THE DOOR LATCH ON CAR SAYS DOOR IS NOT CLOSED. THE LIGHTS STAY ON AND THE ALARMS SOUND. THE DOOR WON'T LOCK EITHER. YOU HAVE TO CLOSE THE DOOR SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE IT GOES OFF. SEVERAL VEHICLES THAT ARE FORD HAVE DONE THIS.
THE DRIVER DOOR LATCH HAS A CENSOR THAT GOES OUT AND CAUSES THE CAR DOOR TO THINK IT'S OPEN WHEN IT IS ACTUALLY CLOSED. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AS YOU COULD BE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD WITH THE DOME LIGHT ON. OR NOT PAYING ATTENTION WHEN IT KEEPS BEEPING AT YOU WHILE YOUR DRIVING. THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF CASES FOR THE CAR. THIS NEEDS TO BE RECALLED. THIS IS COSTING OWNERS $500 FOR A DEFECT IN FORD.
THE CAR MAINTAINS A "DOOR AJAR" MESSAGE (IN REFERENCE TO THE DRIVER DOOR). THE DASHBOARD INDICATOR LIGHT, CABIN LIGHTS REMAIN ON WHILE DRIVING AND I CANNOT ENGAGE THE DOOR LOCK ON ANY DOOR WHILE IN THE VEHICLE. IN ADDITION, A WARNING SOUND CONTINUES TO CHIME WHILE I DRIVE TELLING ME THE DOOR IS AJAR. THE DOOR IS IN FACT CLOSED AND I CANNOT GET THE DASHBOARD INDICATOR AND SOUND TO TURN OFF WHILE DRIVING.
DRIVING DOWN BUSY STREET I WENT AROUND A BEND AND MY EDGE LOST POWER. EVERYTHING SHOT DOWN AND THE LOW OIL PRESSURE LIGHT WAS ON. SEVERAL VEHICLES ALMOST HIT ME AS THEY WERE COMING AROUND THE BEND AND I HAD NO POWER TO MOVE. I TURNED ON MY HAZARDS AND CALLED MY HUSBAND. AFTER ABOUT 10 MINUTES I WAS ABLE TO START MY CAR. WE WERE ON VACATION AND STOPPED AT A FORD DEALERSHIP TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT. THEY CHANGED THE OIL AND SAID IT WAS FINE. THIS HAPPENED AGAIN AND I TOOK IT TO ANOTHER FORD DEALERSHIP, THEY ARE 75% SURE IT IS WAS A THROTTLE BODY. OVER $400 LATER I THOUGHT IT WAS FIXED. I MADE A TURN THE OTHER DAY AND IT FELT LIKE MY CAR WAS LOSING POWER BUT IT DID NOT STALL. IT WAS SLUGGISH FOR ABOUT 1 MINUTE THEN IT WAS OK. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO.
THE DOOR AJAR ALARM STAYS ON REGARDLESS OF IF THE DOOR IS CLOSED OR NOT. ONLY THE DRIVER'S FRONT DOOR SEEMS TO BE AFFECTED. SOMETIMES REPEATEDLY CLOSING THE DOOR (15+ TIMES) WILL FINALLY MAKE THE ALARM GO OFF.
I WAS TAKING MY 91 YEAR OLD FATHER TO THE DOCTOR WHEN I LOST ALL POWER DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. THE ENGINE WAS STILL RUNNING BUT WAS NOT REACTING WHEN I PRESSED THE ACCELERATOR. FORTUNATELY I WAS ABLE TO STEER TO THE SIDE. TURNED THE CAR OFF, RESTARTED AND ALL SEEMED TO DO WELL. TOOK TO THE SHOP. WAS TOLD IT WAS THE THROTTLE BODY SENSOR. I HAD THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPEN WITH MY FORD FUSION. IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO LOSE ALL POWER DRIVING IN TRAFFIC. I WAS VERY FORTUNATE NO INJURIES OCCURRED BUT FURIOUS TO LEARN THAT THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM THAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTIES. VERY EXPENSIVE LESSON THE FIRST TIME. WILL BE EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE THIS TIME.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD EDGE. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, THE DOOR AJAR LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED AND MADE A BEEPING NOISE. IN ADDITION, THE SHIFT TO PARK AND INTERIOR DOME LIGHTS REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAS NOT ABLE TO DIM THE WARNING LIGHTS. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE AIR CONDITIONER CONTINUOUSLY BLEW OUT HOT AIR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,000.
DOOR AJAR LIGHT STAYS "ON" EVEN WHEN DOOR IS CLOSED WITH CAR IN DRIVING MODE. STARTED HAPPENING WITH 39K MILES ON VEHICLE. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIR ON 11/10/14 FOR REPAIR COST OF $272. REPAIR ONLY LASTED 15 MONTHS AND NOW SAME PROBLEM IS BACK. DEALERSHIP WILL NOT REPAIR FOR FREE SINCE PAST 6 MONTH REPAIR DATE. IT'S TIME FOR FORD TO STAND UP & ISSUE A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM SINCE IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE AS OTHERS HAVE STATED.
DOOR SENSOR ON THE DRIVERS DOOR DOESN'T PROPERLY SENSE WHEN THE DOOR IS SHUT. THIS LEADS TO THE CAR TO CONTINUALLY BEEP AT THE DRIVER AND REFUSES TO LOCK THE DOORS, ALLOWING FOR KIDS/OTHER PASSENGERS TO OPEN THE CAR WHILE IN MOTION.
THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR STAYS AJAR WHEN DOOR IS SHUT. RESULTING THE VEHICLE NOT TO LOCK THE DOORS WHEN CAR IS IN MOTION. VERY DANGEROUS FOR YOUNG KIDS.
THE "DOOR AJAR" LIGHT CONTINUES TO ACTIVATE EVENTHOUGH MY DOOR IS CLEARLY CLOSED. THE PASSENGER SIDE WAS PREVIOUSLY SERVICED AND NOW THE DRIVER "DOOR AJAR" IS ACTIVATED. THE PROBLEM IS THE DOORS WILL NOT LOCK WHEN "DOOR AJAR" IS ACTIVATED AND I HAVE VERY SMALL CHILDREN. VERY DANGEROUS! I HAVE RECENTLY DISCOVERED THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS MODEL BY FORD.
DOO AJAR SIGNAL STAYS ON WHEN DOOR IS CLOSED. PREVENTS DRIVER FROM KNOWING OF A REAL DOOR AJAR SITUATION. INTERIOR LIGHT STAYS ON, CREATING A NIGHT DRIVING HAZARD AND WHEN SITTING IN CAR AT NIGHT. UNABLE TO LOCK DOORS WHILE INSIDE VEHICLE, MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. FAULTY LATCH OR SENSOR. ALL ISSUES STEMMING FOR FAULTY DOOR LATCH OR SENSOR.
DOOR AJAR STAYS ON ON DRIVER SIDE.
THE "DOOR AJAR" WARNING LIGHT STAYS ON AFTER THE DOORS ARE SHUT.
THE WARNING LIGHT THAT THE DRIVER DOOR IS AJAR IS CONSTANTLY ON, EVEN THOUGH THE DOOR IS SHUT. THIS PREVENTS THE DOORS FROM LOCKING WHEN THE CAR IS ON, AND WHEN DRIVING. IT ALSO KEEPS THE INTERIOR AND PERIMETER LIGHTS ON, UNTIL THEY 'TIME OUT,' WEARING DOWN THE BATTERY. *TR
DRIVE DOOR SENSOR IS MALFUNCTIONED. WILL SAY "DRIVER DOOR AJAR" EVEN WHEN SHUT. THIS CAN HAPPEN WHEN I GET IN MY CAR AT THE END OF THE DAY TO DRIVE HOME, IN THE MORNING ON THE WAY TO WORK, OR EVEN WHILE I'M DRIVING! THEN IT WILL CONSTANTLY BEEP AND SAY "SHIFT TO PARK" IF I'M COMING TO A STOP. THE DOOR IS CLEARLY SHUT, AND NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I OPEN AND RE-SHUT THE DOOR THE SENSOR WILL NOT RECOGNIZE IT. BECAUSE OF THIS, I AM NOT ABLE TO LOCK MY CAR, OR THE ALARM WILL GO OFF AT SOME POINT BECAUSE IT THINKS THE DOOR IS OPENING. SOMETIMES I'M NOT EVEN ABLE TO LOCK TO DOORS EVEN IF I WANTED TO, WHICH IS NOT AT ALL SAFE!
DRIVER SIDE DOOR AJAR LITE REMAINS ON EVEN IF DOOR CLOSED SECURELY. DOOR AJAR LIGHT AND SIGNAL REMAINS ON WHEN CAR MOVING OR STATIONARY. UNABLE TO LOCK DOORS WHILE DRIVING. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 1 MONTH NOW.
SUDDEN BRAKE FAILURE. BRAKE PEDAL GOES DOWN TO THE FLOORBOARD BUT BRAKES ARE NOT ENGAGED. UP TO THAT POINT THE BRAKES WERE FINE. THERE WAS NO GRADUAL SOFTENING OF THE PEDAL TO WARN ABOUT A PROBLEM. ONE MINUTE THE BRAKES WERE FINE. THE NEXT MOMENT THEY FAILED. LUCKILY THE CAR WAS MOVING SLOWLY AND THE MANUAL EMERGENCY/PARKING HAD TO BE USED TO STOP THE CAR THE PROBLEM IS A FAILURE OF THE BRAKE BOOSTER - WHICH HAD TO BE REPLACED. *TR
6/24/16 TOOK CAR TO DEALER FOR CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. REPAIR $329. INDICATED PURGE VALVE STUCK OPEN AT TIMES. 6/30/16 CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AGAIN. INDICATED UNDER BOOST....REPLACED WASTE GATE VACUUM SENSOR. $307. RETURNED TO DEALER AGAIN FOR CHECK ENGINE LIGHT DUE TO HOSE CLAMP LOOSE. BEGAN EXPERIENCING DOOR AJAR LIGHT AND INTERIOR LIGHTS THAT DON'T TURN OFF. RETURNED TO DEALER ON 8/15/16 AND WERE TOLD THE TURBO ASSEMBLY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED FOR $2500+. COULD LOSE POWER AND CAUSE FURTHER ENGINE DAMAGE IF DRIVEN. TRIED CONTACTING FORD VIA EMAIL WITH NO RESPONSE. THERE ARE CLEARLY SAFETY ISSUES AND RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED AND REPAIRS AT FORD EXPENSE. TIRED OF READING OF THESE SAME FORD ISSUES BUT SELECTIVE STATE AND MODEL REPAIR.
BRAKES ARE NOT OPERATING PROPERLY, WHEN I APPLY BRAKES IT SOUNDS LIKE AIR DEFLATING.
AJAR DOOR WARNING NOT GOING AWAY EVEN AFTER ATTEMPTS OF CLOSING THE DOOR
FSA 13N02 BRAKE BOOSTER EXTENDED WARRANTY. MY FIRST COMPLAINT IS THAT THIS FSA IS NOT A "SAFETY RECALL" BUT CLASSIFIED AS A CUSTOMER SATISFACTION ACTION IF SOMEONE COMPLAINS ABOUT THEIR BRAKES. I WAS PULLING OUT ONTO A VERY BUSY STREET AND SECONDS AWAY FROM GETTING ON THE INTERSTATE WHEN MY BRAKES FAILED, I COULD NOT STOP. MY VEHICLE WAS IN THE SHOP FOR A DIFFERENT PROBLEM AND SUPPOSEDLY BRAKES INSPECTED AS A "SERVICE TO ME" THE DAY BEFORE THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED. MY 1ST QUESTION IS WHY WAS I NOT NOTIFIED OF THIS POTENTIAL SAFETY HAZARD AND 2ND WHY DOESN'T FORD CONSIDER THIS A SAFETY ISSUE. I WAS VERY LUCKY NOTHING HAPPENED TO ME, AS I WAS ON MY WAY OUT OF TOWN FOR A TRIP. I FIND THIS VERY IRRESPONSIBLE ON FORD'S PART AND SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT IT. I AM VERY SERIOUSLY LOOKING AT A DIFFERENT MANUFACTURER TO MAKE MY NEXT CAR.
DOOR AJAR LIGHT STAYS ON, INTERIOR LIGHTS STAY ON, DOORS WILLNOT LOCK. TAKEN TO DEALER 12/31/15 THEY CLEANED AND OILED DOOR SENSOR AND IT LASTED 6 MO.. IT NEEDS REPACED BEFORE BATTERY RUNS DOWN OR SOMETHING MAJOR HAPPENS.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,000.

THE DOOR AJAR SOSNOR STAYS ON EVEN WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED. I HAD TO REPLACE THE BATTERY DUE TO THIS ISSUE.
THE VEHICLE ACELERATE AND DESELERATE .RPM FLUCTUED FROM 11 TO 13 WHEN VEHICLE IS STOPED.CHECK ENGING ON APEAR IN DASH LATER, ONE DAY AFTER DISAPEAR AND LATER ONE DAY LATER APEAR AGAIN..
DRIVERS DOOR AJAR WARNING WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED. DOES NOT HAPPEN ALL THE TIME BUT IS GETTING WORSE. THE ISSUE HAPPENED BEFORE THE VEHICLE WAS 2 YEARS OLD AND WAS FIXED UNDER WARRANTY. NOW IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN AT THE 4 YEAR MAKE AND NOT UNDER WARRANTY. THIS PART SHOULD LAST THE NORMAL LIFE SPAN OF THE VEHICLE AND BARELY LASTS TWO YEARS. VERY POOR DESIGN AND QUALITY OF THIS PART MAKES ME HATE THIS VEHICLE AND FORD IN GENERAL. LOTS OF OTHER COMPLAINTS FILED REGARDING THIS MATTER AND NO NEED FOR ME TO REPEAT THE SAFETY ISSUES.

STARTED MALFUNCTIONING PRIOR TO WARRANTY EXPIRED AND I WOULD SLAM THE DOOR SHUT AND LIGHT WOULD GO OUT. BECAME MORE FREQUENT AND NOW IT STAYS LIT MOST OF THE TIME.. VERY AGGRAVATING.

LIGHT COMES ON SAYING DRIVER DOOR IS OPEN, COME TO A STOP STARTS DINGING SHIFT TO PARK. I AM DRIVING RIGHT NOW. INTERIOR LIGHTS STAY ON, SOMETIMES WHEN YOU OPEN DOOR AT NIGHT LIGHTS DON'T COME ON. DOORS NOT LOCKED AND OPEN DOOR ALARM GOES OFF. CAR HAS BEEN AT DEALER 3 TIMES LAST YEAR THEY HAD IT FOR A WHOLE WEEK, NOW PROBLEM IS STARTED AGAIN BUT MUCH WORSE
MY 2012 FORD EDGE CONTINUES TO ALERT AS I AM DRIVING THAT MY DRIVER SIDE DOOR IS AJAR WHEN IN REALITY IT IS NOT. I HAVE VIDEO OF THIS BECAUSE IT DISTRACTS ME AS I AM DRIVING DUE TO THE RED ALERT POSTED ON THE PANEL ALONG WITH THE HIGH PITCH BEEP/ALARM AS THE WARNING. I THAN HAVE TO CONTINUALLY HIT THE RESET BUTTON WITH MY LEFT THUMB IN ORDER TO SILENCE THE WARNING UNTIL IT STARTS ALL OVER AGAIN WITHIN SECONDS. WHILE RESEARCHING THIS PROBLEM, IT SEEMS THAT IT IS VERY COMMON WITHIN THESE FORD VEHICLES. IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED IF THIS COULD BE ADDRESSED AS A RECALL. THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM WITH MY VEHICLE FOR MANY MONTHS NOW. ONE STAGE OBSERVATION IS THAT THE AFOREMENTIONED MALFUNCTION BECOMES OCCURS MUCH MORE OFTEN ONCE THE TEMPERATURE OUTSIDE EXCEEDS 65 DEGREES OR HIGHER FOR SOME REASON. DOOR AJAR SENSOR SHOWS OPEN WHEN DOOR IS CLOSED. EVEN AFTER SLAMMING DOOR. SENSOR SHOWS DOOR OPEN ANY TIME THE CAR IS STARTED.
"DOOR AJAR" DASH LIGHT REMAINS ON EVEN AFTER CLOSING THE DOOR MULTIPLE TIMES. THIS PREVENTS THE DOORS FROM LOCKING WHILE DRIVING AND IS A HAZARD FOR SMALL CHILDREN WHO RIDE IN THE BACK AND HAVE ACCESS TO OPEN THE DOOR.
MY "DOOR AJAR" SIGNAL WON'T TURN OFF FOR MY DRIVERS DOOR. I HAVE BOUGHT THREE NEW BATTERIES AND BEEN STRANDED THREE TIMES DUE TO POWER DRAIN WHEN LIGHTS AND SOUND SYSTEM WOULD NOT SHUT DOWN DUE TO THIS ISSUE. IN ADDITION TO MONEY AND TIME, IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE THE DOORS WON'T LOCK WHILE DRIVING AND THE INTERIOR LIGHT REMAIN ON WHILE DRIVING.

WE WERE HIT FROM BEHIND BY AN 18 WHEELER IN THE HWY AND SLAMMED INTO THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF US SEVERAL TIMES AND NOT 1 AIRBAG WENT OFF.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD EDGE. AS SOON AS THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED, THE DOOR AJAR WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AS WELL AS THE INTERNAL LIGHTING. THE FAILURE OCCURRED DAILY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
2012 FORD EDGE LIMITED: DRIVING DOWN THE DIVIDED HIGHWAY AT ABOUT 65 MPH, WITH NO VEHICLES IN FRONT/NEXT TO/ OR BEHIND ME, THE PANORAMIC SUNROOF EXPLODED AND SHATTERED. THIS WAS NOT DUE TO ANY IMPACT OR COLLISION OF ANY TYPE, TO INCLUDE DEBRIS, FLYING PEBBLES, ETC. THE SUNROOF EXPLODED OUTWARDS, WITH THE GLASS PUSHED UPWARDS. ADDITIONALLY, THE GLASS WAS SHATTERED IN ALL FOUR CORNERS. THIS IS A DESIGN DEFECT, WITH DOCUMENTED RECALLS ACROSS MANY MAKES/MODELS. THIS EXACT SITUATION HAS HAPPENED TO HUNDREDS OF OTHER PEOPLE/VEHICLES WHETHER DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS OR PARKED. IN EVERY CASE, THE SCENARIO APPEARS TO BE THE SAME: THE TEMPERED GLASS EXPLODED DUE TO DESIGN FAILURES WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE UNDER NORMAL / ROUTINE CONDITIONS. RECALL REQUESTED.
DOOR AJAR LIGHT COMES ON WHEN CAR DOOR IS SHUT. THIS CAUSES MY INSIDE LIGHTS TO STAY ON AND DELAY GOING OFF. THIS ALSO CAUSES MY DOORS NOT TO LOCK WHEN DRIVING.
DOOR SENSOR STATES DOOR AJAR ON PANEL WHEN IT IS CLOSED. WILL HAVE TO SHUT DOOR PRETTY HARD SEVERAL TIMES.
WHILE LEAVING THE PARKING LOT AT WORK MY WIFE'S BRAKES FAILED WITHOUT WARNING, SHE WAS LUCKY NO CARS WERE COMING OR SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN HIT. SCARY CONSIDERING MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER RIDE IN THIS CAR EVERYDAY, AND WE TOOK IT ON VACATION TO COLORADO, JUST GLAD THE BRAKE DIDNT FAIL IN THE MOUNTAINS. IT WAS REALLY JUST LUCK, CANT BELIEVE THAT THERE HASN'T BEEN A MANDATORY RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM. WELL THE GOOD NEWS IS FORD IS PAYING FOR THE REPAIR, THANKS FOR STEPPING UP AFTER THE FACT, INSTEAD OF DOING WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE WHEN YOU KNEW YOU HAD A PROBLEM. RECALL
DOOR AJAR WARNING WILL NOT SHUT OFF EVEN WHEN CLOSED. INTERIOR LIGHTS STAY ON WHEN DRIVING AND LOCKING VEHICLE, CREATING EXTRA DRAIN ON BATTERY AND POOR VISIBILITY DURING NIGHT DRIVING. INITIALLY, IT WOULD SHUT OFF WHEN DOOR WAS SLAMMED SHUT, BUT IS NOW CONTINUOUS.
THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR AJAR WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATES RANDOMLY AND STAYS ILLUMINATED EVEN WHEN THE DOOR IS FULLY CLOSED AND LOCKED BOTH WHILE THE VEHICLE IS PARKED AND IN MOTION. THE WARNING CHIME PERIODICALLY PLAYS AND THE DOME LIGHT STAYS ILLUMINATED. MY VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED AS "CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED" IN DECEMBER 2014 WHICH EVIDENTLY DID NOT INCLUDE REPLACEMENT OF THE KNOWN DISCREPANT DOOR LATCH COMPONENT.
WHILE DRIVING THE DOOR AJAR ALARM WILL TURN ON AND THE INTERIOR LIGHTS COME ON. AFTER REPEATED ATTEMPTS TO CLOSE THE DOOR THE ALARM WILL NOT TURN OFF NOR THE INTERIOR LIGHTS. IT HAS GOTTEN TO THE POINT THAT THE LIGHTS ARE ALWAYS ON AND THE DOOR AJAR ALARM IS ON CONSTANTLY.
DOOR AJAR WARNING COMES ON WHEN THE DOOR IS COMPLETELY CLOSED. IF YOU SLAM THE DOOR ENOUGH TIMES, IT MAY GO OUT. DOME LIGHTS STAY ON AND DEPLETES THE BATTERY. WARNING CHIME IS GOING OFF WHILE VEHICLE IS IN OPERATION.
MY VEHICLE IS EXPERIENCING THE CONDITIONS DETAILED IN FORD'S OWNER NOTIFICATION PROGRAM 13N02 BUT THE DEALER AND FORD ARE CLAIMING THE BRAKE BOOSTER WAS REPAIRED IN APRIL 2014 PRIOR TO ME TAKING OWNERSHIP UNDER THE FORD CERTIFIED USED CAR PROGRAM AND NO FURTHER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TOWARDS THE REPAIR WOULD BE PROVIDED. I WOULD HAVE TO PAY AND THE QUOTE IS APPROACHING $800 + TO FIX THE CONCERN. MY VEHICLE HAS THE SPONGY BRAKE AS DETAILED ALONG WITH THE HISSING NOISE WHEN THE BRAKES ARE PRESSED. I HAVE TO PUSH THE PEDAL ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FLOOR IN ORDER TO STOP THE VEHICLE.
DOOR AJAR LIGHT STAYS ON FOR DRIVER DOOR EVEN THOUGH DOOR IS CLOSED. DOME LIGHTS STAY ON AND DOORS ARE NOT ABLE TO BE LOCKED.
