Headlights: low beams do not work at all but high beams do. Second time this vehicle has had the same problem. Last time Chrysler replaced under a lifetime replacement, just short of a recall yet here I am having the same problem again.
SOMETIMES WHEN I TURN THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH ON, THE HEADLIGHTS DO NOT COME ON. I HAVE NOTICED IT HAPPENS STATIONARY AND IN MOTION.
BACKED OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY, HEADLIGHTS FLICKERED, WOULD NOT STAY ON, HIGH BEAM WORKED, LOW BEAMS CAME ON, WENT OFF SEVERAL TIMES, WOULD NOT STAY ON. THIS IS FOR THE DATE TODAY 9/16/15, THE DATE FIELD ABOVE DOESN'T ACCEPT NUMERALS.
TURNED THE LIGHTS ON AS IT WAS GETTING DARK WHILE DRIVING AND EVEN ON HIGH BEAMS IT WAS IF HEADLIGHTS WERE BARELY ON. ALSO THE LEFT FRONT BLINKER FAILED ALTHOUGH THE BACK BLINKER DID WORK BUT FLASHED EXTREMELY FAST. REPLACED BOTH HEADLIGHTS AND STILL HAVE TO USE HEADLIGHTS ON BRIGHT TO SEE AS IF THE LIGHTS ARE ON DIM. THE LEFT FRONT BLINKER AND SIDE LIGHT FAILED WITHIN A MONTH OF REPLACEMENT. WHEN REPLACED AGAIN, THERE WAS NO CHANGE. THE BLINKER/SIDE LIGHT FAILED TO OPERATE. *TR
THE HEADLIGHTS DO NOT ILLUMINATE WHEN THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY IS TURNED ON. TURNING THE HEADLIGHTS OFF/ON SOMETIMES RESTORE HEADLIGHT ILLUMINATION. THIS HAS BEEN GETTING WORSE AND WORSE AS THE TIME GOES ON. WE CALLED THE LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALER IN NJ AND WERE TOLD THERE WERE NO RECALLS OR ISSUES WITH OUR VIN. *TR

NUMEROUS TIMES IN THE LAST FOUR WEEKS WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT THE HEADLIGHTS SHUT OFF . ALL BUT TWO TIMES THEY CAME BACK ON. THE LAST TWO THEY DID NOT COME ON UNTIL SHUTTING THE SWITCH OFF AND TURNING BACK ON. ALL WERE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS . CHRYSLER DEALERS HAVE NOT HEARD OF THIS HOWEVER IT IS ALL OVER THE INTERNET. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE THAT NEEDS ADDRESSED PRIOR TO SOMEONE GETTING KILLED . I AM UNABLE TO DRIVE THIS AT NIGHT FOR FEAR OF CAUSING AN ACCIDENT . *TR
HEADLIGHTS SHUT OFF BY THEMSELVES WHILE DRIVING. THIS HAPPENS VERY OFTEN WHILE DRIVING AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN. *TR
JUST RECENTLY HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE HEADLIGHTS,RECEIVED NOTICE THAT THE SWITCH WAS UNDER RECALL. THE OTHER NIGHT MY HUSBAND WAS FOLLOWING ME HOME AND NOTICED THAT THE BRAKELIGHTS WERE NOT WORKING, AFTER TESTING THINGS OUT WE THOUGHT WE FIGURED THE PROBLEM AND CHANGED THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH. TODAY WHEN I WENT FOR THE HEADLAMP SWITCH RECALL THE TECH CAME OUT AND SAID OH AND BY THE WAY YOU HAVE NO BREAK LIGHTS. NOT SURE WHAT ELSE TO CHECK AND FROM WHAT I HAVE READ IT SEEMS LIKE THERE HAVE BEEN COMPUTER ISSUES. *TR
HAVE A 2005 TOWN AND COUNTRY THAT I BOUGHT AS A USED VEHICLE AND I WAS TRAVELING AT NIGHT DOING FINE WHEN OUT OF THE BLUE THE HEADLIGHTS SWITCHED THEMSELVES OFF, I MANUALLY TURNED THEM OFF AND BACK ON AND THEY DID THE SAME THING AGAIN. WE PULLED OFF THE ROAD AND SHUT OFF THE CAR FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES CAME BACK AND WHEN I THE CAR WITH NO ISSUE, TURNED ON THE HEADLIGHTS NO GO, HAD TO DO THIS THREE TIME BEFORE THEY CAME BACK ON ANY IDEAS. *TR
I HAVE HAD SEVERAL INCIDENTS IN LAST 3 WEEKS WHERE ALL INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR LIGHTING FLICKER OR PULSATE. OVER THE PAST YEAR I HAVE ALSO EXPERIENCED TOTAL LOSS OF EXTERIOR LIGHTING BUT ONLY NOTICED IT WHEN PARKING OR AT LOWER SPEEDS WITHOUT CAUSING A HAZARDOUS SITUATION AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENTS. ON EACH OF THE INCIDENTS I WAS ABLE TO TOGGLE THE LIGHT SWITCH SEVERAL TIMES AND WAS ABLE TO RE-ACTIVATE THE LIGHTS. THIS WAS AN INTERMITTENT ISSUE SEPARATED BY WEEKS BETWEEN INCIDENTS AND IT HASN'T OCCURRED FOR A COUPLE MONTHS. THE FLICKERING IS A NEW ISSUE AND SOME ON-LINE RESEARCH TO THE FLICKERING LED ME TO THIS. *TR
OVERHEAD LIGHTS IN CONSOLE WENT OUT ONE AT A TIME (ONE HAD ALREADY BEEN REPLACED WITHIN 1ST YR.). I WENT IN TO BUY REPLACEMENT BULBS AT THE DEALERSHIP. THE DESIGN HAS CHANGED AND PART OF THE PLASTIC HAS TO BE TRIMMED TO MAKE IT FIT. THEY PUT THE BULBS IN AND IT STILL DIDN'T WORK. THEY SAID THE WIRING MUST HAVE MELTED SO YOU NEED TO ORDER THE ENTIRE OVERHEAD CONSOLE. AFTER HEARING THIS I WONDERED WHY THERE HAD NOT BEEN A RECALL - WIRING BURNED? AND, IT SOUNDED AS THOUGH THEY WERE FAMILIAR WITH THIS PROBLEM, I WAS NOT THE FIRST. MY HUSBAND LOOKED AT IT TODAY AND HE GOT THE LIGHT TO WORK BUT NOT WITH THE SWITCH. IT IS GETTING POWER BUT IT WON'T OPERATE THE BULB. THEY HAD SAID PART OF THE PLASTIC ON THE BULBS MELT. ONCE AGAIN, MELTING BULB BASE NOT A RECALL ISSUE? CHRYSLER TOLD ME THE DEALERSHIP NEEDS TO TROUBLESHOOT TO FIND THE PROBLEM - WITH ME PAYING $92.50/HR.! THERE ARE SEVERAL INSTANCES OF THIS HAPPENING WHICH I FOUND ON THE INTERNET - LOTS OF BULBS HAVING TO BE REPLACED AND SINCE THEY "REDESIGNED" THE BULBS THE DO NOT WORK. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THEY ADVISED HIM THAT THE FAILURE WAS OF THE VOLTAGE REGULATOR. THE DEALER REPAIRED THE VEHICLE BY REPROGRAMMING THE COMPUTER SYSTEM. THE CONTACT STATED THAT IMMEDIATELY AFTER LEAVING THE DEALER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 99,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 111,000. *TR
THE HEADLIGHTS WILL FAIL WITHOUT WARNING. I WAS DRIVING AT NIGHT AND NOTICED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS DID NOT TURN ON WHEN THE SWITCH WAS ACTIVATED. TOGGLING THE SWITCH BACK AND FORTH A FEW TIMES, TURNED THEM ON. SINCE THE FIRST INCIDENT, THIS HAS OCCURRED AT LEAST 2 TIMES PER WEEK. THE LIGHTS WILL USUALLY TURN ON WHEN SWITCHING THE LIGHTS ON AND OFF, BUT THE PAST TWO DAYS THEY HAVE NOT TURNED ON AT ALL. THE PARKING LIGHTS AND HIGHBEAMS STILL WORK, BUT NOT THE MAIN DRIVING LIGHTS. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY PROBLEM. THE DEALERSHIP DOES NOT APPEAR TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON. *TR
MY HEADLIGHTS STARTED GIVING ME PROBLEMS IN THE WINTER. FIRST, I NOTICED THAT THEY FLICKERED WHEN I HIT A BUMP, AND THEN WENT COMPLETELY OFF. IF I PUT ON THE BRIGHTS THEY WOULD WORK. IT NEVER HAPPENED AGAIN UNTIL RECENTLY. THEY WENT COMPLETELY OFF FOR THE ENTIRE 2 HOUR DRIVE. I HAD TO HOLD THE BRIGHTS ON TO SEE. NOW THEY DON'T EVEN COME ON AT ALL EXCEPT FOR THE BRIGHTS. WENT TO TURN HEADLIGHTS ON AND THEY WOULD NOT TURN ON. HAD THIS HAPPEN ONCE BEFORE, BUT I JUST TURNED THE SWITCH ON AND OFF REPEATEDLY AND THEY FINALLY WORKED. I TRIED A FEW DIFFERENT THINGS THIS TIME AND NOTHING WORKED. THEY LIGHTS STILL DON'T TURN ON. THIS SEEMS TO BE A DANGEROUS PROBLEM!
