IT WAS MY FIRST TIME PURCHASING A CAR. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO A LEGIT BUSINESS, NORTH AMERICAN AUTO GROUP. THEY ARE RIP OFFS. THEY SOLD ME A CAR WITH A CRACK WINDSHIELD AND TOLD ME I HAD TO FIX IT MYSELF BECAUSE THEY WAS NOT MAKING MUCH OFF THE CAR FOR THEM TO FIX IT, THEY TOLD ME THEY WAS UNABLE TO GIVE ME AN INSPECTION STICKER BECAUSE THEY DON'T DO THOSE, THE BRAKES STARTED TO GIVE OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING AND I WENT BACK TO LET THEM FIX IT. THEY SAID THEY DO NOT DO BRAKES AND IT'S NOT INCLUDED IN MY WARRANTY, THAT'S UP TO ME TO GET CHANGED ON MY OWN. OPENING AND CLOSING THE DOOR HAS LEFT ME WITH A DENT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. THE TIRES ARE HORRIBLE. THE STRUTS NEEDS TO BE FIXED AND I NEED A WHEEL ALIGNMENT. ALL OF THESE THINGS WERE SUPPOSE TO BE FIXED BEFORE I EVEN PURCHASED THE CAR.
THE HEATER COIL HAS STOP WORKING ON PASSENGERS SIDE, FROM BUILD UP OF SLUDGE. IT ONLY BLOWS HOT AIR ON DRIVER SIDE, NOT ALL THE TIME. SO I DO NOT HAVE A DEFROST TO KEEP MY WINDOWS CLEAR SO I DO NOT GOOD VISIBILITY. I HAVE RESEARCHED UP ON THIS ISSUE AND A LOT OF THESE CARS HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM

TAKATA RECALL THE AIRBAG IN THE HEADREST IS SHOWING IT IS NOT WORKING ON THE DASH. WAS TOLD IT IS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST AND WILL COST $500 TO REPLACE. THIS NOTIFICATION IS ON ALL THE TIME. NOTHING HAD HAPPENED YET BUT I AM CONCERNED IT COULD IF THE AIRBAG IS NOT REPLACED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHRYSLER 200. WHEN THE CONTACT TURNED ON THE HEAT IN THE VEHICLE, ONLY THE DRIVER'S SIDE WOULD HEAT UP, NOT THE PASSENGER SIDE. THE FAILURE PREVENTED THE WINDOW ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE FROM DEFROSTING AND MADE IT HARD FOR THE CONTACT TO SEE. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 48,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT COLD AIR WAS COMING FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE VENT WHEN THE DEFOGGER WAS ACTIVATED, WHICH PREVENTED THE WINDSHIELD FROM DEFROSTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TOA A THERMOSTAT WAS CLOGGED WITH GLUE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT RESEARCHED THE FAILURE ONLINE AND FOUND THAT THE GLUE THAT WAS USED IN THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS MELTED AND CLOGGED THE DEFOGGER LINES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 51,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
BOUGHT CARE USED FROM THE DEALER 9 MONTHS AGO AND AT APPROX. 52,000 MILES THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON WHILE DRIVING. THE CAR DECELERATED TO 30MPH AND LOST ALL THROTTLE CONTROL. LUCKILY I COULD PULL OVER AND GET OUT OF TRAFFIC AND WHEN I STOPPED THE ENGINE SHUTTERED VIOLENTLY THEN CUT OFF. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN FATAL IF IT HAPPENED ON THE INTERSTATE. HAD TO RESTART THE CAR OVER A DOZEN TIMES TO GET IT HOME. FINALLY GOT IT TO THE SHOP AND THEY HAVE REPLACE THE THROTTLE BODY AND COMPUTER. STILL AT THE SHOP AND THE ISSUE IS STILL NOT RESOLVED. THE BILL IS ALMOST $600 AND I DON'T HAVE A WORKING CAR . AFTER DOING RESEARCH I SEE THIS IS THE SAME ISSUE THAT HAPPENS TO THIS CAR. CHRYSLER REALLY NEEDS TO RECALL ALL OF THESE CARS AND REFUND ALL MONEY SO WE CAN BUY A CAR THAT RUNS AND WILL NOT POTENTIALLY KILL SOMEONE.
CAR ACTS AS IF IT DOES WANT TO ACCELERATE. MAKES A THUMPING JERKING MOTION WILL DRIVING. IT'SEEMS MOST NOTICEABLE WHILE INTERSTATE DRIVING HARD HESITATION TRYING TIME ACCELERATE. SINCE PURCHASED IN SEPTEMBER 2012 ALWAYS DRIVES SLUGGISH ON CITY HIGHWAY; THUMPING WAS NOTICEABLE-CHASED IT UP TO LEARNING A NEW VEHICLE. THUMBING GETTING HARDER AND FREQUENT....LIKE FAST "THUMP JERK, THUMB JERKING, THUMP JERK"-. I ALWAYS HAVE PLENTY OF GAS. IT HAPPENS WITH 87 OR 89 OCTANE.
DASHBOARD INDICATOR LIGHT CAME ON INDICATING AIRBAG FAILURE. DEALER, FINDLAY CHRYSLER, WILSONVILLE, OR, CONFIRMED THAT DEFECT PRESENT VIA "DRIVER ACTIVE HEADREST CONTROL CIRCUIT BEING OPEN". DEALER REFUSED TO REPAIR (CAR HAS 33,403 MILES).
TAKATA RECALL. THIS HAS HAPPENED REPEATEDLY OVER THE PAST 2 YEARS. WHILE DRIVING MY CAR, MY FRONT AND REAR LIGHTS STOP WORKING. HAZARDS AND BLINKERS INCLUDED. TODAY, IT LASTED NEARLY 9 HOURS. I WENT TO O REILEYS AND AUTO ZONE TO HAVE MY CAR TESTED. I AM A MOM OF 4 GIRLS, SO THEY TOOK SYMPATHY AND TRIED TO HELP. COULDN'T FIND WHAT THE ISSUE WAS, I WAS TOLD TO GO TO A CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP AND HAVE IT LOOKED OVER. I DON'T HAVE THE INCOME TO PAY A MECHANIC. WHILE WAITING IN LINE AT MY DAUGHTERS SCHOOL, THE RIGHT FRONT LIGHT DECIDED TO WORK AND MY BACK REAR LEFT LIGHT DECIDED TO WORK. THEN LIGHTS CAME BACK ON AND AC STOPPED BLOWING COLD AIR. MY CARS DASH BOARD REPEATEDLY KEPT LETTING ME KNOW WHICH LIGHTS WEREN'T WORKING. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT NEVER CAME ON. IT WAS TERRIFYING.
THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS RANDOMLY CUT ON WHILE DRIVING ON DAYS THAT THERE IS NO RAIN OR WATER PRESENT. THE AIR CONDITIONER ALSO CHANGES IT SETTINGS WHEN IT IS NOT ON "AUTO" AND MY CRUISE CONTROL WILL ONLY WORK ABOUT 30% OF THE TIME. IT WILL NOT SET TO THE SPEED I HAVE SELECTED.
I RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTICE FOR MY VEHICLE AND TOOK IT TO THE DEALER, VATLAND CHRYSLER DODGE IN VERO BEACH, FL, ON 8/29/2017 WHO DETERMINED WHICH MODULES NEEDED REPLACEMENT RELATED TO MY RECALL (S61/NHTSA 16V-668). I AM TOLD BY THE DEALER THAT THE PARTS REQUIRED ARE BACKLOGGED NATIONWIDE. IT HAS BEEN OVER 7 MONTHS SINCE I INITIALLY RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTICE. THIS ISSUE IS NOT BEING ADDRESSED IN A TIMELY MANNER. PASSENGERS IN MY VEHICLE CONTINUE TO BE AT RISK. WHEN WILL THE PARTS BE AVAILABLE?

ALL THE DEALERS STATED THAT PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND OPENED A CASE FOR THE CONTACT, BUT STATED THAT PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
I WAS NOTIFIED OF A SAFETY RECALL AND HAVE BEEN TRYING TO SCHEDULE FOR THE REPAIR FOR 2-3 MONTHS NOW WITH NO LUCK.

THE CONTACT WAS UNCERTAIN IF A SERVICE WARRANTY WOULD COVER THE DIAGNOSTIC AND REPAIR COST. THE DEALER (RON BOUCHARD CHRYSLER DODGE RAM, 288 LUNENBURG ST, FITCHBURG, MA 01420, (978) 345-1800) WAS NOTIFIED AND INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY RECALL CAMPAIGNS. THE DEALER DID NOT MENTION NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 13V043000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE) AND 13V552000 (ENGINE). IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V668000 (AIR BAGS). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
I WENT TO GET AN APPRAISAL ON MY CAR FOR TRADE IN WHEN DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THEY COULDNT GIVE ME FULL KELLY BLUE BOOK VALUE BECAUSE OF A RECALL. I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED ABOUT A RECALL AND HAD THE CAR FOR 2 YEARS. I THEN TRIED GETTING A HOLD OF CHRYSLER NO ANSWER AND FINALLY TALKED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM MOPAR THAT TOLD ME THERE IS NOTHING RHEY CAN DO ABOUT IT BUT PUT ME ON A TRACKING LIST WHEN AND IF THEY GET PARTS TO FIX MY CAR. I GOT SCREWED ROYALLY BC I CANT GET MORE MONEY FOR MY TRADE IN AND NOW AM DRIVING A CAR WITH AN AIRBAG RECALL. SO DISAPPOINTED AND PISSED OFF!!
HEADLIGHT ARE TERRIBLE. CAN NOT TRAVEL AT NIGHT. DEALER HAS ALIGNED THEM 6 TIMES AND SAYS HE CAN NOT FIX PROBLEM. HIGH BEAM SHINES UP TO THE TREE TOPS. CAN NOT SEE TO TURN LEFT. AFTER I BOUGHT SALESMAN SAID HIS WIFE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH HER'SISTER, TRADED IT IN. I SAID WHY IN THE HELL DID U NOT TELL ME BEFORE I BOUGHT. TAKATA RECALL: ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH, 2017, I SET UP A REPAIR APPOINTMENT FOR MY 2013 CHRYSLER 200 AT A RELATIVELY NEW-NAMED AUTO REPAIR PLACE CALLED UMANSKI (FROM OUT OF TENNESSEE) HERE IN CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA, ON ROUTE 29 NORTH FOR THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH, 2017, AFTER RECEIVING VIA U.S. MAIL "AN IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE FOR OWNERS OF VEHICLES WITH TAKATA AIRBAG INFLATORS" ALSO ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH, 2017. MONTHS BEFORE RECEIVING THIS NOTICE, I HAD RECEIVED AN "IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL NOTICE IN REFERENCE TO THE "OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER" WHICH I HAD PLACED IN THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT OF MY CAR TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AT A LATER DATE (WHEN PERSONAL MONIES WERE AVAILABLE) FOR THE AFOREMENTIONED REPAIR; HOWEVER, MY ATTENTION WAS RE-FOCUSED AGAIN ON THIS "IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL NOTICE" (WHICH HAD BEEN IN MY GLOVE COMPARTMENT FOR MONTHS AND SENT TO ME BY FIAT CHRYSLER AUTOMOBILES U.S. LLC OF FORT MYERS, FLA.). I RECEIVED A 3RD NOTICE (LEGAL) FROM TK HOLDINGS INCORPORATED., ET AL., DEBTORS, P.O. BOX 3004, MONROE, WISCONSIN, 53566-3004 ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH, 2017 (THE SAME DAY I MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE MY CAR REPAIRED AT UMANSKI). MY VERY FIRST NOTICE CAME TO ME AROUND THE BEGINNING OF 2017 OR THE END OF 2016 AT WHICH TIME I WAS REQUIRED TO GO ONLINE TO COMPLETE A FORM REGARDING THIS MATTER. SO FAR AS MY BRAKES ARE CONCERNED, THE BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON FREQUENTLY FOR WHATEVER THE REASON. I'VE HAD AN INCIDENT WHERE IT SEEMED THAT MY CAR WAS LOSING POWER WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT ON A HIGHWAY.

EVER SINCE I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE IN JULY, 2017, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON WITH THE MESSAGE "GASCAP" SHOWING ON THE ODOMETER. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO BE CHECKED NUMEROUS TIMES, AND NO ONE CAN FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. I'VE ALSO REPLACED THE GASCAP THREE TIMES. I DON'T SEE WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS BROUGHT IN IN 2013 ON THE CAR FAX REPORT FOR FUEL TANK PROBLEM RECALL. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME? I NEVER RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR THIS SINCE I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR IN 2017.
The front drivers airbag light is on indicating the airbag does not work.

THE BRAKES SQUEAL ALL OF THE TIME AND THE PASSENGER SEAT BELT IS UNDER A RECALL. THEY SAY THE BRAKES ALWAYS SQUEAL. IT'S NORMAL. ALSO HAD TO GET THE TRANSMISSION REPROGRAMMED BECAUSE OF THE DOWNSHIFT PROBLEMS WHILE DRIVING.

ENGINE STOPPED WHILE WAITING AT RED LIGHT AND WOULD NOT START BACK UP. ALL LIGHTS RADIO ECT.. WERE WORKING. CAR HAD GAS. GOT A HOTSHOT, CAR STARTED BACK UP. THE NEXT DAY GO TO START CAR AND IT WOULDN'T START. 2DAYS WORK MISSED. UPSET$?!!
WIPERS WON'T SHUT OFF, ELECTRICAL FAILURE
CAR WOULD NOT START. THE LIGHTS WORKED, AAA CAME AND CHECKED PLUGS OTHER THINGS UNDER THE HOOD AND RESET THE FUEL PUMP BUTTON. IT STIL WOULD NOT START. THEY TOWED IT TO A REPAIR SHOP, WHO PUT A NEW FUEL PUMP IN. EXACTLY 30 DAYS LATER, THE SAME THING HAPPENED. A DIFFERENT TOW TRUCK DRIVER CAME, TRIED THE SAME THINGS AND TOWED IT TO THE SHOP. SHOP OWNERS SAID IT IS STARTING FINE; BUT WANTED TO KEEP IT OVER THE WEEKEND TO TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IS HAPPENING. WHILE THIS DID OCCUR AFTER THE CAR HAD BEEN SITTING FOR A FEW HOURS, I AM CONCERNED THAT IT WILL HAPPEN ON THE ROAD. THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED, I WAS AT THE EMERGENCY ROOM AT THE HOSPITAL, AND IT HAD BEEN SITTING IN THE PARKING LOT FOR ABOUT THREE HOURS. LAST WEEK, IT JUST DID NOT START ONE MORNING. THE NIGHT BEFORE, I WAS DRIVING WITH A FRIEND IN THE CAR, AND I TOLD HER SOMETHING DIDN'T SOUND RIGHT- BUT I KEPT DRIVING. THERE IS A CLICKING NOISE THAT SEEMS TO BE COMING FROM THE AC/HEATER VENTS THAT MAY BE UNRELATED. THE FIRST INCIDENT WAS 6/20/17 AND THE SECOND ON 7/20/17.

WE HAVE REPLACED THE POWER STEERING PUMP TWICE THINKING THAT WAS THE PROBLEM FOR THE HARD STEERING. IT TURNS OUT THAT IT IS THE RACK AND PINION THAT IS GOING OR HAS GONE OUT WHICH LEADS TO THE HARD STEERING PROBLEM. THE HARD STEERING HAPPENS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION AND WHILE TURNING.
