MY VEHICLE RANDOMLY STALLS WHILE I AM DRIVING. IT HAPPENS AT VARYING TIMES OF THE DAY, VARYING SPEEDS, SOMETIMES SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK, OTHER TIMES IT IS FINE FOR A MONTH. I HAVE HAD IT TO THE DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY CANNOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE RESTARTED AND OPERATED NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED THREE TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 46,196.
VEHICLE HAS EXTREME VIBRATION PROBLEM OCCURRING AT APPROXIMATELY 40 AND 80MPH THIS EVENTUALLY CAUSED IT TO STOP RUNNING. VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A SERVICE CENTER WHERE NO PROBLEM COULD BE FOUND. HOWEVER, TRANSMISSION FLUID WAS ADDED AND TRANSAXLE OIL FILTER WAS CHANGED. PROBLEM NOT RESOLVED. EIGHT MONTHS LATER ENGINE MOUNTS NEEDED REPLACED DUE TO SHIFT IN ENGINE/TRANSMISSION BY 6 IN. PROBLEM NOT RESOLVED. TWO WEEKS LATER TRANSMISSION FILTER CHANGED, FLUID AND DR TRANNY ADDED. PROBLEM NOT RESOLVED. VIBRATION STOPS WHEN GAS IS NO LONGER APPLIED HOWEVER RETURNS AT APPROXIMATELY 30-45MPH. PROBLEM HAS BEEN NOTICEABLE FOR OVER 2 YEARS.
I HAVE OWNED THIS VAN SINCE 05/24/2012. AT 30,922 MILES AND DATE OF 01/06/2014 THE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE CORRODED THROUGH AND THE VAN DIED WHILE DRIVING. THE DEALER REPLACED THE ENTIRE CABLE UNDER FACTORY WARRANTY. ON 04/24/2016 & 62,036 MILES THE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE CORRODED THROUGH AGAIN AND THE VAN DIED WHILE DRIVING IT. IT SEEMS THAT THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN EVERY 2 YEARS. EVENTUALLY IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN IN HEAVY TRAFFIC AND SOMEONE WILL GET RUN OVER BY FAST RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. WHILE DRIVING AND DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL, COMING TO A STOP, OR ACCELERATING FROM A STOP, THE BRAKES SEIZED. THE FRONT BRAKES MADE AN ABNORMAL NOISE AND THE BRAKE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED, AND WOULD NOT TURN OFF UNTIL THE VEHICLE WAS OFF FOR A WHILE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED, BUT NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 59,000.
OVER THE PAST 5 MONTHS, VEHICLE DISENGAGING FROM PARK AND INTO DRIVE IS CLUNKY. RECENTLY ON A HIGHWAY (VEHICLE IN MOTION WITH CHILDREN IN THE CAR), TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF 2ND/3RD. VEHICLE WAS PARKED THE REST OF THE DAY. NEXT MORNING IT SEEMED TO DRIVE FINE. LATER SAME DAY SHIFTING ISSUE RETURNED. TOOK IT TO A TRANSMISSION SPECIALIST FOR DIAGNOSTIC. TOOK IT TO THE DEALER. VEHICLE IS JUST OVER 100K MILES (NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY). THE SOLENOID PACK WAS REPLACED. VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW WITH 14 MILES. PCM WAS RECALLED AT 24K. LEFT SIDE CYLINDER HEAD REPLACED AT 33K.
REAR AND SIDE SLIDING DOOR WEATHER STRIPPING NEEDED REPLACED

THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO RELEASE THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE POWER WINDOW IN AN UPWARD POSITION; HOWEVER, THE GLASS RELEASED DOWNWARD INSIDE THE DOOR PANEL AND MADE A LOUD POP SOUND. A PLASTIC COVERING WAS PLACED OVER THE WINDOW FRAME FOR PROTECTION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE AND VIN WERE UNAVAILABLE.

THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 69,000.

THE FAILURE ONLY OCCURRED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED FOR THE FIRST TIME DURING THE DAY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A MECHANIC AND THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000.
TRANSMISSION COOLER LINE LEAKING AT 70,000 MILE. LEAK CAUSED FLUID TO GET ALL OVER ENGINE COMPARTMENT
BRAKE PADS, ROTORS & CALIPERS HAVE HAD TO BE REPLACED 3 TIMES. CAR IS NOW AT 57,000 MILES. IF EVEN GENTLY USING THE BRAKES IN STOP & GO TRAFFIC BACKUP ON HIGHWAY, WHEN CAR NEEDS TO ACCELERATE, STEERING WHEEL VIBRATES BADLY AND TROUBLE GETTING CAR UP TO SPEED. OBVIOUS THAT SOMETHING IS STICKING REGARDING THE BRAKES. WHEN FINALLY UP TO SPEED, PROBLEM DISAPPEARS (60MPH). VERY FRIGHTENING & POTENTIAL SERIOUS ACCIDENT PROBLEM. I DRIVE LONG DISTANCES AT NIGHT TO & FROM WORK EVENTS & DON'T NEED TO BE STRANDED ON A DESERTED HIGHWAY SOMEWHERE AT MIDNIGHT. WHY HAS THERE BEEN NO RECALL ON A PROBLEM THAT EVERYONE, INCLUDING THE DODGE MECHANICS, KNOW ABOUT! THIS HAS BECOME AN ONGOING ISSUE, FIRST ON FEB. 14, THEN FEB. 16 AND AGAIN FEB. 26. REAR BRAKE PAD AFTER FEB. 14 WAS TOTALLY BURNED OFF ~ WAS REPLACED & STILL THE ISSUE IS OCCURRING, NOW ON THE FRONT BRAKES.
AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT TURNS ON RANDOMLY
EARLIER 2008 TO 2010 CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY AND DODGE GRAND CARAVANS WERE EXPERIENCING AN IGNITION PROBLEM WITH THE (WIN) WIRELESS IGNITION NODE MODULE RECALL #14V-373, CHRYSLER #R03. WE NOTICED THAT AN EXTRA FOBIK COULD NOT BE PROGRAMMED ON THESE VEHICLES BECAUSE OF A FAILURE IN THE (WIN). THESE AFFECTED MODELS WERE REPLACED UNDER THIS RECALL. I NOW HAVE A 2012 GRAND CARAVAN THAT ALSO HAS A NON-RESPONSIVE (WIN) (EXTRA FOBIK CAN NOT BE PROGRAMMED) AND WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED; HOWEVER, THIS IS NEARLY AN IDENTICAL UNIT TO THE 2008-2010 MODELS AND THIS IS THE SAME THING WE EXPERIENCED WITH THE MODULE LOOSING ITS COMMUNICATION. I SUSPECT THAT IT IS A PRECURSOR TO THE SAME ISSUE (WIN FAILURE) AND CHRYSLER NEEDS TO REPLACE THESE NEWER UNITS AS WELL. A COMPLETE FAILURE OF THE IGNITION MODULE COULD SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF WHEN IT IS GOING DOWN THE ROAD. THIS PROBLEM THEY ARE HAVING WITH NEWER IGNITION MODULES APPEARS TO BE VERY SIMILAR TO THE EARLIER MODEL. ITS A POTENTIAL HAZARD AND AN EXPENSIVE FIX THAT PEOPLE COULD PUT OFF (DON'T HAVE TO PROGRAM AN EXTRA FOBIK) AND LATER HAVE A BIGGER ISSUES WITH A (WIN) FAILURE THAT CAUSES AN ENGINE SHUT-OFF CONDITION GOING DOWN THE ROAD.
OUR VAN HAS HAD ELECTRICAL ISSUES OVER THE PAST 3-4 WEEKS. FIRST, CERTAIN LIGHTS IN THE CABIN WOULD FLICKER INTERMITTENTLY. STARTING LAST WEEK, THE DASH LIGHTS WOULD FLICKER ON AND OFF WHILE DRIVING. THE CAR THEN STARTED TO LOSE POWER WHILE IDLING. THEN ONE DAY THE CAR BRIEFLY LOST POWER WHILE GOING 75 MPH ON I-70. IT RESTORED INSTANTLY BUT DISPLAYED A BATTERY WARNING LIGHT. I PULLED OVER AND RESTARTED THE VEHICLE, WHERE IT OPERATED NORMALLY AGAIN. WITHIN THE LAST FEW DAYS, HOWEVER, THE CAR CONTINUES TO LOSE POWER WHILE IDLING, EVEN IF IN GEAR. *JS
BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON WHILE DRIVING KIDS TO SCHOOL. DROVE A SHORT DISTANCE HOME(5MI). TESTED BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR. VOLTAGE ON BOTH APPEARED WITHIN NORMAL RANGES. LET VEHICLE IDLE WITHIN MY DRIVEWAY WITH THE LIGHTS/RADIO/HEATER ON. BATTERY WAS DEAD WITHIN 20MIN.
RUBBING NOISE IS COMING FROM BREAKS WHEN VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. IT STARTED WITH REAR BREAKS. WAS TOLD BREAKS ARE GETTING STUCK BY THE DEALER. REAR BREAKS WERE REPLACED AND PROBLEM WENT AWAY. FEW MONTHS LATER FRONT BRAKES STARTED MAKING SIMILAR NOISE. AGAIN TOLD BREAKS ARE GETTING STUCK. REPLACE THE BREAKS. NOISE CAME BACK WITH IN A 3 WEEK. SO FAR THEY REPAIRED THE FRONT BREAKS 4 TIMES IN THE LAST 4 MONTHS. AFTER EVERY REPAIR, NOISE GOES AWAY FOR FEW WEEKS AND COMES BACK AGAIN.

WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS AND ONCE THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS RELEASED AFTER A STOP, SMOKE WAS NOTICED FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE BY THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE TIRES. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. ON THE DAY THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED, THE VEHICLE MOVED SLUGGISHLY AS IF THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WERE ENGAGED, BUT IT WAS NOT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO ATLANTA WEST CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (1251 THORNTON RD, LITHIA SPRINGS, GA 30122 (678) 534-7470), BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL FIRESTONE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH STICKING CALIPERS. TWO INDEPENDENT MECHANICS TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE AND DIAGNOSED THAT THE CALIPERS WERE NOT RELEASING WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS RELEASED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT BRAKE PADS WERE REPLACED FOUR TIMES, THE FRONT ROTORS WERE REPLACED THREE TIMES, AND THE FRONT CALIPERS WERE REPLACED ONCE; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 30 MPH AND APPROACHING A RED LIGHT, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED BUT THE BRAKES FAILED TO RESPOND. THE CONTACT HAD TO APPLIED EXCESSIVE FORCE ON BRAKE PEDAL IN ORDER FOR THE VEHICLE TO STOP. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE BRAKE PUMP AND THE EMERGENCY BRAKE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 51,661.
VEHICLE SHUTS OFF DURING DRIVING. DODGE DID I NEED A WHOLE NEW IGNITION SETUP. OTHER 2012 DODGE CARAVANS HAVE THIS AS A RECALL. VEHICLE ALSO WON'T SWITCH GEARS AND RPMS GO UP TO 6000 AT TIMES. *TR
MY VAN IS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD AND HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE BATTERY IN SEPT 2015. IT'S MID NOVEMBER AND NOW I'M HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE BATTERY DYING FREQUENTLY. I WENT TO WHERE I PURCHASED THE BATTERY FROM AND THEY CHECKED THE BATTERY AND SAID IT'S FINE. THE MOTOR RANKS WITHOUT STARTING 2-3 TIMES BEFORE FINALLY STARTING. I BELIEVE THIS IS BECAUSE OF THE FUEL PUMP OR FUEL PUMP RELAY. THE RELAYS CHATTER A LOT AND THE FUEL PUMP SOUNDS MUCH DIFFERENT NOW THAN IT DID WHEN I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. IT'S AS IF THE BATTERY IS BEING G DRAINED SLOWLY BECAUSE OF EITHER THE FUEL PUMP OR FUEL PUMP RELAY OR BOTH. I AM A CERTIFIED AIRCRAFT AND AUTO MECHANIC WITH ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING CAPABILITIES. I HAVE YET TO APPROACH THE DODGE DEALER WITH THIS BECAUSE IT HAS ONLY HAPPENED TWICE SO FAR WITH ME BEING AT WORK WHILE MY WIFE HAS HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS ISSUE BOTH TIMES SO FAR.

SHORTLY AFTERWARDS, THE TRACTION CONTROL, ABS, AND AIR BAG LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND THE RPMS FLUCTUATED WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH. THE VEHICLE STALLED AND WAS NOT ABLE TO BE RESTARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE ALTERNATOR WOULD NEED BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
TRIED TO LEAVE BABYSITTER AFTER 5 MINUTE PICKUP AND VAN WOULDN'T START. NO POWER FOR ANYTHING LIKE BATTERY. CHARGE DID NOT HELP. SLIGHT CLICK WHEN YOU TURN OVER KEY SIMILAR TO STARTER BUT NOT AS LOUD. READ ALL REVIEWS FOR OTHERS AND WITH TIPM FAILURE AND THEIR COMBINED ISSUES SOUNDS LIKE TIPM. NO POWER, WON'T START, SHIFTS ROUGH.
THE VAN FOR A FEW WEEKS WOULD OCCASIONALLY NOT START ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT, IT WOULD CRANK, JUST NOT START. AT FIRST I THOUGHT I JUST DIDN'T TURN THE KEY LONG ENOUGH TO START, BUT IN THE BEGINNING OF OCTOBER IT STARTED GETTING WORSE AND I KNEW THERE WAS A PROBLEM. I TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC ON OCT 7TH AND THEY COULDN'T DUPLICATE THE NO START ISSUE AND COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING, SO I WAS ASKED TO BRING IT BACK WHEN THEIR MOPAR GUY WAS BACK. WE THOUGHT IT WAS A FUEL PUMP ISSUE SO WE TRIED TO RUN A CLEANER THROUGH IT, BUT AFTER A FEW DAYS IT ONLY GO WORSE. ON OCT 19TH I BROUGHT IT BACK TO THE MECHANIC (STILL THINKING IT WAS A FUEL PUMP ISSUE) AND THEY SAID THE CRANK SENOR WAS NOT RESPONDING. THEY REPLACED THAT TWICE BUT IT STILL WOULDN'T RESPOND TO THE PROGRAMMING. HAD TO PAY $150+ FOR THE CRANK SENSOR... THEY FINALLY SAID THAT I WOULD NEED TO BRING IT TO THE DEALERSHIP BECAUSE IT MOST LIKELY WAS THE MAIN COMPUTER AND SINCE THAT PART WOULD BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY THEY COULD REPLACE IT WITHOUT ANY OUT OF POCKET. I BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY INFORMED ME IT WAS THE TIPM AND THAT IT WOULD COST OVER $1,000 TO FIX. THE GUY AT THE DEALERSHIP SAID IT'S "NOT A COMMON PROBLEM" SO THEY COULDN'T GET THE PART FROM THEIR WAREHOUSE, THEY HAD TO ORDER IT FROM THE MANUFACTURER AND IT WOULD BE IN AT THE BEGINNING OF NEXT WEEK (OCT 26TH OR 27TH). I HADN'T HEARD ANYTHING SO I WENT INTO FIND OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON AND HE INFORMED ME THAT THE PART HAD TO BE MADE BECAUSE "IT'S NOT COMMON" AND WOULD HOPEFULLY BE IN AROUND FRIDAY (OCT 30TH). STILL NO WORD. AND TODAY I FOUND OUT THIS IS NOT UNCOMMON THAT THERE IS ACTUALLY A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FOR THIS VERY ISSUE!!!! THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME A LOANER AND I HAVE 3 KIDS THAT I HAVE NO WAY OF GETTING AROUND IN A LITTLE KIA FORTE.
ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WENT OUT WHILE TURNING A CORNER. ALL DASH LIGHT CAME ON AND CAR STOPPED RUNNING.

THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000.

AIR CONDITIONING FAILED DUE TO CORRODED AC LINES. REPAIR COSTS TOTALED $687.00. MECHANIC ADVISED THAT A POOR DESIGN CONTRIBUTED TO PREMATURE CORROSION.
A LOUD SQUEAL IN THE FRONT LEFT (DRIVERS) BRAKE SYSTEM. THE FACTORY CALIPER HAS FAILED TO RELEASE CAUSING CONSISTENT "RUBBING" OF BRAKE PADS ON ROTOR. SYSTEM GENERATES EXCESSIVE HEAT AND POTENTIALLY COULD CAUSE A FIRE.
3 INSTANCES OF ENGINE ELECTRICAL ISSUES, SUSPECT POWER CONTROL MODULE BOX. FIRST INSTANCE ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO, PULLING INTO DRIVEWAY, AND HEADLIGHTS AND DASHBOARD BEGIN TO FLICKER UNCONTROLLABLY. I PULLED NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE, RE-CONNECTED AFTER A COUPLE OF MINUTES, AND ALL NORMALITY RETURNS. 2ND ISSUE, SOME YEAR AGO OR LESS, CAR SHUTS DOWN IN MIDDLE OF HIGHWAY, LUCKILY, RIGHT NEXT TO A PARKING LOT AND RED LIGHT. AS ENGINE SHUT DOWN, I SUSPECTED THIS ISSUE ONCE AGAIN. I USED MOMENTUM TO TURN INTO PARKING LOT. (JUST ROLLED IN.) WIFE ASKED ME WHAT I WAS DOING, DIDN'T EXPLAIN UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO SECURE INTO PARKING LOT AND STOP VEHICLE. ONCE AGAIN, PULLED OFF CABLE ON BATTERY, AND WAS ABLE TO RE-SET COMPUTER GLITCH. THIRD ISSUE EVENT. WAS PARKED IN PARKING LOT, COULDN'T GET KEY CONTROL TO OPEN DOOR. USED EMERGENCY KEY TO OPEN DOOR, ONCE AGAIN, PULLED OFF BATTERY CABLE AND RE-SET COMPUTER. THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS COMPUTER WITHOUT A DOUBT.

I CALLED THE DEALER INPANAMA CITY, FL TO SET UP APPOINTMENT TO FIX RECALL AND THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS A LONG WAITING LIST TO GET IT FIXED. THEY TOOK MY NAME AND NUMBER AND SAID THEY'D CONTACT ME WHEN I CAME UP ON LIST. THEY HAVE NOT CALLED ME BACK SO I HAVE NOT HAD THE RECALL FIXED. THAT WAS THREE MONTHS AGO.

MY MOTHER BOUGHT THIS VAN OCT 25,2013 AND THE BRAKES WERE OK AT FIRST THEY STARTED MAKING A DRAGGING SOUND I HAD THEM LOOKED AT AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE FINE INSPECTION CAME AROUND A MONTH AFTER I HAD THEM LOOKED AT AND THE BRAKES WOULD NOT PASS INSPECTION (FRONT)I HAD THEM FIXED MIND YOU THIS IS IN SEPTEMBER LESS THEN 5 MONTHS LATER I HAD TO REPLACE THE BRAKES AND ROTORS IN THE FRONT BECAUSE THEY WERE DRAGGING AGAIN 4 MONTHS LATER THE BRAKES AGAIN SEPT ROLLS AROUND FOR INSPECTION AND AGAIN THEY WILL NOT PASS I HAD THEM FELINES AND IT IS NOW OCTOBER AND THEY ARE STARTING TO SQUEEL WHICH MEANS AGAIN I WILL HAVE TO CHANGE THEM MORE I AM NOT BIG ON DRIVING FAR OR ILUSE THE BREAKS AS LEAST AS POSSIBLE AND I STILL HAVE PROBLEMS .
FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS THE ENGINE AND BATTERY LIGHTS WOULD COME ON BUT FLASH OFF. I ASSUMED THAT THE OIL JUST NEEDED TO BE CHANGED. HAD THE OIL CHANGED ON 8/17/15 AND REQUESTED THAT THE MECHANIC PUT IT ON THE COMPUTER FOR ANY ADDITIONAL ISSUES. WHEN I PICKED UP MY 2012 DODGE CARAVAN THE SERVICE TECHNICAN STATED THAT NOTHING WAS FOUND. THEN ON 8/28 I WAS DRIVING AT 35 MPH WHEN ALL THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS STARTED COMING ON AND THE VAN SEEMED SLUGGISH. BECAUSE I WASN'T SURE WHAT WAS HAPPENING I PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF... LETTING IT SIT ABOUT 10MINUTES - WHEN I WENT TO START IT, IT WOULD NOT START. HAD A FRIEND COME AND JUMP ME SO I COULD GET IT HOME. HAD A MECHANIC COME TO THE HOUSE AND PUT IT ON THE COMPUTER AND FOUND THE ALTERNATOR WAS BLOWN. IT IS BARELY 3 YEARS OLD AND ONLY 63830 MILES.

BOUGHT CAR WITH AN EXTENDED WARRANTEE. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND CODES SHOW THAT MIS-FIRES WERE HAPPEN IN RIGHT SIDE OF ENGINE. AFTER ENGINE WAS INSPECTED DEBRIS WAS FOUND IN THE ENGINE AND MECHANIC THOUGHT IT NECESSARY TO REPLACE THE ENGINE. LOOKED UP RECALLS AND THE PENNSTAR WAS BEING RECALLED FOR CYLINDER PROBLEMS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF ENGINE. THE ENGINE ONLY HAS LESS THAN 130000 MILES ON IT AND NOW I AM SADDLED WITH PAYING IT OFF AND PUTTING IN A 6000 ENGINE, .

TOTAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FAILURE. VAN WILL NOT DO ANYTHING AT ALL. LIGHTS BLINK ON AND OFF, TIPM MODULE CLICKS. CURRENTLY STUCK IN MY DRIVEWAY BECAUSE I CAN'T EVEN GET IT OUT OF PARK.
THE PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR BECOMES STUCK SHUT AND UNABLE TO OPEN. IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO QUICKLY GET A CHILD OUT FROM THAT SIDE. THIS IS NOT A FAILURE OF POWER DOORS. THE DOOR PHYSICALLY WON'T OPEN REGARDLESS OF BEING UNLOCKED.
