WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY WHEN A I HEARD A BANG NOISE FROM THE ENGINE. ENGINE COMPLETELY DIED, NO WARNING SIGNS NOTHING. MECHANIC LOOKED AT IT, THE ENGINE LOCKED AND TOLD ME IT WAS THE TIMING BELT AND IT GAVE OUT, AND I NEED TO REPLACE THE ENGINE COMPLETELY. LOOKED ONLINE THERE HAS BEEN SIMILAR CASES AND GM IS DOING NOTHING ABOUT IT. NOW I'M LOOKING AT $7,880 TO GET THE CAR RUNNING. THE VALUE OF THE CAR IS OVER 8K MECHANIC SAID ITS A TOTAL LOST BECAUSE ITS ABOUT WHAT THE CAR IS VALUED. VERY DISAPPOINTING, HAVE HAD A LOT OF TROUBLE WITH THIS CAR.
WHILE DRIVING NORMALLY ON A FREEWAY WHERE SPEED LIMITS ARE 65+ THE CAR SUDDENLY LOST ENGINE POWER AND ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH SPEEDS ABOVE 15 MPH. SEVERAL CODES APPEAR "SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL" "REDUCED ENGINE POWER" "TRACTION CONTROL OFF". THE CAUSE IS A FAULTY THROTTLE BODY, WHICH IS NOT A SERVICEABLE PART IT JUST RANDOMLY FAILS. ONLINE FORUMS SHOW REPORTS OF THIS PROBLEM 100S AND 100S OF TIMES DATING BACK TO AT LEAST 2014, ON LOW MILEAGE VEHICLES NO LESS. DEALERS DENY KNOWING OF A PROBLEM. CHEVY HAS BEEN NOTIFIED MANY TIMES BY MANY CUSTOMERS YET NO RECALLS HAVE BEEN ISSUED AND DEALERSHIPS AREN'T AWARE OF THE PROBLEM IN ORDER TO FIX IT. A LOSS OF ENGINE POWER LIKE THIS COULD BE FATAL. IF YOUR FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO BE NEAR A DEALERSHIP YOU MIGHT FIND A REPAIR. OTHERWISE YOUR STUCK TRYING TO LIMP IT TO A SHOP, FIND THE PART AND RESET THE IDLE CODES. THIS IS TURNING INTO A VERY EXPENSIVE REPAIR.
AT 116,000 MILES THE TIMING CHAIN IS BREAKING/STRETCHING WHICH WILL CAUSE THE ENGINE TO STOP OPERATING WHILE IN MOTION.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE TRACTION CONTROL WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
ON THE DASHBOARD COME ON SERVICE AIR BAG
MY TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON WHILE DRIVING ON A DRY PAVED ROAD THEN MY DASH FLASHED TRACTION CONTROL OFF, SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL, SERVICE STABILITRAK, ENGINE POWER IS REDUCED, AND THEN IT JUST SLOWED DOWN TO 10MPH AND I COULD NOT GO ANY FASTER. I PULLED OVER SHUT THE CAR OFF AND WAITED 5 MINUTES. IT STARTED AND RAN WELL TILL I GOT HOME. THE NEXT MORNING THE SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED. IT HAS NOW HAPPENED 6 TIMES IN A 72 HOUR PERIOD. PLEASE GO TO THIS VIDEO LINK TO SEE THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON HAVING THIS ISSUE WITH A TRAVERSE [XXX]. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE SHOOK VIOLENTLY IMMEDIATELY AFTER IT WAS PURCHASED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SHOCKS WERE FRACTURED. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO WIILIS CHEVROLET BUICK (2707 S DUPONT BLVD, SMYRNA, DE 19977) AND TEST DRIVEN. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE SHOCKS WOULD RETURN TO NORMAL EVENTUALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE, PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER, AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 126,000.
OUT OF NO WHERE MY AIR BAG LIGHTS CAME ON. THE SENSOR IN THE PASSENGER SEAT ISNT DETECTING WEIGHT AND STAYS OFF ALL THE TIME NOW, ALSO MY SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON FOR THE DRIVER AS WELL. I AM ALSO HAVING POWER STEERING ISSUES AS WELL. MY POWER STEERING FLUID IS FULL, NO LEAKS BUT THE STEERING IS HARD TO TURN. HAD THE STEERING PUMP CHECKED AND WAS TOLD NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH IT. MY LAST ISSUE IS WITH THE SPEAKERS THEY CUT IN AND CUT OUT ALL THE TIME AND NINE TIMES OUT OF TEN I ONLY HAVE MY TWEETERS FOR SOUND. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH CHEVY RIGHT NOW.
I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE IN JANUARY 2017 WITH ONE OWNER HAVING HAD IT. HERE IT IS NOW 2 YEARS LATER AND I HAVE NUMEROUS PROBLEMS WITH MY VEHICLE. SOME OTHER OWNERS HAVE HAD BUT IT STILL ISN'T PART OF A RECALL. THE PAST YEAR I HAVE ALREADY SPENT OVER $1000 TO FIX IT. ITEMS ALREADY REPLACED INCLUDE SEVERAL SENSORS, WHEEL BEARING, POWER STEERIG PUMP AND A BATTERY. WHAT STILL NEEDS REPLACING: RACK AND PINYON, SHOCKS AND STRUTS, AND I HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM. CURRENTLY, MY WINDOWS GO DOWN BUT WON'T GO UP BECAUSE THERE IS AN INTERMITTENT ELECTRICAL PROBLEM AND MY RADIO CUTS IN AND OUT. I AM STILL PAYING FOR THE CAR AND NO ONE IS HELPING. OTHER USERS HAVE REPORTED SOME OF THE SAME THING. IF I GO TO MY MECHANIC HE TELLS ME THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS. BUT WHEN I LOOK AT MY MAKE AND MODEL THERE IS ONLY 4 RECALLS AND IF I GO BY VIN SPECIFICALLY THERE IS NONE. THIS IS RIDICULOUS ! SOMEONE SHOULD HELP. WITH A CAR THAT ISN'T 'THAT OLD' I SHOULDN'T BE HAVING THIS MANY ISSUES. I HAVE 154,039 MILES ON IT. IT ISN'T SAFE. MY WINDOW IS STUCK RIGHT NOW I'M THE DOWN POSITION. I CAN MOVE IT DOWN MORE BUT NOT UP. I HAVE 3 KIDS. MY CAR SEEMS TO NOT WORK MORE THAN IT DOES. NOTHING LIKE SCREWING OVER THE LITTLE GUY...CHEVY NUMBER ONE ON SAFETY YA RIGHT
SEVERAL MONTHS AGO ONSTAR NOTIFIED ME THAT I NEEDED TO TAKE MY VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE DUE TO A WARNING THAT STATED THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE AIRBAG, I DID TAKE THE CAR TO THE DEALER AND THEY DID NOT FIND ANYTHING. DURING THE LAST FEW DAYS I KEEP GETTING A WARNING THAT SAYS "SERVICE AIRBAG." I WENT ONLINE TO SEE IF ANYONE ELSE WAS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. SURE ENOUGH, OVER 30 PEOPLE, AND THERE COULD BE A LOT MORE, HAD REPORTED THE SAME TYPE OF PROBLEM THAT I AM HAVING. THE "SERVICE AIRBAG" WARNING LIGHT COMES ON WHILE I AM DRIVING AND STAYS ON FOR HOURS, THEN IT WILL GO OFF, BUT COME BACK ON AGAIN. SOMETIMES IT COMES ON AND STAYS ON BEFORE I LEAVE THE DRIVEWAY. IN SOME CASES OTHER OWNERS STATED THAT THEY HAD TO PAY MORE THAN $1,200 TO HAVE A REPAIR DONE AND THEN THE PROBLEM APPEARED AGAIN. I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE BRAND NEW AND ONLY HAVE 45,000 MILES ON IT. THIS IS CLEARLY A FACTORY DEFECT AND I WOULD HOPE THAT NO ONE IS SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED BEFORE SOME ACTION IS TAKEN BY YOUR AGENCY TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM RECTIFIED BY GENERAL MOTORS.
MY TRAVERSE HAS BEEN LOOSING POWER TRACK CONTROL CUTS OFF AND WILL NOT COME BACK ON. AT TIMES IT DOESN'T SHIFT GEARS. WHEN THE TEMP GETS DOWN IN THE 30'S IT MESSES UP. CAN'T GO VERT FAR WITHOUT IT STOPPING. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE I'VE HAD THIS CAR.
DRIVERS INFORMATION CENTER DOES NOT WORK IN DAYLIGHT. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING AND NOTHING IS WORKING. SO IF SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY CAR I WON'T KNOW TILL AT NIGHT.
BAD TIMING CHAIN AND HAD TO GET IT REPAIRED AT JUST OVER 100,000 WHEN WARANTEE EXPIRED
**POWER STEERING RECALL*** I WAS DRIVING MY VEHICLE AND IN THE MIST OF DRIVING MY VEHICLE STEERING BECAME HARD. AS I WENT TO MAKE A TURN MY STEERING LOCKED UP AND I COULD NOT MAKE A TURN WITHOUT THE USE OF FORCE. WHEN I HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE MECHANIC I WAS TOLD THE POWER STEERING PUMP WENT OUT AND POWER STEERING RACKET PINON NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.
THESE ARE MY SECOND SET OF GOODYEAR FORTERA TIRES. THEY ARE RATED FOR 60 THOUSAND MILES AND I HAVE GOTTEN 20,000 TO 25,000 WHEN THEY BECAME SEVERELY CRACKED .
TRACTION CONTROL WENT HAYWIRE WHILE GOING ABOUT 25 MILES AN HOUR, IT STARTED SHAKING UNCONTROLLABLY, "TRACTION CONTROL" LIGHT CAME ON AND WENT OFF ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. RPMS REVVED UP TO 5K. IT HAS DONE IT 4 TIME WITHIN A 24 HOUR PERIOD. MECHANIC HOOKED IT UP TO THE COMPUTER AND IT DETECTED NOTHING. ONLY THING THAT SHOWED UP WAS THAT IT LOST CONNECTION TO THE TRANSMISSION. WHEN THE ENGINE REVVED IT, IT SEEMED LIKE IT WENT OUT OF GEAR WHILE THE RPMS WENT HIGH, IT FELT AS IF I PUT IT IN NEUTRAL WHILE GOING AROUND 25 MPH.
STABILITY TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM PROBLEMS. I HAVE A 2011 CHEVY TRAVERSE. PROBLEMS ERUPTED AFTER I FINISHED PAYING IT OFF. I HAD THIS CAR FOR 7 YEARS NOW AND 100K MILES NOW. FOR THE PAST YEAR THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM HAS FAILED MULTIPLE TIMES. AT FIRST I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND SPENT OVER $3500 TO FIX IT. A FEW MONTHS AFTER THE PROBLEM CAME BACK. THE DEALER WAS ASKING FOR ALMOST $4000 STATING THAT IT WAS SOMETHING ELSE NOT FIXED BEFORE. EVEN A MECHANIC FROM THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME TO GET RID OF IT BECAUSE LOTS OF PEOPLE WERE COMPLAINING WITH SAME ISSUES. AT FIRST THE "TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM OFF" COMES ON THE SCREEN EVERY TIME I DRIVE FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME. FOLLOWED BY "SERVICE STABILITY TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM". NOW AS SOON AS I TURN THE CAR ON THE SAME MESSAGES APPEAR. JUST A WEEK AGO I WAS IN THE HIGHWAY AND "POWER LOSS WARNING" CAME OUT IN THE SCREEN. I COULDN'T ACCELERATE, THANK GOD I WAS NEAR AN EXIT AND WAS ABLE TO GET OUT IN TIME BEFORE IT STOPPED COMPLETELY. TURNED OFF THE CAR AND WAITED A FEW MNTS. TURNED ON AGAIN AND DROVE OFF ON THE SERVICE ROAD. I WAS NOT ABLE TO GO FASTER THAN 10 MPH. NOW THE CAR IS IN MY DRIVEWAY AND I'M GETTING READY TO GET RID OF IT ASAP! BUT JUST NOTICED THAT I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH SUCH A PROBLEM. WE NEED A RECALL FAST. I BOUGHT THIS CAR FOR 47K THINKING THAT IT WAS GOING TO LAST JUST LIKE THE OLD CHEVYS. BUT THIS NEW TECH IS KILLING IT! WE NEED A RECALL ON THIS FAST!
THE VEHICLE IS ONLY 7 YEARS OLD AND HAS THREE (3) FAILED SEAT BELTS. I CALLED GM AND THEY SAID ONE OF THE BELTS IS ON RECALL BUT THEY WILL NOT REPAIR THE OTHERS. I AM A RECENT WIDOW WITH 4 CHILDREN UNDER 8 YEARS OLD DRIVNG THIS CAR WITH FAILED SEAT BELTS. I NEED HELP TO GET THE SEAT BELTS FIXED SO THE MY CHILDREN WILL BE SAFE AND I WILL BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAW.

AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THAT THE TIMING CHAIN NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE DEALER (GARBER BUICK GMC, 5255 US-1, FORT PIERCE, FL 34982, (772) 467-0835) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL OR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE TO PROVIDE A REMEDY. THE VEHICLE WAS EXCLUDED FROM THE TIMING CHAIN EXTENDED WARRANTY CAMPAIGN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 93,000.
BOUGHT A 2011 TRAVERSE A MONTH AGO WITH 93705 MILES ON IT. ON THE DRIVE HOME THE LIGHTS OF THE DASH CAME ON AND SAID TRACTION CONTROL OFF, SERVICE STABILITRAK, REDUCED ENGINE POWER. IT WOULDN'T GO PAST 20 MPH (MIND YOU I'M ON A BUSY STREET WITH MY FOUR KIDS). WAS ABLE TO GET IT HOME AND CALLED THE DEALERSHIP I GOT IT FROM AND AM WAITING FOR A CALL BACK.

BOUGHT THE SUV USED & I LOVE IT UNTILL A COUPLE WKS AGO TRYED TURNING OUT OF MY PARKING SPACE & NOTICED MY POWER STEERING WAS GONE IT WAS REALLY HARD TO TURN! IF I CAN PUSH ON THE GAS BE PEDAL AT ALL THE POWER STEERING WILL FREE UP & I CAN TURN! BUT IT GOES IN AND OUT WITHOUT ANY KNOWING! REALLY DISAPPOINTED! IT'S DIFFICULT TO TURN INTO A PARKING SPOT OR SOMETIMES TO MAKE A SHARP TURN ONTO ANOTHER STREET OR INTO PARKING LOTS WITH ON COMING TRAFFIC, I HAVE TO ALWAYS PREPARE MYSELF FOR IT TO GO OUT!!!
'TIMING CHAIN'. RECENTLY ENGINE LIGHT APPEARS ON AND GOES OFF WHILE DRIVING MY 2011 CHEVY TRAVERSE LT 3.6L WITH ALMOST 113,000 MILES. I USED MY SCANNER AND CODES P0008 AND P0017 APPEARED. AFTER DOING MY RESEARCH I DISCOVERED THAT, 1. THE CODES ARE FOR THE ENGINE TIMING CHAIN. 2. TONS OF CUSTOMERS THAT OWN THE SAME MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR AS MINE ALONG WITH MANY DIFFERENT GM MODEL VEHICLES THAT HAVE THE 3.6 L ENGINE, ARE HAVING THE SAME CODE AND ENGINE PROBLEM. 3. GM KNOWS ABOUT THIS ISSUE SINCE THEY HAVE EXTENDED THE WARRANTY UP TO 120,000 MILES ON SOME OF THE 2011 CHEVY TRAVERSE'S AND OTHER GM MAKES AND MODELS. GM ADVISED ME THAT MY VIN IS NOT COVERED AND I SHOULD BRING MY VEHICLE TO THE CLOSEST GM DEALER TO HAVE THEM DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. I BROUGHT MY VEHICLE TO ADAMS CHEVROLET LOCATED IN HAVRE DE GRACE, MARYLAND ON 01/10/19. ADAMS CHEVROLET TECH STATS: FOUND CODES P0008 AND 0017. FOUND TIMING IS NOT IN SYNC DUE TO FAULTY TIMING CHAINS. STATED CUSTOMER DECLINED REPAIRS AT THIS TIME. CUSTOMER WOULD NEED TO REPLACE TIMING CHAINS AND ACTUATORS. I CONTACTED GM A SECOND TIME A FEW DAYS AFTER I BROUGHT MY VEHICLE TO ADAMS CHEVROLET, THE GM EMPLOYEE STATED THAT SHE WILL NOTE EVERYTHING AND HAS MY CURRENT ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER ON FILE IF THEY NEED TO GET AHOLD OF ME. SHE STATED AGAIN MY VIN IS NOT COVERED AND THAT I SHOULD KEEP IN TOUCH WITH A CUSTOMER SERVICE EMPLOYEE FROM A GM DEALERSHIP AND SEE IF THEY WILL WORK WITH ME ON A PRICE AT MY EXPENSE. I HAVE HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE POWER STEERING WHILE DRIVING IN 2018 AND ADAMS CHEVROLET RECENTLY ADVISED ME THAT THERE IS AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THE POWER STEERING AS WELL BUT TIMING CHAIN IS NOT COVERED ON MY VIN. MY 2011 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE TIMING CHAIN AND /OR ISSUES RELATED TO THAT PROBLEM NEEDS RPLACED FOR FREE OR I WILL GRACEFULLY ACCEPT A NEW VEHICLE FROM GM FOR FREE AND YOU CAN HAVE MY TRAVERSE BACK. BAD SHUDDERING IN BETWEEN SHIFTING GEARS AT LOW SPEEDS. MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT IT IS 3-5-R WAVE PLATES IN THE TRANSMISSION. IN ACCORDANCE TO THE CHEVROLET GARAGE, THIS IS AN ON GOING PROBLEM IN TRAVERSES AND HAVE REPLACED THEM IN NUMEROUS VEHICLES. IF NOT CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY, IT WILL LEAD TO A REPLACEMENT OF THE TRANSMISSION..
STABILITRACK NEEDS SERVICED , ABS LIGHT ON , TRACTION CONTROL FAILURE . POWER LOSS . JUST DRIVING THROUGH TOWN APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH AND ALL ERRORS STARTED FLASHING . THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN . I HAVE READ MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ON THE SAME ISSUE WITH NO RESULTS
STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP DURING NORMAL DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY AS I STARTED A TURN, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO STEER LEAVING ME STRANDED IN TRAFFIC. HAD TO STOP, TURN OFF CAR, RESTART AND STEERING WHEEL BECAME FUNCTIONAL.
DRIVING, SMELLED COOLANT AND HEARD FAN RUNNING. TEMP GAUGE WAS SLIGHTLY ELEVATED, NOT IN THE RED. TOPPED OFF COOLANT AND TOOK TO MECHANIC. HE SAID I COULDN'T HAVE CHECKED RADIATOR BECAUSE IT HAS A COVER OVER THE ENGLINE.WATER PUMP AND BLOWN HEAD GASKET, ESTIMATE $3600-$5000. IT'S BEEN SITTING 3 MONTHS BECAUSE I CAN'T AFFORD TO FIX IT. I HAVE 3 DISABLED CHILDREN, AND CAN'T GET THEM TO DR APPTS BECAUSE MY OTHER CAR IS 18 YEARS OLD AND TOO SMALL.
I WAS DRIVING AND THE CAR SHUT OFF ON ME TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THE ENGINE IS LOCK BECAUSE OF NO OIL AND CHECK THE OIL AND I DO OIL CHANGE EVERY 3000 MILES THE WAS NO OIL ON THE GROUND AND NO LOW OIL WARNING ON THE DASH BOARD
WHILE THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY OR BEING DRIVEN THE TRACTION CONTROL TURNS OFF, THE STABILIZER GOES OUT, AND THE ENGINE POWER REDUCES. I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY AND I LOST POWER GOING FROM 65 MPH DOWN TO 25-30 MPH. I HAD TO PULL OVER AND SHUT OFF THE CAR, WAITED FOR 15 MINUTES AND STARTED DRIVING AGAIN. I HADN'T GONE FAR AND ALL THE WARNINGS CAME UP AGAIN AND POWER WAS REDUCED. WHILE DRIVING IN TOWN THE SAME THING HAPPENS AND I CAN BE GOING 25 MPH AND THE POWER GOES DOWN TO 10 MPH. WHEN GETTING OFF THE HIGHWAY ONE DAY(BATTER GAGUE DID NOT DIP) AND COMING TO A LIGHT ON A 2 LANE SMALLER MAJOR ROAD THE LIGHTS ALL CAME ON CHECK ENGINE, STABILITRAK, BATTERY, ETC AND THE CAR SHUT DOWN. FORTUNATELY, MY HUSBAND WAS ABLE TO CRUISE THROUGH THE LIGHT AND SOMEHOW EVERYONE WAS OUT OF HIS WAY SO HE COULD COME TO A STOP O THE SIDE OF A ROAD THAT THE SPEED LIMIT IS 50 ON. THE WINDOWS WERE OPEN COULDN'T DO ANYTHING. TOW CAME OUT AND HIS JUMPERS WERE ZAPPED. TRIED AGAIN AND WAS ABLE TO GET INTO N SO COULD BE FLAT-BEDDED TO THE MECHANIC. THE ALTERNATOR WAS FRIED, AND FRIED BATTERY AND MESSED UP AC. REPLACED ALT AND BATTERY AND OTHER PARTS THAT WERE FRIED. LESS THAN 6 MONTHS LATER BATTERY STARTED DIPPING REALLY LOW AND SO WE HAD THE CAR CHECKED SEVERAL TIMES AND NOTHING SEEMED WRONG. NOW WE'RE 10 MONTHS IN AND HAD TO REPLACE ALT. AGAIN AND WITHIN A WEEK (TODAY) BATTERY STARTED DIPPING TO 12V AGAIN. THIS IS WHILE DRIVING AND HAPPENS ABOUT 20 MINUTES OR SO INTO DRIVE. I DRIVE ON MAJOR HIGHWAYS AND HAVE MY CHILDREN IN THE CAR THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND SEEMS TO BE A RECURRENT PROBLEM ON TONS OF THESE CARS. IF THE CAR DIES AGAIN, THANKFULLY THE STARS ALIGNED AND MY HUSBAND WAS ABLE TO AT LEAST PULL TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, WE MAY NOT BE SO LUCKY. HOW MANY TRAVERSES NEED TO FAIL BEFORE GM TAKES OWNERSHIP OF THEIR GROSS MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND MAKES THEIR CUSTOMERS WHOLE AGAIN - THIS SHOULD BE RECALLED AND A CLASS ACTION SUIT FILED.
