THROTTLE BODY WARNING LIGHT WENT ON, CAR HESITATING WHEN ACCELERATING. SURGING UPON INITIAL START IN THE MORNING.
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IN 2 YEARS THAT I HAD TO REPLACE THE ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY ON THIS CAR. I ALSO HAD TO REPLACE FUSES ON THIS CAR. ALL THE HAZARD LIGHTS CAME ON BATTERY LIGHT, HAZARD LIGHTS, ALL THE LIGHTS IN DASHBOARD CAME ON. CARE ACCELERATED SLOWLY UNTIL IT TURNED OFF. COULDN'T DRIVE
THE CONNECTOR FOR THE RADIATOR HOSE FROM THE FLUID RESERVOIR TO THE RADIATOR BROKE, LEAKING RADIATOR FLUID ON THE GROUND. THE CONNECTOR WAS MADE OF PLASTIC. HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO A REPAIR SHOP, WHERE THE HOSE WAS REPLACED, THE SYSTEM FLUSHED, PRESSURE CHECKED, AND REFILLED WITH FLUID. COST US $546 IN PARTS AND LABOR.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE VEHICLE SEIZED AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT MADE APPROXIMATELY FOUR ATTEMPTS BEFORE THE VEHICLE RESTARTED AND RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SUBURBAN CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF FARMINGTON HILLS (38123 W. 10 MILE RD, FARMINGTON HILLS, MI 48335, (248) 476-7900) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE OIL PRESSURE PUMP FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 107,000.
VEHICLE HAS STALLED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS BOTH IN MOTION AND WHILE PARKED. THE STALL OCCURS EITHER WHEN THE A/C IS ACTIVATED AND TURNED OFF.
I PURCHASE MY CHRYSLER 200 AROUND 1/8/2019 TODAY IS 6/15/2019 AND I AM GETTING THIS CLICKING NOISE AROUND THE FRONT END RATHER YOU TURNING OR DRIVING AND ITS PULLING TO THE RIGHT. I HAVE TAKING MY CHRYSLER 200 TO ATLEASTED (6) REPAIR SHOPS THEY ALL GAVE ME DIFFERENT ANSWERS ABOUT WHAT IT GOING TAKE TO FIX THE PROBLEM.I AM SO CONFUSED AND DISAPPOINTED & FEELING SOME KINDA WAY ABOUT THIS CHRYSLER 200 RIGHT NOW. SO DICK NORRIS BUICK GMC IN PALM HARBOR, FL. ( I WOULD NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN) AND TO THE (CHRYSLER CORPORATION) GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME THIS IS AMERICA AND I AN A VETERAN.
NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, PRESSING ON BRAKE PEDAL WHILE AT A STOP SIGN OR RED LIGHT, AUTOMOBILE STALLS. PUT IT IN PARK AND RESTART, RPM RANGE VARIES. USE BRAKES TOO MUCH RPM INCREASES NEED TO STOP VEHICLE AND RESTART TO GET BETTER RPM AND DASHBOARD BLINKS FOR THE MILEAGE
CAR SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH ON HIGHWAY, CAR WILL NO LONGER START ENGINE COMPLETELY LOCKED.
MY CAR KEEPS GOING DEAD FOR NO REASON, THEN STARTS UP AFTER FIVE MINUTES.
ADJUSTED THE ELECTRICAL MIRROR THEN SHORTLY AFTER ADJUSTMENT SMOKE STARTED TO ROLL OUT FROM UNDER THE BUTTONS OF THE WINDOW CONTROLLERS AND MELTED THEM SLIGHTLY (DRIVER AND PASSENGER FRONT WINDOW BUTTONS) THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION AND THEN STATIONARY DUE TO WE HAD TO EXIT THE VEHICLE DUE TO BE OVERCOME WITH SMOKE. WE WERE TURNING OFF A HIGHWAY TO A RESIDENTIAL STREET. WE THEN WAS ABLE TO GET BACK INTO THE CAR WHEN THERE WAS LITTLE SMOKE AND CONTINUE 1/2 MILE TO THE HOME WERE STAYING AT. WINDOW'S WILL NOT ROLL UP OR DOWN NOW. DUE TO THE SMOKE, I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE BACK TO MICHIGAN FROM WISCONSIN IN A WEEK. ALSO, THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BELT DOES NOT LOCK ONTO THE RESTRAINT LOCK. WHY DID IT NOT BLOW A FUSE BEFORE IT STARTED SMOKING?
MY CAR WILL STALL WHILE DRIVING. STEERING WHEEL WILL LOCK. I HAVE TO PUT IT TO A COMPLETE STOP TO RESTART. SOMETIMES IT STARTS RIGHT AWAY. MOST TIMES I HAVE TO WAIT A FEW MINUTES
CAR STALLED WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY, ACCIDENT PREVENTED BY PULLING OVER THE ETC LIGHT FLASHED WHILE STALLING. AFTER SHUTTING CAR OFF, THEN BACK ON THE LIGHT WENT OFF AND DRIVING CONTINUED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE CONTACT AND HIS SPOUSE WERE INVOLVED IN A CRASH WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CONTACT'S WIFE SUSTAINED SEVERE WHIPLASH, AND INJURIES TO THE BACK AND HEAD. THE CONTACT INJURED HIS CHEST ON THE STEERING WHEEL. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS RECEIVED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE A NEW GRILL, BUMPER, PAINT AND DOORS WERE ADDED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CRASH WAS RELATED TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V668000 (SEATS AND AIR BAGS). THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 46,066.
I WAS DRIVING AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR STARTED MAKING A LOUD WHINING NOISE AND SEEMED TO BE DOWNSHIFTING AND LURCHING BY ITSELF. IT WAS NOT SHIFTING PROPERLY AND IT SEEMED TO BE DOING STUFF BY ITSELF. I DID NOT HAVE CONTROL OVER WHAT IT WAS DOING. I HAD TO PULL OFF THE HIGHWAY AND CALLED TRIPLE A AND THE CAR HAD TO BE TOWED. IT WAS REPAIRED AND NOW 2 WEEKS LATER IT AGAIN DOWNSHIFTED BY ITSELF OUT OF THE BLUE AND STARTED WHINING AGAIN. IT HAS NOT BEEN DRIVEN SINCE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL TANKING WAS LEAKING. THE CONTACT SMELLED FUMES AND THE ENGINE STALLED AND LOST POWER WHILE DRIVING. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
I HAD 4 WHEEL ALIGNMENT DONE ON MY 2013 CHRYSLER 200 AS THE WHEEL WAS PULLING, SHOOK AT CERTAIN SPEED AND STEERING WHEEL WAS NOT STRAIGHT. THOSE PROBLEMS WERE CORRECTED BUT NOW I HAVE A CLUNKING SOUND COMING FROM THE LEFT FRONT SOUNDS LIKE UNDER GAS AND BRAKE PEDALS. ALSO WHEN CAR IS IN PARK AND YOU TURN STEERING WHEEL YOU HEAR A NOISE, SO MAYBE THE CLUNKING COMES WHEN MOVING STEERING WHILE DRIVING BUT THIS IS A VERY ANNOYING NOISE AND IF YOU LOOK UP THIS YEAR CAR ON UTUBE THE VIDEO DESCRIBES THE NOISE EXACTLY. THIS CAR HAS LESS THAN 40,000 MILES ON IT. I WILL BE CHECKING WITH CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP IN MORNING TO SEE IF THERE WERE ANY BULLETINS ON MY CAR FOR THIS ANNOYING CLUNKING SOUND.
DURING DRIVING IN THE RAIN THE BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKS INTO PLACE THEN AFTER COMPLETE STOP STEERING IS BACK. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND THE THERMOSTAT RISES TO THE MAXIMUM THEN THAT LIGHT COMES ON. THEN AFTER 5MIN OR SO TEMP GOES BACK DOWN BOTH ENGINE AND TEMP LIGHTS GO OFF BUT BATTERY LIGHT STAYS ON UNTIL CAR IS TURNED OFF. THIS ONLY HAPPENS WHEN IT'S HEAVILY RAINING.
THE RPM SUDDENLY STOPS AND IT'S TAKES FEW SECONDS TO GO DOWN AND SPEED SUDDENLY INCREASE
MY CAR ONLY HAS 73,000 MILES ON IT. I TAKE EXCELLENT CARE OF IT. LAST WEEK I THE ENGINE STARTED TO JUST TURN OFF WHILE AT A STOP. NO WARNINGS, NO INDICATORS THAT SOMETHING WAS WRONG. THE CAR WILL TURN BACK ON WHEN I PUT IT IN PARK AND RESTART ENGINE BY TURNING THE KEY. I HAVE RECENTLY SEEN ONLINE THAT THIS HAS BEEN AN ISSUE WITH A LOT OF 200'S. I FEEL CHRYSLER HAS SOLD A LOT OF PEOPLE LEMONS. MORE IMPORTANTLY I'M CONCERNED FOR MY SAFETY, THE SAFETY OF MY FAMILY, AND SAFETY OF OTHER I SHARE THE ROAD WITH.
ON 02/24/2019 AT APPROXIMATELY 3:00 P.M., AFTER ATTENDING CHURCH SERVICES, I ENTERED MY CAR AND IMMEDIATELY NOTICED THAT THE DRIVER SIDE ACTIVE HEAD RESTRAINT (AHR) WAS DEPLOYED.
TAKATA RECALL LAST TIME I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY GOING 70 MILES PER HOUR AND THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY LOST POWER WITH A SEMI TRUCK RIGHT BEHIND ME AND I HAD TO SWERVE OFF OF THE ROAD TO AVOID BEING HIT AND NEARLY CAUSING AN ACCIDENT I DO NOT FEEL SAFE IN THIS VEHICLE AND I'M IN FEAR FOR MY LIFE
I WAS A FRONT SEAT PASSENGER IN A CHRYSLER 200 2013. WE WERE ON A CITY STREET GOING APPROXIMATELY 35MPH. THE PASSENGER SIDE HEADREST DEPLOYED WITHOUT WARNING CAUSING A VIOLENT JOLT AND INJURIES TO MYSELF. THERE WAS NOTHING THAT WOULD HAVE CAUSED IT TO DEPLOY. THE ROAD WAS SMOOTH..NO POT HOLES. NOTHING HIT THE CAR. SPEED WAS NOT A FACTOR. WEATHER WAS NOT A FACTOR. IT WAS SUDDEN,LOUD AND ABRUPT.*DT*JB*DT *TP
HEAT ONLY COMES OUT ON THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. IT COMES OUT REALLY COLD IN THE PASSAGES. THE HEATER CORE WAS REPLACED LAST YEAR BE THE DEALER AND IT'S DOING IT AGAIN. I WAS SITTING A LIGHT AND WHEN IT TURNED GREEN I TRIED TO GO THAN IT WOULDN'T GO THAN IT JUMPED FORWARD AND IT WENT. I GOT A LITTLE DOWN THE ROAD THAN IT SLOWED DOWN AND IT WAS ALMOST LIKE DRIVING IN NEUTRAL WOULDN'T PICK UP SPEED AT ALL. IT STOPPED MOVING AGAIN THAN IT WOULDN'T GO AT ALL THE COPS HAD TO HELP ME PUSH IT TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER, DIAGNOSED, OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 71,000.
WHILE SITTING IN THE PARKED VEHICLE AT A GAS STATION, THE HEADREST POP OPEN BANGING MY HEAD AGAINST THE BACK OF THE HEADREST CAUSING MY HEAD TO HURT FOR HOURS. UNFORTUNATELY, I'VE BEEN UNABLE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM ON MY OWN.
VEHICLE STALLS/SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING MAKING IT VERY DIFFICULT TO STEAR AND BRAKE. I WAS DRVING AT 70 MILIES PER HOUR WHEN IT SUDDENTLY SHUT OFF ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT.
2013 CHRYSLER 200 3.6L V-6 80,000 MILES. DURING THE 2018 WINTER IN NOTICED MY CAR WAS NOT COMING UP TO RUNNING TEMPERATURE AND NO T GETTING GOOD HEAT OUT OF THE VENTS ON DRIVERS AND PASSENGER VENTS. I CHANGED THE THERMOSTAT AND NOTICED A LOT OF GRIT AND WHAT LOOKS LIKE DIRT IN THE ANTIFREEZE, BUT NOW THE CAR COMES UP TO RUNNING TEMPERATURE AND NOW I GET GOOD HEAT OUT OF DRIVER SIDE VENT BUT NOT OUT OF THE PASSENGER SIDE VENT. I HAVE BEEN DOING SOME READING ON CHRYSLER 200 FORUMS AND I SEE A LOT OF COMPLAINTS OF THE SAME PROBLEMS I AM HAVING AND SAYING THE CAUSE IN IS THAT THE HEATER CORE IS PLUGGED AND IS ABOUT $900.00 TO $1200.00 TO FIX. IS CHRYSLER GOING TO COVER THE COST OF THE REPAIRS? THE CAUSE OF THE HEATER CORE BEING PLUGGED IS WHEN TO BLOCKS WERE BEING PORED AND MACHINED LEAVING SAND AND OTHER DEBRIS IN THE BLOCKS BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT CLEANED PROPERLY.
CAR HAD A RECALL OF AIRBAG MODULE (S61) & AFTER THIS WAS REPAIRED, IT HAS A SEATBELT WARNING FOR ACTIVE HEAD RESTRAINT BC14 (CIRCUIT OPEN). I'VE SEEN MANY POSTS ABOUT A SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH CHRYSLER CARS. AND, NOW I HAVE TO PAY TO GET THIS REPAIRED OR THE HEADREST MAY NOT OPERATE PROPERLY IN THE EVENT OF A REAR END ACCIDENT.
WAS DRIVING MY 2013 CHRYSLER 200 HOME LAST NIGHT DOING 55MPH ALL THE SUDDEN MY CAR JUMPED RPMS AND STARTED ACCELERATING REALLY QUICK. I STARTED TO BREAK BUT THE CAR KEPT GOING SO I HAD TO PUT THE CAR IN NUTERAL SHUT IT OFF AND COAST TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD FOR A SAFE PLACE FOR THE TOW TRUCK TO GET THE CAR
THE ENGINE COMPLETELY SHUTS OFF WITHOUT WARNING WHEN AT AN IDLE OR SLOWING DOWN TO MAKE A STOP. IT HAS DONE THIS NOW ABOUT 12 TIMES WITHIN THE LAST MONTH. MY CAR JUST MADE IT TO 53,000 MILES AND HAS ALWAYS HAD REGULAR OIL CHANGES AND MAINTENANCE. SO FAR, I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PUT IT IN PARK AND RESTART. I WAS TAKING MY DAUGHTER TO SCHOOL YESTERDAY AND IT STALLED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND THE ENGINE DIED. THE FIRST TIME THAT IT EVER HAPPENED I PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE TO BACK OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY AND IT DIED THREE DIFFERENT TIMES. NO WARNINGS OR LIGHTS. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO A MECHANIC SHOP AND THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. THEY RAN A DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND...NOTHING. THE ENGINE HAS DIED AND STALLED 3 TIMES SINCE BEING IN THE SHOP.
WHILE DRIVING AT A NORMAL SPEED, THE SPEEDOMETER WOULD GO UP PAST 80 OR GO AROUND WHERE NO NUMBERS WAS. I'VE TOOK PICTURES, TOO IT TO THE DEALER, THE COULDN'T FIND THE PROBLEM BECAUSE IT WASN'T HAPPENING AT THAT TIME. IT HAS HAPPEN NUMEROUS TIMES & YOU CANT JUST TAKE IT IN WITHOUT AN APPT OR WHEN IT HAPPEN CAUSE YOU DONT KNOW WHEN IT WILL HAPPEN. IT HAPPENS ON THE STREET OR HIGHWAY WHILE IN MOTION. IT TESETONCE THE CAR IS TURNED OFF & BACK ON.
GEAR SHIFTER GETS STUCK AND WON'T SHIFT FROM PARK TO REVERSE OR DRIVE. MAKES A CLICKING NOISE SEVERAL TIMES AND THEN WILL SHIFT. SEEMS THIS COULD BE DANGEROUS IN DRIVE MODE IF IT SLIPS OUT OF GEAR. I AM ENTERING A DATE BELOW BUT HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES. OVER 20 IN THE LAST YEAR. SEEMS TO BE WORSE WHEN COLD BUT NOT NECESSARILY ONLY WHEN COLD.
MY CHRYSLER 200 2013 TOURING STALLED ON ME WHILE COMING TO A STOP AT A STOP SIGN I WAS STUCK IN A INTERSECTION FOR ALMOST AN HOUR AND HAD TO DIRECT TRAFFIC AROUND ME SO I WOULDN'T GET HIT. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. THIS IS THE 5TH TIME MY CAR HAS STALLED ON ME AND I'VE ONLY HAD IT FOR 2 MONTHS, STALLED TWICE ON BUSY INTERSECTIONS I COULD HAVE DIED. IT STALLED ON ME WHILE I WAS GOING 55 MPH AND THE LANES WERE SO TIGHT I ALMOST COULDN'T GET TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WITHOUT GETTING HIT AND WHEN I FINALLY DID THE LANES WERE SO CLOSE THAT I COULDN'T PARK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD FOR SAFETY WITHOUT BEING TERRIFIED SOMEONE GOING TO COME DOWN THE HILL AND NOT SEE ME AND HIT ME. ALSO I WAS JUST DOING A BEACH CRUISE ONE TIME AND IT STALLED ON ME I HAD TO PARK AND WAIT LIKE A HOUR AND 30 MINUTES FOR HELP. ANOTHER TIME I WAS DOING A RIGHT TURN ONTO MY HOUSE AND THE ENGINE JUST SHUT OFF SO I HAD TO MAKE A WIDE RIGHT TURN WITH BARELY ANY STEERING POWER COULD'VE BEEN A MAJOR ACCIDENT. THE CAR JUST LOSES IT POWER AND SHUTS OFF WITHOUT ANY WARNING. I'VE GOTTEN A DIAGNOSTICS AND NOTHING SHOWED WRONG WITH THE CAR, BUT THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG. I'VE SEEN MANY OF THE SAME PROBLEMS PEOPLE ARE HAVING ONLINE AND THE PROBLEM IS NOT GETTING FIXED AT ALL. I'M SEEING PEOPLE REPLACE FUEL PUMPS, STARTERS, BATTERIES, ALTERNATORS AND NO FIX FOR THE STALLING JUST WASTING MONEY. THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE ONLINE ON SITES ARE STRUGGLING WITH THIS CAR. PEOPLE CARS ARE STALLING ON THEM AND ARE ALMOST GETTING THEM KILLED. CHRYSLER IS NOT DOING ANYTHING TO HELP THESE PEOPLE, NO RECALLS ON THE CAR AND PEOPLE ARE TAKING THEIR CARS TO THE DEALERSHIP AND WASTING MONEY BECAUSE THE PROBLEM STILL OCCURS EVEN AFTER THE DEALERSHIP. REALLY SAD THERE NEEDS TO BE SOMETHING DONE WITH THESE CARS MY LIFE IS IN DANGER AND I'M ONLY 19 YEARS. THE CHRYSLER 200 NEEDS TO BE RECALLED VERY DANGEROUS CAR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, SMOKE EMITTED FROM UNDERNEATH THE HOOD. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND THE ENGINE CAUGHT FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED AND TOWED TO AN IMPOUND. A FIRE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE CONTACT CALLED US AUTO SALES INC AT 313-952-2920 (LOCATED AT 27131 PLYMOUTH RD, REDFORD CHARTER TWP, MI 48239) AND WAS ADVISED TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 70,000.
ACCELERATOR GOT STUCK AND ALMOST DROVE CUSTOMER INTO A TREE. AT 43K MILES THEY REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION.
APPROXIMATELY 2 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASING MY 2013 CHRYSLER 200 LTD (6-CYL.; MILEAGE APPROX. 79K), THE CAR BEGAN RANDOMLY LOSING POWER AND STALLING OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING. WHEN THIS OCCURRED, I ONLY HAD A FEW SECONDS TO SLOWLY COAST TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD TO GET OFF THE HIGHWAY. THE CAR WOULD NOT RESTART, AND I HAD TO CALL A WRECKER. THIS HAS NOW HAPPENED 5 TIMES. ALL OF MY TRIPS WERE LOCAL WHEN THE ENGINE STALLS OCCURRED, AND EACH STALL CAME WITHOUT ANY WARNING WHILE I WAS SIMPLY CRUISING DOWN A HIGHWAY OR A CITY STREET, AND NOT TRAVELING UP OR DOWN ANY SIGNIFICANT SLOPES. WHEN THE CAR ENGINE DIED, THE DASHBOARD INDICATORS ALL ILLUMINATED WHILE THE ENGINE WAS DYING. I HAVE HAD CHRYSLER SERVICE RESPOND TO THE SCENE IMMEDIATELY TO GET DIAGNOSTICS, AND THE CAR IS NOT THROWING OUT ANY DIAGNOSTIC CODES. WHEN THE ENGINE DIES, IT CAN BE RESTARTED AFTER THE CAR SITS FOR AWHILE... MAYBE A FEW HOURS. THE PCM (COMPUTER) WAS REPLACED AND ALL SOFTWARE PATCHES HAVE BEEN INSTALLED, BUT THAT DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM. THE CAR HAS BEEN IN THE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP REPAIR SHOP OVER A MONTH NOW, WHILE THEY WAIT HOPEFULLY FOR A TECHNICAL WIZARD TO IMPART EXPLORATORY REPAIR MAGIC OVER THEIR STAR NETWORK. I SURE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MY CAR BACK....WORKING. I WAS FORTUNATE TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET MY CAR OFF THE ROAD ON THE OCCASIONS THAT IT DIED. I COULD HAVE BEEN IN A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION OTHERWISE. IT IS NOTED THAT NHTSA CLOSED THEIR INVESTIGATION OF THIS PROBLEM WITH THE CHRYSLER 200, SHORTLY AFTER A SOFTWARE PATCH WAS RELEASED IN SEPT. 2012.
MY VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND THE DRIVER'S SIDE HEADREST POPPED OUT. TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND WAS ADVISED THAT IT COULDN'T BE RESET. NOW IT JUST HURTS MY NECK WHEN DRIVING.*DT CONSUMER STATED THERE WERE NO INJURIES.*JB
WHILE IDLING, DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS OR IN PARK, THE CAR RANDOMLY STALLS. ALSO WHILE USING THE REMOTE START, AFTER TURNING THE CAR ON, IT STALLS. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL THINGS REPLACED ON THE CAR, BUT IT STILL RANDOMLY STALLS.

HAPPENS AT RANDOM WHILE DRIVING THE CAR WILL GO OUT OF GEAR AS IF IN NEUTRAL (AUTOMATIC TRANS VEHICLE ) THEN GO BACK IN GEAR JERKING THE WHOLE CAR SOMETIMES EVEN MAKING THE WHEELS SPIN . THIS HAS ALL HAPPENED WHILE THE CAR IS MOVING BOTH STREET AND HIGHWAY , TURNING AND DECELERATING.
I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR FOR A WHILE NOW. I LIVE IN A PLACE THAT IS BELOW 40 DEGREES MORE OFTEN THAN IT IS ABOVE 40 DEGREES. THE ISSUE THIS CAR AND MANY OTHERS ARE PLAGUED WITH IS A HEATER CORE AND RADIATOR THAT ARE PLUGGED DUE TO A MANUFACTURING ERROR FROM CHRYSLER DIRECTLY. A PLUGGED HEATER CORE AND RADIATOR NOT ONLY IS UNSAFE; IT IS UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICE. WHEN MY CAR DOES NOT PROPERLY HEAT, I CANNOT DEFROST MY WINDSHIELD BARRING MY VISIBILITY AND CREATING A MASSIVE SAFETY RISK FOR MYSELF AND FELLOW MOTORISTS. NOT ONLY DOES MY HEAT NOT WORK PROPERLY, MY CAR WILL OVERHEAT ON CERTAIN OCCASIONS. TO AN INEXPERIENCED CAR OWNER THE RISK OF DESTROYING THEIR ENGINE IS INCREDIBLY HIGH. THE REPAIR CAN RUN AS HIGH AS 1500 DOLLARS AT THE DEALERSHIP. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR AN ERROR THAT IS NOT MY OR A SHOPS OVERSIGHT, AND AN INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS OVERSIGHT AT THAT.

I WAS DRIVING WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN A HOT OIL LIGHT CAME ON MY 2013 CHRYSLER 200, 2.4L. I THEN PULLED OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND PROCEEDED TO TURN THE CAR OFF. WHEN I TRIED STARTING IT AGAIN GOT OIL LIGHT WAS ON. ENDED UP GETTING A TOW BACK TO MY HOUSE AND WENT OUT THERE A FEW HOURS LATER AND CRANKED IT UP AND THE ENGINE SHAKES BAD. *DSY
ON THE HEAT, THE VENT ON THE LEFT OF THE DRIVERS SIDE GETS NICE AND WARM, THE NEXT VENT TO THE RIGHT OF THE DRIVERS SIDE, GETS NOT AS WARM, THE NEXT VENT TO THE LEFT OF THE PASSENGERS SIDE VERY COOL, AND THE NEXT VENT TO THE RIGHT OF THE DRIVERS SIDE VERY COLD.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN A CITY STREET AT A SPEED OF 25 MPH AND MY HEAD RESTRAINT DEPLOYED. I WAS EXTREMELY STARTLED BY THIS. PLEASE BE CAREFUL BECAUSE THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. THIS INCIDENT LEFT ME SORE IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD. I'M NOT SURE WHAT CAUSED THE HEAD REST TO DEPLOY.
TORQUE CONVERTER STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY CAUSING THE CAR TO STALL WHILE AT SLOW SPEEDS AND BREAKING. THIS COULD BE IN URBAN AND RURAL SETTINGS. ANY EXAMPLE OF SLOWING DOWN, STOPPING, YIELDING, ETC. UPON DIAGNOSTICS IT WAS FOUND THE TORQUE CONVERTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, AS WELL AS A PUMP (WHICH ONE WAS NOT SPECIFIED BY THE SERVICE E TEAM) STARTING IN EARLY TO MID OCTOBER 2018

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CROWN CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM GREENSBORO (LOCATED AT 3710 W WENDOVER AVE, GREENSBORO, NC 27407, (336) 790-9850) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR BAG CLOCKSPRING ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,839.

THERE HAVE BEEN MULTIPLE TIMES THAT I'VE BEEN DRIVING W AND THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKS AND THE CAR SHUTS OFF. I HAVE TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP PUT IT IN PARK AND RESTART IT. I'VE BEEN LUCKY I HAVEN'T BEEN REAR ENDED ,
