The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle made an abnormal sound. The contact inspected the vehicle and noticed that underneath the vehicle there was a bracket that had detached. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the mechanic replaced the catalytic converter. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 45,000.
We have major paint chipping and peeling issues, the gear selector will not recognize park at times and we have had the catalytic converter replaced in the 2.5 years of owning (we are the only owners).
CLIO THAT HOLDS THE SECOND SEAT SUNROOF SHADE CLOSED BROKE OFF.
SUNROOF DEVELOPED A MASSIVE LEAK. THE VEHICLE DID NOT LEAK WHILE SITTING ONLY WHILE IN MOTION. THE LEAK WAS AT THE FORWARD PART OF THE SUNROOF. THE LEAK SOAK THE HEADLINER, OVERHEAD CONSOLE CONTROLS AND RAN INTO THE CENTER STACK OF INSTRUMENTS. DIAGNOSED BY SANDY SANSING CHEVROLET, PENSACOLA, FL TO BE A BENT SUNROOF FRAME. HAVE BEEN IN THEIR REPAIR FACILITY SINCE OCT 2019 WITH NO PARTS AVAILABLE OR REPAIR IN SIGHT. CONTACTED GM AND WAS NOT GIVEN A REMEDY.
THE EDGE OF THE SECONDARY HOOD LATCH HAND RELEASE LEVER IS VERY SHARP. I CUT MY FINGER TRYING TO FIND THE LEAVER TO OPEN THE HOOD. THIS PART SHOULD HAVE SMOOTH EDGES TO PREVENT INJURY.
ALL 4 DOORS HAVE BECOME MISS ALIGNED 2 WEEKS AFTER PURCHASING, TRAVERSE IS A NEW CAR NOT PREOWNED. THERE'S A RUBBING NOISE THAT COMES FROM ALL DOORS WHILE DRIVING ESPECIALLY WHEN CAR TURNS LEFT OR RIGHT AT AN ANGLE. AS DAYS PASS THE RUBBING NOISE FROM THE DOORS HAS INCREASED AND CAN BE HEARD WHILE MAKING A STOP AND WHEN DRIVING STRAIGHT.
