I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW DODGE JOURNEY IN APRIL 2009, THIS IS JUNE 2010 AND I HAVE 17,459 MILES ON IT. BRAKES STARTED SQUEALING WHEN I BACK OUT OF MY GARAGE AND SOMETIMES WHEN I'M PULLING UP TO STOP SIGN OR RED LIGHT. HAD THEM CHECKED WITH MY REGULAR OLL CHANGE AND WAS INFORMED TODAY THAT I HAD LESS THAN 10% LEFT ON MY FRONT BRAKES!!!!!!! I LIVE ON A BARRIER ISLAND FOR GOSH SAKES, I'D HAVE TO RIDE THE BRAKES 24/7 TO WEAR THEM OUT THAT FAST! CALLED DODGE CORP. AND THEY SAY ITS NOT COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY AFTER 12,000. MILES, HA!!!!! I TRADED IN A NEW CHEVY IMPALA WITH GREATER THAN 60,000 MILES AND STILL HAD 40 % LEFT ON THE BRAKES AND I WAS THE DRIVER......THIS IS DEFINITELY A DEFAULT IN MATERIALS AND HAS TO BE ADDRESSED BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED. I WASN'T EVEN GOING TO ASK THEM TO LOOK AT IT AS I WOULD NEVER SUSPECT A NEW CAR NEEDING BRAKES. I MAKE A NEW CAR PAYMENT SO I WON'T HAVE REPAIR BILLS, THIS IS NOT RIGHT. FROM WHAT I HAVE RESEARCHED THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH DODGE AND HAS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED. *TR
GRINDING NOISE WHEN DRIVING SLOW, TAPPING THE GAS WOULD MAKE IT GO AWAY, CALLED TO HAVE IT SERVICES, AND TWO DAYS BEFORE I WAS SCHEDULED THE BRAKE PADS SLIPPED OFF AND I HAD TO DRIVE HOME METAL ON METAL, THEN HAD TO REPLACE BRAKES AND ROTORS UNDER 27,000 MILES. RUBBING NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT WHEN YOU TURN CORNERS, AND A WHINING NOISE COMING FROM THE BACK, AND CHRYSLER MECHANICS STATED THEY HAVE RECEIVED A LOT OF COMPLAINTS BUT NOT TO WORRY, BECAUSE THEY CANNOT FIND ANYTHING SERIOUS GOING ON. *TR
WE BOUGHT THAT CAR A YEAR AGO BRAND NEW, EARLIER THIS WEEK WE HEARD GRINDING WHICH WE THOUGHT WAS ABNORMAL AND TOOK TO DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THE BRAKES ARE SO BAD THEY COULD GO OUT AT ANY MINUTE. WE DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO FIX IT AND IT IS NOT COVERED SO IT IS NOT SAFE TO EVEN DRIVE THE CAR. THIS IS WAY TOO EARLY AND FROM WHAT I FOUND ONLINE, EVERYONE IS HAVING THIS ISSUE. WE NEED A RECALL. *TR

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR BRAKE REPAIRS AND AN ALIGNMENT WHEN HE WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE DID NOT HAVE A STABILIZER BAR INSTALLED. THE DEALER ADVISED THAT BECAUSE THE COMPONENT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY, HE WOULD BE LIABLE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A STABILIZER BAR. THE CONTACT WAS CONSIDERED BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURER INCORRECTLY AND WITHOUT THE STABILIZER BAR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 41,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE INTERIOR LIGHTS WOULD FAIL SPORADICALLY. THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED TWICE OVER A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS BUT THE FAILURE WAS RECURRING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER AND DIAGNOSED THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR SWITCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 84,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ONE OF THE SEAMS ON THE GAS TANK WAS SPLITTING IN HALF AND LEAKING FUEL. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. WHEN THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, HE WAS TOLD ABOUT THE CRACK IN THE GASOLINE TANK. WHEN THE DEALER APPLIED PRESSURE TO THE SYSTEM THEY WERE ABLE TO SEE THE FUMES COMING FROM THE LEAK. THE VEHICLE WAS BEING REPAIRED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 40000.
BAD BRAKES ON 2009 DODGE JOURNEY SXT. HAD TO REPLACE FRONT BRAKES AT 22,700 MILES AND THEN REPLACE THE BACK BRAKES AT 30,200 MILES. THAT INCLUDES PADS AND ROTORS. TOTAL COST $700. *TR
2009 DODGE JOURNEY WITH LESS JUST OVER 23,000 MILES NEEDED ALL NEW BRAKES AND ROTORS. THE BACK BRAKES WERE COMPLETELY SHOT AND MY CAR WAS RELYING COMPLETELY ON THE FRONT BRAKES. NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. ALSO HAD TO HAVE THE FRONT RIGHT TIE-ROD REPLACED - SO LOOSE THE TIRE WAS READY TO FALL OFF. NOW NEED AN ENTIRELY NEW TRANSMISSION (24,000 MILES NOW). THEY DO SEE THE TRANSMISSION ISSUE AS A PROBLEM, BUT JUSTIFIED THE BRAKES GOING (TOLD ME IT WAS THE WAY I DRIVE) AND THE TIE-ROD (LOTS OF POTHOLES IN THE AREA). IT'S INSANE THAT NO-ONE AT THIS DEALERSHIP SEEMS TO THINK THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS CAR, BUT I KNOW I GOT A LEMON. THEY AREN'T EVEN PAYING FOR A LOANER CAR - I HAVE TO PAY FOR A RENTAL WHILE IT WILL LIKELY BE IN THE SHOP FOR OVER A WEEK. *TR
BRAKES CONTINUE TO GO BAD. VEHICLE CALLS FOR NUMEROUS BRAKE CHANGES INCLUDING THE ROTORS AS WELL. DODGE NOTIFIED AND NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED. ALSO THEIR VALVE STEMS ARE BREAKING IN HALF IN COLD WEATHER. CAUSING TIRES AIR TO DEPLETE WITHIN 8 SECONDS. I HAVE THE VALVE STEM FROM MY CAR THAT BROKE AND THE OTHER WAS REPLACED EARLIER UNDER WARRANTY. IF THIS VALVE STEM WAS TO BREAK IN HALF WHILE AT HIGH SPEEDS ON THE HIGHWAY, SOMEONE COULD BE KILLED. *TR
INTERIOR DASH LIGHTS DIM OR TURN OFF COMPLETELY WHEN WIPERS OR OTHER ELECTRONIC CONTROLS ARE OPERATED. THIS HAS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES. *TR
NHTSA IT ALL STARTED WHEN I BOUGHT MY JOURNEY: NICE LOOKING BUT VERY, VERY BAD EXPERIENCE 1.TRANSMISSION, IT CHANGE SPEED BY ITSELF. IT CHANGE SPEED FROM 80 MPH TO 40, THEN 70 MPH TO 30 MPH.. I WAS DRIVING IN THE EXPRESSWAY AND THIS CHANGE OF SPEED HAPPEN TO ME SEVERAL TIMES. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THAT THEY COULD NOT FOUND THE PROBLEM, AFTER SO MANY INCIDENTS I GOT MAD TO THE DEALER AND TOLD THEM THAT MY LIFE IS AT RISK BECAUSE THE CAR CHANGE SPEED BY ITSELF THAT THEY HAVE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. THEY FINALLY FIX THE CAR. 2.BRAKES, I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE BRAKES TOO. THEY RUN FAST AND HAVE TO KEEP CHANGING THEM. 3.BATTERY, I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE BATTERY TOO. I HAVE TOLD THEM NUMEROUS TIMES TOO CHECK THE BATTERY, BECAUSE THE CAR DOES NOT WANT TO START AND THEY KEEP TELLING ME THAT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE BATTERY. SO MY QUESTION TO THEM IS THE FOLLOWING IF THE BATTERY IS GOOD., WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? I HAVE TO TURN ON THE SWITCH SEVERAL TIMES UNTIL THE CAR START. THEY SAID THAT THEY CANNOT FIND THE PROBLEM. AND NOW THE LATEST PROBLEM!!!!!!!! 4.STEERING, EVERY TIME I TURN THE WHEELS THE CAR MAKE A WEAR SOUND LIKE AN OLD CAR 5.CAR DOES NOT TURN OFF. NOW MY CAR DOES NOT WANT TO TURN OFF THE DEALER SAID THAT I BOUGHT THE CAR AND THAT NOW THE CAR IS MINE AND I HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF IT. YEAH RIGHT!!! SO MY QUESTION IS THE FOLLOWING WHAT IS NHTSA GOING TO DO ABOUT IT WHILE CHRYSLER IGNORE THEIR CUSTOMERS COMPLAINTS AND NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY. IN THE MEAN TIME WE THE CONSUMERS HAVE TO PAY FOR CHRYSLER POOR PERFORMANCE, ETC. DODGE JOURNEY SHOULD BE REMOVE FROM THE MARKET. AND WE AS CONSUMERS SHOULD BE REIMBURSE OR AT LEAST CHRYSLER SHOULD RECALL ALL CARS. *TR
THIS VEHICLE MODEL HAS AN OBVIOUS PREMATURE BRAKE WEAR/FAILURE PROBLEM. I REPLACED THE FRONT PADS A YEAR AGO, VERY EARLY IN THE LIFE OF THE VEHICLE AS COMPARED TO NORMAL BRAKE WEAR. I HAVE NOW ALSO HAD TO REPLACE THE REAR PADS AND HAVE THE REAR ROTORS CUT. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE FRONT PADS AND ROTORS ALSO HAVE TO BE REPLACED DUE TO EXCESSIVE WEAR. THE ROTORS ARE TOO THIN AND MUST BE REPLACED. I DRIVE MOSTLY HIGHWAY MILES. I DO NOT RIDE MY BRAKES. I AM A VERY CONSERVATIVE DRIVER. YET, I HAVE HAD TO SPEND ABOUT $700 FOR BRAKES WITHIN A YEAR. AND, ALL OF THAT BEFORE A NORMAL BRAKE ISSUE SHOULD OCCUR ON A VEHICLE. I HAVE READ MANY OTHER COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS ISSUE ON THE INTERNET. AND, THERE ARE ALREADY AT LEAST 2 CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS FILED RELATED TO IT - IN CA AND NJ. PLEASE INVESTIGATE AND FORCE CHRYSLER TO FIX THE BRAKING SYSTEM ON THESE VEHICLES.
FRONT BRAKES ROTORS AND PADS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AT 12000 MILES, REAR BRAKES PADS AND ROTORS REPLACED AT 20000 MILES AND FRONT BRAKES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AGAIN AT SAME TIME STEERING WHEEL VIBRATES HORRIBLY DEALER SAID NEEDED REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT AND 2 NEW TIRES AT 20000 MILES HAD IT DONE BRAKES STILL SQUEALING AND GRINDING AND DEALER SAYS "CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG" STEERING WHEEL STARTING TO VIBRATE AGAIN AT 23000 MILES DEALER SAYS NOTHING WRONG CAN'T HEAR SQUEAKS IN BRAKES UNBELIEVABLE IT IS EAR PIERCING AND THEY GRIND INTERMITTENTLY I AM SURE SOON TO BE GRINDING CONTINUALLY AND THEN THEY WILL TELL ME I NEED NEW BRAKES AGAIN HAVE SPENT 1200.00 DOLLARS OUT OF POCKET VEHICLE ISN'T EVEN PAID FOR YET I HAVE LOST FAITH IN CHRYSLER AND DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO CAN'T AFFORD THESE COSTLY REPAIRS ON A CAR THAT IS BASICALLY NEW I AM AFRAID THAT ONE TIME THE BRAKES WILL FAIL COMPLETELY THAT IS HOW FAST THEY WEAR OUT. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THE FRONT BRAKES AND ROTORS HAD TO BE REPLACED AT 13000 MILES AND THE REAR ROTORS HAD TO BE RESURFACED AT 17000 MILES. THE SERVICE MANAGER AT THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY ARE AWARE THAT THE BRAKES AND ROTORS DETERIORATED EARLIER THAN EXPECTED, BUT WHEN THE REAR ROTORS WERE REPLACED, THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THIS WAS NOT A COMMON OCCURRENCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 13000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 19000.

WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY BETWEEN 50 AND 55 MPH ON A MOUNTAIN ROAD, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS APPLIED AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO VIBRATE SEVERELY WITH A SQUEALING NOISE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE FRONT BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS WERE REPLACED. THE IDENTICAL FAILURES OCCURRED ON A SEPARATE OCCASION WHICH INVOLVED THE REAR BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS. THE CONTACT EXPRESSED CONCERN OF THE PREMATURE BRAKE WEAR AT SUCH LOW MILEAGE. THE VEHICLE WAS BEING TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 28,000. UPDATED 11/16/10. *LJ
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AS SHE WAS ATTEMPTING TO STOP, THE VEHICLE DID NOT RESPOND IMMEDIATELY. SHE FELT A SHIMMY IN THE STEERING WHEEL AND HAD TO PUMP THE BRAKES TO GET THE VEHICLE TO STOP. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE ROTORS NEEDED TO BE TURNED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A REPAIR CENTER WHERE SHE WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING LEFT OF THE FRONT BRAKES. THE BRAKES WERE REPLACED AT THE REPAIR CENTER. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO STATED THAT THEY WOULD REIMBURSE HER FOR THE REPAIR. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 16,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH WHEN PRESSURE WAS APPLIED TO THE BRAKES THE CONTACT COULD HEAR A SQUEAKING NOISE. THE FAILURE RECURRED WHENEVER THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED. AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WAS NOTIFIED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THIS WAS A KNOWN FAILURE AND HE WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR COST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 19,500 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 20,300.
TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM ON 2009 DODGE JOURNEY. VALVE STEMS HAVE METAL THREADS AT END THAT WERE BROKEN PRIOR TO PURCHASE OF VEHICLE. DEALER WORKING TO REPLACE, BUT HAVE BEEN TOLD THERE IS A LARGE NUMBER (APPROX. 20,000 ON BACK ORDER) AND IT IS UNKNOWN WHEN PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE. APPARENTLY, THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM AFFECTING CHRYSLER/DODGE VEHICLES. I CURRENTLY HAVE THREE TIRES THAT I CAN CHECK AIR AND ADD AIR AS NECESSARY, BUT DIFFICULT WITH BROKEN VALVE STEMS. ON THE FOURTH TIRE, THE THREADS ARE COMPLETELY BROKEN AND MISSING MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO CHECK AIR PRESSURE OR ADD AIR. THE TIRE MONITORING SYSTEM CONTINUALLY WARNS OF LOW AIR PRESSURE - DEALER SAYS IT IS A MALFUNCTION AND TO IGNORE. PARTS AVAILABILITY IS AN UNKNOWN. SAFETY OF VEHICLE AND OCCUPANTS IS QUESTIONABLE WITH DEFECTIVE SYSTEM. *TR
I HAVE A 2009 DODGE JOURNEY. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY INJURIES ASSOCIATED WITH THE ISSUE, HOWEVER FEEL AS THOUGH THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY FOR INJURY TO OCCUR. THE CAR IS 2 YEARS OLD AND ALREADY THE ROTORS HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED AS BEING WARPED 3 TIMES, ONE OF WHICH THE CAR HAD ONLY BEEN DRIVEN 6000 MILES SINCE THE WARPAGE AND THEN WARPED AGAIN. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. THERE IS ALSO A PROBLEM WITH THE SUSPENSION. DUE TO THE FACT THAT ALL THIS IS OCCURRING, I FEEL AS THOUGH THIS COULD LEAD TO MAJOR SAFETY ISSUES. *TR
I PURCHASED MY 2009 DODGE JOURNEY IN MAY 2008 -- AT 17,000 MILES AND 2 YEARS LATER I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT MY FRONT BRAKES ARE TOTALLY WORN AND ROTORS CAN NOT BE TURNED AND NEED TO BE REPLACED. I RECEIVED NO WARNING OF THE BRAKING FAILURE OTHER THAN ONE DAY GRINDING AND SQUEAKING NOISES WHILE I DRIVE. I TOOK MY CAR TO THE SHOP THAT DAY !!! HOW CAN A BRAKING SYSTEM GO BAD IN ONE DAY WITH NO WARNING? I'VE BEEN TOLD BY CHRYSLER THAT THIS IS NORMAL WEAR AND IT WAS NOT COVERED ... HOW CAN A BRAKING SYSTEM FAIL IN 2 YEARS !!! WHEN I MENTIONED THE NUMEROUS POSTS FROM CONSUMERS ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEM. THEY OFFERED NO OTHER EXPLANATION OTHER THAN "THEY MUST BE USING SOFT PADS ... BUT WE STILL DO NOT COVER THIS UNDER THE WARRANTY. " *TR
HAVING A FAIRLY NEW VEHICLE 2009 DODGE JOURNEY I JUST NEEDED TO GET NEW BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS I CAN BELIEVE HOW BAD THE BRAKE WERE AT 25,000 MILES. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE CALIPER LOCKED WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH. WHEN THE CALIPERS LOCK THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO VIBRATE AND BECAME DIFFICULT TO STEER. THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE DEALERS POSSESSION FOR A MONTH. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE REASON THE REPAIR TOOK SO LONG WAS DUE TO THE LACK OF PARTS IN THE U.S. THE CONTACT DOES NOT KNOW WHY THE MANUFACTURER DOES NOT HAVE PARTS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,800.

THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V373000 (AIR BAGS, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, BUT COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.

THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL STIFFENED AND PREVENTED THE VEHICLE FROM ACCELERATING. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKES, ROTORS, AND CALIPERS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
BRAKES MAKING A SCRAPING NOISE, MULTIPLE REPAIR ATTEMPTS. TOLD NOT TO DRIVE CAR UNTIL CALIPER AND BRACKET FIXED. HAVE ALREADY HAD TO REPLACE HUB AND BEARINGS, CALIPER AND BRACKET IN FRONT, FRONT BRAKES AND ROTORS AND BACK BRAKES AND ROTORS. WAS TOLD BY THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE AT DEALERSHIP THAT I WOULD PROBABLY HAVE TO REPLACE BRAKES EVERY YEAR. *TR
2009 DODGE JOURNEY. CONSUMER STATES PROBLEM WITH TIRES. *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED AFTER HE LEFT THE DEALERSHIP, HE EXPERIENCED A FLAT TIRE. ONCE HE ARRIVED HOME, HE DISCOVERED TWO MORE VALVE STEMS HAD FALLEN OFF. THE VALVE STEMS HAD FALLEN OFF DUE TO CORROSION. *JB

THE CONTACT REPLACED THE BRAKES, BRAKE FLUID, TRANSMISSION FLUID, AND THE FRONT ROTORS FOR $738.23. THE MANUFACTURE WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 80,000.

BY 12,000 MILES THE BRAKE PADS WERE COMPLETELY WORN AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. BY 46,000 MILES THE FRONT BRAKE PADS HAD BEEN REPLACED 4 TIMES AND THE ROTORS WERE SERVICED AS WELL AS THE REAR BRAKES BEING REPLACED TWICE AND THE REAR ROTORS WERE REPLACED ONCE. THE WARRANTY DID NOT COVER ANY OF THESE REPAIRS. ON APRIL 29 AT APPROX 10:30 THE BRAKES GAVE OUT COMPLETELY. THEY DID NOT ENGAGE AT ALL WHICH RESULTED IN REAR ENDING A CHARTER BUS ON A BUSY STREET. THERE WEREN'T EVEN SKID MARKS INDICATING THAT THE BRAKES HAD BEEN ENGAGED AT ALL. TO TOP IT OFF, WHEN WE TRIED TO MOVE THE VEHICLE OFF THE ROAD, THE BRAKES WOULDN'T EVEN ENGAGE ENOUGH TO ALLOW THE GEAR TO BE SHIFTED OUT OF PARK. *TR

AT 11156 THE CAR WENT IN FOR BRAKE ISSUES AND THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE FRONT BRAKE PADS. AT 11574 THE CAR WENT IN ONCE AGAIN FOR BRAKE VIBRATION AND THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED BOTH FRONT ROTORS. AT 16049 THE REPLACED ROTORS WERE RESURFACED. AT 17669 AGAIN FOR BRAKE VIBRATION BUT THE DEALERSHIP COULD NOT DUPLICATE PROBLEM. AT 20554 THE FRONT ROTORS WERE REPLACED ONCE AGAIN. AT 23669 THE 2ND SET OF ROTORS WERE RESURFACED. AT 24944 THE ROTORS AGAIN WERE REPLACED FOR THE 3RD TIME. NOW IT SEEMS TO ME THIS MIGHT BE A DEFECT ON THE BRAKES, BUT ACCORDING TO THE DISTRICT MANAGER AT CHRYSLER IT IS MY DRIVING THAT IS CAUSING THE BRAKES TO GET BAD. I HAVE BEEN LUCKY THAT DODGE HAS NOT CHARGED ME UP UNTIL THIS WEEK. DODGE WILL NO LONGER REPAIR THE BRAKES BECAUSE ACCORDING TO THE DISTRICT MANAGER "IT IS NOT THE CAR, BUT MY DRIVING".
