MY DASHBOARD KEEPS CRACKING. IT HAS BEEN REPLACED ONCE ALREADY AND IT IS CRACKING AGAIN. I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP CONCERNING THE PROBLEM AND WAS INFORMED THAT IT WOULD COST ME $1100.00 TO REPAIR THE DASHBOARD. GM SHOULD FIX THIS PROBLEM WITH THEIR VEHICLES CONCERNING THIS DEFECT.
THERE IS A CRACK ON THE DASHBOARD DRIVER SIDE RIGHT BY STEERING WHEEL ALSO PASSENGER SIDE BY THE AIRBAG
DASHBOARD IS CRACKING APART ON BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE. PARTS OF PLASTIC ARE FALLING BEHIND/UNDER THE DASH DOWN WHERE THE AIRBAGS ARE. I BELIEVE THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN AS DEPLOYING AIRBAGS WILL MOST DEFINITELY CAUSE PARTS OF THE DASH TO PROPEL THROUGH THE CAB CAUSING POSSIBLE INJURY, OR BE PUNCTURED THEMSELVES UPON DEPLOYMENT AND PROVE USELESS. MY TAHOE IS IMPECCABLY MAINTAINED AND OTHERWISE LOOKS MOSTLY NEW ON THE INTERIOR. VERY DISTURBED UPON SEARCHING THE INTERNET TO SEE HOW WIDESPREAD THE PROBLEM IS AND NO FIX/RECALL OFFERED BY GM. DEALER QUOTED REPAIR IN EXCESS OF $1,000 TO CORRECT THIS VERY APPARENT MANUFACTURER'S DEFECT. WAS NOT IN MOTION WHEN FIRST OBSERVED. WORSENS OVER TIME JUST SITTING STILL.
DASHBOARD CRACKS NEAR AIRBAG AND OVER SPEEDOMETER. I BELIEVE THIS COULD BE A SAFETY ISSUE IF AIRBAGS EMPLOY DURING ACCIDENT WITH PIECES OF DASHBOARD CAUSING INJURY.
I PURCHASED THIS TAHOE IN 2008 WITH ALMOST 13000 MILES ON IT. BEFORE THE WARRANTY EXPIRED I HAD THE DASH BOARD REPLACED BECAUSE OF THE CRACKS IN IT. NOW IT HAS CRACKS ALL OVER WHICH ARE WORSE THEN THE ORIGINAL ONE HAD. THERE ARE A LOT OF SHARP AREARS ON IT THAT CUT EASILY WHEN RUNNING A RAG OVER IT TO CLEAN IT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT WOULD BE THE RESULT IF IT WAS INVOLVED IN ANY KIND OF ACCIDENT.
NO ACCIDENT OR ANYTHING LIKE IT HAS HAPPENED. THANK GOD. THIS RECALL HAS BEEN IN EFFECT SINCE 2016 BUT WE WERE TOLD IT WAS NOT A PRIORITY TO REPLACE, SO NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT REPLACING THEM. DOES AN ACCIDENT NEED TO HAPPEN TO MAKE THE REPLACEMENT?

THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE AND THEY DID NOT KNOW WHEN THEY WOULD ARRIVE. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE VEHICLE HAS A FAULTY THROTTLE BODY AND THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR THAT CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO GO INTO "ENGINE POWER REDUCED" MODE WHICH BASICALLY MEANS THE VEHICLE DOESN'T MOVE. THE ENGINE IS STILL RUNNING, BUT THE VEHICLE IS INOPERABLE. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME DOZENS OF TIMES, IN INTERSECTIONS, AND I HAVE TO ROLL OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. ADDITIONALLY, THE INTAKE GASKETS LEAK ALLOWING FLUID INTO THE ENGINE. THE DASH CRACKED. WE HAVE ALSO REPLACED THE AIR RIDE SHOCKS (LTZ MODEL), THE CONNECTOR WILL WEAR A HOLE IN THE SHOCK. WE HAVE ALSO REPLACED BROKEN MOTOR MOUNTS AND TIE ROD ENDS. ADDITIONALLY, THE VEHICLE WAS CONSTANTLY RUNNING HOT AND WE REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT AND RADIATOR. THE VEHICLE LEAKS OIL AND OUR MECHANIC SAID THAT IT'S THE REAR MAIN SEAL THAT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.
INTERIOR DASH SPLIT DOWN THE MIDDLE AND ACROSS COMPLETELY, BREAKS AND FALLS DOWN UNDERNEATH.
MY 2007 TAHOE ALL OF THE SUDDEN STARTED SHAKING AND BUCKING WHILE DRIVING WITH MY WIFE AND TWO SMALL KIDS (ON VALENTINES! WIFE WAS NOT HAPPY). THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AS WELL AS WARNING MESSAGES SAYING THE TRACTION CONTROL FAILED, CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM AND SERVICE STABILINK SYSTEM. IT LIMPED TO OUR HOUSE AND THEN IT STALLED AND EVENTUALLY WAS VERY HARD TO START. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP NEXT MORNING AND WAS TOLD THAT THE #6 LIFTER COLLAPSED AND THEY NEEDED TO CHECK THE CAMSHAFT TO SEE IF THAT WAS DAMAGED. I'M STILL WAITING ON THE CALL TO SEE WHAT THE TOTAL DAMAGE IS BUT I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE ACTIVE FUEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. I ALSO SAW A LOT OF PEOPLE'S COMPLAINTS ONLINE OF THE SAME THING. GM NEEDS TO OWN UP AND RECALL THIS ISSUE. THE ESTIMATE I GOT WAS AROUND $3,500-$4,500 TO REPAIR THIS.
REAR END WENT OUT AT 150K. DASH CRACKED NEAR PASSENGER AIRBAG RADIO DON'T WORK IF IT'S RAINING
AFTER REMOVING THE TERMINALS IN THE BATTERY THE TRUCK DIDN'T START NO MORE ONLY SOME DASHBOARD LIGHTS ON BUT NO START.
DASH BOARD IS CRACKED IN 5 PLACES. DASH BROKE IN HALF AND BOUNCES AROUND WHILE DRIVING. THE BROKEN PIECES ARE FALLING DOWN INTO THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET TAHOE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AUTOMATIC LIFTGATE ON THE VEHICLE FAILED TO REMAIN OPEN WHEN PROMPTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 170,000.
THE DASHBOARD OF THE VEHICLE CRACKS IN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS TO INCLUDE AROUND THE AIRBAG. SHOULD HE AIRBAG DEPLOY IT WILL BE PUNCTURED BY SHARP PIECES FROM THE DASHBOARD. THIS MAKES THE VEHICLE UNSAFE AND ITHE AIRBAGS INEFFECTIVE SHOULD THE DEPLOY. THE MANUFACTURER SHOUD ISSUE A RECALL.
TAKATA RECALL: MY TRUCK HAS A 8" CRACK ON DRIVER'S DASHBOARD. WORRY THAT IT DAMAGE ALL THE ELECTRONIC INSIDE OF IT. MOVES AND CRACKS AS THE TRUCK IS MOVING. ANOTHER 3" CRACK LOCATED ON THE AIRBAG OPENING. VERY CONCERN THAT IT CAN AFFECT THE ABILITY OF THE AIRBAG. 2ND OWNER OF THE TRUCK AND BOUGHT IT JAN 2016

DASH IS CRACKED AROUND PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG WHERE AIR BAG COVER IS. POTENTIAL FOR PART OF THE DASH COMING OFF WHEN AIR BAD IS DEPLOYED.
CRACK IN THE DASH ON DRIVERS SIDE. INTERIOR DOOR HANDLES HAVE CAUSED CUTS TO HANDS. SERVICE BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM LIGHT CONTINUES TO COME ON. I HAVE HAD THE CAR SERVICED & MECHANICS CAN NOT LOCATE THE ISSUE. SEEMS TO BE AN ELECTRICAL MALFUNCTION.
MY TAHOE STILL LOOKS LIKE A NEW VEHICLE AND IS PAID FOR SO I WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE TO DRIVE IT BUT I AM SO CONCERNED WITH THE WAY THE DASH HAS CRACKED. IT STARTED ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND IS CRACKED IN 4 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. IN ONE SPOT YOU CAN LIFT THE DASH COMPLETELY OPEN. I HAVE 6 GRANDCHILDREN AND DO NOT LIKE HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT STRUCTURES IN MY VEHICLE POTENTIALLY INJURING THEM OR ANYONE ELSE THAT MAY GET INJURED FROM AN ACCIDENT WHERE THE AIR BAGS MAY BE DEPLOYED. YOU WOULD THINK THAT THE COMPANY WOULD RECALL SUCH A DEFECT BESIDES WAITING FOR A LAWSUIT FOR POSSIBLE INJURIES OR DEATH RELATED TO THIS ISSUE!!!! THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN KEPT UNDER A SHED AND DOESN'T GET DRIVEN THAT OFTEN. THE FIRST CRACKS NOTICE WERE WHEN THE CAR WAS STATIONARY!!

FUEL LEAK CAME EVERY TIME I FUEL UP, SMELL GOT INSIDE THE TRUCK , I TOOK IT IN FOR SERVICE WAS TOLD SEAL BETWEEN PUMP HOUSING AND TANK SEALS AND LINES LEAVING TANK MADE FROM PLASTIC NEEDED CHANGING LEAKING ASS WELL THERE IS RUST ON THE TOP OF THE HOUSING OF PUMP BUT NO RUST ANY WHERE ELSE ON THE TRUCK ESTIMATED COST OF REPAIR 1500.00 TECH AT DEALER SAID COMMON PROBLEM BUT NO RECALL ISSUED YET SINCE FUEL LEAK ISSUES ARE DANGEROUS AND THEY HAPPEN OUT OF THE BLUE
I WAS DRIVING AND THE ENGINE LIGHT THE TRACTION LIGHT AND THE TIRE MONITOR SYSTEM LIGHT LIT UP THEN THE SIGN SAID ENGINE POWER REDUCE AND THEN THE CAR ENGINE STARTED SHAKING REALLY BAD.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND I LOST ALL POWER AND ALL MY LIGHTS CAME ON ON MY DASH I JUST ABOUT GOT HIT FROM BEHIND

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER TO BE REPAIRED WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BCM MODULE NEEDED TO BE UPDATED ALONG WITH THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR MASTER SWITCH. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
I'VE BEEN A PROUD CHEVY OWNER FOR YEARS. BUT VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THE CRACKED DASH ISSUE IS NOT BEING RESOLVED. I HAVE A CRACK ABOVE MY STEERING WHEEL AND ABOVE MY PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG. I DON'T THINK THIS MANY COMPLAINTS ARE JUST A CONCIDENCE. I DON'T SEE HOW IT'S NOT A SAFETY ISSUE CONSIDERING IT'S CRACKING BY AIRBAGS. PLUS I THOUGHT CHEVROLET HAD A HIGHER STANDARD FOR THEIR VEHICLES. ALSO MORE CONCERNED ON MAKING THE CONSUMER HAPPY AND PROUD TO OWN A CHEVROLET. I HOPE THEY CHANGE THEIR MINDS.
CRACKED DASH.
CRACKED DASH, POTENT HAZARD OF PLASTIC DASH PIECES BECOMING AIRBORNE SHRAPNEL IN THE EVENT OF CRASH WITH AIR BAGS DEPLOY. 2007 TAHOE DASH HAD SMALL 6 INCH CRACK AT THE 2 O CLOCK POSITION ON DRIVERS SIDE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND SMALL 1 INCH CRACK ON RIGHT SIDE OF PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG. AFTER 25 MPH HEAD ON CRASH AIR BAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY BUT ADDITIONAL CRACKS HAVE APPEARED. NOW 10 X WORST. PICS WILL SHOW. DEALER DOESN'T WANT TO REPLACE NOR INSURANCE COMPANY.
THIS DASH CRACK ON 2007 CHEVY TAHOE SEEMS TO BE COMMON IN THIS YEARS SUV'S AND TRUCKS. AS SEEN ON FORUMS/YOUTUBE CONCERNING THIS DASH CRACK, IT COULD BE POSSIBLE THAT IN A COLLISION, THE CRACKED PLASTIC DASH CAN ACT AS SHRAPNEL WHEN AIRBAGS DEPLOY. PLEASE RUN SOME TESTS ON THIS AS I HAVE LITTLE ONES AND WOULDN'T WANT THEM IN HARMS WAY.
WHEN I DRIVE MY TRUCK MY STABILITY AN TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS COME ON AN MY TRUCK SLOWS DOWN WANT LET ME GO OVER 30 MPH ITS EVEN CUTS OFF SOMETIMES WHILE I AM DRIVING
THE PLASTIC DASHBORD HAS CRACKS ON THE EDGE OF THE AIRBAG UNIT AND OVER THE TOP OF THE SPEEDOMETER UNIT. THERE IS ALSO MAJOR CRACKS ON 30 TO 40 PERCENT OF THE FLAT PORTION OF THE DASH.THESE CRACKS ARE SHARP AND SEVERE. THE CRACKING STARTED AND HAS EVENTUALLY GOTTEN WORSE OVER TIME TO THE POINT OF A SAFETY CONCERN. IF THE AIRBAG IS DEPLOYED THERE IS GREAT RISK THAT THE DASH BOARD MAY COME APART AND KILL OR INJURE THE PASSENGER AND OTHERS IN THE VEHICLE. I HAVE READ HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS ON THE INTERNET IN REGARDS TO THIS SAFETY ISSUE. PLEASE INVESTIGATE TO FIND OUT IF A REPAIR OR RECALL IS NEEDED. AS AN ENGINEER I BELIEVE GM SHOULD MAKE THE REPAIR.
THE DASHBOARD AROUND THE PASSENGER AIR BAG IS ALL HAS CRACKED AND BROKEN.WITH NO REASON. IT ALSO BROKEN IN THE LEFT SIDE OF THE DASH. IT SUDDENLY HAPPENED WHILE IT WAS SMALL CRACK AND VERMIN FEW WEEKS BECOME A BIG CRACK.
WHILE DRIVING OR IDLING, VEHICLE DISPLAYS ERROR MESSAGES STATING "REDUCED ENGINE POWER", "STABILITRAK SYSTEM DISABLED" AND "SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL." THE ENGINE POWER REDUCES AND THE VEHICLE HESITATES UPON ACCELERATION. IT IS DIFFICULT TO GET THE VEHICLE TO ACCELERATE, ESPECIALLY IN LOWER GEARS. SOMETIMES THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY LOSES POWER IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING AND ALL CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE IS LOST. THIS HAS OCCURRED BOTH ON CITY STREETS AND MAJOR HIGHWAYS. PURCHASED THE VEHICLE USED ABOUT 5 MONTHS AGO AND IT BEGAN DOING THIS AT AFTER ABOUT TWO WEEKS OF OWNERSHIP. TOOK IT TO A CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THE THROTTLE BODY WAS STICKING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSE OVER THE LAST FEW WEEKS. THE VEHICLE IS NOW STALLING ON A REGULAR BASIS (ABOUT 1-3 TIMES EVERY TIME IT IS DRIVEN). THE PROBLEM IS WORSE WHEN IT RAINS A LOT OUTSIDE. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE WITH MY CHILDREN INSIDE BECAUSE I HAVE LOST POWER ON IN THE MIDDLE OF A MAJOR INTERSTATE TWICE.
USES A QUART ON OIL EVERY 1,000 MILES BUT IT IS NOT LEAKING IT.
THIS VEHICLE IS ONLY 8 YEARS OLD AND FUEL LINES, FUEL PUMP ARE RUSTED TO THE POINT OF FAILING TO SUPPORT THE PRESSURES WITHIN THE SYSTEM. OBVIOUSLY, THE TYPE OF STEEL, THICKNESS OF FUEL LINE STEEL MATERIAL IS NOT MADE IN SUCH MANNER AS TO GIVE A REASONABLE SERVICE LIFE BEFORE FAILING. THIS IS A CLEAR FAILURE OF AN IMPORTANT SYSTEM WITHIN THIS VEHICLE THAT EVERYONE RELIES ON PERFORMING TO A LEVEL OF REASONABLE TRUST. THIS FAILURE IS ONLY NOTICEABLE WHEN YOU GET A GAS LEAK UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE, TOO LATE AND ALREADY PUTTING OWNERS AT RISK OF FIRES OR VEHICLE DYING ON HIGHWAY TRAFFIC. THIS LEAK USUALLY HAPPENS VERY CLOSE TO THE GAS TANK WHICH IS MADE OF PLASTIC, SO YOU ONLY NEED A SOURCE OF IGNITION TO CAUSE GREAT DAMAGE AND / OR LOSS OF LIFE. I NOTICED THIS FUEL LEAK ON THE ROAD, WHEN I SMELLED GAS INSIDE THE CAR SO I STOPPED AT A GAS STATION TO GET GAS AND CHECKED UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED A GAS LEAK COMING FROM WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE ON TOP OF THE GAS TANK. ON FURTHER EXAMINATION, FOUND THAT THE GAS LEAK WAS COMING FROM THE FUEL PUMP SUPPLY LINE CONNECTIONS WHICH WERE RUSTED TO THE POINT OF LEAKING LIKE A FOUNTAIN. INSTALLED A NEW PUMP AND CONNECTIONS ONLY TO FIND OTHER STEEL LINES ALSO RUSTED AND ALSO LEAKING. PLEASE, THIS NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO BEFORE SOME PEOPLE UNAWARE OF THESE DEFECTS PAY DEARLY FOR SOME BIG CAR MAKER LIKE GM USING INFERIOR MATERIALS SO THEY COULD RAISE THEIR PROFIT LINE, REGARDLESS OF PEOPLE SAFETY.
DOOR HANDLES ARE PEELING AND CAUSED MY CHILD TO GET A CUT AND BLEED, LIGHTS ON INSIDE OF THE TRUCK KEEP TURNING ON AND OFF SEEM SPOKE ELECTRICAL SHORTAGE
MY DASHBOARD CRACKS AROUND THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG. I HAVE HAD 2 DASHBOARDS REPLACED ALREADY.
THE CHROME ON THE INTERIOR DOOR HANDLE IS PEELING, IS VERY SHARP AND CAUSED CUTS ON FINGERS WHEN THE DOOR WAS OPENED. THE CUTS LED TO CONTINUED BLEEDING.
AIR BAG LIGHTS CAME ON AND SENSORS NEED TO BE REPLACED I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS BEING IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND IT IS DEFECT ON GMC PART.
MY 2007 TAHOE HAS A NICE DASHBOARD COVER OVER IT. UPON REMOVAL ONE DAY, I NOTICED THAT THE DASH WAS SEVERELY CRACKED. LARGE, SHARP, AND JAGGED PIECES COMPLETELY BROKE OFF. AFTER RESEARCH I FOUND THAT THIS IS DUE TO A DEFECT IN THE DASHBOARD. SINCE THE DASHBOARD HAS NEVER EXPERIENCED AN IMPACT, IT MUST BE DUE TO THE HEAT LIKE IN THE MANY OTHER CASES. HOWEVER, I LIVE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ON THE COAST SO IT IS NOT PARTICULARLY HOT HERE. IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT THESE SHARP PIECES COULD SEVERELY INJURE A PERSON OR EVENT PUNCTURE AN AIR BAG. IN THE COURSE OF REGULAR USE A PERSON COULD BE BADLY INJURED BY THESE SHARP PIECES OR THE JAGGED SHARP EDGES OF THE HOLES IN THE DASHBOARD. I HAVE CONTACTED GM/CHEVY AND THEY SAID THAT AS OF NOW THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO TO HELP ME WITH THE $1,000 REPAIR, BUT THEY WILL LOOK INTO IT. ALSO, IF THEY DO HELP ME THEY SAID IT WOULD BE CONSIDERED "GOODWILL" AND IN DECIDING WHETHER TO HELP ME THEY WILL CONSIDER MY LOYALTY AND ASKED IF I GET MY CAR REGULARLY SERVICED AT THEIR DEALERSHIPS. I CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY THE REPAIR COST AND I AM AFRAID IF I GET IN ANY ACCIDENT THAT CAUSES THE AIRBAGS TO DEPLOY THAT THE DASHBOARD WILL FURTHER SHATTER INTO SHARP PIECES AND PUNCTURE THE AIRBAGS AND/OR INJURE MY CHILDREN AND I. I ALSO FEAR SOMEONE REACHING UP ON THE DASH AND INJURING THEMSELVES. I HAVE SEVERAL GM CARS WITH MAJOR DEFECTS THAT COULD BE SAFETY ISSUES COSTING THOUSANDS TO REPAIR. GM'S DENIAL OF THESE POTENTIAL SAFETY HAZARDS IS JUST AN ATTEMPT TO AVOID FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY. GM'S NEGLIGENCE IN DEALING WITH SAFETY HAZARDS HAS COST LOYAL CUSTOMERS THEIR LIVES RECENTLY. IT IS VERY DISAPPOINTING.
RIDING DOWN THE ROAD DOWNTOWN ATLANTA , THE SIDE ONLY ROLLOVER AIRBAGS DEPLOYED FOR NO REASON.
THE TOP OF THE POLY FUEL TANK HAS A RECESS FOR THE ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY WHICH IS GASKET MOUNTED WITHIN THE TANK. THE TWO INCH FUEL LINE CONNECTORS ATOP THE PUMP ARE METAL. DUE TO THE DESIGN OF THE POLY FUEL TANK, WATER CAN COLLECT WITHIN THE RECESS AND CAUSE THE METAL LINES TO RUST-OUT AT THE CONNECTION BENDS FOR THE POLY FUEL LINES TO ENGINE. THE SMELL OF GAS STARTS OUT AS BEING SUBTLE, HOWEVER BECOME STRONGER AS THE RUST PIN HOLES GET LARGER. THE GASOLINE LEAKAGE OCCURS WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN OPERATION. THIS IS CAN BE A MAJOR SAFETY HAZZARD IF SOMEONE THROWS A SMOKING BUTT ON THE HIGHWAY. THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL TO REPAIR THIS DESIGN
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET TAHOE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DASHBOARD WAS FRACTURED ON THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDES OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE DASHBOARD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE.
