YESTERDAY WHILE DRIVING AT A LOW SPEED, SLOWING TO A STOP, THE BRAKES FELT VERY HARD AND DIFFICULT TO PRESS TO STOP. I CONTINUED TO DRIVE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE DAY AND IT SEEMED TO STOP FINE AT HIGHER SPEEDS BUT SLOWING OUT OF DRIVEWAY OR INTO PARKING LOTS IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO STOP. EVEN AT STOP SIGNS, I HAD TO START HITTING THE BREAKS WELL AHEAD OF THE SIGN IN HOPES THAT IT ACTUALLY STOPPED BY THE TIME I GOT TO SIGN. IT SEEMED TO GET WORSE. CALLED DEALER AND LEFT MESSAGE. CALLED AGAIN AND SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS CLOSED FOR THE WEEKEND. LIKELY IT WILL NEED TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALER. I DON'T THINK IT IS SAFE TO DRIVE.
BRAKING SYSTEMS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. THE VEHICLE FAILED TO STOP WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKE PEDAL. ALL BRAKE PADS ARE GOOD; BRAKE CALIPERS ARE NEW; BRAKE FLUID IS AT MAX. I REPLACED EVERYTHING I FOUND ONLINE, BUT THE ISSUE IS THERE ON THE VEHICLE.
AT SLOW RATE OF SPEED, PULLING INTO PARKING SPOT OR IN DRIVE-THRU LINES, THE BRAKE PEDAL TAKES EFFORT TO PUSH, TICKING, CLICKING AND GRINDING SOUND AND THE BRAKE PEDAL BEGINS TO VIBRATE AND VERY HARD TO PUSH DOWN TO STOP THE VEHICLE. I SEE THIS HAS BEEN RECALLED ON OTHER VEHICLES BUT NOT MY PARTICULAR TAHOE LTZ VIN# THIS HAS BEEN AN ONGOING ISSUE SINCE SEPTEMBER 2019 AFTER THE CAR WAS PURCHASED.

I REPLACED EVERYTHING I FOUND ONLINE, BUT THE ISSUE IS THERE ON THE VEHICLE. DOME LIGHT ISSUE: THE INTERIOR DOME LIGHTS ON THE VEHICLE FLASHES CONSTANTLY WHILE DRIVING.
2015 TAHOE WITH 120000, TRANSMISSION IS SHUTTERING AND SLIPPING UNBELIEVABLE. PRETTY MUCH EVERYTIME IT SHIFTS IT DOESN'T KNOW WHAT IT WANTS TO DO. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNEXCEPTABLE
VEHICLE LOOSES POWER WHILE DRIVING FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. STARTS WITH WARNING DASH LIGHTS ACTIVING (ABS, GRADE BRAKE ASSIST) LOSS OF RADIO AND THEN THE TRUCK CUTS OFF, YET RESETS/RESTARTS ITSELF IMMEDIATELY.
THE ELECTRICAL SOFTWARE ISN'T FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. THE RADIO, ONSTAR, THE DOOR/SEAT BELT CHIMES DON'T WORK. NONE OF THE ELECTRICAL WORKS IN THE VEHICLE. I WAS DRIVING AND WHEN I PRESSED ON THE BRAKE AND TURNING, THE DOME LIGHTS START TO FLICKER MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO SEE OTHER CARS AT NIGHT. THE BACK DOORS DON'T ALWAYS LOCK WHEN LOCKING THEM.
NOT LONG AFTER I PURCHASED MY TAHOE NEW I NOTICED MOISTURE IN THE HEADLIGHTS, MORE SO ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. I HAD THE VEHICLE BROUGHT IN FOR AN AC RECALL AND THE DEALER DIDN'T NOTICE OR FIX THE PROBLEM. AFTER THE WARRANTY EXPIRED I STARTED GETTING ACCUMULATING WATER IN THE LIGHT ASSEMBLY WHICH WOULD CORRODE THE BLINKER HOLDER MAKING IT INOPERABLE. SO I EITHER HAVE TO CHANGE THE BLINKER HOLDER OR REPLACE THE ENTIRE LIGHT ASSEMBLY. I FEEL LIKE THE DEALER SHOULD HAVE NOTICED THE ISSUE WHEN IT WAS IN THE SHOP FOR THE AC RECALL.
WHEN TRYING TO BRAKE AT LOW SPEEDS THE BRAKES LOCK UP AND FEEL LIKE YOU OR PUSHING THROUGH CONCRETE. IT IS TERRIFYING WHEN YOU ARE COMING DOWN A HILL, PULLING A TRAILER, WITH YOUR KIDS IN THE CAR. THIS HAPPENS FREQUENTLY! I HAVE HAD THE BRAKES PADS AND ROTORS REPLACED WITH NO CHANGES. PRETTY FRUSTRATING WHEN YOU SPEND $50,000 ON A VEHICLE AND NO ONE CAN TELL YOU WHAT THE PROBLEM IS.
I PULLED INTO MY DRIVEWAY... THE ENGINE SPEED STARTED INCREASING AND SIMULTANEOUSLY THE BRAKE PEDAL SUNK INTO THE FLOOR AND BRAKING ABILITYWAS LOST. THIS HAPPENED ABOUT 4 FEET FROM MY GARAGE DOOR AND THIS CAUSED MY TRUCK INTO THE GARAGE DOOR. I HAVE A DRIVEWAY VIDEO OF ME ON THE PHONE AND THEN THE CAR BEING ACCELERATED THROUGH THE GARAGE DOOR.
EVEN WITH THE RECALL DONE THE BRAKES DO NOT STOP THE VEHICLE ON THE SECOND BRAKE APPLICATION IF YOU ARE AT SLOW SPEEDS. IF YOU BRAKE AT SLOW SPEEDS RELEASE THE PEDAL AND BRAKE AGAIN YOU VIRTUALLY LOSE ALL BRAKE POWER.
WHEN DRIVING AT SLOW SPEEDS (RESTAURANT DRIVE-THRU, STOP AND GO TRAFFIC) I OFTEN FIND MYSELF HAVING DIFFICULTY PUSHING THE BRAKE PEDAL, AS IT IS EXTREMELY HARD TO PUSH DOWN THE PEDAL AND THE CAR WILL NOT COME TO A STOP FOR 2-3 FEET. I FEEL A STRONG VIBRATION DURING THIS AND A LOW PITCHED CRUNCHING SOUND, AND CANNOT PUSH THE BRAKE DOWN. I AM AFRAID I WILL HAVE A COLLISION. I DID THE 2019 RECALL IN WHICH THE DEALER RECALIBRATED SOMETHING WITH THE BRAKES. BUT IT I CONTINUING TO HAVE PROBLEMS, I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP TO TEST THE VACUUM PUMP, BUT THEY SAID THE "TESTING WAS NORMAL" AND THEY WERE NOT WILLING TO DRIVE IT LONG ENOUGH TO REPLICATE THE PROBLEM I WAS HAVING, SAYING THAT IT WAS WORN ROTORS AND BRAKE PADS THAT WERE CAUSING THE ISSUE. I KNOW WHAT THE CAR FEELS LIKE WHEN THE ROTORS/PADS NEED CHANGING, AND I DO HAVE SLIGHT VIBRATION WHEN BRAKING AT HIGH SPEEDS, BUT NEVER WHERE I HAVE INCREASED BRAKE EFFORT. ONLY AT SLOW SPEEDS AND IF I AM PRESSING THE BRAKE MULTIPLE TIMES.
BRAKES DID NOT WORK. IT FELT LIKE I WAS PUSHING THROUGH CONCRETE. HAD TO SWERVE TO AVOID COLLISION. HAD TO SHIFT TO M TO SLOW VEHICLE DOWN WHILE PUSHING WITH BOTH FEET TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP.
WHEN I HIT A BUMP THE STEERING LOCKS UP FOR A QUICK SECOND AND ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS FLASH QUICKLY. THE DOORS LOCK AS WELL. IT IS USUALLY WHEN I HIT A BUMP ON THE PASSENGER SIDE AREA. VOLTAGE METER FLICKERS AND HEADLIGHTS DIM.
WHILE IN LINE AT A RESTAURANT BRAKES BECAME HARD TO PUSH ,CHATTERED AND THE VEHICLE WAS HARD TO STOP. THE VACUUM PUMP IS THE PROBLEM THERE IS A RECALL ON THIS YEAR AND MAKE BUT MINE IS NOT COVERED .NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V645 AND 20V603
LARGE FUEL LEAK COMING FROM LINE THAT RUBS BODY ABOVE GAS TANK. GAS WAS POURING OUT CAUSING A VERY HAZARDOUS CONDITION. WHEN NOTICED VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY IN A PARKING LOT. GM KNOWS THAT THERE HAVE BEEN ISSUES AS THERE IS A TSB # 17-NA-304 DATED SEPTEMBER OF 2017. A QUICK GOOGLE SEARCH REVEALS DOZENS OF LIKE REPORTS WITH ONE CAUSING A COMPLETE LOSS OF VEHICLE DUE TO FIRE. THIS IS OF MAJOR CONCERN AS LOSS OF LIFE FROM THIS ENGINEERING FAILURE IS HIGH. CHILDREN COULD BE RESTRAINED IN CAR SEATS IN REAR OF VEHICLE JUST ABOVE FUEL FOR FIRE.
The steering locks up while turning. Also grinds most of the time. The steering shaft retainer in the column fails and allows the shaft bolt to rub on the lower end of the column. Has tsb PIT5312-B. But gm will not cover this. This is a huge safety concern.
I WAS IN A LINE FOR THE CAR WASH AND MY BRAKE PEDAL GOT HARD AND I HAD TO APPLY A LOT OF PRESSURE IN ORDER TO GET THE CAR TO STOP. I WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF LINE AND GOT BACK ON THE ROAD AND THE CAR WAS BREAKING FINE BUT AS SOON AS I GOT IN TRAFFIC AND WAS AT A SLOWER SPEED THE PEDAL WOULD VIBRATE AND AGAIN THE PEDAL GOT HARD AND WAS DIFFICULT TO STOP. I MADE IT BACK TO MY WORK WHICH HAS A HILL PULLING IN, GOING DOWN THE HILL AS I PRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL IT GOT HARD AND DID THE VIBRATING THING AGAIN. I HAD MY 2015 CHEVY TAHOE TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IM CURRENTLY AWAITING A DIAGNOSTIC.
MY TAHOE SHOWED STABILITRAK ISSUES WHEN I FIRST BOUGHT IT A YEAR AGO. I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE AND TOOK IT INTO THE NEAREST DEALER. IT WAS OK FOR AWHILE BUT THE SAME PROBLEM STARTED AGAIN A MONTH AGO. THE TRUCK TURNS ON AND OFF FOR ABOUT 1 SECOND AS I'M PULLING INTO A PARKING SPACE. HOWEVER, NOW I'VE HAD ISSUES WHEN I TRY TO LOCK IT WITH THE FOB; IT DOES NOTHING. I HAVE BEEN STRANDED AT A BUSINESS BECAUSE IT WON'T TURN BACK ON AND I HAVE TO WAIT AWHILE AND TRY TO CRANK IT. IT COMES BACK ON BUT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME MORE THAN 3 TIMES. NOW, I WAS DRIVING TO WORK AND AS I PULLED INTO MY WORK GARAGE, EVERYTHING TURNED OFF COMPLETELY AND THIS TIME NOTHING CAME BACK ON. I HAD TO QUICKLY TURN THE IGNITION KEY TO THE OFF POSITION, THANKFULLY I HAD MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE AND I HAD TO TURN IT BACK ON AGAIN. I WAS WORRIED BECAUSE THIS IS IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA AND THIS IS A VERY BUSY CITY STREET IN THE MORNING HOURS. I WAS LUCKY IT TURNED BACK ON AT ALL. ANOTHER TIME, I COULD NOT START MY TRUCK WHEN I GOT OFF OF WORK AND I WAS STUCK ON THE 3RD FLOOR OF MY PARKING GARAGE. I AM CONCERNED THAT I'LL BE DRIVING AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THIS TAHOE WILL SHUT OFF WHILE I'M IN TRAFFIC. I HAVE TO TRAVEL 3 FREEWAYS TO GET TO WORK AND BACK HOME DURING HEAVY TRAFFIC, I'M WORRIED ABOUT MY SAFETY AND OTHERS AS WELL BECAUSE SINCE THIS IS AN ISSUE WHERE THE TRUCK TURNS OFF COMPLETELY, I WILL HAVE NO CONTROL ON GETTING HIT OR HITTING SOMEONE ELSE AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED (65 MPH)
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET TAHOE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PAINT ON THE ENGINE HOOD WAS PEELING OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO LOCAL DEALER CAMINO REAL CHEVROLET (2401 S ATLANTIC BLVD, MONTEREY PARK, CA 91754 (323) 264-3050) WHERE IT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 69,000.
MY A/C JUST STOP WORK ON MY 2015 CHEVY TAHOE LT AND FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS LEAKING FROM THE TOP FRONT RIGHT OF MY CONDENSER THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE CONDENSER DUE TO GM DEFECTIVE PART. IT WAS A RECALL BUT I NEVER RECEIVED ANY NOTICE
UPON RETURNING FROM WORK , MY WIFE COMPLAINED OF A STRONG ODOR OF FUEL IN AND OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. AFTER INSPECTING THE ENGINE, INTERIOR, AND EXTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE A SMALL RUNNING FUEL LEAK WAS DISCOVERED BENEATH THE VEHICLE ON THE DRIVER SIDE, IMMEDIATELY FORWARD OF THE FUEL TANK . THE LEAK LEFT A SMALL PUDDLE OF FUEL UNDER THE VEHICLE, WHICH CONTINUED TO LEAK UNTIL FUEL PRESSURE DISSIPATED 5-10 MINUTES LATER. UPON INSPECTION BY MECHANICS AT MY LOCAL GM DEALER , IT WAS FOUND THAT A HOLE WAS WORN INTO THE FUEL SUPPLY (PRESSURE) LINE DUE TO CHAFING AND RUBBING OF THE LINE AGAINST THE STRUCTURE (FRAME) OF THE VEHICLE . THIS PROBLEM OCCURRED ANY TIME THE VEHICLE WAS RUNNING, WHETHER IT WAS IN MOTION OR NOT. THE PROBLEM OCCURRED ON 10/07/2020. THE CAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM WAS DUE TO THE FUEL LINE BEING INSUFFICIENTLY PROTECTED FROM CHAFING AND VIBRATION. THE NEW FUEL LINE CAME WITH A SLEEVE PROTECTING THE AFFECTED AREA. THIS APPEARS TO BE AN ENGINEERING DEFICIENCY ON 2015 CHEVROLET TAHOE MODELS.
"Service Trailer Brake System" warning illuminates on dash repeatedly while truck is running. This warning is extremely distracting to the driver, as it does not cease. It indicates an issue with the trailer brake system, which makes it unsafe to tow anything.
MY VEHICLE STARTED LEAKING GAS WHILE IT WAS TURNED ON WHILE IT WAS MOVING AND STATIONARY. A MECHANIC FOUND THAT THE FUEL LINE DEVELOPED A PIN SIZED HOLE AS THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM. AFTER SOME ONLINE RESEARCH I FOUND THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM FOR MANY WITH MY VEHICLE.
OUR DOME LIGHTS FLICKER WHEN BREAK IS PUSHED, I'VE SEEN MANY HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE,
MY 2015 TAHOE LTZ HAS A VERY ROUGH RIDE, IT BOUNCES AND NOW THERE IS A NOISE IN THE FRONT END WHILE IN MOTION, AND AFTER HAVING A DIAGNOSTIC IT HAS BEEN FOUND THAT MY RIGHT STRUT HAS LEAKED FLUID AND HAS TO BE REPLACED. I FIND IT FUNNY THAT THIS IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE VEHICLE I HAVE EVER PURCHASED, AND IT HAS BEEN IN FOR RECALLS MORE THAN ANY OTHER VEHICLE I EVER OWNED. YOU PAY SOMEWHERE IN THE SUM OF $63,000 FOR A LUXURY VEHICLE, YOU EXPECT MORE FROM CHEVY THAN NOT TO HAVE THE PROBLEMS I HAVE HAD. IT JUST DOESN'T SEEM FAIR.
I HAD STRONG SMELL OF GAS ONE NIGHT AND MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS MAYBE MAY GAS CANS BUT AFTER PUT THEM OUTSIDE THE SMELL CONTINUES, SO THEN I NOTICE SOME START DELAY ON MY 2015 TAHOE AND PUT THE 2 TOGETHER I KNEW I HAD SOME FUEL LEAK (VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION INSIDE MY GARAGE WITH ALL MY FAMILY SLEEPING) I TOOK THE TRUCK TO THE SHOP AND THEY FOUND THE LEAK ON GAS PRESSURE LINE. REPLACE AND DONE $437 AFTER 2 DAYS.
FUEL STARTS LEAKING FROM GAS TANK ABOUT 2 MINUTES INTO THE CAR GETS TURNED ON
THE SHOCKS/STRUTS BEGAN LEAKING AND ARE FAULTY. THEY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE COST OF THE REPAIR WAS OVER $3,000 BECAUSE THEY ARE A SPECIAL TYPE. THE GARAGE THAT DID THE WORK SAID HE TALKED TO OTHER DEALERS/GARAGES AND THOSE ARE WELL KNOWN FOR GOING BAD ON THE 2015 TAHOE. A $70,000 VEHICLE SHOULD NOT NEED SHOCKS/STRUTS REPLACED WITHIN 5 YEARS. AND THIS VEHICLE HAS 15 RECALLS ALREADY. CAN'T THIS BE CLASSIFIED AS A LEMON OR SOMETHING? THIS IS RIDICULOUS. AND WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY TO GET ALL THIS STUFF FIXED. THANK YOU.
CAR HAS A FUEL LEAK WHEN CAR IS TURN ON PARK AND MOTION. BUT DOES NOT LEAK FUEL WHEN OFF
FUEL LINE ABOVE GAS TANK WORE A HOLE SPRAYING A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF GAS AROUND REAR EXHAUST AND BRAKE ROTORS. THE HOLE IN THE FUEL LINE WAS DUE TO NOT BEING PROPERLY PROTECTED FROM NORMAL WEAR AND VIBRATION WHERE IT MADE CONTACT WITH THE GAS TANK ASSEMBLY AND VEHICLE FRAME. THE HOLE OCCURRED AFTER VERY NORMAL USE OF THE VEHICLE AT AROUND 81,000 MILES. THE CAR HAS BEEN USED 99% OF TIME ON CITY STREETS AND HIGHWAYS.
TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIP AND THEY DID A RECALL ON THE BRAKES. I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND LOST ALL BREAKS ALMOST CAUSING A MAJOR ACCIDENT. BREAK LIGHT CAME ON. VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION AND WOULD NOT STOP, I HAD TO SLOW THE TRUCK WITH EMERGENCY BRAKE AND DOWNSHIFTING THE TRANSMISSION TO AVOID A COLLISION WITH A DUMP TRUCK.
WHILE OUT DRIVNG OTHER VEHICLES WAVED ME DOWN TO INFORM ME VEHICLE WAS LEAKING MASSAVE AMOUNTS OF FUEL. I PULLED OVER TO SEE FUEL LEAKING UNDER VEHICLE. THE SMELL WAS STRONG AND IT WAS POURING OUT AT A DECENT RATE.
IT'S RIDES LIKE A HORSE BUGGY VERY ROUGH FEEL EVER BUMPS IN THE ROAD HADN'T HAD IT LONG ROAD GOOD WHEN WE BOUGHT IT . SOMETIMES THE BRAKES SEEN TO BE SLUGGISH ,ALL THIS HAPPEN ON A TRIP TO THE MOUNTAINS
I DECIDED TO TAKE A DAY TRIP UP TO LAKE TAHOE- FROM FOLSOM CALIFORNIA. IT'S ABOUT 88 MILES AWAY. WE MADE IT TO THE TOP OF THE SUMMIT AND ON THE WAY DOWN MY BRAKES STOPPED WORKING. IT WAS AS HARD AS ROCK. I COULDN'T PUSH DOWN ON THE BRAKE PEDAL AT ALL!! IT WAS SO SCARY. AS THE PEOPLE IN FRONT OF ME WOULD BRAKE I HAD TO USE MY PARKING BRAKE TO SLOW IS DOWN. MY ONLY OPTION WAS TO CRASH INTO THE PERSON IN FRONT OF ME TO STOP US OR USE THE GUARD RAIL AND POSSIBLY GO OVER THE SIDE OF A CLIFF!! MY CAR WAS LOADED WITH 5 CHILDREN AND 2 ADULTS. WE WERE ALL TERRIFIED. I HAD NO INDICATION AS THE DRIVER THAT ANYTHING WAS WRONG WITH MY BRAKES UNTIL THAT MOMENT. THERE WEREN'T ANY LIGHTS OR WARNINGS THAT SOMETHING WASN'T WORKING PROPERLY. MY HOPES IS TO REPORT THIS AND NOT LET IT HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE.
THE FUEL IS LEAKING FROM THE TOP OF THE FUEL TANK. IT ONLY LEAKS IF THE VEHICLE IS RUNNING. THIS AN OBVIOUS SAFETY HAZARD AS THE LEAKING GAS IS NEAR THE HOT EXHAUST AND ELECTRICAL WIRES.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET TAHOE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNDISCLOSED SPEED, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO BOUNCE AND WAS UNABLE TO BE DRIVEN SAFELY. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MARTHALER CHEVROLET OF WORTHINGTON (1627 OXFORD ST, WORTHINGTON, MN 56187), TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE SHOCKS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 77,000.
DURING A LOW SPEED LEFT TURN ACROSS ONCOMING LANES OF TRAFFIC, MY 2015 TAHOE HAD A COMPLETE LOSS OF ALL POWER AND STOPPED RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC. LUCKILY ONCOMING TRAFFIC WAS AT A DISTANCE THAT THEY WERE ABLE TO NOTICE MY TAHOE HAD DIED BLOCKING THEIR LANES, AND THEY CORRECTED THEIR PATH TO GO AROUND. AFTER INVESTIGATING ON THE INTERNET I LOCATED POST SAYING THIS ISSUE HAS AFFECTED OVER 1 MILLION OTHER 2015 TAHOES.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the front-end alignment was performed however, the failure recurred. The dealer was made aware of the recurring failure and informed the contact to replace the tires. The vehicle was taken to another dealer where the tires were replaced however, the failure persisted. THEY HAVE BOTH SAID THEY CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. I WENT TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP TO TRY TO TRADE THE VEHICLE AND THEY WON'T TAKE IT BECAUSE THEY CLAIM THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE TRANSMISSION. I HAVE TAKEN IT IN FOUR TIMES FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH CHEVY MYLINK INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM IN WHICH CONTROLS CAN BE ACCESS VIA TOUCHSCREEN AND BUTTONS ON THE CENTER CONSOLE. SYSTEM RAMDOMLY AND ERRATICALLY CHANGES SETTINGS SUCH AS RADIO STATIONS, BLUETOOTH SETTINGS, LANGUAGE SETTINGS, MEDIA SETTINGS, NAVIGATION AND SCREEN WOULD FREEZE WHICH MAKES SYSTEM UNRESPONSIVE TO CONTROL BUTTONS WHEN PRESSED. THIS ISSUE WAS BROUGHT TO LOCAL DEALER'S ATTENTION AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE COMPUTER BOARD NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND SINCE THE WARRANTY IS OUT, THEN OWNER WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE HEFTY $1000 PLUS PARTS AND LABOR COST. THIS ISSUE HAS STATED AFFECTING VEHICLE SEVERAL MONTHS BEFORE WARRANTY HAVE EXPIRED BUT ISSUE HAS PROGRESSIVELY WORSEN SINCE. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE ESPECIALLY DURING OPERATION OF VEHICLE BECAUSE IT CAUSES A LOT OF DISRTRACTIONS AND OPERATOR CAN EASILY LOSE FOCUS AND CONTROL IN AN ATTEMP TO TROUBLESHOOT THE ISSUE. ALSO, THERE IS NO OPTION TO POWER OFF THE SYSTEM WHILE IN OPERATION OR WHEN THE IGNITION IS ON.
TAHOE IS USED TO COMMUTE TO OWNER'S PROFESSION ROUGHLY 20 MILES EVERY WEEK DAY. ONE DAY AFTER DRIVING HOME, TAHOE HAD STRONG FUEL ODOR WHILE SITTING IN OWNER'S GARAGE. IT WOULD THEN ALSO HAVE SIMILAR ODOR WHEN INITIALLY STARTING THE CAR. BROUGHT THE TAHOE TO BLASIUS CHEVROLET IN WATERBURY, CT. TAHOE IS UNDER 60,000 MILES AND STILL UNDER POWERTRAIN WARRANTY. THEY STATED THAT "FUEL LINE CHEWED THREW BUY (SIC) MOUSE." OWNER ASKED FOR A PICTURE OF THE PINHOLE LEAK CAUSE BY THE MOUSE. IMAGE (WHICH IS ATTACHED) ILLUSTRATES DAMAGE THAT COULD NOT POSSIBLY BE CAUSED BY AN ANIMAL. IT IS SMOOTHLY RUBBED DOWN AND SHOWS NO CHEW MARKS AND IS IN ONE SPECIFIC SPOT. DEALER REFUSED TO USE WARRANTY TO COVER THE REPAIR, EVEN THOUGH ITS NOT NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, COULD NOT HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY AN ANIMAL AND NOT RELATED TO ANYTHING DONE TO THE CAR BY OWNER. ONLY WORK THAT HAS BEEN COMPLETED ON THE TAHOE HAS BEEN BY THE DEALERSHIP. THIS SEEMS TO BE A RECURRING ISSUE WITH 2015 TAHOES AROUND THE 60K MILES MARK. THE FUEL LINE IS WORN DOWN BY RUBBING AGAINST SOMETHING NEAR THE FUEL TANK. THIS IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND EXPENSIVE REPAIR THAT SHOULD NOT BE COVERED BY THE CONSUMER CONSIDERING A FUEL LINE IS NOT A PART THAT SHOULD "GET WORN DOWN" OVER TIME. Brake pedal becomes very difficult to press and has nearly caused an accident on numerous occasions. Recall has been issued for other year models of Tahoes as well, but not 2015 yet.
UNABLE TO BRAKE. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO SLOW DOWN MY BRAKES ARE MAKING MY VEHICLE UNABLE TO STOP PROPERLY. TOOK MY TAHOE TO CHEVY DEALERSHIP AND THEY WERE ABLE TO FIX IS. THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE THEN END OF LAST YEAR. SO I?VE BEEN VERY LIMITED TO BEING ABLE TO DRIVE. ON APRIL 9TH I WENT TO DO A CURBSIDE GROCERY PICK UP WITH MY 1 YEAR OLD AND 3 YEAR OLD WHILE LEAVING THE GROCERY STORE MY BRAKES WENT OUT. I WAS ABLE TO PUMP MY PEDALS TURNED HARD MAKING IT U ABLE TO BRAKE I FORCED MY LEG TO PUSH DOWN ENOUGH TO PUT IT ON PARK AND TURN MY TAHOE OFF. I WAITED 10 MIN TO ATTEMPT TO LEAVE TO THE GROCERY STORE AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN. I CALLED MY HUSBAND FOR HELP HE ARRIVED CHANGED OUT THE CAR SEATS AND ATTEMPTED TO DRIVE HIM SLOW. AS WE WERE ARRIVING BACK HOME THE BRAKES WENT OUT AGAIN INSIDE THE GARAGE AT OUR HOME. TAHOE IS AT THE DEALERSHIP GETTING THE BRAKES FIX SO I HOPE EVERYTHING IS BACK TO NORMAL AFTER IT BEING FIX. *TR
I HAVE A 2015 TAHOE THAT LOOSES BREAK PRESSURE AT IDLE RPM IN DRIVE, ONCE YOU RAISE THE RPMS THE BRAKE PRESSURE WILL COME BACK. WE HAVE ALMOST HIT MULTIPLE VEHICLES WHEN TRYING TO STOP IN A PARKING SPOT OR IN LINE AT DRIVE THRU'S.
