ON APRIL 6,2010 DRIVING AND WENT TO OPEN DRIVER SIDE WINDOW HEARD A LOUD POP WINDOW DROPPED DOWN. TOOK TO REPAIR SHOP WHERE MECHANIC FOUND MECHANISM WAS FAULTY IE CABLE BROKE. REPLACED THE MECHANISM FOR $292.00. ON APRIL 7, 2010 AT 3PM MY DAUGHTER WENT TO ROLL HER DOWN AGAIN A POP AND THE WINDOW DROPPED. I AM TAKING TRUCK TO MECHANIC TOMORROW TO HAVE FIXED. I ASSUME IT WILL BE ANOTHER $292.00. I ONLY HAVE 48,000 MILES ON MY TRUCK AND WILL KEEP FAULTY PARTS. *TR
I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN I HEARD A NOISE LIKE WHEN YOU HAVE ONE WINDOW DOWN BUT I WAS DRIVING ALONE AND SO I KNOW I DIDN'T ROLL DOWN A WINDOW AND WHEN I LOOKED BACK, THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR WINDOW WAS FALLING DOWN INTO THE DOOR. I TRIED PUSHING THE POWER WINDOW BUTTON TO TRY TO GET IT TO CLOSE BUT HAD NO LUCK, JUST A RUMBLING NOISE. I WAS VERY UPSET BECAUSE THIS IS THE 2ND TIME IN LESS THAN A YEAR THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO MY 2004 FORD F-150 TRUCK. IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE TO REPAIR AND I THINK FORD SHOULD ISSUE A RECALL SINCE I KNOW AT LEAST 2 OTHER PEOPLE THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO. *TR
FORD F-150 WITH TRITON V-8 SPARK PLUG BLOWOUT. *TR
DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND HEARD A LOUD POP. WINDOW FALLS DOWN. THE NEW PART IS 170.00. *TR
THREE POWER WINDOWS FAILED ON 3 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS ON MY FORD TRUCK. WHILE I WAS DRIVING I HERD A LOUD POP,IT SOUNDED LIKE A GUN SHOT AND ALMOST CAUSED ME TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT AS I SLOWED QUICKLY. THEN I FOUND THE WINDOW HAD ROLLED DOWN ON ITS OWN WHILE IT WAS RAINING . THE WINDOW DROPPED DOWN INSIDE THE DOOR AND I COULD NOT GET IT OUT FROM THE DOOR. IT WAS RAINING AND GETTING IN THE TRUCK. THE OTHER 2 WINDOWS BROKE WHILE ROLLING THEM UP. AGAIN HERD LOUD POP AND THE WINDOWS FALL. I HAVE SHIMES HOLDING MY WINDOWS UP WHILE I INVESTIGATE THIS MATTER. I CANNOT LOCK MY TRUCK AND YOU NEVER KNOW THE SITUATION WHEN THE WINDOW BREAKS IE... WEATHER,HOW FAR AWAY FROM HOME, THE DAMAGE TO THE INTERIOR, THE DANGER OF OTHERS IN THE VEHICLE. I FOUND BLOGS ON THE NET WITH ALOT OF OTHER PEOPLE HAVING THIS SAME PROBLEM. I MIGHT FIX THE PROBLEM MYSELF OR TAKE IT TO THE SHOP. I FOUND YOU CANT BY THE REAR WINDOW PART AT RETAILER. *TR
I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED A 2004 FORD F 150 AND TODAY 3/4/2010 HAS MADE THE SECOND TIME IT HAS BLOWN OUT A SPARK PLUG. APRIL 3, 2010, REAR PAX WINDOW GOES DOWN WITH NOISE, DOES NOT COME BACK UP. TAKE IT TO FORD, WHO REPLACES THE REGULATOR, WITH NO COMMENT ON THAT IT IS AN ISSUE. *TR
HAD JUST ROLLED UP FRONT PASENGER SIDE WINDOW WHEN I HEARD A LOUD THUMP. I WAS IN HEAVY TRAFFIC AND NEARLY @&*^ MY PANTS. I REALIZED THE WINDOW HAD FELL FROM IT'S TRACK AND WON'T GO BACK UP. DEALERSHIP IS CLOSED, WILL BE DRIVING WITH PLASTIC ON THE WINDOW. NOT GOOD. RESEARCHING THIS PROBLEM I SEE IT IS A MAJOR ISSUE, AND LIKELY A SAFETY HAZZARD.
I MONTH AGO, I HAD THE DRIVERSIDE WINDOW REGULATOR REPLACE ON MY 2004 FORD 150, TODAY MY DAUGHTER AND I ARE ON OUR WAY TO THE STORE AND THE WINDOW ON THE REAR PASSENGERS SIDE COMES CRASHING DOWN. IF THIS IS SA KNOW DEFECT WHY IS FROD NOT REPLACING THEM. SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET HURT SOON OR LATER BY THIS.
2004 FORD F-150: THE TRANSMISSION WILL NOT SHIFT OUT OF 4WD WHEN DRIVING. IT WILL HOWEVER SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL. THE FAILURE WAS CAUSED BY THE SOLENOIDS WHICH CAN GET WET AND SHORT OUT RUINING THE ACTUATORS. THIS IS A PART WHICH FORD KNOWS IS DEFECTIVE, BECAUSE THEY HAVE CREATED A NEW PART. THEY CURRENTLY HAVE A TSB OUT ON THIS ISSUE. IN APRIL OF 2006 THEY STARTED PUTTING WATER GUARDS ON THE SOLENOIDS TO ENSURE THIS WON'T HAPPEN. HAVING A TRANSMISSION THAT WILL NOT ENGAGE PROPERLY IS A SAFETY HAZARD. *TR
2004 FORD F-150 VIN#[XXX]. I WAS HAVING A PROBLEM STEERING THE VEHICLE AND THOUGHT IT WAS THE STEERING FLUID/PUMP. PUMP AND FLUID WERE FIND BUT, THEY PROBLEM CONTINUED AND I WAS HAVING CONSIDERABLE ISSUES TRYING TO STEER. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MY LOCAL REPAIR SHOP. ALL TIRE ON STATEN ISLAND NEW YORK. PHONE# 718 447-3400. THE PROBLEM WAS DIAGNOSED AND REPAIRED. THE LOWER STEERING ASSMEBLY WAS BROKEN. THIS SHAFT IS PART #8L3Z3B676B. I WAS INFORMED BY ONE OF THE SHOP MANAGERS THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM AND THAT HE WAS REPAIRING A SECOND FORD A FORD EXCURSION WITH THE SAME SHAFT. 2004 FORD F150 5.4L V8 XLT 2X4 SUPERCAB. APPARENTLY THE WINDOW REGULATOR ON THE DRIVERS SIDE HAS FAILED. UPON INTERNET RESEARCH IT SEEMS THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM THAT IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE. AS A STAY AT HOME DAD OF 2 CHILDREN 2YEARS OLD AND UNDER, I SIMPLY CAN'T HAVE A WINDOW FALL INTO THE DOOR WHILE DRIVING. LUCKILY THE REGULATOR FAILED LATE AT NIGHT AND DID NOT POSE A PROBLEM WITH THE KIDS BEING IN THE VEHICLE. WINDOW DID NOT BREAK BUT WILL NOT OPERATE. *CN
I OWN A FORD F-150 2004 4X4 FOUR DOOR LARIAT MODEL TRUCK. I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THREE OF THE FOUR WINDOW REGULATORS AT A COST IN EXCESS OF $300 EACH. WHEN I INQUIRED FORD ABOUT THE PROBLEM TN THE SERVICE MANAGER TOLD ME THIS WAS A COMMON PROBLEM ON ALL F-150 MODELS MANUFACTURED FROM THE MID 1990'S ON. THEY ALSO WENT ON TO SAY THAT THE PART COULDN'T BE WARRANTED FOR MORE THAN A YEAR AND THAT THE REPLACEMENT HAD NOT BETTER CHANCE OF LONG LIFE THEN DID THE OTHERS. THIS IS NO DOUBT A DESIGN/MANUFACTURING DEFECT WHICH SHOULD BE CORRECTED BEFORE SOMEONE IS HURT OR KILLED. I KNOW FORD, LIKE MANY OTHER AMERICAN FIRMS, IS HAVING A ROUGH TIME WITH THIS ECONOMY BUT THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THIS FLAGRANT DISREGARD OF THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO FORD CUSTOMERS. *TR
THE WINDOW TO THE FORD F-150 WAS DOWN ABOUT HALF WAY. I PRESSED THE BUTTON TO PULL IT BACK UP BUT INSTEAD THERE WAS A CLICKING NOISE AND IT FELL DOWN COMPLETELY. I PRESSED TO BRING IT BACK UP BUT IT WAS USELESS BECAUSE IT DIDN'T FUNCTION CORRECTLY ANYMORE. THIS PROBLEM HAS OCCURED 3 TIMES: THE TWO BACK SEAT WINDOWS AND THE DRIVER'S WINDOW. THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPEND I TOOK IT TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP TO GET IT FIXED AND WAS CHARGED 400 DOLLARS. THIS MALFUNCTION COULD CAUSE SAFTEY HAZARDS. *TR

2004 F150 SUPER-CREW FORD WINDOW REGULATOR/MOTORS AND CABLE/PULLEY ASSEMBLIES. I'VE HAD THREE WINDOWS FALL INTO THE DOOR AFTER MAKING A VERY LOUD NOISE WHILE DRIVING. THIS HAS COST ME OVER $1,275.00
THIRD TIME IN 5 YEARS POWER WINDOW REGULATOR ON MY 2004 FORD F-150 HAS FAILED. FAILURE USUALLY OCCURS WHILE DRIVING. WINDOW SIMPLY FALLS INTO THE DOOR AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO PULL IT BACK UP. WERE THIS TYPE OF INCIDENT OCCUR DURING ADVERSE WEATHER, ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE, SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES ARE HIGHLY LIKELY.
I PURCHASED MY 2004 F150 USED FROM A LOCAL DEALER, I HAD A 30 DAY 3000 MILE WARRANTY. I PURCHASED IT WITH 72,000 MILES FOR $15,899.00. WITHIN 3 DAYS IT STARTED A SHAKING, VIBRATION GOING UP INCLINES AROUND 45 MPH. I CONTACTED DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS THE CATALYTIC CONVERTERS, A DAY LATER IT WAS DOING IT AGAIN, I CALLED DEALER AND THEY SAID I WAS OUT OF MY 30 DAYS. OBVIOUSLY IT WASN'T THE CATS. I READ ALL THE COMPLAINTS ONLINE ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND IT SOUNDS LIKE FORD KNOWS THERE IS A PROBLEM, THEN THEY SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE TO RECALL IT. THIS IS MY WORK TRUCK AND MY ONLY TRANSPORTATION. *TR
THERE ARE FACTORY MADE SQUARE HOLES UNDER THE SIDES OF THE TRUCK. WHEN IT RAINS, THE WHEELS SPLASH WATER INTO THESE HOLES. THE WATER COMES UP INTO THE FLOOR OF THE TRUCK. INSIDE THE TRUCK THERE IS A PLASTIC PANEL ALONG THE EDGES OF THE DOOR THAT POPS OUT. IT IS THE SQUARE HOLES THAT IT POPS OUT OF THAT THE WATER COMES IN THROUGH. I CAN STICK MY FINGER FROM THE UNDER OUTSIDE IF THE TRUCK AND SEE THEM THRU THE HOLES THAT HOLD THE PLASTIC PANELING ON THE INSIDE. THE WATER COLLECTS ALONG WHERE ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES ARE RUNNING AND SOAKS UP INTO THE CARPET. *TR
WINDOW REGULATORS FAILED
I OWN A 2004 FORD F150 SINCE MY TRUCK RUN TO 75,000 MILES ALL FOUR WINDOWS HAVE DROP. FORD IT'S RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS SAFETY ISSUES. THEY NEED TO TAKE OWNERSHIP OF THEIR FACTORY DEFECTS ON THIS WINDOWS I HAVE ALREADY SPEND $900 DOLLARS FIXING ALL 4 WINDOWS. AND FORD WONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. *TR
TWO BROKEN WINDOW REGULATORS WITHIN APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS. I ATTEMPTED TO ROLL DOWN WINDOWS AND I HEARD A NOISE AND WINDOW JUST DROPPED DOWN INTO THE DOOR. NO BROKEN GLASS, BUT VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WITH YOUNG KIDS AND YOU'RE AWAY FROM HOME IN COLD WEATHER.
MY THIRD POWER WINDOW REGULATOR BROKE. EACH TIME IT WAS A DIFFERENT WINDOW. I HAD THEM REPLACED AT THE FORD GARAGE.
2004 FORD F150 WITH ISSUE DURING SPARK PLUG REPLACEMENT. CONSUMER STATES THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE SPARK PLUGS WITHOUT BREAKING THEM CAUSING MORE MONEY TO BE SPENT TO GET THE DEALER OR MECHANIC TO FIX IT. *KB THE CONSUMER STATED ONCE THAT HAPPENS IT INVOLVES REMOVING THE HEAD AND INCURRING CHARGES OF $2,000 TO $2, 5000 IN LABOR COSTS. *JB
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH INTO A PARKING SPACE, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED. WHEN THE CONTACT STOPPED THE VEHICLE TO ALLOW A PEDESTRIAN TO PASS, IT LUNGED FORWARD. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PLACED IN NEUTRAL GEAR THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP. THE FAILURE OCCURRED FIVE TIMES. THE VEHICLE REMAINED AT THE DEALER FOR AN ENTIRE DAY AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50315 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 50315.
PROBLEM POWER WINDOWS, WITHIN ONE WEEK THE DRIVERS WINDOW FELL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR, AND NEXT ON THE FREEWAY THE PASSENGER WINDOW SLAMMED DOWN, APPARENTLY THE CABLES ARE INFERIOR. SO HOW COME NO RECALL FOR THIS JUNK. FORD WANTS 700 TO REPLACE WITH THE SAME INFERIOR PARTS. FORD F150. AND NO I DON'T LIVE ON A DIRT ROAD AND IT'S NOT A 4 WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE. *TR
IN 2008 I PURCHASED A 2004 FORD F-150 LARIAT( 4 DOOR). IN MARCH OF THIS YEAR ( 2010) THE POWER WINDOW MECHANISM ON THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE FAILED, CAUSING THE WINDOW TO DROP INTO THE DOOR PANEL. THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE PASSENGER DOOR FAILED IN JUNE OF THIS YEAR WITH THE SAME RESULT. TODAY, SEPT 7, THE REAR PASSENGERS SIDE DOOR WINDOW MECHANISM FAILED CAUSING THE WINDOW TO DROP INTO THE DOOR. I HAVE DONE SOME RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET AND I FIND THE FAILURE OF THE POWER WINDOW MECHANISM TO BE FAIRLY COMMON. THIS IS A DEFINITE SAFETY HAZARD AS AN UNEXPECTED LOWERING OF THE WINDOW CAN CAUSE ITEMS INSIDE THE TRUCK TO FLY AROUND INSIDE THE CAB AND CREATE A SAFETY HAZARD TO THE DRIVER. IT WOULD SEEM THAT FORD HAS HAD AN UNUSUAL NUMBER OF THIS FAILURES AND SHOULD MAKE THE REPAIRS AT THEIR COST IN ORDER TO PREVENT SERIOUS ACCIDENTS. *TR
2004 F-150 SUPERCREW 2WD. PASSENGER WINDOW SLID DOWN WITHOUT WARNING. TRIED TO RAISE IT BUT NOTHING HAPPENED. CAN HEAR THE MOTOR RUNNING BUT WILL NOT RAISE THE WINDOW. THOUGHT IT JUST CAME OFF THE TRACK, BROUGHT IT TO THE SHOP AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE $250-300 FOR REPAIR. THEN I SAW ALL THE OTHER COMPLAINTS ON THIS SITE... SOUNDS LIKE THERE IS A GOOD CASE FOR A RECALL TO FIX A SUB-PAR PART. *TR

I WAS DRIVING WHEN THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW DROP AND WOULD NOT COME BACK UP. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND THAT THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS PROBLEM WITH REGULATORS IN FORD F 150 TRUCKS WHICH IS WHAT I AM REPORTING. THE WINDOW REGULATOR FAILED. *TR
MY FORD F150 FRONT PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW REGULATOR BROKE WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY. COULD HAVE GOTTEN INTO A CRASH. NOW I HAVE TO SPEND 400 DOLLARS TO REPLACE. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 FORD F150 4X4. WHILE DRIVING 57 MPH THE VEHICLE LOST ALL POWER AND SHUT OFF. THE VEHICLE SLOWLY CRUISED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED STATING LOW OIL PRESSURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT A DIAGNOSTIC TEST SHOWING CODES P091 FOR THE FUEL RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR WHICH WAS REPLACED ALONG WITH THE FUEL PUMP. THE FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE CORRODED AND THE HOUSING WAS CRACKED WITH A HOLE IN IT THAT ALSO SHORTED OUT AND CAUSED THE FAILURE TO OCCUR. THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 91,450.
ON A TRIP WITH MY FAMILY AND WE WERE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY, WHEN MY REAR RIGHT WINDOW JUST DROPPED DOWN. SINCE THEN I HAVE HAD 2 OTHER WINDOWS THAT HAVE BEEN ROLLED DOWN AND COULD NOT BE ROLLED BACK UP. THREE OF MY POWER WINDOW REGULATORS HAVE NOW FAILED ON MY TRUCK. *TR

ON SATURDAY, 3/6/10 MY THIRD WINDOW REGULATOR WENT OUT ON MY FORD F150 XLT QUAD CAB. I PURCHASED THE TRUCK IN AUGUST OF 2008 AND I HAVE REPLACED 2 REGULATORS SO FAR. THIS SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE WITH THIS TRUCK, THERE ARE MANY OF THE SAME COMPLAINTS THAT I HAVE FOUND ON THE INTERNET. I CONTACTED WITTMEIER FORD WHEN THE FIRST ONE WENT OUT AND WAS TOLD THAT THE WINDOW REGULATOR WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. THE SECOND WINDOW REGULATOR WENT OUT IN NOVEMBER 2009 AND I HAD IT FIXED THEN. THIS IS NOW THE THIRD REGULATOR THAT WENT OUT, I WENT TO WITTMEIER FORD TODAY AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE COVERING THIS WINDOW EITHER. PLEASE REVIEW THIS WEBSITE FOR OTHER COMPLAINTS. I OWN A 2004 FORD THAT THE SPARK PLUG EDJECTED FROM THE HEAD. I TOOK THE TRUCK INTO A GARAGE AND THEY PUT A HELICOIL IN, THAT LASTED 1 WEEK AND BLEW OUT AGAIN. NOW I NEED A NEW HEAD.
ON MON. MARCH 1 OF THIS YEAR I WENT TO MY TRUCK, A 2004 FORD F-150 TO GO TO WORK AND IT WOULDN'T START. I HAD IT TOWED MY LOCAL REPAIR SHOP AND WAS INFORMED LATER THAT DAY THAT THE "FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE", WHICH IS MOUNTED ON TOP OF THE GAS TANK, HAD CORRODED AND SHORTED-OUT. THIS MODULE IS DESIGNED TO REGULATE GAS FLOW FROM THE FUEL PUMP AND WHEN IT FAILS, IT COMPLETELY SHUTS DOWN THE PUMP...NO GAS MEANS NO GO. I WAS THEN INFORMED THAT FORD MOTOR CO. DOES NOT HAVE ANY AND THAT THE PART IS ON BACK-ORDER UNTIL MAY!! AFTER CALLING 9 DIFFERENT FORD DEALERS AND GETTING THE SAME ANSWER OF "GOOD LUCK IN FINDING ONE AS THERE HAS BEEN A RUN ON THESE IN THE NORTHEAST DUE TO HEAVY SALT USE" IT SEEMS NO-ONE HAS ANY. I KNOW THIS WAS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE IN MY CASE BUT TO TELL CUSTOMERS TO WAIT 2 MONTHS BEFORE THEY CAN GET THEIR TRUCK BACK IS INSANE. AND IF IT HAPPENS WHILE DRIVING IT COULD BE A MAJOR PROBLEM. I JUST FEEL FORD SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER PREPARED FOR THIS ...2 MONTH WAIT IS UNHEARD OF. *TR
2ND WINDOW REGULATOR FAILURE IN 2 MONTHS. WINDOWS CAME CRASHING DOWN BOTH TIMES WHILE DRIVING ON CITY STREETS. EXPENSIVE REPAIRS FOR A SMALL DEFECTIVE PART. *TR
DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW MADE LOUD POP AND SLID DOWN INSIDE THE DOOR. WAS NOT OPERATING WINDOW AT TIME OF INCIDENT. WHEN I TRIED TO ROLL THE WINDOW UP USING THE POWER WINDOW BUTTON I ONLY HEARD A LOUD GRINDING SOUND. *TR

THERE WERE NO EVENTS LEADING TO THE FAILURE OTHER THAN NORMAL USE. I HAVE HAD TWO WINDOW REGULATOR FAILURES ON MY TRUCK AND EACH TIME THE WINDOW FALLS INTO THE DOOR. THE FIRST TIME I WAS DRIVING IN A SEVERE SNOWSTORM AND THE NEXT ON THE HIGHWAY ON A TRIP TO CEDAR POINT. THE TRIP TO CP WAS MORE A SECURITY ISSUE BUT WHEN THE SNOW AND ICE WERE FLYING INTO MY TRUCK IT WAS VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE. *TR
2004 F150 WINDOW . WINDOW JUST FELL IT WAS POURING DOWN RAIN. MADE IT HARD TO DRIVE WHEN THE RAIN WAS POURING IN THE WINDOW. *TR
THE 'ENGINE FUEL CONTROL MODULE' ON MY 2004 FORD F-150 4X4 EXTENDED CAB, 6 3/4FT BED, 5.4L 3V ENGINE 4X4 HAS FAILED DUE TO POOR DESIGN. THE MODULE IS LOCATED UNDER THE BED OF THE TRUCK, AND CRACKS WHEN HIT BY PEBBLES THAT ARE INEVITABLY KICKED UP. WATER THEN GETS INTO IT AND IT FAILS CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STOP AND NOT RUN AT ALL. ONCE THE MECHANIC FOUND OUT WHAT THE ISSUE WAS, HE THEN TRIED TO ORDER THE PART. THE MODULE IS ON NATIONAL BACK ORDER, 3 MONTHS I'LL HAVE TO WAIT TO RECEIVE IT. THIS IS MY ONLY SOURCE OF TRANSPORTATION AND I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. I PAID OVER $30.000 FOR THIS VEHICLE AND NOW I CANNOT DRIVE IT BECAUSE OF A $77 PART THAT I CANNOT GET. FORD SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS ISSUE AND THE TIME THAT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT. IF IT IS ON 'NATIONAL BACK ORDER', THEN OBVIOUSLY THERE IS A DESIGN ISSUE AND A RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED. 3 MONTHS BACK ORDER IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. IS FORD MOTOR CO GOING TO GIVE ME A RIDE TO WORK, THE DOCTORS, ETC WHILE I WAIT FOR THE PART TO COME IN? SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE. PLEASE DO YOUR BEST TO LOOK INTO THIS AND FIND A SOLUTION. POWER WINDOW ASSEMBLY CABLE CAME LOOSE AFTER PLASTIC PULLEY BROKE, WINDOW FELL DOWN ON BOTH THE REAR DRIVERS SIDE AND THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE. *TR
POWER WINDOW REGULATOR, DRIVER AND PASSENGER WINDOWS HAVE FAILED. WAS GOING THREW TOLL BOOTH AND WINDOW FELL. WITH IN 2 WEEKS THE PASSENGER WINDOW HAS DONE THE SAME THING. AFTER LOOKING FOR PARTS, I HAVE FOUND THAT THIS IS HAPPENING TO A LOT OF PEOPLE. *CN
