TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING ASSIST FAILED WITH THE ILLUMINATION OF THE POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME HARD TO TURN. THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING ASSIST WAS PREVIOUSLY REPLACED HOWEVER THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER 14V047000 (AIR BAGS, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 149,000. UPDATED 05/19/14*LJ THE STEERING WHEEL POSITIONING SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.
THE FRONT END OF 2007 CHEVY MALIBU SUSPENSION PERFORMANCE IS UNACCEPTABLE. I HAD THE STRUTS REPLACED BECAUSE THE STANDARD EQUIPPED STRUTS WERE TOO WEAK. *TR
I PURCHASE THIS CAR IN 2009 IN 2010 I WAS DRIVING AND THE STEERING WHEEL LOCK UP AND THEN THERE WAS A DISPLAY ON THE RADIO POWER STEERING I DID NOT HAVE ANY POWER STEERING. SO I TAKE THE CAR TO THE DEALER TO SEE WHAT GOING ON AND THEY TOLD ME I NEEDED A POWER STEERING MOTOR AND SHAFT ON STEERING COLUMN WORN SO I ASK IS THERE A RECALL FOR THIS AND THEY SAID NO NOT ON YOUR CAR.OK SO I PAID 801.99 TO HAVE THE CAR REPAIRED SO IN DEC,2014 I WAS DRIVING TO WORK AND THE SAME THING HAPPEN AGAIN MY STEERING WHEEL LOCK UP IT WAS HARD FOR ME TO KEEP THE CAR IN THE LANE BECAUSE THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD JERK AND TO TURN WAS VERY HARD SO I CALLED GM CORPORATE OFFICE TO FILE A COMPLAINT ARE TO SEE IF THERE IS A RECALL. ONLY ON 04,05,06,08,09 BUT NOT THE 2007.BUT WHEN I GOOGLE POWER STEERING ON THE MALIBU ALL THESE CARS HAD DONE THE SAME AS MINE BUT THERE IS NO RECALL FOR 07 MALIBU. SO CORPORATE TELLS ME TO TAKE THE CAR TO THE DEALER TO GET DIAGNOSES AND NOW ITS THE TORQUE SENSOR WHICH IS STILL IN THE STEERING COLUMN GM CANT PAY FOR IT BECAUSE IT A DIFFERENT CODE THEN THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPEN I THINK IT IS VERY DANGEROUS TO BE DRIVING AND THE STEERING WHEEL LOCK UP WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL ON 2007 MALIBU POWER STEERING AND TORQUE SENSOR. *TR
I WAS DRIVING MY CAR AND THE POWER STEERING LOCK UP IT WAS HARD FOR ME TO TURN AND A DISPLAY APPEAR ON MY RADIO POWER STEERING SO I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER AND THEY DIAGNOSED IT STATING THAT THE POWER STEERING MOTOR HAD WENT OUT AND SOMETHING ABOUT THE STEERING COLUMN THE SHAFT WAS BAD THIS WAS IN 2010. AGAIN I WAS DRIVING MY CAR THIS IS IN 2014 THE SAME THING HAPPEN I TAKE THE CAR TO THE SAME DEALER AND THEY DIAGNOSE IT THIS TIME AS A TORQUE SENSORS BUT I NEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG THEY DID NOT WANT THE CODES TO BE THE SAME AS BEFORE SO THEY USED ANOTHER CODE WHICH IS THE TORQUE SENSORS. SO I TAKE THE CAR TO ANOTHER CHEVY DEALER AND THEY DIAGNOSE THE CAR AND SAID THE POWER STEERING MOTOR IS BAD AND THE STEERING COLUMN IS BAD JUST LIKE IN 2010 AND I NO THAT THIS DEALER IS RIGHT BECAUSE THE CAR DONE THE SAME THING AS IT DID IN 2014 AS IT DID IN 2010 THE FIRST DEALER WAS TRYING TO COVER UP THAT IT WAS THE SAME THING SO THEY USED DIFFERENT CODES. I TALK TO GM AND THEY AGREE WITH THE FIRST DEALER AND SAID THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO I ALSO WROTE A LETTER TO [XXX] BUT I DON'T THINK SHE GOT IT ONLY THE SEC. I THINK ITS SAD THAT THEY NO THAT THERE'S PROBLEM WITH THESE CARS THE 2007 MALIBU AND WONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH THE FUEL GAUGE DISPLAYED ZERO. SHE CONTINUED TO DRIVE TO HER DESTINATION AND LATER CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO ADVISED HER TO CALL THE DEALER AND SCHEDULE A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE DEALER ADVISED HER THAT THE FUEL SENSOR LEVEL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE DEALER ADVISED HER THAT THE FUEL SENSOR LEVEL HAD DETERIORATED AND IT WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED HER THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY; THEREFORE, SHE HAD TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 66,000.
POWER STEERING FAILURE WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. I PULLED OVER AND TURNED THE CAR OFF. IT SCARED ME. I TURNED THE CAR ON AFTER AWHILE AND IT WORKED JUST FINE. THAT WAS 2 WEEKS AGO AND NOW IT DOES IT 1 TO4 TIMES WHILE IAM DRIVING. THEY SAID IT WOULD COST 500.00 AT MY AUTO SHOP.. I CANT AFFORD THAT. AND MY PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW WONT WORK. THE STEERING GOING OUT IS A SAFETY ISSUE FOR MY FAMILY. I HAVE 3 KIDS AND I DON'T LIKE WHEN THEY ARE IN THIS CAR. I PAID 16,000.00 FOR THIS CAR. I THINK I GOT RIPPED OFF. DRIVER'S SIDE SEATBELT SHOULDER HARNESS WARNING LIGHT AND BUZZER COMES ON EVEN THOUGH THE BELT IS ENGAGED IN LOCKING MECHANISM. THIS HAS OCCURRED SEVERAL TIMES IN THE LAST WEEK. *TR

FUEL SYSTEM FAILURE - GAS HAND DOWNS AND LOW FUEL LIGHT COMES ON AND EVENTUALLY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON. THIS WAS REPAIRED IN 01/2010. AS OF JULY 2014 THIS ISSUE HAS REOCCURRED. THIS IS A ISSUE WHICH I FEEL THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL BASED ON THE NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS FILED.
YESTERDAY I NOTE THAT GM WILL BE RECALLING 1.3 MILLION VEHICLES OWING TO A PROBLEM WITH THE POWER STEERING ELECTRIC MOTOR WITH THIS RECALL BEING DRIVEN BY NHTSA. WILL THE 2007 GM MALIBU BE INCLUDED? SINCE AUGUST 2009, MY 2007 GM MALIBU SEDAN HAS DEVELOPED A "CLUNKING NOISE" COMING FROM THE STEERING COLUMN. IN SEPTEMBER, 2009 WE HAD A 'LUBE KIT' INSTALLED WHICH WAS SUPPOSE TO ELIMINATE THE CLUNKING. HOWEVER DURING NOVEMBER THE CLUNKING NOISE RETURNED AGGRAVATED BY PERIODIC ERROR MESSAGES THAT STATE THERE MAY BE A PROBLEM WITH THE ELECTRIC STEERING MOTOR. DURING SERVICING ON JAN 4, 2010 THE DEALER RECOMMENDS THAT THE "ELECTRIC MOTOR, STEERING SHAFT AND COLUMN BE REPLACED". HOWEVER UPON SEVERAL DISCUSSIONS WITH GM HEADQUARTERS IN OSHAWA, ONTO, I AM TOLD THAT " THERE IS AN UNRESOLVED DESIGN PROBLEM WITH THE MECHANISM AND ANY REPLACEMENT AT THIS TIME WILL ONLY BE TEMPORARY". ALSO "BECAUSE OF NO KNOWN SERIOUS ACCIDENTS CONTRIBUTED TO THE MECHANISM, THERE WILL BE NO RECALLS OR COVERAGE UNDER WARRANTY". UPON REVIEWING A MULTITUDE OF COMPLAINTS ON THE INTERNET (EG: WWW.CARCOMPLAINTS.COM, ETC.) I NOTE THAT THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE AND WITH SIMILAR RESPONSES FROM GM. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. WHENEVER THE CONTACT DROVE THE VEHICLE AT ANY SPEED HE NOTICED A CLANKING SOUND COMING FROM THE CENTER CONSOLE OF THE STEERING WHEEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE STEERING COLUMN NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000. CHEVY NEEDS TO WIDEN RECENT RECALL OF 1.3 MILLION COMPACT CARS TO INCLUDE THE MALIBU. I HAVE A 2007 CHEVY MALIBU THAT IS CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING ALL THE ISSUES THAT IS INCLUDED IN THE RECALL OF THE COMPACT CARS. MY VEHICLE STEERING WHEEL VIBRATES HARD IN PARK AT TIMES. ON THE ROAD, THE POWER STEERING ASSIST IS LOST AND MAKES THE VEHICLE HARD TO HOLD ON THE ROAD. THERE IS NO WARNING, THE MESSAGE CENTER DISPLAYS POWER STEERING. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP, THEY SAID THE POWER STEERING MOTOR AND STEERING COLUMN NEEDS REPLACING @ A COST OF $750.00. THIS IS A 2007 VEHICLE, THERE IS NO WAY THAT THE ENTIRE STEERING COLUMN NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. I HAVE OWNED SEVERAL OLDER CHEVY MODELS, AND NONE OF THE HAVE THIS PROBLEM. THE DEALER STATES THAT MAJORITY OF CHEVY CARS MADE AFTER 2005 HAS REQUIRED SOME TYPE OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT IN THE STEERING AREA. WHY IS THIS ISSUE BEING IGNORED BY CHEVY? *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. WHEN SHE ATTEMPTED TO MAKE A U-TURN SHE LOST POWER STEERING WITHOUT ANY PRIOR WARNINGS. SHE DROVE THE VEHICLE HOME BY MAKING RIGHT TURNS. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER, AND A TECHNICIAN CONCLUDED THAT THE RACK AND PINION FAILED. SINCE THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE REPAIR, THE ESTIMATED COST WAS $1,188.56. NO REPAIRS WERE MADE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 60,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 30 MPH WHEN THE VEHICLE STARTED TO VIBRATE FROM THE SUSPENSION. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THE TIRES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE TIRES WERE REPLACED BUT THE VIBRATION PERSISTED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A SECOND DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED THAT THE HUB ASSEMBLY NEEDED REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,600.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHENEVER THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN NEAR A WIFI CONNECTION, THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE DID EXIST BUT COULD BE REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 21,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 36,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING COLUMN MADE AN ABNORMAL NOISE AND VIBRATION WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL WAS TURNED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ABNORMAL NOISE WAS DUE TO THE STEERING SHAFT, WHICH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14E044000 (STEERING), BUT THE VIN WAS EXCLUDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 37,000.
IN JANUARY OF 2009 I PURCHASED A USED 2007 MALIBU FROM A DEALER. I CAN'T REMEMBER HOW MANY MILES WERE ON IT THEN, BUT, IT WAS UNDER 28,000 MILES. AT THE END OF MAY OF 2009 MY POWER STEERING FAILED SUDDENLY WHILE PULLING INTO A PARKING SPACE. I ALMOST HIT THE CAR IN THE NEXT SPACE. AFTER GETTING BACK IN THE CAR EVERYTHING WAS FINE FOR 2 DAYS WHEN IT FAILED AGAIN WHILE DRIVING THROUGH A TURN AROUND, CLICKING OFF THEN ON WITHIN SECONDS. I ALMOST HIT THE CAR NEXT TO ME. IT IS NOW SEPTEMBER 2009. ONLY 4 MONTHS AFTER TAKING IT IN TO A DEALERSHIP TO HAVE IT FIXED (FIXED MAY 22ND, 2009 / MILEAGE AT THE TIME WAS 31,086), MY POWER STEERING IS FAILING AGAIN. SEPTEMBER 18TH, PULLING INTO THE PARKING LOT AT MY JOB THE POWER STEERING FAILED AND ON THE 19TH, AGAIN, ON MY WAY TO WORK ON A STRAIGHT AWAY MY CAR STARTED BEEPING AT ME AND "POWER STEERING" FLASHED ON MY DISPLAY. I HAVE 35,200 MILES ON MY CAR NOW AND THE WARRANTY ENDS AT 36,000. WILL I HAVE TO REPLACE MY POWER STEERING UNIT EVERY 4 TO 5 MONTHS AND HOPE I DON'T GET INTO AN ACCIDENT? *TR

SHE ALSO MENTIONED THAT WHEN SHE STARTED THE VEHICLE IT RESPONDED AS IF THE STEERING WHEEL MALFUNCTIONED AND WHEN ACCELERATING THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST REVEALED THAT THE STEERING GEAR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 47, 000.
I KNOW THAT THIS SAFETY ISSUE DOESN'T RANK UP THERE WITH STICKING GAS PEDALS, ETC., BUT I FEEL IT IS IMPORTANT ENOUGH THAT SOMEONE SHOULD LOOK INTO IT. ACTUALLY, THERE ARE TWO INTERRELATED DESIGN FLAWS WITH THE 'DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER' ON THE 2007 CHEVY MALIBU LS I BOUGHT LAST YEAR. THE DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER ('DIC') IS THE GREEN LED DISPLAY IN THE RADIO THAT NORMALLY DISPLAYS SUCH INFO AS TIME AND TEMPERATURE, ETC., BUT IT IS ALSO USED BY CHEVY TO DISPLAY WARNING MESSAGES. THE TWO PROBLEMS ARE: A). CRITICAL WARNINGS ' IN MY CASE A WARNING MESSAGE TO 'SERVICE AIRBAG' POPPED UP ONE EVENING ON THE DIC ' BUT IT WAS ONLY DISPLAYED ONCE (IT DID NOT APPEAR AGAIN THE NEXT MORNING OR THEREAFTER). SINCE CHEVY CONSIDERED THIS ISSUE IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO SUGGEST THAT I NOT CONTINUE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE UNTIL THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED, I THINK THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE PROGRAMMED THIS WARNING (OR ANY SAFETY RELATED WARNING) TO STAY ON UNTIL THE PROBLEM IS FIXED. B). THE DIC IS FAR TOO DIM TO SEE CLEARLY DURING MOST DAYLIGHT HOURS (EVEN ON MANY CLOUDY DAYS) AND IS FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES TOTALLY INVISIBLE IF THE DRIVER IS WEARING SUNGLASSES. JUST A QUICK SEARCH ON THE INTERNET WILL SHOW THAT THIS IS NOT A RECENT OR ISOLATED COMPLAINT'.I SEE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE DIC BEING TOO DIM GOING BACK TO AT LEAST 2004! WHEN I COMPLAINED TO CHEVY ABOUT THE DIMNESS ISSUE THEY TOLD ME THIS WAS 'NORMAL' (I IN TURN TOLD THEM THAT IT MAY BE 'NORMAL' BUT IT CERTAINLY IS UNACCEPTABLE ' ESPECIALLY GIVEN THAT HAD THE CRITICAL SAFETY WARNING COME ON DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS I PROBABLY WOULD NEVER HAVE EVEN SEEN IT AND WOULD STILL BE DRIVING AROUND WITH AN UNRESOLVED SAFETY ISSUE). *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE FUEL GAUGE INACCURATELY DISPLAYS THE AMOUNT OF FUEL PRESENT IN THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS FOR THE IDENTICAL FAILURES. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO DROP THE FUEL TANK TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. NO REPAIRS WERE MADE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 59,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 84,000. THE VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER WAS UNAVAILABLE.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STARTED THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT THE POWER STEERING DID NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY WHICH MADE IT DIFFICULT TO CONTROL THE STEERING WHEEL. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 40,000.
WE OWN A 2007MALIBU LT. A CLUNK DEVELOPED IN THE STEERING COLUMN AT ABOUT 37,000 MILES. IT KEPT GETTING WORSE. THE STEERING WHEEL SHIMMIES. OUR MECHANIC LUBRICATED THE STEERING COLUMN BUT SAID WE MAY NEED THE UPDATED COLUMN. IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT OTHER CHEVY OWNERS HAVE HAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS AND CHEVY IS REFUSING TO ISSUE A RECALL. DO WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THEY START FAILING AND CAUSE ACCIDENTS BEFORE A RECALL IS ISSUED? *TR
MY 2007 CHEVY MALIBU LEAKS GAS FROM THE FUEL LINE, THAT FUEL LEAKS INTO THE CAR CREATES GAS VAPORS. I CONTACTED GM THEY SAID THAT THEY KNOW ABOUT A PROBLEM WITH THE GAS LINE RUBBING AND LEAKING GAS, HOWEVER THEY SAID THAT THERE IS NOTHING THEY COULD DO ABOUT IT DO TO MY CAR BEING A 2007 AND HAVING 43,000 MILES. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN THOSE VAPORS COULD CATCH FIRE OR EXPLODE, ALSO MAKE ME ILL WHEN I GET IN THE CAR. THIS COULD ALSO BE AN EPA ISSUE WITH THE LEAKING OF THE GAS. *TR

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL GAUGE WAS FAULTY AND WHEN ATTEMPTING TO REFUEL THE VEHICLE, THE GAS GAUGE WOULD GO TO ZERO AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT WOULD ILLUMINATE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT NORMAL OPERATION WOULD RESUME AFTER THE TANK WAS HALF EMPTY. THE DEALER ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WERE NO RELATED RECALLS TO THE FAILURE AND OFFERED NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND CONFIRMED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS FOR THE VEHICLE. NO REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 80,000 AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 68,000. UPDATED 05/26/11 *BF
MY 2007 CHEVY MALIBU GAS LINE BROKE AND LEAKED INTO THE BACK SEAT OF MY CAR SOAKING MY BACKSEAT WITH GAS AND FILLING MY CAR WITH A STRONG GAS ODOR. THIS HAPPENED ON A TRIP AFTER FILLING UP WITH GAS. *TR

ON MY 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU LTZ THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING MOTOR SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING AT ANYTIME, ONLY WAY TO GET POWER BACK TO STEERING IS TO SHUTS OFF VEHICLE AND RESTART IT, BUT ONLY WORKS FOR 5 TO 10 MINUTES AGAIN AND WILL DO THE SAME THING, ALMOST GOT INTO ACCIDENTS AT LEAST 5 TIMES WHEN SHUTS OFF WHILE STEERING, BUT DOES GO OFF ALL THE TIME. TOOK IT TO 2 CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP AND BOTH DENIED TO BE A SAFETY ISSUE COVER BY WARRANTY AND THAT I SHOULD PAY THEM $980 FOR REPAIRS. STEERING RACK WAS REPLACED TWICE BUT THE PROBLEM WAS DIAGNOSED LATER IS THE STEERING MOTOR/MODULE. I EVEN CONTACT GM AND THEY ACTED LIKE THEY COULD FIX IT FOR ME, THEY EVEN SENT ME TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP IN MY AREA FOR "PROPER DIAGNOSIS", I REMAINED THEM THAT I KNEW WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND WHAT WAS NEED IT TO REPAIR BUT THEY TOLD ME TO GO AHEAD AND DROP MY CAR WITH THEM AND LET THEM DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM, 7 DAYS LATER I GOT A CALLED FORM THE DEALER SAYING THAT THE REPAIR WILL COST ME AROUND $900 (WHICH I KNEW THAT WAS WHAT THEY CHARGE). I TOLD THEM THAT GM SENT ME TO THEM AND THEY WILL CONTACT THEM, I ASKED GM AGAIN AND THEY SAID THAT THEY RECEIVE THE WORK ORDER BUT THEY WERE SORRY BUT THEY WERE NOT GOING TO ASSIST ME WITH MY ISSUE BECAUSE VEHICLE WAS OVER WARRANTY. MY CAR IS A 2007 AND THE FIRST TIME I COMPLAINT WAS ON 2009. WHEN OFFCOURSE WARRANTY WAS STILL IN EFFECT (CAR HAS 100,000 MILES WARRANTY BUT ONLY COVERS ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION). THE ONLY REASON GM ACTED LIKE THEY WERE CONCERNED WAS BECAUSE I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB, BECAUSE I CONTACT THEM BEFORE I CONTACT THE BBB AND THEY REFUSE EVEN TO TALK ABOUT IT.
