MY GAS GAUGE HAD BEGUN ACTING UP. IT WOULD SAY EMPTY EVEN WHEN FILLED. I WOULD FILL IT UP AND THE GAUGE WOULD GO TO HALF THEN BACK UP TO FULL. I DID NOT KNOW FOR SURE HOW MUCH GAS WAS IN THE VEHICLE. I WAS DRIVING AND THE CAR STALLED OUT BECAUSE IT RAN OUT OF GAS EVEN THO THE GAUGE SAID FULL AND I WAS REAR ENDED. *TR
GAS GAUGE AND SPEEDOMETER ON CHEVY TRAILBLAIZER 2005. NO CORRECT READING. *TR
I HAVE A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER WITH A DEFECTIVE GAS GAUGE. REGARDLESS HOW MUCH GAS IN THE TANK THE GAUGE READS 1/4 TANK OR LESS, MOST OF THE TIME THE LOW FUEL LIGHT IS LIT INDICATING THERE IS NO GAS IN THE CAR. I AM RELUCTANT TO PAY THE $900 TO REPAIR THIS AS THERE IS AMPLE EVIDENCE THE REPLACEMENT PART IS NO BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL AND THE CONDITION RETURNS WITHIN WEEKS. THIS PART IS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED WITH A FUNCTIONAL GAUGE. *TR

I HAVE A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER LS EXT AND THE SPEEDOMETER, FUEL, AND BATTERY GAUGES DO NOT WORK PROPERLY. THERE IS A DIMMING OF THE LIGHTS WHILE DRIVING AND PEOPLE SOMETIMES THINK I AM FLASHING MY LIGHTS AT THEM. ACCORDING TO HTTP://FORUMS.TRAILVOY.COM/SHOWTHREAD.PHP?T=18419&HIGHLIGHT=GAS+GUAGE&PAGE=2 THIS HAS BEEN A KNOWN PROBLEM FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND NO ONE HAS DONE ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER FORUMS OUT THERE THAT SAY THE SAME THING,THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD AND COULD CAUSE MAJOR PROBLEMS INCLUDING ACCIDENTS, SPEEDING TICKETS, RUNNING OUT OF GAS...THE PROBLEMS ARE ENDLESS I GUESS. THE GAS GAUGE ON MY 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER IS ALWAYS ON "E" AND THE EMPTY INDICATOR LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON, EVEN AFTER I HAVE FILLED UP MY GAS TANK. THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR ABOUT 2-3 WEEKS NOW. I READ SOME STATEMENTS ONLINE THAT SEVERAL GM OWNERS OF 2005 TRAILBLAZERS ARE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE, CAUSING ME TO BELIEVE THAT THE ISSUE LIES WITH THE CAR ITSELF. *TR
THE GAS GAUGE LIGHT COMES ON EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE FILLED UP THE CAR. THIS HAPPENS NOW ON A REGULAR BASIS. THE LIGHT WILL START MAKING A NOISE WHEN IT DETECTS THERE IS NO GAS, BUT WE JUST FILLED UP THE CAR. IT IS GOING TO COST 1,000 DOLLARS AT THE DEALERSHIP AND HAVE NOTICED A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE HAVE THIS SAME PROBLEM. *TR
THE GAS GAUGE IN MY 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER HAS STOPPED WORKING. IT BEGAN TO SHOW EMPTY AFTER FILLING MY TANK BUT THEN REGISTERING FULL ABOUT 50 MILES AFTER DRIVING. NOW IT ALWAYS SHOWS EMPTY AND I HAVE TO RECORD MY MILEAGE TO KEEP TRACK OF MY GAS. I AM ALWAYS CONCERNED I MAY RUN OUT OF GAS IF I MISCALCULATE MY REMAINING GAS. I CAN'T TAKE MY 2005 TRAILBLAZER ON VACATION SINCE I HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING HOW MUCH GAS IS IN MY VEHICLE. MY WIFE RAN OUT OF GAS ON THE HIGHWAY AND WAS ALMOST IN AN ACCIDENT. THE DEALER WANTED ALMOST $800 DOLLARS AND TWO DAYS TO FIX THE GAS GAUGE. I CANNOT AFFORD THE REPAIRS SO I AM FORCED TO HOPE I WILL BE SAFE IN MY VEHICLE. *TR
FUEL GAUGE ALWAYS READS EMPTY THE SENDER UNIT IS AN EXTREMELY COMMON DEFECT ON THIS VEHICLE. *TR
WHILE DRIVING, THE GAS GAUGE WHEN FROM NEARLY FULL TO EMPTY, CAUSING THE LOW FUEL WARNING LIGHT TO COME UP. IT THEN INTERMITTENTLY WHEN FROM EMPTY, BACK UP TO FULL, AND THEN DOWN TO READING EMPTY AGAIN. THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED WITH A FULL TANK OF GAS THE DAY PRIOR AND HAD ONLY BEEN DRIVEN FOR SEVERAL SHORT ERRANDS AROUND TOWN. THIS HAS OCCURRED BOTH TIMES THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN ON AUG 17TH. TODAY (AUG 18TH)WE TOOK THE VEHICLE AROUND THE BLOCK FOR A TEST DRIVE. IT STARTED OUT READING FULL TANK. AT ABOUT 30MPH IS DROPPED TO EMPTY. WHILE SITTING IN THE PARKING LOT WHEN GETTING HOME, THE GAUGE WAS GOING UP AND DOWN. AN ONLINE SEARCH SHOWS THAT THE LIKELY CAUSE IS THE FUEL SENDING UNIT. THIS IS APPARENTLY A WELL-KNOWN ISSUE WITH 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZERS. THERE WERE ALSO SEVERAL REPORTS OF VEHICLES ACTUALLY SHUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING DUE TO THE VEHICLE BELIEVING IT WAS OUT OF FUEL WHEN IT WAS NOT. CHEVY REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE THERE IS A PROBLEM, BUT IS HAPPY TO TAKE YOUR $800 FOR THE REPAIR. ANOTHER CAUSE COULD BE THE STEPPER MOTOR FOR THE GAUGE, WHICH FROM ONLINE RESEARCH APPEARS TO BE ANOTHER KNOWN ISSUE WITH THE TRAILBLAZER THAT GM REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE. *TR
AFTER FILLING UP THE GAS TANK, THE FUEL GAUGE LIGHT STAYS ON AND REMAINS ON EMPTY. *TR
I HAVE A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER AND IN THE SUMMER OF 2010 I FILLED MY CAR UP WITH GAS AND THE GAS GAUGE NEEDLE WENT OVER TO EMPTY. THE NEEDLE WOULD FLUCTUATE BACK AND FORTH FROM EMPTY TO FULL SO I DIDN'T KNOW HOW MUCH GAS I REALLY HAD. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. THEY SAID THE FUEL SENSOR IS DEFECTIVE AND IT WOULD COST ABOUT $1000 TO REPAIR. I DID SOME RESEARCH ONLINE AND THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH MOST TRAILBLAZERS. I BELIEVE THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL BECAUSE YOU CAN'T TELL IF YOU ARE ABOUT TO RUN OUT OF GAS OR NOT. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL GAUGE ALWAYS READ EMPTY ALTHOUGH THE FUEL TANK WAS COMPLETELY FULL. THE DEALER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 156,000.
MY BLOWER FOR MY A/C AND MY HEATER HAS STOPPED WORKING. *TR
2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER EXT SPEEDOMETER NOT WORKING. AT A STOP IT READS 50 MPH. *TR
I HAVE A 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE MECHANIC BECAUSE THE HEADLIGHT AND THE FUEL GAUGE WHERE NOT WORKING. THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE WIRING FOR THE HEADLIGHT AS IT HAD MELTED. THE FUEL SENSOR WAS GOING TO COST 700. SO I DID NOT HAVE IT REPAIRED. THIS IS A CONSTANT SOURCE OF STRESS AND WORRY FOR ME AS I MAY RUN OUT OF FUEL WITH MY FAMILY ON BOARD. SINCE THE SENSOR DOES NOT WORK I AM LEERING OF THE FUEL USED OPTION AS WELL. THE LOW FUEL LIGHT IS ON THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME EVEN WHEN THE TANK IS FULL. *TR

HEADLIGHTS JUST SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING. NO RHYME OR REASON TO IT. PULLING OVER AND FLICKING THE LIGHTS ON AND OFF FOR A WHILE USUALLY GETS THEM BACK ON. EXACT SAME PROBLEM AS THE CURRENT PROBE INTO THE SAME MODEL YEAR OF DODGE AND CHRYSLER MINIVANS! *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE HEADLIGHTS FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL REPAIR FACILITY WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE HEADLIGHT CONNECTORS HAD OVERHEATED AND MELTED THE WIRES. THE CONNECTORS WERE REMOVED AND REPLACED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,400 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 85,684.
FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE, IN-TANK GAUGE DEFECTIVE UN-RELIABLE, INTERMITTENT OR RANDOM READINGS SHOWN ON GAS GAUGE AND YELLOW LOW FUEL WARNING LIGHT NOT INDICATING ACTUAL FUEL TANK LEVEL. RESULTED IN A SERIOUS UN-SAFE CONDITION ABRUPTLY RUNNING OUT OF GAS ON THE FREE-WAY NEEDING TO PULL OFF ROADWAY WITH NO POWER AND LIMITED CONTROL. WITH INCREASING NUMBERS OF CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS FOR THE SAME ISSUE GM IS AWARE OF THE DEFECTIVE DESIGN, PRODUCT RELIABILITY INSUFFICIENCY, THAT IS CONTRIBUTING TO EXPOSING OPERATOR, AND / OR PASSENGERS TO HAZARDOUS UNSAFE CONDITIONS WHICH MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. *TR
FAILURE TO GIVE AN ACCURATE READING OF AMOUNT OF FUEL. *JS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WOULD NEED TO BE RESET BUT NOT REPAIRED. THE DEALER RESET THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER HOWEVER THE RESET WAS ONLY A TEMPORARY REPAIR. ONE YEAR LATER, AFTER REFUELING THE VEHICLE, THE FUEL LEVEL SENSOR FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 97,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 105,000.
05 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER SPEEDOMETER CLUSTER IS DEFECTIVE...RPM CONTINUES TO MALFUNCTION ALONG WITH SPEEDOMETER BREAKAGE. *TR
FUEL GAUGE STARTED TO GIVE A FALSE READING, THEN EVENTUALLY STOPPED WORKING ENTIRELY. THE VEHICLE ONLY HAD ABOUT 50,000+ MILES ON IT AT THE TIME. WE EVENTUALLY PAID $360 TO GET THE FUEL SENSOR/GAUGE REPLACED. I HAVE READ NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS ISSUE ON THE TRAILBLAZER. ON AT LEAST TWO OCCASIONS, WE WERE PUT INTO A WORRISOME SITUATION DUE TO THIS FUEL GAUGE ISSUE. THIS IS NOT AN ISSUE THAT SHOULD BE HAPPENING ON A VEHICLE WITH THIS KIND OF MILEAGE WHEN THE PROBLEM WAS FIRST ENCOUNTERED. *KB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. AFTER REFUELING HE NOTICED THE FUEL GAUGE READ EMPTY. HE BEGAN TO DRIVE AND THE FUEL GAUGE BEGAN TO DISPLAY A FUEL READING WHICH WAS NOT ACCURATE. THE FAILURE WOULD RECUR WHEN DRIVING AT ANY SPEED OR WHILE STOPPED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE EXAMINED FOR THE CAUSE OF FAILURE AND WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 77,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
FUEL SENSOR INACCURATE IN 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER; OCCURS CONSTANTLY, IT IS NEVER CORRECT, MUST USE ODOMETER RESET. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO CORRECT IT BECAUSE MY DEALER ADVISED THAT THEY HAVE REPAIRED SEVERAL IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS. IT IS AN EXPENSIVE REPAIR. *TR

GAS GUAGE READS EMPTY EVEN THOUGH FULL TANK, BATTERY AND TEMP GAUGE ALSO GO UP AND DOWN, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON. I KNOW OF MORE THAN 8 PEOPLE WITH SIMILAR VEHICLES OF DIFFERENT MODEL YEARS WITH SAME ISSUE. CHEVY SENT A LETTER SAYING THAT THEY WOULD PAY 50% FOR THE REPAIR OF THE OF THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER IF THE VEHICLE HAD LESS THAN 120,00 MILES OR WAS 10 YEARS OLD OR LESS. MY VEHICLE NOW HAS 146,000 MILES, BUT THE PROBLEM STARTED A YEAR AGO WHEN THERE WERE ONLY APPROX. 120,000 MILES ON IT. I FEEL THAT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE BEING THAT MY WIFE TRANSPORTS MY CHILDREN IN THIS VEHICLE AND SHOULD I NEGLECT TO TELL HER SHE NEEDS FUEL, SHE RUNS THE RISK OF BEING STRANDED SOMEWHERE WITH MY FAMILY, OR WORSE ON A HEAVILY TRAVELED ROAD WHERE THE VEHICLE COULD STALL WITH NO WARNING. DURING A ROAD TRIP FROM TEXAS TO FLORIDA THE FUEL GAUGE IN THE 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER DROPPED TO EMPTY. IN ADDITION THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL INSTANCES OF THE CAR COMPLETELY SHUTTING OFF EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS FUEL IN THE TANK DUE TO THE GAUGE AS READING EMPTY. THE FUEL GAUGE / FUEL LEVEL SENSOR ON THE 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER IS DEFECTIVE. THE GAUGE DOES NOT REPORT THE CORRECT LEVEL OF FUEL IN THE TANK AND CONTINUOUSLY SHOWS EMPTY EVEN WHEN THE TANK IS COMPLETELY FULL. THIS COULD LEAD TO THE VEHICLE STALLING IN LOCATIONS SUCH AS HIGHWAYS THAT PUT THE OCCUPANTS IN DANGER. CHEVY INFORMS THAT THE FUEL LEVEL SENSOR WILL NEED REPLACED INSIDE THE FUEL TANK. THE COST OF THIS REPAIR IS QUOTED BETWEEN $800 AND $1000. I FEEL THAT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT DESERVES ACTION BY THE MANUFACTURE TO HAVE THE ISSUE CORRECTED. *TR
THE FUEL TANK SENSOR IN THE VEHICLE IS DEFECTIVE. AFTER PUTTING APPROXIMATELY $50.00 WORTH OF GAS IN THE TANK THE LOW FUEL LIGHT GOES ON AND THE GAS GAUGE DOES NOT MOVE OUT OF THE LOW FUEL POSITION. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH AT NIGHT. THE HEADLIGHTS WERE ACTIVATED AND SUDDENLY BECAME INOPERABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WITH LIMITED VISIBILITY. THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF. WHEN THE VEHICLE RESTARTED, THE HEADLIGHTS WERE OPERABLE. THE VEHICLE RESUMED NORMALLY. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON TWO DIFFERENT TIMES. IN ADDITION, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND GAUGES WOULD NOT FUNCTION CORRECTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS. THE TECHNICIAN INFORMED THAT THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 122,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
SPEEDOMETER MALFUNCTION. *TR
ON JULY 3, 2010 I BOUGHT A USED 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN IN MY POSSESSION FOR A FEW DAYS WHEN I NOTICED THAT THE GAS MEASUREMENT COULD NOT BE RIGHT. I REFILLED IT SEVERAL TIMES. THEN, AFTER REFILL, IT STILL SHOWED ZERO. IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT, INCONVENIENT AND DANGEROUS TO HAVE TO COUNT MILES, AS A PARENT WITH A SMALL CHILD ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. THE CAR RAN OUT OF GAS ON THE WAY TO A FAMILY FUNERAL. FORTUNATELY I WAS ABLE TO GET OVER OFF OF THE HIGHWAY. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS AND IT SEEMS THAT GM SHOULD ISSUE A RECALL FOR PRODUCT DEFECT. ON A HIGHWAY SITUATION, THE ACCIDENT ENSUING FROM A STALLED CAR COULD BE FATAL. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THE BRAKE LIGHTS WOULD CONTINUOUSLY FAIL WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT REPLACED THE FUSE, RELAY SWITCH, BULBS AND THE CIRCUIT BOARD IN AN ATTEMPT TO CORRECT THE FAILURE BUT TO NO AVAIL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE VIN WAS NOT ACCEPTED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 78,000.
MY 2005 TRAILBLAZER FUEL GAUGE SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING. IT ALWAYS READS NO FUEL NOW EVEN AFTER FILLING UP. I HAVE READ ONLINE AND IT SEEMS MANY CONSUMERS ARE HAVING THIS ISSUE AND GM WANTS OVER $1,000.00 DOLLARS TO FIX. HAD EXTENDED WARRANTY THAT EXPIRED AT 60,000 AND WAS TOLD THAT SINCE THE WARRANTY WAS 555 MILES OUT OF COVERAGE, IT WOULD COST ME $500.00 TO FIX. LIGHTS ON INSTRUMENT PANEL OUT AS WELL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 149,000.

FUEL GAUGE FAILURE, 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER WITH ONLY 37,000 MILES. VEHICLE RUNS OUT OF GAS BECAUSE OF INACCURATE ERRATIC READINGS BEING SENT TO GAS GAUGE. THIS HOUSEHOLD HAS TWO DRIVERS AND THE PROBLEM IS MANIFESTED WHEN THE SECONDARY DRIVER RUNS OUT OF FUEL IN TRAFFIC CAUSING THE POTENTIAL FOR BOTH AN ACCIDENT OR MAJOR TRAFFIC JAM. INFORMATION ON THE WEB SUGGESTS THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM FOR GM, BUT WAS NEVER ADDRESSED. THE EXPENSE TO REPAIR IS VERY HIGH. *TR
JUST RECENTLY WHEN I FILLED UP MY TANK IT WOULD SHOW THE FUEL GAUGE AS EMPTY AND MY LIGHT WOULD COME ON. ABOUT 50 TO 75 MILES LATER IT WOULD LEVEL OUT TO BE CORRECT, BUT I WOULD ALSO RESET MY MILES JUST TO MAKE SURE. WITHIN THE LAST 2 MONTHS IT HAS COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING. MY GAS LIGHT STAYS ON ALL THE TIME AND I CANNOT GET ACCURATE MILEAGE EITHER. AFTER RESETTING MY MILEAGE AND DRIVING I BELIEVED TO HAVE 75 MILES LEFT ON MY TANK WHICH WAS NOT TRUE. IT DID NOT SEEM TO BE SO MUCH OF A HASSLE UNTIL I BROKE DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF TOWN, BECAUSE OUT OF GAS. IT IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING TO LEARN IT IS A WIDE SPREAD ISSUE AND THAT THERE HAS BEEN NO RECALL ON THIS PART YET. I AM A MOTHER OF 4 CHILDREN AND FOR ME TO BREAK DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF TOWN IS A SCARY AND UNEASY THOUGHT. I RELY ON MY VEHICLE TO KEEP MYSELF AND FAMILY SAFE AND THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS MAJOR THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER REFUELING THE VEHICLE, THE FUEL GAUGE DISPLAYED AN INACCURATE EMPTY READING. THE FUEL GAUGE ADJUSTED AND BEGAN TO DISPLAY VARIOUS IMPROPER READINGS ONCE THE CONTACT BEGAN TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED ON A FEW OCCASIONS WHEN THE FUEL GAUGE DISPLAYED AN EMPTY READING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO HAVE THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 91,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 100,600. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
SPEEDOMETER, OIL PRESSURE GAUGE AND VOLT METER STICK, DROP TO LOWEST POINT OR SURGE TO HIGHEST POINT. SPEEDOMETER WILL STICK AT ONE SPEED OR STICK AND THEN ONLY MOVE UP FROM THAT POINT. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT SPEED I'M TRAVELING WHEN THIS HAPPENS. IT HAPPENS MOST OFTEN WHEN IT RAINS AND WILL REMAIN INACCURATE FOR A SEVERAL DAYS. NOT KNOWING HOW FAST YOU ARE GOING IS DANGEROUS. *TR
