The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan equipped with Cooper Tires, Tire Line: Evolution Tour, Tire Size: 215/65/R16, DOT Number: (not available). The contact stated while driving 60 MPH, the driver’s side front tire experienced a blowout causing the steering wheel to shake. The contact was able to pull over safely and replace the tire. The failure reoccurred while driving however, the front passenger’s side the tire experienced the blowout. The dealer was contacted and stated that the tire was not under warranty. The manufacturer had been notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 112,393.
WHILE TRAVELING ON I-84 IN IDAHO THE TIRE TREAD SEPARATED FROM THE TIRE. THIS WAS THE SECOND TIRE TO FAIL. THE TIRES WERE COOPER CS5 GT 98T SERIAL NUMBER U96V1CW1617
AFTER EACH AND EVERY VEHICLE FUELING, THE VEHICLE STALLS SEVERAL TIMES CAUSING LOSS OF STEERING AND BRAKES. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND UNSAFE AS THIS SCENARIO HAPPENED TO ME AT AN INTERSECTION AND AT A TURN NEARLY CAUSING ME TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT. *TR
WHEVER I FILL UP THE GAS TANK, THE CAR STARTS TO STALL AND JERKS AND STOPS ALL THE WAY. IT DISPLAYS ENGINE LIGHT AND GOES INTO CRUISE MODE. I HAVE TO TURN IT OFF N BACK ON AND STILL JERKS UNTIL THE FUEL IS LITTLE EMPTY. WHEN I DON'T FILL IT FULL THEN IT DOESN'T DO THIS
MY 2007 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN SE CAN BE EASILY SHIFTED INTO GEAR WHILE IN AUXILIARY POWER, AND IT SOMETIMES LOCKS OUT MY BRAKES, AS THERE IS A LOCKED STEERING WHEEL YOU CAN'T STEER IT AND CAN'T TURN IT ON WITHOUT SHIFTING BACK TO PARK WHICH CAN BE DIFFICULT IF THE BRAKES LOCK. A CHILD COULD EASILY SET IT IN GEAR IF YOU ARE RUNNING THE AIR AND YOU LEAVE THE CAR BRIEFLY, I DO NOT HAVE KIDS BUT I DO RUN SOME TAXI WORK IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. IT COULD BE DONE ANYWHERE AS LONG AS IT'S IN AUXILIARY POWER TO RADIO AND ELECTRICS BUT NOT FULLY ON
AFTER ALMOST EVERY FILL UP VEHICLE STALLS WHEN GOING DOWN ROAD. AFTER RESEARCHING THE PROBLEM I FOUND THE VAPOR/LIQUID SEPARATOR VALVE IS DEFECTIVE. EVIDENTLY THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM AND A SAFETY ISSUE IN MY OPINION. TO BE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND YOUR VEHICLES SHUT DOWN IS DANGEROUS. WHY DOES THE MANUFACTURER NOT HAVE A RECALL ON THIS PROBLEM.

BRAKES PEDAL GOING TO THE FLOOR WHEN STOPPING AT INTERSECTION! THIS JUST OCCURRED OR STARTED YESTERDAY! I AM TAKING TO A MECHANIC IN THE MORNING TO EVALUATE.
WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH OR LESS FOR LESS THAN 5 MINUTES IN CITY TRAFFIC, MY RIGHT REAR TIRE BLEW OUT. FIRESTONE FR710. PURCHASED 11/30/15
AS I WAS DRIVING IN TOWN THE VEHICLE STARTED RUNNING VERY ROUGH, I PULLED OVER INTO A PARKING LOT AND THEN IT WOULDN'T RUN AT ALL. I HAD IT TOWED TO AN AUTO REPAIR PLACE. THEY REPLACED A SENSOR. THAT DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM, SO AFTER A FEW WEEKS THEY FINALLY DIAGNOSED IT AS NEEDING A VALVE JOB. I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE NEW IN 2007 AND HAD IT REGULARLY SERVICED.
TAKARA RECALL- MY VEHICLE WAS PARKED AT A STORE IN WAS WORKING IN, I WENT OUT TO TAKE A BREAK AND HAD THE SEAT WARMER ON HIGH BECAUSE MY BACK WAS HURTING. I STARTED SMELLING BURNING RUBBER, SO I TURNED IT OFF. UPON EXITING MY VEHICLE THERE WERE TWO HOLES BURNED INTO MY DRIVERS SEAT. I HAD USED THE SEAT WARMER NUMEROUS TIMES PRIOR TO THIS AND HAD NO PROBLEMS. I BELIEVE IF I HADN'T TURNED THE SEAT WARMER OFF MY VAN AND MYSELF PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BEEN ON FIRE.
AFTER FILLING THE FUEL TANK THE VEHICLE STALLS, AND SPUTTERS WHEN PULLING INTO TRAFFIC, AND DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD FOR UP TO 1 MINUTE
WHEN TURNING ON RIGHT TURN SIGNAL IT FLASHES AND SHUTS OFF WHILE THE SWITCH IS STILL ON. WHEN I SIGNAL LEFT IT DOESN'T WORK AT TIMES, ALL THIS HAPPENS WHILE THE VEHICLE IN IN MOTION ON THE ROAD. I TRIED CONTACTING DODGE AND THEY WERE NO HELP. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE AND COULD LEAD ME TO GET PULLED OVER OR IN AN ACCIDENT

THE FUSES WERE EXTREMELY HOT AND SMOKING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. ON OR ABOUT DECEMBER 2017, A 2007 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN WAS TRAVELING NB ON THE INTERSTATE AND WAS HIT FROM THE REAR BY A LARGER VEHICLE. BOTH THE DRIVER AND FRONT PASSENGER WERE WEARING THEIR SEAT BELTS AND TRAVELING 50-55 MPH. AFTER BEING IMPACTED FROM THE REAR, THE VEHICLE SPUN 360 DEGREES. AFTER THE SPIN, THE VAN WAS IMPACTED DIRECTLY HEAD ON, IN THE FRONT, ON THE PASSENGER SIDE, BY A 4 DOOR SEDAN. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY AND BOTH THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEAT BELTS FAILED TO LOCK THE OCCUPANTS TO THEIR SEATS. THIS SAFETY EQUIPMENT FAILURE ALLOWED SIGNIFICANT BODY MOVEMENTS OF BOTH THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER. IT CAUSED ABRUPT FORWARD AND BACKWARD MOTION OF THEIR HEADS, NECKS, BACKS, ARMS, LEGS AND TORSOS, RESULTING IN SIGNIFICANT PHYSICAL INJURY AND EMOTIONAL TRAUMA. THE DRIVER ACCOMPANIED THE FRONT PASSENGER TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM. PHYSICAL EXAMINATION AND X-RAY EVALUATIONS WERE PERFORMED BY A MEDICAL SPECIALIST. THE PASSENGER WAS DIAGNOSED WITH UPPER SPINE, HEAD AND NECK INJURIES WITH SIGNIFICANT MUSCLE PAIN AND SEVERE CONCUSSION. THE DRIVER HAD INJURIES TO HIS SHOULDER, NECK, KNEE, TORSO AND BACK AREAS WITH SIGNIFICANT MUSCLE PAIN. SUMMARY, HAD THE SEAT BELTS FUNCTIONED, AS WAS ADVERTISED AND DESIGNED BY THIS MANUFACTURER, BOTH PASSENGERS WOULD NOT HAVE SUSTAINED SUCH SEVERE PHYSICAL INJURIES, AND HAD THE AIR BAGS FUNCTIONED AND DEPLOYED, AS ADVERTISED AND DESIGNED, BY THE MANUFACTURER, THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN INJURED IN THIS IMPACT-COLLISION. HISTORY, THE DODGE GRAND CARAVAN OF PAST YEARS DESIGN INCLUDING THIS 2007 MODEL YEAR HAVE HAD SIMILAR AND REPEATED REPORTS OF SEAT BELT AND AIR BAG FAILURE. CONCLUSION, THIS MANUFACTURER KNEW OR SHOULD HAVE KNOWN OF THESE SAFETY DEFEATS, FROM PAST SETTLEMENT LITIGATION. THIS MANUFACTURER ALLEGEDLY HAS FAILED OR REFUSED TO CORRECT THESE ALLEGED INJURY CAUSING VEHICLE SEAT BELT AND AIR BAG DEFECTS.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE WARNING INDICATOR KEPT ILLUMINATING. THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED AGAIN BY MACDONALD MOTORS AUTO GROUP DEALER AND WAS DIAGNOSED AS A SEAT SENSOR FAILURE. THE CONTACT PURCHASED A USED SEAT FROM A SALVAGE YARD. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE WARNING INDICATOR WAS STILL ILLUMINATING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 113,000.
CAR STALLS AND SOMETIMES DIES AFTER REFUELING. THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS AFTER PULLING ONTO ROAD INTO TRAFFIC. SO FAR I HAVE AVOIDED BEING HIT BY ANOTHER CAR! THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR A LONG TIME. DEALER SAYS REPLACE FUEL TANK,POOR DESIGN.

THERE HAVE BEEN MANY MECHANICAL ISSUES (ELECTRICAL?) INCLUDING SLIDING DOORS THAT DO NOT WORK ANYMORE (THEY MUST BE CLOSED MANUALLY). BUT THE MAIN PROBLEM I WANT TO REPORT IS RUST. UNDER THE WHEELWELLS, UNDER THE SLIDING DOORS, ON THE BOTTOM OF THE TRUNK HATCH DOORS... IT'S RUSTING APART. FOR A 2007 VEHICLE THIS IS QUITE EXCESSIVE. I'VE ALSO NOTICED THAT OTHER DODGE GRAND CARAVANS OF THE SAME MARINE BLUE GREEN COLOR HAVE THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM. HAS THIS BEEN INVESTIGATED? RUSTING APART... AND IT'S BEEN HAPPENING FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS NOW. YOU WOULD THINK A VEHICLE WOULDN'T START TO HAVE NOTICEABLE AND PERVASIVE RUST IN 7 OR 8 YEARS TO THE POINT WHERE YOU ARE EMBARRASSED TO DRIVE IT.

STALLING AFTER REFUELING WHEN I FILL UP MY GAS TANK, ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARD PULLING OUT OF THE GAS STATION MY VAN SPUTTERS, MISSES, HESITATES, CALL IT WHAT YOU WILL. THE PAST COUPLE OF TIMES THE ENGINE HAS ACTUALLY STALLED AS WELL.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE TIMING BELT FRACTURED AND THE TIMING CHAIN AND ENGINE COVER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 153,000.
SHORTLY AFTER FUELING VAN IT STALLS STEERING WHEEL LOCKS UP AND I LOOSE ALL POWER. THIS HAS HAPPENED A NUMBER OF TIMES INCLUDING BEING ON BUSY ROADWAYS, WHEN I LOOSE FULL CONTROL OF MY VEHICLE. EVERY INCIDENCE HAS ALSO HAPPENED WHEN I HAVE HAD MY THREE CHILDREN IN THE VAN.I HAVE RESEARCHED AND THIS IS A VERY WELL KNOWN PROBLEM. WHY HAS SOMETHING NOT BEEN DONE? DO MY CHILDREN AND I HAVE TO BE KILLED IN AN AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT.
4/17/2016 WE HAD AN ACCIDENT WHICH TOTALED OUR VAN. THE FRONT WAS DAMAGED AND THE VAN WAS TOTALED HOWEVER THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY EVEN THE WINDSHIELD WAS DAMAGED
THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED ON AN INCLINED DRIVEWAY. THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OF AND THE KEY WAS NOT IN THE IGNITION. MY DAUGHTER PULLED THE COLUMN SHIFTER WITHOUT PRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE VEHICLE SHIFTED INTO REVERSE AND ROLLED BACKWARDS DOWN THE DRIVEWAY. THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE DOOR WAS OPEN. THE DOOR STRUCK A TREE AND STOPPED THE ROLLING VEHICLE.
AFTER FILLING UP THE TANK WITH GAS, THE CAR, ALMOST ALWAYS, STALLS, A FEW MINUTES INTO DRIVING. I'VE BEEN CONCERNED ABOUT THIS, SINCE MY WIFE MOSTLY USES THIS CAR, AND HAS STALLED ON THE HIGHWAY SEVERAL TIMES.I HAVE HAD IT STALL IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY INTERSECTION.OF COURSE, THE POWER STEERING ALSO CUTS OUT WHEN THE ENGINE SHUTS DOWN WHICH COMPOUNDS THE DANGER. WHEN I "GOOGLED" THE WORDS "2007 GRAND CARAVAN STALLS", A VERY LONG LIST OF PEOPLE WITH THE SAME COMPLAINT IMMEDIATELY CAME UP.APPARENTLY, THE SMALL PART CAUSING THIS MALFUNCTION IS PART OF THE ENTIRE GAS TANK AND CANNOT BE REPLACED WITHOUT REPLACING THE ENTIRE GAS TANK. THIS IS A VERY EXPENSIVE REPAIR, AND NOT AFFORDABLE TO MANY. CHRYSLER SHOULD BE RECALLING THESE VEHICLES AND REPAIRING WHAT IS OBVIOUSLY A MAJOR DESIGN FLAW, BEFORE SOMEONE IS SERIOUSLY HURT OR KILLED. THIS IS NOT A DEFECT IN SOME INNOCUOUS INTERIOR PART OF THE CAR, IT AFFECTS THE SAFE OPERATION OF A MOVING VEHICLE!
ENGINE DIES AFTER FILLING UP GAS TANK BECAUSE OF A FAULTY VAPOR/LIQUID SEPARATOR VALVE. AFTER FILLING UP AND DRIVING FOR LESS THAN A 1/4 MILE THE ENGINE WILL STALL IN TRAFFIC SEVERAL TIMES.
MY WIFE IS HANDICAPPED. I OWN A LOWERED FLOOR MINIVAN WITH A RAMP FOR WHEELCHAIR ACCESS. VANTAGE MOBILITY INTERNATIONAL ("VMI"), 5202 SOUTH 28TH PLACE, PHOENIX, AZ 85040, (602) 243-2700 DID THE CONVERSION OF MY 2007 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN TO MAKE IT HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE ("RAMP VAN"). DODGE/CHRYSLER ("DODGE") WORKS WITH VMI AND A DODGE DEALER IN TEMPE ARIZONA TO SELL RAMP VANS NATIONWIDE THROUGH A DEALER NETWORK. RAMP VANS ARE SOLD THROUGH LOCAL DEALERS WHO PROVIDE BOTH WARRANTY AND NON WARRANTY SERVICE FOR THE CONVERSION ELEMENTS OF THE RAMP VANS. LOCAL DODGE DEALERS PROVIDE NON-CONVERSION WARRANTY AND NON-WARRANTY SERVICE. IT IS NOT UNUSUAL FOR EACH TO POINT THE FINGER AT THE OTHER CONCERNING ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL PROBLEMS. THE DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT AIR BAG DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. IT ONLY OPERATES INTERMITENTLY. IT HAS BEEN TAKEN TO BOTH VISION DODGE (920 PANORAMA TRAIL SOUTH, ROCHESTER, NY 14625, (585) 385-5700, AND AUTOCRAFTING 72 HINCHEY ROAD, ROCHESTER, NY 14624 ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS FOR REPAIRS TO THE AIRBAG SYSTEM. AUTOCRAFTING REPORTED THAT VMI WAS INVOLVED IN TROUBLESHOOTING THE PROBLEM. BETWEEN VISION DODGE AND AUTOCRAFTING THERE HAVE BEEN 3 OR 4 ATTEMPTS TO FIX THE AIRBAG PROBLEM TO NO AVAIL. VISION DODGE CHARGED ME SUBSTANTIAL COSTS FOR REPAIRS THAT DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. NEITHER DODGE NOR VMI HAS BEEN ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THE AIR BAG FAILURE AND THE INABILITY OF DODGE AND VMI TO FIX IT INDICATES A MAJOR DESIGN FAILURE IN AN ESSENTIAL AND LEGALLY REQUIRED SAFETY SYSTEM. THE AIRBAG SYSTEM GOES ON AND OFF WHILE BEING DRIVEN ON CITY STREETS AND HIGHWAYS AS REPORTED BY THE VEHICLE'S WARNING LIGHTS. WHOEVER IS DRIVING THE VEHICLE IS AT SERIOUS RISK OF DEATH OR INJURY SHOULD THE VAN BE INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT WITH THE AIRBAG NOT WORKING. OCCURRED 12/2015 AND FROM OCTOBER 2016 TO DATE.
AFTER REFUELING THE CAR WILL STALL FOR SHORT PERIOD. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AS IT MAY STALL WHILE PULLING INTO HE ROADWAY. NHTSA WORKED WITH DODGE ON OTHER MODELS TO EXTEND THE WARRANTY TO LIFETIME. MY VEHICLE HAS THE SAME ISSUE AND THE REPAIR IS TO REPLACE THE FUEL TANK AT A COST IN EXCESS OF $700. DODGE SHOULD HAVE REDESIGNED THE FUEL SYSTEM TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE AS THE SAME ISSUE WAS LIFETIME WARRANTIES IN PRIOR YEAR MODELS.

THE LAST FEW TIMES I HAVE COMPLETELY FILLED UP MY GAS TANK - THE VEHICLE HAS STALLED. I HAVE HAD TO TRIED TO STOP AND RESTART THE IGNITION/ENGINE A NUMBER OF TIMES FOR THE VEHICLE TO RUN. THIS IS HAPPENING WITH FULL GAS FULL-UP AND HAPPENED TO ME AGAIN LAST NIGHT. I HAVE SEEN THIS AS BEING A COMMON PROBLEM FOR CHRYSLER/DODGE MINIVANS IN A FEW ON-LINE FORUMS. THE ENGINE STALLED TWICE WITHIN 5 MINUTES OF REFUELING. THE VEHICLE WAS FILLED WITH UNLEADED 87 OCTANE GAS TO FULL. THE GAS PUMP AUTO STOPPED WHEN FULL, AND THE TANK WAS NOT TOPPED OFF. THE FIRST STALL HAPPENED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IDLING AT A STOP SIGN APPROXIMATELY 1 MINUTE AFTER FUELING. THE ENGINE RESTARTED, BUT STALLED AGAIN APPROXIMATELY 2 MINUTES LATER. THE SECOND STALL OCCURRED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION AT APPROXIMATELY 15-20 MPH AND TURNING LEFT. THE STALL LEFT THE VEHICLE WITHOUT POWER STEERING, AND THE VEHICLE COASTED INTO A DRIVEWAY. THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF LIGHT TRAFFIC. UNDER DIFFERENT CIRCUMSTANCES OR TRAFFIC PATTERNS, A STALLED ENGINE LEAVING A MOVING VEHICLE POWERLESS LIKELY WOULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT RESULTING IN POSSIBLE INJURY OR DEATH. THIS SAME PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED APPROXIMATELY 5-6 TIMES IN THE LAST 2 YEARS, HOWEVER I CAN NOT BE SPECIFIC ON DATES. IT WAS ONLY WHEN MY WIFE AND I WERE TOGETHER THIS LAST TIME THAT WE BOTH COMMENTED ON THE PROBLEM, AND FOUND THAT IT HAS HAPPENED TO EACH OF US SEVERAL TIMES. THE VEHICLE STALLS AFTER RE-FUELING. WE RE-FUEL AT DIFFERENT GAS STATIONS (BRANDS) AND THE ISSUE REMAINS. EVERY TIME WE FILL THE TANK AND PULL OUT OF THE GAS STATION INTO TRAFFIC, THE ENGINE SPUTTERS AFTER DRIVING APPROXIMATELY TWO BLOCKS, AS IF IT IS NOT RECEIVING ENOUGH FUEL. THE ENGINE THEN STALLS. THE ENGINE CAN BE RESTARTED AND WILL NOT SPUTTER OR STALL UNTIL THE NEXT TIME WE RE-FUEL IT. WE ENCOUNTER THIS ISSUE WEEKLY, AFTER EVERY FILL UP. THE INTERIOR IN THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE WENT OUT. WHEN I TOOK IT OUT TO REPLACE IT, AND IT WAS MELTED ON ONE SIDE. APPROXIMATELY THREE MONTHS AGO, MY 2007 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN STALLED AS I CAME TO A STOP SIGN IN A PARKING LOT. I WAS ABLE TO START RIGHT BACK UP AFTER PUTTING MY VAN IN PARK. BEING UNSURE WHY THIS HAPPENED, I DROVE AROUND THE PARKING LOT A FEW MINUTES BEFORE GETTING ON THE ROAD. IT STALLED ONE MORE TIME, BUT THEN I HAD NO OTHER PROBLEMS AND DROVE HOME. THIS OCCURRED IMMEDIATELY AFTER FILLING MY VAN WITH GAS, BUT I DID NOT ASSOCIATE THE PROBLEM WITH FUELING AT THE TIME. SINCE THAT INCIDENT, THIS HAS BECOME A RECURRING ISSUE OF THE ENGINE STALLING ONLY AFTER FILLING MY TANK. WHEN REFUELING NOW, I DRIVE AROUND NEAR THE GAS STATION TO INSURE THE VAN IS GOING TO RUN. AFTER GETTING GAS, WHEN I SLOW TO COME TO A STOP OR I HAVE STOPPED, THE CAR MAY STALL OUT. I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RESTART MY VAN BY PUTTING IT IN PARK, STARTING AND PUMPING THE GAS PEDDLE FOR A FEW SECONDS BEFORE PROCEEDING. FORTUNATELY, WHEN MY VAN HAS STALLED, I HAVE NOT BEEN TRYING TO CROSS TRAFFIC OR TRAVELING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED; HOWEVER, THE POTENTIAL FOR SERIOUS INJURY DOES EXIST. MY SEARCH FOUND THIS TO BE A COMMON ENOUGH PROBLEM THAT A DEFECT PETITION DP14-002 WAS FILED IN SEPTEMBER 2014 WITH DOI. ACCORDING TO ONLINE RESOURCES, THE REMEDY IS TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE TANK. THE PROBLEM IS THE VAPOR/LIQUID SEPARATOR VALVE LOCATED AT THE TOP OF THE FUEL TANK AND THE VALVE IS NOT SOLD SEPARATELY. THIS APPEARS TO BE A DESIGN FLAW AND I WONDER WHY A RECALL HAS NOT BEEN ISSUED. *TR
VEHICLE HESITATED FIRST TIME WHILE GOING 50 MPH AFTER REFUELING - REGULAR GAS. CHECKED THE TACH, WENT TO ALMOST ZERO, THEN BACK UP AGAIN. RODE ROUGH FOR A WHILE. STALLED FIRST TIME AFTER REFUELING W/ REGULAR GAS, @ 35 MPH, ALMOST CAUSING ME TO HIT A CURB - LOSS OF POWER STEERING AND BRAKES. RESTARTED OKAY. STALLED A 2ND TIME AFTER REFUELING AT RED LIGHT, JUST 500 FT FROM GAS STATION. TOOK 2 TIMES TO START IT. WHEN WE FIGURED IT WAS NOT A BAD TANK OF GAS, WE HAD OUR LOCAL MECHANIC CHECK IT, AND WE PAID OVER $200.00 FOR A CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR TO BE REPLACED. BUT WE REFUELED THE VAN SOON AFTER, AND IT STALLED OUT AGAIN. THAT WAS WHEN I DECIDED TO LOOK ONLINE TO SEE IF ANYONE ELSE HAS ENCOUNTERED THE SAME PROBLEM.
