I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY GOING 60 MPH ALL OF A SUDDEN MY ETC LIGHT STARTED TO FLASH AND MY CAR STARTED TO SLOW DOWN, MY CAR WOULD NOT GO OVER 10 MPH. IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO GET IN A SAFETY LANE. I ALMOST GOT REAR ENDED A FEW TIMES, I WAS VERY SCARED. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND THAT THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE THE PRODUCTION OF THIS VEHICLE. THERE ARE TONS OF COMPLAINTS ONLINE ABOUT THIS VEHICLE, SOME OF THE VEHICLES HAVE LOW MILEAGE AND SOME DON'T. IT IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION TO BE IN. I THINK CHRYSLER NEEDS TO OWN UP AND RECALL THIS THROTTLE BODY!
HEATER NOT WORKING. (65,000 MILES) TOOK THE CAR TO FIRESTONE, WHERE THEY DID A FLUSH WHICH DID NOT WORK AND TOLD ME TO TAKE TO THE DEALER AND REPLACE THE HEATER CORE. WHERE THEY GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE OF $2500 TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE COOLANT SYSTEM (HEATER CORE, RADIATOR, OIL COOLER, THERMOSTAT, WATER PUMP). THE TECH ADVISED THERE WAS SOMETHING RESTRICTING FLOW THROUGH THE HEATER CORE. THERE IS A 100,000 MILE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY ON THE CAR BUT THEY DO NOT AGREE THAT THE COOLANT SYSTEM THAT COOLS THE ENGINE (POWER TRAIN) SHOULD BE INCLUDED. WHERE DID THE SEDIMENT/SLUDGE COME FROM? POSSIBLY OIL CONTAMINATION FROM THE ENGINE (POWER TRAIN)? THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN NOTED IN NUMEROUS MODELS AND DODGE HAS RELEASED A STATEMENT TO THEIR TECHS TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE COOLANT SYSTEM BECAUSE THEY KNOW SOMETHING THEY DID IS WRONG. THIS IS VERY SIMILAR TO THE PROBLEM GM HAD WITH DEX-COOL WHY IS THERE NOT A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM THE CONSUMER SHOULD NOT BE BURDENED WITH THE FAILURES OF THE MANUFACTURER TO PROVIDE A QUALITY PRODUCT. I HOPE THIS MATTER IS TAKEN SERIOUSLY AS IT TRULY IS A SAFETY ISSUE. IF THE HEAT DOES NOT WORK IT IS NOT JUST UNCOMFORTABLE FOR THE DRIVER/PASSENGERS BUT IT WILL ALSO REDUCE VISIBILITY THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD SINCE THE DEFROST/HEAT DOES NOT WORK.
I JUST PURCHASED THIS CAR 1-2-16 AND ALREADY HAVING ELECTRICAL ISSUES WITH KEYLESS REMOTE, DOME LIGHTING, RADIO AND BLUE TOOTH NOT WORKING..
I HAVE A 2012 DODGE AVENGER THAT HAS HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE HEATER FOR A WHILE NOW. IT BLOWS COLD AIR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE AND WARM AIR ON THE DRIVERS, COLD IN THE MIDDLE. WE HAVE REPLACED THE BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR ABS THIS ONLY GOT RID OF THE CLICKING NOISE, IT DID NOT FIX THE HEAT ISSUE. I HAVE READ SEVERAL OF THE SAME COMPLAINTS AND WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHY THE ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN DEALT WITH YET AND WHY IT'S NOT RECALLED.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT FLUID WAS LEAKING FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,000.
I HAVE A 2012 DODGE AVENGER SXT PLUS. I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH A HEATING ISSUE FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS NOW. I FINALLY FLUSHED THE HEATER CORE AND AM FINDING SAND THROUGHOUT THE SYSTEM. THIS IS GOING TO CAUSE ME TO HAVE TO REPLACE ALL THE COMPONENTS. AS FAR AS I CAN TELL THIS IS A CASTING ISSUE AND SHOULD BE A RECALL. I HAVE SAMPLES OF THE SAND AS WELL IF NEEDED. IF I HAD DRIVEN THIS MUCH LONGER THE ENGINE MAY HAVE LOCKED UP.
NO HEAT ON PASSENGER SIDE. BLOWS ONLY COLD AIR. DID RESEARCH AND SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE WITH THE SAME MAKE,MODEL AND YEAR ON THIS CAR. I'VE BEEN TOLD BY MECHANIC THAT OTHERS HAD BOTH CARS OF SAME TO THEM WITH SAME ISSUES. ALSO MECHANIC SAID IT WILL COST THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO FIX PROBLEM. THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL BY MANUFACTURER. I PURCHASED MY CAR NEW ZERO MILES FROM DEALER IN 2012. THE HEAT WORKED FINE UNTIL LAST WINTER.
WHEN STARTING UP THE DEFROSTER OR THE HEATER ON THE CAR, THERE IS COLD AIR BLOWING ON THE PASSENGER'S SIDE AND WARM AIR BLOWING ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE. I AM NOT SURE IF THIS IS THE ACTUATOR OR ANOTHER ISSUE. I CALLED CHRYSLER A FEW YEARS AGO TO REPORT THIS AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO RECALL.

TOOK CAR IN FOR A COOLANT FLUSH AND ONLY HAVE HEAT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. PASSENGER SIDE BLOWS COOL AIR. CAR IS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD WITH 72,000 MILES ON IT. HAD HEAT BEFORE THE DEALERSHIP RECOMMENDED THE COOLANT FLUSH. TOOK CAR INTO DEALERSHIP TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT AND THEY TELL ME THE HEATER CORE IS PARTIALLY PLUGGED. HEAT WORKED FINE BEFORE FLUSH, NOW IT DOES NOT. *JS
I WAS IN ACCIDENT THE BRAKES FAILED DURING HARD BRAKING. I HIT THE BRAKE PEDAL SO HARD I BENT THE PEDAL ASSEMBLY. THE SEATBELT RESTRAINTS DIDN'T LOCKUP AND THREW ME FORWARD SO I HIT MY HEAD ON THE ROOF LINE THE POINT OF IMPACT WAS THE SUN VISOR. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AND I HIT THE STEERING WHEEL WITH MY CHEST. I HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME WHEN THE BRAKES FAILED THE CAR KEEP ROLLING TO THE POINT OF IMPACT WITH THE CADILLAC ESCALADE MY CAR WENT UNDER HIS BUMPER SO THE CAR HAD TO DIVE DOWN JUST TO ROLL UNDER HIS CAR. THE DRIVER IN THE VEHICLE WAS NOT HURT. I WOULD UP WITH A SMALL CONCUSSION AND MY RIGHT FOOT IS STILL IN PAIN.
I WAS DRIVING WHEN MY CAR LOST POWER MULTIPLE TIMES WITH THE KEY IN THE INGITION. THE THIRD TIME ALL OF THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH WENT OFF AND I HAD TO COAST INTO A PARKING SPOT. I HAD TO JUMP THE VEHICLE TO GET IT STARTED

WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, THE CONTACT SMELLED BURNING WIRES FROM SOMEWHERE WITHIN THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE AVENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEATER IN THE VEHICLE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE BLEW COLD AIR ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS AND THE DRIVER SIDE HEATER WORKED NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE ISSUE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE DOING ABOUT 65MPH AT 5AM, I DISENGAGED THE CRUISE CONTROL ON MY VEHICLE, MY CAR ALL THE SUDDEN TURNED OFF AND LOST COMPLETE POWER, INCLUDING STEERING, BRAKES, AND ACCELERATION. THE KEY WAS STILL IN THE ON POSITION. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD! HAD I NOT BEEN ABLE TO COAST AND ENGAGE THE EMERGENCY BREAK, I WOULD HAVE CRASHED AND MOST LIKELY SUFFERED SERIOUS BODILY INJURIES OR DEATH. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME AND I HAVE READ THIS HAS HAPPENED TO OTHERS ALREADY AS WELL. THE ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FAILED BECAUSE MY ENGINE TURNED OFF AS WELL AS THE DASHBOARD COMPLETELY WENT DARK TO INCLUDE HEADLIGHTS, TURN SIGNALS, AND THE HAZARD LIGHTS. MY VEHICLE HAS STOPPED IN MOTION ALL THE SUDDEN FOR NO APPARENT REASON TWO TIMES IN ONE WEEK. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE DEALERSHIP TO GET THE VEHICLE DIAGNOSED BUT I AM STILL AFRAID TO DRIVE TO THE DEALERSHIP BECAUSE IT MAY HAPPEN AGAIN WHILE DRIVING EITHER ON THE HIGHWAY, INTERSTATE, OR ON ANY STREET. I AM NOT 100% CERTAIN WHAT CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO TURN OFF WHILE IN MOTION 3 TIMES ALREADY IN ONE WEEK BUT IT HAS CREATED A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD FOR MYSELF AND OTHER MOTORIST ON THE HIGHWAY/INTERSTATE. I BELIEVE IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM OR ENGINE BECAUSE THE LOST OF COMPLETE POWER IS WHAT OCCURS EACH TIME.
AT THE END OF LAST WINTER I NOTICED MY HEAT WASN'T WORKING RIGHT, AND AFTER A FEW COLD DAYS RECENTLY I HAVE NO HEAT COMING FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE. PRETTY WARM ON THE DRIVER SIDE. I SEE THAT THIS IS PRETTY COMMON IN DODGE AVENGERS AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE PROBLEM FIXED SO MY FAMILY CAN BE WARM WHILE WE TRAVEL.
THIS ISSUE IS A DEFECTIVE HEATER CORE. CASTING AND METAL SHAVINGS CLOG HEATER CORE TO WHERE YOUR CAR CANNOT HEAT THE PASSENGER SIDE OF YOUR CAR. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS DUE TO THE CAR NOT HAVING THE ABILITY TO DEFROST FRONT AND BACK WIND SHIELDS DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER. THE PROBLEM ARISES WITH HOW TO THE HEATER SITS BEHIND THE DASH. IT CAUSES THIS ISSUE TO REPEAT EVEN IF HEATER CORE IS REPLACED. THIS PROBLEM IS VERY DANGEROUS AND IS A $1,000 PLUS REPAIR THAT WILL REPEATEDLY OCCUR NEARLY EVERY YEAR OR SO.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ON, THE CRUISE SHUT OFF, THE BRAKE LIGHT, ABS LIGHT AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON AND THE CAR EXPERIENCED A SUDDEN LOSE OF POWER AND WAS BRAKING ITSELF. THE SUDDEN LOSE OF SPEED AND BRAKING OUT OF THE DRIVER'S CONTROL ON THE INTERSTATE DURING RUSH HOUR CREATED A SAFETY HAZARD.

HEATER IS BLOWING HOT ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE AND COLD ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE WHILE STATIONARY AND DRIVING.
I WAS DRIVING IN THE FAST LANE ON THE FREEWAY AT ABOUT 64 MPH. ANOTHER CAR, WHO WAS DRIVING FASTER THAN I WAS, WAS IN THE CARPOOL LANE TO MY LEFT. HE SLAMMED INTO MY CAR ON THE DRIVER SIDE PASSENGER DOOR AND TIRE. I THEN SLID DOWN THE FREEWAY ALMOST SIDEWAYS WHILE I WATCHED HIS CAR ROLL OVER 3 TIMES BEFORE SLIDING TO A STOP. NONE OF MY AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. I HIT MY HEAD AND LEFT SHOULDER, TWICE, AGAINST THE WINDOW AND THE HARD PLASTIC PART BY WHERE THE SEATBELT COMES OUT. I WAS LUCKY AND WALKED AWAY WITH A CONCUSSION, SEVERE NECK PAIN, AND BACK PAIN. THE OTHER DRIVER WAS ARRESTED FOR A DUI. I AM VERY CONCERNED THAT THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. GOOD LORD! HOW HARD DO YOU HAVE TO BE HIT?
ORC MODULE IS DEFECTIVE AFTER DEALER DIAGNOSTIC CHECK. AIRBAG LIGHT ON CONTINUOUSLY. I FEEL THAT THIS MODULE IS DEFECTIVE AS IT IS IN 2011 MODELS, ETC. THIS CAR HAS A BUILD DATE OF 10-2011 SO IT PROBABLY HAS THE DEFECTIVE ORC MODULE JUST LIKE IN THE 2011 RECALL NOTICE. THERE ARE MANY COMPLAINTS FILED NOW AND DODGE SHOULD BE TAKING CARE OF THIS FOR THESE 2012 AVENGER MODELS. DODGE STATES THAT MY COMPLAINT WILL BE REVIEWED INTERNALLY BUT FAILED TO PROVIDE ME WITH FOLLOW UP CONTACT INFO. I COULD TELL THAT THEY JUST WANTED TO END THE CONVERSATION AND NOT PURSUE IT. SO WHEN DO THESE COMPLAINTS GET REVIEWED? WHEN PEOPLE GET SERIOUSLY INJURED OR DEATH? NOW I DRIVE THIS AROUND WITH NO AIR BAG FUNCTION, WONDER WHY THEY EVEN UPGRADED SOFTWARE FOR THE TIPIM HEAD RESTRAINTS RECALL.....STILL DON'T HAVE AIR BAG FUNCTION.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ALTERNATOR FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 69,276.
AIR BAG LIGHT JUST CAME ON FOR NO REASON.SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THAT

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD AN INACTIVE HEAD RESTRAINT AND THE HEAD RESTRAINT UNIT NEEDED TO BE REWIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V282000 (AIR BAGS, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM), BUT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 77,000.
BOUGHT A BRAND NEW 2012 AVENGER SE WITH A 3.6L. THE CAR HAS SHAKEN VIOLENTLY AT SPEEDS ABOVE 45 MPH. IT HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER UNDER WARRANTY 6 TIMES FOR THE ISSUE, AND NO FAULTS WE'RE FOUND. THE CAR IS PAST IT'S WARRANTY, AND THE DEALER NOW WANTS AN ARM AND A LEG TO DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE. THE VIBRATION IS ONLY GETTING WORSE AND WORSE. THE FRONT SUSPENSION HAS BEEN CHECKED NUMEROUS TIMES, AND EVERYTHING SEEMS FINE, THE REAR STRUTS WE'RE JUST REPLACED, WHICH HELPED THE VIBRATION UNDER 60 MPH, HOWEVER IT STILL VIBRATES. CAR WENT TO THE DEALER WITH 8000 MILES ON IT DUE TO PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW ISSUES, WHERE THE DEALER ONCE AGAIN FOUND NOTHING WRONG. LEFT THE DEALERSHIP, AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON FOR AN O2 SENSOR. THE WIRES HAD BEEN PINCHED SO BAD, THAT IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AS WELL. WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH 6 SETS OF TIRES IN 4 YEARS. CAR CURRENTLY HAS 90,000 MILES ON IT, AND VIBRATION GETS WORSE EVERY DAY.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CRANK SENSOR MALFUNCTIONED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ANOTHER INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THERE WAS A CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THIS ISSUE FOR THE PCM REPROGRAMMING; HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 69,801.
RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA 13V-282 FOR THE ACTIVE HEAD RESTRAINTS. THAT IS NOT THE CONCERN WITH THE VEHICLE. THE AIRBAG LIGHT HAS REMAINED ON AND WAS ADVISED THAT THE WIRING NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN AND IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY WITH THE MANUFACTURER. JUST OUTSIDE OF THE WARRANTY AND NOTHING WAS DONE TO CAUSE THIS TO HAPPEN.

DRIVING DOWN OWEN K GARRIOTT TO TAKE MY DOG TO THE VET AND BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON AND MY CAR STARTED SLOWING DOWN AND I SAW JACKSON'S ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD SO I PULLED IN THEIR AND THEY HOOKED MY CAR UP TO SOME KIND OF TEST THAT TOOK AN HOUR AND GAVE ME A RIDE TO THE VET.WHEN I GOT BACK TO JACKSON'S I WAS INFORMED THA 5TIT WAS MY BATTERY AND THEY HAD CHANGED IT.WELL WENT TO LEAVE AND A WHILE AFTER I WAS DRIVING BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON AND I WAS GOING TO HANG OUT A FRIENDS AND WHEN I WENT TO LEAVE MY FRIENDS MY CAR WAS DEAD.SO I LEFT IT PARKED OVERNIGHT THERE AND THE NEXT DAY CAME AND JUMP STARTED IT AND WAS ABLE TO GET IT TO MY HOUSE.THIS WAS THE 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND AND NOTHING WAS OPEN.SO MONDAY I CALLED BAKER'S ALTERNATOR AND THEY SAID TO GET IT IN.MY CAR WOULD NOT HOLD A CHARGE AND I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED.THEY SAID IT WAS UNUSUAL THAT A CAR WITH THIS LOW OF MILEAGE TO HAVE ALTERNATOR PROBLEMS BUT THEY DID THEIR CHECKS AND FOUND IT TO BE THAT BOTH MY PULLEYS ON THE ALTERNATOR TO BE WORN OUT.IT COST ME $196.00.

UPON USING AIR CONDITIONER OR HEATER. THERE IS A SLIGHT KNOCKING NOISE COMING FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE DASH. KNOCKING NOISE EVEN CONTINUES AFTER CAR HAS BEEN OFF FOR HOURS. ANY TIME CAR LIGHTS COME ON KNOCKING NOISE OCCURS.
TOOK MY CAR TO DEALER FOR RECALL NOTICE A FEW DAYS BEFORE MY AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON WHEN I WAS AT DEALER THEY SAID THAT THE ORC MODULE NEEDED REPLACED I NOTICED IN MY RECALL NOTICE THAT IT WAS TO BE REPLACED IN 2011 MODEL BUT NOT 2012 PLEASE SEE BELOW : FOR 2012 AND 2013 MODEL JS VEHICLES: THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM) MUST BE REPROGRAMMED. FOR 2011 MODEL JS VEHICLES: THE OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROL (ORC) MODULE MUST BE REPLACED. FOR 2011 AND 2012 MODEL KA VEHICLES: THE OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROL (ORC) MODULE MUST BE REPLACED. FOR 2011 MODEL KK VEHICLES: THE OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROL (ORC) MODULE MUST BE REPLACED. FOR 2012 MODEL KK VEHICLES: THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM) MUST BE REPROGRAMMED. MY VEHICLE DID HAVE THE RECALL N38 FOR THE TIPM REPROGRAM DONE. SINCE THEN I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THE AIR BAG LIGHT. THE AIR BAG LIGHT STAYS ON. I TOOK IT TO A DODGE DEALER ON 5/26/15 WHO REPLACED THE ORC MODULE AT A COST OF $385. TWO WEEKS LATER THE AIR BAG LIGHT CAME ON INTERMITTENTLY. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AGAIN TO BE TOLD THIS TIME IT WAS THE CONNECTOR IN THE HEADREST. THEY REPAIRED IT FOR $128 AND TOLD ME IF THE PROBLEM PERSISTS I WOULD NEED TO REPLACE THE HEADREST. WHY WASN'T THE ORC MODULE RECALLED FOR THE 2012'S?

THE VEHICLE IS IN GOOD RUNNING CONDITION. THE ONLY PROBLEM THAT I HAVE IS THAT IT KEEPS MAKING THIS "KNOCKING" SOUND COMING FROM BEHIND THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT. ITS STARTS AS SOON AS YOU TURN ON THE A/C AND IT KEEPS MAKING THAT SOUND PERIODICALLY. EVEN WHEN THE VEHICLE IS OFF AND THE KEY IS NOT IN THE IGNITION.

I TOOK MY CAR TO THE DODGE DEALERSHIP TO BE DIAGNOSE BECAUSE OF WINDSHIELD WIPER NOT WORKING PROPERLY. I'VE NOTICED IN MANY RESEARCH ONLINE THERE HAS BEEN MANY RECALLS AND PROBLEM REGARDING TIPM FROM DODGE, JEEP, CHRYSLER. ALSO I'VE HAD SHORTAGE IN MY POWER WINDOW NOT WANTING TO WORK BUT WILL EVENTUALLY START AGAIN AND AIR BAG LIGHT IS ON ALL THOSE COULD BE RELATED TO THE BAD TIPM. THE FIRST TIME I'D NOTICED THE WINDSHIELD WIPER NOT WORKING I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK ON A RAINING NIGHT ON THE PARK WAY DOING 65MPH WITH A SEMI TRUCK IN FRONT OF ME THEN OUT OF NO WHERE THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS GOT STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WINDSHIELD I COULD NOT SEE BECAUSE IT WAS RAINING KIND OF HARD SO I HAD TO DRIVE 20MPH WITH MY EMERGENCY FLASHES ON BECAUSE I WAS LESS THEN A HALF OF MILE FROM MY EXIT THEN I PULLED OVER AT THE FIRST STORE OFF THE EXIT. THE OTHER SCENARIO WITH THE WINDOWS NOT ROLLING DOWN I WAS ON MY WAY TO THE DOCTOR MY DRIVER SIDE WINDOW WAS DOWN WHEN I PULLED UP TO THE PARKING LOT IT WOULDN'T ROLL BACK UP AFTER I LEFT THE DOCTOR I GOT HOME 5 HOURS LATER I DECIDED TO GIVE IT ANOTHER TRY IT WAS WORKING FIND. MY AIR BAG LIGHT HAS BEEN ON FOR ABOUT 4MONTHS NOW AND I'VE NOTICE THERE'S BEEN RECALLS ON MY VEHICLE ABOUT THE AIR BAG.

WHILE DRIVING HOME WITH MY PREGNANT WIFE AT NIGHT, CAR ALL OF A SUDDEN STALLED. AFTER COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP, CAR WAS PUT IN PARK AND RESTARTED. GO OUT AND INSPECTED CAR EVEN LOOKING UNDER HOOD. CAR STALLED ONCE AGAIN ONE BLOCK FROM OUR HOME BUT AGAIN RESTARTED. TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP THE FOLLOWING BUSINESS DAY FOR A DIAGNOSTIC WHERE I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR AND WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY. TOTAL COST INCLUDING LABOR TO REPLACE SENSOR WAS $224. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. THANKFULLY MY PREGNANT WIFE WAS NOT ON THE HIGHWAY DURING HEAVY TRAFFIC. I CALLED DODGE TO INFORM THEM OF THE PROBLEM AND THEY DOCUMENTED BUT DIDN'T SEEM VERY CONCERNED WITH ISSUE. AGAIN, STALLING ON A BUSY HIGHWAY CAN RESULT IN A MAJOR ACCIDENT

DRIVING HOME FROM WORK AT 5:40 PM, 3 DEER RAN OUT AND AFTER SLAMMING ON BRAKES THE LAST ONE WAS STRUCK, HEAD ON. THE HOOD BUCKLED AND THE ENTIRE ENGINE OF THE CAR IMPLODED IN FLAMES. NO AIRBAGS WENT OFF AND THE CAR IMMEDIATELY DIED. I WAS ABLE TO PULL CAR OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND GET OUT OF CAR HOWEVER, THE CAR BURNED COMPLETELY. THE CAR ENGULFED IN FLAMES AND THE ENGINE, WINDOWS, ENTIRE INSIDE, EVERYTHING BURNED. THERE IS NO DASH, NO STEERING WHEEL, SEATS, FRONT TIRES, ETC ARE GONE. THERE IS VERY LITTLE LEFT AND THE MANUFACTURER HAD AN INVESTIGATION DONE AND WILL NOT TELL ME WHY THIS HAPPENED. MY HUSBAND HAS A 2014 AVENGER AND WE WANT TO KNOW IF IT IS SAFE. BUT WERE TOLD MY MANUFACTURER REPRESENTATIVE THEY WOULD NOT TELL ME BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT WANT IT OUT IN THE PUBLIC. *TR
HEAT ONLY ONLY ON DRIVER SIDE. PASSENGER SIDE HAS NO HEAT AND WILL NOT DEFROST IN THE WINTER TIME WHILE STANDING OR DRIVING. WINDSHIELD WILL FREEZE UP AS YOU'RE DRIVING. I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM FOR A FEW YEARS. VERY UNSAFE!!!!!! WILL NOT RECOMMEND DODGE TO ANYONE NOR WILL I BUY ANOTHER DODGE IF THEY DO NOT FIX THIS PROBLEM!
