I HAVE WAITED 3 YEARS FOR A RECALL FOR MY STEERING PROBLEM WHICH STARTED 08-2012 WITH 75,000 MILES. ON 03/13/15 I TOOK MY CAR IN FOR RECALL #14116 WITH 95,000 MILES. THE FIX FAILED COMPLETELY. ON 07/07/15 WITH 98,800 MILES I RETURNED TO THE CHEV DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC. WHICH COST ME $108.00. RECEIVED A CALL FROM DEALER, AFTER ROAD TEST AND DIAGNOSTIC, COULD NOT FIND A PROBLEM. NEXT DAY I TOOK THE MECHANIC FOR A TEST DRIVE AND HE SAW THE PROBLEM. ALERT CHIMES, POWER STEERING DISPLAYED ON THE DIC AND LOSS OF POWER STEERING. AFTER TALKING WITH CHEVROLET TECH SUPPORT THERE BEST GUESS WAS A FAILING POWER STEERING CONTROL MODULE. AND WANTED $650.00 PLUS THE $108.00 I PAID FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC WITH NO GUARANTEE THAT IT WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM, MAY NEED OTHER REPAIRS. I DECLINED. I DID MORE REACH AND FOUND TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN # 10183A, SPECIAL COVERAGE PROGRAM. 10 YEAR OR 150,000 MILE WARRANTY ON THE STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY. RETURNED TO DEALER ON 07/13/15, 98,800 MILES AND HAD STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY REPLACED UNDER THE WARRANTY. NO CHANGE, THE PROBLEM STILL EXIST. MORE REACH FOUND ALL VEHICLES THAT HAVE RECALL #14116 DONE FAILED TO WORK. 99% WERE TOLD BY THE CHEV. DEALERSHIP LIKE ME THAT THE POWER STEERING CONTROL MODULE FAILING. I'AM REQUESTING THAT NHTSA ADD THE PART TO THE RECALL LIST OR MAKE CHEVROLET DO SOMETHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM IN LESS THAN ANOTHER 10 YEARS. HAVE CONTACTED CHEVROLET CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE CENTER NO REPLY AFTER 3 BUSINESS DAYS.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING INTERNAL MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 182,052.
RECIVED CALKBACK GM ACCKNOLAGED PROBLEM WITH STEERING REFUSED TO WORK ON CAR BECAUSE IT WAS LOOK AT FROM ANOTHER DEALER.
OUR 2006 CHEVY MALIBU LOW COOLANT LIGHT CAME ON. IT WAS CHECKED AND COOLANT WAS PUT IN THE VEHICLE. IT CONTINUED TO COME ON. IT WAS TAKEN TO OUR REGULAR CHEVY DEALER IN MARCH 2015 WHO MISDIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND REPLACED THE COOLANT RESERVOIR. THE LOW COOLANT LIGHT CAME BACK ON AND WE WERE LOOSING MORE ENGINE COOLANT IN JUNE 2015. IT WAS TAKEN BACK TO OUR DEALER. WE WERE TOLD IT HAS A CRACKED HEAD GASKET AND THE LEAK IS INTERNAL. THE CHEVY DEALER RECOMMENDED THE ENTIRE ENGINE BE REPLACED AS A PRECAUTION BECAUSE IT HAS OVER 100, 000 MILES. OUR 2006 CHEVY MALIBU HAVE BEEN MAINTAINED WELL AND KEPT UP WITH ALL MAINTENANCE. . AND FOR THE GASKET TO BE LEAKING IS BEYOND US. THE LEAK COULD NOT BE SEEN TO THE VISIBLE EYE. THE ONLY WAY WE KNEW THEIR WAS A LEAK WAS BECAUSE THE LOW COOLANT LIGHT CAME ON, WHICH WAS THE REASON WHY WE TOOK IT TO THE MECHANIC. WE ARE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE MISDIAGNOSE OF OUR VEHICLE AND WITH THE PROBLEM. THE CHEVY DEALER DID REFUND US FOR THE MISDIAGNOSE OF THE PROBLEM BUT NOTHING ELSE WAS OFFERED OR DONE. NOW WE HAVE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO BECAUSE WE NEED OUR CAR.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO INDICATED THAT THE POWER STEERING MOTOR FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 170,000.
DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD MY POWER STEERING LIGHT CAME ON AND NOW MY WHEEL KICKS ALL OVER WHEN I TRY TO DRIVE! I TOOK IT TO A GM DEALER AND THEY SAID THAT IT'S THE POWER STEERING MOTOR AND THAT IT HAS A DEAD SPOT THEY SAID THEY HAVE HAD A LOT OF THIS GOING ON IN MY MAKE AND MODEL! THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL! ALSO MY CAR IS STARTING TO DECIDE WHEN IS SHOULD START. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE CRUISE CONTROL WAS DEACTIVATED, THE VEHICLE DECELERATED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO PLACE THE GEAR IN LOW AND DROVE THE VEHICLE HOME. THE TRANSMISSION REGAINED FUNCTION AFTER THE ENGINE WAS RESTARTED AND THE GEARS WERE SHIFTED SEVERAL TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE OR DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. AFTER INSPECTING THE TRANSMISSION, THE TECHNICIAN ADVISED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS OPERATING AS NORMAL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,000.
WENT TO GO GET SOMETHING TO EAT WAITING IN DRIVE THRU AND ALL OF A SUDDEN GAS GAUGE WENT FROM FULL TO EMPTY AND THE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE DISPLAY SAID LOW FUEL AND HTE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. ME AND MY HUSBAND LOOKED AT EACH OTHER I TOLD HIM ITS FULL. SO WE GOT OUR FOOD AND WENT NEXT DOOR TO THE GAS STATION WENT TO PUT GAS IN AND IT WOULD TAKE ANY BECAUSE IT WAS FULL. SO THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE GAS GAUGE SAID FULL. IT DID THIS OFF AND ON FOR A WHILE THEN IT STARTED NOT WANTING TO START IT WOULD TAKE 3-5 TRIES TO FINALLY GET IT STARTED. THEN HAD THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CHECK IT SAID IT NEEDED THE FUEL PUMP AND RELAY I THINK THAT IS WHAT IT SAID. SO FINALLY WE FOUND SOME ONE THAT WOULD REPLACE IT WE HAD TO REPLACE BOTH THE FUEL PUMP AND THE RELAY THAT LETS YOU KNOW WHEN THE FUEL IS AT IN YOUR GAS TANK. *TR
I HAD JUST BOUGHT THE VEHICLE ABOUT TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE FIRST INCIDENT, I WAS DRIVING UP A TWO LANE WINDING MOUNTAIN ROAD AND MY STEERING LOCKED UP, I HEARD A FEW DINGS AND THEN THE STEERING WHEEL RELEASED. WHEN I GOT HOME I CALLED CHEVROLET IN RENO AND ASKED IF THERE WAS A RECALL ON THIS PARTICULAR ISSUE, THEY SAID NO. I ALSO LOOKED IT UP AND THERE WAS NOTHING LISTED. THIS IS A CONTINUOUS PROBLEM. THIS MONTH ON FEBRUARY 13 WAS THE FINAL STRAW, I WAS DRIVING ON A DIRT ROAD AT MY DAUGHTERS HOUSE AND MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP AND I HIT A FENCE. NO ONE WAS INJURED BUT MY CAR IS. THIS STEERING ISSUE HAS OCCURRED TO MANY TIMES TO COUNT. SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET KILLED FROM THIS ISSUE. I HAVE A FRIEND WHO OWNS THE SAME MAKE AND MODEL AND THEY WERE INVOLVED IN A ACCIDENT LAST WEEK AND TOTALED THE CAR. THEY HAVE THE SAME ISSUE! *JS

THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V064000 (STEERING); HOWEVER, THE PART NEEDED TO PERFORM THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 151,789.
POWER STEERING ALL OF A SUDDEN STOPPED WORKING ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS.
IF YOU THINK GM HAD A BIG PROBLEM WITH THE IGNITION SWITCHES HERE IS A BIGGER ONE. I HAVE OWNED GM SINCE 1972 AND HAVE ALWAYS FOUND THAT THE DELCO BATTERIES ARE THE BEST. YOU COULD GO 8 TO 8 1/2 YEARS BEFORE YOU NEEDED TO REPLACE THE BATTERY BECAUSE AN INTERNAL PLATE WOULD SEPARATE FROM THE BANK OF PLATES. BUT SOMETHING CHANGED IN THE 1990S.I HAVE HAD TWO DELCO BATTERIES DO THIS AND I READ ABOUT A MAN IN FLORIDA THAT DIED IN HIS CAR BECAUSE IT HAPPENED TO HIM. YOUR GET IN YOUR VEHICLE, START THE ENGINE, PUT THE CAR IN GEAR, THE DOOR LOCKS ACTIVATE, AND THE ENGINE QUITS. YOU PUT THE CAR BACK IN PARK, AND TRY STARTING THE VEHICLE AGAIN, NOTHING !! ALL ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS ARE DEAD. THE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE AND POST HAVE SEPERATED FROM THE BATTERY. TO GET OUT OF THE CAR YOU HAVE TO TRIP THE MANUAL DOOR LOCKS. IF SOMEONE HOLDS THE POST BACK INTO THE BATTERY YOU WILL HAVE POWER BUT AS SOON AS THEY LET GO, ALL ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS DIE. THINK OF IT THIS WAY. YOU ARE HEADING HOME AFTER A HOLIDAY, ON AN EXPRESSWAY IN THE COUNTRY, DOING 70 MPH, IN THE DARK. BUMPER TO BUMPER. THE POSITIVE BATTERY POST BREAKS LOOSE. YOU NOW HAVE NO HEAD LIGHTS, NO HORN, NO TURN SIGNALS, NO BRAKE LIGHTS, NO BODY LIGHTS,NO POWER STEERING, NO POWER BRAKES, ALL ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS HAVE DIED. YOU ARE THE CAPTAIN OF A GHOST SHIP AND THAT DRIVER THAT YOU KNOW WAS BEHIND YOU WILL ONLY HAVE A SECOND TO REACT WHEN HIS HEADLIGHTS PICK YOU UP. GM NEEDS TO INVESTIGATE AND CORRECT.
GENERAL MOTORS HAS A RECALL FOR DEFECTIVE POWER STEERING THAT CAUSES THE POWER STEERING TO FAIL FOR SEVERAL SECONDS. WE TOOK OUR VEHICLE TO JET CHEVROLET IN FEDERAL WAY, WA TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE ACCORDING TO THE RECALL. THEY CLAIM THEY DID THE WORK. HOWEVER, WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS, WE CONTINUED TO HAVE THE EXACT SAME FAILURE WITH THE POWER STEERING. WE CALLED JET CHEVROLET AGAIN TO REPORT IT AND BROUGHT THE VEHICLE IN AGAIN AND THEY SAID IT WAS SOMETHING ELSE CAUSING THE PROBLEM OTHER THAN THE RECALL. THEY WANT TO CHARGE US $100 TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. HOWEVER, THE CAR IS DOING EXACTLY THE SAME THING AS BEFORE WE BROUGHT IT IN FOR THE RECALL. IF THEY DID REPLACE THE PART, I'M SURE IT MUST HAVE BEEN A DEFECTIVE PART. WE NEED SOMETHING DONE TO REMEDY THIS SITUATION TO AVOID A POTENTIAL CAR ACCIDENT.

WHEN THE VEHICLE IS COLD THE POWER STEERING DOES NOT WORK. AS THE CAR WARMS IT BEGINS TO WORK. WHEN YOU DRIVE IT WILL SURPRISE YOU WITH PERIODS OF NO POWER STEERING THEN IT WILL COME BACK CAUSING YOU TO OVER STEER. *TR

WHILE DRIVING POWER STEERING LIGHT CAME ON AND WHEN MY DAUGHTER ARRIVED HOME, I CHECKED FOR FLUIDS AND FOUND OUT THIS POWER STEERING WAS ELECTRONIC. LOOK ON LINE AND FOUND OUT ABOUT THE RECALLS BUT THIS VEHICLE WAS NOT ON THE LIST. COULD NOT TAKE A CHANCE OF MY DAUGHTER GETTING INTO AN ACCIDENT, SHE USES THIS CAR FOR WORK AND COLLEGE. FOLLOWING DAY DROVE CAR TO DEALER AND PAID 438. 69 TO MAKE THE NECESSARY REPAIRS WHICH CONSISTED OF REPLACING THE STEERING MODULE CODE C0460, REPLACED THE STEERING POSITION/ TORQUE SENSOR. SERVICE MANAGER COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE RECALL BECAUSE HE SAID IT WAS THE SAME PART BEING REPLACE ON THE OTHER RECALL VEHICLES. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONCERN. *TR

AFTER STARTING AND DRIVING, THE POWER STEERING WARNING MESSAGE DISPLAYED ON THE DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER AND A CHIME SOUNDED. THE POWER STEERING ASSIST WAS LOST AND THE VEHICLE REVERTED TO MANUAL STEERING. IT TOOK GREATER DRIVER EFFORT TO TURN THE VEHICLE AND COULD HAVE RESULTED IN A SERIOUS CRASH. ONCE THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED AND PARKED, THE POWER STEERING ASSIST RETURNED AND THE WARNING DISAPPEARED. IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THE ISSUE WITH POWER STEERING REAPPEARS. WE CONTACTED OUR LOCAL CHEVY DEALER SERVICE CENTER, AS WELL AS THE GM CHEVROLET HOTLINE AT 1-800-630-2438. BOTH ADVISED THAT THERE WAS NO CURRENT RECALL WITH OUR VEHICLE BASED ON THE VIN AND THEY REFUSED TO MAKE APPROPRIATE THE REPAIRS. PLEASE DO FURTHER RESEARCH TO EXPAND THE CURRENT RECALL BULLETIN 14116 WHICH COVERS MODEL YEARS 2004-2006 CHEVROLET MALIBU AND MALIBU MAXX TO INCLUDE OUR VIN NUMBER, OR BETTER YET, TO INCLUDE ALL MALIBUS AND MALIBU MAXXS OF ANY YEAR. CLEARLY THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THESE VEHICLES AND REPAIRS NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED ASAP TO PREVENT POTENTIALLY FATAL CRASHES. *TR
I BOUGHT THE CAR IN 2013 FROM A CHEVY DEALERSHIP IN FREDERICKTOWN MO. THEY GAVE ME A PASSED INSPECTION AND I WENT ON MY WAY. THE NEXT APRIL THE CAR DID NOT PASS INSPECTION. IT WAS ADVISED TO ME THAT THE LOWER CONTROL ARM OF THE PASSENGER SIDE WAS BAD. IT WAS OVER $400 TO FIX THAT. FOR THE PAST YEAR MY CAR HAS BEEN RIDING VERY ROUGH. IT SHAKES AND RATTLES WHEN DRIVING AND SLOWING DOWN. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS THE ROTORS, SO I CHANGED THOSE. THE ROTORS WERE REALLY BAD AND LOOKED LIKE THEY HAD BEEN ON THE CAR SINCE IT FIRST CAME OFF THE ASSEMBLY LINE. I WAS TOLD THESE HAD BEEN BAD FOR SEVERAL YEARS. ONE SIDE WAS WARPED AND THE OTHER SIDE LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN INTENTIONALLY GROUND DOWN ON THE EDGES. ON JANUARY 9TH 2015 MY TIRE BLEW OUT ON THE HIGHWAY. I WAS TOLD IT WAS BECAUSE MY LOWER CONTROL ARM HAD CAUSED THE TIRE TO WEAR ON THE INSIDE. NOT TWO WEEKS LATER, I LOST A SECOND TIRE DUE TO THE SAME ISSUE. THESE WERE BRAND NEW TIRES ON THE DATE I PURCHASED THE TIRE IN 2013. I HAVE ALSO ALREADY HAD SEVERAL RECALLS ON THIS CAR. THIS CAR IS NOT AT ALL SAFE TO DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAY. I WOULD LIKE REIMBURSEMENT FOR REPLACING THE LOWER CONTROL ARM FOR THE SECOND TIME ON THIS CAR IN TWO YEARS. *TR
I RECEIVED THIS CAR FROM MY DAD IN JANUARY OF 2014. HE WARNED ME THAT IF YOU FILL IT UP ALL THE WAY THAT THE GAS LEVEL WILL DROP FROM FULL TO EMPTY. HE SAID IT HAPPENED TO HIM AND HE HAD TO TURN OFF THE VEHICLE AND TURN IT BACK ON AND PRESS ENTER TO FIX IT. I NEVER FILLED THE CAR ALL THE WAY UP OVER THE COURSE OF THE LAST YEAR UNTIL ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO (JANUARY 2015). AFTER DOING SO, THE TANK WOULD READ FULL AND AFTER A FEW MINUTES WOULD DROP DOWN TO EMPTY. MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ALSO CAME ON. FOR THE PAST FEW WEEKS, THE GAS LEVEL WILL READ EITHER FULL OR EMPTY, NO IN BETWEEN, NO MATTER HOW MUCH GAS I PUT IN IT. I SEE THERE ARE A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE, AND I AGREE THAT THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL ON THIS MATTER. THE FIRST THING THAT HAPPENED WAS MY PASSENGER SIDE REAR DOOR JUST SUDDENLY FLEW OPEN WHILE I WAS DRIVING MY VEHICLE DOWN THE ROAD. DOORS WERE LOCKED AND ALL WERE COMPLETELY CLOSED AND THE DOOR JUST CAME OPEN FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON. HAD MY MECHANIC TAKE A LOOK AND HE COULDN'T SEE ANYTHING UNUSUAL ABOUT THE MECHANISM OR ANYTHING ON THE DOOR. IT HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES SINCE SO NOW I PUT THE SEATBELT THROUGH THE DOOR HANDLE AND PULL IT TIGHT AND LOCK SEATBELT INTO PLACE SO IF IT HAPPENS THE DOOR WON'T FLY OPEN AGAIN. THE SECOND ISSUE I AM HAVING IS WITH THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT AND ALARM COMING ON RANDOMLY WHEN I AM DRIVING MY CAR. I TOOK IT INTO THE CHEVY DEALERSHIP FOR ONE OF THE OTHER RECALLS AND THEY SAID THAT TO PUT IT ON THE TESTER, IT WOULD COST ME $120 (WHICH I CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY), SO THEY JUST LET IT BE AND FIXED THE RECALL I BROUGHT IT IN FOR. I AM STILL HAVING THE PROBLEM AND I NOTICE THAT WHEN THE WARNING LIGHT IS OFF AND I PRESS THE HORN...IT COMES ON IMMEDIATELY AND BEEPS AT ME. IS THIS A SAFETY ISSUE TO BE CONCERNED WITH? WITH ALL THE ISSUES AND RECALLS THIS CAR HAS BEEN HAVING I AM NOT SURE IF IT'S AN ISSUE TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT OR NOT OR JUST WAIT TO HEAR ON ANOTHER RECALL OR? UNIT HAS HAD CONTINUING INTERMITTENT POWER STEERING. VERY DANGEROUS AT TIMES. BULLETIN 14116 IS SUPPOSE TO COVER 2004-2006 MALIBU, BUT DEALER SAYS ITS NOT COVERED. HOW COULD A RECALL NOT BE A RECALL? WHILE DRIVING MY CAR DAYS AFTER I PURCHASED IT , SUDDENLY THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS STARTED FLASHING ON AND OFF. THIS INCLUDES GAS GAUGE, OIL LIGHT, CHECK ENGINE SOON , ABS, SPEEDOMETER , DOME LIGHT, RADIO,... ALSO SHOWED ON INSTRUMENT PANEL AN IMAGE OF A CAR AND A LOCK. ETC.. IT FLASHED ON AND OFF FOR A WHILE THEN COMPLETELY WENT OUT. SO I WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE SPEED, HOW MUCH GAS WAS IN THE TANK NO INSIDE LIGHT OR RADIO.. THE WEATHER WAS BELOW ZERO WITH A WIND CHILL FACTOR AND I ASSUMED IT HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THAT. AFTER A FEW DAYS EVERYTHING CAME BACK EXCEPT RADIO. AN ADDITIONAL COUPLE OF DAYS AND RADIO CAME BACK . THE CAR WENT IN FOR INSPECTION WITH IN 10 DAYS OF PURCHASE . NOTHING WAS SAID, ABOUT ELECTRICAL OR INSTRUMENT PANEL. NOW ON OR ABOUT JUNE 10TH THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING MORE CONTINUOUS FLASHING AND ELECTRICAL GOING OUT. IT FLASHES WHEN YOU START THE CAR AND CONTINUOUSLY FLASHES WHILE YOU DRIVE SOMETIMES JUST GOING BLANK FOR A WHILE.. THANK YOU.

I RECENTLY SENT MY CAR OVER TO GLOBAL AUTO MALL IN NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ. IT WAS THERE FOR A WEEK WITHOUT ANYONE CALLING ME INFORMING ME IF THE CAR WAS FINISHED WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO FIX THE RECALL. THE FUEL GAUGE IS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. WHEN I FILL THE CAR UP COMPLETELY WITH GAS, THE DASHBOARD INDICATOR READS ZERO AND I GET A LOW-FUEL WARNING MESSAGE. WHEN THIS PROBLEM STARTED, AFTER DRIVING 15-20 MINUTES, THE GAUGE WOULD THEN READ 'FULL' AGAIN, BUT THE 'CHECK ENGINE' LIGHT WOULD COME ON, AND DURING THIS TIME THE REMOTE START FUNCTION WOULD NOT WORK. NOW THE CAR READS EMPTY AT ALL TIMES, THE ENGINE LIGHT IS ON, AND THE REMOTE START DOES NOT WORK. THIS LED ME TO RUN OUT OF GAS. I AM WORRIED ABOUT THE CAR STALLING WHILE ON THE ROAD, AS I HAVE READ HAPPENING TO OTHER GM VEHICLE MODELS, AND I AM WORRIED ABOUT RUNNING OUT OF GAS AGAIN.
