IN A DRIVE THRU, PRESSED BRAKE DOWN AND THE PEDAL WAS ROCK HARD. THE TAHOE DIDN'T STOP FOR AN EXTRA 3', WHICH ALMOST CAUSED ME TO RUN INTO A CHIK FIL A WORKER! HE WALKED TO MY WINDOW MAD, AND I TOLD HIM THE BRAKES AREN'T WORKING AND TO MOVE THE CONES SO I COULD GET OUT OF THE DRIVE THRU. HE DID. I PUMPED THE BRAKE PEDDLE AND THEY WORKED ENOUGH FOR ME TO LIMP IT TO A MECHANIC RIGHT NEAR THERE. HE DIAGNOSED A VACUUM PUMP AND CHARGED MY EMPLOYER, LBB ASSOCIATES INC IN COLUMBIA MD $524 TO REPAIR
WHEN APPLIED TE BRAKE PEDAL SOME TIME FEELS HARD AND THE PEDAL GOES TO THE FLOOR ( THAT IS IN LOW RPM WHEN I'M GOING TO PARK THE VEHICLE) ALSO WHEN I'M GOING TO PARKING IN REVERSE FEELS MORE NOISE AND WON'T STOP TOTALLY EVEN WITH THE BRAKE PEDAL ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. THANK YOU.
MY 2015 CHEVROLET TAHOE LTZ'S HEADLIGHTS HAVE DEVELOPED CONDENSATION INSIDE OF THEM. THE DRIVER SIDE LIGHT HAS AN INCH OF STANDING WATER IN IT AND NOW THE TURN SIGNAL AND LED RUNNING LIGHT NO LONGER WORK ON THAT SIDE. CHEVROLET SAID IT WILL COST OVER $2,000 TO REPLACE BOTH HEADLIGHTS. I KNOW SEVERAL OTHER TAHOE OWNERS THAT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AND OUR LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT HAS ALSO HAD TO REPLACE HEADLIGHTS IN SEVERAL OF THEIR PATROL TAHOES. CHEVY NEEDS TO ISSUE A RECALL ON THEIR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT!!!
WE OWN A 2015 CHEVROLET TAHOE LTZ AND AT 85,000 WE HAD TO REPLACE BOTH THE FRONT AND REAR SHOCKS DUE TO TOTAL FAILURE. WE PAID A TOTAL OF $3,200 FOR THESE REPAIRS, AS THIS WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE POWER TRAIN COVERAGE OR OUR EXTENDED WARRANTY. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE BY GENERAL MOTORS. A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN IS NOT SUFFICIENT. GM SHOULD ISSUE A RECALL, AS WELL AS PROVIDE COMPENSATION TO THOSE WHO HAVE HAD TO COVER THIS EXPENSE DUE TO GM'S VERY POORLY DESIGNED SUSPENSION SYSTEM.
THE FRONT LEFT HEADLIGHT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION BUT FILLS WITH CONDENSATION UPON WASHING THE VEHICLE AND DURING RAIN STORMS. WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT UNDER THESE CONDITIONS VISIBILITY IS POOR. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD AND NEEDS TO BE RECTIFIED BY GM WITH A SAFETY RECALL.
The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated while driving at undisclosed speeds, the contact noticed that while activating the turn signals, the lights were blinking continuously with an unknown warning light illuminated. The contact parked the vehicle noticed a lot of moisture and condensation in the lower half of the driver’s and passenger’s side headlights and turn signals. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who inspected the vehicle and attempted to replace the bulbs for the front turn signals lamps however, the failure reoccurred. The contact took the vehicle back to the independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the headlight assemblies needed to be replaced. Additionally, there was rust in the plug for the turn signals due to condensation. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 54,000. Consumer stated light bulbs have been replaced 3 times in 1.5 years.
THE 2ND ROW DVD SCREEN WENT BLACK. I PAID TOO MUCH MONEY AND CONTINUOUSLY DRIVE GMC VEHICLES TO DEAL WITH THIS PROBLEM I HARDLY USE IT AN THIS HAS HAPPENED TO LOTS OF PEOPLE. IF YOUR PAYING THIS MUCH FOR A CAR, TRUCK, ETC IT SHOULD BE WORTH IT NOT A PIECE OF JUNK.
I 2019 AROUND MARCH TO MAY I TOOK MY CAR TO THE CHEVROLET PLACE IN CLAXTON, GA DUE TO MY BRAKES NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND SHOWING "BRAKE ASSIST" MESSAGE. THEY HAD MY CAR IN THEIR SHOP FIVE TIMES FOR THIS MATTER. FIRST THREE TIMES THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING, FOURTH TIME THEY REPLACED THE WRONG PART AND COST ME ALMOST $500. FIFTH TIME THEY REPLACED IN UNDER THE RECALL THAT WAS OUT THEN. NOW, FEB 2020 MY CAR HAS BRAKE ISSUES AGAIN. THIS TIME MY CAR IS SHOWING "STABILITRAK" AND "BRAKE ASSIST". THEY ARE WANTING TO REPAIR A HUB, A MODULE AND STRUTS AND SAYING THAT THIS IS ALSO DUE TO A "SIDE DETECTION SYSTEM". MY STRUTS WERE RELATED LAST YEAR BEFORE THE PREVIOUS BRAKE REPAIR. I HAVE DONE MY RESEARCH ONLINE AND SEEN THAT MANY VEHICLES FROM MANY YEAR MAKES HAVE HAD THESE ISSUES WITH THEIR VEHICLE AND GM IS AVOIDING THE ISSUE. I HAVE TWO SMALL CHILDREN THAT RIDE IN THIS CAR AND ONE WAS IN THE CAR WITH ME WHEN MY BRAKES DIDN'T WORK PROPERLY THIS PAST ISSUE. MY CAR WAS NOW BEEN IN THE SHOP FOR BRAKE ISSUES 6 TIMES AND THIS SIDE DETECTION ISSUE I THINK NEEDS TONE LOOKED INTO FURTHER BEING SO MANY CUSTOMERS ARE HAVING ISSUES WITH THIS.
LOUD POPPING NOISE FROM CENTER OF STEERING WHEEL. REPAIRED TWICE ALREADY. PROBLEM KEEPS COMING BACK. STEERING IS VERY HARD AT TIMES. ESPECIALLY AT LOWER SPEEDS. IT FEELS LIKE A 65 CHEVY TRUCK WITH NO POWER STEERING. IT'S SCARY AT TIMES.
WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION, AND THE INTERIOR DOME LIGHTS ARE OFF, I PRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL, AND THE DOME LIGHTS FLICKER VERY INTENSELY FOR A HALF-SECOND. THIS FLICKERING ALSO HAPPENS WHEN THE LEFT TURN SIGNAL IS ACTIVATED. IT IS A VERY BRIGHT FLICKER AND COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT DUE TO MOMENTARY DISTRACTION OR LIGHT-BLINDING.

THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HAMILTON CHEVROLET LOCATED AT (5800 E 14 MILE RD, WARREN, MI 48092) TO RECEIVE THE REMEDY FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V645000(SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC) HOWEVER, AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED THE CONTACT EXPERIENCED THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE REQUIRED AN EXTENDED BRAKING DISTANCE WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VACUUM PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 176,000.
SUNROOF SHATTERED WITHOUT WARNING OR ANY APPARENT IMPACT FROM OUTSIDE SOURCE. DRIVING ON CLEAR HIGHWAY, 55 MPH
SINCE PURCHASING MY VEHICLE IN 2016 I HAVE HAD MULTIPLE ISSUES. I HAVE ALWAYS NOTICED A DRIP OF OIL IN MY GARAGE THAT WASN'T CONSISTENT AND WHEN TELLING MY DEALERSHIP ABOUT IT THEY STATED THEY WOULD LOOK INTO IT AND FOUND NOTHING. I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND THE SIDE DOOR BLACK FASCIA FLEW OFF, THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED 3 STATING IT WAS STILL UNDER THE 34K WARRANTY. I HAD REQUESTED THEY REPLACE/SECURE THE 4TH AND WAS TOLD IT WAS FINE AND DIDN'T NEED REPLACING. I RETURNED FOR AN OIL CHANGE ABOUT 6 MONTHS LATER AND REPORTED THE ONE THAT WAS NOT REPLACED IS NOW LOOSE AND WAS TOLD BY THE DEALERSHIP I WAS OUT OF MY WARRANTY PERIOD AND WOULD BE CHARGED AN HOUR LABOR AS WELL AS PARTS, COSTING ROUGHLY $120.00. I THEN HAD MY AC GO OUT IN SUMMER OF 2019 AND HAD THAT REPLACED SUPPOSEDLY A RECALL. WHEN I TOOK MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR AN OIL CHANGE IN FALL 2019 I MENTIONED MY CAR WAS NOT STOPPING PROPERLY WHILE BRAKING AND THEY INFORMED ME THERE WAS A CURRENT RECALL THAT WOULD FIX THE ISSUE AND THAT WAS PERFORMED. I WAS STILL NOTICING THE BRAKING ISSUES. IN NOV.2019 I STARTED TO EXPERIENCE MISFIRING WITH THE TRANSMISSION AND NOT SHIFTING CORRECTLY. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE DEALERSHIP AND ON THE WAY TO THE DEALERSHIP IT WORSENED AND I HAD TO GET IT TOWED. I WAS INFORMED I WOULD NOT GET A LOANER CAR AS ALL OF THEIRS WERE OUT TO PEOPLE WITH PARTS REQUIRED WITHOUT AN ETA FROM GM. I WAS CALLED 4 DAYS LATER AS I HAD NOT HEARD BACK AND WAS TOLD MY CAR NEEDED A REPLACEMENT TRANSMISSION AS WELL AS A NEW VACUUM PUMP AS THIS HAD FAILED AND IS THE REASON FOR THE HARD BRAKING. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED AND I WAS TOLD TO PICK UP MY VEHICLE BECAUSE THE VACUUM PUMP IS ON BACK-ORDER WITHOUT AN ETA AND "I STILL HAVE MY ABS THAT WILL ASSIST WITH STOPPING".
MY VEHICLE RANDOMLY SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING, BACKING UP, SND PARKING. WHEN THIS HAPPENS ALL POWER IS LOST AND UNABLE TO HAVE CAUTION LIGHTS ON AND TURN BACK ON FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR. DEALERSHIP IS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE BUT WHEN I DRIVE THE VEHICLE HOME IT SHUTS OFF.

THE DRIVER CRASHED INTO THE VEHICLE IN FRONT. NO AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED IN THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE HOWEVER, INJURIES OF THE OTHER VEHICLE OCCUPANTS WERE UNKNOWN. A POLICE REPORT WAS MADE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A COLLISION CENTER FOR PHYSICAL REPAIRS AND WAS NOTIFIED THAT THE BRAKES WERE FAILING WHEN DEPRESSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT NO RECALL WAS UNDER THE VIN. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V645000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC), THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR SERVICE HOWEVER A FAILURE OCCURRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 41,030.
WHEN REVERSING MY BRAKES STALL TO WORK. MY TRUCK WILL IT STOP AND HAVE A ALMOST CRASHED. MOVING FORWARD THRU A DRIVE THRU THE TRUCK DOESN'T STOP EITHER.*DT CONSUMER STATED WHEN REVERSING, BRAKES STALL TO WORK AND CONSUMER ALMOST GOT IN A CAR ACCIDENT. CONSUMER FELT VEHICLE STARTED FAILING WHEN THEY TOOK IT IN FOR A RECALL ON THE ANTILOCK BRAKES. VEHICLE NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY, VEHICLE CANNOT BE CHECKED WITHOUT PAYING UPFRONT. IN MOVING UP SLOWLY THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU BEHIND CARS, THE BRAKES SEEM TO FAIL WHEN CONSUMER STEPS ON THE BRAKES AND ALMOST HITS THE CARS IN THE REAR BUMPER.*JB
ATTEMPTING TO BACK DOWN A HILL A SLOW SPEED LOST ALL BRAKES SLID OF HILL ROLLED 4 TIMES. CONCUSSION, LOSS OF EYESIGHT IN RIGHT EYE.
MY TRUCK WAS IN 2 WHEEL DRIVE(WD) AND AUTOMATICALLY ENGAGED ITSELF INTO 4WD ON ITS OWN., I IMMEDIATELY RECEIVED A NOTICE ON MY DASH CONSUL, 4WD SERVICE ALERT ON MY 2015 CHEVY TAHOE LTZ. I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY DOING THE SPEED LIMIT 70 MPH WHEN MY TRUCK AUTOMATICALLY ENGAGED ITSELF INTO 4 WHEEL HIGH ALMOST CAUSING ME TO LOOSE CONTROL ON MY VEHICLE. IF I WERE ON SNOW OR WET ROADS I SURELY WOULD HAVE LOST CONTROL OF MY VEHICLE AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED. I IMMEDIATELY TOOK IT TO BRODHEADSVILLE CHEVY FOR REPAIRS ON 26, DECEMBER 2019. THE DEALERSHIP PUT MY TRUCK ON THE COMPUTER AND DETERMINED THAT IT HAD A CODE C0398 FOR RANGE POSITION CORRECTION. THE REPAIR FOR THIS WAS A NEW CALIBRATION (BASICALLY UPDATE THE CURRENT SOFTWARE) TO THE NEW VERSION WHICH WAS (VERSION 9.2). (SEE ATTACHED DEALERSHIP PAPERWORK WHICH DETAILS THE REPAIR.) I FEEL THIS SOFTWARE GLITCH IS BY NO WAY MY FAULT NOR MY RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY FOR THIS SOFTWARE FAILURE. THERE WAS NOT ANY PART FOUND FAULTY OR REPLACED. COMPUTERS WERE NOT DAMAGED NOR HARMED IN ANY MANNER TO CREATE THIS ISSUE. THIS WAS A SOFTWARE GLITCH OR ERROR. THE DEALERSHIP HAD NO EXPLANATION AS TO WHY OR HOW THIS HAPPENED. I AS A USER OF CHEVROLET'S PRODUCT HAVE NO CONTROL OF HOW CHEVY CODES THERE SOFTWARE TO MAKE SURE THAT IT PERFORMS CORRECTLY. IF THERE IS A CODING DEFECT IN THERE SOFTWARE THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY THAT I CAN REPAIR IT WITH OUT GOING TO THE DEALERSHIP AND HAVING THEM FIX IT. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A RECALL ON THIS UNSAFE ISSUE POTENTIALLY CAUSING LOSE OF LIFE.
BOTH TAIL LIGHTS HAVE STOPPED WORKING AT THE SAME TIME. NOT A FUSE, IT'S A MALFUNCTION WITHIN THE LIGHT ITSELF.
HAS A PROBLEM IN THE SUSPENSION WHEN YOU DRIVE IT JUMPS LIKE AN OLD TRUCK. RECENTLY REPLACED THE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBERS THAT WE'RE COVERED BY THE WARRANTY, BUT THE PROBLEM STILL CONTINUES AND IT ALSO FEELS TOO LOOSE ON THE BRAKES. ANOTHER PROBLEM, RECENTLY WENT OUT TO A STORE AND WHEN I REVERSED AND I WANTED TO STOP BECAUSE A VEHICLE WAS COMING, THE BRAKE PEDAL BECAME HARD AS A STONE AND DOES NOT STOP THE VEHICLE NO MATTER IF YOU BRAKE WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH THE PEDAL BECOMES VERY HARD AND, NOW THE PROBLEM IS VERY CONSTANT.
HAVE A 2015 CHEVY TAHOE LTZ WITH ONLY 35,000 MILES ON IT. THE VEHICLE STARTED RIDING SUPER ROUGH, FELT LIKE IT HAD NO SHOCKS WHEN GOING OVER BUMPS OR POTHOLES. I TOOK IT TO A LOCAL SHOP TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT. THEIR MECHANIC SAID IT LOOKED LIKE BOTH REAR SHOCKS WERE LEAKING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I DD NOT BELIEVE THEM AS THE VEHICLE ONLY HAD 35,000 MILES ON IT. TOOK IT TO A CERTIFIED CHEVY DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME THE SAME THING. OF COURSE, THEY SAID IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. COME TO FIND OUT, AFTER LOOKING AT SEVERAL FORUMS, THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE WITH THE MAGNETIC RIDE SUSPENSION IN THE HIGH TRIM PACKAGE TAHOES AND YUKONS AND YET GM WILL NOT COVER THEM UNDER WARRANTY.
I PURCHASED MY VEHICLE'2015 CHEVY TAHOE LT ON JULY 1, 2019 I HAVE HAD INTERMITTENT GLITCHES IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. THE HEADLIGHTS, DASH LIGHTS, AND MYLINK TOUCHSCREEN WILL COMPLETELY BLACK OUT AND THEN COME BACK ON. HOWEVER, WHEN THIS HAPPENS THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKS UP FOR A SPLIT SECOND. THIS IS HAPPENING WHILE DRIVING, AT SPEEDS OVER 50MPH, DURING THE NIGHT AND DAY. IT WAS SUSPECTED TO BE THE ALTERNATOR OR BATTERY, AFTER REPLACING THE ALTERNATOR THERE WAS NO CHANGE IN THE BEHAVIOR. IT CONTINUES TO HAPPEN. THE SERVICE STABILITRACK WARNING WILL ALSO POP UP AFTER THE POWER IS RESTORED. THIS ISSUE IS VERY DANGEROUS AND AFTER READING DOZENS OF FORUMS IT'S CLEAR THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED INCIDENT. THIS HAS HAPPENED OVER AND OVER AT LEAST 20 TIMES SINCE JULY 2019, RANDOMLY AND COMPLETELY UNEXPECTEDLY.
I PUT ON THE BRAKES AND THE INTERIOR LIGHTS FLICKER IT IS DISTRACTING WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. SEEMS TO HAPPEN WHILE CAR IS RUNNING ON THE COOLER SIDE OR JUST STARTING. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE WE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. I HAVE DONE SOME RESEARCH AND IT SEEMS THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY 2015 CHEVY TAHOE OWNER WHO IS EXPERIENCING THIS ISSUE.
I DRIVE GOING BACK TO VIRGINIA BEACH VA, FROM NEW YORK ,WHEN I PARK TO MY DRIVE WAY, NO BRAKE AT ALL THE BREAK PEDAL DON'T WORK
THE BRAKING SYSTEM FAILED WHILE DRIVING; I WAS APPROACHING A TRAFFIC LIGHT AND SLOWING DOWN AND AT ABOUT 15-20 MPH AND SLOWING THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT STRAIGHT TO THE FLOOR. THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER SLOWING DOWN SO I PUMPED THE BRAKES TO TRY AND REGAIN SOME KIND OF BRAKING AND THE ABS SYSTEM TRIED TO KICK IN BUT WAS ONLY PARTIALLY AFFECTIVE AND SLOWED THE VEHICLE DOWN ENOUGH TO COME TO A STOP AFTER I CROSSED THE INTERSECTION AND RAN OVER A CURB.
WHEN TURNING ON THE BRIGHTS ON MY 2015 CHEVYTAHOE THE DASH SCREEN WILL FLASH ON AND OFF, AS WELL AS SHUT OFF THE CRUISE CONTROL WHEN ON. IN ADDITION, THE STABILITRAK WILL FLASH AN ERROR MESSAGE. IN ADDITION TO ALL OF THIS THE HEADLIGHTS FLASH WHILE DRIVING. AT NIGHT THIS IS VERY SCARY AND HARMFUL. THESE ELECTRICAL ISSUES NEED TO BE CORRECTED!
DRIVER SIDE SEAT BUCKLE DOESN'T LATCH AT ALL TIMES. ALSO ALL INTERIOR OVERHEAD LIGHTS 'DISCO LIGHTS' FLICKER WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL IS PRESSED OR THE TURN SIGNAL IS USED.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MAC HAIK CHEVROLET (11711 KATY FWY, HOUSTON, TX 77079, (281) 497-6600) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VACUUM PUMP FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED BECAUSE THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V645000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 9-5634885741. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT SOMEONE WOULD CALL BACK; HOWEVER, THE CONTACT HAD NOT HEARD FROM ANYONE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 150,200.
THE LEFT HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY HAD MOISTURE AND THE LEFT TURN FRONT TURN SIGNAL QUIT WORKING CAUSING AN ERROR CODE. THE DEALER SAID THERE WAS NO RECALL SO I HAD A BODY SHOP REPLACE THE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY. APPROXIMATELY 2 MONTHS AND THERE IS MOISTURE IN THE NEW LEFT HEADLIGHT. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE.
HIGH PRESSURE FUEL LINE WAS LEAKING DUE TO RUBBING ON HE CHASSIS. WHEN I MENTIONED IT WAS A DESIGN FLAW AS ALOT OF PEOPLE COMPLAINED THE SERVICE MANAGER SAID IT WAS BECAUSE SOMETHING WAS CHEWING ON THE PLASTIC BUT AS YOU SEE IN THE PICS. THAT IS NOT THE CASE AND EVEN THE SERVICE MAN SAID IT WAS NOT CHEWED ON.

VEHICLE BEGAN RIDING ROUGH AT 58,000 MILES. DUE TO COVID WE JUST BROUGHT THE VEHICLE IN TO THE DEALER AND FOUND OUT THE FRONT SHOCKS ARE LEAKING AND THE REAR BAGS NEEDN'T TO BE REPLACED AS THEY HAVE HOLES IN THEM THEY WANT 2900 TO FIX. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ON THIS ISSUE. THIS IS A 70K VEHICLE WITH 68000 MILES. I HAVE OWNED 3 NEW TAHOE'S IN MY LIFE AND NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM. THE AIR CONDITIONER STOPPED WORKING LATE IN 2019. IT STARTED GETTING COLD OUT SO WE DIDN'T NEED IT AT THE TIME. COVID 19 HIT AND I DIDN'T DRIVE THE CAR FOR WEEKS ON END. SO DIDN'T NEED AC. WHEN WE DID HAVE TO USE IT THE AC WAS BLOWING HOT AIR. THERE WAS AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR 5 YEARS 60K MILES THAT WE DID NOT KNOW ABOUT. WE NEVER RECEIVED INFORMATION ON IT. WE HAVE BEEN TO THE DEALER MANY TIMES FOR OTHER SERVICE RELATED STUFF OVER THE YEARS AND NO ONE EVER MENTIONED OR EVEN CHECKED TO SEE IF THE AC UNIT WAS NOT WORKING. WE CONTACTED THE DEALER TO FIX IT UNDER THIS WARRANTY SOMETIME IN MAY OR JUNE OF 2020 AND WAS TOLD NO THAT THIS EXTENDED WARRANTY ENDED IN FEB 16, 2020. CONTACTED GM AND ASKED THE SAME THING. GOOD FAITH HELP WOULD HAVE BEEN REAL NICE. WE ARE A FEW MONTHS OVER THE 5 YEARS, BUT WELL UNDER THE 60K MILES. WE TOOK THIS VEHICLE TO THE DEALER YESTERDAY FOR THE RECENT BRAKE SYSTEM RECALL. WE HAVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH BRAKES FOR AWHILE BUT JUST HADN'T TAKEN IT IN. AND THEN WE HEARD ABOUT THE RECALL SO WE TOOK IT IN BECAUSE IT SOUNDED LIKE THE SAME ISSUE WE HAD BEEN EXPERIENCING. I CAN SAY THAT THEIR 'FIX' OF REPROGRAMMING THE SOFTWARE DID NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM. WHEN MOVING SLOW OR GOING FROM FROWARD TO REVERSE WHEN PARKING, THE BRAKE PEDAL BECOMES VERY DIFFICULT TO PUSH. I HAVE TO PUT ALL MY WEIGHT ON THE PEDAL TO MAKE THE VEHICLE STOP. THERE IS NO GIVE EITHER WAY. HARD AS A ROCK. THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME.
The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while driving at various low speeds and coming to a stop at a stop signal or while attempting to park the vehicle, the brake pedal failed to respond. The contact stated that excessive force was needed to depress the brake pedal. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer and was repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V761000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic, Electronic Stability Control); however, the failure reoccurred and was more frequent. The vehicle was not taken back to the dealer or to an independent mechanic. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 146,000.
RECALLED ISSUED BY DEALER IN SEPTEMBER 2019. I RECEIVED THE NOTICE ON 10/21/2019. RECALL # N192268490. I HAD THE VEHICLE REPAIRED ON 9/13/2019 BY A 3RD PARTY. I CALLED THE DEALER ABOUT REIMBURSEMENT SINCE I REPAIRED THE VEHICLE BEFORE I WAS AWARE OF THE RECALL. I WAS INFORMED THAT SINCE I HAD THE REPAIR WORK DONE BY A 3RD PARTY AND NOT A CERTIFIED CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP I WOULD NOT BE REIMBURSED. IS THERE ANY OTHER RECOURSE FOR REIMBURSEMENT OR PARTIAL REIMBURSEMENT FOR MY OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE?
TOTAL STRUT FAILURE AT 58K MILES; MAKING CAR HARD TO MANEUVER. DEALERSHIP WANTS $1900 TO FIX THE MAG RIDE SUSPENSION, NO POWERTRAIN COVERAGE AT ALL FOR THIS ISSUE. ALSO, A BEARING IN THE STEERING COLUMN HAS FAILED AND THERE IS NO WARRANTY COVERAGE FROM THAT EITHER.
MY 2015 TAHOE BEGAN HESITATING WHEN I PRESSED THE GAS PEDAL LEADING ME TO BELIEVE I HAD PURCHASED SOME BAD GASOLINE. THIS CONTINUED FOR TWO WEEKS WITHOUT ANY WARNING LIGHTS COMING ON. I DECIDED TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO BE CHECKED BY AN AUTOMOTIVE PLACE AND AS I WAS DRIVING A WARNING LIGHT FINALLY CAME ON. THEY HOOKED IT TO COMPUTER AND REFERRED ME TO A TRANSMISSION SPECIALIST LOCATED THREE MILES AWAY. THE CAR BROKE DOWN IN A CONSTRUCTION ZONE ON THE WAY TO THE TRANSMISSION SHOP. MY 2015 TAHOE ONLY HAD 107,000 MILES ON IT AND THE TRANSMISSION HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE TRANSMISSION SHOP STATED THAT THEY HAD SEEN ABOUT FOUR OTHER TAHOES OF THE SAME YEAR THAT HAD TO HAVE TRANSMISSIONS REPLACED. IT ENDED UP COSTING ME $3300.00 TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION. I THINK HAD A WARNING LIGHT BEEN ACTIVATED TWO WEEKS BEFORE I MAY COULD HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE SHOP EARLIER AND HAD IT REPAIRED INSTEAD OF REPLACED. THIS SEEMS TO ME WAY TOO SOON TO HAVE TO REPLACE A TRANSMISSION IN AN AUTOMOBILE.

MY BRAKES FAILED IN HEAVY HIGHWAY TRAFFIC WHEN TRYING TO MERGE OVER. THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED THEN COASTING AND BRAKES WOULD NOT WORK. GOT TOWED TO DEALER FOR GM RECALL N192268490. RECALL WAS PERFORMED. BRAKES FAILED 45 MILES LATER WHEN SLOWLY BACKING INTO DRIVEWAY. THE FAULTY PROGRAM THAT HAS BEEN RECALLED IS KNOWN TO DAMAGE THE VACUUM PUMP YET CHEVROLET HAS ONLY RECALLED THE PROGRAM AND NOT THE VACUUM PUMP. I FILED A CASE WITH CHEVROLET MONDAY 10/14/19 AND WAS TOLD I WOULD RECEIVE A CALL IN 1 TO 2 BUSINESS DAYS. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL BACK. I SPOKE WITH SOMEONE TODAY WHO SAID THE SENIOR SERVICE ADVISOR IS SCHEDULED TO CALL ME AT 9PM FRIDAY 9/18/19. MY GRANDSON AND I WAITED OVER 3 HOURS FOR OUR ONSTAR TOW AND HE IS ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATED BY THE FEAR HE EXPERIENCED. *TR
OCTOBER 8, 2019 WAS TAKING OFF IN TRAFFIC AFTER STOPPING AT A RED LIGHT, APPROXIMATELY 5-10 MPH. THE TRAFFIC STOPPED, ATTEMPTED TO APPLY THE BRAKES AND PEDAL FELT HARD. REAR END COLLISION OCCURRED WITH THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME CAUSING REAR DAMAGE TO THAT VEHICLE AND FRONT DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE. APPROXIMATELY 2 MONTHS LATER WAS PULLING INTO A PARKING SPOT AT A LOW SPEED AND COULD NOT STOP THE VEHICLE, FELT LIKE THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS STUCK TO THE FLOOR. PULLED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE AND WAS ABLE TO GET STOPPED WITHOUT A COLLISION. TOOK VEHICLE INTO DEALER ON JANUARY 10TH. THEY REPROGRAMMED THE HYDRAULIC BRAKE BOOST BUT SAID THE PEDAL WAS STILL HARD AND THEY WOULD NEED TO REPLACE THE MECHANICAL VACUUM OUTPUT. THE PART IS ON BACKORDER BUT THEY WOULD NOT RELEASE THE VEHICLE BACK TO ME BECAUSE OF SAFETY RISKS YET I'VE BEEN DRIVING AROUND FOR MONTHS WITH SAME PROBLEM. ALL RECALLS REVIEWED ARE SUGGESTIVE IF YOU EXPERIENCE THIS PROBLEM NOT A MANDATORY REPAIR. WHY WAIT UNTIL SOMEONE HAS A CRASH LIKE I DID?? ONCE RESEARCHED THIS HAS BEEN A KNOWN ISSUE FOR MONTHS WITH 3 ASSOCIATED RECALLS. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE, NEEDS TO BE MANDATORY REMEDIED. MY VEHICLE DAMAGE WAS SET TO BE REPAIRED NEXT WEEK BUT NOW IT HAS TO BE CANCELLED BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE THE VEHICLE IN POSSESSION.
I HAD A SYSTEM FAILURE LIGHT THAT CAME ON MY 2015 TAHOE. WHEN I BROUGHT IT TO VOSS CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP IN CENTERVILLE OHIO, THEY TOLD ME THAT MY HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP WAS FAILING AND THAT I WOULD NEED TO REPLACE IT ALONG WITH THE FUEL LINES. UPON FURTHER RESEARCH I LEARNED THAT GM HAD ISSUED A RECALL BULLETIN (TSB 14858) IN 2015 FOR SELECT 2015 TAHOES. THE TAHOE'S AFFECTED INCLUDED VEHICLES WITH AN 8 CYLINDER ENGINE (RPO L83 OR L86). THIS DESCRIBES MY VEHICLE BUT THE DEALERSHIP SAID GM DID NOT INCLUDE MY VIN IN THE RECALL, SO THEY COULD NOT FIX IT UNDER THE TSB RECALL. I CALLED GM DIRECTLY AND THEY ALSO SAID MY VEHICLE VIN WAS NOT PART OF THE RECALL. THEY WERE NOT VERY CLEAR AS TO WHICH VINS THEY DECIDED TO INCLUDE WHEN ALL OF THE TAHOE'S WERE MADE ON THE SAME PRODUCTION LINE. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND CLEARLY ALL OF THE VINS SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE RECALL OF THE HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP AND THE HOSES. GM CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND PAID A PORTION OF THE EXPENSES, BUT I STILL HAD TO PAY MORE THAN $300 OUT OF POCKET FOR AN ISSUE THAT IS KNOWN TO GM.

SUSPENSION BOUNCES SO BADLY THAT THE VEHICLE BECOMES UNSTABLE AND DIFFICULT TO CONTROL. FAILURE HAPPENED AROUND 75,000 MILES WHILE TRAVELING ON THE INTERSTATE AND IS A VERY COMMON FAILURE AMONG THE TAHOE, SUBURBAN, AND YUKONS. GM HAS FAILED ITS CUSTOMERS BY NOT COVERING THE DEFECTIVE SUSPENSION UNDER THESE VEHICLES. THIS WILL BE THE LAST GM VEHICLE THAT I PURCHASE, I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE FROM THIS CAR.
BRAKES WERE FAULTY. THE CAR WAS NOT STOPPING AT SLOW SPEEDS. AFTER GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH DEALER AND SHOWING THEM THE 'DIAGNOSTIC TIP' OUT FOR THIS KNOWN ISSUE, THEY REPLACED VACUUM PUMP FREE OF CHARGE. I ASKED WHY THEY DIDN'T REPLACE THE OTHER ITEMS LISTED AS RECOMMENDED ON THE NOTICE. NOW 7 MONTHS LATER, THE OTHER PARTS ARE LEAKING AND NEED REPLACEMENT. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED AT SAME TIME.

LUCKILY NO ONE IN FRONT OF MY TO HIT. ABLE TO DUPLICATE PROBLEM SEVERAL TIMES; MAINLY WHEN COASTING AND AT SLOW SPEED. BRAKING AT DRIVING SEEMS TO WORK BETTER, STILL SEEMS TO BE OFF THOUGH. WAS ABLE TO SLOWLY RETURN TO WORK, WITH ANOTHER EMPLOYEE FOLLOWING, AND PARK. PARKING WAS DIFFICULT, THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO GO DOWN THE BANK! HAD TO USE THE E-BRAKE. THE VEHICLE IS GOING TO THE DEALERSHIP TONIGHT! I REFUSE TO DRIVE WITH THIS PROBLEM!
VEHICLE HAS 65K ON IT. MOST RECENTLY THE FRONT END STARTED BOUNCING SEVERELY DURING NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS AND BOUNCES VIOLENTLY OVER ROUGH ROAD CONDITIONS. THE VEHICLE CAN BE DIFFICULT TO CONTROL, ESPECIALLY FOR MY WIFE, WHO IS SMALLER IN STATURE. I WAS ADVISED BY MY MECHANIC THAT THE FRONT SHOCKS/STRUTS ARE LEAKING. COST ESTIMATES ARE 1670 TO 1920. VEHICLE WILL BE FIXED ON 9/27/19 BECAUSE IT CANNOT BE DRIVEN OTHERWISE.
