SO AS I WAS TRYING TO START MY DOGE CHARGER MY CAR WOULD NOT TURN ON IT WOULD START UP FOR ONLE A LITTLE BIT THEN IT WOULD SHUT OFF, WHEN I TOOK THE KEY OUT THE GEAR STICK GOT STUCK ON PARKING AND I COULD NOT GET IT OUT OF PARKING.

THE CAR WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF PARK. IT SHOWED NO STRESS WHILE DRIVING. NO PROBLEMS WITH THE TRANSMISSION. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THEY HAVE TO REPLACE THE WHOLE SHIFT COLUMN APPROXIMATELY$350.00

WAS ISSUED A SAFETY RECALL FOR THE DRIVER AIRBAG INFLATOR HOUSING. HAVE ATTEMPTED TO GET PROBLEM FIXED WITH LOCAL DEALER, CHAMPAIGN CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP, AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE AND THAT I WOULD BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST TO BE CALLED WHEN THEY BECAME AVAILABLE. FIRST CALLED JULY 21ST, 2015. HAVE CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES AND BEEN TOLD THE SAME THING EVERY TIME WITH SLIGHT VARIATIONS OF TIMING FOR PARTS TO ARRIVE. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE AS OF TODAY, JANUARY 4TH, 2016.
THE REAR BRAKES ARE GOING THROUGH ROUTERS AND BRAKE PADS EXTENSIVELY. THE REASON WHY THIS IS HAPPENING IS STILL UNKNOWN. WANTED TO MAKE YOU AWARE OF THIS ISSUE, AND MAKE SURE THIS PROBLEM HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ABS RECALL.
I RECEIVED AN SAFETY RECALL NOTICE IN THE MAIL FOR MY DRIVER AIRBAG INFLATOR HOUSING, THAT WILL RUPTURE. I CALL DON JACKSON DODGE DEALER IN JONESBORO GA. MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR JULY 15 2015 AT 9AM. THEY TELL ME THEY DONT HAVE THE PART AND THAT THEY WILL PUT ME ON A LIST AND CALL ME WHEN THEY GET THE PART. WELL ITS BEEN A MONTH NOW. TODAY IS AUGUST 20,2015 I JUST CALLED THEM BACK TODAY. I AM NOT ON A LIST FOR THIS PART AND THE LADY I TALK TO COULDNT PULL MY NAME UP IN THE SYSTEM. SO TECHNICALLY THEY ERASE ALL MY INFORMATION FROM THEIR SYSTEM. NOW IM WORRIED SOMETHING MAY HAPPEN WHILE IM DRIVING THE CAR WIRH MY AIR BAG. THIS WAS NOT A PROFESSIONALLY THING TO DO. WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?

WHEN TRYING TO LEAVE THE PARKING LOT OF A GROCERY STORE, MY VEHICLE WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF PARK. NEVER HAVING A SHIFTING ISSUE BEFORE, I WAS IN A PANIC AS TO WHAT TO DO, SINCE I HAD MY CHILDREN WITH ME AND FELT STRANDED. AFTER PAYING TO HAVE MY VEHICLE TOWED TO A SERVICE CENTER, I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE K39 RECALL FROM CHRYSLER, WHICH WAS EXACTLY WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY VEHICLE. HOWEVER, SINCE MY VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED 6 WEEKS BEFORE THE START DATE FOR THE 2007 MODELS, I'M NOT INCLUDED IN THIS RECALL. IT CLEARLY DOESN'T MATTER THAT HUNDREDS OF CUSTOMERS ARE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE AS ME, BUT ARE STILL HAVING TO PAY $400+ TO FIX SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE COVERED. AFTER SPENDING 30 MINUTES LISTENING TO A REP AT THE CHRYSLER RECALL CENTER TELL ME HOW OFTEN HE'S HEARD OF THIS COMPLAINT, JUST TO TELL ME THAT I'M S.O.L. IS BEYOND FRUSTRATING! THIS EXPERIENCE HAS TURNED ME OFF FROM BUYING ANOTHER CHRYSLER PRODUCT EVER AGAIN!

ENGINE TURNS OFF WHEN IDLING SUCH AS WHEN STOPPED AT A "STOP SIGN" OR "TRAFFIC LIGHT". AUTO DEALERSHIP REPLACED BOTH FUEL PUMPS AND HAVE CLEANED THROTTLE HOUSING BUT PROBLEM CONTINUES.

DRIVING ON CITY STREET SPEED LIMIT 40MPH CAR BEGAN OVERHEATING. IN ATTEMPT TO FIX THE OVERHEATING ISSUE A NEW WATER PUMP AND 2 NEW RADIATORS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED. THE INITIAL RADIATOR LITERALLY HAD THE ENTIRE BOTTOM FALL OUT. THE COOLING FANS WILL NOT COME ON AND ARE DAMAGED. IT IS MY BELIEF THAT THE DAMAGE TO THE COOLING FANS IS WHAT CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE RADIATOR. I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS ISSUE FOR 3 YEARS NOW DRIVING ANOTHER CAR IF TRAVELING MORE THAN 1 MILE FROM MY HOME. OBVIOUSLY THIS IS A PROBLEM CAUSED BY THE MANUFACTURERL
I WAS EXITING A PARKING LOT. I HAD MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE WAITING TO EXIT AND MAKE MY LEFT HAND TURN. I HAD MY WINDOWS UP AND A/C ON. WHILE THE CAR WAS STATIONARY THERE WAS A BIG BANG UNDER MY HOOD AND I STARTED TO SMELL COOLANT. I DROVE MY CAR TO A REPAIR SHOP AND WAS TOLD ONE OF MY COOLING FANS BROKE, SENDING A BLADE INTO MY RADIATOR CAUSING SEVERE DAMAGE TO IT.
THE CAR SHAKES AND SHIMMIES. IT HAS BEEN DOING IT FOR A FEW YEARS AND KEEPS GETTING WORSE. THE HIGHER THE SPEED THE MORE IT SHAKES. IT SHAKES RIGHT UP THE STEERING COLUMN INTO THE STEERING WHEEL. I FEAR THE SHAKING WILL RESULT IN OTHER PARTS FAILING WHICH COULD LEAD TO AN ACCIDENT. CAR IS VERY SCARY TO DRIVE. IF A STEERING ROD FAILS BECAUSE OF THIS IT COULD BE CATASTROPHIC.

THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM THAT BEGAN SOMETIME AFTER THE AIRBAG RECALL REPLACEMENT AND CONTINUES TO HAPPEN. CAR CAN BE IN MOTION DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD OR STATIONARY IN PARK OR WITH FOOT ON THE BRAKE. FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON I WILL HEAR A DING DING DING, SIMULTANEOUSLY ALL LIGHTS WILL START BLINKING AND THE GAUGES GO HAY WIRE DROPPING AND JUMPING. ALL ALERTS WILL BE FLASHING (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO GAS, TRANSMISSION, BRAKE ETC.). THERE'S A PROBLEM WITH THE HEAD GASKETS ON THE 2.7 V6 ENGINES. MY CHARGER IS BOILING COOLANT IN THE RESERVOIR COOLANT TANK AND WHEN YOU RUN THE RPM'S UP TO 3X, COOLANT SPRAY OUT THE COOLANT CAP. I REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT, THE COOLANT TOP ITSELF, I DID A RADIATOR FLUSH AND ALSO CHANGED SPARK PLUGS AND AT THIS POINT I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO. MY CAR HAS 15400 MILES ON IT AND IT HAPPENS DAY AFTER DAY BUT NOW IT SEEMS AS IF THE ISSUE HAS GOTTEN WORSE. I WAS TOLD THAT ALL OR MOST THE 2.7 ENGINES HAS HAD THIS ISSUE AND HAD TO REPLACE THE WHOLE ENGINE. AFTER EXPLAINING TO DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP WHAT MY VEHICLE WAS DOING I PAID $125 FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND THEY SAID THAT IT FAILED THE BLOCK TEST AND IT'S RECOMMENDED TO TEAR DOWN THE TOP CYLINDER HEADS TO CHECK FOR WARPED GASKETS. PLEASE GET BACK TO ME WITH ANY RESOLUTIONS.

THIS AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON AND HAS CONTROL OVER THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT AND ALSO CONTROLS THE DEFROST AS WELL. THIS IS UNSAFE CONDITION BECAUSE I LIVE IN A STATE WHERE IT RAINS REALLY HARD AND I ALMOST HIT SEVERAL CARS FROM BEHIND BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE MY DEFROST IN THE FRONT OR REAR.
