EVERY 18 MONTHS I GET A ERROR CODE OF P0463 AND P2119. FUEL SYSTEM WAS REPLACED TWICE AND NOW POSSIBLY A THIRD TIME. CAR WANTS TO STOP ON ITS OWN AFTER A FEW MILES OF DRIVING. SECONDARY PROBLEM ALSO INCLUDES LOW FUEL LEVEL WARNING EVEN WHEN FUEL IS AT A FULL TANK. *TR
MY WIFE WENT TO DRIVE THE CAR ON SUNDAY, 5/15/2011. THE SEAT BROKE. THE SEAT CROSS MEMBER FAILED. THE SEAT NOW ROCKS BACK AND FORTH. IT IS GOING TO THE DEALER ON 5/24/2011 FOR REPAIR. FORTUNATELY, IT DID NOT HAPPEN AT HIGHWAY SPEED. WE HAVE TO LOWER THE SEAT ALL THE WAY DOWN TO GET ANY STABILITY. I DID SOME RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET AND APPARENTLY, THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE MAIBU MAXX
MY 21 YR OLD SON WAS DRIVING HIS CAR ON A CITY STREET WHEN HE STARTED TO SMELL A BAD ODOR, POSSIBLY MELTING PLASTIC. WITHIN 15 SECONDS, FLAMES SHOT UP THE FRONT SEAT CENTER CONSOLE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. HE QUICKLY PULLED OVER AND TRIED TO PUT OUT THE FLAMES. BURNING HIS HAND IN THE PROCESS AND REALIZING VERY QUICKLY THIS WOULDN'T WORK, HE QUICKLY AND URGENTLY LEFT THE VEHICLE AND CALLED 911. WITHIN 30 SECONDS OF LEAVING THE VEHICLE, THE FLAMES SPREAD AND COMPLETELY CONSUMED THE VEHICLE. THIS VEHICLE WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, NOTHING CHANGED/TAILORED FROM THE FACTORY (IE. STOCK PARTS INCLUDING THE RADIO), AND NO RECENT MAINTENANCE. IF THERE HAD BEEN A SMALL CHILD IN A CAR SEAT, ETC., THIS SITUATION COULD HAVE RESULTED IN SERIOUS INJURY, EVEN A DEATH. *TR
DRIVER SEAT FRAME WELDS BROKE CAUSING THE SEAT TO LEAN TO ONE CORNER AND BOUNCE AS DRIVING. *TR
THIS IS MY SECOND COMPLAINT FOR MY 05 MALIBU LS, I PURCHASED IN 2006, APPROXIMATELY 20,000 MILES, NOTICED SHORTLY AFTER THE POPPING NOISE IN THE STEERING AREA. I WAS TOLD AT THAT TIME GM WAS AWARE AND WORKING ON IT. KEPT TAKING IT BACK FOR REPAIRS/SERVICE. IN 08 HAD THE STEERING GEAR BOX REPLACED, NOW I'M TOLD IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AGAIN ALONG WITH THE I SHAFT. CURRENT MILE 109,000, IT HAS ONLY BEEN 50,000 MILES SINCE THE LAST GEAR BOX WAS REPLACED. I ASKED IF THIS WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM OR WOULD I HAVE REPLACE IT AGAIN AND THEY COULD NOT SAY AND OFFERED ME $2,000 ON TRADE IN. LOL I DON'T THINK SO. AND I WOULDN'T WANT TO MAKE THIS SOMEONE ELSE'S PROBLEM. WHEN WILL GM, WITH ALL THE COMPLAINTS DO A RECALL?!! WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO GET A RECALL ON THIS SAFETY ISSUE WILL SOMEONE HAVE TO DIE? THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING WOULD LOCK ABNORMALLY WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS BOTH IN MOTION AND STOPPED, MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO TURN THE WHEEL AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED BUT WAS UNABLE TO ASSIST. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNAVAILABLE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 121,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN MAKING A RIGHT OR LEFT TURN, THE VEHICLE WOULD MAKE A LOUD CLUNKING NOISE. THE DEALER REPLACED THE STEERING SHAFT, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 24,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 26,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET MALIBU. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH THE CONTACT STATED THE STEERING WHEEL PULLED TO THE LEFT. THE POWER STEERING ALSO STOPPED FUNCTIONING; HOWEVER, WITHIN A FEW MINUTES IT BEGAN TO FUNCTION NORMALLY. THE FAILURE OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE CONTACT WILL NOT DRIVE THE VEHICLE OR TAKE IT TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET MALIBU MAXX. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO VEER TOWARD THE LEFT BEFORE THE POWER STEERING FAILED. DURING THE FAILURE, THE POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS SHUT OFF AND UPON RESTART, THE VEHICLE OPERATED AS NORMAL. THE FAILURE HAD SINCE RECURRED INTERMITTENTLY AND THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO HAVE THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 114,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET MALIBU MAXX. THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD CLUNKING NOISE WHEN ATTEMPTING A RIGHT OR LEFT TURN AT LOW SPEEDS. THE DEALER ADVISED THE CONTACT TO REPLACE THE STABILIZER BAR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. NO REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 138,000 AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 112,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS HAD OVERHEATED AND BURNED THROUGH THE PLASTIC BECAUSE OF THE BULBS BECOMING TOO HOT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INSPECTED OR REPAIRED FOR THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 111,000.
2005 CHEVY MALIBU LS V6, DRIVERS POWER SEAT IS COMING APART. WELDS HAVE SEPARATED NEAR LOWER, REAR RH SIDE. SEAT BELTS ARE ATTACH TO SEAT. NOT SURE HOW SAFE CAR IS NOW. DEALER WANT TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE SEAT. FOR ABOUT A $1000. *TR
I HAVE A 2005 CHEVY MALIBU CLASSIC AND THE SIGNAL KEEPS FAILING YOU DON'T KNOW WHEN IT WILL HAPPEN YOU JUST SIGNAL AND NOTICE IT DOESN'T COME ON..VERY DANGEROUS WHEN DRIVING..IT STARTS BACK UP AGAIN WHEN IT FEEL LIKE IT..I FEEL LIKE THIS IS VERY UNSAFE AND SCARY..IT HAS HAPPEN TO ME ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND IN FED UP WITH THIS PROBLEM..ITS HAS HAPPEN 3 TIMES IN A 3 WEEK PERIOD AND THAT DOESN'T SEEM NORMAL. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH THE POWER STEERING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A MECHANIC WHO INFORMED HER TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WILL BE TAKEN TO THE DEALER WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 119,850.
CAR LOST POWER, STEERING INTACT & I STEERED IT TO THE SHOULDER OF THE INTERSTATE HIGHWAY. ANTI-THEFT LIGHT WAS FLASHING. ON JUN 4TH, ALL ATTEMPTS TO RESET THE THE SYSTEM FAILED (I WAS WAITING TEN MINUTES WITH KEY IN ON POSITION). THE CAR BEGAN TO FLASH ALL LIGHTS & A BUZZING ALARM SOUNDED. BY JULY, THE ANTI THEFT DEVICE WAS PREVENTING STARTING OR CAUSING THE ENGINE TO STOP ON A DAILY BASIS. A CODE INDICATED A PROBLEM WITH THE FUEL SUPPLY TO THE INJECTORS & POSSIBLY THE FUEL PUMP. (THE ANTI THEFT DEVICE WORKS BY CUTTING OFF THE FUEL TO THE INJECTORS). REPLACED 2 FUEL PUMPS (ALL WORKING), HAD ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECKED, REPLACED A DEFECTIVE FUSE BOX,BENT PLUG. THE PROBLEM OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY, & WAS DOCUMENTED BY THE SHOP. TODAY CAR WAS DISABLED BY THE ANTI THEFT DEVICE AS I TURNED ONTO THE STATE HIGHWAY.. WHEN I PICKED MY HUSBAND UP FROM WORK AT NIGHT THE CAR DISPLAYED THE ANTI THEFT LIGHT AND BUZZED & QUIT IN THE MIDDLE OF A FOUR LANE ROAD. WE MANAGED TO GET ALMOST HOME, & TURNED INTO OUR DRIVEWAY WHEN THE LIGHT BEGAN FLASHING & THE BUZZER AGAIN WENT OFF. A CAR ALMOST HIT US, BUT THE GUY PULLED OVER & HELPED PUSH OUR CAR. THE LOCAL CHEVROLET DEALER OFFERED TO DO A DIAGNOSTIC FOR $98, BUT SAYS THERE ARE NO BULLETINS OR RECALLS IT APPEARS THAT A GREAT MANY INCIDENTS OF THIS SORT HAVE OCCURRED WITHOUT ANY RESPONSE BY THE NHTSA TO INITIATE A RECALL OR HAVE CHEVROLET FIX OR DISABLE THE DEVICE ON AFFECTED VEHICLES, EVEN THOUGH THERE IS A SPAN OF OVER SEVEN YEARS OR MORE DURING WHICH CHEVY CONTINUED TO MANUFACTURE VEHICLES WITH FULL KNOWLEDGE THAT THE PART WAS DEFECTIVE & CAUSING LIFE THREATENING EVENTS. PLEASE DIRECT CHEVROLET TO NOTIFY OWNERS & AMELIORATE THE DANGER CREATED BY THEIR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AT THEIR EXPENSE. *KB
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET MALIBU. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH THE SEAT SHIFTED BACKWARDS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN HE STOPPED AND INSPECTED THE VEHICLE HE NOTICED A TUBE THAT WAS ATTACHED TO THE WELD OF THE SEAT WAS BROKEN. THE VEHICLE WILL BE TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,800.

THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH WHEN AND A SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER STEERING OCCURRED, FOLLOWED BY THE ILLUMINATION OF THE POWER STEERING WARNING INDICATOR. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE DRIVING USING EXTREME BODILY FORCE TO MANEUVER THE STEERING WHEEL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 52,000. II HAVE A 2005 CHEVROLET MALIBU LT THAT I BOUGHT USED IN SEPTEMBER 2010. IT HAD 43,000 MILES WHEN I PURCHASED IT, AND NOW HAS JUST OVER 46,000 MILES. SOON AFTER WE BOUGHT IT I HEARD A LOUD 'CLUNKING' SOUND COMING FROM THE STEERING COLUMN. I DID THE CUSTOMARY ON LINE RESEARCH AND FOUND THIS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM FOR THAT YEAR AND MODEL. I CONTACTED GM CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REQUESTED THAT THEY REPAIR THE VEHICLE AS I CONSIDERED THIS TO BE A SAFETY ISSUE. THEY REFUSED TO ASSIST IN THE REPAIR AND WOULD NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IT WAS A SAFETY PROBLEM. THEY OFFERED ME A $100.00 CREDIT TO BE USED ON ANY FUTURE SERVICE OR REPAIR ON THE MALIBU EXCEPT THE STEERING PROBLEM! THE STEERING HAS NOT FAILED ON THE VEHICLE YET, BUT BASED ON THE MANY COMPLAINTS THAT I HAVE READ I AM LEERY OF DRIVING IT ON THE OPEN ROAD FOR FEAR THAT IT MAY FAIL WHILE I AM DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. BECAUSE OF THE SAFETY CONCERN I WILL HAVE TO HAVE THE STEERING COLUMN REPLACED AT MY OWN EXPENSE. WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE TO GET GM TO ADMIT THAT THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE? AND WHY DOESN'T NHTSA DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS OBVIOUS DEFECT IN THE DESIGN OF THE STEERING COMPONENTS? THESE VEHICLES NEED TO BE RECALLED AND REPAIRED BY GM. MY 2005 CHEVY MALIBU IS EXPERIENCING AN ISSUE WITH THE FUEL GAUGE IN REGARDS TO EVERY TIME I FILL UP ON GAS. AFTER THE NOZZLE CLICKS ONCE LETTING ME KNOW THAT IT IS FULL, I TAKE THE NOZZLE OUT. WHEN I START THE CAR, THE GAS NEEDLE GOES UP TO FULL AND STAYS THERE FOR ABOUT 3 MILES OR SO. THEN IT SUDDENLY GOES TO EMPTY AND I GET THE LOW FUEL MESSAGE, THE STEADY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND THE CHIME. AFTER DRIVING 30 MORE MILES, THE NEEDLE FIXES IT SELF AND GOES TO THE CORRECT LEVEL OF GAS. IT WORKS FINE FOR THE REST OF THE TIME UNTIL I FILL UP AGAIN. THE LOW FUEL MESSAGE GOES AWAY AND THE LIGHT ON THE DASH BOARD GOES AWAY TOO. THIS IS VERY SIMILAR TO A RECENT MESSAGE MY FATHER-IN-LAW RECEIVED FROM GM CONCERNING HIS 2005 CHEVY ENVOY. HE RECEIVED A LETTER REGARDING A SPECIAL COVERAGE FOR FAILING FUEL GAUGE SENSORS. THE DESCRIPTION IN THE LETTER IS VERY SIMILAR TO MY SAME PROBLEM. *TT
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THERE WAS A SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER STEERING WITHOUT ANY WARNING. THE STEERING WHEEL WAS DIFFICULT TO TURN EVEN THOUGH FORCE WAS APPLIED CONTINUOUSLY. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TWICE WHERE THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING MOTOR WAS REPLACED EACH TIME. IN ADDITION, THE POWER STEERING MOTOR WAS REPROGRAMMED BY THE DEALER. THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THERE WAS A RECALL RELATED TO THE FAILURE UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 14V153000 (STEERING) HOWEVER, THE CONTACT'S VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNAVAILABLE.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET MALIBU MAXX. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING COLUMN BECAME HARD TO MOVE. THE DEALER ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY AND OFFERED NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND THE CONTACT WAS AWAITING A RESPONSE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHO ADVISED HER TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 130,000 AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 129,000.
AT 45000 MILES I NOTICED A POPPING NOISE IN THE FRONT END (PASSENGER SIDE) WHEN I MADE A LEFT TURN. I TOOK IT INTO MY MECHNIC AND HE SAID THE CV SHAFT WAS GOING OUT, BUT IT WOULD TAKE AWHILE BEFORE IT DID. IT DIDNT GET WORSE FOR AWHILE, NOW AT 62000, THE FRONT END HAS A HORRIBLE SHAKING, PULLS TO THE RIGHT SIDE, POPS ALL THE TIME AND THE TIRE ON THAT SIDE MAKES A WEIRD FLAPPING NOISE, IT ALMOST FEELS LIKE THE TIRE ITSELF IS OUT OF ROUND OR SOMETHING, AND IT IS WEARING SMOOTH ON THE INSIDE OF THE TIRE. I HAVE BEEN DOING SOME RESEARCH AND IT SEEMS OTHER MALIBU OWNERS ARE HAVING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEMS, IS THIS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE UNDER RECALL? IS GM AWARE OF THIS ISSUE? *TR
2005 CHEVY MALIBU STEERING IS FAILING. LOUD CLUNKING NOISE COMING FROM STEERING COLUMN AND THE STEERING WHEEL TURNS WILE THE TIRES DO NOT. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND A COMPLETE SAFETY HAZARD! I AM BEING TOLD THIS WILL NOT BE COVERED BY GM. A SAFETY RECALL IS NEEDED. *TR
2005 CHEVY MALIBU FRONT PARKING LIGHT LENS MELT ONTO BULB, PROBABLY CAUSED BY PARKING LIGHTS USED AS DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS. ALSO SHOWS HEAT DISCOLORATION ON REFLECTIVE MATERIAL IN LIGHT ASSEMBLY. I'VE PERSONALLY INSPECTED OVER 15 2005 CHEVY MALIBU, ALL HAVE SAME ISSUE. VEHICLES WITH MORE MILES SHOWED MORE DAMAGE. POSSIBLE FIRE HAZARD AND ONCE MELTED ENOUGH VIOLATES LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS. TRIED WORKING WITH CHEVY CUSTOMER SERVICE WHO REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEM. *TR
WHILE CLEANING PLASTIC HEAD/DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT COVER ON LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE, I NOTICED BOTH AMBER DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT/TURN SIGNAL LENS ARE MELTED AT THE TOP AND BURNED FROM THE HEAT OF THE BULBS, WHICH MAY LEAD TO A FIRE.

THE CAR HAS A CONSOLE. THERE ARE ACCESS PANELS ON EITHER SIDE. WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD, I HAT A POT HOLE, AND THE DRIVERS SIDE PANEL CAME OFF AND DROPPED BETWEEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDLE, AND THE SIDE OF THE HUMP HOLDING THE ACCELERATOR DOWN. I WAS FORCED TO PUT THE CAR IN NUTERAL AND GET TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WHERE I WAS ABLE TO REMOVE THE PANEL. WHEN I INSPECTED THE PANEL, I FOUND IT IS HELD IN PLACE BY A 1" SQUARE OF VELCROW. I WILL BE REINSTALLING THE PANEL, AND INSERTING A SCREW THROUGH THE VELCROW MOUNT. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A SERIEOUS INCEIDENT!
STOPPED AT STOP SIGN AND I WAS TRYING TO MAKE A RIGHT HAND TURN. WHEN TRAFFIC CLEARED I PUSHED ON THE GAS TO ENTER ONTO THE WHEN MY CAR STARTED TO MAKE THIS LOUD DING, DING, DING SOUND AND THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP. AT THAT TIME I COULD NOT TURN MY STEERING WHEEL. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE STEERING UNLOCKED AND I THEN MADE LIKE A SHARP RIGHT AS IT KICKED IN. VERY SCARY. DURING THE LOUD DINGING SOUND I WAS LOOKING TO FIND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OR SOME INDICATOR TO WHAT WAS GOING ON. I DID NOT SEE IT UNTIL THIS HAPPENED A SECOND TIME ABOUT A WEEK LATER AND IT FLASHED POWER STEERING. THERE IS A TSB ON THIS BUT BECAUSE I AM OVER THE MILES THEY WON'T HELP ME. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND EVERY VEHICLE SHOULD BE RECALLED.
THE LEFT FRONT TURN SIGNAL LAMP CONTINUES TO BURN OUT. HAVE REPLACED THE LAMP NOW 4 TIMES SINCE MARCH 2011. THE AMBER COVER SEEMS TO BE MELTING DUE TO THE EXTREME HEAT AS THE BULB IS ALSO THE RUNNING LIGHTS WHEN THE CAR IS PUT INTO DRIVE ON THE TRANSMISSION. I HAVE REPLACED WITH THE RECOMMENDED BULB AND ALSO THE LONG LIFE BULB. THE RECOMMEND BULB WILL LAST ABOUT 2 WEEKS, THE LONG LIFE I GET ABOUT 2 OR 3 MONTHS ON IT. THIS IS ONLY HAPPENING ON THE LEFT FRONT, NOT ON THE RIGHT FRONT. *TR

THERE IS AN EXTENDED WARRANTY SPECIAL COVERAGE # 1-0183, MAY 2015 OR 100,000 MILES. I HAD THE DEALERSHIP DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM ,COST ME $100.00. TO FIX IT IS $700.00 TO $800.00. THE DEALER WILL GIVE ME 10% OFF OF PARTS. GM WILL NOT ASSIST WITH COST BECAUSE IT IS NOT WITHIN COVERAGE PARAMETERS. THIS WAS A COMPANY CAR WHERE I WORK. I BOUGHT IT ONE YEAR AGO FOR MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER. I FEEL THE STEERING JUST NOW BECAME A PROBLEM AT 107,000 MILES BECAUSE IT WAS DRIVEN HIGHWAY MILES ONLY. I AM A SINGLE MOTHER AND CANNOT PAY THE EXPENSE TO FIX THE STEERING PROBLEM. DUE TO SAFETY I CANNOT PUT MY DAUGHTER BACK INTO THIS CAR. I HAD JUST PICKED UP MY 14 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER, AND HER FRIENDS. I WAS DRIVING HOME IN MY 2005 MALIBU WITH 107K MILES ON IT. WHEN I WAS MAKING A LEFT TURN AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.
