MY VECHILE DID EVERYTHING UNDER THE T36 RECALL AND DEALERSHIP IS TRYING TO STICK ME WITH THE REPAIR BILL AFTER FAC TOLD TO TAKE MY VECHILE IN DUE TO T36 RECALL REPAIRS SAYING MY VIN DOESN'T FALL UNDER THE RECALL ON A 2012 DODGE DURANGO CITADEL UT EXPERIENCE EVERYTHING IN THE RECALL I JUST PURCHASED THE VECHILE NOT EVEN A YEAR AGO
I WAS TRAVELING AT A SPEED OF 55 BRAKING TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN AND I EXPERIENCED SUDDEN ALTERNATOR FAILURE, THE BATTERY LIGHT CAME UP ON DASH FOLLOWED BY RADIO SHUTTING OFF THEN ALL THE LIGHT CAME ON AS A LOSS OF POWER AND VECHILE STALLING, WASN'T ABLE TO START THE CAR OR JUMP IT OFF DRAINED MY BATTERY, WITH SMOKE AND A SMELL AS IF WIRE WAS BURNING HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED CAUSE WASN'T DRIVABLE AND WOULDN'T GO IN GEAR, CONTACTED FCA WAS TOLD TO TAKE IT TO NEAREST DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS UNDER T36 RECALL ONCE REPAIRS WERE DONEWAS TOLD THAT MY VIN ISNT IN THE RECALL BUT EXPERIENCED THE SAME AS T36 RECALL ALTERNATOR SHORTING OUT AND FAILURE NOW STUCK WITH REPAIR BILLS AS WELL AS 2 TOWE BILLS
FUEL PUMP RELAY RECALL STILL NOT FIXED. THIS IS ONE OF THE VEHICLES THAT IS FAILING. IT IS A DANGER TO DRIVE. IT STALLS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD, TAKES A VERY LONG TIME TO START. WHEN IT STALLS THE BRAKING FAILS (MY MAIN CONCERN). CONTACTED CHRYSLER MULTIPLE TIMES AND THEY TELL ME KEEP DRIVING THE CAR, NO FIX ANYTIME SOON. THE RECALLL STARTED LAST YEAR. A DEADLINE OR ANOTHER TEMPORARY VEHICLE SHOULD REALLY BE PUT IN PLACE.
VEHICLE HAS STALLED MULTIPLE TIMES. EITHER RIGHT AFTER START UP OR WHILE DRIVING. IN ALL CASES I HAVE FOUND THAT THE 20 AMP FUSE THAT WAS INSTALLED FOR RECALL R09 FROM 2015 IS MELTING AND CAUSING THE FUEL PUMP RELAY TO FAIL WHICH IS CAUSING THE STALL CONDITION. THE FUSE IS EASILY REPLACED BUT THE STALLING IS BECOMING MORE AND MORE FREQUENT, HAPPENING AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK. DODGE SAYS THERE IS NO REMEDY FOR THIS AND THERE ARE NO PARTS TO JUST REPLACE THE CURRENT SET UP. SO NOW I AM STUCK WITH THIS ISSUE UNTIL DODGE FIGURES OUT WHAT IS WRONG. EACH INSTANCE OF STALLING HAS OCCURED AT 25 MPH OR LESS BUT ITS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE IT HAPPENS AT A HIGHER SPEED.

THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE DEALER WOULD NOT PERFORM THE REPAIR SUGGESTED BY THE MANUFACTURER. THE CONTACT THEN REACHED OUT COURTESY MOTOR SALES INC (3100 PLEASANT VALLEY BLVD, ALTOONA, PA 16602) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE DEALER WOULD PERFORM THE INTERIM REPAIR ON THE VEHICLE. AN APPOINTMENT WAS NOT YET SCHEDULED FOR THE INTERIM REPAIR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000. THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE WAS ATTRIBUTED TO THE FUEL PUMP FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS NOTIFIED OF A REPAIR USING AN AFTERMARKET PART HOWEVER, THE PART WAS NOT APPROVED BY THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURER. THE CONTACT AGREED TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED USING THE AFTERMARKET PART. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT HE WAS ELIGIBLE FOR REIMBURSEMENT IF THE REPAIR WAS PAID FOR OUT OF POCKET. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. INITIALLY QUOTED $4700 TO REPAIR, THEN TOLD DODGE WOULD NOT WARRANTY THE WORK DUE TO POSSIBILITY OF METAL SHAVINGS IN ENGINE. RECOMMENDED ENGINE REPLACEMENT FOR $10,000. *TR

IT TOOK 30 MINUTES FOR MY HUSBAND TO CRANK MY CAR. HE HAD TO TAP ON RELAYS IN THE FUSE BOX TO GET IT GOING. THE CAR WAS PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY AND HAD NOT BEEN DRIVEN SINCE THE PRIOR EVENING. WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP TO ASK ABOUT RECALL AND THEY SAID CHRYSLER HAD NOT COME UP WITH A FIX YET. SO THE QUESTION IS. WHAT DO WE DO IF WE KEEP HAVING ISSUES?

THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER FRONTAL AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. MY VEHICLE STALLS AFTER STARTING THEN CONTINUOUSLY TURNS OVER UNTIL I PUSH THE IGNITION BUTTON MULTIPLE TIMES UNTIL IT TURNS OFF. I HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE SINCE APRIL OF 2018. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER MULTIPLE TIMES FOR THIS WITH NO REPAIR AVAILABLE. NOW THERE IS A RECALL ISSUED ON THE FUEL RELAY SWITCH(WHICH WAS FIXED A FEW YEARS AGO FOR THE SAME PROBLEM.) AND AGAIN NO REPAIR AVAILABLE. THIS IS VERY UNSAFE AND QUITE EMBARRASSING WHEN I AM TRYING TO START MY VEHICLE. HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO WAIT?
MY 2012 DODGE DURANGO HAS LOST ALL POWER WHILE I HAVE BEEN DRIVING IT. TODAY IS THE 4TH TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED IN ABOUT 2 MONTHS. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING AND WITHOUT ANY WARNING THE CAR STOPS RUNNING AND ALL ELECTRICAL IS GONE, MY DASH IS BLANK. I WAS ALMOST IN AN ACCIDENT TODAY. I PULLED OUT ON A BUSY STREET AND LOST ALL POWER. UPON INVESTIGATION THE CONTACT ASSOCIATED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V435000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) WITH THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V435000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 96,000.

INTAKE MANIFOLD LEAK AT 65,470 MILES. LEAK AT MANIFOLD NEAR BACK OF ENGINE AT THROTTLE BODY. CAUSED ENGINE TO LEAK OIL AND COOLANT WHICH CAN CAUSE FIRE OR ENGINE TO BLOW. DEALER REPAIRED AND REPLACED INTAKE MANIFOLD AND PCS VALVE.

The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Durango. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V813000 (Electrical System) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact called two local dealers and was informed that she would receive a call back whenever an appointment was available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. ENGINE HAS CUTOUT (TURNS OFF) WHILE DRIVING ON 4 OCCASIONS. ON ALL FOUR OCCASIONS IT HAS OCCURRED WHILE I WAS EXITING A ROAD/RAMP. WHEN VEHICLE CUTS OUT POWER STEERING ALSO DOES NOT WORK. IN ALL OCCASIONS I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PULL OFF THE ROAD OR STOP BEFORE THE ROAD ENDS. THE VEHICLE THEN STARTS RIGHT BACK UP AND FUNCTIONS PROPERLY. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS HAVE COME ON.

I PURCHASED MY 2012 DODGE DURANGO, USED, WITH APPROXIMATELY 75K MILES. SINCE PURCHASING THE VEHICLE, I'VE EXPERIENCED NUMEROUS PROBLEMS THAT BEGAN WITH THE TRANSMISSION. ADDITIONALLY, THE CAR GOES INTO "LOW GEAR" EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T TURN THE KNOB. OVER THE PAST YEAR, THE CAR HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP MORE TIMES THAN I CAN COUNT FOR THE DOORS LOCKING AND UNLOCKING ON THEIR OWN. I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO LOCK THE DOORS WHEN IN PUBLIC. MY KEY FOB HASN'T WORKED EVEN AFTER REPLACING THE BATTERY INSIDE. THE CAR HAS SET THE ALARM OFF EVEN WHEN UNPROMPTED. IT WILL LOCK/UNLOCK WHILE DRIVING.THE CAR HAS STALLED, WHILE DRIVING, AT LEAST 3 TIMES SINCE NOVEMBER 2019. FOR EACH OCCURRENCE, THE VEHICLE WAS SLOWING/EXCELLING WITH A TRAFFIC LIGHT OR TO TURN INTO A PARKING LOT. ON ONE OCCASION, THE CAR WOULD NOT CRANK OVER AND A RED LIGHT WAS BLINKING ON THE DASH. THE LOCK ISSUE BEGAN HAPPENING AGAIN AND I COULD NOT GET IT STARTED. IT HAD BEEN STATIONARY. WHEN I CAME BACK TO THE VEHICLE LATER, IT WORKED FINE WITH NO RED LIGHT. THE MECHANICS NOTICED THE TEMPERAMENTAL PROBLEMS BUT COULD NOT GET THE VEHICLE TO CONSISTENTLY REPEAT THE PROBLEM. I'VE ALSO REPLACED THE WATER PUMP AND HAD ISSUES WITH THE AIR CONDITIONING. AT THIS MOMENT, IT DOESN'T WANT TO WORK FOR THE DRIVER'S SPOT ONLY.

DEALER THEN RE-COMPLETED THE FUEL PUMP RELAY RECALL, PROBLEM STILL NOT FIX. NOW THE VEHICLE IS STALLING WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND SEEMS TO HAPPEN WHEN YOU TURN THE STEERING WHEEL. THERE IS A RECALL FOR THIS ISSUE (T36) BUT DODGE IS SAYING THAT MY VEHICLE DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR THAT RECALL. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS ISSUE AND IS CAN/WILL LEAD TO A VEHICLE ACCIDENT WHEN WE CAN'T CONTROL THE VEHICLE GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AS IT KEEPS SHUTTING OFF.

VEHICLE STARTED HAVE A TICKING NOISE. SO I TOOK IT TO DEALER. DEALER STATES I NEED NEW ENGINE DOE TO HAVEING METAL SHAVINGS IN ENGINE OIL. VEHICLE HAS 136000 MILES ON IT THE OIL HAVE BEEN CHANGED EVERY 3000 MILES DEALER WON'T HELP WITH THIS ISSUE AND DON'T WANT 8600 FOR NEW ENGINE. THERE ARE A MANY PEOPLE WITH THIS ISSUE
TWICE IN THREE YEARS TIME THE UPPER RADIATOR HOSE HAS BEEN DESTROYED BY THE CLOSEST PULLEY ON THE ENGINE. WHEN INSTALLED CORRECTLY THERE IS LESS THAN 1 INCH OF CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE HOSE AND PULLEY. THIS SEEMS LIKE A VERY SERIOUS DESIGN FLAW ON THE HEMI 5.7.
