The contact owns a 2001 Ford Excursion. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked and unattended, the vehicle caught fire without warning. There were no reported injuries, police reports, or air bag deployments. The fire department and city employees extinguished the fire. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 135,000.
CRUISE CONTROL CUTOUT SWITCH MOUNTED ON MASTER CYLINDER IS FULL OF BRAKE FLUID INCLUDING THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR. THE VIN NUMBER DOESN'T LINK TO A RECALL. PERHAPS THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD SWITCH REPLACED UNDER RECALL OR PERHAPS THIS VIN WASN'T IN THE ORIGINAL RECALL. IN ANY EVENT A FIRE HAZARD IS PRESENT.

WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE TIRES EXPLODED AND CAUSED CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE VEHICLE AND TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 147,000.
DROVE TO LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL AROUND 7:30AM AND RETURNED HOME AROUND 7:45 AM ABOUT A HOUR LATER I WAS NOTIFIED BY MY NEIGHBOR THAT MY FORD EXCURSION WAS ON FIRE, THE FIRE FLAMES WERE COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE EXCURSION WAS PARK IN THE DRIVEWAY.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 120,000.

#7 SPARK PLUG BLEW OUT OF THE SPARK PLUG HOLE. SPARK PLUGS WERE LAST REPLACED BY A LOCAL FORD DEALER IN 2011. INTERNET RESEARCH SHOWS THIS FAILURE AND DEFECTIVE CYLINDER HEADS TO BE COMMON IN THIS ENGINE, V-10 6.8L.
A SPARK PLUG BLEW OUT OF THE ENGINE. WHILE I REALIZE THAT THERE WAS NO COLLATERAL DAMAGE THIS TIME, MY TRUCK HAS NINE MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO DO IT AGAIN. MY DAUGHTER AND 4 YEAR OLD GRANDSON WERE STRANDED ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD IN 32 DEGREE TEMPS. HER CELL PHONE HAD DIED AND SHE HAD TO WALK TO A PHONE (CHILD IN TOW). THERE IS ENORMOUS PROOF THAT THIS IS A RAMPANT PROBLEM WITH FORD ENGINES AND HAS COST CONSUMERS THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO REPAIR YET YOU CHOOSE NOT TO HOLD THEM LIABLE AND HAVE EVEN ALLOWED THEM TO COVER UP A PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO A RESIDENTIAL MAILBOX AND A MOBILE TRAILER. THE CONTACT'S RIGHT LEG AND LEFT ANKLE WERE INJURED WHILE ATTEMPTING TO STOP THE VEHICLE, AND MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS RECEIVED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE WIRES BURNED THROUGH THE SEAT CUSHION, EMITTING SMOKE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE HEATED SEAT ELEMENT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 140,000.
ON SEPT. 29,2014I APPROACHED STOP LIGHT AND APPLIED BRAKES, ENGINE RPM INCREASED VERY HIGH AND BRAKES WOULD NOT HOLD VEHICLE - HAD TO PUT IT IN NEUTRAL AND ENGINE RPM CONTINUE TO GO HIGHER - THIS LASTED FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS BEFORE ENGINE WENT BACK TO IDLE SPEED THEN WE PROCEEDED HOME WITH NO MORE PROBLEMS. THIS HAS DONE THIS SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE AND EACH TIME BRAKES WOULD NOT HOLD VEHICLE BACK. I TOOK IT TO FORD IN 2013 AND EXPLAINED IT TO THEM AND THEY SAID TO PUT GAS STABILIZER IN TANK AS THE GAS IN TANK WAS CONDENSING AND CAUSING THE COMPUTER TO MALFUNCTION. I PUT THE GAS STABILIZER IN THINKING THIS WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT BUT THIS TIME , SEPT. 29,2014 AND THE TIME BEFORE, JUNE 2014 - IT REV UP SLIGHTLY , IT COULD NOT BE THE CASE THESE LAST TWO TIMES AS I HAD JUST PUT FRESH GAS IN IT. IT IS VERY SCARY IT COULD HAVE CAUSED A BAD ACCIDENT. NOW I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE IT. I AM GOING TO CALL FORD AND SEE WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY THIS TIME. *TR

THE APPROXIMATE DATE ABOVE IS THE FIRST TIME MY EXCURSION BLEW OUT A SPARK PLUG WHILE ON A FAMILY TRIP IN PA. SINCE THEN, IT HAS BLOWN 2 MORE IN SEPARATE INSTANCES, THE MOST RECENT BEING ON THE HIGHWAY THIS PAST SUNDAY. THE FIRST INCIDENT I WAS TOWING AND PUTTING MORE STRAIN ON THE ENGINE, BUT THE 2ND AND 3RD INCIDENTS NO TOWING WAS INVOLVED. I HAVE READ ABOUT AND SEVERAL MECHANICS HAVE ALSO TOLD ME THE FORD TRITON ENGINES ARE KNOWN FOR THIS PROBLEM. IT SEEMS FORD SHOULD DO THE RIGHT THING AND FIX THE PROBLEM. *TR

RIGHT SIDE TIE ROD END CAME OUT OF COUPLER DUE TO WORN THREADS. HAPPENED IMMEDIATELY UPON LEAVING HOUSE, SO VERY LOW SPEED. VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED AND REPAIRED. COULD HAVE CAUSED A SERIOUS ACCIDENT IF SPEED HAD BEEN HIGHER. RIGHT FRONT WHEEL WAS COMPLETELY DISCONNECTED FROM THE STEERING LINKAGE. *TT

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO CALL NHTSA. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 98,000.
I HAVE A FORD EXCURSION 2001 V10 WITH 123K I WAS SITTING AT A STOP LIGHT WITH VERY LITTLE ENGINE TORQUE AT THE TIME WHEN I HAD A "SPARK PLUG BLOW OUT" THE SPARK PLUG WAS BLOWN OUT OF THEIR HEAD AND IN TURN TOOK OUT THE COIL.. WHEN THIS HAPPENED IT FILLED THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT WITH GAS FUMES AND THE SPARK PLUG WAS STILL ATTACHED TO THE CABLE AND PROVIDING A SPARK. WITH THE SPARK I FEEL THERE COULD HAVE BEEN A FIRE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT BUT BECAUSE I WAS ABLE TO TURN OFF THE TRUCK AS SOON AS IT HAPPENED THERE WAS NO FIRE. FORD KNOWS OF THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE THEY HAVE A REPAIR KIT WITH A INSERT TO PUT IN THE HEAD TO REPAIR IT. THE FORD DEALER REPAIRED IT AT A COST OF $344.18 BUT I WAS TOLD THAT THIS IS COMMON IN MOST OF THE TRITON ENGINES FORD HAS. I THINK THERE COULD HAVE BEEN A FIRE UNDER THE HOOD HAD IT NOT BEEN THAT I WAS SITTING AT A LIGHT AND TURNED IT OFF AS SOON AS IT HAPPENED. *TR
WHILE DRIVING ON A TWO-LANE COUNTRY ROAD AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, A LOUD EXHAUST SOUND STARTED COMING FROM THE ENGINE. A VISUAL INSPECTION REVEALED THAT A SPARK PLUG HAD BEEN BLOWN COMPLETELY OUT OF THE ENGINE AND THE COIL AND WIRE HAD BEEN DAMAGED. TRUCK MUST BE TOWED TO DEALER FOR REPAIR. ONLINE RESEARCH REVEALS THIS TO BE AN EXTREMELY COMMON PROBLEM WHICH THE DEALER HAS FAILED TO ADDRESS OR REMEDY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD EXCURSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS DIFFICULT TO STEER WHEN PARKING OR DRIVING AT VERY LOW SPEEDS AND HE WAS UNABLE TO PARK THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THEY DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE AND DETERMINED THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE CONTACT CONTINUED HAVING DIFFICULTIES WITH STEERING. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WERE NO TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETINS OR RECALLS OPEN FOR THE FAILURE AND THAT THEY WOULD BE SENDING THE INFORMATION TO THEIR TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT FOR REVIEW. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT FURTHER REPAIRED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 102,000 AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.

FORD - SPARK PLUG BLOW OUT: YESTERDAY MY 2001 EXCURSION WITH A 5.4 TRITON V8 ENGINE BLEW A SPARK PLUG RIGHT OUT OF THE ENGINE. IT BLEW OUT WITH SUCH FORCE, THE BOOT AND CAP/ COIL SNAPPED IN TWO (THE SCREW IS STILL ON TIGHT). THE TREADS OF THE OLD PLUG HAVE NO (NONE, ZERO) SIGNS OF DAMAGE, SO HOW DOES A SPARK PLUG THAT IS SCREWED IN JUST BLOW OUT. OUR LOCAL MECHANIC STATES "THIS IS COMMON ON MANY FORD TRITON ENGINES. THE HEAD HEATS UP AND EXPANDS, SINCE THERE ARE MINIMAL THREADS HOLDING THE PLUG IN PLACE, DURING THE COMBUSTION CYCLE, THE PLUG JUST BLOWS COMPLETELY OUT." I THOUGHT HE WAS GIVING ME A LOAD OF NON-SENSE, THUS SIMPLY PREPARING ME FOR THE SURE TO BE HUGE UP-COMING BILL. HOWEVER, ONCE I RESEARCHED THIS ON-LINE, IT ONLY TOOK JUST A FEW MINUTES TO DISCOVER MANY, MANY PEOPLE HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING, ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL VEHICLES INVOLVING FORD'S TRITON ENGINES. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A FORD GUY. I DEALT WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ISSUE AND SUCH BUT THIS ONE TAKES THE CAKE. DURING THESE HARSH ECONOMIC TIMES FORD NEEDS TO STEP UP AND DO THE RIGHT THING OR THEY WILL NEVER SEE ME, ANY OF MY RELATIVES OR FRIENDS AT ANY OF THEIR DEALERSHIPS AGAIN! WE WILL GO ELSEWHERE AND LET FORD LEARN A THING OR TWO ABOUT A VERY VALUABLE LESSON REGARDING SIMPLE ECONOMICS CALLED "SUPPLY AND DEMAND" OR LACK THEREOF FOR ANY OF FORD'S PRODUCTS (CARS, TRUCKS, T-SHIRTS, LOGO STICKERS, ETC). SMELLED DIESEL FUEL LIKE ODOR WHEN I OPENED THE HOOD AT HOME, BUT I DID NOT SEE ANY PROBLEM. TRAVELED TO WORK (15 MILES) AND LEFT A POOL OF DIESEL IN THE PARKING LOT. FUEL WAS STREAMING FROM BEHIND THE OIL PAN. IDIOT SMOKING THREW A CIGARETTE IN THE FUEL AND MANAGED TO START A SMALL FIRE THAT I EXTINGUISHED WITH AN EXTINGUISHER FROM WORK BEFORE IT BURNED THE TRUCK. I OPENED THE MESSAGE BOARDS AT HOME AND IT TURNS OUT THAT ALL OF THE DIESEL EXCURSIONS ARE AFFECTED. A BRACKET IS RUBBING THE PASSENGER SIDE FUEL LINE AND WEARS THROUGH CAUSING FUEL TO POUR OUT OVER THE HOT MOTOR AND HEADER. FUEL LINE REPLACED AFTER TOW. *TR
COPPER TIRES DOMINATOR AT LT 305 70 16 PURCHASED FROM DISCOUNT TIRE 10-14-2005. THE VEHICLE A FORD 2001 EXCURSION HAD 86000 MILES ON IT. ON 11-24-2009 A BLOWOUT OCCURRED, RIGHT REAR TIRE. DAMAGING REAR TAIL LIGHT THE PAINT ON REAR DOOR AND REAR QTR PANEL WHEEL WELL TRIM DAMAGE RUNNING BOARD DAMAGE AND WHEEL DAMAGE. THE BLOWOUT SEPARATED THE TREAD FROM THE TIRE LEAVING THE BELTS EXPOSED. *TR
2001 FORD EXCURSION SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING OR STOPPED. IT WAS TAKEN TO LOCAL DEALER AND WAS TOLD THERE WERE NO RECALLS AND THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINE. THIS HAPPEN ON AVERAGE 2 A WEEK. FROM THAT POINT TO PRESENT. THE VEHICLE IS A PSD AND HAD ITS CSP REPLACE SEVERAL TIMES. THIS PROBLEM HAS HAPPEN WHILE STOPPED AT STOP LIGHT, DRIVING 65MPH, PULLING A TRAILER AND IS NOW PUTTING NEEDLESS PERSONS AT RISK. I HAVE PERSONALLY REPLACED THE CPS, THE VALVE COVER GASKETS, THE PCM HAS BEEN CHECKED AND THE DEALER STILL STATES THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE EXCURSION. *TR
MY HUSBAND WAS DRIVING OUR 2001 FORD EXCURSION WITH MYSELF AND OUR 19 MONTH OLD BABY DOWN THE HIGHWAY, WHEN IT BEGAN TO SMOKE AND IGNITED A FIRE DIRECTLY UNDER THE STEERING COLUMN. WE WERE IN TRAFFIC, MADE IT A POINT THAT WE COULD PULL OVER, GET OUT, REMOVING THE BABY FROM THE CHILD'S SEAT, AND THE FRONT SEAT WAS ENGULFED IN FLAMES. 911 WAS CALLED, AND THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVED, BUT THERE WAS NOTHING LEFT OF THE TRUCK, EXCEPT THE IRON SHELL AND IRON STRUCTURES WHERE THE SEATS USED TO BE. WE HAD THE RECALL PARTS REPLACED PREVIOUSLY, AND WE HAD JUST DRIVEN TO VA, HAVING SOME SMOKE UNDER THE STIRRING COLUMN AND A FUSE TO BLOW. WE TOOK IT TO A LOCAL FORD DEALER IN VA, PLACING IT ON THE DIAGNOSTICS MACHINE, REPLACING THE FUSE, AND TELLING US THAT IT SHOULD BE FINE. AFTER MAKING IT BACK TO BRANDON, MS, WE EXPERIENCED THE ABOVE EVENTS. *TR
TURNED CAR OFF, WENT INTO SCHOOL. WHEN WE CAME OUT IT WAS ON FIRE. VEHICLE IS TOTAL LOSS, ITEMS LOST NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE NO VEHICLE TO DRIVE AS INSURANCE HAS STILL NOT SETTLED CLAIM. *TR
WE PURCHASED A 2001 FORD DIESEL EXCURSION IN FEBRUARY 2005. THERE WERE FREQUENT MISHAPS WITH VARIOUS ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS (E.G. BLOWN FUSES, DASH LIGHTS, HEATED SEATS MALFUNCTIONING, BACK-UP SIGNALS). IN JANUARY 2009, THE EXCURSION CAUGHT FIRE IN OUR DRIVEWAY; PER THE INSURANCE INSPECTION, IT WAS A TOTAL LOSS. TODAY WE HEARD ABOUT A RECALL DUE TO AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM THAT COULD LEAD TO A FIRE...WE'RE CONCERNED. *TR

THE FAILURE OCCURS DURING NORMAL DRIVING OR CHANGING LANES. SOMETIMES THE VEHICLE WILL IMMEDIATELY RESTART. THE VEHICLE IS DIFFICULT TO PULL TO THE SHOULDER DUE TO THE LACK OF POWER STEERING AND BRAKES WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURS. THERE ARE NO WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL PRIOR TO THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, BUT THEY COULD NOT DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY AT THE DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
WE HAVE A 2001 EXCURSION, APPARENTLY ACCORDING TO THE LOCAL DEALERSHIPS OWNER, IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM FOR PLUG BLOWOUTS AND HEAD BLOWOUTS IN THESE V10 VEHICLES. IF THIS WAS THE CASE AND FORD MOTOR COMPANY ACTUALLY MAKES A SPECIAL REPAIR KIT FOR THESE ISSUES, WHY WERE THE CONSUMERS NOT NOTIFIED OF THIS DEFECT BY RECALL NOTICE? THIS ISSUE WILL COST UPWARDS OF 300$ OF WHICH WE DO NOT HAVE TO FIX, DUE TO FORDS ERROR IN REPORTING THIS DEFECT. SPARKPLUG BLEW OUT OF THE ENGINE HEAD WHILE DRIVING RESULTING IN A LOSS OF POWER AND VERY NOISY CONDITION. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IN 6 MONTHS THAT I HAVE HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM. THE LAST TIME WAS OCTOBER OF 2007. THE TWO INCIDENTS DO NOT INVOLVE THE SAME CYLINDER OF THE ENGINE BUT THEY ARE ON THE SAME HEAD. THE REPAIR WILL COST ABOUT $500 DOLLARS AND COST ME THE LOSS OF MY VEHICLE FOR 2 DAYS. THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH ALL FORD 5.4L AND 6.8L ENGINES. MY BROTHER HAS A 5.4 V-8 AND HAS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM TWICE IN HIS VEHICLE. FORD IS AWARE OF THE CONCERN BUT REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING TO HELP BECAUSE IT INVOLVES SOMEWHERE AROUND 17 MILLION ENGINES AND IS NOT COST EFFECTIVE. IN MY ESTIMATION, IF FORD DOES NOT WANT TO ISSUE A RECALL, WHICH I CAN UNDERSTAND BECAUSE IT WOULD BE AN ASTRONOMICAL AMOUNT OF WORK AND MONEY, THEN THEY SHOULD AT LEAST BE REQUIRED TO HELP WITH THE COST OF THE REPAIR. THE ISSUE IS CAUSED BY THE DESIGN OF THE ALUMINUM HEAD AND THE AMOUNT OF THREADS. ONLY ABOUT THREE THREADS HOLD THE PLUG IN THE HEAD. *TR
2001 FORD EXCURSION V10. EXHAUST MANIFOLD BOLTS BREAKING ON BOTH BANKS OF ENGINE. RUST AND CORROSION LOOKS TO BE THE CAUSE. VEHICLE HAS ONLY 61,000 MILES ON IT. THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM WITH FORD V10 ENGINES AS THERE ARE MANY INSTANCES THAT CAN BE FOUND ON THE INTERNET. EXHAUST GASES CAN AND DO LEAK BECAUSE OF THE BOLTS BREAKING. THIS RELEASES UN-TREATED EXHAUST GAS INTO THE ATMOSPHERE, HYDROCARBONS AND NITRATES OF OXYGEN ARE THE WORST AND NORMALLY WOULD BE TREATED BY THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER. FORD WILL NOT REPAIR THE CONDITION UNDER ANY WARRANTY. I BELIEVE THAT THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL AS THE EFFECT OF THE PROBLEM IS A PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUE. *TR
I HAVE HAD TWO SPARK PLUGS EJECT FROM THE CYLINDER HEAD ON MY FORD EXCURSION. THE FIRST PLUG EJECTED ABOUT THREE MONTHS AGO. ON THE 24TH OF FEBRUARY 2008 A SECOND SPARK PLUG EJECTED THE CYLINDER HEAD. THE FIRST PROBLEM WAS REPAIRED AT A FORD DEALERSHIP, COSTING ME $350.00 TO REPAIR. I AM CURRENTLY WAITING FOR A FORD REPRESENTATIVE TO CONTACT ME ABOUT THE SECOND FAILURE. THE REASON THIS IS HAPPENING IS BECAUSE THERE ARE ONLY APPROXIMATELY THREE THREADS TAPPED INTO THE HEAD TO HOLD THE PUG IN. A TYPICAL CYLINDER HEAD USUALLY HAS AT LEAST 1/2 OF AN INCH OR ABOUT 7-8 THREADS TO HOLD THE PLUG IN. THIS IS, IN MY OPINION, AN ENGINEERING DEFECT WITH FORD BEING LIABLE FOR THE DEFECT FROM FACTORY. THERE IS A SAFETY HAZARD ASSOCIATED WITH THIS. WHEN THE SPARK PLUG EJECTS FUEL VAPOR IS BLOWN OUT OF THE SPARK PLUG HOLE DURING THE COMPRESSION STROKE. IF THE COIL PACK COMES APART, AS WAS THE CASE IN THE FIRST FAILURE, THAT FUEL VAPOR HAS THE POTENTIAL TO IGNITE AND CAUSE A FIRE. *TR

SERVICE WRITER SAYS SPARK PLUGS BLOWING OUT OF ENGINE AND DISABLING ENGINE WITH POSSIBLE FIRE HAS BEEN COMMON ON 2000-2005 FORD TRUCK ENGINES. FORD NEEDS TO BE PRESSED FOR RECALL. NOT ENOUGH THREADS TO HOLD SPARK PLUGS IN LONG TERM ON ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT. COMMON EXPECTATION OF SERVICEABILITY IS THAT SPARK PLUGS AND IGNITION FIRE STAY INSIDE ENGINES. I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM A TRIP, 70 MPH ON INTERSTATE AND ENGINE MAKES A LOUD BANG. I PULL OVER MY HUSBAND CHECKS UNDER THE HOOD. THE COIL IS ON TOP OF THE ENGINE SPARKING. WE HAVE THE EXACT PART THAT IS IN RECALL FOR SEVERAL OTHER VEHICLES THAT FORD PRODUCES AND IS CAUSING FIRE UNDER THE HOOD. WHEN WE TOOK OUR EXCURSION TO A FORD DEALER THEY DEACTIVATED THE SPEED CONTROL DEACTIVATION SWITCH. THIS WAS DONE BECAUSE WE ALSO HAVE SOME OIL LEAK IN OUR CAM SHAFT POSITION SENSOR WHICH WAS RECALLED AND THE TWO PROBLEM CAN CAUSE A FIRE. EVEN THOUGH THIS IS THE EXACT PART THAT IS RECALLED IN OTHER VEHICLES THEY ARE NOT RECALLING IT IN THE LARGER TRUCKS. SO NOW I HAVE NO CRUISE CONTROL FEATURE BECAUSE OF THE DEACTIVATION.
