The engine in my vehicle (2007 Charger, 49,000 miles) has completely failed due to "Casting Sand Sludge". This issue has been acknowledged by FCA Stellantis; but only in much newer engines. The failure in my vehicle, from the "casting sand sludge" caused the vehicle to have engine heat issues, which could have started a fire or resulted in the complete seizure of the engine at speed, potentially leading to a catastrophic and fatal outcome. The fact that the issue is present in my vehicle strongly indicates that FCA Stellantis was aware of the Casting Sand Sludge issue far earlier than they have acknowledged. The Service center suspected a head gasket issue, so they began to address it; what they found was casting sand sludge throughout the engine block. An issue which is an inherent defect of manufacturing, which is unknowable to a unsuspecting owner - until a total failure occurs. This issue would also coincidentally constitute a breach of the "implied Warranty Of Merchantability", as the issue makes affected vehicles not fit for their intended purpose. The Service Center that found the defect is an Authorized FCA Stellantis Dealer/Service Provider. The Service Manager has had an "Conference Call" with an Area Service Manager & A Service Technical Advisor. The Service Manager has indicated that it is casting sand & has told me that if the manufacturer has him send them the engine that i what he is putting on the report. He has told me that he feels that the manufacturer likely will try to bury the issue by attempting a "Forced Buyout". Cursory, research by myself has found that Casting Sand in the presence of H.O.A.T or O.A.T. coolant & heat forms a sludge which over time {40,000 to 55,000 miles} renders an engine unusable, risking catastrophic failure or fire. LX Platform vehicles of the era 2005-2009 were considered "Durable for intended purpose for 150,000 to 300,000 miles". Casting Sand left in the engine block, during manufacture, violates that durability
shuts off while driving with no warning...Stalls at stop light/sign and when i try to accelerate it has barely goes.. sometimes it seems like it has no power at all and sometimes it seems like it has to much power without me accelerating. Its very dangerous this issue has almost made me get into several accidents
SERVICE BULLETIN # 14-002-14: Fuel tank "roll over" valve failed immediately after fill-up saturating the purge solenoid and dryer canister for the fuel vapor vent reburning system. This service bulletin described failure caused liquid fuel rather than vapor to be dumped into the intake manifold stalling the vehicle in traffic in unsafe conditions. The car was towed to Beamon Dodge at 1705 S. Church St., 37130 awaiting repair. Dodge customer service was contacted at 1-800-423-6343 where they stated that this VIN was not covered by the service bulletin. Quoted repair for the manufacture defect is $4,680.48. Clearly the vehicles covered by this service bulletin are incomplete. Complaints of this failure can be found on the internet through 2014 when this service bulletin was issued on April 22, 2014. Clearly Dodge corrected nothing in their manufacturing and NHTSA is not protecting all consumers.
Filled fuel tank up until the pump shut off. As I drove onto the road, the engine suddenly died causing me to run off the shoulder as the power steering went out as well. I eventually got it re-started, but it ran rough and stalled out several more times on my way home. After some online research, I determined that it was probably raw gas getting pulled down the EVAP tube. I avoid the problem now by not filling the tank up all the way, but do it once in a while accidently and the problem returns. Highly dangerous situation.
Fuel leak at filler neck to fuel tank at fuel tank
Our 2007 charger is having the same issues with overfill and stalling after the car is filled full with gas. Dodge recalled the 2005-2006 charger tanks, but our 2007 has the same issue.
While driving car constantly cuts off and it's vary dangerous.
WHILE IM DRIVING ALL OF MY INDICATOR LIGHTS WILL FLASH, AND ALL OF THE GAUGES DROP TO ZERO REPEATEDLY. IT HAPPENS QUITE OFTEN, ESPECIALLY IN COLDER WEATHER. TOOK IT TO DODGE, THEY COULDNT REPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THERFORE IT STILL HASNT BEEN FIXED.
Takata recall. The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Charger. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V313000 (Air Bags) and 16V352000 (Air Bags) however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The dealer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts for the driver's side air bag was not yet available. The dealer had delayed the recall repairs on numerous occasions. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while attempting to restart the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start up. The contact stated that the wheels remained locked. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the powertrain control module was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failure. The contact indicated that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 06V341000 (Power Train). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 180,000. The VIN was invalid.
Hello. I have a vehicle, VIN [XXX] that needs to be repaired. It is a limo. I took it to my local dealership and they refused to repair the recalls. I called up over 15 dealerships and they also refused to repair the recall. I contacted the manufacturer and they said that they could not help me since the dealerships are basically privately owned. Gas tabk/evap system reads inaccurate fuel level and does not let me fill tank
Every since had car ticks.Was driving after fill up and car just turned off having me almost hit 8 cars on the highway with my 5 year old son in car. Now will not start. Days later it starts and tick then turns off. Found out it’s common problem everybody has in these 5.7 hemi engines lifters/ cam.

MY VEHICLE BEGINS TO STALL OUT AT LOW SPEEDS OR WHILE IDLING. WHILE SLOWING DOWN FOR A LIGHT OR JUST WAITING FOR THE TRAFFIC LIGHT TO CHANGE. I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO THE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP AT GWINNETTE CHRYSLER STONE MOUNTAIN GEORGIA AND THE PROBLEM WAS DIAGNOSED TO BE THE FUEL TANK NEEDING REPLACEMENT AFTER PAYING 3000.00 DOLLARS FOR REPAIRS THAT DID NOT RESOLVE THE ISSUE. I WAS THEN GIVEN A FINAL DIAGNOSIS THAT THE FUEL TANK WAS THE ISSUE AND IT WAS GOING TO COST 4500.00 TO REPLACE. TODAY IS APRIL 1 AND I JUST PICKED UP MY VEHICLE AFTER IT WAS SITTING IN THE DEALERSHIP FOR ALMOST 1 MONTH AND STILL THE PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. PLEASE HELP ME. MY REAR BRAKES LOCK UP WHILE I DRIVING AND ABS LIGHT COMES ON. IT CAUSED ME TO RUN OFF THE ROAD AND IT STARTED A FIRE.

I WAS đRIVING MY CAR WHEN I NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. I PULLED INTO HARDEES PARKING LOT. LOOKED AT THE ODOMETER. CAR TEMPERATURE WAS NORMAL. I TURN THE ENGINE OFF. WAITED A FEW SECONDS WHEN I NOTICED HEAVY WHITE SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. I GRABBED MY PURSE AND EXITED THE CAR. I CALLED 911 WHILE ON THE PHONE FLAMES STARTED COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. DRIVER SIDE UNDER IN FRONT OF THE TIRE IS WHERE THE FLAMES STARTED. I TOOK A PHOTO
I PURCHASED THIS CAR 2 YEARS AGO WITH THE TITLE, JUST HAVING IT AT MY PARENTS HOUSE BECAUSE I HAVE ANOTHER CAR. I DROVE IT BACK TO MEMPHIS ON THE HIGHWAY AND IT JERKED, CUT THE CAR OFF TURN IT BACK ON IT DRIVES NO MORE THAN 30 MPH. GOT A READING AT 2 DIFFERENT AUTO ZONES, AND GOT A TUNE UP, OIL CHANGE, AND WIRE COILS THAT GO WITH THE CAR. STILL THE SAME PROBLEM. SO I DRIVE THE CAR BACK TO MY PARENTS HOUSE A HOUR AWAY FROM MEMPHIS AND IT'S GOING SLOW, SO OF COURSE LAW ENFORCEMENT HAD SOME QUESTIONS THAT ALMOST ALLOWED ME TO GET THE CAR TOWED AT THE TIMES WITH THE CORONAVIRUS GOING ON AS WELL.. THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE, THE SPARK PLUGS AND SERPENTINE BELT HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER TO BE TEST DRIVEN HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. 2007 DODGE CHARGER 5.7 170,000+ MILES STALLING IMMEDIATELY OR SHORTLY AFTER FUELING WITHOUT WARNING WHILE IN DRIVE. IDENTICAL TO SAME ISSUES IN THE 2006 MODELS. CAR IS IN MOTION EACH TIME IT HAS STALLED ON CITY STREETS IN HEAVY TRAFFIC. CAR THREW EVAP CANISTER CODES. COMPONENTS WERE REPAIRED BUT CAR CONTINUED TO STALL AFTER EVER FULL TANK OF GAS. CAR THREW EVAP LEAK CODE. NO LEAKS FOUND. FUEL PUMP WAS CHECKED AND TANK CHECKED FOR OVER FLOW. NO LEAKS. NO GAS SMELL. FUEL PUMP AND EVAP SYSTEM RULED OUT AS CAUSE. THE ISSUE SEEMS TO BE WITH THE TANK ITSELF.
MY SON WAS DRIVING THE CAR AND WAS AT THE STOP LIGHT. WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN AND HE HIT THE GAS TO GO THE CAR STALLED AND IT STARTED SMOKING FROM UNDER THE TRUNK AND WITHIN SECONDS WAS IN FLAMES. THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ALSO FAILED TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE WHEELS BECAME STUCK IN THE BRIDGE AND THE VEHICLE FLIPPED OVER. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE DRIVER EXPERIENCED SORENESS AND UNDERWENT X-RAYS AND CT SCANS, BUT NO INJURIES WERE FOUND. THERE WERE THREE OTHER OCCUPANTS IN THE VEHICLE WHO SUSTAINED UNKNOWN INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE POLICE OFFICER STATED THAT DUE TO THE FAILURE AND MOMENTUM GOING DOWN THE INCLINE, THE VEHICLE MOST LIKELY STRUCK THE BRIDGE AT A RATE OF 60 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT LOT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 200,000.
I WAS DRIVING MY CAR WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN FLAMES WERE COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD ON THE DRIVER SIDE. I PULLED OVER, GOT OUT AND CALLED 911. BY THE TIME THE FIRE DEPARTMENT PUT OUT THE FIRE, MY CAR WAS TOTALED. THERE MUST HAVE BEEN A DEFECT SOMEWHERE UNDER THE HOOD. IT MAY HAVE BEEN THE ENGINE WHICH I HAD TO REPLACE AT 66,841 MILES FOR OVER $8,000. I GOT NO WARNINGS ON THE DASH, JUST FIRE FROM UNDER THE HOOD.
VALVE SEATS DROPPED ON CYLINDER 1 AND 7 WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY CAUSING SEVERE DAMAGE TO INTERNAL CYLINDER AND CAUSING OVER HEAT OF CAR ALSO NO LONGER TURNS ON. CAUSED SOME SPARK PLUGS TO BEND DUE TO PISTON HITTING THEM. PHOTO ATTACHED IS THE CYLINDER DAMAGED FROM PIECE OF VALVE SEAT BOUNCING AROUND INSIDE THE PISTON. *TR
TRANSMISSION SHIFTER INTERLOCK LEVER FAILED REFERENCE K39
COOLING FANS JUST BUSTED MY RADIATOR. I WENT TO THE STORE ONE MILE UP THE ROAD, CAME HOME, PARKED MY CAR AND HEARD A LOUD NOISE LIKE MY CAR WAS HIT. I GET OUT AND RADIATOR FLUID IS POURING OUT. MY COOLING FANS BUSTED MY RADIATOR.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT THE COOLING FAN FOR THE RADIATOR HAD FRACTURED INTO PIECES. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS ADVISED TO TOW THE VEHICLE TO RYDELL DODGE CHRYSLER (700 SAN FERNANDO RD, SAN FERNANDO, CA 91340). THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER, BUT WAS NOT REPAIRED BECAUSE THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN AN UNKNOWN CUSTOMER SATISFACTION LETTER SENT IN 2011. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. EXPLOSION IN THE ENGINE WHILE DRIVING CONTACT WAS LEFT STRANDED DAMAGE DONE TO THE RADIATOR FROM FRACTURED FAN BLADES WHILE AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT, THERE WAS AN EXPLOSION UNDER THE HOOD OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO GET THE VEHICLE OFF OF THE ROADWAY. UPON INSPECTING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT SEVERAL OF THE FAN BLADES HAD FRACTURED AND PUNCTURED THE RADIATOR. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE CONTACTED NOR INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 180,000. THE CONTACT EXITED THE VEHICLE, LOOKED UNDERNEATH, AND NOTICED FLUID LEAKING FROM THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO THE CONTACT'S HOME. NORTH POINT CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM FIAT (7726 NORTH POINT BLVD, WINSTON-SALEM, NC 27106, (336) 283-2496) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 59092376. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 160,000.
A RECALL WAS ISSUED IN 2011 FOR SHIFT INTERLOCK LEVERS FOR VEHICLES THAT WERE MANUFACTURED BEGINNING IN JUNE 2007 (RECALL # K39). THE SYMPTOM WAS CUSTOMERS NOT BEING ABLE TO SHIFT THEIR VEHICLES FROM THE PARK POSITION. MY VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED IN FEBRUARY 2007. I WAS TOLD BY DODGE CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT MY WAS MADE BEFORE THE DATE ALLOWED. I WOULD LIKE TO INQUIRE WHETHER THE COMPONENT AFFECTING THESE VEHICLES WAS ADDED AFTER MY VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED OR IS IT THE SAME. IF IT IS THE SAME PLEASE ALLOW THE EARLIER VEHICLES TO FALL UNDER THIS RECALL ALSO. THANK YOU. MY VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY IN THE DRIVEWAY.
THE CAR WILL NOT COME OUT OF PARK. THE BRAKES LIGHTS ARE WORKING AND WHEN I PRESS THE BRAKE AND GO TO MOVE THE CAR OUT OF PARK IT JAMS AND WON'T GO INTO REVERSE.
"TAKATA RECALL" THE RADIATOR FAN ASSEMBLY BROKE AND DAMAGED THE RADIATOR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS EXPERIENCING A FAILURE DUE TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06V493000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). WHILE DRIVING 10 MPH, THE ABS, EMERGENCY BRAKE, AND TRACTION CONTROL/EPS WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE ABS MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 160,085.
THE SOFTWARE PROGRAMMED INTO THE POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE CAUSE A MOMENTARY LOCK UP OF THE DRIVE WHEELS IF THE VEHICLE IS TRAVELING OVER 40 MPH AND THE OPERATOR SHIFTS FROM DRIVE TO NEUTRAL AND BACK TO DRIVE. THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET, HIGHWAY AND WHEN I DO TURNS. ALSO THE DRIVER AND FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ARE INFLATOR
VEHICLE ON THREE ISOLATED OCCASIONS OVER THE PAST WEEK HAS LUNGES FORWARD WHILE STOPPED AT A RED TRAFFIC LIGHT, ANOTHER INSTANCE AT A STOP SIGN AND AS OF TODAY WHILE WAITING IN LINE AT A LOCAL COFFEE SHOP DRIVE THROUGH. ON EACH OCCASION MY VEHICLE WAS AT A COMPLETE STOP FOR ROUGHLY A MINUTE, MY FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE AND SUDDENLY THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SELF REV TO 3500 RPM. ON ALL OCCASIONS I HAD TO IMMEDIALTY PLACE THE VEHICLE IN NEUTRAL TO PREVENT CATASTROPHIC ENDANGERMENT TO MYSELF, SURROUNDING VEHICLES AND PERSONS. THIS CONDITION IS A DETRIMENT TO HE SAFE OPERATION OF THE VEHICLE. HOWEVER DODGE REFUSES TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE.

WHILE PARKED AT IDLE, RADIATOR FAN, WITHOUT WARNING, SUDDENLY AND CATASTROPHICALLY FAILS SENDING FAN BLADES INTO THE RADIATOR CAUSING RUPTURE OF RADIATOR AND UNCONTROLLED PRESSURIZED RELEASE OF COOLANT. SETTING: PARKED VEHICLE IN PARKING SPOT OF A DEPARTMENT STORE WITH INTENT TO SHOP. PLACES VEHICLE IN PARK, WITHIN A FEW SWCIDNS A LOUD EXPLOSION RESONATES FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND BEGINS SMOKING. I IMMEDIATELY SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF. OPENED THE HOOD AND IDENTIFIED THE FAILURE.
I WAS IN A DRIVE THRU WAITING ON THE CASHIER, WHEN I HEARD A LOUD EXPLOSION AND POP FROM UNDER MY ENGINE. I COULD ALSO FEEL IT THROUGH MY BRAKE PEDAL. SCARED AND WONDERING WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED? I IMMEDIATELY PULLED FORWARD AND PARKED MY CAR AND TURNED THE ENGINE OFF. I GOT OUT OF MY VEHICLE AND NOTICED FLUID LEAKING. I POPPED THE HOOD AND FOUND SOME SHATTERED PLASTIC PIECES. UPON MY 1ST INSPECTIONS MY FAN WAS WHAT SHATTERED. I MADE A FEW CALLS AND WHEN A MECHANIC CAME TO INSPECT 20 MINUTES LATER, HE SAID THE FAN EXPLODED CAUSING PIECES TO THEN HIT THE RADIATOR. NOW BOTH PARTS NEED TO BE REPLACED. NOW INVESTIGATION, I SEE THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM FOR CHARGERS AND I'M WONDERING WHY THERE ISN'T A RECALL. I CANT EVEN IMAGINE WHAT COULD'VE HAPPENED IF I WAS DRIVING. I ALSO HAD MY CHILD IN THE CAR. SCARY ENOUGH WHILE THE CAR WASN'T MOVING. TIS HAPPENED OUT OF THE BLUE WITH NO PRIOR WARNINGS.

RHINELANDER CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (3620 WI-47, RHINELANDER, WI 54501, (715) 420-1555) STATED THAT THE CONTACT WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR BECAUSE THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 101,779.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE MERGING INTO HIGHWAY TRAFFIC, A LOUD NOISE EMITTED UNDER THE HOOD AND SMOKE WAS SEEN COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO COAST THE VEHICLE OUT OF TRAFFIC, INSPECTED THE VEHICLE, AND FOUND THAT THE ENGINE COOLING FAN DETACHED, WHICH DAMAGED THE RADIATOR AND ENGINE. AS A RESULT, THE COOLANT AND OIL WERE LEAKING AND SEVERAL WIRES WERE CUT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TOWED TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE WARRANTY REPAIR FOR THE ENGINE COOLING FAN REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
THE TURN SIGNAL LIGHT DIMMER BROKE ON THE INSIDE OF THE STEERING WHEEL , IT WON'T RETURN TO THE MIDDLE AFTER YOU TURN LEFT OR RIGHT. ALMOST GOTTEN IN A FEW ACCIDENT BECAUSE MY SIGNAL LIGHT WAS STILL ON.
I PURCHASED A SET OF NEXEN ROADIAN HP 102V TIRES IN JULY 2015, SIZE 265/35/22. I RECENTLY WENT TO GET MY VEHICLE SERVICED WHEN I WAS TOLD THAT I NEEDED NEW TIRES AND WAS ASKED TO COME TAKE A LOOK. ALL 4 OF MY TIRES HAD CRACKED AROUND THE SHOULDER OF THE TIRES, AND THE CRACKING WAS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE TIRE THAT I HAVE NO VISION OF. THIS IS A SERIOUS MATTER THAT I WOULDN'T HAVE NEVER KNOWN IF I HADN'T TAKEN MY VEHICLE IN TO BE SERVICED. I HAVE ONLY PUT A LITTLE OVER 20,000 MILES ON THESE TIRES AND THE TREADING IS GREAT WHICH DOESN'T SHOW ANY SIGNS OF NEGLECT. THE PLACE I PURCHASED THE TIRES FROM AGREED THAT THE TIRES ARE IN GREAT CONDITION, & THE TIRES HAD THE CORRECT PRESSURE IN THE ETC. THEY ALSO SAID THAT I'M NOT THE FIRST PERSON THAT HAS COME IN WITH THE SAME ISSUE WITH NEXEN ROADIAN HP TIRES. THEY SENT ALL OF THE PAPERWORK IN TO THE MANUFACTURER AND THEY ARE THE WORST. BERNARDO WAS VERY RUDE AND TRYING TO PUT BLAME ON THE CUSTOMER (ME) WHEN HE WAS CLEARLY TOLD BY THE PLACE I PURCHASED THE TIRES FROM WHICH ARE THE SAME ONE'S THAT TOOK PICTURES OF THE TIRES AND DID THE INSPECTION THAT THEY SEE ABSOLUTELY NO FAULT OF MINE AND THAT THE TIRES ARE JUST DEFECTIVE. SO THEN I ASKED FOR THE DOT NUMBERS, AND WHAT DO WE DISCOVER??? THE MANUFACTURING DATE WAS STAMPED 4715, HOW COULD THIS BE IF I PURCHASED THE TIRES IN JULY 2015? THERE IS SOMETHING SHADY GOING ON AND NEXEN NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED, MY CAR HAS BEEN AT MCCARTHY TIRE FOR 2 WEEKS AND NOW THAT THE DOT ISSUE HAS BEEN DISCOVERED NO ONE HAS AN ANSWER TO WHY IT'S STAMPED FOR THE 47TH WEEK OF 2015, IT'S ONLY 52 WEEKS IN A YEAR WHICH MEANS I WOULD'VE HAD TO BY THOSE TIRES IN NOVEMBER 2015. THE REVIEWS I'M READING ON NEXEN TIRES ARE EXACTLY THE SAME ISSUE THAT I'M HAVING, WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE BEFORE A RECALL IS DONE ON NEXEN TIRES?
