EXHAUST FUMES IN OCCUPANT COMPARTMENT. WHILE ACCELERATING EXHAUST FUMES ARE ENTERING THE PASSENGER CABIN. THIS PROBLEM IS NOT LIMITED TO JUST THE EXPLORER. OUR 2013 FORD EDGE ALSO HAD THE SAME ISSUE.
NAGING DOOR JAAR OPEN SENSOR, FOR UNDER 2 YEARS ITS ALREADY FAULTING
DOOR HANDLE BROKE OFF WHEN PULLING ON THE LATCH TO OPEN CAR DOOR.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD EXPLORER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH, THE DRVER SIDE DOOR LATCH AJAR WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. WHEN THE CONTACT CALLED THE LOCAL DEALER, THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT HE HAD NOT HEARD OF SUCH A FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE RECURRED AND WAS NOT REMEDIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 37,650.
ALUMINUM HOOD CORROSION CAUSING PAINT TO BUBBLE AND CHIP.
CARBON MONOXIDE IN THE CABIN. INTERMITTENT CHECK ENGINE LIGHT VIN CORRECTED - 2013 FORD EXPLORER XLT
UNPLEASANT FOUL ODOR EMITTED INTO PASSENGER COMPARTMENT WHENEVER ACCELERATING WITHIN MID TO HIGH RPM RANGE SUCH AS WHEN PASSING OR PULLING A GRADE. FUMES SMELL SIMILAR TO ROTTEN EGGS OR SULFUR. FOUL ODOR CAUSES HEADACHES DURING PERIODS OF EXTENDED EXPOSURE SUCH AS WHEN DRIVING FOR SEVERAL HOURS. THIS CONDITION HAS EXISTED EVER SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED.
I NOTICED SOME DEEP LINES IN MY REAR ROTORS TOOK TO MY MECHANIC HE SAID ROTORS AND PADS WERE BAD EVERY NOW AND THEN I HEARD A SQUEALING NOISE BUT DIDN'T PAY MUCH ATTENTION TO IT THINKING HEY I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW VEHICLE ITS PROBABLY BECAUSE OF BEING BRAND NEW I KNOW NOW THAT IS NOT THE FACTS THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE REAR BRAKES LOCKING UP AND NOT UNLOCKING IT DESTROYED MY ROTORS DUE TO THIS REMEMBER THIS VEHICLE STILL HAS FRONT BRAKES AND ONLY 8350 MILES GARAGE KEPT I COMPLAINED TO FORD AND THEY SAID IF A RECALL WOULD HAPPEN SAVE MY RECEIPT IAM VERY CONCERNED THERE HASN'T BEEN A RECALL REGARDING THIS MATTER BECAUSE THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH THE EXPLORER FOR MANY PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS MATTER WITH THE UTMOST CONSIDERATION THANK YOU *TR
DRIVERS DOOR PANEL IS SPITTING APART AT THE SEAMS. STARTED AROUND 42,000 MILES. EVEN W/ AN EXTENDED WARRANTY I WAS TOLD IT WAS COSMETIC AND I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR REPAIRS. ALMOST $1,000 IN PARTS AND LABOR.
I DROVE THIS VEHICLE CROSS COUNTRY, WHILE TOWING A TRUCK ON TRAILER, BACK WHILE TOWING A TRAILER, AND AGAIN WITH A U-HAUL FROM LAS VEGAS TO VIRGINIA (UP STEEP GRADES, AND THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS, ENGINE UNDER QUITE A LOAD, WHILE IN THE SUMMER, USING A/C) I GOT A HEADACHE AND NAUSEAU. MY DAUGHTER AND NEPHEW, WHO WERE PASSENGERS, DID AS WELL. I GOT SLEEPY BEHIND THE WHEEL (THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN TO ME AND HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME). YOU CAN SMELL THE EXHAUST. I INSTALLED A CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR, AND IT HAS GONE OFF TWICE. FORD HAS DONE SOME "FIXES" INCLUDING REPROGRAMMING A/C. WELL, IF YOU USE THE BUTTONS, INSTEAD OF THE TOUCH SCREEN, YOU CAN UNKNOWINGLY OVERRIDE THIS REPROGRAMMING. THEY DID NOT TELL ME THIS. I GO THROUGH THE GEARS IN THE MANUAL MODE AND DRIVE THIS HARD. YOU CAN STILL SMELL EXHAUST AND GET SYMPTOMS. BORROW A FIRE FIGHTERS "SNIFFER" AND DRIVE THE VEHICLE HARD AND WATCH THE READOUT. IT CANT POSSIBLY TAKE THIS LONG OR BE THAT DIFFICULT TO RESOLVE THIS INVESTIGATION. YOU CAN EVEN PUT A CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR IN THE VEHICLE AND WATCH-SIMPLE. GO THROUGH THE GEARS MANUALLY, RED-LINING THE VEHICLE YOU WILL GET THE SMELL AND SYMPTOMS. DRIVE THE VEHICLE HARD UP A STEEP GRADE, YOU WILL GET THE SYMPTOMS. TOW WITH THE VEHICLE UP A GRADE, YOU WILL GET THE SMELL AND SYMPTOMS, ALL WITH A/C ON RECIRCULATE. LESS SO WITH OUT IT BEING ON RECIRCULATE. THIS HAS HAPPENED FORM THE FIRST TRIP OF 09/07/2015 TO CURRENT.
GETTING EXHAUST FUMES IN THE CABIN OF VEHICLE AT TIMES. SOMETIMES SO BAD THAT IT MAKES YOU SICK NAUSEOUS AND HEADACHES. FORD REFUSES TO FIX PROBLEM UNDER THERE WARRANTY. IT HAPPENS AT ANY TIME SLOW OR AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS WHEN USING THE AC OR HEATER IT IS EVEN WORSE.
PAINT ON HOOD IS BUBBLING. DEALER WILL NOT HONOR FORD'S 5-YEAR EXTENDED CORROSION COVERAGE PERIOD BECAUSE THE BODY PANEL IS NOT SHOWING A HOLE "THOUGH" THE BODY PANEL. THE WARRANTY DEFINES THE COVERAGE ONLY IF THE BODY PANEL BECOMES PERFORATED DUE TO CORROSION FROM NORMAL USE. HOWEVER, NOWHERE IN THE WARRANTY DOES IT STATE IT MUST BE THROUGH THE BODY PANELS. IN MY BOOK, THE DEFINITION OF PERFORATION IS A PATTERN OF HOLES, AND THE DEFINITION OF A HOLE IS A HOLLOW PLACE IN A SOLID BODY OR A CAVITY OR A PIT. THE PAINT IS DEFINITELY SHOWING A PATTERN OF CAVITIES OR PITS YET THE DEALER DOES NOT AGREE.
AS WITH MOST FORD'S MY EXPLORER HAS SIGNIFICANT PAINT BUBBLING ON THE HOOD. IT IS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH FORD'S AND THEY NEVER MENTIONED IT TO ME AS AN OWNER. I ONLY NOTICED IT AFTER AN UNRELATED FENDER BENDER AND THE BODY SHOP POINTED IT OUT TO ME. MY VEHICLE WAS ALREADY OUT OF WARRANTY BY A FEW THOUSAND MILES BUT CLEARLY THE PROBLEM DID NOT JUST OCCUR AFTER THEY WARRANTY ENDED BUT I NEVER THOUGH TO LOOK AT THE PAINT ON MY HOOD. IF FORD HAD DONE THE RIGHT THING AND TOLD OWNERS TO LOOK OUT FOR THIS KNOWN DEFECT AND CORRECT ANY DEFECTIVE HOODS REGARDLESS OF THE WARRANTY, IT WOULD HAVE SHOWN SOME LOYALTY TO ITS CUSTOMERS. I AM DONE BUYING FORD'S AND WILL ADVISE ANYONE I KNOW NOT TO BUY FORD.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD EXPLORER. WHILE THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL EXHAUST ODOR IN THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FAILURE WAS INHERENT TO THE MODEL VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 30,000.
WE BOUGHT OUR VEHICLE USED IN 2015 WITH LESS THAN 40K MILES ON IT. IT IS OUR MAIN, FAMILY VEHICLE. THE FIRST ISSUES STARTED WITH PAINT CHIPPING ON THE HOOD. THE FORD STORE WE BOUGHT IT FROM NEVER STATED THIS WAS A PROBLEM. WE DID NOTICE IT AFTER HAVING IT AT HOME AND IT HAS GRADUALLY BECOME WORSE. I HAVE HAD USAA INSPECT IT AND THEY SAID IT LOOKS LIKE "SOMEONE DROVE IT WHERE THERE WAS HIGH SULFUR PRESENT"---NEAR WATER OR ETC. THE SECOND ISSUE IS WITH THE ENGINE. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS OUR VEHICLE HAS FAILED TO TURN OVER AT THE FIRST START. WILL SIT THERE AND MAKE NOISES LIKE IT IS TRYING BUT FAIL AND TURN OFF. ONE INSTANCE HAPPENED WHILE WE WERE DRIVING ON A STREET ROAD. CAR HAD TROUBLE STARTING AND THEN SHUT OFF RANDOMLY. WE HAVE CONTACTED USAA AND TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO OUR LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP BUT THEY CANNOT SEEM TO HELP RESOLVE EITHER ISSUES. UPON CONDUCTING OUR OWN RESEARCH I SEE THAT THESE ARE RE-OCCURRING ISSUES WITH OTHER OWNERS, ACROSS THE US AND FORD HAS YET TO RESOLVE. VEHICLE IS UNSAFE
ALL TERRAIN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CONTINUOUSLY FAULTS EVEN AFTER BEING IT REPAIRED IN 2016, IT WAS OKAY FOR 2 YEARS STARTED AGAIN FAULTING EVERY NOW AND THEN IN 2019. THIS YEAR THE ALL TERRAIN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM STOPPED WORK COMPLETELY IN MARCH. AT FIRST THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE IN MOTION FOR IT TO FAULT BUT NOW IT HAPPENS RIGHT AFTER STARTING THE SUV. THIS IS AN EXTREME SAFETY ISSUE AS IT SEEMS TO LOOSE GRIP OF THE ROAD NO MATTER THE WEATHER.
EXHAUST FUMES ENTERING THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT. VEHICLE IN MOTION WITH THE AIR CONDITIONER ON. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A FORD DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIR. THE DEALER MADE A REPAIR THAT WAS GOING TO FIX THE PROBLEM BUT IT MADE IT WORST. I TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK AND THEY ADVISED THAT THEY ARE WAITING FOR FORD ENGINEERS TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM. ITS BEEN OVER TWO YEARS NOW.
WE HAD TO REPLACE THE HEADLIGHT PIG TAIL TWICE AS IT MELTED TO THE BULB
CORROSION (OXIDATION) ON THE HOOD OF THE VEHICLE. NOT NECESSARILY A SAFETY CONCERN BUT A CONCERN NON THE LESS. I ENTERED, THROUGH MY LOCAL FORD DEALER, A PRIOR APPROVAL CLAIM FOR THE DAMAGE AND WAS TURNED DOWN, FORD SAYS THEY DON'T WARRANTY RUST CLAIMS UNLESS THE PART HAS RUSTED THROUGH. SEARCHING ON GOOGLE, "FORD HOOD RUSTING", I SEE THAT THIS IS A NATIONAL PROBLEM AND THAT FORD IS WELL AWARE OF THE ISSUE, YET THEY CONTINUE TO DENY CLAIMS.
DURING ACCELERATION, THERE IS A NOTICEABLE, EXHAUST SMELL IN THE CABIN OF THE VEHICLE. THE SMELL DOES NOT DISSIPATE UNLESS YOU OPEN THE WINDOWS OR TURN THE A/C ON HIGH TO CLEAR THE AIR.
PEALING PAINT ON HOOD WHICH HAS EXPANDED ACROSS HOOD SINCE PURCHASED IN 2014, FORD MOTOR COMPANY REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING AT THAT TIME.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD EXPLORER. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVERAL TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000.

ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS WITHIN THE PAST 3 WEEKS, WHILE ATTEMPTING TO PUT OUR VEHICLE INTO "PARK" WE RECEIVED A WARNING LIGHT THAT WE NEEDED TO "SHIFT TO PARK", EXCEPT THE SHIFTER WAS PLACED IN THE PARK POSITION EVERY TIME; THIS OCCURRED TO BOTH MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF. I WAS AFRAID THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT STAY IN PARK ON HILLS OR SLOPES IN PARKING LOTS AND IN MY SLOPED DRIVEWAY WHERE THERE ARE LOTS OF SMALL CHILDREN PLAYING AND RIDING BIKES BECAUSE OF THIS WARNING AND WOULD ROLL AWAY KILLING SOMEONE. RECENTLY, OUR EXPLORER WOULD NOT START, OUR KEY FOBS WOULD NOT LOCK OR UNLOCK THE DOORS; I WAS STRANDED. THIS LAST TIME ON AUGUST 24, 2015 I CONTACTED FORD ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE TO TOW IT TO THE CLOSEST FORD DEALERSHIP TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG. TURNS OUT THE SHIFTER WAS DEFECTIVE AND AS A RESULT IT DRAINED THE BATTERY. IT COST ME $672.39 TO REPLACE THE SHIFTER AND THE BATTERY; WHICH IS A LOT OF MONEY WHEN YOUR OUT OF WORK/RETIRED WITH HEALTH ISSUES. I ALSO KEPT THE OLD PART FOR EVIDENCE. I TALKED TO ANOTHER FORD EXPLORER OWNER WHO ALSO HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND TO DATE THERE IS NO RECALL I SUPPOSE BECAUSE NO ONE IS DEAD, YET.
WITH JUST OVER 37,000 MILES ON THE VEHICLE, I NOTICED THAT THE PAINT ON THE HOOD WAS BUBBLING AND FLAKING OFF. IT HAD OBVIOUSLY BEEN OCCURRING LONG BEFORE I FIRST NOTICED IT. I BROUGHT IT TO MY FORD DEALER WHO TOLD ME IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM FOR THOSE VEHICLES BECAUSE THE HOOD IS MADE OUT OF ALUMINUM AND VIBRATION FROM DRIVING CAUSES THE PAINT TO FRACTURE WHICH RESULTS IN THIS PROBLEM. HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY BECAUSE I HAD OVER 36,000 MILES, EVEN THOUGH THE PROBLEM HAD BEEN THERE WHEN IT STILL FELL UNDER THAT WARRANTY. I THEN DID SOME RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET AND FOUND SEVERAL SITES WITH AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF COMPLAINTS FROM 2013 AND 2014 EXPLORER OWNERS WHO WERE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. (A FEW EXAMPLES OF THE SITES I SAW ARE CARCOMPLAINTS.COM, EDMUNDS.COM, AND RV.NET. A GOOGLE SEARCH WILL PROVIDE MANY MORE). I THEN CONTACTED FORD MOTOR COMPANY DIRECTLY AND SPOKE TO A REPRESENTATIVE THERE. THEY SAID THEY WERE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM BUT NO RECALL WAS GOING TO BE ISSUED, AND NOTHING COULD BE DONE REGARDING MY SPECIFIC PROBLEM. AFTER COMPLAINING PROFUSELY AND HAVING MY ISSUE ELEVATED TO A REGIONAL MANAGER, FORD AGREED TO PARTIALLY PAY FOR THE REPAIR. HOWEVER, I (ALONG WITH THE MANY OTHERS WHO ARE HAVING THIS PROBLEM) FEEL THAT THIS IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND SHOULD BE COVERED FULLY BY FORD. WHILE THIS MAY NOT BE A "SAFETY" ISSUE, I AM HOPING THAT THIS COMPLAINT WILL AT LEAST HAVE SOMEONE FROM YOUR AGENCY LOOK INTO THIS MATTER TO SEE IF FORD SHOULD BE FORCED TO RECALL THESE VEHICLES DUE TO THIS MANUFACTURING DEFECT. AT ABOUT 42,000 MILES LEFT REAR BRAKE LOCKED UP WHILE DRIVING. AT ABOUT 48,000 MILES RIGHT REAR BRAKE STARTED DRAGGING. I REPLACED ROTORS, PADS AND CALIPERS IN BOTH CASES. I CHECKED SLIDES ON BOTH AND THEY ARE FREE TO TRAVEL. IN BOTH CASES THE CALIPER IS STUCK. I SAVED THE CALIPER FROM THE LATER. THIS IS STILL AN OEM PART ONLY SO I REPLACED WITH FORD PART. WHEN TALKING TO LOCAL DEALERS TECHS THEY SAY THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM THEY ARE SEEING IN THIS VEHICLE. THE PART NUMBER OF THE CALIPER HAS CHANGED FROM THE ORIGINAL NUMBER ACCORDING TO THE PARTS TECH, HE CLAIMED THAT THIS USUALLY INDICATES A CHANGE IN A DESIGN FOR A PROBLEM.
EXHAUST FUMES ARE LEAKING INSIDE THE CABIN WHILE DRIVING AND AFTER ACCELERATING.
I OWN AT 2013 FORD EXPLORER SPORT. ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS I HAVE TAKEN MY EXPLORER TO THE DEALERSHIP BECAUSE WE KEEP SMELLING EXHAUST WHEN WE ACCELERATE . THE DEALERSHIP HAS MADE ATTEMPTS TO REPAIR THE LEAK BUT AS OF TODAY IT'S STILL DOING IT. I CALLED FORD TODAY TO SEE IF HAS ANY MORE INFORMATION THEY COULD PASS ALONG TO REMEDY THIS PROBLEM AND THEY ONLY REFERRED ME BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP. THE SULFUR IS SO BAD SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO ROLL DOWN THE WINDOWS FOR FRESH AIR WHICH IS NOT ALWAYS GOOD WHEN THE WEATHER IS BAD. IT HAPPENS WITH THE AIR/HEAT IS ON AND WHEN IT'S NOT ON. I'M AT A LOSS NOW ON HOW TO GET THIS REPAIRED AS IT SEEMS NO ONE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT IS CAUSING IT AND NO ONE IS TAKING OWNERSHIP OF THE PROBLEM.
FOR THE PAST 2 MONTHS THE DRIVERS DOOR IS SAYING IT IS OPEN WHEN IT IS SHUT. THE DOME LIGHTS STAY ON WHICH MAKES IT HARD TO SEE AT NIGHT. THE DOORS WILL ALSO NOT LOCK. THAT IS VERY UNSAFE IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN IN THE BACK WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. THEY CAN EASILY OPEN THE DOOR AND POSSIBLE FALL OUT. I HAVE READ MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ON THIS ISSUE FOR FORD OWNERS. FORD SHOULD REALLY DO A RECALL ON THIS VERY DANGEROUS DEFECT.
WITH ACCELERATION AN ODOR ENTERS THE CABIN. WINDOWS MUST BE ROLLED DOWN TO CLEAR CABIN OF THE SMELL. THIS HAPPENS CONSISTENTLY, CAUSING GREAT CONCERN FOR MY AND MY FAMILIES HEALTH. I PROVIDE HOME HEALTH SERVICES, MEANING I WORK OUT OF MY VEHICLE, DRIVING TO PATIENTS HOMES ALL DAY. I HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS BEFORE, TO NO AVAIL. IT WOULD BE NICE IF THIS SITUATION WAS TAKEN SERIOUSLY.
WHEN THE A/C IS ON, OR IF THE CAR IS PARKED AND IDLING, THERE IS THE SMELL OF EXHAUST IN THE CAB OF THE VEHICLE.
PAINT IS BUBBLING ON THE FRONT EDGE OF THE HOOD
DESPITE THE PLETHORA OF CLAIMS POSTED ON THIS SITE ABOUT EXHAUST INSIDE THE CABIN OF 2011-2015 EXPLORERS, AND REPEATED INFORMATION THAT THE "TSB" FORD HAS ISSUED DOES NOT WORK, NHTSA HAS FAILED TO ACT. HOW DARE YOU CONTINUE TO ALLOW SO MANY LIVES TO BE PUT IN UNNECESSARY DANGER? WHAT IS THE COST OF LIFE OVER FORD'S BOTTOM LINE? WHO MUST DIE? IS MY ACCIDENT WHERE I SUDDENLY PASSED OUT AND WRECKED NOT ENOUGH? DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS WHEN YOU'RE TOLD BY A PEDIATRICIAN THAT YOUR 8 YEAR OLD MAY HAVE PERMANENT BRAIN AND PULMONARY DAMAGE FROM CHRONIC EXPOSURE TO CARBON MONOXIDE AND EXHAUST? WHY HAVE YOU DONE NOTHING? I'M A SINGLE MOTHER WHO WAS WILLING TO PAY $52K SO THAT I COULD HAVE A SAFE VEHICLE FOR MY FAMILY, AND INSTEAD WE ARE BEING POISONED. I HAVE HAD THIS VEHICLE IN 6 TIMES WITH NO RESOLUTION AND FORD REFUSES TO BUY IT BACK. AS I WAS DRIVING WITH MY WIFE AND THREE BOYS IN A HIGHWAY, THE ENGINE LIGHT TURN ON AND THE VEHICLE CHOKE AND TURN OFF, THE CAR THAT WAS COMING IN BACK OFF ME NEARLY HIT ME CAUSING A MAJOR ACCIDENT. WE HAD TO ROLL THE WINDOWS DOWN TO KEEP IT AIRED OUT. I TOOK THE CAR TO MY FORD DEALER WHEN I RETURNED FROM THE TRIP,THEY SAID THERE IS NO PROBLEM. I AM NOT GOING TO ARGUE WITH FORD OVER THIS,I HAVE PURCHASED A CARBON MONOXIDE METER WHICH I KEEP IN THE CAR AND HAVE RECORDED CARBON MONOXIDE IN THE CABIN AS HIGH AS 15 PPM DURING ACCELERATION. THIS CAR NEEDS TO BE RECALLED,I HAVE READ THAT I AM NOT ALONE,THIS PROBLEM EXISTS ON FORD EXPLORERS MANUFACTURED FROM 2011 - 2015. WHY ?

I ALMOST LOST CONTROL OF THE CAR DUE TO STEERING. THE RIGHT FRONT TIRE WAS WOBBLY AND HAD NO TRACTION. THE TIRES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. I HAVE BEEN HAVING SO MUCH TROUBLE OUT OF THE RIGHT FRONT TIRE. IT HAS BEEN BALANCED AND ALIGNED 4 TIMES, NEW BRAKE PADS, AND ROTORS TURNED. NO ONE CAN FIGURE OUT WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE STEERING OR THE TIRE. IT BEGINS TO SHAKE UNCONTROLLABLY.
