WHEN I GET GAS IT DOESN'T MATTER IF I HAVE A LITTLE GAS OR HALF A TANK MY GAS AS I'M PUMPING ALWAYS COMES OUT AND BACKFIRES AT ME ....IT JUST STARTS SPITTING OUT AT ME FOR NO REASON... EVEN WHEN I'M EMPTY AND I START PUMPING GAS IT HAPPENS AFTER ABOUT 10 SECONDS OF PUMPING GAS IT JUST DECIDES TO COME BACK AT ME.. SO I'M WASTING GAS ALL THE TIME IT HAPPENS ABOUT EVERY FOURTH TIME I GET GAS....
GAS GUSHES OUT OF THE FILL TUBE WHEN THE TANK BECOMES FULL. IT DOESN'T SEEM TO MATTER HOW FAST OR SLOW THE TANK IS FILLED. WHEN FULL, THE AUTOMATIC NOZZLE DOES SHUT OFF BUT ONLY AFTER GAS HAS SPURTED OUT AND RUNS DOWN THE FENDER. I NEED TO EMPHASIZE THAT THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM THAT HAPPENS OVER AND OVER AGAIN. THE MOST RECENT DATE IS LISTED BELOW.

THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.
WHEN FILLING UP FUEL TANK, A WAVE OF FUEL IS SPILLED OUT EVERY TIME.
MY 2005 DODGE DURANGO 5.7 4WD HEMI, HAS BEEN KICKING ITSELF INTO 4 WD, 4 LO AND EVEN NEUTRAL WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. THE CAR WILL BE OFF AND YOU CAN HEAR MECHANICAL MECHANISMS AT WORK. THE VEHICLE GOING INTO NEUTRAL HAS HAPPENED ONLY WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND THE THE OTHER SHIFTS HAPPEN ALL THE TIME NO MATTER WHAT THE VEHICLE IS DOING PARKED DRIVING OR NO KEY.
THE TRANSFER CASE IS CHANGING FROM ALL WHEEL DRIVE INTO FOUR WHEEL DRIVE HIGH AND LOW BY ITSELF AT RANDOM. IT FIRST HAPPENED TO MY 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. SHE WAS DRIVING 65 MPH WHEN THE TRANSFER CASE SWITCHED ON ITS ON. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A HORRIBLE ACCIDENT. DODGE SAYS THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS ISSUE. THIS NEEDS TO BE A RECALL. THIS IS A SERIOUS ISSUE. YOUR VEHECILE'S TRANSFER CASE MOVING ALL BY ITSELF. WHEN THE VEHECILE IS PARKED YOU CAN HEAR THE TRANSFER CASE MOTOR ACTUATING WITH NOTHING ON. CAR PARKED. THIS ISSUE IS ALL OVER THE INTERNET WITH NO ANSWERS AND DODGE KNOWS NOTHING OR IS PRETENDING TO. THIS IS BIG. DANGEROUS ISSUE. PLEASE ISSUE A RECALL [XXX]. [XXX]. THA CAR IS PARKED UNTIL. FUEL SPITS BACK AT END OF REFUELING. DEALER MENTIONED A RECALL ON THE INLET CHECK VALVE BUT THAT MY VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THAT RECALL. IT SHOULD BE. IT IS THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. IT IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE WHEN A GUSH OF FUEL SPLATTERS ALL OVER THE ATTENDANT, MY CAR AND THE GROUND EVERY TIME I FILL UP.
SHIFTING INTO 4 WHEEL DRIVE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD ON ITS OWN AND THEN BACK INTO LOW 4 WHEN BACKING UP ON ITS OWN ALL TYPES OF STREETS MOVING

WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH, THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE BEGAN TO SHRED, WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO LEAN SUDDENLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S HOME. THE CONTACT NOTIFIED FIRESTONE COMPLETE AUTO CARE (301 OAK SPRING RD, WASHINGTON, PA 15301, (724) 250-8251) OF THE FAILURE, BUT THE TIRE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPLACED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE FAILURE MIEAGE WAS 133,000 AND THE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 500.
WHEN FILLING THE TANK UP WITH FUEL, RATHER THAN STOPPING AUTOMATICALLY, THE NOZZLE CLICKS AND FUEL BURPS OUT ONTO THE VEHICLE AND THE GROUND. THIS HAPPENS WHEN STATIONARY AT A GAS STATION FILLING UP WITH FUEL. I BELIEVE THIS MAY BE THE COMMON ISSUE WITH THE FUEL TANK FILLER INLET CHECK VALVE OR FUEL TANK FILLER. EACH ARE COMMON RECALLS FOUND ON THE NHTSA WEBSITE UNDER THIS SPECIFIC VEHICLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE DURANGO. WHILE DRIVING OVER 55 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION SUDDENLY SHIFTED INTO FOUR LOW, WHICH CAUSED THE SPEED TO ABRUPTLY DECELERATE TO APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.
WHEN FUELING WITH FUEL AT THE END IF NOT STOOPED REGULATORY TO ALLOW THE FUEL TO EMPTY INTO THE TANK THE FUEL WILL COME OUT OF THE FILLING HOLE AND KEEP GOING UNTIL YOU STOP THE FUEL PUMP. ONCE YOU STOP THE FUEL P[UMP IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 3 SEC TO STOP COMING OUT BUT UNTIL THEN YOU WILL HAVE ABOUT 1 QUART TO HALF A GALLON OF FUEL ALL OVER THE SIDE OF THE DURANGO, TIRE, AND GROUND
WHILE DRIVING, SVC AWD LIGHT COMES ON, THEN GOES OUT. NO PROBLEM THERE BUT THAT IS ONLY THE BEGINNING. IN A SLOW HARD TURN ON REVERSE, THE WHEELS SEEM TO BIND UP WITH AN UNCONTROLLED LOCK INTO FOUR WHEEL DRIVE. WITH MY RESEARCH INTO THIS PROBLEM, I DISCOVERED MANY OTHER PEOPLE WITH THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. 72 PAGES OF THE SAME COMPLAINT !! SOME EVEN TELL THE OF CAR SHIFTING INTO 4 WHEEL DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAY SLOWING THE CAR INTO DANGEROUSLY SLOW SPEED . I TRACED COMPLAINTS BACK TO 2004 , ALL DEAL WITH THE TRANSFER CASE SHIFT MOTOR OR THE WIRING CONTROLLING IT. ALSO RELATED TO THE A/C CONNECTION, OR THE AWD, 4 HIGH AND 4 LOW LOCK SWITCH. I EXPERIENCED THE SHIFT INTO FOUR WHEEL DRIVE IN SLOW SPEED TURNING AND BACKING BUT TO HAVE IT SHIFT INTO 4 LO LOCK DURING DRIVING HAS ME AFRAID TO DRIVE IT AT ALL. OVER 350 COMPLAINTS OF THE SAME PROBLEM, WITH ONLY ONE WEB SITE SOUNDS LIKE A MAJOR DESIGN PROBLEM THAT DODGE HAS NOT ADDRESSED AT ALL. FYI I BOUGHT THIS CAR USED AT KOCH 33 DEALER AND THEY DID NOT DISCLOSE THE PROBLEM IN ADVANCED. THANKS RICH
WHILE I AM PUMPING GAS IT STARTS TO COME BACK OUT AND IT'S SPITS OUT . EVEN WHEN I PULL THE GAS PUMP OUT TO STOP THE GAS IT STILL CONTINUES TO SPIT THE GAS. THIS HAPPENS NO MATTER IF I AM EMPTY OR IF I HAVE SOME GAS IN MY TANK
4 LO LIGHT FLASHING. SERVICE 4WD LIGHT FLASHING. SHIFTED TO 4 LO ON ITS OWN. STUCK IN 4 LO. HAVE TO UNPLUG TRANSFER CASE TO DRIVE VEHICLE. BACK WHEELS LOCKED UP. THIS HAPPENS IN A PARKING LOT AFTER TURNING CAR OFF AND USING KEY TO FOB TO LOCK DOORS. LIGHTS FLASH GOING DOWN HIGHWAY AND ON CITY STREETS AT ALL SPEEDS. CAR WILL MAKE SHIFTING NOISES WHEN TURNED OFF IN PARK AND KEY REMOVED.
WHEN YOU FILL THE TANK UP, AT LEAST A GALLON OR MORE OF FUEL SPITS BACK OUT AND RUNS ONTO THE GROUND WITH NO WAY TO CLEAN THE GAS UP
2005 DODGE DURANGO LIMITED 5.7. MY DURANGO LOCKS ITS SELF INTO 4X4 ON IT'S OWN. I CANT DISENGAGE IT. THIS HAPPENS EITHER SITTING STILL OR DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. I HAVE CARRIED IT TO THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND THEY CHARGED ME $2210+TAX TO FIX THE ISSUE. THEY SAID IT WAS THE FRONT CONTROL MODULE AND THE WIRING HARNESS. I GOT MY TRUCK BACK AND IT WAS STILL LOCKING IN 4X4. I CARRIED IT BACK AND THEY SAID THE WIRING HARNESS IS DISCONTINUED SO THEY REPAIRED THE WIRE TO THE TRANSFERCASE AND THEY SAID WHEN THEY FIX A WIRE IT CAUSES ANOTHER TO GO OUT SO THEY FIXED IT ONCE AGAIN AND SAID I CAN NO LONGER USE THE WARRANTY ON IT BECAUSE IT WILL ONLY CONTINUE TO HAPPEN AND THEY WILL HAVE TO START CHARGING ME EVERY TIME BUT WHEN I GOT IT BACK I WENT TO THE GAS STATION AND IT LOCKED IN 4X4 WHEN I WAS TURNING INTO TRAFFIC WHICH CAUSED ME TO TURN WIDE CAUSING ME TO PULL INTO ON COMING TRAFFIC ALMOST HAVING A HEAD ON COLLISION. I NEED THIS PROBLEM RESOLVED. THIS HAPPENS ON CITY STREETS AND HIGHWAY, IT CAN OCCUR SITTING STILL OR MOVING.
RANDOMLY STALLS DURING TURNS OR COASTING
TAKATA RECALL # 16V-352 MANUFACTURER RECALL #543 REGARDING THE FAILURE OF AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT EFFECTING BY EXTREME HUMITY
FIRE HAZARD. GASOLINE FUME AFTER TURNING OFF ENGINE. FUEL LINE WILL LOSE PRESSURE AFTER SITTING 24HRS AND HARD INITIAL STARTING. ENGINE RUN FINE. NO LEAK DETECTED ON LONG DRIVE. AFTER SEVERAL SHORT TRIPS, ENOUGH LEAKING GAS WILL POOL ON TOP OF GAS TANK AND SPILL OVER PASSENGER SIDE AND REAR OF GAS TANK. GAS LEAK FROM THE PLASTIC HOUSING OF OEM FUEL PUMP. FUEL PUMP WAS REPLACED AT OWNERS EXPENSE. CORE CHARGE ON NEW FUEL PUMP INDICATE THAT THE OLD FUEL PUMP IS BEING REBUILT AND SMALL LEAKS WILL NOT BE DETECTED FROM THE REBUILT UNIT.
2005 DODGE DURANGO LTD WITH A 5.7L HEMI. STALLS OUT IN TRAFFIC OFTEN WHEN IT RAINS WHETHER STATIONARY OR MOVING. ACCORDING TO PEOPLE ON YOUTUBE, THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BY THE MANUFACTURER. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON A FEW OCCASIONS, BUT I AM REPORTING THE MOST RECENT. THE PROBLEM IS THAT WATER DRAINS ONTO THE MANIFOLD AND SOMEHOW CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO STALL.

ALSO, WHENEVER THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE WAS ENGAGED, A LOUD CLUNKING NOISE WAS HEARD. FURTHERMORE, THE AIR BAG INDICATOR WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO FAMILY CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (215-492-8600, LOCATED AT 6735 ESSINGTON AVE, PHILADELPHIA, PA 19153), BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V352000 (AIR BAGS). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 166,000. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
FUEL SHOOTS OUT OF THE FILLER EVERYTIME FUEL IS ADDED. ABOUT 20 GALLONS INTO THE 27 TANK IS WHEN THIS HAPPENS. IT'S NOT ONCE OR TWICE, BUT EVERYTIME I FILL UP.

THE FAILURES WERE EXPERIENCED SEVERAL TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO BELIEVED THAT THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE ENGAGED INDEPENDENTLY DUE TO AN ELECTRICAL SWITCH FAILURE. THE CONTACT INSPECTED THE VEHICLE HIMSELF AND BELIEVED THAT THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE ENGAGED INDEPENDENTLY DUE TO A FAILURE IN THE WIRING HARNESS BEHIND THE DASHBOARD. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE HEATER BLOWER MOTOR FAILED. THE HEATER BLOWER MOTOR REMAINED ON THE HIGH SETTING. THE CONTACT REPLACED THE HEATER PANEL HIMSELF, BUT IT DID NOT CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 167,000.
EVERY TIME I PUT GAS IN THE TANK IT SPILLS OUT AT THE END OF REFUELING ALL OVER THE CAR AND GROUND.
IT SWITCHES INTO 4 HIGH AND 4 LOW ALL BY ITS SELF. THE VEHICLE CAN BE OFF FOR HOURS AND IT STILL WILL DO IT. THE SCARY THING IS IT WILL SHIFT LIKE THAT WHILE DELIVERING AS WELL. VERY DANGEROUS, AND LUCKY THERE WAS NOT ANOTHER VEHICLE EITHER COMING TOWARDS ME OR BEHIND ME, CUZ I LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND I AN SURE A INCOMING CAR WOULD OF KILL EVERYONE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO JSTAR MOTORS (8200 CRYSTAL DR, ANAHEIM, CA 92807, (866) 906-0586) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL TANK NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS EXPERIENCING THE SAME SYMPTOMS LISTED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 09V003000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 145,000.
WHEN ATTEMPTING TO RE-FUEL, IMMEDIATE BACKFLOW/DISCHARGE OF FUEL CAUSING HAZARD. THIS OCCURS EVEN WHEN FUEL TANK IS BELOW 1/4 TANK LEVEL. RE-FUELING MUST BE DONE AT A VERY SLOW RATE TO REDUCE NUMBER OF BACKLOW DISCHARGES THAT OCCUR DURING A SINGLE RE-FUELING SESSION.
THE AWD ENGAGES AND DISENGAGES ALL ON ITS OWN. IT CAN ENGAGE IN THE MIDDLE OF TURNING WHICH LOCKS UP THE FRONT WHEELS, IT ALSO ENGAGES WHEN YOU LOCK / UNLOCK THE CAR. I FIND IT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. IT ALSO SAID SERVICE 4WD ALL THE TIME. THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL AS THERE ARE MANY PAGES ONLINE OF PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM.
THE VEHICLE BEGAN MAKING A CLICKING SOUND AFTER TURNING THE KEY OFF AND REMOVING THE KEY. IT SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS TRYING TO LOCK INTO 4-WHEEL DRIVE MODE. I STUCK MY KEY BACK IN AND TURNED IT TO JUST BEFORE STARTING ENGINE TO SEE IF ANY DASH LIGHTS COME IN AND THE SVC LIGHT FLASHED ONCE. WHEN I'VE TURNED THE IGNITION ON BUT LET IT IN PARK I HEAR THE SAME CLICKING SOUND. I'VE TURNED THE KNOB THAT CHANGES MODE FROM 4LO, 4X4, AND AWD BUT THIS CHANGED NOTHING. I WAS TOLD THE SOUND COMES FROM THE TRANSFER CASE MOTOR BUT NONE OF THE LOCAL DEALERSHIPS CAN FIND ANYTHING WRONG. PLEASE INVESTIGATE SEVERAL OF THE ON-LINE FORUMS ARE FULL OF THESE SAME TYPE OF ISSUES WITH THE SAME MAKE, MODEL, AND YEAR AS MINE; AND EVEN WITH THE SAME DEALERSHIP ACT OF IGNORANCE ISSUES I EXPERIENCED.

RESULTS IN LOSE OF ABILITY TO STEER, BREAKS, AND SPEED. HAVE TO PUT THE DURANGO IN PARK ONCE IT ROLLS TO A STOP THAN CUT IT OFF AND BACK ON FOR IT TO WORK AGAIN. SOMETIMES IT WILL GO 25 MILES WITH OUT PROBLEM AT OTHER TIMES 5 FEET. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AND TOOK TO AN AUTOMOTIVE SHOP AND NO CODES READING ON THE DIAGNOSTIC COMPUTER. STALLS WHILE MOVING ON HIGHWAYS, DIRT ROADS, & INTERSTATES!

THE LOCAL DODGE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OF THE AIR BAG FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. I HAD TAKEN MY DODGE DURANGO FOR A RECALL ON AIR BAG AND THEY REPLACED.. MY DURANGO WAS SERVICED ON 2/23/2018 WITH REGULAR UPKEEP STUFF LIKE NEW BATTERY, OIL CHANGE, ECT. ABOUT A WEEK LATER, MY RPMS WOULD JUMP AND DROP WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY. ON 3/10/2018, I STARTED MY CAR AND DROVE A FEW BLOCKS AND IT DID JUST FINE, LATER THAT EVENING, I DROVE ABOUT 4 BLOCKS AND MY ENGINE DIED. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, I WAS ABLE TO START RIGHT BACK UP AND MAKE IT ABOUT A BLOCK BEFORE IT DIED AGAIN, ABLE TO RESTART IT AND MAKE IT HOME BEFORE MY ENGINE DIED AGAIN. I TOOK IT TO THE SHOP AND THEY TOLD ME THAT NO CODES COULD BE PULLED AND THAT MY CAR WAS SHORTING OUT DUE TO MY RADIATOR AND WATER PUMP. WE REPLACED THOSE AND MY THERMOSTAT AND THEY SAID IT SHOULD BE FINE. DROVE THE CAR ABOUT 15 MILES OR LESS AND IT DIED AGAIN. SO I TOOK IT TO THE NEXT SHOP AND THEY COULD NOT TELL ME ANYTHING BECAUSE IT NEVER DIED OR ACTED UP IN THEIR CARE. SO THEY TOLD ME TO DRIVE IT UNTIL IT DOES IT AGAIN. THE [XXX] THING DIED TWO BLOCKS AWAY FROM THE SHOP. THE GUYS AT THE SHOP TOLD ME TO GO FILL UP MY GAS TANK AND PUT FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER IN IT. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS MAKING IT HOME OR TO WORK THE NEXT DAY. I WAS HEADED TO LUNCH THE NEXT DAY AND IT DIES BEFORE I EVEN LEAVE THE WORK PARKING LOT. I DRIVE HOME AND IT DIES TWICE, ALL ABLE TO START RIGHT BACK UP. I LIVE MAYBE 5 MINUTES AWAY FROM MY JOB AND MY GAS TANK WENT FROM FULL TO HALF A TANK JUST BY GOING TO WORK AND HOME. TODAY, I LEFT WORK AND MADE IT A COUPLE OF BLOCKS FROM HOME WHEN IT DIED AND WOULD NOT START BACK UP!! I HAD TO TOW MY CAR HOME. THE DODGE HOUSE SAYS ITS 150.00 DOLLARS TO JUST PULL THE CAR INTO THEIR BAYS AND WHEN IT DOESN'T SHOW CODES OR THE ENGINE LIGHT IS NOT ON, THEY CAN NOT DO ANY THING FURTHER AND SEND ME ON MY WAY. THEY OBVIOUSLY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS DEATH TRAP AND THEY NEED TO FIX IT. THE TRANSFER CASE MAKE CLICKING COUNTS WHEN DRIVING AND WHILE CAR IS IDLE. IT ALSO MAKES THESE CLICKING NOISES WHILE THE CAR IS OFF PUTTING THE CAR INTO 4 LO ON ITS OWN. THE CAR WILL SOMETIMES SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING LOW SPEEDS AND ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A TURN. THE BATTERY DIES FREQUENTLY AFTER A WEEK OF NOT IS USE.

WHEN I GOT OUT OF MY CAR I COULD HEAR MY CAR TRYING TO SHIFT FROM 4LO/4HI/AWD. I HAD TO CALL MY HUSBAND TO COME HOME TO GET MY CAR OFF THE STREET. IN LOOKING UP THIS MATTER ONLINE, THERE SEEMS TO BE ALOT OF ISSUES WITH THIS AND SEEMS TO BE A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE WHEN YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT YOUR CAR SHIFTING FROM AWD TO 4LO OR 4HI - THANKFULLY, I WAS NOT ON THE HIGHWAY GOING 55. WE WERE ABLE TO GET IT TO THE MECHANIC AND YOU CAN HEAR IT TRYING TO SHIFT WHEN THE VEHICLE IS OFF - NO KEY OR ANYTHING - WOW! MECHANIC SAID I WAS VERY LUCKY. I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST SOMEONE LOOKING INTO THIS ISSUE, IT SEEMS TO BE A PRETTY WIDELY KNOWN ISSUE.

AFTER COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP AT A STOP SIGN AND ALLOWING CHILDREN TO CROSS IN THE CROSSWALK, MY VEHICLE TRY'S TO ACCELERATE/JUMP FORWARD EVEN THOUGH MY FOOT HAS THE BRAKE PEDAL COMPLETELY PUSHED DOWN. THE SCHOOLS IN MY TOWN GET PACKED WITH TRAFFIC AND YOU HAVE TO KINDA OF STOP AND GO AT A SLOW PACE FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME. MY 2005 DODGE DURANGO TRY'S TO NUDGE FORWARD ON ITS OWN WHEN SLOWLY STOPPING AND GOING IN TRAFFIC. VERY DANGEROUS FOR THIS TO BE HAPPENING AROUND ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS WITH CHILDREN AROUND. I HOPE THIS KNOWN SAFETY ISSUE IS ABLE TO BE RESOLVED. IT IS A AWD CAR BUT SOMETIME THE 4LO LIGHT COMES ON WITH A VERY ANNOYING NOISE FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE CAR OR ENGINE, THEN THE SPEED BEING SLOWED DOWN SIGNIFICANTLY, THE CAR BECOMES HARD TO KEEP GOING. THE STREAKING SOUND AND THE SPEED BEING REDUCED LIKE THE BREAK BEING STEPPED ON ABRUBTLY MAKES ME PULL OVER FOR SAFETY.
