TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS BEING INSPECTED, THE FRONT SUB FRAME WAS FOUND TO BE SEVERELY CORRODED IN THE ENGINE CARRIAGE AREA. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 99,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HAVING MAINTENANCE DONE ON THE VEHICLE, THE TECHNICIAN ADVISED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER AND DRIVER SIDE TIE ROD DID NOT HAVE ANY GREASE FITTINGS. AS A RESULT, BOTH TIE RODS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT ALL FOUR WHEELS WERE CORRODED CAUSING AIR TO ESCAPE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE TECHNICIAN DECIDED TO USE A POWER BRUSH TO CLEAN THE WHEEL AND APPLIED A RUBBER SEALANT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 22,000. *TR UPDATED 5/9/13 *CN THE RIGHT AND LEFT OUTER TIE RODS WERE REPLACED.
I WILL HEAR A CHIME AND LOOK TO SEE WHY AND THE ABS LIGHT WILL BE ON. THEN WHEN I HIT THE BRAKES SOMETIMES THEY FEEL FINE OTHER TIMES THEY FEEL SPONGY. I HAVE READ WHERE THIS IS A ONGOING PROBLEM WITH PACIFICAS. THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL AND CHRYSLER NEEDS TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS. *TR
MY HUSBAND WAS ON THE HWY DOING 55 WHEN MY CAR JUST WENT WHEW AND LOST ALL POWER, WE HAD IT TOWED TO THE GARAGE WHERE THEY TOLD US THE MOTOR HAD A CRACK ON BOTH SIDES OF IT. THE MECHANIC SAID HE HAD NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT AND HAD NO IDEA WHAT WOULD HAVE CAUSED IT. THE CAR HAD JUST HAD AN OIL CHANGE THE WEEK BEFORE AND HAD THE REQUIRED AMOUNT OF OIL, ANTIFREEZE IN IT. DID THIS HAPPEN BECAUSE OF A POSSIBLE DEFECT? *TR
CAR WAS PARKED/ SPONTANIOUS FIRE/ INSIDE TOTALLED. *TR
SINCE I HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE (2013) THERE HAVE BEEN PROBLEMS WITH GETTING THE CAR RUNNING AGAIN. FIRST WHILE IN MOTION THE VEHICLE WOULD TREMOR (IN THE FRONT) BEFORE SHUTTING DOWN, PARTICULARLY IF GOING ABOVE 25-30 MPH. WHEN THE CAR WAS SHUT OFF BY KEY IGNITION AND TURNED BACK ON IT WOULD START AGAIN. CODES FOR OXYGEN SENSOR WOULD COME UP, HAD THAT FIXED. PROBLEM BEGAN AGAIN A FEW MONTHS LATER. MULTIPLE TIMES WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY/OPEN ROAD THE SENSORS ON THE PANEL ALL LITE UP AND THE CAR SHUT DOWN. I HAD THE ALTERNATOR REPLACED TWICE FOR THIS ISSUE; THINKING THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. PRIOR TO THE SECOND ALTERNATOR REBUILD/REPLACEMENT THE FUEL GAUGE WOULD FLUCTUATE AFTER REACHING HALF A TANK. MOST OF THE TIME IT WOULD READ EMPTY WHEN THE TANK WAS HALF FULL; OR EMPTY WHEN THE TANK IS FULL. I NOTICED THE GAUGE WOULD DROP IF A TURN WAS MADE OR THE CAR HIT A BUMP/POT HOLE IN THE CITY STREET/HIGHWAY. I ATTEMPTED TO REPLICATE CONDITIONS TO GET THE GAUGE TO GO BACK TO NORMAL, THIS DID NOT ALWAYS WORK.OCCASIONALLY IT WOULD WAVE AROUND WHILE DRIVING. THE CAR BEGAN TO READ CODE FOR FUEL SYSTEM ISSUES. HAD THIS TESTED, FUEL SYSTEM WAS FINE; YET PROBLEM CONSISTED. WITH A HALF FULL TANK, THE CAR WOULD REPEATEDLY READ EMPTY, NOT ALLOW ANY ADDITIONAL GAS TO BE PUT INTO THE TANK (WOULD CUT OFF AT PUMP AS IF TANK WERE FULL), AND SHUT DOWN WHILE DRIVING IN DIFFERENT ROAD CONDITIONS AS IF THERE WERE NO GAS IN THE CAR. RIGHT NOW THE GAS GAUGE CONTINUES TO READ EMPTY WHEN THERE IS GAS IN THE TANK, I HAVE TROUBLE FILLING THE TANK AS IT CUTS OFF THE PUMP REPEATEDLY NOT ALLOWING NEW GAS TO BE PUT IN, THE CAR CUTS OFF OFTEN WHILE DRIVING.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS MERGED TO THE SHOULDER AND THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHERE A DIAGNOSTIC TEST WAS PERFORMED AND THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE FUEL PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THE FAILURE UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06V432000 (POWER TRAIN) HOWEVER, THE CONTACT'S VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 58,000.
SPORADICALLY THE ABS & BRAKE WARNING LIGHTS COME ON THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS COME ON AND THE RADIO CUTS OUT. THE MAIN ISSUE IS THAT WHEN ALL OF THIS HAPPENS THE HEADLIGHTS ALSO FLICKER AND GO OUT. WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT THE HEADLIGHTS ARE VERY DISTRACTING TO MYSELF AS WELL AS OTHER VEHICLES ON THE ROAD. ONCE I WAS DRIVING AT NIGHT AND MY HEADLIGHTS COMPLETELY WENT OUT FOR A FEW SECONDS. THE DEALER CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT IS CAUSING THE ISSUE AND THERE IS NO SPECIFIC REASON THAT CAUSES IT TO HAPPEN. *TR

CONSUMER REQUESTS REIMBURSEMENT FOR A FUEL PUMP REPLACEMENT. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED PRIOR TO THE REPLACEMENT, SHE WAS NOT INFORMED OR NOTIFIED OF A RECALL, UNTIL A GOOGLE SEARCH REVEALED THE RECALL. ALSO, IN FEBRUARY 2013, THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WAS REPLACED AT A COST OF $800 AND THE BRAKE SYSTEM WAS REPLACED AT A COST OF $500.00.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE FUEL TANK WAS FILLED, IT CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO STALL. THE FAILURE HAD OCCURRED INTERMITTENTLY, HOWEVER THE FAILURE HAD BECOME PERMANENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 113,000.
NOTICED A COUPLE OF TIMES THAT THE CAR HESITATED WHEN MERGING ON TO HIGHWAY OR ACCELERATING ON THE HIGHWAY. TODAY HOWEVER, IT DID THAT IN TOWN, GOING ABOUT 35 MPH AND THEN STALLED, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND SMOKE CAME OUT FROM UNDER THE HOOD. NOW IT WON'T EVEN START. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE RUBBER BUSHING ENGINE MOUNTS BECAME WORN, CAUSING THE ENGINE TO MOVE WHILE THE CONTACT WAS ACCELERATING. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO HAVE THE ENGINE MOUNTS REPLACED. ONE YEAR AFTER THE REPAIR, THE FAILURE RECURRED CAUSING THE ENGINE TO MOVE FREELY WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS NOT IN MOTION. THE CONTACT TOWED THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER TO HAVE THE ENGINE MOUNTS REPLACED A SECOND TIME. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 56,000.
THE AUTO SHOP THAT REPAIRED OUR CAR SAID THESE PROBLEMS WERE NOT FROM THE ACCIDENT, WE FIXED THE SPEED CONTROL, NOW IT STILL SAYING WE ARE GOING 50 AND WERE GOING 30, THE SWAY BAR IS NOT FROM THE WRECK EITHER, THIS CAR HAS TROUBLE TOO MUCH AIR IS OUT TOO, IT'S BEEN MONEY, MONEY THANK YOU. *TR
MY CAR STARTED TO JERK FORWARD WHEN I WOULD ACCELERATE FROM A COMPLETE STOP. I ALSO HAD TO PRESS HARD ON GAS PEDAL BECAUSE IT WOULD STICK A LITTLE. FINALLY TOOK CAR IN AND IT WAS A BROKEN MOTOR MOUNT. NOT EVEN 6 MONTHS LATER MY CAR STARTED TO MAKE A GRINDING NOISE AND SEEMED TO STICK A LITTLE WHEN I WOULD ACCELERATE. I TOOK CAR BACK TO SHOP AND IT IS ANOTHER BROKEN MOTOR MOUNT. AFTER SPEAKING WITH THE MECHANIC I LEARNED THAT THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM IN THE PACIFICA, SO MUCH SO THAT THE MOTOR MOUNT I NEEDED WAS ON BACKORDER FOR 3 WEEKS. *TR
I HAVE VERY DANGEROUS PROBLEM WITH ENGINE CRADLE RUST ON MY 2006 AND CHRYSLER REFUSES TO PROVIDE ANY WARRANTY HELP. VEHICLE ONLY HAS 58,000 MILES. CHRYSLER HAS A 10 YEAR 150K MILE WARRANTY ON 2004 AND 2005 FOR ENGINE CRADLE RUSTING OUT. THEY REFUSE TO EXPLAIN WHY THE '04 AND '05 HAVE EXTENDED WARRANTY BUT THE 06 IS NOT, OTHER THAN IT IS PAST 3 YEAR MILEAGE WARRANTY. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE FRAME FAILED. THE CONTACT NOTICE BROWN WATER WAS RELEASING FROM THE ENGINE AREA. THE CONTACT INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND FOUND THE ENGINE FRAME CORRODED WITH HOLES DUE TO DEFECTIVE MATERIAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO HAVE THE ENGINE FRAMES REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 84,000.
TL* THE CONTACT 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT NO PARTICULAR SPEED THE VEHICLE STALLED WITH THE ENTIRE INSTRUMENT PANEL ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE RESTARTED AFTER THE CONTACT STEPPED ON THE BRAKE PEDAL AND TURNED THE KEY SIMULTANEOUSLY. THERE WAS A RECALL UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 06V432000(POWER TRAIN). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE ALTERNATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 95,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS BEING SERVICED FOR AN UNRELATED RECALL, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE FRONT SUBFRAME WAS SEVERELY CORRODED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO HAVE AN OIL CHANGE. IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE ENGINE WAS DETACHING DUE TO THE SEVERE CORROSION OF THE FRONT SUBFRAME. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 54,000.
WE HAVE HAD MULTIPLE ISSUES WITH THIS VEHICLE SINCE WE PURCHASED IT. FIRST ISSUE WAS THE CV BOOTS THAT HAD COMPLETELY DISINTEGRATED. THIS OCCURRED 62,123 MILES. NEXT ISSUE THAT IS STILL OCCURRING TODAY AND DEEPLY CONCERNS ME IS THAT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL STICKS FROM TIME TO TIME. NOT SURE WHAT CAUSES THAT TO HAPPEN BUT IT SCARES THE LIVING DAY LIGHTS OUT OF ME ON A WEEKLY BASIS. SHORTLY AFTER THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE PANEL READ GASCAP. WELL WE BOUGHT A NEW GAS CAP AND THE ISSUE WAS NOT RESOLVED. SINCE THEN WE WERE TOLD IT WAS THE FUEL PUMP THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. AGAIN, MORE MONEY OUT OF OUR POCKET SO UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE NOT HAD THE REPAIR DONE SINCE WE DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY FOR IT. NEXT AND BIGGEST ISSUE OFF ALL IS THAT WHILE DRIVING DOWN OUR STREET I HEARD A NOISE THAT CONCERNED ME. WHEN I GOT HOME THERE WAS A TAPPING UNDER THE HOOD, THE TAPPING HAS BEEN CONTINUOUS SINCE THEN. THE ORIGINAL MILEAGE AT THAT TIME WAS 85,625 MILES. AFTER MULTIPLE TRIPS TO SEVERAL DIFFERENT MECHANICS IT HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED AS A TAPPING LIFTER. WELL THIS IS A VERY VERY EXPENSIVE REPAIR. SO EASIEST THING FOR US TO DO IS TO TRADE IN OUR CAR....NOT THE CASE. OUR CAR NOW HAS NO TRADE-IN VALUE BECAUSE OF THE LIFTER ISSUE. I AM BESIDE MYSELF AND I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT THESE ARE ALL ISSUES THAT CHRYSLER SHOULD ADDRESS UNDER WARRANTY. THE MAINTENANCE ON OUR VEHICLE IS DONE ON A REGULAR BASIS TO AVOID ISSUES LIKE THIS. I FEEL QUITE CHEATED BY CHRYSLER AND WISH I COULD REQUEST A REFUND FOR ALL OF THE REPAIRS WE HAVE HAD TO DO WHILE OWNING THIS VEHICLE. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED WITH THE ILLUMINATION OF THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE DRIVEN TO THE CONTACT'S DESTINATION AND WAS LATER TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE FUEL PUMP HAD FAILED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED ABOUT THE ISSUE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THEIR VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 06V432000 (POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM, PCM)). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 77,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MOTOR MOUNTS FRACTURED A TOTAL OF THREE TIMES. WITH THE MOST RECENT FAILURE, THE LIFTERS INSIDE THE ENGINE WERE DAMAGED, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO BECOME INOPERABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 102,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS THE VEHICLE WOULD MADE A LOUD NOISE AND IT STALLED WHENEVER SHIFTED INTO REVERSE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE MOTOR MOUNTS, TORQUE STRUTS, AND BRACKETS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED ON ANY RECALLS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 132,750 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 132,833.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 55 MPH WHEN THE FUEL PUMP BECAME CRACKED, CAUSING THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FUEL PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT DID NOT HAVE THE FUEL PUMP REPLACED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,183.
ENGINE MOUNT BROKE. HAD IT FIXED AND 3 WEEKS LATER IT HAPPENED AGAIN. JUST BOUGHT THE VEHICLE FROM CARBONE AUTO LESS THAN A YEAR AGO. I'M NOT RICH AND I JUST WANT A CAR I CAN DRIVE. I CANT KEEP REPLACING THESE. CARBONE AUTO KNOWS THE KIND OF VEHICLE THEY SOLD ME AND I TRUSTED THEM. THEY SEEM LIKE THEY DON'T CARE WHEN I GO THERE AND THEY JUST SAY MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. I CANT KEEP TAKING TIME OFF FOR THIS ON A WHIM. THEY SELL YOU A CAR AND DON'T CARE. CHRYSLER TOOK OUR MONEY IN A BAILOUT,AT LEAST THEY CAN DO IS CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. NEW OR USED VEHICLE. *TR
GAS PEDAL STICKS WHEN ACCELERATING FROM STOP POSITION. GAS TANK GAUGE DROPS FROM 90 GALS TO 30 IN A MATTER OF SECONDS. BODY PAINT IS BUBBLING. ANY RECALLS OR WARRANTIES ON THESE ISSUES? *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, A CHIME SOUNDED AS THE ABS AND THE BRAKE WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND ALL OF THE WARNING AND EXTERIOR LIGHTS ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.

THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE BUT WAS UNABLE TO SHIFT THE GEAR INTO DRIVE OR REVERSE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC PERFORMED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
THE GEAR SHIFT ON THE CENTER CONSOLE WILL NOT COME OUT OF PARK. I WENT OUT TO START THE CAR TO GO TO WORK AND THE CAR WOULD START UP, BUT I COULDN'T SHIFT OUT OF PARK. I REMOVED THE TRIM TO EXPOSE THE QUICK RELEASE BUTTON AND THAT DIDN'T WORK EITHER. AFTER RESEARCHING THE ISSUE, I'VE FOUND THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE WITH CHRYSLER PACIFICA'S HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS ISSUE. I CALLED A COUPLE OF DEALERSHIPS AND THEY HAD JUST RECEIVED CARS THAT VERY DAY WITH THE SAME ISSUE. I ALSO LEARNED THAT DODGE'S HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING THIS SAME ISSUE AND A RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUED ON THEM. I AM WRITING SO THAT THIS ISSUE CAN BE INVESTIGATED FURTHER AND A RECALL ISSUED. *TR
OUR CHRYSLER PACIFICA GAS PEDAL STICKS WHEN YOU TRY TO ACCELERATE. *JS
WHILE IN REVERSE IN PARKING LOT, CAR STALLED CAUSING LOSS OF BRAKING POWER AND VEHICLE ROLLED INTO ANOTHER PARKED VEHICLE. SINCE INCIDENT, WHEN VEHICLE IS PLACED INTO REVERSE, VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY STALLS. ALSO, MOTOR MOUNTS HAVE BROKEN AND THIS APPEARS TO BE A BIG ISSUE WITH THE PACIFICAS. *TR

THE CONTACT STATED THE DEALER WAS GOING TO REPLACE ONE PART OF THE FUEL PUMP MODULE AND REQUESTED THAT THE CONTACT COVER THE REST OF PARTS OF THE MODULE AND LABOR COSTS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE HOWEVER PROVIDED NO ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 73,000.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THERE WAS SMOKE COMING FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE REAR, THE LOWER FRONT, AND THE FRONT UPPER MOTOR MOUNTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.

MY CRADLE HAS 3 LARGE RUST HOLES ON THE PASSENGER SIDE WE TOOK IT OFF THE ROAD LOOKING FOR A NEW CRADLE AND IT SEEMS 2 BE A REAL PROBLEM WITH THESE CARS STAY AWAY FROM CHRYSLER PACIFICAS IN GENERAL IF U WANT 2 BE SAFE . IT SEEMS WHEN MY HUSBAND WOULD CHANGE THE OIL ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR WAS ALWAYS WATER SITTING IN THE CRADLE OR MOISTURE IN THE AREA. GREAT JOB ENGINEERS ON THE MAKING OF THE ENGINE DROP CARS THAT PEOPLE SPEND BIG MONEY ON & IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES. STAY AWAY 2 B SAFE

WE BOUGHT A CHRY PACIFICA FROM COUNTRY CLUB JUNE 25,2011 WITH 89,000 MILES ON IT. DURING A ROUTINE OIL CHANGE ON APRIL 30,2012, THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE SUBFRAME CROSS MEMBER WAS ROTTED OUT AND IT WAS UNFIXABLE IMMEDIATELY CALLED DEALER TOOK IT THAT SAME DAY. THEY AGREED THAT THE FRAME WAS ROTTED AND WE REQUESTED A RENTAL WHILE REPAIRS COULD BE MADE INSTEAD THEY TRIED SELLING US A CAR. SPENT HALF A DAY AT THE DEALERS AND HAD TO DRIVE THE UNSAFE CAR HOME AND STILL NO PREVAIL ON GETTING US A RENTAL CAR OR TOLD US WHEN THE REPAIRS COULD BE MADE OR IF THEY COULD FIND PARTS. STILL WAITING WILL SEND ANOTHER REPORT WHEN PROBLEM IS RESOLVED. *JS

THE HIGH BEAMS WORK FINE ALONG WITH THE SIGNALS, HORN, FLASHERS, ETC.. I KNOW CHRYSLER HAS A RECALL ON THE 2005 MODELS, AND CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THE 2006 ARE NOT INCLUDED!! IT'S THE SAME PROBLEM. *TR

THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 105,000.
TWICE MY CAR HAS FROZE UP (CAR FELT LIKE IT WAS IN SLOW, STIFF MOTION) WHILE DRIVING IN THE RAIN GOING ABOUT;1ST TIME 20MPH AND 2ND TIME OF ISSUE 30MPH. THE BATTERY LIGHT WOULD COME ON WITH THE DING SOUND TO ALERT YOU AND THEN IT WOULD FREEZE UP WHILE DRIVING DOWN A ROAD AND LUCKILY IN BOTH INCIDENTS I WAS ABLE TO GET OVER AND OUT OF THE WAY OF TRAFFIC. I WOULD PUT THAT CAR IN TO PARK, SHUT IT OFF, AND TURN IT BACK ON AND IT WOULD DRIVE NORMAL AGAIN. FOUR DIFFERENT MECHANICS HAS TESTED THE CAR BUT CAN NOT FIND THE PROBLEM TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE. AND IN BOTH INCIDENTS I HAD MY 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN THE CAR WITH ME. IF I WOULD HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GET OUT OF THE WAY THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A DIFFERENT LETTER. ALSO ANOTHER ISSUES IS THE BACK TAILGATE WILL NOT STAY UP IN COLD WEATHER AND HAS COME CRASHING DOWN ON MY HEAD MORE THAN ONCE. THAT IS VERY PAINFUL AND STARTLING TO HAVE HAPPEN TO YOU WHEN YOU ARE PUTTING GROCERIES IN YOUR CAR. ON MARCH 20TH 2012 I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK WHEN THE DRIVER SIDE STRUT MOUNT BROKE, SLIGHTLY ALLOWING THE STRUT TO DAMAGE MY HOOD AND BREAK MY INNER TIE ROD END. I IMMEDIATELY PARKED THE VEHICLE CALLED AAA AND HAD IT TOWED TO MY HOUSE. ON MARCH 23 I PURCHASED A NEW STRUT MOUNT AND ON THE 24TH REPLACED THE BROKEN ONE WITH THE NEW ONE. UNFORTUNATELY I DID THE WORK MYSELF AND DIDN'T NOTICE MY INNER TIE ROD BROKE. WHICH LED TO MY VEHICLE NEEDING TO BE CHECKED BY MY MECHANIC ABOUT 8 MONTHS LATER WHEN MY OUTER TIE ROD END GAVE WAY DAMAGING IN THE PROCESS THE WHEEL BEARINGS AND THE DRIVER SIDE AXLE. I HAD EVERYTHING FIXED AND RAN INTO NO MORE PROBLEMS UNTIL JULY 17TH 2013 WHEN MY FRONT END ALIGNMENT STARTED TO SLIP AND A NOTICEABLE KNOCKING NOISE STARTED COMING FROM MY FRONT END. I IMMEDIATELY SET UP AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE MY VEHICLE SERVICED AT KELLY CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP IN LEHIGH VALLEY AND THEY WERE ABLE TO GET ME IN A WEEK LATER. IT TOOK THEM ROUGHLY A WEEK TO FIX MY CAR. BUT THEY REPLACED MY UPPER ENGINE MOUNT, FRONT LOWER ENGINE MOUNT, L/F INNER OUTER TIE ROD ENDS AND REMOVED A DAMAGED EXHAUST SHIELD. BUT THEY STILL COULDN'T' TELL ME WHY MY ALIGNMENT WAS OFF AND WHAT THE KNOCKING NOISE WAS. TOWARDS THE END OF AUGUST MY PASSENGER SIDE STRUT MOUNT BROKE AND I HAD IT REPLACED RIGHT AWAY. THEN AGAIN IN NOVEMBER THIS TIME COMPLETELY RIPPING THROUGH THE HOOD. THEN AGAIN IN FEBRUARY, MARCH AND NOW TODAY 5/7/2014 I NOTICED THE PASSENGER SIDE STRUT MOUNT IS ON THE VERGE OF BREAKING AGAIN. AFTER SPEAKING TO A COUPLE OF PACIFICA OWNERS IN MY AREA I HAVE COME TO FIND OUT THESE PROBLEMS ARE COMMON ALONG WITH ENGINE SHUT OFFS AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS BEING ON FOR NO REASON. ITS APPARENT THAT THE 3/8TH INCH THICK PLATE THAT THE STRUTS SIT ON ARE NOT ADEQUATE ENOUGH TO HANDLE THE WEIGHT OF THE VEHICLES ALONG WITH THE CONSTANT JERKING MOTION OFF THE CAR FROM THE STICKY GAS PEDDLE. *TR

STALLING ALLLLLLLLOT,ESPECIALLY WHILE I'M DRIVING WITH MY KIDS. MAKING A U-TURN AND JUST SIMPLY PARKING INTO A SPACE NO GO.. GAS CAP LIGHT IS ON, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON.... CURRENTLY VEHICLE IS AT DEALERSHIP WHICH WAS CHARGING US $2,632.00 TO FIX PROBLEMS, BESIDES OVERCHARGING RIDICULOUSLY, CHRYSLER OFFERED TO PAY MOST OF BILL AFTER DOING RESEARCH AND REALIZING WE WERE GETTING RIPPED OFF, A TWO DAY JOB IS NOW TURNED INTO 1WEEK, NO VEHICLE, NO LOANER.. 6YRS. LATER FAILED EMISSIONS TEST IS WHAT PROMPTED ME TO TAKE IT TO A DEALERSHIP...NOW I CANNOT PASS AN EMISSIONS TEST NOR REGISTER MY VEHICLE @ END MONTH>( TODAY). WHEN IT IS RAINING OUTSIDE OR I GO OVER A PUDDLE, MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKS UP. I NOTICED LATELY THAT THE BATTERY LIGHT GOES ON AS WELL BUT THEN GOES OFF AFTER I REGAIN CONTROL OF THE STEERING WHEEL. I AM SOOOO SCARED TO DRIVE THIS CAR AND DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.
