TRANSMISSION IS NOW SLIPPING
I WAS RIDING DOWN A BUSY HIGHWAY AND DOING 55MPH MY CAR STARTED TO STALL AND JUST CUT OFF, I COULDN'T GET OVER TO THE SLOW LANE ALOT OF TRAFFIC. IT CUTOFF AND I HAD TO GET OUT THE CAR AND WAVE OTHER CARS OFF SO THEY WOULDNT HIT ME. AS I GOT TO A SAFE AREA FROM HELP OF ANOTHER DRIVER THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON. I CUT THE CAR OFF AND CALLED MY HUSBAND AND HE SAID AFTER 10 TO TRY AND START IT BACK UP AND IT DID IT CRUNK BACK UP AND I DROVE SLOWLY HOME WITH HAZARD LIGHTS ON AND WHEN I GOT HOME AND CUT THE CAR OFF I LET IT SIT FOR 10 MINUTES AGAIN AND WHEN I TURNED IT BACK ON THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS OFF. THIS WAS SCARY FOR ME AND WHEN I RESEARCHED THIS PROBLEM IT SHOWS IT'S A RECALL FOR A CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR BUT MY CAR IS NOT IN THE RECALL AND I CANT UNDERSTAND WHY NOT THIS COULD HAVE CAUSE ME AND MY FAMILY TO HAVE DIED BECAUSE OF THIS DODGE NEED TO INCLUDE ALL DODGE JOURNEYS AS I SEE ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE HAVING THIS ISSUE MY MILEAGE IS 68000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO VATLAND CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (855 SOUTH, US-1 VERO BEACH, FL 32962) HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE 108,000.
VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY IN DRIVE WAY. STARTED THE VEHICLE (VERY COLD OUTSIDE), POWER STEERING FLUID STARTING POURING OUT THE BOTTOM OF THE CAR AND THE CAR IS VERY HARD TO STEER. TOOK IT TO THE SHOP AND THEY SAID IT WAS SOMETHING WITH THE POWER STEERING POWER ASSIST HOSE.
WHILE DRIVING THE DRIVER'S SEAT BELT KEEPS COMING OFF. THE A/C KEEPS TURNING ON RANDOMLY WHEN I TURN IT OFF. *TR
MY CAR STARTED SHAKING STOPPED ABRUPTLY THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND I WAS ALMOST REAR ENDED. I FOUND OUT THAT THE PROBLEM WAS A 'CRANK SENSOR' I HAVE SINCE HAD IT REPAIRED BUT WANTED TO REPORT HOW DANGEROUS THIS IS. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND THAT THE SAME MAKE A YEAR HAD BEEN RECALLED DUE TO THIS ISSUE AND I WAS WONDERING WHY MY VIN # WAS NOT. CAN YOU HELP ME SO THAT THIS ISSUE WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN AND A REIMBURSEMENT HAD WELL,
VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AND REMOTE STARTED FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES. WE LOADED UP OUR CHILDREN IN THE CAR AND STARTED SMELLING A STRONG PLASTIC/RUBBER BURNING SMELL THAT STINGS IN THE THROAT. THE SMELL WAS COMING OUT OF THE HEAT VENTS, COULD BE SMELLED OUTSIDE THE CAR AND UNDER THE HOOD. WE SHUT OFF THE VEHICLE AND I LOOKED FOR THE SOURCE OF THE BURNING, BUT DIDN'T IMMEDIATELY FIND IT. AFTER SOME TIME WE RESTARTED AND WAITED ABOUT 5 MINUTES AND IT CAME BACK AGAIN. THIS TIME I LOCATED A GLOWING RED CHASSIS GROUND STRAP WIRE THAT WAS BURNING OFF THE COATING. THE CAR WAS TOWED TO MY HOUSE FOR INSPECTION DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS. I NOTICED THAT THE METHOD OF ATTACHMENT OF THE SHEET METAL CLIP TO THE MOTOR MOUNT SEEMS DUBIOUS AS THIS TYPE OF CONNECTION MAY CAUSE HIGH ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE AND LEAD TO HEAT BUILD-UP. FORTUNATELY THIS HAPPENED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND WE WERE WAITING ON WARM-UP. HAD MY WIFE JUST DRIVEN OFF THE SMOKE SMELL WOULD HAVE BEEN A DISTRACTION AND COULD LEAD TO INCREASED CRASH RISK. ALSO WHEN THE WIRE FINALLY BURNED AND DISCONNECTED THE CIRCUIT, THE VEHICLE COULD HAVE STALLED IN AN VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION AND LEAD TO A CRASH. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AN ABNORMALLY LOUD TAPPING SOUND WAS HEARD COMING FROM THE ENGINE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE VIBRATED ABNORMALLY AND THEN STALLED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO COAST TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND POWER OFF THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AND OPERATED AS INTENDED. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO (PATTY PECK HONDA LOCATED AT 555 SUNNYBROOK, RD, RIDGELAND, MS 39157, (601) 957-34000) AND WAS DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT METAL SHAVINGS WAS FOUND IN THE ENGINE OIL AND THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 99,000.
ENGINE CUTS OFF WHILE GOING DOWN THE ROAD WITHOUT WARNING. THE PROBLEM IS THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. VERY DANGEROUS NEARLY KILLED MY WIFE AND I WHEN A 18 WHEELER BARELY MISSED US. WE WERE ON A MAJOR INTERSTATE DOING 70MPH WHEN IT JUST SHUT OFF. THERE ARE ACTIVE RECALLS FOR THIS PROBLEM. CHRYSLER IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM BUT WILL ONLY TALK TO PEOPLE WHOSE VEHICLE IS LISTED UNDER THEIR RECALL LIST. THE PROBLEM IS A LOT MORE WIDESPREAD. RECALL NUMBER IS S-89
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE VEHICLE UNINTENTIONALLY SHUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO FRISCO CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (9640 TX-121, FRISCO, TX 75035, (214) 390-7543) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE CRANK SHAFT POSITION SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V907000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND EMAIL THEM THE INFORMATION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 69,000.
ENGINE SHUT OFF ON FREEWAY AND OVERHEATED
THE ENGINE JUST SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING.. NO WARNING, NO LIGHTS JUST OFF. LOSS POWER STEERING, LIGHTS, ALL POWER. LUCKILY WAS ABLE TO GLIDE OVER TO SIDE OF ROAD AND WAS ABLE TO PUT CAR IN PARK AND HIT ENGINE ON BUTTON AND IT STARTED UP AS NORMAL.
BEEN HAVING SERIOUS INTERMITTENT ISSUES WITH MY BRAKES. MY TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT AND ABS LIGHTS WOULD COME ON SIMULTANEOUSLY AND THEN BRAKES START TO MAKE A GRINDING NOISE AS WELL AS PEDAL STARTS TO SHAKE. BROUGHT IT INTO DEALERSHIP ON 10/6/19 AS IT WAS THROWING A CODE FOR A WHEEL SPEED SENSOR. HAD THEM REPLACE THAT ALONG WITH A FULL BRAKE SYSTEM CHECK ONLY FOR IT TO START HAVING SAME ISSUES 2 WEEKS LATER. I'VE READ ONLINE OF MANY OTHER CUSTOMERS HAVING THE EXACT SAME ISSUE ONLY FOR DODGE TO SLAP A BANDAID ON IT. I HAVE 3 KIDS AND DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THEM ANYWHERE AS IT IS A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN.
MY TENSION PULLEY BOLTS BROKE OFF HALF THE BOLTS ARE STILL LEFT INSIDE. I'VE NEVER HAD THIS CAR WORKED ON NEVER HAD TO FOR NO MORE THAN JUST A OIL CHANGE FOR NO REASON THE TENSION PULLEY JUST DROPPED OFF WITH THE BELT WHEN I STARTED THE CAR AT MY JOB
VEHICLE NEARLY STALLS AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. TOTAL LOSSOF POWER. TURN VEHICLE OFF AND RESTARTS. TAKEN TO DEALER AND FOUND TO BE BAD CRANK SENSOR.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS SIMILAR TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V461000 (STEERING). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 62,292.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE BACK UP CAMERA IMAGE WOULD NOT DISPLAY OR WOULD SUDDENLY SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING IN REVERSE. ALSO, WHILE ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE, THE BATTERY SAVING MODE MESSAGE DISPLAYED AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES WAS NOT DETERMINED. GREENWAY DODGE (9051 EAST COLONIAL DR, ORLANDO, FL) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 64,000.
ENGINE HAS STALLED NUMEROUS TIMES, OR CUT OFF COMPLETELY RESULTING IN THE STEERING AND BRAKES TO NOT WORK, THERE IS A RECALL BUT, DEALER SAID THAT IT DOESN'T PERTAIN TO MY VEHICLE, THIS WAS AT APPROXIMATELY 73,000 MILES
VEHICLE SIMPLY TURNED OFF ON ITS OWN WHILE I WAS DRIVING. I HAD JUST BEGAN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP LIGHT AND IN THE MIDST OF A TURN WHEN THE VEHICLE FAILED. AFTER STOPPING THEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. I WAS STUCK AT A LARGE INTERSECTION FOR A FEW MINUTES AS TRYING TO TURN THE VEHICLE BACK ON RESULTED IN IT JUST KIND OF JERKING/STUTTERING INITIALLY. EVENTUALLY I WAS ABLE TO TURN IT BACK ON AND DRIVE A BIT DOWN THE ROAD WHEN IT TURNED OFF AGAIN BUT AT LEAST I MADE IT TO A BUSINESS' PARKING LOT. I HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO A REPAIR SHOP AND THEY COULD NOT FIND AN ISSUE. NO ERROR CODES AND WOULD NOT CUT OFF ON THEM AS IT DID ME. I STILL HAD THEM REPLACE THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR AS THE TECHNICIAN SAID THAT IS USUALLY THE ISSUE WHEN A CAR CUTS OFF DURING DRIVING.
TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT ON AND ABS LIGHT ON CONSTANTLY. CUSTOMER COMPLAINT OF VEHICLE NOT STOPPING AND ABS ACTIVATE PULSE FELT IN BRAKE PEDAL. WHEEL SPEED SENSOR GIVING A FAULT CODE WAS REPLACED BUT STILL HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. HOOKED UP SNAP-ON SCANNER AND FOUND COMMUNICATION ISSUES FROM ABS TO TCM TO ECU SO A DATA LINE MOST LIKELY A CULPRIT. VEHICLE HAS 75K MILES. ATTACHED IS A SCAN REPORT OF THE CODES FOUND ON VEHICLE. THIS SEEMS TO BE COMMON ON MANY OF THE SAME VEHICLES. WILL REPORT FINDINGS ONCE CUSTOMER AGREES TO FURTHER INVESTIGATE THE ISSUE. I'M THINKING A FAULTY ABS MODULE OR WIRING TO ABS AND FAULTING OUT THE DATA COMMUNICATION LINE CAUSING DATA LOSS BETWEEN OTHER MODULES IN THE SYSTEM.
Transmission had gone out at 102,368 miles. First service on the transmission is at 120,000 miles. Paid for the transmission out of pocket. It went out again 2 weeks later. Put in a 3rd transmission and it lasted several months and went out again. This will be the 4th transmission. There was a recall but I didn’t fall in the parameters but it’s the same issues as the recall, same year make and model. There no reason why it should be a recall. That’s 3 replacement transmission in under a year. All transmission were bought from Victorville motors. A dodge Chrysler car dealer.
MY WIFE WAS DRIVING OUR 2016 DODGE JOURNEY OUR PF THE DRIVEWAY. SHE DROVE 2 BLOCKS WHEN THE CAR SUDDENLY LOST ACCELERATION AND BECAME JERKY WHEN SHIFTING. ENGINE LIGHT WENT ON WITHOUT WARNING SO SHE IMMEDIATELY TURNED THE CAR OFF. SHE RESTARTED AND MANAGED TO GET IT IN REVERSE TO TRY TO PULL OVER TO THE CURB BUT THE CAR JERKED FORWARD WHILE IN REVERSE. WE TOWED IT TO OUR DODGE DEALERSHIP AND HAD IT DIAGNOSED. WAS TOLD THAT OUR HYDRAULIC PUMP FAILED CAUSING IRREPARABLE DAMAGE TO OUR TRANSMISSION. WE WERE TOLD WE NEEDED TO REPLACE OUR ENTIRE TRANSMISSION. WE HAVE ONLY HAD THE CAR FOR 2 YEARS AND THERE IS ONLY 65000 MILES ON IT. DISCOVERED THAT THERE WAS A RECALL FOR FAULTY HYDRAULIC PUMPS CAUSING TRANSMISSION FAILURE (S44) BUT WAS TOLD THAT IT DOESN'T APPLY TO OUR VEHICLE. SOUNDS VERY SUSPECT. TRANSMISSIONS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO FAIL AFTER JUST 3 YEARS. SEEMS TO BE A RECURRENT ISSUE WITH THIS MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR. WE STILL OWE A LOT OF MONEY ON THE CAR SO WE CANNOT SCRAP OR TRADE IT. NOT GETTING MUCH HELP FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE DESPITE ALL OF THE SIMILARITIES WITH THE PRIOR RECALL. MAYBE FORCED TO PAY THOUSANDS FOR THIS REPAIR. WARRANTY JUST EXPIRED AT 60000 MILES WHICH WOULD HAVE COVERED THE POWER TRAIN. THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN A PERFECT STORM. I WISH MY FAMILY COULD GET SOME HELP.
MY WIFE WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY TO TAKE THE CHILDREN TO SCHOOL. THE CAR WAS NOT ACCELERATING PROPERLY, THE TRANSMISSION FELT LIKE IT WAS SLIPPING, AND THE ENGINE FELT LIKE IT WAS GOING TO DIE. ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. MY WIFE SHUT THE CAR OFF. SHE TURNED IT BACK ON AND ATTEMPTED TO REVERSE TO THE CURB, BUT THE CAR BEGAN MOVING FORWARD WHILE IN REVERSE. THERE WAS NO PRIOR WARNING, AND THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATING JUST FINE THE PREVIOUS DAY. WE TOWED THE CAR TO A LOCAL MECHANIC ON 09/17/2019 WHO STATED THAT THE POWER TRAIN TRANSMISSION HAS COMPLETELY FAILED, AND WE NEED TO COMPLETELY REPLACE THE ENTIRE TRANSMISSION. THE VEHICLE ONLY HAS 64K MILES. WE HAVE OWNED THE CAR FOR JUST 2 YEARS WITH NO PRIOR PRIVATE OWNERS. WE HAVE AN APPOINTMENT ON 09/19/2019 WITH PAULDING CHYRSLER JEEP DODGE LOCATED IN DALLAS, GA FOR A SECOND OPINION. I HAVE LEARNED THAT THERE IS A RECALL FOR POWER TRAIN TRANSMISSIONS ON 2016 DODGE JOURNEY. GIVEN THE AVERAGE LIFE EXPECTANCY OF AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND OUR VEHICLE'S SPECIFICATIONS, IT SEEMS EVIDENT THAT THIS ISSUE CORRESPONDS WITH THE MANUFACTURER'S RECALL.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND CONTACTED DARCARS CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF NEW CARROLLTON (301-459-6800, LOCATED AT 8100 ANNAPOLIS RD, NEW CARROLLTON, MD 20784). AN APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 26, 2019. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 74,000. *DT*JB
ENGINE STALLS WHILE DRIVING CAUSING VEHICLE TO SHUT OFF WITH NO WARNING. IT HAS TO COAST TO A STOP AS POWER STEERING AND BRAKES GO OUT ONCE SHUT OFF. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND COULD CAUSE A FATAL ACCIDENT. I HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOP AND NOTHING COULD BE FOUND WRONG WITH IT. THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING AND POTENTIALLY FATAL.
TAKATA RECALL TURNING LEFT ONTO A MAIN ROAD THE CAR SLOWED DOWN AND STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC. WOULD NOT START AGAIN, COULD NOT BE JUMPED. TOWED TO DODGE & THEY SAID ITS CRANKSHAFT SENSOR AND THEY ARE CHARGING WAY TOO MUCH WHEN I FIND ON HERE IT WAS RECALLED DECEMBER 2016; WE MUST HAVE NOT HAD THE VEHICLE YET.
DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW SWITCH WOULD NOT WORK EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE. THEN STARTED MAKING CLICKING NOISE AND NOT WORKING. WILL NOT CONTROL ANY WINDOWS AND NO WINDOWS WILL GO UP OR DOWN. I HAVE SPENT ALOT OF MONEY REPLACING PARTS AND NOTHING IS FIXING THE PROBLEM AND WHEN I LOOK ONLINE FOR ADVICE I READ ABOUT THIS BEING A COMMON PROBLEM WITH DODGE JOURNEY AND ALSO READ THAT THIS PROBLEM HAS LED TO ELECTRICAL FIRE IN SOME VEHICLES. WHY HAS THIS PROBLEM NOT BEEN FIXED AND WHATEVER PART RECALLED
BRAKES AND PUCKS, DRUMS, BOTH FRONT AND REAR. NEEDED REPLACEMENT AT 19500 MILES, VERIFIED THE REMOVED PARTS, WERE TOTALLY RUSTED AND DEFORMED. NUMEROUS VEHICLES AND MOST HAD 50,000 MILES PLUS BEFORE REPLACEMENT. THE ITEMS REMOVED BORDERED ON SAFETY ISSUES.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE SPEEDOMETER STARTED TO FLUCTUATE. THE BATTERY WARNING INDICATOR ALSO ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE BUT WAS CONCERNED THAT THE FAILURE WOULD RECUR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 84,866.
MY 2016 DODGE JOURNEY EXPERIENCED A CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR "A" CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION (OBD CODE P0335) WHILE I WAS DRIVING, RESULTING IN AN ENGINE STALL AND TOTAL LOSS OF POWER. NEARLY RESULTED IN A CRASH. I'VE SINCE OBSERVED FROM OTHER DRIVERS THAT THIS IS A VERY COMMON FAILURE ON THE DODGE JOURNEY, AND A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM (SAFETY RECALL S89 / NHTSA 16V-907) WAS ISSUED IN FEBRUARY 2017, BUT APPLIES ONLY TO A LIMITED NUMBER OF VEHICLES BUILT FROM MAY TO JULY 2016. BASED ON MY OWN EXPERIENCE AND THAT OF OTHER OWNERS AS REPORTED ONLINE, I BELIEVE THE ISSUE IS MORE WIDESPREAD THAN THE NHTSA APPARENTLY BELIEVES, AND I SUGGEST THAT THE EXISTING RECALL BE EXPANDED CONSIDERABLY.

SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASING MY VEHICLE, I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH IT. THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT, ABS LIGHT AND SERVICE AWD LIGHT CAME ON. THE CAR WOULDN'T LET ME ACCELERATE UPON THE INITIAL ACCELERATION. I WOULD HAVE TO EITHER SLAM ON THE BRAKES HARD OR PUSH THE ACCELERATION ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. I TOOK IT BACK TO WHERE I GOT IT FROM AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE RIGHT FRONT PASSENGER ABS SENSOR THAT WENT BAD. THEY FIXED IT AND IT WAS FINE. HERE WE ARE 3 MONTHS LATER AND THE ISSUE IS HAPPENING AGAIN.
WHILE DRIVING MY JOURNEY WILL STALL AND I LOSE POWER STEERING AND BRAKES WITH NO WARNING. IT ALSO RANDOMLY HAPPENS WHEN STOPPING. THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE SITTING IN TRAFFIC AT A RED LIGHT AND WHEN IT TURNS GREEN MY CAR DOESN'T MOVE. HAD TO PUT IT IN PARK AND RESTARTED WITH NO ISSUES. THIS HAPPENED WHEN STOPPING AT A STOP SIGN. HAD TO PUT IT IN PARK AND RESTART. THIS HAPPENED WHEN SLOWING DOWN TO TURN LEFT. LOST ALL POWER STEERING AND BRAKES. ALMOST HAD A HEAD ON COLLISION AND REAR ENDED WITH 2 CHILDREN IN THE CAR. AFTER I GOT THE CAR TO STOP I HAD TO PUT IT IN PARK AND START. EVERY TIME THIS ISSUE HAPPENS I HAVE TO PUT IT IN PARK AND IT STARTS RIGHT BACK UP. I HAVE TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP TWICE, SAME ISSUES AND THEY SAY NOTHING IS WRONG BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT GETTING AN ERROR CODE.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS NOT CONCERNED THAT THE REPAIR WAS NOT SUFFICIENT TO FIX THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 82,000.

AFTER DOWNLOADING THE REPORTS FOR TEST 9471 AND 9472, I AM UNABLE TO OPEN THE PDF. I GET AN ERROR THAT THE FILE IS DAMAGED. THIS HAPPENS TO ME ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS WHEN DOWNLOADING VEHICLE TEST REPORTS.
