JAN 13, 2010 I STARTED MY 2004 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER AND THE ENTIRE INSTRUMENT PANEL WAS NOT WORKING. THERE HAS BEEN NO ACCIDENT, FIRE, FLOOD OR ANY OTHER THING THAT WOULD HAVE CAUSED THIS TO HAPPEN. I DO NOT FEEL I CAN SAFELY DRIVE MY VEHICLE AND AM NOT AWARE OF ANY RECALLS EVEN THOUGH I HAVE FOUND HUNDREDS OF OTHER SIMILAR COMPLAINTS OF THE SAME PROBLEM. *TR
2004 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER. INSTRUMENT PANEL FAILS. NO SPEEDOMETER, GAS GAUGE, BATTERY, OIL, ETC. *TR
GAUGES IN VEHICLE (2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER ) HAVE GONE "HAYWIRE". THEY DROP TO ZERO SUDDENLY OR EVEN WORSE SHOW UNREALISTIC DISPLAYS , SUCH AS SPEEDING PAST 100 MILES AN HOUR WHEN I HAVE STOPPED. *TR
THE SPEEDOMETER AND BATTERY GUAGE WILL NOT WORK. THE SPEEDOMETER SHOWS OVER 100 MPH WHEN YOU ARE NOT MOVING. CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THEY GET CALLS EVERYDAY ON THIS PROBLEM, BUT GM DOES NOT HAVE A RECALL ON THE TRAILBLAZER ONLY ON THE PICKUP TRUCKS.
I OWN A 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER AND THE SPEEDOMETER IS ERRATIC AND FREQUENTLY READS SPEEDS NOT CONSISTENT WITH ACTUAL SPEED (AS COMPARED WITH THE SPEED PROVIDED BY A GPS DEVICE). I HAVE FOUND A SIGNIFICANT NUMBER OF OTHER VEHICLE OWNERS WITH SIMILAR CHEVROLET VEHICLES EXPERIENCING THE SAME ISSUES. BEING UNAWARE OF YOUR ACTUAL SPEED IS A DANGER TO SELF AND OTHER DRIVERS. *TR
THE RPM GAUGE, BATTERY GAUGE AND THE FUEL GAUGE STOPPED WORKING. FIRST THE RPM GAUGE STOPPED AND THEN ABOUT A YEAR LATER THE BATTERY GAUGE STOPPED AND LAST WAS THE FUEL GAUGE THAT STOPPED. THE FUEL GAUGE STOPPED WORKING JUST A COUPLE OF WEEKS AFTER THE BATTERY GAUGE. I AM ALSO HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS NOT STAYING ON PERIODICALLY. THE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS WILL GO OUT ABOUT TWICE A YEAR AND MAINLY AT NIGHT. *KB
WHILE DRIVING MY 2004 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER HOME FROM WORK ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO I NOTICED MY SPEEDOMETER READING AT 0, HOWEVER I WAS DRIVING APPROX. 30 MILES PER HOUR AT THE TIME. I ACCELERATED TO CHECK TO SEE IF THAT WOULD MAKE THE SPEEDOMETER MOVE ABOVE 0, BUT IT STAYED AT 0. I INFORMED MY SPOUSE OF THIS SPEEDOMETER MISREAD AND HE ATTRIBUTED IT TO THE COLD WEATHER. MY SPOUSE THOUGHT THAT THE SPEEDOMETER WOULD RETURN TO NORMAL ONCE THE WEATHER WARMED UP. WELL, THE TEMPERATURE WARMED TO 65 DEGREES AND ONCE AGAIN MY SPEEDOMETER CONTINUED TO MALFUNCTION AND READ BELOW 0, WHILE DRIVING. MY HUSBAND HAS ALSO NOTICED THAT THE SPEEDOMETER WASN'T WORKING WHILE HE WAS DRIVING. THEY SPEEDOMETER JUST STOPS WORKING SOMETIMES WITHOUT WARNING. TWO WEEKS AGO MY FAMILY AND I STARTED OUT ON A 180 MILE HIGHWAY TRIP AND WITHIN 20 MILES FROM MY HOME THE SPEEDOMETER JUST STARTED DESCENDING TO BELOW 0 WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND IT REMAINED THERE FOR THE ENTIRE TRIP!!!!! I FEEL THAT THIS IS A VERY HAZARDOUS SITUATION AND THESE VEHICLES SHOULD BE RECALLED. AFTER FINDING NUMEROUS OTHER CHEVY OWNERS EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEM, IT FRUSTRATES ME TO THINK THAT CHEVY DOES NOT FEEL THAT THIS ISN'T IMPORTANT ENOUGH OR SERIOUS ENOUGH TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM AT THEIR EXPENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS MY ONLY VEHICLE AND I DEPEND ON THE SAFETY OF THIS VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT MY FAMILY WHICH INCLUDES A 3YR. OLD AND 13YR. OLD EVERY DAY TO SCHOOL AND DAYCARE. AND FURTHERMORE, I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT GETTING A SPEEDING TICKET BECAUSE I AM UNAWARE OF MY ACTUAL SPEED. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO ALTER MY TRAVEL PLANS IN FEAR OF GETTING PULLED OVER ON THE HIGHWAY FOR THIS SPEEDOMETER MALFUNCTIONING EITHER. PLEASE RECALL THESE VEHICLES IMMEDIATELY. *TR
I HAVE A 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. ALL THE GAUGES IN THE INSTRUMENT PANEL ARE FAILING! FIRST THE SPEEDOMETER STOPPED WORKING, THEN THE RPM GAUGE, AND NOW THE OIL PRESSURE GAUGE. *TR
INSTRUMENT PANEL - COMPLETE FAILURE WHILE VEHICLE WAS IN SERVICE. WAS DRIVING DOWN I95 NEAR RICHMOND VA AND THE SPEEDOMETER DID NOT DECREASE IN SPEED WHILE I WAS SLOWING DOWN. WHEN I ACCELERATED THE SPEEDOMETER WOULD INCREASE AND WOULD NOT DROP. THE SPEEDOMETER FINAL REACHED 120MPH. SAFETY ISSUE AS ONE IS UNABLE TO KNOW WHAT SPEED ONE IS TRAVELING WHICH COULD HAVE LED TO AN ACCIDENT. TOOK VEHICLE TO GMC / BUICK / CADILLAC DEALER IN ATHENS GA. TOOK ONE WEEK TO GET A REPLACEMENT CLUSTER BOX. COST OF REPAIR $401.50. CONTACTED GM. *TR
MY HEADLIGHTS AND BLINKERS AND TAIL LIGHTS GO OUT QUITE OFTEN AND NEED TO BE CHANGED. SOMETIMES THEY WILL GO OFF FOR AWHILE, THEN START WORKING AGAIN. I WISH I HAD A COUNT OF HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE HAD TO HAVE THE BULBS CHANGED, BUT I DID NOT KEEP TRACK. *TR
THE SPEEDOMETER HAS QUIT WORKING PROPERLY IN A 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER WITH 71,000 MILES. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KNOW THE RATE OF SPEED OF THE VEHICLE WHILE DRIVING. THE REPAIR HAS NOT BEEN MADE YET. *TR

WE OWN A 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. ON THE WAY HOME FROM CHRISTMAS WE NOTICED OUR SPEEDOMETER WAS NOT MOVING. THE SPEEDOMETER WAS EITHER TO FAST OR NOT FAST ENOUGH. WE HOPE TO BRING IT TO CARMAX, SINCE THE VEHICLE IS HOPEFULLY STILL UNDER WARRANTY. THIS PROBLEM COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT OR A TICKET FOR THE PERSON DRIVING THE CAR. *TR
I OWN A 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER AND THE SPEEDOMETER AS WELL AS ALL OF THE OTHER GAUGES STOPPED WORKING. I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD LOOKED DOWN AND SAW THAT THE SPEEDOMETER SAID I WAS TRAVELING 100MPH, WHICH I KNEW I WASN'T BECAUSE I WAS IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC. WHEN I STOPPED AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT THE SPEEDOMETER DROPPED DOWN BUT GOT STUCK ON 55MPH AND NOW IT WILL NOT MOVE AT ALL. I SEARCHED THE INTERNET FOR THIS PROBLEM AND DISCOVERED THAT SEVERAL OTHER OWNERS OF THE 2004 TRAILBLAZER HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS BUT CHEVROLET HAS FAILED TO RECOGNIZE THIS AS A SAFETY RECALL. I AM REQUESTING THAT THIS ISSUE BE BROUGHT UP AS A SAFETY COMPLAINT DUE TO THIS VEHICLE BEING OUR MAIN TRANSPORTATION FOR MYSELF AND MY FAMILY !! I AM NOW IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING PRICE QUOTES FROM AREA AUTOMOTIVE SHOPS BUT I HAVE READ THAT THE REPAIR COSTS ARE FROM $400.00 TO $800.00. I DON'T THINK I SHOULD HAVE TO PAY THIS AMOUNT IF CHEVROLET WOULD RECOGNIZE THIS AS A SAFETY HAZARD AND JUST RECALL THIS CERTAIN PROBLEM. I ALSO OWN A 2001 SILVERADO AND NOT TOO LONG AGO I RECEIVED A NOTICE IN THE MAIL THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE WIRE SUPPORTS FOR THE TRUCKS TAILGATE(DUE TO THE CURRENT SUPPORTS MIGHT BREAK UNDER THE RIGHT CIRCUMSTANCES). NOW I AM WONDERING IF A TAILGATE THAT I RARELY USE IS A SAFETY HAZARD THEN HOW IS AN INSTRUMENT THAT IS USED TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE OPERATING YOUR VEHICLE AT A SAFE SPEED OR MAKING SURE YOU DO NOT RUN OUT OF GAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSTATE NOT BEING RECALLED... 2004 TRAILBLAZER, SPEEDOMETER FAILED. NEEDLE SITS AT 60 MPH WHEN STOPPED, MOVES PAST 120MPH AS YOU DRIVE. I CONSIDER IT A SAFETY ISSUE IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO MONITOR YOUR SPEED.GM IS REPAIRING OUT OF WARRANTY 03/04 CADILLAC ESCALADE,CHEVROLET AVALANCHE, SILVERADO, SUBURBAN,AND TAHOE; AND GMC YUKON FOR THIS SAME PROBLEM. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH WHERE THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY UPON IMPACT. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED YET NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR REPAIRS. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT HE HAS ONLY ENTERED THE VEHICLE THREE TIMES SINCE THE CRASH AND EACH TIME, HE EXPERIENCED A STINGING SENSATION IN HIS EYES THAT HE STATED WAS SIMILAR TO TEAR GAS. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 50,000.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. HE STATED THAT THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WOULD INTERMITTENTLY FAIL. HE VERIFIED THAT THE SPEEDOMETER AND FUEL LEVEL INDICATOR WOULD NOT READ PROPERLY. THERE WERE ALSO OTHER RANDOM WARNING LIGHTS THAT WOULD ILLUMINATE SPORADICALLY. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE COULD BE REPAIRED AT THE OWNERS EXPENSE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 62,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 63,500. UPDATED 05/13/10. *LJ
THERE HAVE NOT BEEN ANY ACCIDENTS OR INJURIES YET, THAT I KNOW OF. THERE HAVE, HOWEVER, BEEN MANY COMPLAINTS THAT I HAVE SEEN FOR THE SAME PROBLEM I AM HAVING AND CHEVY DOES NOT CARE. THE SPEEDOMETER AND OTHER GAUGES ON MY 2004 TRAILBLAZER DO NOT WORK CORRECTLY, THE SPEEDOMETER CAN READ 0-120 WHEN AT A COMPLETE STOP. THEREFORE WE NEVER KNOW HOW FAST WE ARE GOING AND WITH CHILDREN IN THE VEHICLE THIS IS VERY DISTURBING. BESIDES THE GAUGES THE WIRES FOR THE HEADLIGHTS KEEP BURNING. I WAS TOLD WHEN I HAD THE FIRST ONE FIXED THAT IT IS VERY COMMON IN THESE VEHICLES. THE FACT THAT BOTH OF THESE PROBLEMS ARE SO COMMON WITH MANY CHEVY VEHICLES AND THEY ARE RECALLING SOME AND NOT ALL, I GUESS I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHY NOT ALL? *CN

INTERMITTENT SPEEDOMETER AND INOPERATIVE TACHOMETER. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE SPEEDOMETER INDICATED A SPEED OF 0 MPH. EACH TIME SHE OPERATED THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SPEEDOMETER WOULD DISPLAY AN IMPROPER READING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP WHERE IT WAS REPAIRED. THREE DAYS LATER, THE FAILURE OCCURRED AGAIN. IN ADDITION TO THE SPEEDOMETER, THE FUEL GAUGE ALSO GAVE INCORRECT READINGS ON THE FUEL LEVEL AND THE RPM GAUGE ALSO DISPLAYED INCORRECT READINGS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FUEL TANK HAD TO BE REMOVED AND THE RPM GAUGE FAILURE HAD BEEN REPAIRED THREE TIMES. THE PROBLEMS HAD NOT BEEN REMEDIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 120,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 142,000.
TACHOMETER AND SPEEDOMETER ON MY 2004 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER DO NOT WORK. PROBLEM STARTED INTERMITTENTLY AT APPROXIMATELY 60,000 MILES. INITIALLY THE PROBLEM ONLY OCCURRED AFTER USING CRUISE CONTROL. HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE NOW HAS OVER 70,000 MILES AND BOTH GAUGES DO NOT WORK AT ALL. VEHICLE HASN EVER BEEN IN ANY ACCIDENT TO CAUSE THIS ISSUE. SPEEDOMETER DIAL NOW READS PAST 120 MPH EVEN WHEN CAR IS STOPPED. FUEL GAUGE ALSO HAS RECENTLY STARTED TO FAIL. *TR
CRACK IN FUEL TANK 2004 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER LS. CRACK IS JUST BELOW WHERE THE FILLER TUBE GOES INTO TANK. I HAVE RESEARCHED ONLINE AND FIND THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM BUT THERE IS NO RECALL. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT A FIRE AND EXPLOSION. A NEW FUEL TANK FROM THE DEALER IS OVER $1000. I HAVE TRIED TO PATCH IT BUT IT IS MADE OF A SPECIAL PLASTIC THAT IS HERD TO REPAIR. *TT
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET TRAIL BLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER REFUELING, THE SMELL OF GASOLINE FUEL WAS EMITTED INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT WAS ALSO ILLUMINATED DURING THE FAILURE . THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHERE THE MECHANIC CONFIRMED THAT THE FUEL TANK NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO A LEAK. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 99,000.
THIS ISSUE NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED, MY SPEEDOMETER AND TRANS METER ON LEFT OF SPEEDOMETER STARTED SHOWING MY CHEVROLET SPEED WAS 80 MILES AN HOUR EVEN IN PARK. THEN WHILE I DRIVE IT WILL MOVE TO 100 MILES AN HOUR WHILE I'M DRIVING 35, AND IT MOVES UP AND DOWN DEPENDING ON MY SPEED. SOME TIMES IT WILL WORK OTHER TIMES IT WILL NOT SHOW THE CORRECT SPEED, OR ACCELERATION ON TRANS METER TO THE LEFT OF SPEEDOMETER. I HAVE WENT ONLINE AND SEEN 1000'S OF PEOPLE SAYING THE SAME THING AT THE SAME MILES OF THE CHEVROLET. 70,000-90,000 MOST ARE AROUND 80,000. SHOULDN'T THIS HAVE BEEN RECALLED YEARS AGO? AND WHY HAVE THIS ISSUE BEEN IGNORED FOR SO LONG? *TR
WITH DRIVING HOME MY SPEEDOMETER STARTING SCREWING UP. NOW IT DOESN'T WORK. COME TO FIND OUT THE CLUSTER IS BAD. MY DAD HAS A 05 SILVERADO AND THAT CLUSTER WAS RECALLED. WHY NOT THE TRAILBLAZERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. *TR
THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FOR THE DASHBOARD BEGAN TO FAIL. FIRST, THE RPM GAUGE NO LONGER WORKED. AFTER A LITTLE TIME HAD PASSED, THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE FAILED, THEN THE BATTERY GAUGE, THEN OIL AND GAS. WHEN VARIOUS MECHANICS WERE ASKED ABOUT THE PROBLEM, I WAS INFORMED THAT IT WAS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM FOR TRAILBLAZERS AND SIMILAR VEHICLES MANUFACTURED BY GM. WHEN GM WAS INFORMED OF THIS, THEY TOLD ME IT WAS NOT UNDER WARRANTY AND THUS I WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE IN FIXING IT. *TR
THE TACHOMETER NEEDLE POINTS STRAIGHT DOWN AND DOES NOT RESPOND TO ENGINE SPEED. ACCORDING TO INFORMATION ONLINE, THE PROBLEM WILL PROGRESS TO THE OTHER GAUGES INSIDE THE INSTRUMENT PANEL OF MY VEHICLE. IT WILL BE A SAFETY ISSUE WHEN THE SPEEDOMETER STOPS WORKING. GM HAS MADE REPAIRS FOR SOME MODELS BUT NOT THE TRAILBLAZER. *TR

THE SPEEDOMETER GOES OFF MOST OF THE TIME YOU CAN TURN OF VEHICLE THEN JUST KEEP CLICKING AND IT WILL GO BACK TO 0 SOMETIMES YOU STAR DRIVING AND IT WILL GO START ACTING UP AGAIN AND SOMETIMES IT STAYS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE. I THINK THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD YOU DON'T KNOW IF IT IS WORKING PROPERLY OR NOT AND YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW THE SPEED WHICH YOU ARE TRAVELING. I HAVE REQUEST AT MANY PLACES TO FIX THE PROBLEM BUT HAVE BEEN TOLD OVER AND OVER AGAIN THAT I MAY SPEND THE MONEY TO REPLACE THE CLUSTER WHICH IS WHAT IS CAUSING THIS PROBLEM BUT IT WOULD PROBABLY DO THE SAME THING. FROM THERE KNOWLEDGE OF THIS PROBLEM THERE ARE MANY OF THESE WITH THIS PROBLEM AND I AM TOLD IF I REPLACE IT THE OTHER THAT I REPLACE IT WITH WOULD PROBABLY DO THE SAME THING. SO I AM JUST WONDERING HOW CAN THIS COMPANY GET AWAY WITH LETTING THIS PROBLEM EXIST. THIS IS A VERY UNSAFE ISSUE AND IF I CANT RESOLVE THIS I AM GOING TO HAVE TO TRADE IN FOR ANOTHER FORM OF TRANSPORTATION. MY VEHICLE HAS TO BE RUNNING FOR 30 MIN OR MORE FOR IT TO ACT UP. IF I LEAVE CRUISE CONTROL ON THE NEEDLE STAYS ,ONCE CRUISE IS TURNED OFF I'M DOING (HOPEFULLY) 70 WHILE MY SPEEDOMETER SAYS I'M DOING 20. SPEEDOMETER ON MY 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER NO LONGER FUNCTIONS PROPERLY. SHOWS THE VEHICLE IS MOVING AT 15 - 20 MPH SITTING IN THE GARAGE. HAVE NO IDEA HOW FAST THE VEHICLE IS TRAVELING WHEN DRIVING ON THE ROAD. GM HAS RECALLED THE FULL SIZE VEHICLES (I.E. TAHOE/ESCALADE) THAT HAVE EXHIBITED THE SAME FAILURE MODE IN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. THE TRAILBLAZER/ENVOY CHASSIS USE THE SAME CLUSTER AS THE FULL SIZE VEHICLES, NO IDEA WHY THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. *TR
THE SPEEDOMETER HAS FAILED TO WORK PROPERLY. IT IS ERRATIC, SOMETIMES REGISTERING "0" AND SOMETIMES REGISTERING 20-30 MPH OVER ACTUAL SPEED. *TR
THE PROBLEMS THAT ARE HAPPENING TO MY 2004 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER : I AM HAVING A WHINING NOISE IN THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE AND WHEN I TRY TO ENGAGE INTO 4WD THE SOUND WORSENS AND THERE IS A VIBRATION IN THE FRONT AS WELL THE WHINING ALMOST RESEMBLES A LOW SIREN SOUND. I AM ALSO HAVING A MAJOR MALFUNCTION WITH MY SPEEDOMETER SINCE THE WEATHER HAS GOTTEN COLDER??? I COULD ONLY BE MOVING 10MPH AND IT WILL REGISTER TO 120 OR EVEN SURPASS IT AND THEN GET STUCK, THE ONLY WAY TO UNSTICK IT IS TO SHUT THE CAR OFF AND KEEP RESTARTING IT UNTIL IT RESETS ITSELF BUT NOW IT IS STUCK AND WONT RESET, I WENT ONLINE TO SEE IF THERE WERE ANY RECALLS AND I ALL I FOUND OUT WAS THERE WERE TONS OF PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME ISSUES WITH THEIR TRAILBLAZERS AS I AM HAVING. THESE PROBLEMS ARE OCCURRING AT ALL DIFFERENT TIMES DURING THE LIFE OF THE CAR SOME PEOPLE HAVE THEM HAPPEN AROUND 30,000 MILES OR SOME 50 THOUSAND AND MYSELF THE SPEEDOMETER IS HAPPENING AROUND 72,000 MILES. THE SPEEDOMETER SEEMED TO START TO ACT UP ONCE THE WEATHER WAS COLDER. ITS A SHAME THEY WILL FIX THE LARGER SUV'S DUE TO A LAWSUIT BUT SINCE THIS IS A SMALLER SUV IT'S NOT COVERED. WE HAVE TRIED TO REPLACE THE WHEEL BEARINGS IN THE TRUCK FOR THE FRONT END NOISE TO ONLY FIND THE NOISE DID NOT DISAPPEAR AFTER READING MANY OF OTHER COMPLAINTS FROM OTHERS IT SEEMS THIS COULD BE THE TRANSFER CASE ON THE TRUCK. I AM NOT GOING TO KEEP REPLACING PART AFTER PART TO ONLY FIND OUT ITS THE DRIVE TRAIN AND SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT THIS. *TR

THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER REGARDING THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND THEY ADVISED HIM TO CONTACT THE DEALER SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS UNDER A WARRANTY. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
