DRIVER SIDE STRUT FAILED. THE STRUT MAKES A TERRIBLE SQUEAKING SOUND AS YOU DRIVE. I TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC AND HE SAID "YEP THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE, I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT". BOTH FRONT STRUTS HAVE TO BE REPLACED. WHY ISN'T THIS A WARRANTY OR RECALL ISSUE?
DRIVER SIDE REAR PASSENGER DOOR LOCK WILL NOT WORK. THE LOCK ACTUATOR FAILS AND DOES NOT ENGAGE THE LOCK. THIS OCCURS AT 15 MILES PER HOUR WHEN THE DOOR IS SUPPOSED TO AUTO LOCK.
BACK SLIDING DOOR HAS BEGAN MAKING A LOUD BUZZING SOUND ANYTIME I HIT THE UNLOCK BUTTON. IT IS REALLY LOUD.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE SLIDING DOOR CEASED IN THE CLOSED/LOCKED POSITION. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO UNLOCK THE DOOR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO REEDMAN TOLL CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF SPRINGFIELD (770 BALTIMORE PIKE, SPRINGFIELD, PA 19064, (610) 544-5300) HOWEVER, WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
THE LOCKING MECHANISM ON MY SIDE DOOR IS MAKING A LOUD BUZZING NOISE - LIKE IT'S NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE HAVING THIS PROBLEM. I DON'T THINK THAT I SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT LOOKS TO BE A DEFECT.
WHILE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE IT BEGAN TO LOSE POWER AND WOULD NOT ACCELERATE WHEN I PUSHED THE GAS AND THEN THE VEHICLE WOULD JUMP FROM 1 TO 5 RPMS. TOOK TO DODGE DEALERSHIP THEY HAD TO REBUILD THE TRANSMISSION DUE TO BAD TRANSMISSION PUMP.
I WAS IN MOTION ON A COUNTY ROAD WHEN I BELIEVE THE TRANSMISSION BEGAN MESSING UP. UPON RESEARCH I FOUND THERE WAS A RECALL REGARDING THE TRANSMISSION IN 2016 DODGE CARAVANS. I PLACED THE VEHICLE IN "DRIVE" AND WHILE IT SHIFTED FROM 1ST TO 2ND IT REVVED UP TO 3500 RPM BEFORE SHIFTING. WHEN SHIFTING FROM 2ND TO 3RD THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT SHIFT AND REVVED UNTIL ABOUT 8000 RPM BEFORE FINALLY SHIFTING. I STOPPED AND PLACED THE VEHICLE IN "REVERSE" AND AS I TRIED TO ACCELERATE, THE GEAR WOULD NOT CATCH UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 3000 RPM.
VAN STOPPED GOING IN AND OUT OF GEAR IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC AND ALMOST CAUSED A SEVERE ACCIDENT. VAN WAS IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET AND MOVING.
THE LOCK SWITCH WENT OUT ON VEHICLE AFTER HAVING IT FOR 2 YEARS. THE AC UNIT IN THE BACK HALF GOES IN/OUT. THE TRANSMISSION IS GOING OUT ON THE CAR AFTER HAVING IT FOR 3YEARS IN MAY.
THE DRIVER SIDE SLIDING DOOR IS CURRENTLY IN THE LOCKED POSITION AND CANNOT BE UNLOCKED EITHER USING THE KEY FOB OR MANUALLY MANIPULATING THE DOOR LOCK MECHANISM. THE DOOR WAS OPERATING PROPERLY IN THE MORNING AND INOPERATIVE IN THE AFTERNOON. BASED ON INTERNET SEARCHES AND CHECKING WITH MY LOCAL MECHANIC, IT APPEARS THAT THE DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR IS DEFECTIVE AND THAT THIS IS A KNOWN DEFECT.
THE PASSENGER REAR DOOR MAKES A BUZZING SOUND AND DOES NOT LOCK OR UNLOCK.
RIGHT REAR DOOR LOCK HAS JAMMED. DOOR CANNOT BE OPENED CREATING A SAFETY HAZARD. UNKNOWN IF THIS OCCURRED WHILE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION. ODOMETER READS ~62,000 MILES.
PASSENGER REAR SLIDING DOOR WILL NOT UNLOCK OR OPEN. I CANNOT OPEN THE DOOR TO GET MY KIDS IN OR OUT. THE DOOR UNLOCKED AND OPENED WITH NO PROBLEMS WHEN PUTTING MY KIDS IN. I DROVE FIVE MILES, STOPPED SHUT THE VAN OFF AND TRIED TO OPEN THE DOOR AND IT WOULDN'T UNLOCK OR OPEN
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE ELECTRONIC SLIDING DOOR HAD LOCKED AND COULD NO BE RE-OPENED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO STRAUB CHRYSLER DODGE (1502 WHEELING AVE, GLENDALE, WV) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE LOCKING MECHANISM WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MECHANISM WAS REPLACED AND THE FAILURE WAS REMEDIED. HOWEVER, WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN IN FOR SERVICE, THE SAME FAILURE OCCURRED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR. THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000. *DT*JB
THE SLIDING DOOR MAKES A BUZZING SOUND UPON LOCKING THE DOOR. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY.
MY 2016 DODGE CARAVAN JUST SHUTS DOWN WHILE DRIVING. AFTER SENDING THE CAR TO THE DODGE DEALER 5 TIMES, IT STILL HAS THE SAME ISSUE. NOW, IT TURNS BACK ON, SO WHEN I TAKE IT, THEY CANT FIND THE PROBLEM. I HEAR THERE ARE LOTS OF THESE ISSUES, BUT NOT SURE WHAT IS WRONG. 1ST TIME, DRIVING IN A PARKING LOT, JUST SHUT DOWN. LOST ALL POWER STEERING, BREAKS, NO LIGHTS, WOULD NOT TURN BACK ON FOR TWO DAYS, SO I TOWED IT TO DODGE.THEY FOUND FAILURE IN THE TIPM, 2ND SAME DAY I GOT THE CAR BACK, I TOWED IT IN AGAIN DRIVING HOME, IT SHUT OFF, NO SIGNS, NO BRAKES, NO STEERING, VERY SCARRY CITY STREET, BLOCKING TRAFFIC. DODGE SAID A WIRE WAS LOOSE. 3RD TIME, COULD NOT DIAGNOSE AS OT IT STARTED BACK UP AND NO CODES. 4TH, THIS TIME IT STOPPED, I SMELLED GAS. THE FUEL LINE BROKE, IT STARTED UP AFTER A GUY PUSHED THE LINE BACK ON. I DROVE IT TO DODGE, HOPING IT WAS THE ISSUE. IT WAS NOT. 5TH TIME, I WAS OUT OF TOWN, IT DROVE THE 4 HOURS, IT WAS THE NEXT DAY IT SHUT DOWN ON ME TWICE ON A BUSY FREEWAY IN AUSTIN TX. IF I WAIT NOW ABOUT 5 TO 10 MINUTES, IT STARTS AGAIN. IN BETWEEN THAT TIME THE THE ENGINE WILL NOT TURN OVER. I TOWED IT TO CARMAX, THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG AFTER 4 DAYS IN SHOP. DROVE IT HOME, AND IT DIED ON ME 4 TIMES ON THE FREEWAY, BUSY HIGHWAY. IM SO OVER THIS AND SCARED. DROVE IT TO DODGE AGAIN, NO CODES TO SHOW WHY.

THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION PUMP FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 77,000.
AUTOMATIC SECOND ROW PASSENGER DOORS AND OR LOCKS ARE SEALED SHUT. THE DOORS CANNOT BE OPENED OR CLOSED AND ARE SEALED COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY SHUT. THERE IS NO MANUAL OVER RIDE SYSTEM TO MANUALLY OPEN AND CLOSE THE DOORS OR TO MANUALLY UNLOCK THE DOORS TO OPEN THEM. THESE ARE THE DOORS THAT CHILDREN USE TO GET IN AND OUT OF THE VEHICLE AS THESE ARE THE SEATS THAT CHILDREN, TODDLERS, AND BABIES RIDE IN. THESE DOORS ARE COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY SEALED SHUT AND CANNOT BE OPENED MANUALLY. THEY MAY OR MAY NOT BE LOCKED AND CANNOT BE UNLOCKED MANUALLY EITHER. THE AUTO MECHANIC CANNOT GET INSIDE OF THESE DOOR PANELS TO FIND OUT WHAT IS WRONG EVEN AFTER STOWING THE SEATS AS THERE IS ALSO NO WAY TO GET THE DOOR PANELS OFF FROM THE INSIDE OF THE CAR WHILE THE DOORS ARE SEALED SHUT. YOU HAVE TO OPEN THE DOORS TO GET THE DOOR PANELS OFF TO LOOK INSIDE OF THE DOORS TO SEE WHAT IS WRONG. BUT, YOU CANNOT DO THIS BECAUSE THE DOORS ARE SEALED SHUT. FAULTY AND DEFECTIVE DESIGN AND ENGINEERING! SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE FOR CHILDREN! MECHANIC CANNOT GET ANY INFORMATION FROM DODGE ABOUT HOW TO FIX PROBLEM. DOORS HAVE BEEN SEALED SHUT FOR 6 MONTHS. CANNOT GET IN OR OUT OF EITHER DOOR IN SECOND ROW. NO MANUAL OVERRIDE OF ANY KIND TO USE DOORS AS MANUAL DOORS. AUTOMATIC DOOR DESIGN AND AUTOMATIC LOCK DESIGN ARE DEFECTIVE AND PRESENT A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. DODGE NOT TELLING DEALERS OR MECHANICS HOW TO FIX THIS EITHER. IT IS A MYSTERY AND DODGE IS NOT SHARING INFORMATION TO GET IT FIXED.

THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVE-ABLE BUT WOULD NOT GO ABOVE 40MPH WHEN MOTION IN ON THE HIGHWAY OR STREET. THE VEHICLE HESITATE AND SHIFT GEARS WHEN TRYING TO GO ABOVE 40MPH.I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO CERTIFIED DODGE DEALER WHO SAID IT WAS MY TRANSMISSION AND IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE IS 2016 DODGE CARAVAN.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V461000 (POWER TRAIN); HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT ON THE WAY BACK TO THE DEALER, THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO DRIVE AND STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN BACK TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED TWICE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 93,783. *LN*JB
SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASING OUR USED 2016 DODGE CARAVAN R/T WITH UNDER 30000 MILES, THE PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR LOCK BEGAN MAKING A LOUD BUZZING NOISE WHENEVER LOCKING OR UNLOCKING. NOW AT 33000 MILES THE DRIVERS SIDE SLIDING DOOR IS DOING THE SAME THING. THIS COSTLY REPAIR IS CLEARLY A MANUFACTURING DEFECT CONSIDERING THE LOW MILEAGE OF THE VEHICLE AND HOW COMMON IT SEEMS TO BE AFTER A LITTLE BIT OF RESEARCH.
RIGHT PASSENGER SLIDING DOOR IS STUCK IN LOCKED POSITION. UNABLE TO OPEN OR UNLOCK THE DOOR, AND THERE IS NO MANUAL OVERRIDE. THIS CREATES A SAFETY ISSUE DUE TO INABILITY TO GET MY YOUNG CHILD OUT. THIS PROBLEM OCCURRED OUT OF NOWHERE, ONE DAY IT WORKED AND THE NEXT IT WASN'T. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY. THE VAN ONLY HAS 36 THOUSAND MILES ON IT.
THE VAN WAS IN PARK, OFF, LOCKED AND UNOCCUPIED, IN MY DRIVEWAY, ON A LEVEL SURFACE, WHEN THE DRIVER SIDE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SAFETY SYSTEM DEPLOYED. IT WAS DISCOVERED WHEN WE WERE PREPARING TO LEAVE. THE PLASTIC TABS ON THE INSIDE OF THE HEADREST APPEAR TO HAVE BROKEN, ALLOWING IT TO MOVE UP AND FORWARD.
FIRST INCIDENT WAS IN AUGUST 2017.I HAD SERVICE DONE BECAUSE THE DRIVER'S SIDE SLIDING DOOR STOPPED WORKING AND DID NOT OPEN. SECOND INCIDENT - THIS AUGUST 2019 THE SAME DOOR STOPPED WORKING AND DOES NOT OPEN. THIRD INCIDENT - NOW MY PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR DOES NOT OPEN EITHER. BOTH SLIDING DOORS CURRENTLY DO NOT OPEN. THEY ARE LOCKED WITH NO MANUAL WAY TO UNLOCK OR OPEN. THESE DOORS ARE FAULTY AND A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN. I HAVE TO SMALL CHILDREN THAT IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY, ARE NOT ABLE TO ESCAPE. DODGE SERVICE CENTERS AREN'T ABLE TO PROVIDE COURTESY VEHICLES DURING THE REPAIR, WHICH ACCORDING TO MY EXPERIENCE, WOULD TAKE APPROXIMATELY 3-4 DAYS TO REPAIR THE FAULTY SLIDING DOOR. THERE ARE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS REGARDING THESE SLIDING DOORS. IF THE SAME ISSUE KEEPS HAPPENING WITH THESE DOORS, THEN THE PROBLEM IS NOT WITH THE USERS. THE ISSUE IS IN THE MECHANISM OF THESE SLIDING DOORS.
PASSENGER SIDING DOOR WASN'T LOCKING AT ALL WITH POWER LOCK. NOW IT WILL LOCK AND UNLOCK, BUT BUZZES LOUDLY WHEN DOING SO. THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM FOR THIS MAKE AND MODEL, AND APPEARS TO LEAD TO THE DOOR NOT WORKING AT AL.
THE ORC TURNED ON WHILE I WAS DRIVING, THEN TURNED OFF. NOW STAYS ON FOR A LONG TIME AND CHIMES. EVEN WHEN I'M PARKED AND THE CAR IS RUNNING, STAYS ON.
REAR PASSENGER SLIDING DOOR MAKES BUZZING NOISE WHEN UNLOCKING. THE LOCK AND UNLOCK DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK.
PASSENGER REAR SLIDING DOOR MAKES EXTREMELY LOUD BUZZING NOISE WHEN ANY DOORS LOCK OR UNLOCK. THERE HAD BEEN NO DAMAGE DONE TO THE VEHICLE AND THIS CAME COMPLETELY RANDOM. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN DODGE! I WALKED OUT HIT UNLOCK ON THE KEY FOB WHILE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY IN MY DRIVEWAY. HEARD BUSZZZZZZZ SUPER LOUD GOT NERVOUS COULDN'T FIGURE OUT THE NOISE. I FIGURED IT OUT WHEN I TURNED THE IGNITION AND THE DOORS THEN LOCKED AND THE NOISE HAPPENED AGAIN. HAS NOW HAPPENED EVERYTIME SINCE THEN AND IT'S EXTREMELY LOUD.
THE LIFTGATE WILL NOT OPEN. SOMEDAYS IT WILL OPEN BY PUSH BUTTON OR BY THE FOB, BUT WHEN IT STOPS WORKING IT WILL BE WEEKS BEFORE IT STARTS TO WORK AGAIN. THE LIFTGATE WONT OPEN MANUALLY WHICH CAN BE A SAFETY HAZARD IF THERE WAS A. EMERGENCY. THE CAR IS PARKED WHEN THIS HAPPENS.

ALSO, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL BUZZING NOISE DETECTED FROM THE DRIVER'S SIDE SLIDING DOOR. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE GREASE WAS APPLIED TO THE SLIDING DOOR; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED WITHIN TWO DAYS. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
SLIDING DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR IS MAKING A GRINDING OR BUZZING NOISE.
WHEN UNLOCKING THE DOORS USING THE KEY FOB, THE PASSENGER SLIDING DOOR MAKES A VERY LOUD BUZZING NOISE. IT STARTED IN 2019 AND OCCURS EVERY TIME THE PASSENGER DOOR UNLOCKS.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE WOULD REV UP HOWEVER, THE TRANSMISSION FAILED TO ENGAGE. ADDITIONALLY, WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THOMPSON CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM BALTIMORE (124 NORTH POINT BLVD, BALTIMORE, MD 21224) WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH TRANSMISSION FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER HAD YET TO BE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD YET TO BE REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 41,500.
BUZZING NOISE IN THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR SLIDING DOOR EVERY TIME THAT I UNLOCKED THE DOOR, FROM INSIDE THE CAR AND WITH THE KEY.
THE POWER LOCK ACTUATORS ON THE SIDE SLIDING DOORS HAVE QUIT WORKING ON BOTH THE DRIVER'S SIDE AND PASSENGER SIDE. THE MALFUNCTION IS UNSAFE BECAUSE YOU ARE UNABLE TO UNLOCK THE DOORS MANUALLY OR OPEN THE DOORS. THE DOORS ARE STUCK IN THE LOCKED POSITION AND STUCK CLOSED. IF YOU HAD TO EXIT THE DOOR IN AN EMERGENCY SUCH AS A FIRE OR FLOODING, THE REAR PASSENGERS COULD NOT EXIT THROUGH THE SLIDING DOORS. CURRENTLY, THE PASSENGERS HAVE TO CLIMB OVER THE FRONT SEATS TO EXIT IN THE FRONT.
WHEN THE VEHICLE IS SHIFTED INTO PARK AND TURNED OFF THERE IS A LOUD BUZZING WHEN THE ELECTRIC LOCKS UNLOCK. IT BEGAN ABOUT A WEEK AGO. IT DOES IT EVERY TIME YOU SHUT OFF THE VEHICLE WHEN THE LOCKS DISENGAGE.
DRIVER SIDE PASSENGER SLIDING DOOR (POWER) WILL NOT OPEN. I'VE TRIED THE KEY FOB, THE BUTTON IN THE OVERHEAD CONSOLE, AND THE BUTTON BEHIND THE DRIVER SEAT AND NOTHING HAPPENS.
BOTH SLIDING, REAR DOORS OF MY 2016 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN (LESS THAN 40,000 MILES) ARE LOCKED IN PLACE. BOTH DOORS WILL NOT OPEN USING EITHER ELECTRIC SWITCHES OR MANUAL HANDLES AND LOCKS. FIRST THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR STOPPED FUNCTIONING, AND THEN 5 DAYS LATER THE DRIVER SIDE SLIDING ALSO STOPPED FUNCTIONING. THERE IS NO MANUAL OVERRIDE TO OPERATE THE DOOR, UNLESS THE INTERIOR PANELS ARE REMOVED, AND ONE CAN DISENGAGE THE MECHANISMS. THIS IS APPARENTLY A REGULARLY OCCURRING SAFETY ISSUE THAT DODGE HAS NOT ADDRESSED.
DRIVERS SIDE SLIDING DOOR LOCKED AND WILL NOT UNLOCK MANUALLY OR WITH THE ELECTRONIC MECHANISM. THIS CAUSES THE DOOR TO NOT BE ABLE TO OPEN. THANK GOD THERE WAS NOT AN EMERGENCY THAT REQUIRED QUICK ACCESS TO MY 17 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER AS I HAD TO CRAWL THROUGH THE OTHER DOOR TO GET HER OUT. THE DOOR OPENED PERFECTLY FINE TO PUT HER IN THE CAR. AFTER RESEARCHING THIS I'M SEEING HUNDREDS OF OTHERS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THE EXACT SAME ISSUE AND THERE ARE STILL NO RECALLS. THIS COULD BE A DEADLY ISSUE. WILL SOMEONE HAVE TO DIE FOR THIS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF???
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SLIDING MIDDLE DOOR OF THE VEHICLE FAILED TO OPEN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE DOOR LOCK MECHANISM FAILED. THE TECHNICIAN ADVISED THE CONTACT TO CALL THE MANUFACTURER TO CHECK FOR RECALLS. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT SHE WOULD NEED TO PULL THE LOCK DOWN AND PUSH IN THE UNLOCK BUTTON AT THE SAME TIME TO OPEN THE DOOR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,092.
THIS IS A 2016 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN R/T WITH MILEAGE READING 99570. THE ENGINE IS THE 3.6L FLEX DOHC. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. HAD IT CHECKED IT CODED FOR A MISFIRE IN NUMBER 2 CYLINDER. PAID FOR A FULL TUNE UP. LIGHT CAME BACK ON NEXT DAY TOOK THE VAN BACK TO BE CHECKED AGAIN. THEY DID ANOTHER FULL TUNE UP IN CASE OF A POSSIBLE FAULTY PART.CHECK ENGINE LIGHT REMAINED ON. THE CERTIFIED MECHANIC THERE SAID THAT IT'S A COMMON IN THESE ENGINES AND WE MAY COULD CHECK TO SEE IF THERE IS A RECALL. AFTER LOOKING AROUND ON THE INTERNET SEEN WHERE THERE HAS BEEN THOUSANDS OF COMPLAINTS TO DODGE AND CHRYSLER DEALERSHIPS ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY FOR THE SAME THING AND IT'S ABOUT A $3000 FIX
FIRST LEFT REAR SLIDING DOOR STUCK IN LOCKED POSITION, WOULD NOT OPEN. WAS REPAIRED BUT NOT UNDER WARRANTY. NOW RIGHT SIDE SLIDING DOOR LOCK IS ALSO STUCK AND UNABLE TO LOCK VEHICLE.
THE PASSENGER DOOR IS STUCK LOCKED. TRIED USING FOB STATES UNLOCK DOOR.
SLIDING DOOR MAKING BUZZING WHEN LOCKING AND UNLOCKING. THIS OCCURS WHENEVER LOCKING OR UNLOCKING THE DOOR.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 63,000.
THE SLIDING DOOR ON PASSENGER SIDE WILL NOT UNLOCK. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AS HAVING CHILDREN IN THERE CAR SEAT AND CAN'T OPEN THE DOOR TO GET THEM OUT. I HAVE READ MANY COMPLAINTS ON THE CAR GURUS SITE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. MANY SAY DODGE IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM BUT HAS NOT ISSUED A RECALL, BUT WILL REPAIR IT FOR $$$$. I WAS IN A STORE PARKING LOT WHEN THIS HAPPENED AND COULD NOT GET THE DOOR TO UNLOCK TO GET MY GRANDSON OUT. THE DOOR STILL WILL NOT UNLOCK.
WHEN HITTING THE UNLOCK BUTTON ON EITHER DOOR, THE RIGHT BACK SLIDING DOOR MAKES A LOUD BUZZING NOISE. IT MAKES THIS NOISE ANY TIME WE HIT UNLOCK.
