UNCONTROLLABLE LOSS OF STEERING ON 2001 FORD F-150 SUPERCREW DUE TO FAILURE OF RIGHT INNER TIE-ROD END. FORD F-150 SKIDDED ACROSS THE ROAD (RIGHT TO LEFT SIDE) AND WENT DOWN INTO A DITCH AND STRUCK A TREE. FORD F-150 WAS TOWED TO NEAREST SERVICE STATION FOR REPAIR OF RIGHT INNER TIE-ROD END.*AK
ON RAINY DAYS WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED AND APPLYING THE BRAKES ABS SYSTEM FAILED. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP, AND MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT WAS NOT FUNCTIONING ANY LONGER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT LONGER ON WARRANTY. *AK
2001 FORD EXPEDITION EDDIE BAUER MODEL HAS CAUGHT ON FIRE BY ITSELF AT MY DEALER LOT ON AUGUST 21 2004. I HAVE JUST INFORMED BY FRIENDS THAT THERE IS A RECALL FOR THESE VEHICLES. I DO HAVE A SURVEILLANCE CAMERA THAT HAS RECORDED THE ENTIRE EVENT EARLY IN THE MORNING. *JB
DURING A ROUTINE INSPECTION, THE MECHANIC INFORMED THE CONSUMER THAT THE VIBRATION HE FELT WHEN DRIVING WAS DUE TO WORN TIE RODS. *JB
1) WHILE DRIVING KIDS TO SCHOOL, ELECTRIC SUN ROOF WAS PLACED IN THE FULL OPEN POSITION, AFTER DECIDING THE MORNING AIR WAS TOO COOL FOR THE CHILDREN AN ATTEMPT WAS MADE TO CLOSE SUN ROOF. 2) THE UNIT WOULD NOT CLOSE, IT HAD FIALED IN THE FULL OPEN POSITION. DRIVER HAD TO PULL TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD DUE TO THE DISTRACTION OF THE ROOF NOT CLOSING. AFTER DETERMINING THE ROOF WAS NOT GOING TO CLOSE, THE DRIVER TOOK THE VEHICLE HOME. WITH RAIN EMANATE IN THE AREA FROM HURRICANE BONNIE AND CHARLEY. THE TRUCK WAS TAKEN TO A FORD DEALER. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT FOUND THE MOTOR ASSEMBLY HAD FAILED. 3) A NEW MOTOR ASSEMBLY WAS ORDERED, THIS IS WHEN THE DEALER FOUND OUT DUE TO FAILURES AND A DESIGN FLAW THE MOTOR ASSEMBLE WAS REDESIGNED.*AK
I OWN A FORD F150 5.4L LARIAT 4X4 THAT RECENTLY HAD A BLOWN PLUG IN #4 CYLINDER. MY TRUCK HAS 9200 MILES ON IT. I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD WHEN THIS HAPPENED. I DROVE THE TRUCK TO A FORD DEALER ON ALL 8 CYLINDERS FOR A TUNE-UP AND ADVISED OF WHAT HAD HAPPENED. THEY ACTED OBLIVIOUS TO THE PROBLEM AND SUPPOSEDLY THEIR 20 YR TECH COULD NOT GET THE 4TH PLUG BACK IN ALL THE WAY WHEN HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE CHANGING THE PLUGS. I LATER FOUND THAT "BLOW BYS" IN THE FORD 5.4L ENGINE IS ACTUALLY VERY COMMON. THE MECHANIC AT THE FORD DEALER TOTALLY STRIPPED THE #4 CYLINDER AND FORD WANTED TO CHARGE ME $2700 TO REPLACE THE HEAD. I TOOK MY TRUCK TO A PRIVATE SHOP AND HAD STAINLESS STEEL SLEEVES PUT IN ALL 8 CYLINDERS, SINCE THE PROBLEM IS DUE TO THE HEADS BEING ALUMINUM AND THE PLUGS BEING STEEL. WHEN THESE 2 DISSIMILAR METALS EXPAND AND CONTRACT AT DIFFERENT TEMPATURES, CAUSING THE PLUGS TO EVENTUALLY WORK THEIR WAY OUT. HOW DO WE GET FORD TO OWN UP TO THEIR DESIGN ISSUE AND STOP PASSING ON THE PROBLEM AT THE CONSUMERS' EXPENSE?*AK
THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED HIS VEHICLE WAS ON FIRE. THE FIRE WAS COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE CLOSE TO THE FIRE WALL. THE CRUISE CONTROL HAD FAILED ABOUT 2 WEEKS OR A MONTH PRIOR TO THE FIRE. NO AFTER MARKET EQUIPMENT ON VEHICLE. NO STRUCTURE DAMAGE. WILL E-MAIL PHOTOS TO BRUCE YORK.
WHEN CONSUMER APPLIED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE IT WOULD NOT HOLD. AS A RESULT THE VEHICLE ROLLED BACKWARDS DAMAGING THE TAILGATE. DEALERSHIP INSPECTED VEHICLE SEVERAL TIMES, BUT PROBLEM WAS NOT RESOLVED. *AK *NM
AT 28000 MILES, AFTER HAVING MY TIRES ROTATED, I WAS INFORMED BY THE DEALER THAT BOTH LOWER FRONT BALL JOINTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. AT 28000 MILES!. VEHICLE IS A 2001 FORD F150 XL PICKUP TRUCK, 6 CYL. AUTO. I FEEL THAT THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL AND FORD MOTOR COMPANY BE MADE TO REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE PARTS AT THEIR EXPENSE!*AK
WHILE SITTING AT A STOP SIGN THE SPARE TIRE CABLE BENEATH THE VEHICLE SNAPPED. THIS CAUSED THE SPARE TIRE TO FALL TO THE GROUND.*AK
PROBLEMS WITH GENERAL TIRE EQUIPMENT ON FORD F150. *MR ABOUT A YEAR AGO THE CONSUMERS NOTICED THAT HIS TIRES HAD A DEFINITE CONCAVE LOOK ACROSS THE SURFACE OF THE TREAD. THE TIRE PRESSURE WAS AT THE RECOMMENDED PRESSURE. ABOUT EIGHT MONTHS AGO, HE NOTICED A SLIGHT NOISE, ONLY ON ROUGH ROADS. THE NOISE HAD BECOME GREATER WHICH WAS DUE TO BELT SEPARATION ON TWO OF THE FOUR TIRES. *SC *JB
WHEN I START MY CAR THERE IS A TICKING NOISE THAT SOUNDS LIKE ITS COMING FROM AROUND THE LEFT FRONT TIRE. IT TICKS UP UNTIL ABOUT 10-15 MPH AND WHEN I STOP I CAN HEAR IT. WHEN I TAKE OFF AGAIN IT STARTS TO TICK UNTIL I PASS THE 10-15 MPH MARK*AK
THE REAR MIDDLE SEAT BELT AND REAR PASSENGER SIDE SEAT BELT WERE INOPERATIVE. CONSUMER WAS UNABLE TO BUCKLE THE SEAT BELT. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. *AK
MY TRUCK DEVELOPED A VIBRATION AND BEGAN TO HAVE TROUBLE ACCELERATING. SOMETIMES IT WOULD SHAKE VIOLENTLY AT IDLE. I BROUGHT IT TO MY DEALER AND HAD A TECHNICIAN RIDE WITH ME. HE FELT THE SHUDDERING AND SAID MY ENGINE WAS MISFIRING. THE COIL PACK AND PLUG (I BELIEVE #1) HAD TO BE REPLACED. THIS, OF COURSE, OCCURRED JUST AFTER MY TRUCK WAS OUT OF WARRANTY (47K MILES). AN EMPLOYEE TOLD ME SHE HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO HER TRUCK AFTER SHE BOUGHT IT USED.*AK
WHILE DRIVING AT 65 MPH AND WITHOUT ANY INDICATION, THE VEHICLE REAR TIRE BLEW OUT. CONSUMER INSPECTED VEHICLE AND NOTICED A DAMAGE TO THE FENDER. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER DETAILS. GENERAL GRABER P25570R60 FORD SPORT TRACK. *LA
FIRE IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT CNG VEHICLE. *BF THE PROBLEM WAS DUE TO THE BI-FUEL CNG AND GASOLINE VEHICLE IN THE CONSUMERS GOVERNMENT FLEET. THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND WHEN THE CONSUMER RETURNED HE FOUND SMOKE. THE FIRE SPREAD THROUGH THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO BE A TOTAL LOSS. *SC
FORD F 150 SAFETY ISSUE. *BF (BUILT WITH MAGNESIUM RADIATOR SUPPORTS) THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED DUE TO A FIRE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE CONSUMER PARKED THE VEHICLE AND LATER FOUND THE VEHICLE SMOKING. THE VEHICLE WAS A TOTAL LOSS. *SC *JB
VEHICLE WAS PARKED INSIDE OF PARKING LOT AND IT CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE. NO INJURIES REPORTED. VEHICLE WAS TOWED AND TOTALED BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY. *AK THE FIRE WAS STARTED DUE TO THE MASTER CYLINDER. SMOKE WAS NOTICED COMING FROM THE HOOD AND FLAMES WERE COMING FROM THE DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT WHEEL HOUSING. *SC
VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO PICK UP SUPPLIES. AFTER PICKING UP ORDER, DRIVER APPROACHED VEHICLE AND NOTICED SMOKE COMING OUT OF THE HOOD. 911 WAS CALLED. FIRE DEPT ARRIVED & PUT OUT FIRE IN 10-15 MINUTES. FIRE FIGHTER (NOT INVESTIGATOR) SAID HIS GUESS WAS A GAS LEAK OR FAULTY CNG VALVE THAT HAD A LEAK.*AK WAS VEHICLE PARKED? BBY
THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE UNEXPECTEDLY WHILE IT WAS PARKED. RESULTS SHOWED THAT THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL SHORTAGE IN THE ENGINE, WHICH CAUSED THE PROBLEM. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED BY OWNER. *JB *SC *NM
COULDN'T CHANGE GEAR WHEN I WAS GOING UPHILL, ALMOST CAUSED ACCIDENT. *LA
CONSUMER COMPLAINED ABOUT LOSS OF FREON DUE TO AN ERUPTED HOSE ROUTED AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE RF PLASTIC INNER WHEEL FENDER. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED. *AK THE VEHICLE'S WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED TWO MONTHS PRIOR TO THIS FAILURE, THEREFORE THE REPAIR WAS NOT COVERED. *NM

CONSUMER INDICATED THAT WHILE DRIVING ANYTIME AND AT ANY SPEED AIR BAG INDICATOR LIGHT FLASHED. VEHICLE WAS SERVICED. AND TECHNICIAN DETERMINED THAT ABS PUMP AND MODULE WERE THE CAUSE. *AK
2001 FORD F150 32,000 MILES. BLEW #3 SPARK PLUG ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. FORD MOTOR CORP HAD TO REPLACE THE CYLINDER HEAD.*AK
DT: THREE TIRES ON THE CONSUMER'S RV HAD BLOW AT DIFFERENT TIMES. THE CONSUMER CONSULTED A DEALER WHO REPAIRED THE TIRES AND NOTED THAT THE SIDEWALLS WERE TOO WEAK. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT WILLING TO HELP. FIRESTONE WILL NOT RETURN CONSUMER'S PHONE CALLS. THESE FAILURES OCCURRED AT 18,000 MILES. THE 4TH TIRE FAILED AT 15,000 MILES. THIS PROBLEM WAS PREVALENT WITH THE REAR TIRES (FIRESTONE STEELTEX TIRES). *NM
CAME HOME FROM WORK. LEFT IN ANOTHER VEHICLE. RECEIVED PHONE CALL FROM LANDLORD THAT TRUCK WAS ON FIRE AND HAD CAUGHT HOUSE ON FIRE. FAMILY FORCED TO MOVE AFTER HAVING ONLY MOVED TO THIS HOME 2 WEEKS PRIOR. TRUCK DESTOYED AS WELL AS HOME AND FURNISHINGS AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS. EXTENSIVE EXPENSE AND EMOTIONAL TRAUMA. *AK VEHICLE PARKED
VEHICLE HAD APPROX. 60K MILES. WAS PARKED IN DRIVEWAY FOR ABOUT ONE HALF HOUR. NEIGHBOR SAW FIRE ON THE GROUND UNDER THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT TOWARD THE REAR(FIREWALL). CRUISE CONTROL QUIT WORKING ABOUT 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE FIRE. FIRE ORIGIN IS IN VICINITY OF BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER. TYPICAL OF CRUISE CONTROL DEACTIVATION SWITCH FAILURE. PARTS WERE RECOVERED BUT ALUMINUM BAND ON HEXPORT BODY WAS MELTED AWAY THEREFORE DO NOT HAVE DATE CODE. *JB
A SPRING IN THE DRIVER'S CLOTH SEAT UPHOLSTERY BROKE. THE SHARP, BROKEN END OF THE STIFF SPRING WIRE PRESENTS A REAL PUNCTURE, HAZARD TO THE DRIVER'S UPPER LEG / THIGH. I HAVE EXPERIENCED SCRAPES JUST ENTERING AND SITTING IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT.*AK
1. WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, VEHILE SHOOK. TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES FOR REPAIRS AT MY EXPENSE. 2. SEVERAL "GOLD" SPARK PLUGS REPLACED DUE TO THE SHAKE...MY EXPENSE 3. COIL REPLACED DUE TO THE SHAKE. MY EXPENSE 4.AT 49,000 MILES TRIED TO BACK OUT OF DRIVE WAY AND IT WOULD NOT GO INTO GEAR. HAD TO DRIVE THROUGH YARD TO GET OUT, TOOK TO DEALERSHIP, REPLACED TRANSMISSION. DEALERSHIP PAYED FOR ALL BUT $500.00 5. AT 60,000 HAD TO HAVE TORQUE CONVERTER AND FLYWHEEL REPLACED. TRUCK WOULD MAKE LOUD RATTLING/VIBRATION NOISE - DEALER WOULD NOT COVER COST - MY EXPENSE 6. TRY TO START VEHICLE, AS SOON AS YOU RELEASE KEY IT SHUTS OFF, CANNOT KEEP IT RUNNING WHILE IDLE, CURRENTLY HAVING IT TOWED TO DEALERSHIP. *AK
I HAD SOME WARRANT ISSUES WITH FORD MOTOR CORPORATION. TRIM AROUND WINDSHIELD,FADED GRILL AND BASE NOT WORKING ON RADIO. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE AC AND EMISSIONS. I TURNED ON THE AC AND THE TRUCK STARTED TO RUN BAD JERKING AND SPUTTERING. TOOK IT TOO FORD AND THEY REPLACED A SENSOR. THIS SUMMER THE FIRST TIME I TURN ON MY AC AND THE SAME PROBLEM THIS TIME ITS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. I HAVEN'T PUT 14K MILES ON THE TRUCK. DOES EMISSIONS HAVE SOME TYPE OF EXPECTATIONS SET BY THE EPA OR DOT. IT COST $400. TO GET SENSOR REPLACED. I CANT AFFORD TO REPLACE A SENSOR EVER SUMMER I TURN ON MY AC. *NM
CRUISE CONTROL QUIT WORKING...A MONTH LATER MY TRUCK BURNT TO THE GROUND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. *AK
ON 05-31-04, I WAS DRIVING MY 2001 FORD F150 4WD PICKUP ON A TRIP TO SOUTH FLORIDA. ON THE WAY I STOPPED TO CHECK MY OIL/GAS AND TIRES AND OBSERVED 4 CRACKS ON MY FRONT RIGHT TIRE. THE CRACKS WERE APPROXIMATELLY 1 INCH FROM THE RIM AND APPEARED APPROXIMATELLY 1/8 DEEP. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION I OBSERVED THE DRIVERS SIDE TIRE WAS ALSO DEVEOLPING ADDTIONAL LEEKS. THE TIRES ARE 2001 GOODYEAR WRANGLER RTS 255 70 16. ACCORDING TO RESEARCH THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WONDERING ABOUT A RECALL.*AK
WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH CONSUMER HEARD A LOUD NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT. CONSUMER PULLED OVER, AND HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO A DEALER FOR INSPECTION, AND MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE CYLINDER HEAD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO A SPARK PLUG BLOWOUT. *AK *NM
VEHICLE CAUGHT ON FIRE UNEXPECTEDLY WHEN PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY. RESULTS SHOWED THAT THERE WAS A SHORTAGE IN CRUISE CONTROL, CAUSING THE ENGINE TO CATCH ON FIRE.*AK

NOTICED CRUISE CONTROL WENT OUT DID NOT THINK MUCH ABOUT IT. SMELLED BURNING DROVE INTO MY DRIVE WAY WENT IN HOUSE STARTED DINNER MY HUSBAND WENT OUT TO RUN TO THE CORNER STORE AND MY TRUCK WAS ON FIRE. BURNT INSIDE OF ENGINE YES OLD PARTS ARE THERE NOTHING HAS BEEN REPAIRED AS OF YET. VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION COULD OF BEEN HURT OR MY CHILD COULD OF BEEN HURT. COULD OF BEEN PROPERTY DAMAGE IF I HAD NOT CAUGHT THE FIRE WHEN I DID COULD OF BURNED MY HOUSE DOWN AND OTHERS AROUND ME.

WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC, AND CONSUMER COULD NOT RESTART IT. THE TRAFFIC WAS SO HEAVY THAT CONSUMER COULD NOT EVEN GET OVER TO THE SHOULDER FOR SAFETY. CONSUMER'S LIFE AND HER CHILDREN'S' LIFE WAS IN DANGER FOR APPROXIMATELY ONE HOUR BEFORE HELP ARRIVED. CONSUMER HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE NEAREST DEALER, AND MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE EGR VALVE WAS DEAD. *AK
I HAVE A 2001 FORD F-150 SUPERCREW, AND WHILE DRIVING TO WORK LAST NIGHT ON THE EXPRESSWAY, HEARD A LOUD BANG, AND FOUND OUT THAT A SPARK-PLUG HAD BLOWN RIGHT OUT OF THE CYLINDER HEAD ON THE ENGINE. THE NOISE WAS LOUD ENOUGH, AND THE SUDDEN VIBRATION OF THE ENGINE AT FIRST SOUNDED AND FELT LIKE A TIRE HAD BLOWN. ON DOING A QUICK SCAN OF THE INTERNET, (AT FIRST LOOKING FOR PART NUMBERS) I WAS AMAZED AT THE NUMBER OF EXACT INSTANCES, AND NUMBER OF OTHERS THAT HAVE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE. SOME EVEN POSTING PICTURES THAT RESEMBLE WHAT THE BROKEN PARTS FROM MY TRUCK LOOKED LIKE-- EXACTLY! THE WEATHER CONDITIONS AT THE TIME (11:30 P.M.) DRY ROAD, ABOUT 36 DEGREES, AND VERY LIGHT TRAFFIC. I HAVE VERY LITTLE DOUBT THAT HAD THE CONDITIONS HAVE BEEN SNOWY, ICY OR MAYBE EVEN JUST AS COLD AND WET, THAT THIS TYPE OF SITUATION COULD HAVE CAUSED SOME TYPE OF ACCIDENT. EITHER FROM THE VIBRATION AND SUDDEN NOISE, OR THE SIMPLE STARTLING INCIDENT HAPPENING TO A LESS EXPERIENCED DRIVER. *AK
DT: THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD F150. THE CRUISE CONTROL QUIT ABOUT ONE YEAR AGO. ALSO, ONE MONTH AGO CONSUMER COULD NOT GET VEHICLE OUT OF PARK. YESTERDAY COULD NOT GET VEHICLE OUT OF GEAR AGAIN. HE REPLACED THE FUSE TO CRUISE CONTROL AFTER THAT THE CRUISE CONTROL WORKED. HE BOUGHT MORE FUSES, THEY WOULD BLOW EVERYTIME THE CRUISE CONTROL WAS PLUGGED IN. FORD SAID THAT THE FUSES, CRUISE CONTROL AND THE PARK GEAR WERE NOT CONNECTED BY THE FUSES. SERVICE GARGAE SAID TO UNPLUG THE CRUISE CONTROL. WHEN HE UNPLUGGED THE CRUISE CONTROL, THE VEHICLE CAME OUT OF PARK, AND THE CRUISE CONTROL WOULD WORK. HE CALLED FORD, AND THEY SAID THIS VEHICLE WAS NOT IN A RECALL. AS SOON AS HE STARTED TO PLUG THE CRUISE CONTROL T IT STARTED TO SMOKE. SO HE QUIT, TRYING TO PLUG IT UP.*AK

BOUGHT A 2001 FORD F150 LIGHTNING WITH 32,XXX MILES ON 4/16/04. I WAS DRIVING THE TRUCK BACK FROM MICHIGAN TO TAMPA,FL, AND AFTER REFUELING MY TRUCK, WENT TO START IT UP AND BLEW A SPARK BLUG STRAIGHT OUT OF THE CYLINDER HEAD. AFTER DOING HOURS UPON HOURS OF RESEARCH TONIGHT, THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH NO RECOURSE FROM FORD. THERE IS NO RECALL OR TSB ON THE 99-02 F150 LIGHTNING CYLINDER HEAD, YET IN 03 THEY REDESIGNED THE CYLINDER HEAD WITH ADDED THREADS TO KEEP THE SPARK PLUGS INTACT. I FEEL THAT WITH SO MANY PEOPLE AFFECTED BY THIS, SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT IT.*AK
MY HUSBAND WAS DRIVING OUR 2001 FORD F150 SUPERCREW LARIAT ON 4/14/04. HE WAS STRUCK FROM BEHIND BY A DODGE NEON GOING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH. MY HUSBAND WAS GOING 35 MPH. THE SAFETY BELT DID NOT LATCH NOR DID THE AIRBAG DEPLOY, RESULTING IN MY HUSBANDS BEING THROWN FORWARD AND HITTING HIS HEAD AT GREAT FORCE ON THE WINDSHIELD. THE FORCE OF THE CRASH TOTALLED MY TRUCK, CRACKING AND BENDING THE FRAME. HAD EITHER SAFETY FEATURE WORKED, MY HUSBAND WOULD NOT BE INJURED TODAY. FOUR WEEKS LATER HE SUFFERS FROM SHORT TERM MEMORY LOSS, EXTREME ANGER AND MOOD SWINGS AND HAS SOFT TISSUE DAMAGE TO HIS NECK AND VERTEBRAE. I HAVE 2001 FORD F-150 PICKUP TRUCK. THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE TURN SIGNALS. THEY CANCEL AFTER YOU TURN THEM ON IF YOU TURN THE WHEEL TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT. IT TAKES VERY LITTLE MOVEMENT OF THE WHEEL TO CANCELL THE TURN SIGNAL. IF IT WOULD ONLY CANCELL IF YOU TURNED IN THE DIRECTION OF THE TURN IT WOULD BE OKAY. *AK

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD F-150. SINCE THE DATE OF PURCHASE, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT WOULD NOT LATCH AND CONNECT. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 155,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 63,000.
