BURNING HAIR SMELL IN CABIN OF VEHICLE. NOTICE IT DURING BREAK IN INFORMED SERVICE ADVISER OF SMELL WHEN I TOOK THE VEHICLE IN FOR THE FIRST SERVICE. TAKEN BACK SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE LAST TWO YEARS WITCH RESULTS IN THE ODOR BEING WORST NOW THAN FIRST NOTICED. FORD HAS REPLACED THE AIR VENT LOCATED BETWEEN THE HOOD AND THE WINDSHIELD. THEY HAVE REPLACED BODY PANELS AND SEALED OPENING IN THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE LAST REPAIR WAS TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE EXHAUST SYSTEM. DURING A TRIP TO FLORIDA AFTER THE EXHAUST REPLACEMENT WE WERE ABOUT 100 MILES FROM HOME DRIVING 70+ MPH ON I-10. WHEN MY WIFE COMPLAINED OF HER HEART POUNDING, FEELING NAUSEOUS AND PASSED OUT FOR A MOMENT. I NOTICED THAT I HAD A HEADACHE ALSO AND I IMMEDIATELY ROLLED THE WINDOW DOWN. WITHIN A FEW MINUTES MY WIFE FELT BETTER SO I DID NOT CONTINUE TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL AS SHE HAD ASKED. WE DROVE WITH THE WINDOWS OPEN FOR THE REST OF OUR 525 MILE TRIP AND DROVE HOME WITH THEM DOWN FOR ANOTHER 525 MILE. SINCE RETURNING I HAVE WRITTEN A SECOND LETTER TO FORD EXPLAINING OUR COMPLAINT. NEED TO HAVE THE PROBLEM RESOLVED. MY WIFE HAS HEART ISSUES, TAKES BLOOD THINNERS AND MAY HAVE BEEN MORE SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE CARBON-MONOXIDE THAN I. SHE IS SCARED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE VERY MUCH AND WE CAN NOT AFFORD TO PURCHASE ANOTHER ONE BECAUSE WE COULD NOT SELL THIS ONE WITH IT'S PROBLEMS.
AT HIGHWAY SPEED MY STEERING LOCKS UP AND TAKES GREAT EFFORT TO STEER. THEN LOOSENS FOR A BIT UNLESS KEPT IN THE SAME POSITION FOR MORE THAN SAY 30 SECONDS THEN LOCKS UP AGAIN. SOMETIMES WORSE THAN OTHERS. I ALMOST HIT A BARRIERS AT 75 TODAY 10/5/17.TURNS ARE WORSE THAN STRAIGHT. I WAS TOLD THAT THE FORD ELECTRONIC STEERING RACK NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AT A MIN. COST OF $1800 AS I HAVE 55000 MILES ON MY 2016. THIS IS UNSAFE! PLEASE HELP
EXHAUST FUMES ARE SOME HOW LEAKING THROUGH THE CABIN. FUMES ARE MOSTLY NOTICED WHEN GETTING ON THE FREEWAY OR HARD ACCELERATION.
EVERY TIME I DRIVE THE EXPLORER I GET TERRIBLE HEADACHES. MY 11 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER COMPLAINS OF THE SAME THING. HAVE TO KEEP WINDOWS CRACKED TO LET BAD SMELL OUT OF THE CABIN. WHEN WALKING NEAR CAR YOU CAN SMELL IT AND FILLS GARAGE WITH TERRIBLE SMELL
3-5 SECONDS AFTER A HARD ACCELERATION (NEAR OR AT FULL THROTTLE), THE CABIN FILLS WITH A STRONG, BURNING FLUID SMELL. I CANNOT PIN POINT THE SOURCE OF THE SMELL BUT IT HAPPENS 100% OF THE TIME. THIS HAPPENS ONLY IN MOTION UNDER HARD ACCELERATION ON ANY TYPE OF STREET. I USE 93 OCTANE AND FULL SYNTHETIC MOTORCRAFT 5W-30. I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE IN FOR WARRANTY REPAIR FOR AN UNKNOWN NOISE AND I WAS TOLD THE EXHAUST WAS SLIGHTLY OUT OF ALIGNMENT. THIS DID NOT FIX THE NOISE AND THE SMELL HAS REMAINED AS WELL.
UPON STRONGER THAN USUAL ACCELERATION OR AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS OR BOTH, THE SMELL OF EXHAUST CAN BE DETECTED IN THE CABIN. UNDER HARD ACCELERATION, THE SMELL OF ROTTEN EGGS BECOMES VERY STRONG IN THE CABIN. AFTER TRIPS LONGER THAN AN HOUR, WITH AC OR HEAT RUNNING (NO OPEN WINDOWS), I HAVE BECOME VERY ILL, WITH FEARSOME HEADACHE, NAUSEA, LETHARGY, AND GASTROINTESTINAL DISTRESS. PASSENGERS HAVE ALSO REPORTED HEADACHE, NAUSEA, AND FEELING TIRED. WE BELIEVE THIS MAY BE DUE TO EXHAUST ENTERING THE CABIN AND CAUSING CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING. YESTERDAY, ON A LONGER TRIP FROM MILWAUKEE, WI TO CHICAGO, IL AND BACK, I BECAME SO ILL THAT UPON RETURNING HOME, I FELL ASLEEP IMMEDIATELY WITH THE WORST HEADACHE OF MY ADULT LIFE. INTENSE NAUSEA LASTED FROM 2PM (ABOUT 3/4 OF THE WAY THROUGH THE DRIVE) UNTIL ABOUT 9PM. THIS HAS HAPPENED CONSISTENTLY DURING LONGER (GREATER THAN 20-30 MILES) TRIPS. HYDROGEN SULFIDE SMELL IS APPARENT MOST DURING WIDE-OPEN ACCELERATIONS BEFORE ENGINE WARM-UP.
WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY GOING ABOUT 70MPH AND AN ALERT POPPED UP ON THE DASH THAT SAID TERRAIN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FAULT. FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER ALERT THAT SAID SERVICE ADVANCETRAC. FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER ALERT THAT SAID OUR TRACTION CONTROL WAS TURNED OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS STILL DRIVING FINE SO WE DROVE TO THE NEAREST EXIT TO TURNNOFF THE CAR AND RESTART IT. WHILE WE WHERE PULLING OFF THE EXIT RAMP GOING ABOUT 30MPH THE CAR ALERTED US THAT THE HILL ASSISTANCE WAS TURNED OFF. AND ONCE WE STOPPED AT THE GAS STATION AND TURNED THE CAR OFF ONCE WE TURNED IT BACK ON IT ALERTED US EVERY SINGLE ALERT AGAIN AND THEN A NEW WARNING THAT OUR STEERING WAS LOST AND TO PLEASE PULL OVER SAFELY. WE HAVE TRIES TO TURN CAR ON SEVERAL TIMES AND ITS STILL NOT WORKING.
WHEN ACCELERATING OR GOING UP INCLINE CAR STARTS TO SMELL LIKE CARBON MONOXIDE (LIKE THE HEATER IS ON). CIRCULATION IS WITHIN CAR. IN ORDER TO GET OUT MUST PUT ON OUTSIDE CIRCULATION AND ROLL DOWN WINDOWS.
I PURCHASED A 2016 FORD EXPLORER 5 MONTHS AGO. THE CAR HAD 38K MILES WHEN PURCHASED AND NOW HAS 42K MILES. LATELY I HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH THE STEERING WHEN IN CURVES THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKS AND GETS VERY STIFF AND YOU HAVE TO FIGHT IT TO GET THE WHEEL STRAIGHTENED OUT TO KEEP FROM WRECKING. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE LOCAL FORD DEALER WHO STATED THAT THE RACK AND PINION NEEDS REPLACED COSTING $1900.00. FORD STATED THAT WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER MY EXSISTING WARRANTY. I CONTACTED FORD REFERENCE THE ISSUE AND THEY STATED THEY WOULD OPEN A CASE AND HELP WITH COST. I RECENTLY HEARD BACK FROM FORD AND THEY STATED THAT THEY WOULD NOT HELP WITH THE ISSUE EVEN THOUGH IT IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. WHEN THE CAR IS STOPPED IT DOES NOT HAVE THIS ISSUE BUT ONCE YOU ARE MOVING IS WHEN THE STEERING LOCKS. THE VEHICLE IS ONLY 6K MILES OVER BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY AND STILL UNDER POWER TRAIN BUT FORD SAYS THAT THEY ARE NOT GOING TO HELP FIX THIS ISSUE.
DRIVER SIDE EXTERIOR PLASTIC WINDOW PILLAR FLEW OFF WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. WENT TO FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEY WILL NOT COVER SINCE IT IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY. TOTAL BS!!!
MY EXPLORER HAS 29K MILES ON IT AND THE HANKOOK TIRES ARE PEELING! I NOTIFIED THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT SPOKE TO JULIO. WAS TOLD IT IS A COMMON COMPLAINT W THESE TIRES AND IT'S BECAUSE THEY ARE CHEAPLY MADE! I TOLD HIM I'M NOT OKAY W DRIVING AROUND MY BABY AND SON KNOWING THE TIRES ARE PEELING. WE HAVE NOT EVEN HAD THIS VEHICLE FOR TWO YEARS! HE ASSURED ME THEY ARE SAFE AND I TOLD HIM I WANT IT IN WRITING . WELL THE MANAGER WAS TELLING HIM TO TELL ME THEY CAN'T DO THAT BECAUSE IF I HIT SOMETHING AND THEY BURST THEY DO NOT WANT TO BE LIABLE! I OVERHEARD AND WENT OVER AND SHE TOOK ME OUTSIDE AND I STARTED RECORDING HER AND SHE SAID THEY ARE NOT SAFE THEY ARE WORN DOWN!! I THEN TOLD HER THEY SHOULDN'T BE! SHE SAID THEY ALL PERFORMANCE TIRES AND DO NOT LAST AS LONG! I TOLD HER I HAD A HOUR DRIVE BACK W MY 9 MONTH OLD SHE WAS NOT CONCERNED ! I HAVE SENSE BEEN LOOKING ONLINE AND NOTICED THE RECENT RECALL ON HANKOOK TIRES. MINE ARE VENTUS S1 NOBLE 2 AND I CALLED HANKOOK AND WAS TOLD TO CONTACT TXDOT TO COMPLAIN SO HOPEFULLY THEY WILL BE RECALLED AS WELLL. PLEASE DO SOMETHING BEFORE SOMEONE IS SERIOUSLY HURT OR WORSE!!!
THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, AND WHEN WE ATTEMPTED TO START THE VEHICLE BY PUSHING THE START BUTTON, THE VEHICLE DID NOT START BUT A LARGE AMOUNT OF SMOKE POURED OUT OF THE DASHBOARD. THE REPAIR FACILITY PERFORMED A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF WORK WITH THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, BUT STATED THAT THEY DID NOT DISCOVER WHAT THE ROOT CAUSE OF THE ISSUE WAS.

THIS IS NOW THE THIRD SIDEWALL FAILURE ON THIS VEHICLE; ALL THREE TIMES, IT WAS THE RIGHT FRONT TIRE. HANCOOK VENTUS S1 NOBLE 255/50R20 TIRES. FIRST OFF, THESE TIRES ARE RATED FOR 50,000 MILES. AT APPROXIMATELY 28,000 MILES, DEALERSHIP STATED THAT THESE TIRES WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED SOON. HAVE READ NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT LOUSY TREAD LIFE AND SIDEWALL FAILURES ON THIS TIRE/VEHICLE. THE DEALERSHIP ALWAYS TRIES TO CLAIM THAT WE MUST HAVE HIT A POTHOLE. THIS IS NOT THE CASE! THESE TIRES ARE CRAP! FORTUNATELY, ALL THREE INCIDENTS HAVE OCCURRED AT (RELATIVELY) LOW SPEED ON SURFACE STREETS. THANKFULLY, THEY DIDN'T OCCUR AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. MY WIFE DOES NOT FEEL SAFE IN THIS VEHICLE AND WE STILL HAVE APPROXIMATELY 10 MONTHS LEFT ON THE LEASE.
SMELL OF EXHAUST ENTERS IN PASSENGER CABIN WHENEVER DRIVING WHEN RPMS ARE HIGHER.
2016 FORD EXPLORER XLT WAS GREAT UNTIL I HIT 17,680 MILES. TRANSMISSION WENT INTO "LIMP MODE" AND WOULD NOT ACCELERATE. ENGINE/WRENCH LIGHT APPEARED ON THE DASH AND I BASICALLY CRAWLED TO THE DEALERSHIP. VERY SCARY WHEN STOPPED, PUT THE PEDAL TO FLOOR AND WOULD BARELY MOVE. AFTER A FEW DAYS AT THE DEALERSHIP, THEY SAID IT APPEARED TO BE THE CLUTCH AND THEY REPLACED IT. GOT IT BACK AND TWO DAYS LATER, IT DID IT AGAIN. DROVE BACK TO DEALERSHIP AND THEY HAD IT FOR A DAY, BUT COULDN'T GET IT TO DO IT, SO I GOT IT BACK. TWO DAYS LATER, IT HAPPENED ONCE AGAIN. DEALERSHIP SAID IF IT HAPPENED AGAIN, DRIVE IT RIGHT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND DON'T TURN IT OFF. A TECH WENT FOR A RIDE WITH ME AND WAS ABLE TO SEE WHAT WAS HAPPENING. WHEN WERE DRIVING BACK, LIGHTS ON DASH WENT OFF AND THE CAR DROVE FINE. THE TECH SAID NOT TO WORRY, THEY'D BE ABLE TO GET A CODE EVEN THOUGH THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH WENT OFF. SO I'M ON MY 3RD RENTAL AND WAITING TO HEAR WHAT WILL BE DONE. LUCKILY I LEASED MY EXPLORER AND EVERYTHING IS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. MY ADVICE IS STAY FAR AWAY FROM ANY FORD PRODUCT WITH THIS TRANSMISSION! IT'S DANGEROUS AND COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE.
CARBON DIOXIDE WARNING. DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING THE VEHICLE, WANT TO RETURN AND A DESERVE ALL FUNDS RETURNED. WHAT IS BEING SAID ON THE NATIONAL NEWS IS ABSURD AND IF FORD KNOW ABOUT THIS AND PUTTING MY LIFE AND MY FAMILY'S LIVES AT RISK.
RE: CASE NUMBER IS 1095836. I AGAIN EXPERIENCED CARBON MONOXIDE IN MY 2016 FORD EXPLORER CABIN. ONCE ON SEPTEMBER 3, 2017 ON A DOWNHILL PATH ON A RURAL ROD IN THE MOUNTAINS ABOVE SANTA FE, NM WITH THE AIR CONDITIONER ON, BUT NOT ON RECIRCULATE MODE AND AGAIN IN SANTA FE ON A CITY STREET ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2017 WITH THE AIR CONDITIONER ON. BOTH TIMES I WAS DRIVING AT 20 - 30 MPH. I HAVE A CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR INSTALLED IN THE THIRD ROW OF THE EXPLORER WHICH SET OFF AN ALARM. I IMMEDIATELY TURNED OFF THE A/C AND OPENED THE WINDOWS. THE ALARM TURNED ITSELF OFF ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. I DID NOT NOTICE ANY EXHAUST FUMES. THE FIRST TIME I WAS IN A LINE OF TRAFFIC WITH 3 - 4 CAR LENGTHS BETWEEN THE CAR THAT I WAS FOLLOWING. THE SECOND TIME THERE WAS NO TRAFFIC AHEAD OF ME ON THE CITY STREET.

I HAVE A 2016 FORD EXPLORER LIMITED EDITION UNDER MY DADS NAME AND MY WIFE IS THE PRIMARY DRIVER ON IT. AFTER GETTING OUR CAR I DROVE IT DAILY AS COMMUTER FOR 2 MONTHS AND SOMETIMES I SMELL SOMETHING BAD INSIDE LIKE BURNED TIRES BUT I JUST IGNORED IT BECAUSE I SAID MY CAR IS BNEW AND MAYBE ITS FROM OUTSIDE AND AFTER THAT MY WIFE START DRIVING IT BUT LAST DECEMBER 2016 WE WENT TO VEGAS AND I JANSSEN (HUSBAND) IS THE ONE DRIVING ON THE CAR AND SMELLED SOMETHING BURNED TIRES INSIDE THE CAR WHILE CRUISING ON IT, I CHECKED THE TIRES/BREAK OUTSIDE BUT I DONT SMELL IT FROM OUTSIDE, SO AFTER THAT WE WENT TO OUR DEALER AND CHECKED IT FOUND OUT THERES A CARBON MONOXIDE PRESENT INSIDE AND THEY FIXED IT BY COVERING THE HOLES OF THE CAR THAT MAY BE THE ENTRY OF SMOKE FROM OUTSIDE AND UPDATING THE SYSTEM AS PER SERVICE GUY TOLD ME "RENE" AND SAID EVERYTHING WORKS WELL NOW. AFTER FEW MONTHS IT WAS JUNE 2017 I SMELLED IT AGAIN AND CONCERNED ME MORE BECAUSE MY WIFE IS PREGNANT AND I KNOW CO2 IS REALLY BAD ON OUR HEALTH AND I KNOW THAT BECAUSE WE ARE BOTH NURSES AND WE SENT IT BACK TO THE DEALER AND MY SERVICE GUY "LUIS " TOLD ME THEY PUT SOME RUBBER IN THE REAR DOOR FOR THE PURPOSE OF SEALING THE DOOR THAT MAYBE THE SMOKE FROM THE EXHAUST IS THE ONE CAUSING IT AND TAKE NOTE " THE CAR STAYS 1 WEEK IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT". AND NOW SEPT 2017 THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING AND I CALLED MY DEALERSHIP, I SPOKE TO LUIS AND CASEY AND THEY TOLD ME THERE'S STILL WAITING FOR THE SERVICE MANAGER BECAUSE THEY ARE BUSSY, I TOLD THEM MY CONCERN THAT MY WIFE IS PREGNANT SHE'S ON 8 MONTHS NOW AND IT MAKES ME REALLY CONCERNED OF WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE CAR BUT THEY JUST TOLD ME TO WAIT, AND MY WIFE DAILY CAR IS IT. 2016 FORD EXPLORER XLT V6 TI-VCT FLEX FUEL VEHICLE (FFV). EXHAUST ENTERS CABIN DURING ACCELERATION. PUTRID ODOR OF EXHAUST RESEMBLES A FOUL BLEND OF VOMIT, ROTTEN EGGS, BURNT HAIR, BURNT WAX. HEADACHE AND HORRIBLE SMELL LINGERS IN SINUSES CONTINUES TO DAY FOLLOWING EXPOSURE. STENCH IS MUCH WORSE UNDER HEAVY ACCELERATION AND/OR DRIVING UPHILL WITH REAR A/C ON HIGH FAN SPEED. FORD SERVICE ACKNOWLEDGED WIDE-SPREAD PROBLEM PERFORMED TSB 17-0044 SEALING UNDERBODY SEAMS, REPROGRAMING REAR A/C AND REPLACING EXHAUST COMPONENTS. TSB 17-0044 IS INEFFECTIVE AND PROBLEM PERSISTS. 1. FORD HAS NOT ISOLATED SOURCE OF EXCESSIVE CARBON MONOXIDE (CO), HYDROCARBONS (HCS) AND NITROGEN OXIDES (NOX). IS ENGINE DEFLECTION UNDER ACCELERATION IMPACTING EXHAUST MANIFOLDS CAUSING LEAKAGE IN PIPE JOINTS? TOLD TO BRING BACK CAR AFTER PART'S ARE ORDERED. GOT A CALL 8/16 THAT PARTS ARE BACKED ORDERED AS SO MANY OWNERS HAS BROUGHT THEIR SUV'S IN WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. IT WILL TAKE 2-3 WEEKS TO GET THE PARTS AND 1.5 DAYS OF WORK. SUV WAS PURCHASED ON 7/4/2016. ODORS ARE ESPECIALLY STRONG WHEN VEHICLE IS REMOTE STARTED AND A/C IS RUNNING. ALSO NOTICE SAME BAD ODORS AROUND ENGINE AREA OF VEHICLE WHILE RUNNING OR AFTER TURNED OFF - EVEN UP TO 2 HOURS AFTER ENGINE HAS STOPPED. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING WITH A CO2 DETECTOR IN THE VEHICLE - AND TO DATE IT HAS NOT BEEN SET OFF - HOWEVER I EXPERIENCE A DRY THROAT AND HEADACHES AFTER DRIVING IN THE VEHICLE FOR SEVERAL HOURS. THE DEALER FIX HAS REDUCED THE SMELL OF BURNING HAIR/ELECTRICAL FIRE, BUT NOT TOTALLY DIMINISHED IT. BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF SPEEDY ACTION FROM THE NHSTA (THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN KNOWN FOR SEVERAL YEARS ACCORDING TO PRESS STORIES), I WILL BE SELLING THE VEHICLE FOR THIS REASON AND THIS REASON ALONE. MY FAMILY DOESN'T LIKE TO RIDE IN THE VEHICLE ANYMORE AND IF THE GOVERNMENT WON'T TAKE ACTION TO LOOK OUT FOR OUR SAFETY, I WILL SIMPLY BUY ANOTHER CAR. THIS PROBLEM HAS PROGRESSIVELY GOTTEN WORSE FROM 17,000 MILES TO MY CURRENT 22,000 MILES. IT SEEMS TO HAPPEN UNDER HARDER THROTTLE CONDITIONS SUCH AS PASSING ANOTHER VEHICLE OR MERGING INTO TRAFFIC. A FEW SECONDS AFTER THIS HARDER THROTTLE APPLICATION, THERE IS A VERY STRONG ODOR OF "SULFUR" SMELLING EXHAUST WHICH FILLS THE VEHICLE. I HAVE NOT TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP YET AS IT IS NOT ONLY AN INCONVENIENCE, BUT FROM WHAT I HAVE READ, FORD DOES NOT HAVE RESOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLEM. ONCE WINDOWS WERE OPENED AND EXHAUST FUMES EXITED THE VEHICLE, I CLOSED THE WINDOWS AND NOTICED NO MORE EXHAUST SMELL UNTIL I PERFORMED A FULL THROTTLE PASSING MANEUVER AND THE SMELL RETURNED AGAIN, PROMPTING ME TO OPEN WINDOWS AGAIN TO CLEAR THE AIR. AFTER THE SECOND INCIDENT, I DROVE THE REST OF THE WAY AT NORMAL THROTTLE WITH NO MORE EXHAUST ODORS OCCURRING. THIS WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING FOR A $41,000 VEHICLE.

I DRIVE MY 2016 FORD EXPLORER MORE THAN 80 MILES A DAY, MOSTLY IN INTERSTATE TRAFFIC. I HAVE NOTICED A STRONG ODOR THAT RESEMBLES MERCAPTAIN OR BURNING FUEL. I HAVE DISMISSED THIS AS TRAFFIC RELATED AND SWITCHED THE A/C TO RECIRCULATE BUT OFTEN HAVE TO VENT BY ROLLING DOWN WINDOWS. THIS IS MOST COMMON WHEN DRIVING WITH THE A/C ON DURING HOT WEATHER CONDITIONS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 FORD EXPLORER. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, CARBON MONOXIDE ENTERED THE VEHICLE THROUGH THE AIR CONDITIONING VENTS, WHICH CAUSED THE CONTACT TO HAVE HEADACHES AND NAUSEA. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS NOT REQUIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (AUTONATION FORD KATY, LOCATED AT 20777 KATY FWY, KATY, TX 77450; (281) 305-8949). THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY ORDERED THE PARTS AND WERE WAITING FOR THEM TO ARRIVE. ONCE AVAILABLE, THE DEALER WOULD REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED AND WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,000.
