REAR DRIVER SIDE SLIDING DOOR HAS COMPLETELY STOPPED OPERATING. WILL NOT OPEN EITHER MANUALLY OR ELECTRICALLY. IT IS AS IF IT IS PERMANENTLY LOCKED. PASSENGERS ON THAT SIDE CANNOT EXIT THE VEHICLE THAT SIDE, MAKING IT A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD.
THE FRONT PASSENGER HEADREST POPPED FORWARD WHILE ADJUSTING THE SEAT TO LOAD EQUIPMENT IN THE REAR FLOORBOARD COMPARTMENT. THE PLASTIC ASSEMBLY THAT HOLDS THE METAL PIN WHICH IS USED TO KEEP THE HEADREST IN ITS NORMAL POSITION HAD BROKEN. THIS IS APPARENTLY A COMMON PROBLEM ACCORDING TO INTERNET RESEARCH BUT NO RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUED. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY IN MY DRIVEWAY AND NOT RUNNING.
PASSENGER REAR SLIDING DOOR INTERMITTENTLY STOPPED WORKING. WOULD NOT OPEN, MAKE A BUZZING NOISE. TOOK TO DEALER TO HAVE IT DIAGNOSED. THEY SAID THE DOOR MOTOR WAS FAULTY AND COULD FAIL CLOSED LOCKING THE REAR PASSENGERS IN THE BACK SEAT. I HAD IT REPAIRED AT A COST OF $1300.00. A MONTH LATER THE DRIVER SIDE REAR DOOR FAILED CLOSED. I AM NOW LOOKING AT ANOTHER $1300.00 REPAIR. THESE ITEMS RE NOT COVERED BY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY
WHILE DRIVING ON AN EXPRESSWAY (70MPH) AT NIGHT I HEARD A LOUD BANG ON THE DRIVER'S WINDOW. I THOUGHT A BAT OR BIRD HAD HIT THE WINDOW. WHEN I GOT HOME I SAW THAT THE NOISE WAS DUE TO THE EXTERIOR WINDOW MOLDING ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE FLYING OFF. THANKFULLY NO ONE WAS RIGHT BEHIND ME.
MY 2016 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN MAKES A LOUD BUZZING NOISE WHEN PRESSING THE UNLOCK BUTTON, ON THE PASSENGER SIDE.
BOTH SLIDING DOORS WILL NOT OPEN - JAMMED IN LOCKED POSITION. CANNOT MANUALLY OR ELECTRONIC OPEN. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AS I CANNOT GET MY GRANDKIDS OUT OF THE VAN IN AN EMERGENCY. ALSO UNABLE TO USE THE VAN IF THERE ARE MORE THAN 2 ADULTS. THERE WAS NO INCIDENT THAT CAUSED THIS. WORKED ONE DAY...NEXT DAY DIDN'T WORK. HAPPENED WITHIN A COUPLE WEEKS OF EACH OTHER (THE DOORS)
THE DRIVERS SIDE SLIDING DOOR IS STUCK IN THE CLOSED POSITION. IT WILL NOT LOCK OR UNLOCK EVEN MANUALLY. THE PASSENGER SLIDING DOOR IS NOW MAKING A GRINDING NOISE EVERYTIME THE FRONT DOORS ARE LOCKED OR UNLOCKED AND COULD FAIL SOON CAUSING MY CHILDREN TO BE LOCKED INSIDE THE VAN. ONLY 68,000 MILES ON THIS VAN AND THE REPAIR IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE AROUND 1200 DOLLARS. NEEDS TO BE RECALLED. MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD.
TAKATA RECALL, MARINE CORPS. VETERAN AND MY 2016 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN R/T DRIVER SIDE REAR SLIDING DOOR STUCK SHUT ON LOCK POSITION I HAVE TRIED REMOVING FUSES AND STILL NONTHING. AFTER ONLY 10 THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE DUE TO THE FACT I HAVE 6 CHILDREN THAT OCCUPY THE REAR. I HAVE GOTTTEN THE QUOTE FROM 1K - 2K TO FIX THIS ISSUE WHICH IS VERY EXSPENSIVE AND CAN NOT AFFORD. I HAVE READ SEVERAL SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ON THIS VEHICLE RANGING DIFFERENT YEARS OF THE SAME MODEL VEHICAL.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON, CHECKED #2 CYLINDER MISSFIRE, HAD THE COIL CHANGED, THE FUEL INJECTOR CHANGED, LIGHT CAME BACK ON. 73000 MILES, DODGE RECALLED THE 2016 GRAND CARAVAN JUST NOT MY VIN NUMBER,I CALLED AND THEY WILL NOT DO THE REPAIR FOR FREE EVEN THOUGH SAME MODEL YEAR HAS THE SAME DEFECT, #2 CYLINDER
THE DRIVER SIDE SIDE DOOR STOPPED WORKING. IT CANNOT BE UNLOCKED EVEN MANUALLY, TRAPPING PASSENGERS INSIDE IF IT IS THE ONLY EXIT POINT. LOCK WILL NOT ENGAGED TO UNLOCK THE DOOR.
DRIVER'S SIDE REAR SLIDING DOOR IS STUCK CLOSED. IT CANNOT BE UNLOCKED AT ALL. I HAVE TRIED UNLOCKING THE DOOR MANUALLY AND BY PRESSING THE UNLOCK BUTTON. IS IT STUCK LOCKED. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHETHER THE VEHICLE IS PARKED OR MOVING...THE DOOR WILL NOT UNLOCK.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO RICK HENDRICK JEEP CHRYSLER DODGE RAM FIAT (8333 RIVERS AVE, NORTH CHARLESTON, SC 29406, (843) 639-5475) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE DOOR LATCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED DUE TO THE PRICE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 69,633.
MY PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR IN THE BACK WHERE MY CHILD SITS WILL NOT OPEN. YOU CAN NOT MANUALLY OPEN IT OR OPEN IT IN ANY WAY. *DT CONSUMER STATED VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED.*JB
HAVING SEVERAL ISSUES WITH THIS VEHICLE. THE ONE THAT HAS BEEN APPARENT THE LONGEST IS THE RUST BUBBLES ALONG THE EDGE OF THE HOOD UNDER THE PAINT. PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR LOCK IS STICKING. WHEN LOCKING USING THE KEY FOB IT MAKES A LOUD BUZZING NOISE. THIS HAS BEEN ONGOING FOR SIX MONTHS OR SO. MORE RECENTLY THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR WHICH WAS FUNCTIONING FLAWLESSLY ALL OF THE SUDDEN IS STUCK IN A LOCKED POSITION AND WILL NOT OPEN. THE MANUAL LOCK ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR WILL NOT UNLOCK. ALMOST AS IF IT IS JAMMED. OPENED BOTH SIDE DOORS AND EVERYONE GOT IN. DROVE FOR 20 MINUTES AND TRIED TO DROP OFF MY PASSENGERS AND THE DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN ON THE DRIVER SIDE. ARE THE MOTORS DEFECTIVE? DESIGNED TO BREAK AFTER WARRANTY EXPIRES? VIDEOS ON HOW TO FIX THIS ISSUE APPEAR TO BE QUITE INVOLVED AND COMPLEX. NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE IF THE DOOR CANNOT BE OPENED.
DRIVERS SIDE SLIDING DOOR LOCKED AND CANNOT BE UNLOCKED WITH POWER CONTROLS OR MANUALLY. GOOGLED AND FOUND MANY PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.
THE SLIDING DOOR DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR IS VERY NOISY. SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH IT. EVERY TIME I UNLOCK THE DOORS THAT SPECIFIC PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR IS VERY NOISY.
ALL OF A SUDDEN THE PASSENGER SIDE IS ONLY BLOWING HEAT NO COLD AIR.
DRIVER'S SIDE REAR SLIDING DOOR WILL NOT OPEN. PER DEALER, "FOUND ACTUATOR INTERNAL FAULT. REPLACE LEFT SLIDING DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR AND C PILLAR APPLIQUES."
TWO DAYS AGO, THE DRIVER SIDE REAR SLIDING DOOR FAILED TO UNLOCK OR OPEN, EITHER WITH THE KEY FOB OR VARIOUS BUTTONS/HANDLES. THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR LOCK MADE A BUZZING NOISE WHEN IT LOCKED. TODAY, THE PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR STOPPED WORKING. I TOOK IT TO MY MECHANIC. HE SAID BOTH LOCKING MECHANISM MOTORS WERE BURNED OUT AT A COST TO REPLACE OF $1900. THE FIRST DOOR STOPPED WORKING WITHOUT WARNING, THE SECOND ONE MADE A BUZZING SOUND FOR A DAY OR TWO WHEN LOCKING OR UNLOCKING. THERE WAS NO IMPACT OR ROUGH ROAD DRIVING INVOLVED. *DT *TR
PURCHASED IN AUG 2018, IN APRIL 2019 BOTH SIDE DOORS WOULD NOT OPEN BY ANY MEANS TRIED. NO RECALL ACCORDING TO DODGE BUT I HAVE READ MANY COMPLAINTS ON LINE AND HERE. I CONSIDER THIS A SAFETY HAZARD. I HAVE MY GRANDSON IN A CAR SEAT IN THE BACK AND IF THERE WAS AN ACCIDENT COULDN'T GET HIM OUT. *DT *TR

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE SLIDING DOOR DID NOT FUNCTION AND THE PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR MADE AN ABNORMAL NOISE WHEN PRESSING THE BUTTON TO UNLOCK. THE MANUFACTURER AND LOCAL DEALER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,643.
I BROUGHT MY NEW DODGE CARAVAN AT ARRIGO SAWGRASS FLORIDA ON AUGUST 2016. IT CURRENTLY HAS 72,000 MILES, THE WARRANTY EXPIRED AT 60,000 MILES. I HAVE DONE ALL REQUIRED MAINTAINANCE AT THERE DEALER, THIS VAM HAS NEVER GIVEN ME PROBLEMS BEFORE, AND HAS ONLY BEEN SEEN BY THEM. ON APRIL 7, IT SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING AND IT SEEM.TO HAVE TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY INFORMED ME THE TRANSMISSION MAIN PUMP BROKE AND I NEED TO.REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION WITH A NEW ON. REPAIR COST IS 4884.00. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, AS I BROUGHT IT NEW, AMD THEY ARE NOW OFFERING 3YR 100,000 WARRANTY IF I DO THE JOB WITH THEM. DOING SOME.RESEARCH ON LINE I SAW THEY HAD A RECALL FOR DODGE CARAVAN 2016-16V461000, S44. THIS RECALL.WAS EFFECTIVE FOR UNITS UNTIL JULY 2016, THIS UNIT IS FROM AUGUST 2016, SO I'M PRETTY SURE THIS IS A MANUFACTURER ISSUE AND THEY SHOULD BE RESPONSABLE REGARDLESS MY WARRANTY ENDED 12,000 MILES AGO. THE VEHICLE CAN NOT BE MOVED AND I PAY 584.81 MONTHLY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. WHILE THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS ACTIVATED, THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE VENTS BLEW OUT HOT AIR WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MCCLANE MOTOR SALES (618-783-2372, LOCATED AT 702 E JOURDAN ST, NEWTON, IL 62448) WHERE THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED AND REPLACED THE PASSENGER SIDE ACTUATOR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 35,082. *DT CONSUMER STATED THE REPORT IS INCOMPLETE IN THAT IT DOES NOT STATE THAT THERE HAD BEEN A RECALL ON THIS VEHICLE BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM WITH THE RECALL ON THOSE MANUFACTURED UP TILL MAY, 2015. OBVIOUSLY, THE PROBLEM WAS NOT SOLVED AS OUR VAN WAS MANUFACTURED IN SEPT. 2015. ADDITIONALLY, WE'VE TAKEN THIS VAN TWICE TO HAVE THE VAN WORKED ON. FOR THE VEHICLE TO HAVE VERY SLOW ACCELERATION. *JB
I'VE BEEN HAVING ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS SINCE I GOT THE VAN AT SOME POINT WHILE I'M DRIVING ALL THE GAGES WOULD START FLASHING ACTING LIKE IT WAS TRYING TO DIE SOME CASES IT DID SOME CASES IT DID NOT BUT WHEN I STOPPED THE DASHBOARD HAD LOST ALL POWER TO IT NO IGNITION WHATSOEVER I STILL HAD WORKING RADIO HEADLIGHTS AND EVERYTHING ELSE WHENEVER I WOULD PARK THE CAR IT COULD TAKE UP TO AN HOUR OR MORE TO GET IN THE VEHICLE BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT RESPOND TO THE KEY FOBS YOU WOULD BE SITTING DOWN MINDING YOUR OWN BUSINESS AND THEN ALL THE SUDDEN IT WOULD WORK LEFT ME STRANDED TRYING TO GET TO WORK MY CHILD TO SCHOOL AND THEN LAST NIGHT WHILE I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY I STARTED HEARING A NOISE AND THEN ALL A SUDDEN THE TRANSMISSION STARTED SLIPPING REVVING UP TO 6000 RPM WHILE I'M CROSSING OVER A BRIDGE ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY BARELY WAS ABLE TO GET ACROSS THE BRIDGE LEAVING ME STRANDED IN AN UNSAFE PART OF TOWN I RAN A CODE SCANNER ON THE VEHICLE IT SHOWS CODE U0141 THAT WAS STORED AND P083B WHICH IS THE TRANSMISSION FLUID PUMP AND IT NEVER TURN ON A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT UNTIL I WAS LESS THAN A MILE FROM THE DEALER AFTER I HAD TO DRIVE TO THE DEALER BECAUSE THE ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE NUMBER I HAD I COULD NOT CONTACT THEM. I DO KNOW THAT SOME OF THE VEHICLES WERE UNDER RECALL I'M NOT SURE IF THIS ONE WAS AND IT WAS FIXED OR NOT BUT IS NOT SHOWING AN ACTIVE RECALL BUT IT IS NOT SAFE THE IMAGES I SHARED I WAS ACTUALLY DRIVING FORWARD AND AS YOU CAN SEE THE LIGHTS CAME ON AND AT 1 POINT IT ACTUALLY SHOWED ME AS BEING IN REVERSE IT BEEPS AND GOES CRAZY
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED INDEPENDENTLY WITHOUT WARNING. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO SLOW DOWN WHILE TRAVELING UP A HILL. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO COAST THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE CONTACT PLACED THE SHIFTER INTO PARK AND POWERED OFF THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED, BUT A BURNING ODOR WAS PRESENT AROUND THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT POWERED OFF THE ENGINE AGAIN AND HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION PUMP FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER AND WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 58391588. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000. *DT *JB
I WAS DRIVING HOME AT NIGHT, AROUND 35MPH. ALL OF A SUDDEN THE TRANSMISSION AND RPMS WENT OFF THE CHARTS, ALL THE WAY UP TO 7000RPMS, ANY SORT OF ACCELERATION BY TAPPING THE GAS PEDAL CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO MALFUNCTION. I HAD MY DAUGHTER IN THE CAR AND TRIED TO GET PULLED OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND GET THE VEHICLE STOPPED. ONCE I GOT IT STOPPED IT WAS UNDRIVABLE AT THIS POINT AND HAD TO CALL A TOW SERVICE. MY LOCAL MECHANIC DEEMED IT TO BE THE TRANSMISSION PUMP WENT OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING. NO WARNING, NO LIGHTS, NOTHIHG. NOW THE VAN IS AT THE DODGE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. I WAS TOLD THAT GRAND CARAVANS HAD A RECALL ON TRANSMISSION PUMPS BETWEEN THE DATES OF JULY 31, 2015 AND APRIL 18,2016 (MINE WAS MANUFACTRURED OCTOBER 2015) EVEN THOUGH IT FALLS IN THOSE DATES, MY VIN# WAS NOT ATTACHED TO THE RECALL. (S44 IS THE RECALL NUMBER, ALSO THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER IS 16V461000) THIS WAS A SERIOUS MALFUNCTION, AND COULD HAVE BEEN MORE SERIOUS IF I WOULD HAVE BEEN DRIVING JUST A LITTLE FASTER. AT ONE POINT, THE VEHICLE KEPT ACCELERATING WITHOUT THE GAS PEDAL BEING PUSHED. WE WERE LUCKY I WAS ABLE TO GET THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. ONCE THE VAN WAS SHUT OFF, THERE WAS A BURNING ODOR COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. I HAVE LOOKED AND FOUND SEVERAL OTHERS WITH THE SAME ISSUE AS MINE, WHO WERE NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL AND SHOULD OF BEEN. HOPEFULLY AN INVESTIGATION WILL OPEN SOON, BEFORE SOMEONE GETS SERIOUSLY INJURED.
DRIVER SIDE REAR PASSENGER DOOR RANDOMLY FROZE AND STOPPED WORKING AND IS STUCK IN A LOCKED MODE. MANUAL BUTTON WILL NOT RELEASE DOOR AND ALSO ALL CONTROLS ON REMOTE, DOOR PANEL OR BUTTON ON CEILING WILL NOT OPEN DOOR. SAFETY ISSUE IF GRANDKIDS OR PASSENGERS CAN'T EXIT THROUGH DOOR IN AN EMERGENCY. THIS SHOULD BE A SAFETY RECALL. IT'S NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AND IS A SAFETY ISSUE. MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS FROM OTHERS AND DODGE DOES NOTHING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUES $1300 REPAIR TO FIX ON A 2 YR OLD CAR IS RIDICULOUS. PLEASE MAKE THIS A SAFETY RECALL, I AM AFRAID TO TAKE PASSENGERS IN MY VAN FOR GOD SAKE. I DIDN'T BUY A VAN TO NOT DID USE IT, BUT I HAVE NO MONEY TO FIX IT AND I AM LOCKE INTO AN EXPENSIVE CAR PAYMENT NOT EXPECTING TO HAVE EXPENSIVE REPAIRS.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 51,000.

THE PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR WILL NOT OPEN OR UNLOCK. I HAVE TRIED MANUALLY UNLOCKING THE DOOR BUT IT WILL NOT OPEN.
LEFT POWER SLIDING DOOR STOPPED WORKING AND UNABLE TO OPEN MANUALLY AFFRAID MY GRANDCHILDREN WILL BE ENDANGERED IF I'M IN A SITUATION AND NEED TO GET THEM OUT FROM THE LEFT SIDE
THE DRIVER SIDE SLIDING DOOR FAILED WITH LESS THAN 50K MILES ON THE VEHICLE. THE LOCK IS STUCK AND WILL NOT OPEN ELECTRONICALLY OR MANUALLY. THIS PREVENTS A SAFETY ISSUE IF IMMEDIATE EGRESS IS NEEDED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE ACTUATOR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE STARTED MAKING LOUD BUZZING NOISES AS THOUGH IT MAY FAIL SHORTLY.
THE PASSENGER SLIDING DOOR HAS LOCKED SHUT. I AM UNABLE TO OPEN IT AT ALL. THIS OCCURRED RANDOMLY, WHILE MY WIFE WAS BY HERSELF, 39 WEEKS PREGNANT WITH A SMALL CHILD AND A TODDLER INSIDE THE VEHICLE.. I HAVE RESEARCHED THIS MALFUNCTION AND IT SEEMS TO HAPPEN OFTEN TO THIS MAKE (DODGE AND CHRYSLER) MINIVAN IN THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS. IN MY OPINION, THIS SEEMS LIKE AN EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS MALFUNCTION. WHILE IN MY DRIVEWAY (VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY), I ATTEMPTED TO OPEN THE DRIVER SIDE SLIDING DOOR. THE DOOR WAS NOT WORKING MANUALLY OR ELECTRONICALLY. DASHBOARD SCREEN SAID UNLOCK DOOR TO OPERATE, BUT THE DOOR IS STUCK IN LOCK.
APPROXIMATELY 1 WEEK AGO MY REAR DRIVER SLIDING DOOR BECAME STUCK. UPON SEARCHING ONLINE FOR A FIX I FOUND WHAT APPEARED TO BE HUNDREDS, IF NOT THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. I ATTEMPTED EVERY THING WE COULD THINK OF. TRYING TO OPEN OR UNLOCK THE DOOR VIA MANUALLY, VIA KEY FOB, AND VIA INTERIOR BUTTONS. NOTHING WILL OPEN THIS DOOR. IT IS STUCK AND CANNOT BECOME OPENED OR UNLOCKED. MY DAUGHTER HAS A DISABILITY AND SITS ON THIS SIDE. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE THAT DODGE NEEDS TO ADDRESS. DOES MY DAUGHTER HAVE TO DIE BY BEING TRAPPED IN THE VAN BEFORE DODGE DOES SOMETHING? THIS ISN'T A NEW PROBLEM AND IS AFFECT MULTIPLE DODGE VEHICLES.
NOT SURE ABOUT THE MILEAGE AS TO WHEN THIS HAPPENED (SINCE I AM NOT CURRENTLY IN MY CAR) 1THE CAR HAD BEEN PARKED AT HOME BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO UNLOCK THE DOOR, WHEN THE SLIDING DOOR (DRIVERS SIDE) MADE A "BUZZING" SOUND AND NOW THE DOOR WON'T UNLOCK. WE HAVE TRIED TO GET THE DOOR OPEN BY MANUALLY MOVING THE LOCKING SWITCH AND IT JUST DOESN'T MOVE. WE ARE CURRENTLY ONLY ABLE TO USE THE PASSENGERS SIDE SLIDING DOOR.
THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START. AND AS A RESULT I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO RICK HARTMAN IN ABERDEEN, WA. WHEN THE VEHICLE ARRIVED IT STILL WOULD NOT START AND SO IT JUST SAT THERE. THE NEXT DAY, THEY ATTEMPTED TO START IT WHICH IT DID. BUT NO CODES CAME UP. MY ATTEMPTS TO GET HELP FROM DODGE HAVE COME UP A ZERO. THEY OPENED A CASE FOR ME AND STATED THAT SOMEONE NAMED AMBER WOULD GET AHOLD OF ME IN 1-2 DAYS. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. NO LOANER WAS OFFERED. AND IT IS STILL SITTING THERE A WEEK AND A HALF LATER WITH NO ACTION.
PASSENGER SIDE AIR VENTS BLOW ONLY HOT AIR ON VENT AND AIR CONDITIONER SETTINGS WITH THE DIAL ON COLD. THE DRIVER'S SIDE WORKS FINE.
THE DRIVER'S SIDE SLIDING DOOR IS STUCK IN THE LOCKED POSITION. IT WILL BOT OPEN MANUALLY OR WITH THE KEY FOB. THE MESSAGE SAYS TO UNLOCK THE DOOR BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO OPEN THE DOOR BUT IT WILL BOT OPEN. THIS VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 50K MILES ON IT WHEN THE DOOR GOT STUCK. IT IS EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT WHEN A LOT OF PEOPLE WITH VANS HAVE SMALL CHILDREN. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER COMPLAINTS OF THE EXACT SAME ISSUE ONLINE. I BELIEVE THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE SLIDING DOORS LOCKING AS WELL. THE PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR WILL OPEN AFTER BEING LOCKED AND THE ALARM WILL SOUND. THIS IS BAD BECAUSE ANYONE CAN GET INTO YOUR CAR EVEN WITH IT LOCKED. THE LOCKING MECHANISMS IN THESE VANS NEED TO BE RECALLED AND FIXED ASAP! THANK YOU!
PASSENGER SIDE REAR POWER SLIDING DOOR IS LOCKED SHUT. IT WILL NOT UNLOCK MANUALLY OR VIA KEY OR INTERIOR UNLOCKING BUTTON. THERE IS NO WAY TO OPEN THIS DOOR. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN; IF ANYTHING WERE TO HAPPEN TO REQUIRE THIS DOOR TO BE USED AS AN EMERGENCY EXIT, THERE WOULD BE NO WAY TO GET THE PASSENGERS OUT OF THE VEHICLE.
DRIVER SIDE SLIDING DOOR IS STUCK IN LOCK POSITION AND CANNOT BE MANUALLY OR OTHERWISE UNLOCKED FROM THE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE. JUST HAPPENED ONE DAY NOTHING SPECIFICALLY TRIGGERED THE DOOR TO BE STUCK. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY.
THE PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR AUTOMATICALLY LOCKED WHILE I WAS DRIVING AS IT SHOULD. HOWEVER ONCE THE LOCK ENGAGED, IT WOULD NOT UNLOCK AND THE DOOR BECAME INOPERABLE FROM BOTH THE INSIDE AND THE OUTSIDE. THIS IS INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS, BECAUSE IF THERE WAS AN EMERGENCY I OR FIRST RESPONDERS COULD NOT QUICKLY GET TO MY SON, ESPECIALLY IF THE OTHER DOOR WERE TO FAIL IN THE SAME WAY.

WHEN I PULLED OUT OF THE SPACE (FORWARD) THE TRANSMISSION WAS LOCKED IN FIRST GEAR. DROVE HOME AT 15 MPH ABOUT 7 MILES DISTANCE. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER, PURCHASED FROM THE DEALERSHIP. I BELIEVE DODGE HAS INSTALLED A BATCH OF BAD ACTUATORS FOR THESE DOORS. SEARCHING THE INTERNET I HAVE FOUND THIS IS HAPPENING A LOT.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO STEVE WHITE DODGE(3470 HWY 70 SE, NEWTON, NC) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE WIRE HARNESS, BATTERY, AND ALTERNATOR WERE FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND A REPRESENTATIVE WAS SENT TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.
I HAD BEEN HAVING ISSUES WITH THE GAUGES STARTED FLASHING AND GOING CRAZY ON THE 2ND DAY AFTER HAVING IT. THEN AT TIMES I WOULD BE LOCKED OUT FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME. AFTER THE OIL PUMP IN THE TRANSMISSION WENT OUT I HAD IT CHECKED FOR CODES AND IT SHOWED U0141 AS BEING STORED. AFTER THE TRANSMISSION WAS FIXED THEY WERE IN THE PROCESS OF DELIVERING IT BACK AND IT STARTED ACTING UP ON THEIR WAY WITH IT. AFTER TALKING TO THE DEALER TODAY THEY TELL ME IT IS THE TIPM AND IT IS THROWING 35 CODES. THIS IS NOT SAFE CAUSING YOU TO LOSE POWER WHILE DRIVING OR VEHICLE NOT STARTING OR BEING LOCKED OUT IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION
