SPEEDODOMETER STOP WORKING. *TR
THE SPEEDOMETER ON MY 2004 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER IS UNDEPENDABLE ESPECIALLY IN COOLER WEATHER. IT MIGHT SAY I'M GOING 120 MPH IN TOWN OR 35 MPH ON THE INTERSTATE. THIS HAPPENED LAST SPRING AND OCCASIONALLY THIS SUMMER. NOW IT IS REAL FREQUENT. WHEN I SEARCH (GOOGLE) THE PROBLEM IT APPEARS TO BE QUITE OFTEN WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, SUDDENLY THE SPEEDOMETER DISPLAYED AN INACCURATE READING. THE READING WOULD FLUCTUATE INTERMITTENTLY AT ANY GIVEN SPEED. THE CONTACT STATED THE FAILURE COULD BE CORRECTED BY TURNING THE ENGINE OFF AND RESTARTING; AND DISABLING THE BATTERY CABLE. THE FAILURE PROGRESSED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
SPEEDOMETER HAS FAILED, I UNDERSTAND THIS IS A OFTEN FAILING ITEM ON THE TRAILBLAZER. *TR
THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FAILED IN MY 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. NOT ONLY DID THE TACH AND SPEEDOMETER NOT WORK, THEY BOTH REGISTERED THE WRONG INFORMATION. AT TIMES, THE SPEEDOMETER WOULD BE READING 25 MPH WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS ACTUALLY GOING AROUND 55-60 MPH. IF YOU CAN REMEMBER THAT THEY ARE WRONG, IT DOES NOT CAUSE TOO MUCH TROUBLE, BUT CAN YOU IMAGINE IF SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T DRIVE THE VEHICLE TOO OFTEN, SAY A SPOUSE, AND THEY HEAD INTO A SHARP CURVE WITH A WARNING SIGN POSTED AT 25MPH, AND THEY LOOK AT THE SPEEDOMETER FOR VERIFICATION, AND FORGET THAT IT IS WRONG. THIS IS ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS AT NIGHT, WHEN IT IS HARDER TO JUDGE YOUR SPEED. GENERAL MOTORS REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE ENGINEERING FLAW ON THEIR VEHICLES. THERE ARE LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM. AS A RETIRED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER IN ONE OF THE THE LARGEST COUNTIES IN NORTH CAROLINA, I FEEL QUALIFIED TO MAKE THE STATEMENT THAT THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS DEFECT AND SHOULD PROMPT ACTION BY THE NHTSA TO FORCE GM TO REPAIR THESE DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS AT NO CHARGE. INSTEAD GM IS MAKING A LOT OF MONEY OFF THEIR CUSTOMERS FOR THE REPAIRS. FROM WHAT I CAN TELL, ABOUT $500 PER VEHICLE. THE SPEEDOMETERS GO OUT AROUND 40-50 K MILES. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER EXT. DURING THE WINTER, THE SPEEDOMETER MALFUNCTIONS. THE DIAL WILL SHOW 100 MPH WHEN THE VEHICLE IS TRAVELING 50 MPH. THE DEALER STATED THAT A NEW SPEEDOMETER WAS NEEDED AT THE COST OF $500. THE DEALER INFORMATION WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 83,216 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,000.
HEADLIGHTS DIM AND FLASH AT RANDOM TIMES WHILE DRIVING UNDER REGULAR CONDITIONS. BATTERY GAUGE ON DASHBOARD SHOWS VARYING VOLTAGES. GM/CHEVY DEALERSHIPS SUGGEST REPLACING ALTERNATOR, BUT THAT DOES NOT FIX THE PROBLEM.
SPEEDODMETER SOMETIMES WORK SOMETIMES NOT WORKING OR NOT WORKING AT ALL. *TR
GAUGE CLUSTER IS NON-FUNCTIONAL. (TACHOMETER & SPEEDOMETER). *TR
ON OUR 2004 TRAILBLAZER, AT 60,000 MILES, THE SPEEDOMETER STARTED TO MALFUNCTION, SHOWING YOU GOING FASTER THAN YOU ARE. IT DOES NOT ALWAYS RESET TO ZERO. I HAVE READ NUMEROUS REPORTS ABOUT SPEEDOMETER PROBLEMS FOR 2003-2007 GM TRUCKS AND SUVS. THERE SHOULD DEFINITELY BE A RECALL ON THIS AS THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY PROBLEM. I ALSO HAVE SEEN THAT IN CA THERE ARE LAWSUITS AND A CLASS ACTION SUIT PENDING. OUR LOCAL TV STATION WANTS TO DO SEGMENT ON THIS PROBLEM. *TR
SPEEDOMETER STUCK AND IS POINTING STRAIGHT DOWN. AT FIRST IT WAS STUCK AT 80MPH AND THEN JUST FELL ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM. NOW IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. MY 2004 TRAILBLAZER ONLY HAS 50K MILES. *TR
I BEGAN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH SPEEDOMETER AND TACHOMETER SEVERAL MONTHS AGO. THE TAC AND SPEEDOMETER GO CRAZY AND THEN GO DEAD WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. I TOOK IT IN AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS A FAULTY GAUGE CLUSTER THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND THAT IT WAS A PROBLEM ALREADY RECALLED IN OTHER GM VEHICLES. THE SERVICE TECH WAS ABLE TO UNHOOK THE BATTERY CABLE AND RESET THE GAUGES BUT THEY STILL AREN'T FIXED. I HAVE BEEN READING MULTITUDES OF COMPLAINTS OF THE SAME THING. MY TRAILBLAZER STARTED DOING THIS AROUND 51,000 MILES! *TR

WHEN DRIVING THE HEADLIGHTS ALL OF A SUDDEN JUST SHUT OFF. IT IS EXTREMELY SCARY AT NIGHT. I FOUND THAT I CAN HOWEVER USE THE BRIGHTS. THEY EVENTUALLY COME BACK ON. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR YEARS. I KEPT HOPING FOR A RECALL AND JUST FOUND THIS SITE TO REPORT IT. THIS HAS HAPPEN ON CITY STREETS AND HIGHWAYS. IT HAS HAPPENED WHEN THERE ARE STREET LIGHTS AND VEHICLE LIGHTS AND WHEN IT IS PITCH BLACK. THE 1ST TIME IT HAPPENED, I WAS DRIVING WITH MY CHILD IN THE VEHICLE ON THE FREEWAY.
I HAVE A 2004 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER AND FROM DAY ONE I'VE HAD PROBLEMS WITH GAS OVERFLOWING OUT OF MY VEHICLE WHEN PUMPING GAS IN TO IT. I'M NOT TRYING TO TOP OFF THE TANK, AT THE FIRST CLICK I STOP PUMPING AND GAS OVERFLOWS OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE ALL OVER MY CAR, MY FEET AND LEGS AND THE GROUND. SOMETIMES I DON'T EVEN GET THE WARNING CLICK THAT IT'S FULL. IT DOESN'T DO IT ALL THE TIME SO WHEN I'VE TAKEN IT TO MY DEALERSHIP THEY SAY THEY CAN'T DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. I'VE MET OTHER TRAILBLAZER OWNERS AT THE PUMP AND THEY SAY THEY HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS DOESN'T SEEM SAFE OR ENVIRONMENTALLY SOUND. I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE FOR 4 YEARS AND HAVE TRIED MANY DIFFERENT GAS STATIONS/PUMPS. *JB
SPEEDOMETER ON 2004 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER STARTED GOING HIGHER AND HIGHER UNTIL IT PEGGED ITSELF. DOES NOT WORK AND MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO KNOW WHAT SPEED YOU ARE GOING. *JB
WHEN FILLING UP WITH GAS, IT SPEWS FROM THE TANK WHEN GAS NOZZLE IS REMOVED. IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MUCH GAS IS IN TANK & HAPPENS EVEN WHEN TANK IS NOT BEING TOPPED OFF. ALSO WHEN FILLING, YOU MUST CONSTANTLY REPOSITION THE NOZZLE BECAUSE OF GAS BUILD UP IN TANK LINE WILL INADVERTENTLY CAUSE PUMP TO TURN OFF. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS, HOWEVER LAST NIGHT WAS THE FINAL STRAW, TRAILBLAZER HAD A QUARTER TANK OF GAS, AFTER PUMPING IN LESS THAN A GALLON, NOZZLE/PUMP STARTED ITS CLICKING/AUTO SHUT OFF. I REMOVED THE NOZZLE TO REPOSITION IT AS USUAL & UPON REMOVAL OF NOZZLE GAS SPRAYED (LIKE SPRAYING FROM A HOSE NOZZLE)FROM THE TANK AS IF UNDER PRESSURE. I WAS COMPLETELY COVERED WITH GAS FROM THE WAIST DOWN, I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT A LIGHT SPRAY BUT SOAKED THROUGH MY CLOTHES TO THE SKIN WITH GAS. BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF GAS LEFT ON THE GROUND I ESTIMATE THAT 2 OR 3 GALLONS SPRAYED FROM THE TANK, THE ONLY WAY IT WAS STOPPED WAS BY PUTTING THE CAP ON. ALTHOUGH NOT SERIOUSLY INJURED I AM NOW COVERED IN A RASH FROM THE GAS FROM THE WAIST DOWN. *JB
MAKE: CHEVROLET MODEL: TRAILBLAZER 04' EXT THE SPEEDOMETER ON THE VEHICLE HAS STOPPED WORKING. THIS SEEMS TO BE A HUGE PROBLEM WITH "TRAILBLAZERS" BETWEEN 03-04. MANY COMPLAINTS, BUT NO ACTION TAKEN BY CHEVY TO FIX THIS. I WOULD LIKE FOR THIS TO BE LOOKED INTO, AS THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE. PEOPLE DRIVING AROUND AND NOT KNOWING THEIR SPEED COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT?? *TR
THE SPEEDOMETER ON MY 2004 TRAILBLAZER WORKS INTERMITTENTLY. THIS BEGAN IN THE FALL OF 2007. SOMETIMES IT WORKS SEEMINGLY FINE. IT WILL THEN FREEZE ON A SPEED. SOMETIMES IT WILL REGISTER A SPEED THAT IS OBVIOUSLY INCORRECT. FOR EXAMPLE IT WILL REGISTER A VARIABLE SPEED THAT IS 20 OR MORE MPH FASTER THAN WE ARE TRAVELING. IT SOMETIMES POINTS STRAIGHT DOWN. THEN LAST WEEK "OUT OF THE BLUE" IT WORKED AGAIN FOR A FEW DAYS. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS ONLY LASTED A FEW DAYS. I NEVER KNOW HOW FAST I AM GOING AND TRY TO STAY IN THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC. I ASKED THE DEALER ABOUT THIS AND THEY DID NOT MENTION ANY OTHER PROBLEMS WITH THIS AND TOLD ME IT WOULD COST $500 TO REPAIR. THIS IS A REAL SAFETY ISSUE. *TR

SPEEDOMETER STARTED TO ACT ERRATIC AT ABOUT 40K MILES. NOW AT 72K MILES, DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. I JUST SPENT $200 TRYING TO REPAIR, ONLY TO FIND OUT AFTER THAT FAILED, THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH GM. HOW CAN THEY JUSTIFY RECALLING THE TAHOES, AVALANCHES, ETC, FOR THE SAME PROBLEM, BUT LEAVING THE TRAILBLAZERS OUT OF THIS SAFETY RECALL? *TR
THE GAS HAND AND THE TACHOMETER ARE NOT ACCURATELY CALCULATING. THE GAS HAND IS HALFWAY BETWEEN THE E AND THE F (AT THE 6 ON A CLOCK) WHEN THE TANK IS FULL AND VARIOUS TIMES OF THE DAY, IT MOVES ALL OVER THE DIAL. *TR
HAD BANGING NOISES UNDER THE CAR WHICH AT SOME POINT FELT AS IF MY SUSPENSION WAS BAD SINCE IT WAS NOT STABLE RIDING. THE SUV SEEMED AS IF IT WERE DARTING ACROSS THE ROADS AND LEFT US DRIVERS FEELING AS IF WE WERE ALWAYS ADJUSTING THE SUV TO KEEP IT IN THE LANE. TURNED OUT THAT ALL FOUR SWAY BAR LINKS WHERE BAD WHICH LEADS MY FAMILY TO WONDER WHY WOULD ALL FOUR SWAY BAR LINKS TWO IN THE FRONT & TWO IN THE REAR GO BAD AT THE SAME TIME AND IN LESS THEN A YEAR OF HAVING THE SUV INSPECTED BY THE SAME DEALER WHOM FOUND THE SWAY BAR LINKS FRONT & REAR TO BE BAD. SEEMS TO ME THAT THESE PARTS ARE NOT OF QUALITY AND POORLY MADE AND MAKE THE AUTO VERY UNSTABLE WHEN THEY FAIL AND COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT IN DOING SO. WE ENDED UP REPLACING THE TWO FRONT SWAY BAR LINKS BUT, ARE HOLDING OFF ON THE REAR FOR RIGHT NOW. I FEEL THESE SWAY BAR LINKS SHOULD BE LOOKED INTO FOR A POSSIBLE RECALL. *JB
WELL HAVE A REAR TAIL LIGHT BULB STOP WORKING AND BROKE THE OUTER SHELL. AND MY SUN ROOF STOPPED WORKING AND ISN'T COMPLETELY SEALED WHEN IT RAINS WATER LEAKS FROM THE TOP!!
I HAVE A 2004 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER. THE SPEEDOMETER WENT OUT LAST AUGUST. IT STARTED WITH STAYING ON 20 MPH WHILE I WAS STOPPED AND ENGINE WAS OFF. NOW IT HAS SINCE STOPPED COMPLETELY. IT IS NOW STUCK CLOCKWISE AT ABOUT 150 MPH WITH THE GAUGE POINTING TO NEUTRAL. *TR
CONTINENTAL TIRE P245/65R17 CONTI TRAC TR, TREAD SEPARATED DURING NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS DAMAGING VEHICLE (2004 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER) ALMOST CAUSING MAJOR ACCIDENT. CONTACTED CONTINENTAL, THEY SAY ITS NOT THEIR PROBLEM BECAUSE TIRE "EXPERIENCED IMPACT DAMAGE" THE TIRE WAS A REAR DRIVERS SIDE TIRE, AND THERE HAS BEEN NO IMPACT OF ANY KIND. *TR
INTERMITTENT PROBLEM WHERE THE ENGINE STALLS OR WILL NOT START. WHEN FAILURE OCCURS, INSTRUMENT PANEL BEGINS TO FLICKER LIGHTS AND GAUGES BOUNCE AROUND. *JB
2004 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER HEADLIGHTS AND DASH LIGHTS WENT OUT. CUSTOMER STATES THAT THEY CAME BACK ON AND THEN WENT OUT FOR 7 DAYS. MECHANIC STATED THEY WOULD HAVE TO DO THE ELIMINATING METHOD TO FIND OUT WHAT IS WRONG. *KB *TR
THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT KEPT COMING ON AND THEY REPLACED A SENSOR AND HAD ME BUY A NEW FUEL CAP WHICH DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM. I HAD TAKEN MY VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP 5 TIMES BEFORE THEY CORRECTLY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS A FUEL TANK VAPOR LEAK. THE ONLY WAY TO FIX THIS IS TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE FUEL TANK. MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN THE THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS AND THE FUEL TANK IS ON NATIONAL BACKORDER. I HAVE BEEN READING ABOUT THIS BEING A PROBLEM ON THE TRAILBLAZER EXT. ON MANY WEBSITES AND BLOGS. IT SEEMS THAT THIS WOULD BE OF A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN. *TR
TACHOMETER AND SPEEDOMETER NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. TACH WORKS FOR A SHORT TIME THEN DROPS TO ZERO. SPEEDOMETER SHOWS 30MPH =/- WHILE STOPPED. WHILE MOVING IT SHOWS 30MPH+/- OVER ACTUAL SPEED ACCORDING TO MY COMPUTER SCANNER. CONTACTED GM AND THEY SAID THERE WAS NOT RECORD OF THIS TYPE OF COMPLAINT AND IT IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ADHESIVE THAT HELD THE REAR GLASS LIFT GATE ON THE HINGE FAILED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY WOULD BE UNABLE TO RE-BOND THE ADHESIVE. THEY FURTHER STATED THAT THE WINDOW AND THE HINGE SHOULD BE REPLACED AS A UNIT. AS OF SEPTEMBER 13, 2007, THE DEALER HAD NOT REPAIRED THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 63,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 65,400.
I PURCHASED MY 04 TRAILBLAZER IN MAY OF 07. UP UNTIL JULY THERE WHERE NO PROBLEMS. SINCE THEN MY SPEEDOMETER AND GAS GAUGES HAVE BEEN ACTING UP. ON MANY OCCASIONS THEY GIVE THE WRONG READINGS. I HAVE BEEN STOPPED TWICE FOR SPEEDING WHEN I DID NOT THINK I WAS BECAUSE OF THE WRONG READING. LAST WEEK ON 5 SEP 07 THE SPEEDOMETER COMPLETELY FROZE GIVING ME NO READING AT ALL. SINCE THEN THE NEEDLE HAS STARTED MOVING BUT IS NO WHERE NEAR THE CORRECT READING. *TR
2004 CHEVROLTE TRAILBLAZER- IT CUTS OFF WHILE IN TRAFFIC. THERE IS A BLOG SITE WITH PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY COMPLIANING OF THE PROBLEM. DEALER SAYS, 'CANNOT DUPLICATE PROBLEM.' THE VEHICLE ALSO PRODUCES STRONG GASOLINE ODOR. DEALER SAYS, 'CANNOT DUPLICATE PROBLEM.' THIS PROBLEM IS ALSO LISTED ON THE BLOG COMPLAINT SITE WITH A WARNING NOT TO LEAVE THE VEHICLE IN THE GARAGE OR THE FUMES WILL IGNITE.

THE DEALER STATED THAT THE CAUSE OF FAILURE WAS THE ECM. THE CONTACT INFORMED THE DEALER NOT TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 36,167 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 36,000.
GAS GAUGE HAS NOT BEEN RELIABLE. LOW GAS LIGHT WILL COME ON AND GO OFF WHILE DRIVING AND DOES NOT REGISTER ADDITION OF GAS ACCURATELY. *JB
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD WHEN MY SPEEDOMETER CONTINUED TO RISE EVEN WHEN I STOPPED. I HAVE A 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE IN VARIOUS FORUMS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM AND CHEVROLET HAS YET TO RECALL OR FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY KNOW THAT THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FAILING BUT STILL WILL NOT PAY TO HAVE IT FIXED IN THE TRAILBLAZER. THE OTHER TRUCKS AND SUV'S HAVE BEEN FOUND WITH THE SAME PROBLEM AND CHEVROLET IS PAYING FOR THEM BUT NOT THE TRAILBLAZER. I WILL NEED TO PAY $450 FOR A NEW INSTRUMENT PANEL TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE A WORKING SPEEDOMETER. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE REAR SPOILER HAD SUDDENLY SEPARATED FROM THE REAR END OF THE VEHICLE. THE DEALERSHIP WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE COULD NOT BE SERVICED. PRIOR TO THE RECENT FAILURE THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP ON 3 PRIOR OCCASIONS WHERE THE SPOILER WAS REPLACED EACH TIME. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 82,000. AFTER COMING TO A STOP THE 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER EXT STALLED. I BROUGHT IT TO THE SANTA MARIA HOME MOTORS TWICE. THE FIRST TIME THEY ADDRESSED THE PROBLEM WITH THE 30,000 MILE SERVICE AND SAID SEE IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN. THE TRAILBLAZER STALLED AGAIN SO THEY REPROGRAMED THE COMPUTER AND CHARGED ME $85 TO DO THIS. TODAY MY WIFE WAS DRIVING THE TRAILBLAZER AND IT STALLED AGAIN. LIKE I HAVE TOLD THE SERVICE AGENT AT HOME MOTORS I WA S AFRAID THAT THIS WILL HAPPEN WHEN MY WIFE AND CHILDREN WERE CROSSING THE TRAIN TRACK, AND THEY COULD BE KILLED BY AN ONCOMING TRAIN. I WILL BRING THE TRAILBLAZER BACK TO THE DEALER TOMORROW. *AK
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. ON JUNE 20, 2007, WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE HOOD OF THE VEHICLE FLEW OPEN AND SMASHED THE WINDSHIELD. THE CONTACT COULD NOT SEE, BUT WAS ABLE TO PULL OFF THE ROAD SAFELY. HE DROVE APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH TO A MECHANIC WHO INSPECTED THE VEHICLE. THE MECHANIC COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE IS UNDER WARRANTY AND SERVICE HAS BEEN DENIED. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 31,662.
THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WENT OUT ON MY 04 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER WHICH I PURCHASED NEW AT AROUND 40K. CHEVY WILL DO NOTHING TO HELP AND IN THE MEANTIME I HAVE NO SPEEDOMETER, TACHOMETER, OR GAS GAUGE. *TR

IN APRIL 2007, THE '04 TRAILBLAZER'S TRANSMISSION FAILED. AT THE TIME THE VEHICLE HAD LESS THAN 50,000 MILES. I DRIVE THE CAR VERY WELL - MOSTLY HIGHWAY MILES AS I COMMUTE FOR WORK - AND THE VEHICLE HAD NEVER BEEN USED TO TOW. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPAIRED AT A CHEVROLET DEALER, AND LESS THAN 2 MONTHS LATER, THE TRANSMISSION FAILED AGAIN. I AM VERY UNSATISFIED WITH THE QUALITY OF THIS VEHICLE.*AK

BOUGHT A 2004 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER AND FUEL GAUGE IS NOT WORKING ON IT. QUIT RIGHT AFTER WE BOUGHT IT. WE HAD ALSO BOUGHT A 2000 CHEVY SILVERADO IN 2004 FUEL GAUGE WENT OUT ON IT, IT HAS THE ELECTRONIC SENSOR/SENDING UNIT BUILT ONTO THE FUEL PUMP. FUEL PUMP WORKS GREAT JUST THE SENSOR IS BROKE. WHAT IS WITH THESE ON THE CHEVROLETS. I HAVE HEARD OF OTHERS WITH SAME ISSUE ON THEIR CHEVROLETS. *TR
