While I am driving the vehicle it shuts off and the key seems to be loose. It has shut off multiple times while operating driving down the highway making it unsafe to get to the side of the road
Something wrong in the fuel system. Gas guage incorrect and when putting fuel in sometimes it spits it back out without having full tank.
The engine seizes up if you look at 2010 dodge chargers almost every one that has a problem is the engine seized up on them.

Drove on hwy no problem made it into town Smelled gas & seen smoke coming from hood briefly(tank was half full )Turned car off got out seen smoke from under the hood, opened the hood as best as i could and seen flames coming from under the hood.CALL fire Dept. dash have no warnings of anything only the smell and being observant saves my life
Got rear ended day later hears a winding noise and engine light came on then Battery light came on. When driving next day all lights on dash board came on and car died. Thought was battery changed it then restarted car. Next day bring to get diagnosed and said altnator was testing bad so had that replaced but Battery light stayed on. Took to collision center dodge and they said pcm was bad so had that replaced. The mechanic stated common problem when altnator dies it burns up the pm module. So I had to wait 2 months for it to get replaced and now changed still the check engine lights and battery light is on.

Hi I have been trying to get my recalls fixed but everytime I call the dealership they take my information but they never call me back, it has been many months waiting and It says that my airbag can deploy shrapnel everywhere because of humidity.. I have a heart pump and I take many medications and one of them is a blood thinner. If I get hurt from flying shrapnel it could and most likely will kill me because while taking blood thinners it makes it so that you bleed very easily.. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The dealer and Bay Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (636 15th St, Panama City, FL 32401) were made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. Wireless Iginition Node(WIN) (RECALL) I have this problem my 2010 Dodge Charger. I've noticed it's a recall on this problem. Problems!
The contact owns a 2010 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the timing chain fractured. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer and the contact was informed that the parts to perform the repair was not available. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 113,000.
THERE'S A OPEN RECALL FOR MY 2010 DODGE CHARGER R/T & I TOOK IT TO CUETER CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM. THEY HAD IT FOR 8 DAYS & HAD NOT TOUCHED THE CAR SINCE I DROPPED IT OFF. THEY SAID THEY WERE WAITING ON PARTS NOW IT'S BEEN 16 DAYS & HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANY WORD BACK. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO. THE RECALLS ARE FOR THE PASSENGER AIRBAG & THE ENGINE TIMING CHAIN WHICH IS VERY SERIOUS IN MY OPINION BUT MUST NOT BE TO THEM.

TL* THE CONTACT'S WIFE OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT UPON DEPRESSION OF THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE SHIFTER LEVER MADE AN ABNORMAL CLICKING SOUND WHEN SHIFTING GEARS, WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT LINKED THE NOISE TO A DEFECTIVE TRANSMISSION SHIFTER INTERLOCK LEVER. THE VEHICLE HAD YET TO BE SERVICED OR DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE HOWEVER, IF THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED, THE SHIFTER INTERLOCK LEVER MAY BECOME INOPERABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT UNDER RECALL. THE CONTACT WAS THEN REFERRED TO NHTSA FOR ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 66,000.
The "WIN" module on my 2010 dodge charger srt8 is having the defects associated on other 2010 regular chargers but isn't on the recall list .. Why is that ?
2010 police charger fobik started falling out of ignition.. problem continues dealership says no big deal eventually the day came when I tried to turn the car off and I couldn't switch will no longer turn to the off position... Every time I want to turn the car off I have to pop the hood pull a fuse then get in the trunk and disconnect the battery. I went online did a recall search and found that I have no open recalls however I found hundreds if not thousands of people are having this same issue... Dealership said it was on me... I found online a recall notice k08 on cars built between Jan and March with this issue have a recall mines built in Feb but the vin number shows no recall wtf... Plugged in my scan tool which knows my vin and showed me the same recall notice on cars built at that time and on the notice it just has build dates nothin about vin numbers... Goin back to the dealership Monday.. this is an absolutely ludicrous situation that is potentially fatal that Chrysler needs to address!
I NEED ASSISTANCE IN HAVING FCA (FIAT CHRYSLER AUTOMOTIVE) IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL P60/NHTSA 14V-634 ALTERNATOR HONORED (VANISHED ACCORDING TO FCA) TO COVER THE COST OF REPLACING MY ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY IN MY 2010/2011 DODGE CHARGER (MANUFACTURED IN LATE 2010) WHICH ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP, ARE NOW IN NEED OF REPLACEMENT. I HAVE EXPERIENCED VARIABLE ELECTRICAL/POWER FAILURES WITH MY VEHICLE OVER THE COURSE OF THE SUMMER/FALL MONTHS OF 2020 FROM REDUCED AND RANDOM, TEMPORARY POWER FAILURES, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM VOLTAGE DROPS, AND LIGHTNING BOLT SENSORS COMING ON WHICH INSTANTLY REDUCED THE ACCELERATION OF THE VEHICLE ON THE HIGHWAY AND ON OCCASION EVEN LED TO COMPLETE POWER FAILURE, SHUTTING OFF THE ENGINE WHEN IDLING AT A STOP. THIS ISSUE CAME TO A HEAD AROUND THE END OF NOVEMBER 2020 WHEN MY VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SENSOR CAME ON RANDOMLY WHILE AT A STOP LIGHT AND THE ENGINE DIED AND MADE NO SOUND; IT WOULD NOT START.

WHILE DRIVING ON A 2 LANE HIGHWAY WITH TRAFFIC BEHIND ME, THE CAR SHUTS DOWN AND I LOSE POWER WHILE DRIVING. THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP MAKING IT VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN. I PRESSED THE GAS REPEATEDLY AND NOTHING HAPPENED. CARS BEHIND ME WERE BLOWING BUT THERE WASN'T MUCH I COULD DO. THE CAR WAS SLOWING DOWN ANYWAY SO I PRESSED THE BRAKE AND THEY WORKED SO I STRUGGLED LIKE CRAZY TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL AND WAS ABLE TO PUT THE CAR INTO A CHURCH DRIVEWAY. THANK GOD THE BRAKES WORKED OR IT COULD'VE BEEN UGLY. I TRIED STARTING THE CAR BUT IT WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING BUT ACT LIKE IT WANTED TO START. IT WASN'T A CLICKING IT WAS MORE LIKE A WINDING NOISE LIKE A RUUU RUUU RUUU. I TRIED TO START IT AGAIN AND IT MADE THE SAME NOISE BUT IT SOUNDED WORSE. I HAD TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED TO MY HOME BECAUSE THERE WASN'T A REPAIR SHOP OPENED THAT LATE. I'M GOING TO CALL A MECHANIC TO SEE WHAT THE ISSUE MIGHT BE. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME. IT HAPPENED TWO IN APRIL AND THREE TIMES IN MAY OF THIS YEAR BUT IT STARTED BACK UP. I WASN'T SO LUCKY THIS TIME. THE LAST TIME IT HAPPENED I REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR AND THE BATTERY AND I HAD NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS SINCE DOING THAT. I TOOK IT IN TO HAVE IT CHECKED AND IT WAS PLACED ON A MACHINE AND NO CODES WOULD SHOW UP BUT THE GUY RECOMMENDED I REPLACE THE ALTERNATOR AND THE BATTERY, AND I DID. DODGE REALLY NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ASAP. THIS [XXX] IS RIDICULOUS. IT HAPPENED TO ME WHEN I WAS ON THE INTERSTATE AND ON THE HIGHWAY. HOPEFULLY THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN WITH AN INEXPERIENCED DRIVER OR SOMEONE IN A REALLY HIGH TRAFFIC AREA BECAUSE SOMEONE COULD GET INJURED OR KILLED. AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED, THE CONTACT HEARD A TICKING NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE CONTACT TURNED AROUND AND WENT BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE SHE WAS INFORMED THAT THE ROCKET ARM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. ENGINE CUT OFF WHILE DRIVING AND WOULD NOT START AGAIN. CARRIED TO CERTIFIED DEALERSHIP, ENGINE LOCKED UP AND THERE WAS FOUND METAL SHAVINGS IN OIL. HAD TO REPLACE ENGINE.

I CANNOT GET MY KEY OUT AFTER STARTING THE CAR. DODGE DEALER SAID I NEED A NEW STEERING WHEEL SYSTEM PART NO. 5057552AD WHICH COST $5,163.34. THE PART THAT IS BAD IS THE STEERING WHEEL MODULE PART NO. 68040075AA. MY QUESTION IS WHY THE STEERING WHEEL MODULE PART HAS NOT BEEN RECALLED?
MY KEY WILL NOT COME OUT OF THE IGNITION AFTER RUNNING THE CAR. I HAVE TO PULL OUT THE FUSE #8 IN THE TRUNK AND I HEAR A CLICK AND IT RESETS AND THEN I CAN GET THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION TURNING IT TO THE LEFT.

THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO REMOVE THE LUG NUTS WITH THE TIRE TOOL BECAUSE THE NUTS EXPANDED AND COULD FRACTURE IF ATTEMPTED TO BE REMOVED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 122,000.

RECENTLY I HAVE CHANGED THE BATTERY, ALTERNATOR, AND NOW THE CAR IS AT THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY CHANGED SOME TYPE OF MODULE THAT READS THE KEYS, FIRST THEY STATED THE FUSE BOX IN THE TRUNK WAS THE PROBLEM. THEY INSTALLED A NEW FUSE BOX AND THEY THEN STATED THAT WAS NOT THE PROBLEM. NEXT IS WHEN THEY REPLACED THE MODULE THAT READS THE KEYS, AND THEN THEY STATED THAT ALL THE FUSES WERE BLOWN AND THERE HAD TO BE A POWER SURGE THERE WAS NOT. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DIDN'T SEE THE BLOWN FUSES WHEN THEY STARTED THIS WHOLE PROCESS. ALSO, THEY STATED THAT THERE IS A RECALL ON 2010 DODGE CHARGERS WITH THE MODULE THAT CONTROLS THE KEYS HOWEVER MY CAR WAS 10 DAYS OUTSIDE OF THE BUILD DATE TO QUALIFY. WHAT IS GOING AND WHY WOULD MY CAR BE OUTSIDE THE BUILD DATE? THEY STATED THAT THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE ISSUE IS NOW. THE OFFICIAL DODGE DEALERSHIP HAS MY CAR AND THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE ISSUE IS.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 152,000.
TAKATA RECALL MY DODGE IS FAIRLY NEW. A 2010 AND THE GAS GAUGE HAS COMPLETELY STOPPED READING CORRECTLY. IT'LL DIE WHEN IT READS THERE'S A QUARTER OF A TANK LEFT OR EVEN WHEN IT SAYS THERE IS HALF A TANK LEFT. I'VE BEEN IN MULTIPLE SITUATIONS WHEN THE CAR HAS DIED AND I READ A LOT OF FORUMS WITH PEOPLE THE SAME MAKE MODEL HAVING THIS ISSUE.
I'VE HAD A RECURRING ISSUE WITH A FUEL SMELL IN MY VEHICLE . TURNS OUT MOST DODGE CHARGERS HAVE DEFECTIVE FUEL PUMPS AND LUCKY US THERE ARE 2 AT ALMOST 700 DOLLARS TOGETHER FROM NAPA . WHY HASN'T THIS ISSUE BEEN RECALLED? IT CAN CAUSE MAJOR DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE IF FUEL GETS IN THE OIL. MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN GAS VAPORS SHOULD NEVER BE IN CABIN !!!!
SAFETY RECALL K08. WIRELESS IGNITION NODE KEY FALLS OUT OF IGNITION, CAR KEEPS RUNNING, CAN'T SHUT OFF UNLESS DISCONNECT BATTERY. CAR ALSO SHUTS OFF BY ITSELF AT TIMES IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC. PURCHASED CAR ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO. DEALER WANTS TO CHARGE $1250 TO FIX IT BECAUSE CAR NOT SHOWING ANY OPEN RECALLS. MAY HAVE BEEN FIXED ONE TIME BEFORE WE PURCHASED IT BUT IT IS DOING EXACTLY WHAT RECALL PROBLEM IS RIGHT NOW. NOT SURE IF IT WAS EVER TAKEN CARE OF.
I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY WHEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN A BUNCH OF WARNING LIGHTS STARTED FLASHING ON THE DASHBOARD SO A PULLED OFF THE FREEWAY AND THE MOTOR DIED AND WOULD NOT START AGAIN.. I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW BATTERY AND PUT THAT IN THEN THE ALTERNATOR STARTED SMOCKING AND BURNED OUT SO I BOUGHT A NEW ONE AND PUT THAT IN. I MADE IT ACROSS TOWN ALL LIGHT STARTED FLICKERING AGAIN AND CAR SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING. I REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR AGAIN AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW THE CAR IS DEAD!
TOWED MY CAR TO DEALERSHIP ON 1/24/2019 DUE TO LIFESAVING RECALLS AND WAS REFUSED THE LIFESAVING REPAIRS BASED OFF MY VEHICLE ALLEGEDLY NOT BEING ABLE TO START WHICH IS A LIE BECAUSE THE TOWING SERVICE JUMP STARTED THE BATTERY AT MY PLACE OF RESIDENCE AND DROVE THE CAR ONTO THE TOWING BED.HENCE MY VEHICLE STILL POSING A THREAT ON LIFE AND CLIENT SAFETY AS A WHOLE. WHICH WILL NOT BE ERADICATED UNTIL I FIX THE CAR WHICH IN THAT TIME THE AIRBAGS COULD EXPLODE AND KILL MYSELF AND OTHER INNOCENT PEOPLE.
ALTENATOR MAKES A WHINING NOISE WHILE DRIVING AND THEN WITHIN 2 TO 3 MINUTES THE BATTERY INDICATOR LIGHT COMES ON THEN THERE IS AN IMMEDIATE BURNING SMELL.
I AM NOT ABLE TO PUT MY CAR IN GEAR FROM PARK. I WILL HAVE MY FOOT ON THE BREAK AND SHIFT TO REVERSE OR DRIVE AND IT WON'T BUDGE AT ALL. IT ACTS LIKE IT'S LOCKED UP. WHAT IS CAUSING THIS. THIS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME UNTIL I HAD THE AIR BAGS REPLACES FOR THE AIR BAG RECALL.
