PASSENGER SIDE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS GOES OUT EVERY TWO WEEKS. I HAVE HAD EVERYTHING DONE STILL STOP WORKING. ALSO ABS SYSTEM CONTINUES TO LIGHT UP AND BRAKES ACT UP .
MY BRAKE CATCHES WHILE DRIVING AND UNDER DASH BOARD MAKES NOISE AND WHEN YOU TURN ON THE HEATER IT MAKES NOISE AND ALL MY DASH BOARD HAZARDS LIGHT ARE ON AND WANT GO OFF WIPER RADIO FRONT SEAT. THIS CAR HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT TROUBLE AND THE SHOP I TOOK IT TO TOLD ME TO CONTACT YOU BECAUSE THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL ISSUE
I'VE HAD MY 2013 LT IMPALA FOR 39 MONTHS I AM CURRENTLY FINANCING THIS VEHICLE HOWEVER THE ACTUATORS I KEEP REPEATING AND THEY KEEP GOING OUT CONSTANTLY AND THE REPAIRS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE I'VE REPLACED THESE MULTIPLE TIMES AND AFTER A MONTH IT DOES THE PROBLEM AGAIN WHICH ENDED UP DRAINING MY BATTERY EACH TIME. I HAVE REPLACED MY BATTERY FOR A BRAND NEW ONE AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE I GOT THE PROBLEM OF ALL 3 ACTUATOR FIXED AND HERE WE ARE NOW AND MY VEHICLE IS DEAD THE BATTERY WAS DRAINED BECAUSE THE ACTUATORS KEEP GOING OUT AND THE TICKING NOISE NEVER STOPS AND IT GOES EVEN WHEN I'M NOT PRESENT IN THE CAR AND RANDOM TIMES THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT WITHOUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION*DT*JB
WAS TRAVELING ALONG AND I THINK I HAD JUST COMPLETED A LEFT HAND TURN WHEN THE CAR DINGED. I LOOKED AT THE DASH AND THREE MESSAGES POPPED UP, "SERVICE STABILITRAK", "SERVICE BRAKE ASSIST", "SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL" AND THE ABS LIGHT COMES ON AND THE TRACTION OFF LIGHT SHOWS UP. HAPPENS QUITE FREQUENTLY HAVE HAD IT FIXED AT LEAST ONCE ON THIS VEHICLE AND ALSO ON MY 2012 IMPALA BEFORE IT WAS TOTALED.
WHILE DRIVING AND USUALLY MAKING HARD TURN AND BRAKING THE SERVICE STABILITRAK, TRACTION CONTROL, BRAKE ASSIST MESSAGES APPEAR ALL AT THE SAME TIME AND THE ABS LIGHT TURNED ON. HAD DIAGNOSTICS CHECKED ON IT AND FOUND CODE FOR FRONT RIGHT WHEEL BEARING AND POSSIBLE ABS SENSOR. HAD THE WHEEL BEARING AND HUB ASSEMBLY REPLACED BY PROFESSIONAL AUTO REPAIR SHOP. DROVE HOME AND AS RETURNING HOME, MADE LEFT TURN AND BRAKED AND FELT THE BRAKES SLIGHTLY LOCK UP. HIT GAS AND ALL LIGHTS AND MESSAGES REAPPEARED. SERVICED AT 87,000 MILES.
THERE IS A "KNOWN" ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE, ESPECIALLY WHEN TURNING LEFT. THE CAR WILL DECELERATE AND TRAFFIC IS A SAFETY ISSUE. I FOUND THE CAUSE VIA GOOGLE AND NEEDS TO GET ADDRESSED. THE CAR WILL ALWAYS DISPLAY DRIVER FEEDBACK ON THE DASHBOARD. IT SIMULATES WHEN DRIVING THROUGH AN ICY PATCH. THE CAR WILL NOT EXCEL BUT RATHER DECELERATE. THIS HAPPENED TO ME JUST LAST WEEK TURNING INTO PAYTON MANNING CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHEVROLET IMPALA. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH AND DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO STOP. IN ADDITION, THE TRACTION CONTROL AND ABS WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE HAD TO APPLY EXCESSIVE FORCE TO THE BRAKE PEDAL TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE DRIVING AT A LOW SPEED TO HIS RESIDENCE. THE CONTACT CALLED ALAMO CITY CHEVROLET AT (210) 987-2134 (LOCATED AT 9400 SAN PEDRO AVE, SAN ANTONIO, TX 78216) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V355000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000.
THERE IS A RUBBING NOISE ON THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE EVERY TIME I MAKE A LEFT TURN.
THE AIR CONTROL KNOB MAKES A TICKING SOUND. IT DOES WHEN YOU OPEN THE CAR DOOR OPENS, IF THE WIND SHIFTS, OR WHEN YOU ARE ADJUSTING THE TEMPERATURE IN THE CARR
DRIVER'S SIDE BACK DOOR LOCKING MECHANISM WILL BECOME STUCK, AND DOOR WILL REMAIN LOCKED DESPITE ATTEMPTING TO UNLOCK IT WITH THE KEY FOB OR MANUALLY. FIRST NOTICED WHEN THE DOOR WOULD NOT UNLOCK AFTER BEING PUT IN PARK AFTER DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MILES. OTHER DOORS UNAFFECTED, AND REAR PASSENGERS WERE ABLE TO EXIT VEHICLE VIA PASSENGER SIDE BACK DOOR. ONLY SOLUTION APPEARS TO BE REMOVING THE INTERIOR DOOR PANELING TO ACCESS THE LOCKING MECHANISM. THIS WILL RESOLVE THE PROBLEM FOR A PERIOD OF TIME (VARIES) BUT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN.
ACTUATOR FAILS UNDER DASH CAUSING A/C TO FAIL IN THE ARIZONA DESERT. THIS IS THE 4 OR 5TH-TIME CHEVROLET HAS REPLACED UNDER MY EXTENDED WARRANTY AND THEY CLAIM IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH NO RECALL AS IT IS NOT SAFETY RELATED. A/C FAILURE IN THE ARIZONA DESERT IS DEFINATLY A SAFTY ISSUE.
MY VEHICLE HAS 66,000 MILES ON IT. I AM TAKING IT IN FOR THE 3RD TIME DUE TO THE SERVICE STABILITRAK AND SERVICE ABS WARNING. THE CAR MAKES A GRINDING NOISE IN THE FRONT END WHEN TURNING (USUALLY LEFT) OR WHEN SHIFTING FROM REVERSE TO DRIVE. THE FRONT SPEED CONTROL HUB HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE TO SUPPOSEDLY CORRECT HIS PROBLEM. HOWEVER, SINCE IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN, I AM RELATIVELY CERTAIN THAT THE HUB WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED A THIRD TIME. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE IN A VEHICLE WITH ONLY 66,000 MILES ON IT.
2013 CHEVY IMPALA LTZ HAS TO MANY ISSUES WITH UNDER DASH DOOR AGIGATOR CENSORS 2TIMES ON THIS CAR AND NOW ABS AND TRACKSTABLIZER LIGHTS COMING ON AND IT MAKES A GRINDING NOISE WHEN TURNING THE WHEEL TO THE LEFT WAS DRIVING AND THE LIGHTS CAME AND CANT GET THEM TO GO OFF EVEN AFTER RESETTING THEM.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHEVROLET IMPALA. WHILE THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE WAS MAKING A LEFT TURN, AN ABNORMAL GRINDING SOUND WAS HEARD AND THE VEHICLE HESITATED. IN ADDITION, THE ABS AND SERVICE STABILITRAK WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE WHEEL BEARING HUB WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS RETURNED TO THE INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THE HUB WAS REPLACED AGAIN; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,000. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD WITH MY CHILD AND MY SERVICE STABILITRACT AND ABS LIGHT CAME ON AND WHEN I WENT TO TURN ALL U HEARD WAS A GRINDING NOISE AND THE WHEEL LIKE LOCKED UP AND WOULDN'T LET ME TURN UNTIL LIKE 5 SECONDS LATER ALMOST CAUSING ME AND MY KIDS TO GET HIT INTO A REALLY TERRIBLE WRECK WITH CARS COMING AT US AT 55 MPH
WHEN I BACK-UP I HEAR A GRINDING NOISE THEN THE ABS AND SERVICE STABILITRACE WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATES RED ON THE DASHBOARD; THIS IS THE SECOND TIME HAPPING TO THIS CAR THE FIRST THE DEALER REPAIRED THAT WAS ABOUT 30,000 MILES AGO REPLACED THE WHEEL BEARINGS, WORKED FOR A WHILE.
LAST YEAR I TOOK MY CAR TO CHEVY AND THEY TOLD ME THAT NOTHING WAS WRONG AND THAT THEY CAN NOT REPLICATE THE GRINDING NOISE OR SEE THE STABILITRAK LIGHT ON. A YEAR LATER AND IT IS GRINDING MORE AND THE STABILITRAK LIGHT STAYS ON. IS THERE A RECALL FOR THIS? I HAVE KEPT MY CAR UP ON TUNE UPS AND OIL CHANGES, BUT THIS STABILITRAK ISSUE IS GETTING MORE AND MORE ANNOYING EACH DAY AND THAT GRINDING NOISE DOES NOT SOUND GOOD AFTER I WAS TOLD IT WAS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.
SERVICE STABILITRACK WARNING INDICATOR LIGHTS FLASH AND BEEP WHILE ALL GUAGES GO TO ZERO AND BACK WHILE DOOR LOCKS ARE ALSO ENGAGING OPEN AND CLOSED AT ALL SPEEDS. HAS BEEN ALMOST ON DAILY BASIS FOR THE LAST FEW MONTHS. BEFORE 6 MONTHS AGO WOULD ONLY HAPPEN OCCASIONALLY.VEHICLE WILL LOSE ACCELERATION FOR A FEW SECONDS. . THIS WILL HAPPEN SEVERAL TIMES WHILE DRIVING CONSECUTIVE ALMOST 10-20 TIMES IN A ROW. TRACTION CONTROL AND ABS, BRAKE ASSIST WILL ALSO HAVE WARNING LIGHTS GO OFF. HAVE HAD MY CAR IN 2 DIFFRENT SHOPS AND SPENT ALMOST $2000 AND STILL NO FIX. . CHEVY NEEDS TO DO A BETTER JOB EXPLAINING WHAT SERVICE STABILITRACK CONSIST OF. MECHANICS HAVE NO CLEAR IDEA WHAT TO FIX. IS THERE A RECALL ON THIS SYSTEM. ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. CHEVY HAS NO ANSWERS.
WHEN MAKING LOW SPEED LEFT HAND TURN SERVICE STABILITRACK AND SERVICE ABS WARNINGS COME ON, STEERING IS DIFFICULT AND A GRINDING NOISE IS HEARD. GRINDING STOPS WHEN STEERING WHEEL STRAIGHTENED THEN TURN CAN BE MADE AFTER SPEED IS BUILT UP.
VEHICLE IS 5 YEARS OLD AND ONLY 90,000 MILES AND THE ENGINE HAS DEVELOPED AN OIL LEAK ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ENGINE. THE DEALER HAS ALWAY DONE THE OIL CHANGES ETC, AND NEVER MENTIONED IT. THIS IS A FIRE HAZARD AND NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED. I SEE FROM OTHERS THAT THIS IS COMMON ON THE 3.6 ENGINE NO MATTER WHAT VEHICLE IT IS IN.
WAS DRIVING HOME ON THE INTERSTATE WITHIN NORMAL SPEED LIMIT. ALL OF A SUDDEN HIT SOMETHING RAN OVER SOMETHING AND THE CAR BEGIN TO LOSE OIL AND SHUT OFF. WHEN TOWED TO REPAIR SHOP WAS TOLD THE ENGINE HAD A DEFECT IN IT BC IT THREW A ROD AND RUINED THE ENGINE. THE REPAIR SHOP CONFIRMED I WAS NOT AT ANY FAULT BC THERE WAS PLENTY OF OIL AND ALL NEEDED MAINTENANCE WAS UPDATE. THE REPAIR SHOP CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHY THE ENGINE WOULD THROW A ROD AND DEEMED IT A DEFECT IN THE ENGINE. THE CAR WAS BOUGHT WITH 30K MILES AND NOW ITS 130K. NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS UNTIL THIS AND STATEFARM INSURANCE SAYS IT DOES NOT COVER THIS SITUATION. WILL BE SEEKING IF THE MANUFACTURER WILL REPLACE IT, BC IT HAPPENED NOT AT ANY FAULT OF MINE. IF ANYONE ELSE HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS PLEASE MAKE IT KNOWN FOR OTHER PPL AND STATE HOW YOU SOLVED IT. THKS
I HAVE A LOUD TICKING NOISE INSIDE THE DASH (PASSENGER SIDE) THAT STARTS WHEN THE A/C IS TURNED OFF. ALSO HAPPENS IF THE A/C IN THE ON POSITION WHEN THE VEHICLE IS TURNED OFF FOR QUITE SOMETIME. VERY ANNOYING AND SCARY.THIS HAPPENS WHILE DRIVING OR WHEN THE KEY IS NOT IN THE VEHICLE.
THE WIRE HARNESS THAT CONTROLS THE LEFT FRONT ABS AND STABILITRAK BROKE CAUSING THE ABS TO ENGAGE ON IT'S OWN WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. AFTER READING ONLINE IT IS APPARENT THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE IMPALA THAT EVEN HAS A TSB FOR THE PROBLEM. THIS IS A EXTREMELY DANGEROUS ISSUE THAT SHOULD BE RECALLED. I HAVE ATTACHED A PICTURE OF THE BROKEN HARNESS ALONG WITH THE $272.94 BILL FOR HAVING THE DEALER REPAIR IT.
MY REAR DEFROST STOPPED WORKING ONE DAY SO I INSPECTED THE HARNESS FOR REAR DEFROST AND I NOTICED IT WAS BURNT UP AND MELTED AND I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS EXPERIRNCED THIS ISSUE. LOTS OF OTHER IMPALA OWNERS HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I CSLLED THE DEALER AND ASKED IF THIS WAS A RECALL AND THEY SAID NO THIS IS A SAFTEY HAZARD TO ME AND PLENTY OF OTHER MOTORISTS.
SERVICE ABS/STABILITRACK IS DISPLAYING OFTEN. GRINDING NOISE, DECREASED POWER AND CAR WILL NEARLY STOP ON YOU FROM TIME TO TIME, PARTICULARLY WHEN TURNING. TAKEN TO DEALERSHIP, MORE THAN ONCE, THEY GET NO CODES ON DIAGNOSTIC. I BELIEVE THIS IS A WIRING ISSUE. HOWEVER, THIS DEFECT IS FOUND IN MANY YEARS OF THE SAME MAKE OF VEHICLE. AT TIMES WHEN TURNING, THE STOPPING OF THE VEHICLE COULD HARM OR KILL ME OR MY FAMILY. THERE IS BOUND TO BE LAWSUITS IF THIS IS NOT RECALLED. A SEARCH ONLINE PRODUCES HUNDREDS WITH THE SAME ISSUE.
STABILITRACK AND TRACTION CONTROL WILL RANDOMLY FAIL WHILE BACKING AND DRIVING. ESPECIALLY WITH RIGHT HAND STEERING INPUT. MANY TIMES WHILE DRIVING AND TURING RIGHT, STANILITRACK AND TRACTION CONTROL WILL ALERT FAILURE AND THE INPUT FROM THE ACCELERATOR WILL CEASE CAUSING SLOW TIRING LEADING TO NEAR MISS TRAFFIC COLLISIONS. CHEVY CAN NOT FIND PROBLEM AND NUMEROUS ONLINE REPORTS OF THE SAME ISSUE. ON GOING ISSUE.
CAR WAS HARD SHIFTING ALWAYS WAS GETTING TO HIGH WAY SPEED LOST POWER ON ENGINE WARNING CODE CAME ON HAS ONLY LOWER 3 GEARS FORWARD NO REVERSE NOW, CHEVY WANTS ME TO PAY 3660 THEM PAY 1600 AND CALL IT A WARRENTY ,HAS LOT LEFT ON MILEAGE SHORT 5MONTHS ON WARRENTY BEING OUT NOT RIGHT THEY WANT OLD TRANSMISSION ALSO TO COVER THEIR SCREW UP
WAS DRIVING THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR STOPPED ACCELERATING. I WAS GETTING THE FOLLOWING WARNINGS: SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL, TRACK STABILITY, AND ENGINE POWER REDUCED.
2013 CHEVY IMPALA HAS STABILITY CONTROL AND TRACTION CONTROL COME ON ALONG WITH ENGINE LIGHT.THE CAR HAS 20,152 MILES ON IT AND THIS JUST STARTED WHEN IT GOT COLD BUT HAPPENS REGULARLY NOW.I STARTED WARMING UP THE CAR AND THOUGHT THAT FIXED THE PROBLEM BUT IT HAPPENED ON A LEFT TURN AFTER TWO HOURS OF DRIVING WITHOUT INCIDENT UNTIL THE LEFT TURN.
CAR STOPPED RUNNING AT INTERSTATE SPEED (70MPH) WITHOUT WARNING. GAS GAUGE SHOWS 1/4 TANK OF FUEL LEFT. THE CAR HAS ALSO DONE THE SAME THING ON A CITY STREET WITH 1/8 TANK OF FUEL LEFT.
AT ROUGHLY 26,000 MILES MY ABS, STABILITRAC, AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS CAME ON. I TOOK MY CAR TO DEALERSHIP TO REPAIR IGNITION RECALL, THEY REPLACED THE ABS WIRE HARNESS AND CORRECTED THE THE PROBLEM. AT ROUGHLY 56,000 AND 86,000 THE ABS, STABILITRAC, AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS CAME BACK ON. I AM CARRYING MY CAR BACK INTO THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN TOMORROW FOR THE 3RD TIME FOR THE SAME ISSUE. MY CAR IS NOW DECELERATING ON ITS OWN AND THE WHEELS ARE ABRUPTLY LOCKING. THE CAR IS MOVING DURING ALL OF THESE INCIDENTS. MY CAR HAS BEGUN FLASHING ABS, STABILITRAC, AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS AND ABRUPTLY DECELERATING ON ITS OWN AT 60/75 MILES PER HOUR.
DID COME ON UNTIL I STARTED PUTTING MILES ON IT NOW THE ABS TRACKING CONTROL LIGHT STABILITY LIGHT WON'T. GO OFF
THE FLOATING GAS GAUGE DOESN'T PROPERLY READ THE GAS LEVELS, EVEN AFTER REPLACING THE FUEL PUMP SYSTEM AND HOUSING. ONE MINUTE MY GAUGE SAYS I HAVE 120 MILES WORTH OF GAS WHEN I CUT THE CAR OFF. THE NEXT MORNING WHEN I GET IN THE CAR TO LEAVE, MY GAS GAUGE SHOWS 109 MILES THEN IT MIGHT JUMP DOWN TO 99. I CAN NEVER TELL HOW MUCH GAS I HAVE. THE ACTUATORS GO BAD IN EVERY MODEL, I'VE HAD A 2005, 2010 AND 2013 ALL OF WHICH ENCOUNTERED PROBLEMS WITH THE ACTUATORS GOING BAD DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS. WHEN YOU REPLACE ONE ACTUATOR, IT'S NOT LONG BEFORE IT GOES OUT AGAIN AND YOU NEED A NEW ONE.
WHEN DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS (EG 20MPH) AND THEN RE-APPLYING GAS PEDAL TO ACCELERATE THERE IS A LARGE JUMP/KICK FROM WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE LOCK UP O F TRANSMISSION AND ENGINE. ALSO THE POWERTRAIN DOESNT FEEL SMOOTH WHEN DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. IT SEEMS AS THOUGH SOMETHING IS LOOSE OR NOT ROTATING ON THE CORRECT AXIS. I HAVE TAKEN CAR TO DEALER AND MECHANICS ABOUT 7 TIMES THIS YEAR ALL TO NO AVAIL. THE VIBRATIONS AND UNSMOOTHNESS AREN'T EXPERIENCED IN COMPETITOR CARS THAT I HAVE DRIVEN. THIS HAS OCCURED OVER THE COURSE OF 7 MONTHS.
SECOND COMPLAINT. FIRST COMPLAINT WAS FILED ON 8/17/2117 NHSTS REFERENCE # 1128287. THE CAT RANDOMLY THE ABS AND TRACTIONCONYROL LIGHT COMES ON EVEN WHEN TRACTIONCONYROL IS OFF IT THEN MAKE A GRINDING SOUND WHEN MAKING TURNS AND LOOSES POWER AND HESITATES. IT JUST RANDOMLY DOES THIS.
SECOND COMPLAINT ORIGINAL NHSTA REFERENCE # 1128286 FILED ON 8/17/2017RANDIMLY THE ABS AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT COMES IN EVEN WHEN TRACTION CONTROL IS OFF. WHEN TURNING THERE IS A LOUD GRINDING NOISE THE CAR ALSO HESTITATES AND LOOSES POWER.

MY 2013 CHEVROLET IMPALA HAD 28, 000 MILES WHEN IT BEGAN MAKING LOW TONE GRINDING NOISES WHEN TURNING LEFT FROM A STOP OR AT LOWER SPEEDS. THIS HAS HAPPENED IN REVERSE GEAR A FEW TIMES AS WELL. THE LOW PITCH GRINDING SOUND HAS OCCURRED WHILE MAKING A SLOW RIGHT HAND TURNS A FEW TIMES. THE GRINDING NOISE OCCURS ON BOTH DRY AND WET PAVEMENT. FREQUENTLY A REDUCTION IN FORWARD POWER OCCURS. INTERMITTENT WARNING LIGHTS AND MESSAGES OCCUR INTERMITTENTLY: STABILITY TACK NEEDS SERVICED, SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL, AND RED ABS LIGHT COMES ON. WHEN DRIVING IN BUMPY AREAS THE RED ABS LIGHT COMES ON. WHEN TAKING OFF ON AN UP HILL GRADE TRACTION CONTROL RUMBLES AND THEN I HAVE A REDUCTION IN POWER AS I TRY TO ACCELERATE MAKING MY FORWARD MOTION SLOWER THAN ANTICIPATED AND PLACING ME IN DANGER. MECHANIC USED AN ANALYZER AND SAID IT WAS MY LEFT WHEEL SENSOR. HE REPLACED THE HUB. MY PROBLEM BEGAN AGAIN LESS THAN 15 MINUTES AFTER DRIVING OUT OF THE REPAIR SHOP. NONE OF THIS OCCURS WHEN I MANUALLY TURN OFF THE STABILITY CONTROL WHEN I FIRST START THE CAR.(THE BUTTON ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE DASHBOARD THAT HAS A DRAWING OF THE CAR AND SQUIGGLY LINES) VERY DANGEROUS, ANNOYING AND COSTLY SITUATION. RECALL NECESSARY!!!!!

IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL GRINDING NOISE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SPEED SENSOR WIRE FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE AND REMOVED THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE TO SHOW THAT THE SPEED SENSOR WIRE WAS ACTUALLY SPLICED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 99,563.
AUTO BRAKING SYSTEM CONSTANTLY GOES ON / OFF TOLD IT'S HUB SENSOR. REPLACE HUB SAME PROBLEM INTERNET HAS MANY PEOPLE WITH SAME PROBLEM, AND SPENT MORE THAN ME TROUBLESHOOTING THE PROBLEM AND STILL CAN'T RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM. HOW CAN YOU TELL IF BRAKES ARE FAILING IF THIS SYSTEM CONTINUES TO ALARM FOR NO KNOWN REASON.

NOW RECENTLY IT HAS STARTED AGAIN AND MUCH WORSE. IT NOW DOES IT WHEN I TURN IN EITHER DIRECTION, GOING FORWARD OR REVERSING AND THE TRACTION LIGHT WILL FLASH ON DRIVING STRAIGHT AS WELL.
