When a passenger is in the car, the air bag light and an audible alert constantly go off while driving. Took it to the dealership and they say this: "it's a seat belt buckle sensor circuit causing orc. light wires are connected and not damaged" To me, the words "not damaged" indicate that this is not our fault. Of course we're not going to let our daughter continue to drive the car like this, but I feel like $522.79, which is what they're charging, in addition to a $99 misc. fee that I don't know what is, is WAY too much for something that I thought would be considered a safety issue.
Transmission shifts rough. Dealership replaced transmission but it has been doing the thing since day one when they replaced it. Motor bogs down when turning. Passenger seat belt flashes and dings even though the belt is clicked. Hands free system longer works. Airbags light is always on. Back up camera is flipped upside down and is a backing hazard. Odometer is flashing as well. Tire pressure sensors will show that there is no air in the tires after driving about 45 mins. It asks if there has been and crashes, I have not but it could happen. you never know when the car isn't going to respond.
I just bought this car last month, from my knowledge it has not been repaired, this is my first time buying a car or I would have never purchased it, one month after getting the car I finally receive a history report and I find out I have 6 recalls, have been having so many issue with this car since the week I purchased it, the speedometer does not work in heat and apparently the blower motor to the a/c as well huge inconvenience buying in the summer, the recalls state I have issue to look forward to in the winter as well. My parking brake does not work and I notice that the car rolls slightly in park, I have to press down hard on the gas just to pull out of my parking space in the morning it does not shift into reverse properly and I have been told by many people my brakes are bad despite them being changed recently and another recall says it’s a brake pad issue, I cannot test the other recalls because I am not a mechanic and I have not gotten into an accident but I would like to know if my airbags work and why my engine is having problems despite paying to get it fixed and still having issues

The seat belt warning light will continue to beep and flash when someone is in the seat and has the seatbelt on, also my car is unable to be parked for more than one day without starting it or it drains the battery and then has to be jump started with another car for it to run again and then the battery has to be replaced this seems like a serious defect the car should be able to sit for at least a couple days and be fine and this is during regular temperature times also so it's very strange it definitely seems like electrical issues.
I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH BODY CONTROL MODULE AND THIS DAMAGING ALL MY VEHICLES SENSORS AS THE SENSORS ARE DAMAGED THE ACTUAL SYSTEM WHICH IS THE ENGINE AND THE MECHANICAL SYSTEM IS DAMAGED AND CAR WON'T START IT STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND THEN AFTER FEW TRIALS I SOME HOW STARTED IT AND THEN IT STALLS BUT THIS STALLING IS REALLY DANGEROUS BECAUSE THE BCM IS SENDING WRONG SIGNALS TO THE ACCELERATOR AND IT ACCELERATES EVEN I HAVE EASED THE GAS SO IF ANYTHING HAPPENS LATER OR NOW I WOULD BLAME DODGE FOR MAKING SUCH A WORST CAR AND ALSO THE NHTSA FOR GIVING DODGE THE PERMISSION.
ALL INTERNAL LIGHTS AND DASHBOARD LIGHTS START FLICKERING THE TRUNK OPENS UP BY ITSELF THE CAR STARTS BY ITSELF SHUTS OFF WHEN RUNNING. AFTER DRIVING FOR UP TO 30 TO 30 MINUTES TO 1 HOUR THE CAR START GOING INTO THIS MODE WHERE IT WITH THE HORN WOULD BE THE DOORS WOULD JUST UNLOCK BY HIMSELF THE IF I'M PARKING MY CAR FOR THE NIGHT THE CAR I JUST START UP BY ITSELF WITHOUT THE KEY BEING IN THE CAR IF I'M DRIVING THE CAR A SHUT OFF IN MID DRIVE AND A PARKING AT THE RED LIGHT THESE ARE ALL THE ISSUES THAT I'M HAVING WITH THIS VEHICLE THE HORN THE ALARM COMES ON WITHOUT THE KEY IN IT.
THE AIRBAG LIGHT STARTED COMING ON WHEN A PASSENGER SAT IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. THE LIGHT WOULD GO OFF. WHEN DRIVING, THE AIRBAG LIGHT BEGAN COMING ON WHEN DRIVING WITH NO PASSENGER AND THEN STAYED ON. IN ADDITION, THE SEATBELT LIGHT WOULD BEEP EVEN WHEN THE PASSENGER BELT WAS PLUGGED IN. I TOOK THE VEHICLE INTO DODGE FOR SERVICE AND WAS INFORMED THE SEATBELT COULD NOT BE FIXED BECAUSE THE PART NEEDED WAS DISCONTINUED. THE AIRBAG LIGHT WAS DIAGNOSED AS A PROBLEM WITH THE WIRE HARNESSES. THE DAY AFTER GETTING MY CAR BACK FROM BEING REPAIRED, THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS BACK ON. IT CAME ON ONCE I STARTED THE CAR. IT NOW COMES ON INTERMITTENTLY WHILE DRIVING, SOMETIMES DOES NOT GO OFF UNTIL THE CAR IS OFF.

IN ADDITION, THE AIR BAG AND SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED CONTINUOUSLY. BINGHAMTON CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE LOCATED AT (1279 UPPER, FRONT ST, BINGHAMTON, NY 13901) WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURES. THE CONTACT WAS PROVIDED THE COST FOR THE VEHICLE TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 87,000.

TODAY MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON SO I TOOK IT TO AUTO ZONE AND HAD THE CODES READ ADN IT CAME UP WITH THE FOLLOWING P0520 ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR/SWITCH CIRCUIT AND CODE U0140 LOST COMMUNICATION WITH BODY CONTROL MODULE.
I CONTINUE TO HAVE A SERVICE AIRBAG ERROR ON MY DASHBOARD. I HAVE REPORTED TO IT TO THE DODGE DEALERSHIP AND THEY ARE UNABLE TO ASSIST UNLESS A FEE FOR DIAGNOSTICS AND A FEE TO FIX THE ISSUE WHEN IT'S CLEARLY A SAFETY MATTER. TODAY I HAD A REPAIR AT THE DEALERSHIP DUE TO A RECALL (V34) TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE. I AM STILL EXPERIENCING ISSUES WITH THE SHIFTING OF MY GEARS. SERVICE AIRBAG SYSTEM MESSAGE DISPLAYS WHEN YOU START THE CAR AND DRIVE IT IT DOES NOT GO OFF
WHEN A PASSENGER IS SITTING IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE WITH THE SEAT BELT CONNECTED, THE VEHICLE IS ILLUMINATED A WARNING LIGHT SAYING PASSENGER SEAT U BUCKLED. THIS IS ALSO CAUSING A "SERVICE AIRBAG SYSTEM" TO APPEAR IN THE DASH ALONG WITH THE WARNING LIGHT BEING ILLUMINATED. THE PROBLEM WAS FIRST OBSERVED WHEN A PASSENGER SAT IN MY FRONT PASSENGER SEAT, VEHICLE WAS NOT IN MOTION WHEN THE LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND CONTINUED TO STAY ILLUMINATED WHILE DRIVING.
THE SEATBELT SENSOR IN MY VEHICLE SEEMS TO NEVER GO OFF, A MECHANIC TOOK A LOOK AND SAID THE SEAT BELT SENSOR WAS BAD, HOW AT 61000 MILES IS MY SEATBELT SENSOR BAD? I'VE HAD TWO OPINIONS AND AFTER TALKING TO A DODGE REPRESENTATIVE I WAS TOLD I'D HAVE TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE SEATBELT SYSTEM OUT OF POCKET. SO HOW IS IT DODGE USES A CHEAP PART AND I'M RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MESS UP FROM THE COMPANY

THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE NECK AND LEFT THUMB MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS RECEIVED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE OTHER DRIVER ALSO SOUGHT MEDICAL ATTENTION FOR THEIR UNKNOWN INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN IMPOUND LOT AND DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
ONE DAY I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND I RECEIVED A NOTIFICATION TO 'SERVICE AIR BAG' AND MY CAR SHOWS THE PASSENGER SEATBELT ISN'T BUCKLED, EVEN WHEN IT IS. THIS CAUSES MY CAR TO MAKE NOISES AT ME THE WHOLE TIME I'M DRIVING. IT HAS ALSO RAISED CONCERNED OF WHETHER MY AIRBAGS ARE FUNCTIONING, AND IF I AND ANYONE WHO RIDES WITH ME IS SAFE DRIVING/RIDING IN THIS CAR.. I JUST HAD THE BUSHING FOR THE SHIFTER CABLE REPAIRED.. NOW ANOTHER DANGEROUS SITUATION WITH MY DART.
CAR IS GIVING CODE B0052-13 AND IS TURNING OFF AIR BAG AND SHOWING SRS CODE WITH SEATBELT OFF CODE FOR PASSENGER AIR BAG. SEATBELT IS FAULTY AND NOT COVERED UNDER ANY FACTORY WARRANTY. MY CONCERN IS IF MY CAR IS IN AN ACCIDENT MY PASSENGER WILL NOT BE PROTECTED AND COULD CAUSE BODILY INJURIES.
