I had over 40 Complaints with NHTSA. FUEL LEAK - vehicle can go on fire,fumes intoxicating in vehicle through vents..Every mechanic," VEHICLE CAN GO ON FIRE." 2.Electrical- All gages would go crazy while driving - had no idea what speed I was going. 3.3X All Brake fluid leaked out while driving - no brakes 4.FAILED INSPECTION REPEATEDLY - ENGINE LIGHT ALWAYS ON AND AIRBAG LIGHT 5. LARGE EVAP Leak, Small EVAP leak 6. Vehicle slipped out of Gear 7. Brakes - hydraulic, bushels, bearings Every imaginable problem. Purchased vehicle with 20,00 miles ONLY GOT TO PUT 50,000.Repairs cost more then price of vehicle.I am disabled, was to be mommy van. Can't tell you how many," Recall Request,," numbers were given. NO ONE DID A THING TO HELP. FCA voided Warranty without telling me. Told me to sell vehicle to someone else despite reporting with proof can go on fire. Fuel Rail unrepairable due to Recall.Meaning I was sold vehicle with Recalled part. Followed Warranty booklet, protocols. SO MUCH RUST MORE THEN UNDERCARRIAGE THROUGH VEHICLE. MECHANIC wrote," TOO DANGEROUS TOO REPAIR." DANGEROUS VEHICLE All I used it for was to get to medical appointments. You would think Happy to take my Disability money but do not care if I burn death in vehicle or child. Now just Stranded. Will never trust anything with Chrysler name on it. Basically, purchased a moving Trauma. I was driving to Florida, NY and suddenly had no BRAKES. This is 3rd time. The vehicle only has 74,000 miles on it. I HAVE PUT A MULTITUDE OF COMPLAINTS REGARDING THIS VEHICLE. I HAVE SUBMITTED AT LEAST 20 RECEIPTS FOR NOW 3X NO BRAKES. FUEL RAIL LEAK. UNFIXABLE. NO PARTS IN U.S. AND CANADA DUE TO PART RECALL THE YEAR I BAUGHT VEHICLE. MANUFACTURER, ILLEGALLY CANCELLED WARRANTY WITHOUT TELLING ME. HAVE LETTER FROM THEM. REPORTED TO ORIGINAL WARRANTY BOOKLET INSTRUCTIONS. THEY DID NOTHING. DISABLED WOMAN SOLD A LEMON. FAILED INSPECTION FOR YEARS DUE TOO GAS LEAK. TOLD CAN GO ON FIRE. REPAIRED ALL OUT OF MY POCKET. NO BRAKES AGAIN WHILE DRIVING??? Car will be Towed tomorrow. Will have info to upload. SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN SOLD. GAS GAGE LEAK WAS RECALLED, WHICH IS WHY PREVIOUS OWNER SOLD IT. NEVER EXPORTED CAR. SENT PROOF. THEY ARE LYING ABOUT EVERYTHING. HAVE PROOF. CAR IS A 2002 HAD 24,000, MILES. NOW 2019, ONLY HAVE 72,000. MILES. SPENT AS MUCH REPLACING PARTS WHICH DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE RUST IS EATING THROUGH CAR. BODY WILL GO BEFORE NEW PARTS. CAR WAS PARKED. PULLING OUT OF PARKING LOT AFTER NOT USING FOR MANY DAYS, BRAKES FELT NOT RIGHT. HAD TO PRESS ALL THE WAY TO FLOOR. WENT FEW FEET TO MECHANIC. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH YOUR SERVICES. TAKATA RECALL I OWN A 2002 CHRYSLER VOYAGER MINIVAN. AT ABOUT 85,000 MILES I NOTICED THE AIRBAG LIGHT ON THE DASHBOARD WAS COMING ON SPORADICALLY. EVENTUALLY IT STARTED REMAINING ON ALL THE TIME FROM THE MOMENT I STARTED THE IGNITION. I TOOK IT TO A LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALER TO HAVE IT INSPECTED. THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE CLOCK SPRING AND THAT IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND WOULD COST ME ABOUT $350. EARLIER REPRODUCTIONS OF THIS MODEL HAVE BEEN RECALLED FOR PROBLEMS WITH CLOCK SPRINGS BUT MINE IS NOT BECAUSE IT WAS MANUFACTURED TWO YEARS TOO LATE.

FROM COLD TIRES THE VEHICLE TRAVELED APPROXIMATELY 10 MILES AT VARYING SPEEDS (30 - 60 MPH). AT THAT POINT THE RIGHT REAR TIRE BLEW OUT WITH TWO (2) VERTICAL SEPARATIONS IN THE SIDE WALL FROM THE BEAD TO THE TREAD ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE TIRE, AND THE TREAD SEPARATED FROM THE SIDE WALL FOR APPROXIMATELY SIX (6) INCHES ON THE INSIDE OF THE TIRE. ALL THREE (3) SEPARATIONS WERE COMPLETELY THROUGH THE TIRE.

THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT DENIED ANY ASSISTANCE WITH REPAIRS TO THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 166,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 189,000.

I JUST BOUGHT A 2002 PT CRUISER FROM JUST ADD GAS IN ALBANY LOUISIANA I LOVE THE CAR , BUT AFTER I GOT IT HOME AND DROVE IT FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS I FOUND OUT THAT THE BRAIN IS HAVING PROBLEMS , I TOOK IT TO AUTO ZONE AND HAD THEM PUT THE TESTER ON IT AND THEY DETERMINED THAT IT IS THE BRAIN ,OR AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM GOING TO THE BRAIN , I AM TRYING TO LOCATE ONE AT THIS TIME . *TR

THE SWAY BAR BUSHING WAS WORE OUT. 2ND PROBLEM WAS DRIVING DOWN HIGHWAY, VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE, STOPPED MOVING COMPLETELY. TOOK TO DEALER AGAIN. WARRANTY RAN OUT ON TRANSMISSION AT 70,000, THERE WERE ONLY 73,000 MILES, WOULD FIX FOR 3,200. TOOK TO MECHANIC, IN STOCKTON, MO. FIXED FOR 1,000. THE PLANETARIUM WELD HAD BUSTED, HE INFORMED ME THAT IT IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM. 3RD PROBLEM TOOK NEPHEW HOME WHEN I WENT TO UNBUCKLE HIS SEAT BEAT, THE LATCH AND ALL COME UP OUT OF SEAT,, VERY SCARY, COULD HAVE BEEN IS ACCIDENT..HAD NOT YET TOOK TO DEALER. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER THREE OR FOUR TIMES REGARDING THIS FAILURE. AFTER REGULARLY SERVICING HER VEHICLE, SHE HAS HAD TO REPLACE THE FRONT AND REAR BRAKES AT 20,000 AND 40,000 MILES. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE BRAKES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AGAIN AT 70,000 MILES. TWO WEEKS AFTER HER VEHICLE HAD BEEN INSPECTED AND WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION SNAPPED IN HALF. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE PUSHED OFF THE ROAD AND THEN TOWED TO A MECHANIC. I HAVE 2 ISSUES WITH MY 2002 CHRYSLER VOYAGER. THE FIRST IS THE AIR BAG LIGHT FLASHES ON AND OFF. I TOOK IT IN FOR SERVICE AND INFORMED THEM THAT I WAS AWARE OF THE RECALLS ON THE EARLY MODELS. THEY SAID THAT IT WAS NOT UNDER RECALL AND THAT WAS NOT THE PROBLEM. THEY SAID IT WAS FIXED AND ON MY WAY HOME FROM THE DEALER IT STARTED AGAIN. I TOOK IT BACK THE NEXT DAY AND THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS WHAT I SUSPECTED BUT IT WOULD COST ME MORE MONEY.(NOW MIND YOU I HAD TOLD THEM WHAT I THOUGHT THE PROBLEM WAS). THEREFORE IT IS NOT FIXED AND I WAS TOLD THAT AS LONG AS THE AIRBAG LIGHT WAS OFF IT WOULD DEPLOY IF IT IS ON IT WILL NOT. THE SECOND ISSUE IS THE RUST! This vehicle was purchased with 20,000 miles for $9,000, along with an extended warranty from Mopar for 10 years or 100,000 miles. This vehicle failed INSPECTION numerous years due too engine light being on. Large EVAP Leak and Small EVAP leak. 2. Fuel pump leaking gas. Told not to drive can go on fire.NO PARTS due too Recall before I purchased the vehicle. None in the U.S. AND CANADA. 3.3x while driving had no BRAKES. 4. AIR BAG LIGHT ALWAYS ON. Told it wont deploy fixed it back on. 5. Dials on dashboard go crazy, low to hi over and over. No idea what speed or gears as the gears get a square around them and move back and fourth. 6.lights- barely visible, go on and off 7. Child car seat belt does not work properly. Had to create a makeshift one. Parts replaced to date: Catalytic Converter Part infront of Catalytic converter Hydraulic master brake cylinder. bearings2x Now car in drive way with NO BRAKES COMPUTER ELECTRICAL GAS CAP SERPENTINE BELT MELTED STARTER WINDSHIELD WIPERS 5X KEEPS DETACHING Cant use DEFOG, HEAT OR A/C- gas fumes come in through vents , intoxicating and makes you lightheaded So much more..... All in all I haven't put 50,000 miles on this vehicle. MANUFACTURER claims the Warranty for Fuel Pump expired before I owned the vehicle. MANUFACTURER CANCELLED my Warranty without telling me. Yet knew how to contact me in 2016 for Speaker Fire Recall. 2 tires blew out. Replaced all 4. 2 X muffler Enormous RUST NO ACCIDENTS, MIRACULOUSLY. Have been putting in endless Complaints with NHTSA. NO ONE DOES ANYTHING. I HAVE SPENT MORE THAN THE PRICE OF THE VEHICLE AND UNDRIVABLE. PIT in Complaints where Original Warranty Booklet states, Eastern Michigan, BBB, CANDICE Rugenstein. States they are small non- profit. I am disabled since 1993. My Home Health Aide at that time submitted all receipts and proof for used car LEMON law. They than claimed they did not get it. After sheer hell they found it and denied it. THIS VEHICLE IS DEFECTIVE.

THE REAR BRAKES (BOTH) OF MY 2002 VOYAGER FAILED - WAS MAKING LOUD MECHANICAL NOISE, WHEN THE PARKING BRAKE IS RELEASED IT DID NOT RELEASE THE BRAKE (THE CAR WILL NOT MOVE FOR FEW MINUTES), MAKE LOUD NOISE WHILE BRAKING. THE DEALER TOLD ME ICE AND WATER GOT INSIDE THE BRAKE DRUMS AND FROZEN THE PADS, EVENTUALLY THE WHOLE BRAKE SYSTEM FAILED. THERE IS SERVICE BULLETIN #05-003-05 WHICH EXACTLY DESCRIBED THE PROBLEM AND HOW TO FIX IT. THE PLATE-REAR DRUM BRAKE (2), SHOE KIT, CYLINDER, FLUID, AND DRUMS WERE REPLACED AT A COST OF $627.16 INCLUDING LABOR AND TAXES. I BELIEVE THIS PROBLEM SHOULD BE CONSIDERED SERIOUS AND BE A 'RECALL' SO THAT THE PROBLEM IS FIXED FREE OF CHARGE TO THE CUSTOMER. I CALLED CHRYSLER AT 800 992 1997 TO CLAIM REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE REPAIR WORK. THE CHRYSLER AGENT TOLD ME THAT THE VEHICLE IS OUT OF WARRANTY FOR A LONG TIME THERE WILL NOT BE ANY ASSISTANCE. *JB

THE CONSUMER REQUEST REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE REAR BRAKE SYSTEM BECAUSE THE CONSUMER FEELS THAT THE MANUFACTURER KNEW OF THE PROBLEM BUT FAILED TO NOTIFY HIM. I PURCHASED MY 2002 PT CRUISER WHEN IT WAS ABOUT A YEAR OLD. THERE WAS SLIGHT DISCOLORATION ON THE BUMPER THAT LOOKED LIKE TAPE WAS THERE. IT WASN'T VERY NOTICEABLE AT THE TIME. NOW, A FEW YEARS LATER IT LOOKS RIDICULOUS. THERE IS A LINE THAT LOOKS LIKE TAPE ABOUT 1.5 INCHES WIDE ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE BUMPER, IT IS VERY NOTICEABLE. IT IS ON THE REAR AND FRONT BUMPER. THE BLACK PART AROUND THE WINDOWS IS ALSO DISCOLORED. *JB
THE "CLOCK SPRING" (PART OF THE AIR BAG SYSTEM), HAS FAILED TWICE IN 46,000 MILES. THE VEHICLE HAS NEVER BEEN IN ANY TYPE OF ACCIDENT, OR SUSTAINED ANY TYPE OF DAMAGE (IE, WATER RELATED DAMAGE). THE FIRST FAILURE WAS REPAIRED UNDER WARRANTY, THE SECOND REPAIR THE DEALER CHARGED FOR. AS THIS IS A SAFETY FUNCTION, AND THE OCCUPANTS ARE EXPOSED TO RISK DURING FAILURE, I BELIEVE TWO FAILURES IN 46,000 MILES IS UNACCEPTABLE AND IS A DESIGN OR MANUFACTURING DEFECT. I REQUEST THAT THE NHTSA INITIATE AN INVESTIGATION, AND IF THIS DEFECT IS PREVALENT, ISSUE A RECALL NOTICE. *JB
VAN MADE RATTLING NOISE WHEN IN GEAR. VAN LATER MADE WHINING NOISE. DEALER REPLACED TORQUE CONVERTER AND FLEX PLATE. AFTER LOSING USE OF VAN FOR 4 DAYS, THE NEXT DAY, THE WHINING NOISE RECURRED. THE SECOND DAY AFTER I HAD IT BACK, IN ADDITION TO WHINING NOISE, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FAILED. IT ONLY MOVED THROUGH FIRST, SECOND, MAYBE THIRD GEAR.
