Since brand new the electronics have been defective. The lane keep assist has to be turned off during slippery road conditions because the computer jerks the steering wheel during normal driving where white road markings, such as merging lanes are present. During highway speeds on slippery snow or ice it nearly sends the vehicle into a dangerous maneuver. The backup camera was defective intermittently since it was new and was unable to be corrected by the dealer shop during its first new vehicle service. The rear camera has now gone completely out which is standard safety equipment. A dealership has ordered a new backup camera part. The transmission jerks and lurches. Odd shifting is normal for this vehicle which could lead to transmission failures which could lead to a collision.
Came out to my new 2025 Chevy Trax with Stabilitrac and Antilock Braking System faults on the dash on March 27, 2026. I immediately contacted the dealer I bought it from since it only has around 3200 miles and made an appointment (4/1/26) to bring the vehicle in. They inspected the vehicle and told me the brake master cylinder is bad and they would have to keep the vehicle since it could fail completely and I would be without brakes thus unsafe to drive. I was also told was the part was on back order and no ETA on when the part would be made available. They have had the vehicle since April 1st, I was given a loaner from the dealer after having expressed my displeasure that GM would not fully cover the cost of a rental vehicle while I wait on a critical part of the failing braking system that they are failing to provide their dealer. Luckily the braking system never failed prior to diagnosis.
Parked vehicle fire that happened approximately 8-9 hours after parking it. Neighbors woke me up at 4:30am after hearing a loud boom. When i went outside the whole front end was engulfed in flames. Fire investigators said it started in the engine compartment and moved to the inside of the vehicle. No foul play suspected. There were no warning signs leading up to this. I kept up with all maintenance and had no aftermarket additions. Luckily no one was injured but if i had been inside the vehicle when it happened the electric locks likely wouldn't have worked and I'd have little time to evacuate. The heat damaged a neighbors car. I read that recently there was a lawsuit being filed in Delaware involving my type of vehicle. Im currently dealing with GM and trying to get reimbursed because my vehicle was still under warranty. Total loss. Im trying to preserve vehicle for inspection however it is in my apartment complex parking lot and they would like it removed.

The windows will not go down !!! It’s a safety issue as well as the car is fully shut down and the system will not shut off.. I have removed the keys opened the doors locked the doors everything is still on besides the engine. I tried restarting the car and turning off again it will not shut down ! Everything is still on! The main safety concern is the WINDOWS !!!!
The contact owns a 2025 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated that while driving 70 MPH, the rear window on the driver’s side, where the contact’s sister was seated, shattered unexpectedly, causing glass to fall inside and outside the vehicle. Neither an independent mechanic nor a dealer was contacted. The passenger seated in the seat nearest to the window was not injured. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic to be repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that there would not be an investigation if the vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 7,020.
While driving on the highway the car lost complete power. I could not even turn on my hazards. After a few minutes, the car made a sound and the screen turned back and I was able to turn the car back on. But it was extremely dangerous and I could have been hurt of killed. I have read this was an issue with the 2024 Trax but it appears this is an ongoing issue.
I was in car accident on 1/16/2026. I was rear ended went into the guard rail then into the vehicle in front of me. My air bags didn't deploy.
Dashboard screen and video screen have randomly "blacked out" multiple times. Pairing with I-phone and android randomly stops working, wifi and bluetooth randomly not working. It happened on day of purchase and was supposedly fixed. About I month ago I had regular service and has frequently occurred since then. Brought it in today, they couldn't fix and said they needed to call Chevy engineer team. Was told car not safe to drive, was given a loaner/rental.
My check engine light went on and stayed on while I was driving. I called Blaise Alexander, Altoona, Pa. reported and scheduled a checkup on Dec. 11. I drove to the garage, arriving at 10am. and noticed a smell of fire and saw smoke billowing out around the hood of the car. I ran into service area and told them the car must be on fire. They called the Altoona Fire Dept. The police gave me a number, which I gave State Farm Insurance. I drove approximately 23 miles along Rt I 99 to reach the garage. Apparently there is a history of 2024 and 2025 Trax models having fires in the engine. Possibly associated with the fuel system.
The first problem began at approximately 5,000 miles. After refueling, the vehicle’s transmission would slip severely. The slipping continued to occur intermittently after that point. I brought the vehicle to a dealership Initially, I was told that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. After further testing, the dealership identified a transmission issue related to Technical Service Bulletin 25-NA-211 and stated that the repair was completed. At approximately 8,000 miles, an additional issue occurred where the check engine light illuminated and a warning appeared indicating that the brakes had stopped working. This was extremely concerning and created a serious safety risk. Following the transmission repair, a new and more dangerous issue developed. The vehicle now fails to accelerate properly from a complete stop. When attempting to accelerate, it becomes stuck at approximately 1 mph for around 45 seconds before finally moving. This happens intermittently and creates a high risk of collision when entering traffic or crossing intersections. These issues—transmission slipping, brake warning alerts, and failure to accelerate—pose a serious safety hazard to myself and others on the road. The vehicle has been taken in for service, but the problems have not been fully resolved. I am requesting that this issue be investigated as a potential defect affecting this vehicle.
While driving at highway speed approximately 70 mph), the vehicle suddenly veered into an adjacent lane without any steering input and began swerving back and forth uncontrollably. I did not make any steering corrections that caused this behavior. After approximately 10 seconds of back-and-forth swerving, the vehicle straightened out on its own. No collision occurred, but the incident felt life-threatening. I’m grateful no vehicle was driving next to me, or I would have likely died or been severely injured in a car crash. It was terrifying. Note: this was a rental car through Avis
The contact owns a 2025 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated that the driver’s side seat belt failed to function as intended. The contact stated that several months prior, the driver’s side seat belt failed to lock securely inside the buckle. After several attempts, the seat belt failed to lock as needed. On a separate occasion, the seat belt failed to lock into the driver’s side buckle and the contact used the front passenger receptacle to secure the seat belt. The seat belt alarm was sounding. The contact stated that the failure occurred in colder weather. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 4,000.
The contact owns a 2025 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission warning light illuminated. The dealer was made aware of the failure; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 139.
I am reporting a safety concern involving my 2025 Chevrolet Trax 2RS (VIN: [XXX] ). After a service visit at AutoNation Chevrolet Spokane Valley concerning all the following issues on October 31, 2025 (Repair Order #XXX), the Lane Keep Assist system stopped functioning entirely after that being the main concern I was going into the dealership to get resolved once it tried to automatically steer me into the other lane at 60mph almost causing a life threatening collision. Prior to the visit, the system worked but was malfunctioning— the dashboard displayed the green lane symbol, and the activation button engaged the feature. After service, the symbol no longer appears, and the button lights up but does not activate the system. This change was not authorized, not documented in the repair order, and was never disclosed to me. I believe the Lane Keep Assist system was intentionally disabled or tampered with during service, which poses a serious safety risk. I am also experiencing other unresolved issues including engine ticking, dashboard brightness malfunction, infotainment freezing, and transmission hesitation. I am requesting a formal investigation into whether this dealership improperly disabled a federally regulated safety feature without consent or disclosure. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
See attached document for complaint.
I began experiencing multiple mechanical and safety-related issues within the first few hundred miles of ownership. These include a persistent metallic ticking noise from the engine compartment, sluggish acceleration, infotainment screen freezing and Bluetooth malfunction, Lane Keep Assist attempting to steer the vehicle into another lane at highway speeds, and a non-responsive brightness knob. These issues pose safety risks and match known GM bulletins (e.g., 23-NA-094, 24-NA-242, 24-NA-063, PIT6362). I’ve scheduled my first service appointment for October 31, 2025, and installed a dash cam to document future incidents. I am concerned about the vehicle’s reliability and safety.
Blind spot indicator, as well as radio and gauge display are acting less than appropriate Blind spot indicator/Driver side: engaging without any presence of caution Radio and gauge displays: turning back on after vehicle has shut off Forward crash collision detection intermittently functions less than equal- has failed in heavy traffic upon forward cars braking, leading to the need to hard-brake.
On [xxx] My cousin, [XXX] , and I were on highway [XXX] and were about to exit when an ambulance exited onto the highway ahead causing the traffic to suddenly stop. As it stopped, I hit my brake, which usually jolts when I hit it but it didn't this time, the brake didn't feel the same it felt like my car wasn't stopping. The warning that usually goes off didn't go off either. My car hit a Jeep that was in front of me at a speed of about 55 to 60 mph yet none of my airbags diployed. We smelled fire and saw some smoke but couldn't see over the hood that had been bent up, both of our seatbealts had been stretched out so that when we took them off, we could not put them back on, and the adjuster I had on my seatbealt to keep it off my shoulder completely broke off. I pull over as far as I could safely since I couldn't see. The driver of the Jeep got out of her car and inspected it, she came back to the passenger side of my car and said that she was in a rental, there was no damage and couldn't afford to turn in accident in so she had to leave, and left the scene. Both my cousin and I were feeling pain in our chest so when 1st responder came, he called for an ambulance. We were both taken to Eskenazi ER where my cousin was treated and released the same day. I was admitted into the hospital ICU and had emergency spinal cord surgery on [XXX] and wasn't released until [XXX]. After the accident, I saw a few messages that were sent to my GMC account inbox dated October 8, 2025 saying that my airbags may need to be serviced, after the accident happened. On October 8, 2025 My cousin, [XXX] , and I were on highway Mile 113, 65 North and were about to exit when an ambulance exited onto the highway ahead causing the traffic to suddenly stop. As the traffic stopped, I hit my brake, which usually jolts when I hit it but it didn't this time, the brake didn't feel the same, the brake was soft and it felt like my car wasn't stopping. The warning red light that usually goes off didn't and I hit a Jeep at a speed of about 55 to 60 mph yet none of my airbags diployed. We smelled fire and saw some smoke come in from the vents but couldn't see over the hood that had been bent up, both of our seatbealts had been stretched out so that when we took them off, we could not put them back on, and the adjuster I had on my seatbealt to keep it off my shoulder completely broke off. My car was towed and we were both taken to Eskenazi ER where my cousin was treated and released the same day. I was admitted into the hospital ICU and had emergency cervical fusion spinal cord surgery on October 9, 2025 and wasn't released until October 17, 2025 with ongoing treatment for therapy and loss of mobility of my right arm which is due to nerve damage and abdomen bruising, I am still recovering and have ongoing treatments for my spine. I noticed the alarm didn't sound when it should have times before but since nothing was said about any problem when I took my car in for service in September, I didn't think that there would be an issue like this. A police report was made but I do not have a copy yet. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
The electronic instrument cluster and all gauges (speedometer etc.) goes blank while driving the vehicle. The instrument cluster comes back on in about a minute. This was a recall item on the 2024 Chevy Trax but apparently has not been recalled on the 2025 (same issue on the same car). This has happened multiple times on this vehicle.
Apple CarPlay exits when I tap on it. Also air vents have air coming from them even though I have A/C Off. Transmissions Jerks when it’s cold.
Bought my car June 3 2025. 8-10-25 at the dealer for another issue I mentioned about hear a squeek in the engine compartment, more so with the air on. Dealer stats can't hear squeek. Had to take back again on 9-9 for the other issue again and told dealer about still hearing squeek. Dealer stats can't hear unless removing oil cap and that there is a tsb that it's normal? Stated my mother's 25 year old car does not squeek and I don't think a new car should squeek. Dealer stated again, said to be normal.
Found Light to clear oily fluid leaking from passenger side under front fender well after moving vehicle from garage parked location. Unable to determine exact source of leak. Suspect either brake fluid or refrigerant oil. Taking to dealer to address under warranty.
The contact rented a 2025 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated that, while her husband was driving at 25 MPH on a decline and attempting to slow the vehicle upon approaching a curve in the road, the brake pedal depressed all the way to the floorboard but failed to bring the vehicle to a complete stop. As a result, the driver briefly lost control of the vehicle, only coming to a complete stop after colliding with the vehicle ahead. The air bags did not deploy. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic but instead returned to the rental company. The contact was unaware whether the vehicle was repaired. A police report was filed, and no injuries were reported. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 14,700.
I just purchased this vehicle. I found that the fuel filler neck has a leak which is a fire risk. I was initially promised that the part would be replaced in a week, but recently found that the part is back ordered because this is a prevalent issue with 2025 models. At the dealer I was mislead into thinking this isn’t a big issue when it is, I was told I could continue to drive the vehicle with minimal risk but gas has been leaking in my grass and causing it to change colors as well as paying more for gas despite being sold on great gas mileage. To make matters worse worse the vehicle is starting to sputter and has less than 2K miles. I feel that this should be a national recall before someone gets hurt. Chevy Trax are affordable for tons of people if all of us are in combustible vehicles the environment is bound to take a hit. Please help.
When it rains and or I wash my car, going down the road after at about 35-50 with my sunroof vented or window cracked about an inch, the car makes an awful sound like im gurgling out of a straw. Just completed a buyback with a 24 trax 2rs and got a 25 2rs with the same sunroof issue. Engineers say its the drain lines being pinched in the pillars but still have yet to get a solution and have to start all over with my new lemon.
Bought my car June 3 2025. On 8-10-2025 my check engine light came on. My chevy app was showing evap issue. Dealer stated that the code was not active and they test for leaks and could not find any. Reset light. On 9-6-2025 check engine light on again. Same deal. 9-9 Dealer states not current again but there is a tsb to replace the fuel filler neck, 3 weeks to get the part.
1. I bought the vehicle on August 2, 2025. The Fuel Injector failed less than a week later from my purchase date. One month later the dealership replaced the Fuel Injector. Along with a pipe, seal, gasket, and retainer. 2. My safety was put at risk as I was driving on a highway and as soon as I was descending an overpass, I felt a loss of power as if the vehicle down shifted on its own. Luckily, I was still able to drive it, and it didn't stall. 3. Yes, the dealership ran their diagnostic test. 4. Same, response as question 3. 5. Yes the check engine light appeared. Appeared sometime around one week later.
Ran into a cemex block with no light pole. The parking lot was dark and cemex block was not marked. Forward collision detection system did not work and airbag ejected some shrapnel cutting my arm and shatter ing my bone in forearm and wrist. I’m lucky it did not hit me in the head or I would be dead today. By the grace of god I’m still alive Amen !
We’ve only had the vehicle for a few months and while we were driving the engine rod basically broke in pieces damaging the engine and almost causing us to wreck. After looking at the other GM engines being recalled for engine rod issues and complete engine failure. This sounds like the same incident and needs to also be added to this. It’s put us out and almost caused us to wreck after only 11k miles on the vehicle.
July 24 5:00pm dash go blank. Took to dealer and disconnects battery and reconnects. comes back on.July 28, dash goes half lite for hour comes back on. July 31, dash goes half lite again, hour later comes back on. Aug. 1, driving local and dash goes half lit again. Go home and next day dash is normal. Aug 19 dash goes to half power again, comes back on hour later. Aug 24 dash goes half lit for 4 hrs. Sept 11, half lit for 1/2 hour, comes back on. Sept 15, driving local dash goes half lit, comes back later in the day.
While driving, all of a sudden dash went blank. No gauges, no speedometer, just a blank screen. I was near the dealer where I had purchased it and drove in. Service dept was closing but a mechanic disconnected the battery and reconnected it and the dash worked. The mechanic said he never heard of this happening before, but when I got home and researched it it has happened before. My wife uses the car to transport our grandkids, and I cannot imagine the screen going blank on the freeway at 65.
My passenger side door is making a thumping noise and now I have to live with a passenger door thumping when closing
The contact owns a 2025 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated while driving from a complete stop and while coming to a stop, the vehicle was jerking and the transmission experienced hard shifts. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed, but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The dealer performed a required ECM software update; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 5,000.
The backup camera becomes a "fishbowl" along with inability to use radio features. Happens often. There are numerous forum topics via Facebook and Reddit about it happening. Dealership is no help.
The interior of this car includes many chrome accents. Chrome on the steering wheel, center console around the gear shift, and chrome around the touch screen. When driving, the sun reflects off of the chrome like a laser/mirror, impacting the visibility and safety of the driver. I am looking into ways to "black out" the chrome, but it truly is a safety hazard! Chevrolet should provide a "chrome delete" kit and keep chrome on the EXTERIOR, not on the INTERIOR.
The contact owns a 2025 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated while driving 75 MPH, the instrument panel and cluster became inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the failure could not be duplicated; however, the failure recurred, and the navigation system and other infotainment system functions engaged independently. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where an unknown wiring cable was replaced; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where the contact was informed that an unknown wiring cable needed to be replaced, and the part was ordered. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer denied vehicle rental assistance. The contact stated that the failure had been recurring intermittently. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
I am very unsure what is going on, but when I am in reverse my whole dash loudly rattles and vibrates the whole car. My front door speakers also keep going out with makes me think we may have a wiring issue.
What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The vehicle’s rear structure and frame were compromised. After a low-speed rear-end collision (approximately 5 mph), the frame bent, and the vehicle was declared a total loss by the insurance company. The car is no longer available for inspection as it has been taken by insurance, but documentation including photos, insurance reports, and repair estimates is available upon request. 2. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The fact that the frame sustained significant damage in such a low-speed collision raises concerns about the overall durability and crashworthiness of the vehicle. This could indicate that the vehicle might not provide adequate protection in more severe collisions, putting occupants at risk in real-world driving conditions. 3. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes, the damage was confirmed by the insurance adjuster and an independent collision repair shop, both of whom concluded that the vehicle’s frame was bent. The repair facility stated that the vehicle could not be repaired due to the extent and nature of the frame damage. 4. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? Yes, the vehicle was inspected by an insurance adjuster and an independent body shop. The manufacturer has not inspected the vehicle, and police were not involved as it was a minor collision without injuries. 5. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No, there were no warning lamps or messages prior to the incident. The issue only became apparent after the vehicle was rear-ended, at which point the structural damage was assessed.
Was making right hand turn which causes vehicle to straddle shoulder for a brief period of time because of how lines are painted. Auto steering resisted the manual steering to get into the lane properly and pulled vehicle onto shoulder further which lead vehicle to be pulled into the ditch.
The contact owned a 2025 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated while driving 35 MPH with cruise control mode disengaged, and approaching the red traffic light, the brake pedal was depressed. The contact stated that the vehicle responded temporarily, and then the vehicle accelerated unintendedly. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that he shifted to park(P) in the hope that the vehicle would stop, but the vehicle failed to stop and the engine revved louder, causing the vehicle to crash into two occupied vehicles in the intersection of a highway. The air bags deployed. It was unknown whether there was a warning light illuminated after the crash. The contact sustained injuries and the emergency units transported the contact to the hospital, where he underwent a CT scan. The contact was informed that he had sustained two broken ribs. The contact was hospitalized for two weeks, and the contact was admitted to a rehabilitation center for a week and a half. One of the other drivers sustained three broken ribs, but it was unknown whether the driver received medical assistance. No further information was available. The vehicle was towed and totaled. The two other vehicles were totaled. A police report was filed. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 6,000.
No cold AC only hot, car temps hit 107 as of 3/19/25 is believed to be the Evaporator system. I have an 8 month old baby this is very dangerous.
I am reporting a safety incident that occurred on [XXX] with my new GM vehicle, a 2025 Chevy Trax with roughly 3000 odometer miles. I was returning to Troy MI from Ann Arbor MI on [XXX] a roughly 50 mile drive, a driver with one passenger. The weather was good, no ice or debris on the roads. We exited the highway and proceeded north through several stoplights. Just before making a right turn into a destination, the vehicle seemed to slam to stop multiple times, causing loss of vehicle control. The abrupt behavior knocked the steering wheel out of driver hands and lurched us forward against the seatbelts. I parked and powered down, giving it a chance to reset. Then continuing to drive a short distance, the vehicle repeatedly abruptly halted at speeds over 30mph as if hitting a wall. There were no warning lights or alerts displayed on the instrument panel, and the vehicle had never behaved abnormally in any way prior to this incident. On Monday morning [XXX] the dealership immediately verified the condition, though offering no speculation to the cause. The service manager reported that upon test drive, the service tech said "he would have gone through the windshield if not belted in.” My passenger and I have between the two of us [XXX] years of experience working in automotive, for GM and suppliers, in production capacities, and for years driving dozens of leased vehicles and GM company cars. Neither of us have ever experienced a vehicle doing anything as dangerous as this brand new Trax did. Had the failure occurred during the highway portion of our drive that day - multiple congested highways [XXX] - we are certain we could have been killed and would have been a lethal danger to the drivers around us. An abrupt halt at high speed would have caused the car to roll and/or spin out of control. At the time of this report, the car is with the dealership with no root cause or repair estimation. We believe this is a transmission issue. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
After shifting from reverse to drive, the main dashboard display went completely black and stayed black for the remainder of my drive cycle. During this incident, the infotainment screen remained working as normal. The dashboard display returned to normal operation at the next key-cycle (I waited 10 minutes and started again). Incident occurred February 19, 2025. It was dangerous because I could not see my speed, the engine temperature, or be aware of any warnings (had there been any). The engine appeared to run normally. I haven't driven again to test if the problem reoccurs. I haven't had the opportunity to bring to the dealership to evaluation.
Vehicle will “disengage from adaptive cruise control” randomly and hard brake when there is nothing in front of the vehicle
Vehicle will indicate a pedestrian or another vehicle in front of and activate forward collision detection with hard braking when there are no pedestrians or obstacles/objects on the road- problem persists after having a new radar system installed via dealership
I’ve had my 2025 Chevy tracks for less than a year at first having issues in January 2025. I was driving back from my son‘s birthday party and the entire dash just went black. I could not see the mile per hour I was going and I could not see my radio my entire front dash just blacked out for almost a minute. I was driving at the speed of 70 miles an hour when this occurred putting myself and others at risk I was able to pull over on the side of the highway to see the issue going on with my vehicle. I turned off my vehicle and turned it back on thank you. Maybe that would resolve the issue, but it clearly didn’t. I contact GM. I contact the dealership Dutch Miller and explain to them the issue that did did occur. I took it into a shop. The dealership looked at it. They updated it the system in my car. Which I thought that resolved the issue for a few months and now I’m back to the dash going black when I’m driving, took it back to the dealership again and they said that they couldn’t find any issues and we just gotta wait until a recall occurs with GM. Been contacting General motors about this issue. This is a safety hazard and extremely dangerous when you’re going speed limit at high speed and you cannot see anything on your dash it is terrifying and scary especially when you have your family in the car. Hopefully GM gets this fixed. It’s a brand new car should not have any issues.
The car electrical system restarts itself sporadically when I’m driving. I have taken it to the Chevy dealer multiple times and they keep saying nothing is wrong. However, when I’m driving all the screens just go black without any warning and comes back on in about a minute. This issue occurred within the first month of having this car and it was brand new.
On mornings that the temperature drops close to freezing, the nozzles for the windshield wiper fluid freeze and do not operate. Not until the car is at operating temperature does the windshield wiper nozzles work. This is especially dangerous when roads are salted and a salt coating on the windshield leaves drivers blind without fluid to remove it. It also appears that the line to the rear wiper nozzle froze and broke and windshield wiper fluid is leaking. Chevy indicated that the fluid is put in the vehicle at the factory. Either the fluid was incorrect or the design allows for the lines and nozzle to freeze.
