THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WILL SHUT COMPLETELY DOWN WHILE DRIVING THE CAR. THE WIND SHIELD WIPERS WILL COME ON BY ITSELF, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TURN THEM OFF. THE COOLING AND HEATING SYSTEM WILL SHUT DOWN. DURING THIS TIME, YOU CANNOT USE YOUR POWER WINDOWS. EVERY WARNING WILL COME ON. THIS CAR IS A NIGHTMARE.
2010 DODGE JOURNEY - ON JULY 8, 2019 MY WIFE STOPPED AT A LOCAL STATION FOR GAS BUT WHEN SHE PULLED OUT OF THE STATION SHE LOST ALL DASHBOARD LIGHTS. THE RADIO WAS PLAYING BUT THE CONTROLS WERE NOT WORKING TO TURN THE RADIO DOWN OR OFF. SHE DECIDED THAT SINCE THE VEHICLE SEEMED TO BE RUNNING OKAY SHE WOULD CONTINUE TO HER NEXT STOP. WHEN SHE ARRIVED AT HER NEXT STOP SHE PULLED INTO A PARKING SPOT. ALL DASH LIGHTS ETC WERE STILL OFF. WHILE DEPRESSING THE BRAKE AND ATTEMPTING TO PLACE THE CAR IN PARK THE RPM'S INCREASED DRAMATICALLY AND SHE LUNGED FORWARD AND CRASHED INTO THE BUILDING. THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY AND THE HEADLIGHTS WERE NOT DAMAGED. HOWEVER GIVE THE DAMAGED CASED BY THE FALLEN DEBRIS AND SOME UNDER CARRIAGE DAMAGE THE CAR WAS DETERMINED A TOTAL LOSS. SINCE THERE WERE NO RECALLS FOR THE SUDDEN ACCELERATION PROBLEM THERE SEEM TO BE NO INTEREST ON THE PART OF THE CHRYSLER DEALER OR MY INSURANCE AGENT TO INVESTIGATE THE CRASH ANY FURTHER.
WHEN TRYING TO START THE VEHICLE, IT WILL NOT START . IT JUST CLICKS AND THE LIGHTS A AND EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS, IT JUST WILL NOT TURN OVER AND START
THE HORN BLOWS CONTINUOUSLY OUT OF NO WHERE. I HAVE CHANGED THE BATTERY ON THE VEHICLE AFTER I HAD ONE COMPLETELY DEAD. IT WAKES UP NEIGHBORS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. MY ALTERNATOR IS GOOD AND PROVIDES THE CORRECT AMPERAGE. IT HONKS WHEN STARTED, SITTING STILL AND OFF AND ALL THE TIME. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 6 MONTHS NOW.
HEADLIGHTS STOPPED WORKING ON AND OFF WHILE DRIVING. HAD TO REPLACE $1000 ELECTRICAL PANEL. AIRBAG LIGHT WILL NOT GO OFF. IGNITION SWITCH, ACCELERATION SWITCH, BRAKE SWITCH, AND CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH ALL NEEDING REPLACED AFTER THIS WAS DONE. EGR VALVE PROBLEMS. MY CAR JUMPS, ACCELERATION PROBLEMS WHILE DRIVING, BRAKES LESS SENSITIVE AND HAVING TO STOP FROM A DISTANCE, CRUISE CONTROL WORKS THEN STOPS WORKING WHILE DRIVING. WINDOW SWITCH,MOTOR AND WIRING REPLACED ON DRIVERS SIDE AND WORKS SOMETIMES BUT MOSTLY DOESN'T WORK. *TR
HORN RANDOMLY GOES OFF WHILE DRIVING OR PARKED
WIN CONTROL MODULE FOR KEYLESS ENTRY ISSUE- I LOOKED UP THE ISSUE ON GOOGLE AND THEIR HAVE BEEN MAMY REPORT OF WIN CONTROL MODULE GOING OUT ON DODGE JOURNEY OUT OF THE BLUE. I PURCHASED MY CAR NEW IN 2011 AND WITH NO WARNING STOP WORKING TO THE POINT I CAN EVEN START MY CAR BECAUSE THE ANTITHEFT LIGHT KEEPS ACTIVATING DUE TO THE COMPUTER MODULE.
IGNITION MODULE WENT OUT IN DRIVEWAY. WOULD TURN THE CAR TO OFF, TAKE THE KEY OUT, BUT THE CAR WOULD CONTINUE TO RUN. YOU CAN DRIVE THE CAR WITHOUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION. TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP, THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE IGNITION MODULE AND REPLACE TWO OF MY CAR KEYS. DROVE THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP WITHOUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION.
CAR WAS DRIVEN 180 MILES,THEN TURNED OFF FOR 30 MINUTES, ATTEMPTED TO RESTART CAR. POWER WENT TO THE GAUGES, BUT ENGINE DID NOT TURN OVER (NO STARTING NOISE). JUMP STARTING THE BATTERY DID NOT WORK. ENGINE TURNED OVER AFTER TURNING THE FOB KEY A 7TH TIME. DEALERSHIP REPLACED BATTERY, ALTERNATOR, AND STARTER. PROBLEM STILL OCCURRING WHEN VEHICLE IS STATIONARY - IT'S AN APPARENT RANDOM ABILITY TO START ENGINE. MECHANIC IS STUMPED. INTERNET COMMENTS STATE THAT CHRYSLER-BRAND CARS HAVE APPARENTLY BEEN DOGGED WITH POWER MODULE FAILURES FOR YEARS, WHICH CAN CAUSE AIRBAG NON-DEPLOYMENT, FIRES, STALLING, UNINTENDED ACCELERATION, HEADLAMP PROBLEMS, AND DAMAGE TO OTHER COMPONENTS. IN PARTICULAR, 2007 TO 2014 MODEL YEAR CARS ARE SAID TO BE AFFECTED. A CALIFORNIA LAWSUIT SUCCEEDED IN OBTAINING REIMBURSEMENT FOR TIPM (FUSE BOX) REPLACEMENTS, DIAGNOSIS, RENTAL CAR EXPENSES, AND UNNECESSARY REPAIRS DONE TO FIX A NON-START OR STALL CONDITION AS A RESULT OF A VEHICLE'S TIPM FUEL PUMP RELAY FAILURE. ODDLY ENOUGH, BEFORE THE NON-START PROBLEM OCCURRED THE VEHICLE'S HORN WOULD ENGAGE WHILE THE CAR WAS PARKED (AND NOT ACCIDENTALLY TURNED ON VIA WIRELESS FOB). MECHANIC COULD NOT FIND REASON FOR THAT, EITHER.
THE HORN JUST RANDOMLY SOUNDS OFF WITHOUT ANY WARNING OR THE CAR IS ON. IT DOES IT ALL NIGHT LONG. IT WILL BEEP WHILE DRIVING, IN PARK, TURNED OFF, OR ON. NOT JUSTIFICATION REASON AS TO WHY. HAD TO REMOVE FUSES TO SHUT IT OFF. IT STARTED SUNDAY, JUNE 23RD AND HAS CONTINUED DAILY UP UNTIL REMOVING FUSES THIS MORNING.
INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR STARTING, LIGHTS WILL FLICKER AND CAR WILL MAKE CLICKING NOISE AFTER THE INITIAL FLICKER. THE CAR COULD TAKE ANYWHERE FROM A FEW MINUTES TO 1 OR 2 HOURS TO START. WHILE DRIVING THE CAR WILL START TO SHAKE AND THEN SHUT OFF WHEN SLOWING DOWN OR COMING TO A STOP (RED LIGHT OR STOP SIGN). THE CAR SOMETIMES WON'T START UP OR WILL IMMEDIATELY SHUT OFF AGAIN WHILE IN THE MIDDLE OF A CITY STREET. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD BECAUSE WE HAVE TODDLER AND SOON TO BE NEWBORN WHO WILL ALMOST ALWAYS BE IN THE CAR.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN RUNNING/DRIVEN FOR A WHILE, IT WOULD NOT RESTART AFTER IT WAS PARKED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED FOR APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS. THE VEHICLE WOULD BE UNABLE TO RESTART UNTIL THE FOLLOWING DAY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO SUGGESTED THAT IT COULD BE AN ELECTRICAL OR KEY FAILURE. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 139,553.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION GEAR SHIFT BECAME PROGRESSIVELY HARD TO SHIFT INTO GEAR. IT THEN LOCKED INTO PARK AND I HAD TO OPEN THE ACCESS AREA TO RELEASE THE LOCKING MECHANISM. I TOOK IT TO MY INDEPENDENT CAR REPAIR EXPERT AND HAD TO REPLACE THE CABLE TO THE GEAR BOX. THERE IS A LOT OF LABOR INVOLVED IN REPLACEMENT AND WAS A $484.70 REPAIR. WHEN I CALLED THE DODGE DEALER THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE BETWEEN $600-$700 TO REPLACE THE CABLE BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF LABOR, SO I HAD MY INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP REPLACE IT. IT IS NOW IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER. MY REPAIR SHOP SAID THIS ISSUE SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED, AND THAT THE ISSUE IS CAUSED BY WHERE THE CABLE IS PLACED AND NOT PROTECTED WELL.
THE VEHICLE TURNS OFF WHILE DRIVING EVEN ON THE HIGHWAY. VERY DANGEROUS OTHER VEHICLES HAVE A RECALL ON THIS ISSUE JUST NOT MY VIN. THE ENGINE HAS HAD A KNOCK ON IT EVEN AFTER BEING SERVICED.
THE HORN BLOWS ON ITS OWN AT ANY TIME. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF I AM DRIVING OR IF THE CAR IS TURNED OFF. IT DOES THIS AT ALL HOURS OF THE DAY/NIGHT. PUSHING THE CAR ALARM BUTTON OR PANIC BUTTON DOES NOT STOP IT FROM BLOWING. I HAVE MY LOCAL MECHANIC CHECK AND HE STATES THE WIRING IS FINE SO THE PROBLEM MUST BE COMING FROM THE STEERING COLUMN AREA WHERE YOU PUSH TO BLOW THE HORN. THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE IT STOP WAS TO REMOVE THE TWO FUSES FOR THE HORN.
MY CAR IS COMPLETELY LOCKING UP. WE WERE LEAVING FOR THE DAY, I PUT MY TODDLER IN HIS CAR SEAT, GOT INTO THE CAR AND SHUT AND LOCKED THE DOORS. I PUT THE KEY IN AND STARTED IT, BUT NOTHING. THEN NONE OF THE LIGHTS WOULD WORK, THE KEY WAS STUCK IN THE IGNITION, AND THE DOORS WOULD NOT UNLOCK. I HAD TO CLIMB INTO THE BACKSEAT AND UNLOCK THE DOOR BY HAND TO GET US OUT. WE TOOK THE BATTERY OUT AND UP TO GET TESTED, AND IT TESTED FINE. AFTER HOOKING THE BATTERY BACK UP, WE WERE ABLE TO GET THE CAR ON. NEXT DAY SAME THING HAPPENED AND I GOT STRANDED OUT AND HAD TO CALL FOR HELP. I HAVE HAD THE ALTERNATOR REPLACED IN 2016. AFTER CALLING A SHOP TO GET IT IN TO GET IT LOOKED AT, I WAS TOLD THAT THE IGNITION SWITCH IS A KNOWN ISSUE IN THESE CARS AND IT SOUNDED EXACTLY HOW I WAS DESCRIBING THE PROBLEM. I WAS ADVISED TO CHECK FOR A RECALL ON MY SPECIFIC CAR, BUT THERE IS NOT ONE. BUT AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH I DID LEARN THAT CHRYSLER DID ISSUE A RECALL ON 2009-2010 DODGE JOURNEYS FOR THIS SPECIFIC ISSUE. WHY WAS MY CAR NOT RECALLED IF IT FALLS INTO THAT CATEGORY?

THE HEADLIGHTS HAVE STOPPED WORKING. FUSES ARE GOOD AND BULBS ARE GOOD.
ALARM KEEPS GOING OFF
THE CAR WOULD NOT SHUT OFF, WITHOUT WARNING, IT SHUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC ON A CITY STREET. IT STARTED UP AND I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP I PURCHASED IT FROM, THEY HAD TO REMOVE THE GAS FUSE TO STOP IT FROM RUNNING.
TROUBLE STARTING. HAS.HAD SEVERAL INTERMITTENT OCCURANCES. HAVVE BEEN ABLE TO SHIFT TO NEUTRAL AND START THE VEHICLE. COULD IT BE A POSSIBLE GROUNDING PROBLEM?

STEERING COLUMN CONTROL MODULE HAS GONE BAD. DRIVING DOWN RODE AND STARTS SHAKING UNCONTROLLABLE WHILE HARD TO STOP. LOOKED UP RECALL AND SEE IT WAS RECALLED ON 2009 BUT NOT 2010 YET.
THE CAR WILL NOT START SOMETIMES, WITH NO REASONING BEHIND IT. BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR HAVE BOTH BEEN TESTED AS GOOD IN 3 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. I CAN TURN IT AND IT WILL MAKE ONE CLICK BUT NOT TURN OVER AND START. HOWEVER, ALL THE LIGHTS WORKS, I CAN USE POWER LOCKS, RADIO, LIGHTS, CHARGE PORT BUT YET THE CAR WILL NOT TURN OVER AND START. I'VE READ ONLINE TO PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL WHEN THIS HAPPENS AND IT WILL START. I HAVE NOT TRIED IT YET BECAUSE IT HAS NOT HAPPENED SINCE I GOT IT TESTED. EACH TIME IT WILL USUALLY START ON IT'S ON AFTER TURN THE KEY ON AND OFF SEVERAL TIMES. ALSO, THE STARTER HAS BEEN TESTED AND IS IN GOOD CONDITION. ALL REASONING ANYONE CAN GIVE ME IS AN ELECTRICAL DEFECT. IT HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR THE LAST 2 MONTHS AND GETTING MORE FREQUENT.

THE CONTACT CALLED TAYLOR CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP AT 573-364-1233 (LOCATED AT 705 S BISHOP AVE, ROLLA, MO 65401) TO INQUIRE ABOUT THE COST OF THE REPLACEMENT CLOCKSPRING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 163,000.
THE CAR WILL NOT START
VEHICLE RANDOMLY WILL NOT START. BRAKES GO STIFF. ALL LIGHTS RADIO ETC WORKS, CAR JUST REFUSES TO START (IT IS NOT EVEN ATTEMPTING TO START) AFTER A FEW HOURS CAR WILL START
TAKATA RECALL I AM MAKING A COMPLAINT ON MY 2010 DODGE JOURNEY MY HORN GOES OFF SEVERAL TIMES A DAY FOR NO APPARENT REASON IT'S BEEN DOING THIS FOR A FEW MONTHS. I ALSO HAD TO REPLACE 2 ACTUATORS WITHIN 6 MONTHS AND NOW ITS MAKING THE SAME CLICKING NOISE AS BEFORE. THESE CARS NEED TO BE RECALLED.
2010 DODGE JOURNEY WITH 20K MILES, HORN GOES OFF RANDOMLY, SITTING IN GARAGE OR DRIVEWAY, IDLE, NOT RUNNING. KEY FOBS ARE ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER. HORN BEEPS 1 - 3 TIMES, NOT STEADY OR UNIFORM. I'VE HAD IT AT THE DEALERSHIP 5X, THEY CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG AND OF COURSE IT DOESN'T HAPPEN THERE. THEY'VE REPLACED THE WIRING HARNESS FROM DOOR TO DASH ON DRIVERS SIDE AND PUT A HEAT SHRINK TUBE ON A WIRE + DIAGNOSTICS FOR $1,000. I FIND SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ON THE WEB BUT NO RESOLUTIONS. THE DODGE "STAR" TEAM AND THEIR CUSTOMER CARE LINE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO HELP AT ALL. (ZEIGLER DODGE IN DOWNERS GROVE, IL.)
I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE BRAND NEW SINCE I PUT AT LEAST 3-4 SETS OF BRAKES ON THIS CAR AND 2 SETS OF ROTORS A YEAR SINCE OWNING IT. I HAVE 56000 MILES ON MY CAR I KNOW THAT BRAKES AND ROTORS ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY IT'S REGULAR MAINTENANCE ON A VEHICLE. BUT THIS IS OVER KILL. MY CAR IS CURRENTLY IN THE SHOP I BELIEVE THAT MY ANTI LOCK BRAKE PUMP ASSEMBLY IS OUT. I'VE REPLACE THE MASTER CYLINDER AND 2 BRAKE LINES I STILL HAVE NO PEDAL TO SPEAK OF. THE FIRST MONTH I OWNED THIS CAR THE BRAKES AND ROTORS WERE REPLACED BY BARRETH IN WASHINGTON, MO
MY VEHICLE WAS PARKED OUTSIDE MY HOME AND THE HORN STARTED BLOWING ALL BY ITSELF. THIS CONTINUED NO MATTER WHAT I TRIED (PRESSING THE KEY FOB BUTTONS, PRESSING THE HORN MANUALLY, AND STARTING THE VEHICLE). WE FINALLY HAD TO TAKE THE FUSE OUT TO GET IT TO STOP. THE HORN BLEW SO MUCH THE NEIGHBORS CALLED THE POLICE THINKING THAT SOMETHING WAS WRONG.
I STARTED MY 2010 DODGE JOURNEY AND WAS DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE. I BEGAN TO GO AROUND A SHARP CURVE AND REALIZED I HAD LOST ALL POWER STEERING. THIS ALMOST RESULTED IN A CRASH INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE AND THEN ALMOST A BARRICADE. THANKFULLY I WAS ABLE TO SOMEWHAT GAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. MY WIFE AND 10 MONTH OLD BABY WERE ALSO IN THE VEHICLE. I LATER LEARNED THAT THE POWER STEERING RETURN LINE HAD RUPTURED. I WOULD CONSIDER THIS A ISOLATED INCIDENT AND NOT A VEHICLE PROBLEM IF THERE WASN'T ALREADY A RECALL FOR OTHER DODGE JOURNEYS WITH THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM.
I HAVE HAD INTERMITTENT STARTING PROBLEMS, I PUT THE FOB IN , TURN THE KEY , THE DASH LIGHTS COME ON , THERE IS A CLICK , BUT IT WILL NOT TURN OVER. I CAN WAIT FROM A FEW MINUTES TO A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE IT WORKS AGAIN. THERE IS NO SET PATTERN AND WE HAVE HAD EVERYTHING CHECKED. IT LEFT US IN PARKING LOTS AT WORK BEFORE WHILE IT WONT START, CAUSING US TO BE LATE PICKING KIDS UP FROM SCHOOL AND EVEN AT THE STORE. LOOKING ONLINE MANY PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. IF THERE IS THIS MANY OUT THERE WHY IS THERE NOT SOMETHING BEING DONE ABOUT IT?
THIS VEHICLE HAS HAD MULTIPLE ISSUES. STARTER SOUNDS LIKE IT'S STICKING AT START OF ENGINE THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN A PROBLEM SINCE WE GOT THE VEHICLE. IN 2018 I HAD TO REPLACE THE BATTERY AND THE ALTERNATOR BECAUSE THE CAR WOULD SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING, AT ONE POINT WITH MY 5YR OLD DAUGHTER EXITING THE FREEWAY(A VERY SCARY AND EXTREMELY UNSAFE EXPERIENCE) REPLACED WATER PUMP AND TOP FRONT HOSE AFTER I FOUND PUDDLE OF FLUID FROM COOLANT TANK. OTHER WORK DONE ,REPLACED CV JOINTS, LOUD CLICKING WHEN SHARP TURNS WERE MADE AND SHOCKS AND STRUTS REPLACED. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING AS IT DID BEFORE ALTERNATOR WAS FIXED. NOW I'M EXPERIENCING MORE ELECTRICAL ISSUES LIGHTS TURNING ON AND OFF ON THEIR OWN, AC WILL BLOW AIR SOME TIMES AND OTHER TIMES NO AIR AT ALL. THE TRACTION LIGHT COMES ON AND CAR WILL NOT GO OVER 20-30 MPH. GAS WILL NOT REV UP. GOING TO GET CAR TOWED TO THE MECHANIC TODAY TO DIAGNOSE . SEEMS TO BE A LOT OF PEOPLE EXPERIENCING SIMILAR ISSUES WITH THIS VEHICLE MODEL. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE, WILL BE CALLING CHRYSLER AND DODGE DEALERSHIP.
REMOTE STARTER DOESN'T WORK KEYPAD WILL NOT OPEN DOORS ALARM KEEPS GOING OFF WHEN OPENING DOORS WHEN OPENING DOORS ANYTIME
TAKATA RECALL DRAINING BATTERY. HAD THE FUSE BOX REPLCE HELP THE TRAIN GO FROM DEAD OVER NIGHT TO LAST 1.5 DAYS BEFORE IT DIE. CHANGED CLUSTER. WHEN INSERTING THE KEY FOB IN THE IGNITION SOMETIMES, THE CAR MAKES A CLICKING SOUND & WON'T START. TO GET THE CAR TO START WHEN THIS OCCURS, YOU HAVE TO PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL, PUT YOUR FOOT ON THE BRAKE & TURN THE KEY FOB & IT FINALLY STARTS - RIDICULOUS. THE KEY FOB WAS REPLACED WHEN WE RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTICE.AWHILE AGO. RECALL NOTICE #11V-139. THIS ISSUE IS VERY ANNOYING & NEEDS TO BE RECTIFIED. *JS
MY WIFE CAR KEEP STARTING ON ITS OWN. SHE WAS AT WORK A FEW TIMES AND HER COWORKER INFORMED HER HER CAR WAS RUNNING. THERE'S NO LIGHT ON THE DASH THAT WOULD SAY WHAT CAUSES IT.
PERIODICALLY HONKING AT DRIVER IN GARAGE OR ON ROAD. UPDATED SYSTEM SOFTWARE WITH DEALERSHIP AND STOPPED FOR A FEW MONTHS. CAR REFUSED TO TURN OVER UNTIL CONNECTED TO ANOTHER VEHICLE TO JUMP START, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON, HORN STARTED HONKING AGAIN.
I HAVE REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR TWICE SINCE WE BOUGHT IT. BUT THE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON , THE AND LIGHT COMES ON AND THE TRACTION LIGHT COMES ON. SOMETIMES THE JUST FLASH OFF AND ON. THEN THE NEXT TWO TO THREE DAYS THESE LIGHTS ARE PERSISTENTLY ON AND THE CAR DOES NOT WANT TO GO OVER 20 TO 30 MILES PER HOUR. TWO OF THE FOUR CYLINDERS SEEMS TO BE "MISFIRING" OR NOT FIRING AT ALL. ALL THESE THINGS ARE OBVIOUSLY HAPPENING WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING THE VEHICLE. AND SOMETIMES WHEN YOU ARE COMING TO A STOP SIGN OF TRAFFIC LIGHT, THE VEHICLE WILL JUST SHUTDOWN. THEN YOU HAVE TO TRY AND JUMP IT OFF FOR IT TO CRANK AGAIN....IF IT WILL CRANK AT ALL. HAD TO TOW IT TO A GARAGE FOR REPAIR ON MARCH 24, 2019. REPLACED THE BATTERY, ALTERNATOR(FOR THE SECOND TIME), AND SPARK PLUGS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HORN STOPPED WORKING WITHOUT WARNING. THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVERAL TIMES. THE CONTACT CALLED AN UNKNOWN DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE KEY FOB NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 50,000.
MY 2010 DODGE JOURNEY'S HORN STARTED TO GO OFF AND STAYED ON FOR SEVERAL MINUTES. THIS HAPPENS AT ANY TIME, DRIVING OR PARKED WITH NO ONE IN IT.

HORN WOULD RANDOMLY GO OFF AT DIFFERENT TIMES WHEN THE CAR WAS NOT ON AND JUST SITTING WOULD ALSO SOUND RANDOMLY WHILE DRIVING. HORN WOULD BEEP FOR A FEW SECONDS OR JUST BE FULL ON.
THE VEHICLES BATTERY DRAINS OVERNIGHT WITH NOTHING LEFT ON. THE HORN GOES OFF ON ITS OWN WEATHER THE VEHICLES IS IN MOTION OR PARKED. THE VEHICLES CUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREEWAY AND MECHANIC GUY CAN NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. I HAVE SEEN MANY COMPLAINTS FROM CUSTOMERS WITH SAME PROBLEM ON OTHER PLATFORMS ONLINE.
