POPS WHEN TURNING LEFT.
MY AIR CONDITIONER QUIT WORKING AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS A LEAK DUE TO CONDENSER. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND THIS WAS A HIGHLY COMMON ISSUE IN SIMILAR GM VEHICLES
TODAY I PURCHASED A NEW SET OF TRUCK TIRES AT DAVE STERN TIRE LOCATED IN PATERSON ,NEW JERSEY.NEAR COMPLETION THE SERVICE MANAGER INFORMED ME THAT ONE OF MY LUG NUTS SPLIT/CRACKED ON ONE SIDE ,THE CASTER COVER ON THE LUG NUT CAME OFF.I OBSERVED THAT LIKE HAS HAPPENED TO MY 2006 CHRYSLER 300 THE SAME THING AND PROBLEM-THERE IS A SAFETY HAZARD THAT THE LUG NUTS CAN CRACK AND COME OFF WHILE DRIVING . ALL OF THOSE LUG NUTS SHEERED OFF AND OR ROUNDED AND COSTED ME MONEY TO REPLACE ALL OF THEM. ON MY CHRYSLER ,LIKE NOW MY CHEVY SILVERADO I HAVE TO GO TO A CERTIFIED DEALER TO PURCHASE ALL NEW ONES,THESE LUG NUTS CANNOT BE PURCHASED IN A AUTOMOTIVE STORE DUE TO THE CERTAIN TAPPERED END TO FIT SECURELY TO KEEP THE WHEEL ON ,IN CLOSEING THIS IS A DEALER DEFECT AND NEW LUG NUTS- ARE NEED TO REPLACE THE CASTED COVERED/AND LUG NUTS THAT WAS ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT WHEN THIS TRUCK WAS PURCHASED FROM DEALER ORIGINALLY.THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD WAITING TO HAPPEN.
"TAKATA RECALL" GETTING A SHIMMY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, RECENTLY ALIGNED AND ALL TIRES BALANCED. STILL HAVING ISSUES THAT NOBODY KNOWS WHY.

WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS BEING SERVICED AT AUTO CHOICE CHEVROLET BUICK (100 E 26TH ST, BELLAIRE, OH 43906, PHONE NUMBER: (740) 676-6341) FOR A RECALL REPAIR, THE TECHNICIAN NOTICED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS LEAKING RADIATOR FLUID. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.
I HAVE A 2014 SILVERADO AND THE AC CONDENSER JUST WENT OUT. I BROUGHT IT TO A SHOP AND IT APPEARS THEY BRACKET HAS A LEAK AND THE ENTIRE CONDENSER HAS TO BE CHANGED. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND AFTER READING ALL THE OTHER COMPLAINTS ON YOUR SITE IT APPEARS HE WAS RIGHT. GM KNOWS OF THIS ISSUE AND HAS NOT PLACED A RECALL FOR THIS PART.
I WAS STOPPED ON A HEAVILY TRAVELLED ROAD, WAITING TO MAKE A LEFT-HAND TURN. THE ENGINE SUDDENLY STALLED AND I LOST MY POWER BRAKES AND STEERING WHEN THIS HAPPENED. I TOOK THE TRUCK TO THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD THAT THE AC COMPRESSOR LOCKED-UP. I BELIEVE THE COMPRESSOR LOCKING-UP CAUSED THE TRUCK TO STALL. HAD I BEEN TURNING WHEN THIS HAPPENED, A COLLISION OR WORSE COULD HAVE OCCURRED.
I'VE NOTICED MULTIPLE TIMES WHEN BACKING UP AT SLOW SPEEDS SUCH AS BACKING INTO A PARKING SPACE THAT THE BRAKES ARE VERY WEAK. I'VE HAD TO APPLY VERY HARD PRESSURE TO THE BRAKE PEDDLE TO STOP AND VERY NEARLY HIT A LIGHT POLE ONCE. IT SEEMS TO HAPPEN MORE OFTEN IN HUMID OR RAINY WEATHER. I'VE HAD THE BRAKES CHECKED, PADS AND ROTORS CHECKED OUT FINE. I ALSO SPOKE WITH ANOTHER SILVERADO OWNER WHO NOTICED THE SAME ISSUE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED, THE VEHICLE STALLED, AND THE OIL INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO BIG M CHEVROLET (704 N DIXIE BLVD, RADCLIFF, KY, 40160) ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2017 TO BE REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V414000 (STEERING, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); HOWEVER, THE REMEDY FAILED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE RECURRING FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 125,914.
TRUCK SEEMS TO HAVE AN ISSUE WHEN SHIFTING GEARS. THE TRUCK JERKS HARD WHEN IT SHIFTS RAMDONLY AT LOWER SPEEDS (5 TO 25 MPH) AND CAN SOMETIMES STARTLED YOU BECAUSE IT MAKES YOU THINK THAT YOU BEEN REAR ENDED BY ANOTHER VEHICLE. WHEN COMING TO S STOP THE TRUCK HAS A HARD TIME DECIDING WHICH GEAR TO BE ON AND AFTER YOU ARE AT A COMPLETE STOP JUST ABOUT 3 SECONDS LATER YOU FEEL A STRONG HIT COMING FROM THE BACK OF THE TRUCK MOVING THE TRUCK FORWARD ABOUT A FOOT IF YOUR NOT PRESSING ON THE BREAK REALLY HARD, THIS ALSO HAPPENS BUT WITH MORE INTENSITY AFTER THE TRUCK HAS BEEN MOVED IN REVERSE AND IT PUT IN DRIVE IT TAKES A FEW SECONDS TO ENGAGE AND YOU FEEL A STRONG JERK FORWARD WITHOUT GIVING IT GAS. LAST BUT NOT LEAST THE TRUCK SHAKES MORE THAN NORMAL WHILE IN IDLE ALMOST TO THE POINT WHERE IT FEELS LIKE ITS GOING TO SHUT OFF.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SISBARRO BUICK GMC (425 W BOUTZ RD, LAS CRUCES, NM 88005, PHONE NUMBER: (800) 215-8021) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FREON LINE HAD A HOLE COMING FROM THE CONDENSER AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE HAD A DESIGN FLAW AND WAS WAITING FOR A BRACKET THAT GOES TO THE LINE FROM THE COMPRESSOR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
THE AC CONDENSOR FAILED, AND THE AC QUIT WORKING. COST FROM DEALER IS GOING TO BE 1200.00 THE CAR IS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD
PAINT IS PEELING REALLY EASY ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PASSANGER SIDE AND A LITTLE BIT ON THE DRIVER SIDE. PAINT PEELS REALLY EASY. FOR ONLY 34,000 MILES THIS IS NOT NORMAL. DEALER SAID THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. WHEN MAKING TURNS, THE STEERING WHEEL JERKED AWAY FROM THE DRIVER. THE VEHICLE STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TURN AND THE ENTIRE INSTRUMENT PANEL ILLUMINATED. IN ADDITION, THE "POWER STEERING WAS REDUCED, DRIVE WITH CAUTION" MESSAGE APPEARED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO LANDERS CHEVROLET OF NORMAN (1221 ED NOBLE PKWY, NORMAN, OK 73072, (405) 321-7021) WHERE IT WAS KEPT FOR TWO WEEKS, BUT THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER ASKED IF THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, BUT DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. WHILE DRIVING 55-65 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TATE CHEVROLET (6441 HOLMAN RD, STOCKTON, CA 95212, (209) 475-6600), BUT THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO RETRIEVE A FAULT CODE OR DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
TAKE MY 2014 VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE ON A BROKEN PRETENSION CABLE. THIS WAS ON RECALL IN 2016. I WAS TOLD THE BROKEN CABLE WAS NOT ON RECALL. AFTER READING THE CALL INFO, I CALLED THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD I NEEDED TO CALL CHEVY CORP. CHEVY CORP SAID ITS NOT AN ISSUE. I BELIEVE THE CABLE IS BROKEN BECAUSE THE RECALL (FIX) DID NOTHING. NOW I HAVE TO PAY AND PUT A SMALL CLAIMS AGAINST CHEVY.. I TRULY BELIEVE THIS RECALL WAS NOT DONE PROPERLY AND THE CABLE WILL BREAK ON ALL SILVERADOS. I HAVE PICTURES OF THE BROKEN CABLE AND WILL HAVE THE PARTS FOR FUTURE INQUIRIES. PLEASE ADVISE WHAT I SHOULD DO NEXT.
HAD CRUISE CONTROL SET TO 75 ON THE INTERSTATE WHEN I TURN BLINKER ON TO CHANGE LANES IT CAUSE THE CRUISE TO TURN OFF AND SAYS SERVICE STABILTRAK AND STEERING ASSIST IS REDUCED DRIVE WITH CARE. THEN WHEN AND I TURN FROM A SLOW SPEED THE POWER STEERING GOES OFF FOR A SECOND THEN THE VEHICLE DIES.
DOORS WILL NOT LOCK USING THE LOCK BUTTON. LOCKS AND UNLOCK MANUALLY ONLY IF YOU ARE ABLE TO CATCH LOCK AND MANUALLY PULL IT UP TO OPEN OR PUSH IT DOWN TO LOCK. THIS OCCURS WHEN CAR IS STATIONARY OR IN MOTION WHICH MAKES IT HARD TO ENTER VEHICLE URGENTLY OR EXIT IN THE SAME MANNER (URGENTLY).
AC SYSTEM FAILURE. NO COLD AIR AS WELL AS NON EFFECTIVE WINDSHIELD DEFROSTER.

THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO SEVERAL DEALERS INCLUDING OURISMAN CHEVROLET OF BOWIE (16610 GOVERNOR BRIDGE RD, BOWIE, MD 20716, (301) 262-7600), JACK WINEGARDNER CHEVROLET (11001 INDIAN HEAD HWY, FORT WASHINGTON, MD 20744), AND OURISMAN CHEVROLET OF ROCKVILLE (807 ROCKVILLE PIKE, ROCKVILLE, MD 20852, (301) 637-6496), BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE REPLICATED AND DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS UNCERTAIN IF THE FAILURE WAS RELATED TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V614000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) PERTAINING TO THE BATTERY BEING DRAINED AND POTENTIAL CONTAMINATION OF THE CHASSIS ELECTRONIC MODULE. THE THREE DEALERS HAD NOT TEST DRIVEN THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT WAS WAITING ON A RESPONSE TO DETERMINE IF THEY COULD PROVIDE A PERMANENT REMEDY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
I EXPERIENCE SUDDEN AND POWER STEERING LOSS FOLLOWED BY A SUDDEN AND PREDICTABLE RETURN OF POWER STEERING. THE DURATION OF THE LOSS IS VARIABLE. I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR THE ISSUE AND HAVE HAD MY LOCAL CHEVROLET DEALER PERFORM WHAT THEY DEEMED AS THE NECESSARY WORK TO FIX THE ISSUE. THEY TOLD ME THE TRUCK WAS FIXED AND SENT ME ON MY WAY. THE VERY NEXT DAY THE ISSUE RETURNED, SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER STEERING AND SUDDEN RETURN OF POWER STEERING. I HAVE RETURNED THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND THE DEALER DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE TAKING THIS SERIOUS. CHEVROLET NEEDS TO DO MORE TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM.
2014 CHEVY SILVERADO EXPERIENCING STEERING TO LOCK AT LOW SPEEDS AND JERK THE STEERING WHEEL IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION AND VARIOUS ELECTRICAL MALFUNCTIONS SUCH AS DOOR LOCKS DISENGAGING, A/C TO SHUT OF, ENGINE STALL, GAUGE CLUSTER TO TURN OFF, "STABILITRACK" AND "STEERING ASSIST REDUCED". AFTER RECALL WAS PERFORMED ISSUE HAS WORSENED AND BECOME MORE DANGEROUS. STEERING WAS LOCKED AT 80MPH ON BUSY HIGHWAY, THE PREVIOUSLY STATED ELECTRIC MALFUNCTIONS CONTINUED TO HAPPEN AS WELL. ENGINE SHUT OFF OR LOST POWER MANY TIMES OVER THE COURSE OF A FEW MINUTES. ALL THE ISSUES CONTINUED TILL SHUT OFF IN BUSY TRAFFIC AND WAS TOWED TO CHEVROLET DEALER. CHEVROLET DEALER FOUND NO ISSUES AND FIXED NOTHING. GM CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID THAT THERE IS NO ISSUES TO REPORT AND VEHICLE IS NOT COVERED TO BE REPAIRED. THE LOSS OF STEERING ISSUES ARE STILL PRESENT AND IS AN EXTREME SAFETY CONCERN.

THE CONTACT CALLED A LOCAL DEALER (BILLY NAVARRE CHEVROLET CADILLAC LOCATED AT 1510 E COLLEGE ST LAKE CHARLES, LA 70607, 227-377-0601) TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS OFFERED A $100.00 VOUCHER TOWARD REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 8-3140285548. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 37,000.
SOME 2014 MODEL YEAR CHEVROLET SILVERADO LD AND GMC SIERRA LD VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 5.3L OR 6.2L ENGINES (RPO L83 OR L86), MAY HAVE A CONDITION IN WHICH THE CYCLING OF THE THERMOSTAT MAY RESULT IN STRESS FRACTURES ON THE RADIATOR, AND MAY LEAD TO COOLANT LEAKS. MY RADIATOR FAILED DUE TO THIS ISSUE AND HAD TO PAY $1100 OUT OF POCKET FOR THE PARTS AND LABOR.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO RINCON CHEVROLET (LOCATED AT 5480 GEORGIA 21, RINCON, GA 31326) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE RACK AND PINION FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V246000 (STEERING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 95,000.
POWER STEERING FAILURE CAUSED ACCIDENT, IT HAS BEEN FIVE MONTHS AND THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING
STEERING LOCKS DURING SLOW TURNS, AIR AND RADIO TURN OFF, SOMETIMES ENGINE STALLS AS WELL DURING TURN WHILE STEERING IS LOCKING AND UNLOCKING. HAPPENS AT SLOW SPEED. HAS HAPPENED TO ME MAKING A U TURN INTO TRAFFIC.
WHEN THIS HAPPENS THE LIGHTS IN DASH WILL FLICKER AND RADIO WILL KICK OFF AND IT SAYS SER SERVICE STABILITYTRAC AND IT WILL JERK THE STEERING WHEEL OUT OF YOUR HAND AND THE TRUCK WILL QUIT. THE DEALER PUT NEW BODY CONTRO MODGEL BUT DID NOT HELP IT .AFTER TRUCK QUITS IT TAKES IT AWHILE AND THEN IT DOES IT AGAIN THIS COULD HAPPEN ANYTIME.I PUT NEW ALTERNATER ON IT BUT DID NOT HELP BECAUSE U CAN WATCH VOLTAGE GAGE DROP.
PAINT "BUBBLING" WITH POSSIBLE RUST FORMING UNDER PAINT ON DRIVERS DOOR AND FRONT PASSENGER SIDE FENDER.
THE PAINT IN THE BED CAN BE PEELED OFF BY HAND
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V414000 (STEERING) IN AUGUST OF 2017. DURING THE SERVICE, THE EPS MODULE SOFTWARE WAS UPDATED PER THE RECALL REMEDY. THE VEHICLE LATER BEGAN TO EXPERIENCE POWER STEERING FAILURE WHILE DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE LOCAL DEALER (FURMAN CHEVROLET OF BRANDON, 9751 ADAMO DR, TAMPA, FL) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL FAILURES WERE DUE TO A FAULTY STEERING WHEEL SENSOR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 27,493.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 55 MPH, ALL FOUR SIDE CURTAIN AIR BAGS DEPLOYED INADVERTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL DEALER (CHEVROLET BUICK GMC CADILLAC OF MURFREESBORO LOCATED AT 960 JOHN R RICE BLVD MURFEESBORO TN 37129 , AND PHONE NUMBER: 855-448-0719). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED AN INJURY TO THE LEFT SHOULDER THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THERE WAS NO FIRE DUE TO THE CRASH. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND OPENED CASE # 8-3121521276 AND # 8-3123740955 BUT THEY DID NOT OFFER ANY FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE CONTACT HAD EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 58,000.
WHEN TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL DURING A TURN THE WHEEL WILLL JERK IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION, KILL THE ENGINE AND ALL ELECTRONICS. THIS IS MORE THAN ONE SECOND AS OUTLINED BY THE GM RECALL. THE CHEVY DEALER HAS TRIED SELLING ME A NEW BATTERY, SOLD ME $750 NEW BATTERY CABLES FOR THE FIX AND IT STILL DOESN'T WORK RIGHT. MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE THAT IS BEING DOWN PLAYED BY GM. ONE SECOND---GIVE ME A BREAK !! WHOLE [XXX] TRUCK DIES. THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES. TOOK MY TRUCK IN OCT. 2016 TO HAVE IT REPAIRED FOR STEERING WHEEL SHUDDERING AND HAVING TO FIGHT IT ON TURNS. AND THE TRUCK JUST SHUTTING DOWN. TOLD IT WAS AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM. WELL 9 MONTHS LATER DOING THE SAME THING. AFTER THE CHEVROLET DEALER SUPPOSEDLY FIXED IT. I THINK IT IS A PROBLEM WHEN YOU LOSE CONTROL OF STEERING AND YOUR TRUCK JUST STOPS ON TURNS. MY TRUCK WAS IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET.
AT 52,000 A/C SYSTEM FAILURE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER (MAUER CHEVROLET, 1055 MN-110, INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, MN, 55077) BECAUSE THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS BLOWING OUT ROOM TEMPERATE AIR. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR CONDITIONER CONDENSER WAS FRACTURED, CAUSING A REFRIGERANT LEAK. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE CONDENSER WAS COVERED UNDER THE BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY. HOWEVER, DUE TO THE REFRIGERANT LEAK, THEY WOULD NOT COVER IT UNDER THE EMISSIONS WARRANTY. BROUGHT TO DEALER 7/17/2017 AND WAS TOLD THE CONDENSER WAS LEAKING AFTER CHARGING ME $200 TO DIAGNOSE THEY TOLD ME MY WARRANTY WOULD COVER THE REPAIR BUT I HAD TO WAIT FOR THE PART TO BE REDESIGNED AND MADE AVAILABLE. TWO AND A HALF MONTHS LATER 10/02/2017 THEY HAD THE PART BUT NOW TOLD ME THAT MY WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER THE $1100 COST TO REPAIR. I DID NOT HAVE THE $1100 SINCE I WAS TOLD THE REPAIR WOULD BE COVERED. I ALSO DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THE CUSTOMERS SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR A PART/REPAIR ON A KNOWN BAD DESIGN.

THE STEERING WHEEL RIPPED OUT OF MY HANDS AND I NEARLY CRASHED HEAD ON INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. WITH ALL MY STRENGTH I TURNED THE WHEEL ENOUGH TO AVOID A HEAD ON COLLISION. AFTER I COASTED TO A STOP, I TURNED THE KEY OFF, THEN RESTARTED IT AND DROVE HOME. I TOOK IT TO A DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME THEY COULDN'T FIND A PROBLEM. FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS IT HASN'T HAPPENED AGAIN UNTIL YESTERDAY. ALL KINDS OF ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. LOSING POWER, STABILITRAC MESSAGES, DIMINISHED STEERING, LOSS OF POWER BRAKES. I PULLED INTO MY DRIVEWAY YESTERDAY AND LOST ALL POWER, MY DOOR LOCKS WENT UP AND DOWN LIKE THREE TIMES, AC SURGES, RADIO WENT ON AND OFF A FEW TIMES. I LOOKED UP THE PROBLEM ONLINE AND FOUND THAT THIS ISAME PROBLEM IS HAPPENING TO A LOT OF 2014 1500 SILVERADOS. THIS SHOULD DEFINITELY BE A RECALL ISSUE. TOTAL LOSS OF POWER WHILE DRIVING. SOMEONE IS GOING TO DIE FROM THIS ISSUE. TODAY WHEN I WAS DRIVING HOME I WAS GOING ABOUT 30 MPH IN TRAFFIC AND MY TRUCK LOST ALL POWER AGAIN, TOTAL BLACKOUT OF ALL ELECTRONICS, NO STEERING OR BRAKES, BUT THANKFULLY ALL SYSTEMS TURNED BACK ON IN A MATTER OF SECONDS AND I MADE IT HOME. AFTER LOOKING ONLINE, IT SEEMS THAT SOMEONE HAS LOCATED THE SOURCE. IT IS A FAULT AT THE "G218" GROUND POINT WHICH IS LOCATED UNDER THE FRONT LEFT DASH SPEAKER. WE HAVE A CREW CAB AND THE BACK SEAT PASSENGER AND DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELTS BECAME NONFUNCTIONAL AFTER WE HAD HAD THE VEHICLE FOR ONLY ONE YEAR. WE USED THE SEAT BELTS IN A NORMAL FASHION. IT DOES NOT SEEM REASONABLE THAT THE BELTS AND RETRACTORS WOULD BREAK AFTER NORMAL USE FOR ONE YEAR. THE FRONT SEAT BELTS WERE RECALLED AND WORKED ON, SO WE ARE WONDERING IF THE BACK SEAT BELTS SHOULD BE RECALLED ALSO.
