I HAVE RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE, IN JUNE I WAS TOLD MY VEHICLE WAS 'ON THE LIST' FOR REPAIR. IT IS NOW ALMOST THE END OF AUGUST AND MY VEHICLE IS STILL 40 DOWN ON THE LIST. DODGE IS SENDING ONE OUT AT A TIME - AND WILL NOT SEND A NEW ONE UNTIL THE DEALER CAN DEMONSTRATE INSTALLATION OF THE LAST ONE SENT. MY CAR RANDOMLY WONT START AT TIMES, JUST WONT START. THIS IS A SAFETY BASED RECALL AND THESE TIME DELAYS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. I WAS NOW TOLD TODAY THAT THERE HAVE BEEN MORE RECALLS, BASED ON MORE SPECIFIC PART LIST- AND AS SUCH THE THE LIST WILL BE JIGGLED BASED ON THE ACTUAL PART I NEED. HOW DO IS THIS ACCEPTABLE- ITS NOT THE DEALERS, MY CAR IS UNSAFE AND DODGE WILL NOT SHIP PARTS IN A TIMELY MANNER.

I RECEIVED SAFETY RECALL NOTICE- L25/NHTSA 14V-373 WHICH INFORMED ME TO TAKE MY CAR TO THE DEALER TO HAVE A POSSIBLE SAFETY CONDITION WITH THE FOBIK REPAIRED/REPLACED. IT STATED THAT THE ENGINE MAY SHUTOFF DURING OPERATION AS WELL AS AIR BAGS AND COULD INCREASE CRASH RISK AND OCCUPANT INJURY. AFTER A LENGTHY WAIT OF ALMOST 4 MONTHS OR SO FOR PARTS I TOOK MY VEHICLE TO THE DEALER. I SHOWED THEM THE SAFETY NOTICE PRIOR TO THE WORK BEING DONE AND THEY INFORMED ME I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR A KEY SHANK. I DISPUTED WITH THEM THAT THE NOTICE SAYS PARTS AND LABOR WERE FREE OF CHARGE. I STILL HAD TO PAY $37.31 FOR THE KEY SHANK THEY GAVE ME SOME TYPE OF EXPLANATION BUT I AM STILL NOT HAPPY THAT I HAD TO PAY ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY BECAUSE THE NOTICE CLEARLY SAYS PARTS AND LABOR FREE OF CHARGE. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL SAFETY NOTICE AND RECEIPTS FROM THE REPAIR WORK.

SATURDAY AUG 8TH MY VEHICLE CUT OFF IN TRAFFIC WENT TO KIEIFFER DODGE COULD NOT GET AN ANSWER AFTER SEVERAL CALLS FINALLY WAS TOLD THEY DO NOT HAVE RECALLED PART IN AND CAN NOT ORDER IT ALL THEY CAN DO IS WAIT FOR THEM TO SEEN PART TO THEM . CALLED RECALL ASSISTANCE CENTER 1-800-853-1403 , WAS TOLD THE DEALERSHIP WAS CORRECT I COULD TAKE IT IN TO HAVE DIGNOSTIC RAN TO VERIFY THE RECALL IS THE REASON IT SHUT OFF IN TRAFFIC AND IF SO THEY COULD SEND THEM A PART IN 3 TO 5 BUSINESS DAYS. WHAT IS A RECALL FOR IF THEY ARE NOT GOING TO SEND THE PARTS WHEN THAY HAVE A RECALL . WILL THEY START SENDING THE PARTS WHEN ENOUGH PEOPLE ARE KILLED FROM STALLING IN TRAFFIC.

I WENT TO START MY VEHICLE AND IT FAILED TO START AGAIN, THE STARTER KEPT TRYING TO START BY CLICKING THE BATTERY TERMINAL THEN BEGAN SMOKING AND CAUSE THE CASING TO MELT, 3RD BATTERY IN 3 YEARS.
