TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN MAKING A TURN, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED. THE CONTACT WOULD HAVE TO USE EXTREME FORCE IN ORDER TO CONTROL THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.
AUTOMATIC REMOTE BEGAN TO MALFUNCTION; REPLACED BATTERIES. FAILED. BROUGHT TO DEALER AND THEY TOOK APART THE DOOR $350.00 AND NO REPAIR. STATED THEY NEEDED TO TAKE APART THE DASHBOARD AND PULL UP RUGS TO FIND WHERE THE ELECTRICAL PROBLEM WAS. ANOTHER $700.00 AND I DIDN'T HAVE IT FIXED. PROBLEM HAS WORSENED AS IT WAS AT FIRST THE DRIVER'S SIDE ONLY; NOW AFFECTING ALL LOCKS. I HAVE TO LOCK IT MANUALLY AND IT'S DIFFICULT BEING DISABLED TO REACH BACK AND LOCK OR UNLOCK THE BACK DOORS. CANNOT AFFORD REPAIR. NOW THE DIRECTIONAL LIGHTS ARE PROBLEMATIC. I HAVE TO MANUALLY SHUT OFF THE DIRECTIONALS AS THEY STICK. VERY DISAPPOINTED AS I AM THE ONLY ONE THAT DRIVES MY CAR AND IT ONLY HAS 38,800 MILES ON IT AND JUST MADE MY LAST CAR PAYMENT.
ON DEC. 11, 2014, THE CHEVROLET MALIBU WAS DRIVEN TO THE STORE. UPON RETURNING TO THE CAR, THE VEHICLE WOULD START BUT THE STEERING WHEEL WAS UNMOVABLE. CAR WAS TOWED TO THE LOCAL CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP. THE POWER STEERING CONTROL MODULE (GM PART # 22837369) WAS REPLACED AT AN OWNER COST OF $665.01 FOR PARTS AND LABOR. UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION BY THE OWNER, THERE ARE RECALLS ON THIS EXACT PART AND MODEL OF CAR (PRODUCT SAFETY #14118 AND 14119, SAFETY COMPLAINT ODI#10712564). AFTER DISCUSSING WITH THE DEALER, THE CHEVY REGIONAL REPRESENTATIVE, AND THE HEAD OFFICE IN DETROIT, THE MANUFACTURER SAYS OUR VEHICLE'S VIN IS NOT COVERED BY THE RECALL. PERIOD. END OF DISCUSSION. SEEING THAT OUR PS MODULE FAILURE IS IN THE SAME YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL AS THE RECALLED CARS; AND THAT OUR MODULE FAILED IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE RECALL DATE (AUG. 28, 2014), WE FEEL THAT THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE COST OF OUR REPAIR. THE RELATIVITY OF THE RECALL VEHICLES AND OUR VIN, PLUS THE FACT THAT OUR PS MODULE DID FAIL, SHOWS THAT OUR CAR WAS BUILT WITH A FAULTY PS MODULE AND THAT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. SINCE GM HAS STATED TO US THAT THEY WILL NOT STEP UP, WE ARE ASKING THE NHTSA TO TAKE THE NECESSARY REGULATORY STEPS TO INSURE THAT OUR CAR, AND WHO KNOWS HOW MANY OTHER MALIBUS OF SIMILAR VINTAGE, WILL GET THIS POWER STEERING MODULE REPAIRED AT GENERAL MOTORS' COST.
THE PASSENGER AIR BAG INDICATOR LIGHT SHOWS THE PASSENGER AIR BAG IS OFF WHEN THERE IS SOMEONE SITTING IN THE SEAT, SOMETIMES IT WORKS, SOMETIMES NOT. THIS IS A SAFETY ITEM AND THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL FOR THIS. *TR

THE VEHICLE RESTARTED AND THE POWER STEERING WAS DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER. THE FAILURE RECURRED TWICE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V153000 (STEERING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 160,000.

MY SON WAS DRIVING HOME FROM COLLEGE AND HIS DRIVER AND PASSENGER CURTAIN AIRBAGS AND DRIVER SEAT AIRBAGS DEPLOYED FOR NO REASON. HE DID NOT HIT ANYTHING AND NOTHING HIT HIM. HE SUSTAINED MILD INJURIES DUE TO THIS MALFUNCTION OF THE AIRBAGS. HE WILL BE GOING TO THE DOCTORS DUE TO RESIDUE IN THE EYE, A BURNING FEELING ON SIDE OF FACE, AND NECK HURTING. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR BAG SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. 1.AFTER THE ENGINE IS TURNED ON AND THE GEAR IS SHIFTED TO REVERSE AND THE CAR STARTS TO MOVE, THE WARNING LIGHTS COME ON. EITHER IT SAYS "SERVICE AIR BAGS" OR LOW TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT COMES ON. WHEN I SWITCH OFF THE IGNITION AND RESTART THE ENGINE THE WARNING LIGHTS GOES OFF AND DOES NOT COME BACK AND I AM FINE. THIS HAPPENS ALMOST EVERY DAY. MANY TIMES THE TURN SIGNAL DOES NOT SOUND THE AUDIO. IT BLINKS QUIETLY. WHEN I SWITCH OFF THE AUTO HEADLIGHT BY TWISTING THE LEVER TOWARDS ME IT DOES NOT GIVE THE CHIME. 2.WHEN I TURN ON THE IGNITION AND START THE ENGINE I HEAR A NOISE FROM THE SPEEDOMETER WHEN THE NEEDLES ARE MOVING FREELY TO THE FULL AND RETURNING TO ZERO AND SETTLING. *TR

THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V252000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL, EXTERIOR LIGHTING, SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL) AND 14V224000 (POWER TRAIN). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.

I DRIVE A CHEVROLET MALIBU 2008 WITH JUST A LITTLE OVER 56,000 MILES. I WAS SITTING AT A RED LIGHT AND ALL THE SUDDEN THERE WAS A LOUD NOISE & THE CAR VIBRATED A LITTLE. ONE OF THE FANS COMPLETELY BROKE APART AND THE PIECES FLEW INTO THE RADIATOR EMBEDDING THEM INTO THE RADIATOR. SO FROM THIS I HAD TO HAVE MY CAR TOWED TO A REPAIR FACILITY AND THEY HAD TO INSTALL A NEW RADIATOR & FAN. THE SERVICE TECH COULD NO REASON FOR THIS TO HAVE HAPPENED TO MY CAR. *TR

2008 CHEVROLET MALIBU. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO GM RECALL #13036 AND REPAIR REIMBURSEMENT. * LD
DASH LIGHTS AND PARKING LIGHTS JUST QUIT WORKING. TOOK TO MECHANIC AND THEY FOUND OUT THE BCM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *TR
FREQUENTLY THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING SYSTEM WILL FAIL. BECAUSE THIS SYSTEM IS ELECTRONIC AND NOT HYDRAULIC THE CAR CANNOT BE STEERED SAFELY AND HAS RESULTED IN EXTREMELY UNSAFE CONDITION. THE LOCAL CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP HAS VERIFIED THE FAILURE AND ADVISED ME THAT THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING SYSTEM TORQUE SENSOR IS THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. GENERAL MOTORS HAS A RECALL ON THIS FAILURE BUT IT HAS THREE DIFFERENT REPAIR PROCEDURES, THE PROCEDURES ARE PERFORMED DEPENDING ON THE BUILD DATE OF THE VEHICLE. GM DOCUMENT # 102644 ADDRESSES THE FAILURE. PROCEDURES # 14116 AND 14117 INCLUDE REPLACING THE TORQUE SENSOR. PROCEDURE # 14118 ONLY REPLACES THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING MOTOR CONTROLLER UNIT. REPAIR # 14118 IS THE REPAIR GM PERFORMED ON MY CAR BUT IT DID NOT SOLVE THE COMPLAINT. I HAVE SPENT HOURS ON THE PHONE WITH A GM CUSTOMER REP. AND SHE WILL NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE, I EVEN AGREED TO PAY FOR THE LABOR IF GM WILL COVER THE PART BUT GM REFUSED. IN SUMMARY GM HAS RECALLED MY CAR FOR THIS FAILURE. GM REPLACED A PART ON MY CAR WHEN THEY KNEW IT WAS NOT GOING TO REPAIR MY CAR. GM NOW REFUSES TO OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE TO PROPERLY REPAIR THIS SAFETY DEFECT ON MY CAR. THE DEALERSHIP IS HARVEY ELLIS MOTORS AND THEY HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL IN THE DIAGNOSIS AND ASKING GM FOR ASSISTANCE BUT GM DECLINED TO ASSIST THEM ALSO. *TR
REAR DOOR LOCKS FAIL TO FUNCTION. *TR
JUST BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE USED FROM THE DEALER. THE KEYPAD DIDN'T WORK, SO WE TRIED LOCKING IT BY THE SWITCH ON THE DOOR... STILL DIDN'T WORK. 3 OF THE DOORS WILL LOCK WHEN THE CAR IS PUT IN DRIVE. 3 (MOST OF THE TIME) WILL UNLOCK WHEN THE CAR IS MANUALLY UNLOCKED IN THE DRIVER DOOR BY THE KEY. ONE OF THE DOORS ONLY WORKS BY MANUALLY PUSHING DOWN OR PULLING UP ON THE LOCK NO MATTER WHAT. TO GET IN THE CAR WHEN THE DOORS DECIDE NOT TO UNLOCK, I HAVE TO EITHER HAVE ONE KID CLIMB IN TO UNLOCK THEM OR ROLL THE BACK WINDOWS DOWN SO THEY CAN REACH IN TO UNLOCK THEM. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. I HAVE TWO KIDS THAT COULD BE TRAPPED IN THE CAR IF WE WERE TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT AND THE DOORS WILL NOT UNLOCK BY THE BUTTON OR KEYPAD. FOR THE CAR TO BE THIS NEW, IT SHOULD NOT HAVE THIS ISSUE. THE CAR ALSO HAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE FUEL SENSOR. ON HIGHWAYS (CONTINUOUS DRIVING) YOU CAN WATCH THE GAS MEASUREMENT SLOWLY GO DOWN. AN EXAMPLE, A 1 HOUR AND 40 MINUTE TRIP LEAVING ON A FULL TANK TOOK THE GAS DOWN TO BELOW HALF A TANK. BUT WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STOPPED OR BACK IN THE CITY, THE GAS LEVEL WILL RISE BACK UP TORIGHT BELOW OR RIGHT ABOVE 3\4 TANK. IT WAS BELOW A HALF TANK ON THE HIGHWAY AND WHEN WE FILLED UP BEFORE LEAVING BACK OUT IT ONLY TOOK $10 TO GET IT BACK ON FULL. ALSO ANOTHER ISSUE THAT SHOULD NOT BE OCCURRING IN A NEWER VEHICLE. *TR

THE CONTACT RECEIVED RECALL NOTIFICATIONS FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V460000 (POWER TRAIN), NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V252000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL, EXTERIOR LIGHTING, SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL), AND NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V153000 (STEERING). THE PARTS NEEDED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHEVROLET MALIBU. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO TURN AND THE CHECK ENGINE AND ABS WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE FRONT DRIVER SEAT WAS ADJUSTED, ALL OF THE WARNING LIGHTS ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL ILLUMINATED. WHILE AT A TRAFFIC STOP, THE BRAKE WAS APPLIED BUT THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 124,169.
I STOPPED AT A GAS STATION TO PUT GAS IN MY CAR AND, WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO PUT CAR IN PARK, IT REMAINED IN DRIVE AND WOULD NOT STOP. UPON TAKING MY CAR TO THE AUTO SHOP, AT THE DEALER WHERE I PURCHASED THE CAR, THEY INDICATED TO ME THAT THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE WAS DAMAGED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. UPON FURTHER RESEARCH, THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THIS ISSUE BY GM (RECALL # 14152). HOWEVER, MY VEHICLE WAS NOT SPECIFICALLY RECALLED EVEN THOUGH I AM NOW HAVING THE EXACT ISSUE THAT HAS BEEN LISTED IN THE RECALL. THE AUTO SHOP IS SAYING THAT I WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR REPAIRS RELATED TO THIS PROBLEM. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT I SHOULD HAVE TO DO SO. *TR
WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH DOWN THE HIGHWAY IN MY 2008 CHEVY MALIBU (106,800 MILES) THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON AND INFORMATION CENTER READ "ENGINE POWER DEDUCED" AND MY CAR SLOWED TO 20 MPH ALMOST IMMEDIATELY WITH NO WARNING TO ME OR THE VEHICLES BEHIND ME. LUCKILY THERE WAS A WIDE SHOULDER AND I VEERED OFF TO AVOID BEING REAR ENDED AS I HAD MY 3 CHILD ALL IN CAR SEATS IN BACK. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP BUT AS THEY WEREN'T OPEN YET, I DID WHAT I HAD TO AS ONE OF MY CHILDREN IS A SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD AND WAS ALMOST TIME FOR HIS SEIZURE MEDICATION AND DROVE THE CAR ON TO MY MOTHER IN LAWS 4 MILES AWAY. I DROVE DOWN THE SHOULDER OF THE HIGHWAY FOR APPROXIMATELY 1 MILE TO MAKE IT TO MY MOTHER IN LAWS TURN THEN THE NEXT 3 MILES TO HER HOUSE WAS LESS CONGESTED WITH TRAFFIC LUCKILY. THE CAR HAD A SLIGHT SHAKE TO IT ALMOST AND SOMETHING SEEMED LIKE IT WAS RATTLING ALMOST UNDER THE HOOD BUT A SLOW RATTLE NOT LIKE A KNOCKING SOUND THO. AFTER THE DEALERSHIP OPENED I TOOK THE CAR TO THEM AFTER SHUTTING OFF AND RESTARTING CAR RAN NORMAL AGAIN. THEY SAID THEY COULD FIND THE ISSUE IN THE HISTORY. CHEVY TOLD US THE CAM SHAFT SOLENOID HAD INTERNAL FAILURE AND NEEDED REPLACED. WE GOT IT FIXED AND CHANGED SPARK PLUGS AND DID A SMALL TUNE UP TO MAKE SURE THAT WAS THE WHOLE ISSUE SOLVED. IT IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED WITH GM IN A RECALL I AM AFRAID BEFORE MORE LIVES ARE TAKEN DUE TO FAULTY ENGINEERING AND PARTS! PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS FURTHER! CHEVY ALSO FOUND A CRACK IN THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD THAT THEY ARE REPLACING FOR FREE ALREADY AS WELL AS MULTIPLE OTHER RECALLS WE ARE AWAITING PARTS FOR. *TR
I PURCHASED A 2008 CHEVY MALIBU ONE YEAR AGO AND HAS HAD STEERING AND ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS AFTER 2 MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THE POWER STEERING AND LACK OF CONTROL. WHEN THE CAR IS IN PARK OR DRIVING, THE STEERING WHEEL SHAKES AND MAKES LOUD NOISES. WHEN I'M DRIVING, THE WHEEL WILL JERK LEFT AND RIGHT AND FEEL "STUCK" IN CERTAIN POSITIONS. I AM TERRIFIED TO DRIVE THE CAR BECAUSE THE WHEEL WILL TURN AND STICK AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT... IT HAS TURNED AND STUCK GOING INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC ON THE STREET AND HIGHWAY. THERE IS ALSO ISSUES WITH THE CAR DOOR LOCKS GOING UP AND DOWN, AND I HAVE REPLACED THE HEADLIGHT BULB TWICE WITHIN A YEAR. I NOTICED THE TURNING LIGHT/BLINKER GOING FAST AND SLOW AND A COUPLE OF TIMES THE CAR SPEAKERS HAVE GONE IN AND OUT. MY DEALERSHIP HAS SENT ME AROUND IN CIRCLES WITH NO CARE IF THIS GETS RESOLVED. I CONTACTED GM AND I HAVE A CASE NUMBER BUT NO ONE HAS GIVEN ME A RESOLUTION OR EVEN SUGGESTED HELP BY GM OR MY DEALERSHIP. *TR

HEARD ALARM CHIME NO WARNING LIGHTS OR INFORMATION ON THE DISPLAY. CAR CONTINUES TO LOCK/UNLOCK WHILE DRIVING AND WHILE IN PARK. ALSO HAPPENS WHILE THE CAR IS PARKED AN KEYS OUT OF IGNITION?? HAS CONTINUED NOW OVER WEEK. *TR
THERE WAS NO INCIDENT. I CURRENTLY HAVE 4 RECALLS ON MY CAR AND ONLY ONE PART IS AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALLS. I GOT THE FIRST LETTER IN JUNE ABOUT POWER STEERING. I THINK THE RECALLS ARE A BIG SAFETY ISSUE FOR ME. I HAVE A 2 YR OLD SON AND NOT ABLE TO GET THE PIECES FIXED. I HAVE CALLED GM AND THE DEALERSHIP FOR OVER 2 MONTHS AND HAVEN'T GOTTEN ANY SATISFACTION. *TR

ONLY 3 OF 4 POWER LOCKS WORK, I HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE TWICE SINCE OWNING THE VEHICLE, THE FIRST TIME WHILE IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY AND WAS ABLE TO HAVE IT REPAIRED, THE SECOND WHILE NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY AND CANNOT AFFORD THE REPAIR. I EXPERIENCED THE EFFECTS OF THE BODY CONTROL MODULE RECALL ISSUES WHILE ON A ROAD TRIP TRAVELING AT 65 MPH WHEN MY CRUISE CONTROL DISENGAGED AND MY BRAKE LIGHTS WOULD NOT STAY OFF OR ON. I'VE PAID TO HAVE THIS REPAIRED AND I AM NOW AWAITING THE "OFFICIAL" RECALL NOTICE FROM CHEVROLET, DESPITE HAVING RECEIVED THE INTERIM NOTICE AND ALREADY HAVING HAD TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED, IN ORDER TO OBTAIN A REFUND OF THE NEARLY $600 REPAIR. NOW, I'M WAITING TO GET IN TO THE DEALER FOR THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING RECALL REPAIRS AND I'VE BEGUN TO EXPERIENCE ISSUES WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH AND KEY MECHANISM. INTERMITTENTLY THE VEHICLE WILL TURN EVERYTHING ON, BUT NOT TURN OVER OR START THE ENGINE. THE BATTERY IS NEW AND THIS ONLY HAPPENS SPORADICALLY. ALSO, WITH THE SAME INTERMITTENT THE KEY BECOMES STUCK IN THE IGNITION / KEY MECHANISM ON THE STEERING COLUMN AND IT WILL NOT COME OUT WITHOUT SIGNIFICANT WIGGLING AND FORCEFUL PULLING. I'VE ALSO HAD TO HAVE THE EXHAUST CONVERTER, MANIFOLD AND GASKETS REPLACED, A NEARLY $800 REPAIR. NOT TO MENTION AN EARLIER RECALL IN 2012 DEALING WITH THE SAME TRANSMISSION CABLES THAT I NOW SEE ARE BEING RECALLED ONCE AGAIN VIA YOUR SITE, HOWEVER I'VE NOT SEEN A NOTICE FROM CHEVROLET. *TR

WHILE DRIVING ON THE 101 A 5 LANE HWY, WE WERE IN THE HOV LANE. THE CAR COMPLETELY STALLED, WE HAD ALL ELECTRICAL ON THE DASH LIGHT RADIO WORKED BUT THE CAR WOULDN'T START BACK UP. PASSENGER HEADLIGHT STARTED BLINKING TURNING OFF, HIT A BUMP THEN COMES BACK ON, WE CHANGED BULB AND LIGHT WORKED FOR TWO DAYS THEN WENT OUT CAME BACK ON FOR A MOMENT THEN WENT BACK OUT. MY TRACTION LIGHT AND SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE REDUCED POWER NOTIFICATION CAME ON, THE CAR SLOWED TO ABOUT 10 MILES AN HOUR VERY SUDDENLY AND THE CAR WAS SHAKING VIOLENTLY AND ROARED UP REALLY LOUD. I WAS SURROUNDED BY TRAFFIC. IT WAS VERY SCARY. *JS
I RECEIVED A RECALL FOR MY MALIBU AND AT ABOUT THE SAME TIME MY SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT CAME ON WITH MESSAGE ON MY RADIO SCREEN, SO I WENT TO OUR GM DEALER, HE SAID PARTS WERE NOT IN FOR THE RECALL. WHEN TOLD ABOUT AIR BAGS HE SAID THEY WOULD CHECK IT OUT FOR $89.00. I CALLED GM THEY SAID TO TAKE IT BACK AND THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF COST. I WENT BACK ON 8/12/14 AND WAS TOLD $1386.00+TX FOR CODE 56 DEFECTIVE PASSENGER PRESENCE MODULE. I CALLED GM AGAIN ON 8/12/14 THEY SAID THEY WOULD PRORATE COST. I PAID $825.00 ON 8/14/14. I'M GRATEFUL THAT THEY PAID ANYTHING BUT AGAIN I'M UPSET BECAUSE MY CAR ISN'T WORTH MUCH AS A TRADE-IN ( IT'S IN GOOD SHAPE PLUS LOWER MILLAGE) BUT I WAS FORCED INTO FIXING SOMETHING THAT SHOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM. I DIDN'T DARE DRIVE IT, BECAUSE THE LIGHT ONLY CAN ON SPORADICALLY AND I SOMETIMES HAVE GRANDKIDS WITH. *TR
