MY VEHICLE COMPLETE TURNED OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY AT 60 MPH. NO STEERING WHEEL NO BRAKES AFTER THAT AND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY TOOK THIS TRUCK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THAT THE PROBLEM IS RELATED TO THE INTERNAL TIMING OF THE ENGINE AND IT WILL TAKE 3-4 WEEKS TO GET IT REPAIRED HOWEVER I DO NOT TRUST IN THE CORRECT FUNCTIONING OF THIS VEHICLE ANYMORE. I HAVE A VIDEO OF THE INCIDENT BUT I CANNOT LOAD IT HERE. MY TRUCK WAS BOUGHT NEW IN 2018 AND IT JUST HAVE 30K MILES
WAS ON A DRIVEWAY WITH INCLINE TOWING A TRAILER 500 LBS, LOOPING AROUND STARTED DOWN IN GEAR SHIFTED THEN FREE WHEELED 20 TO 30 FEET SLAMMED INTO GEAR. SECOND TIME IT HAD HAPPENED. FIRST TIME AROUND A CORNER WITH A TRAILER SAME THING, FREE WHEELED THEN SLAMMED INTO GEAR. I HAVE LESS THEN 20,000 MILES ON THE TRUCK. EVERY TIME I GO AROUND THE CORNER TRUCK SHIFT HARD. THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN ON A CITY STREET WHILE THE TRUCK IS IN MOTION. THE FREE WHEELING WAS AN UNSAFE CONDITION. TRANSMISSION IS THE FAULTY PART.
Excessive Oil Consumption. August 2, 2020, low engine oil light came on and 50% loss of engine power. When I pulled over at the nearest gas station my vehicle was 6 quarts low on engine oil. October 6, 2020, only 2000 miles after an oil change by the dealership oil was 1 quart low. May 24, 2021, 7,788 miles after engine oil change by dealership, engine oil was 4 quarts low. My truck consumes 1 quart of oil every 1,750 miles. My fuel economy is poor, averaging 11.5 miles per gallon which should be and and was much better when I first purchased my new vehicle. Intermittent rattle during normal acceleration and deceleration. My engine has lost power and would turn over but not crank for up to 2 hours at a time. This appears to be a wide spread issue with owners of the F150 truck year 2018 - 2019. FORD NEEDS TO RESPOND AND FIX THIS ISSUE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS AT NO COST TO THE CUSTOMER.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, an abnormal clicking sound was coming from the vehicle without warning. The contact had initially taken the vehicle to two dealers who were both unable to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was then taken to Downtown Ford Sacramento (1535 Howe Ave, Sacramento, CA 95825) where a diagnostic test was performed, and an oil leak was discovered coming from the front valve cover of the engine. The mechanic also discovered a defective Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT). The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000.
ON SEVERAL OCCASION I HAVE STARTED MY 2018 FORD F-150 AND THE NAVIGATION SCREEN DOES NOT COME ON, SO WHEN I PUT IT IN REVERSE I HAVE NO BACKUP CAMERA PICTURE. AND WHILE NOT SAFETY RELATED ALL THE OTHER FUNCTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE NAVIAGATION SCREEN ARE NOT OPERABLE (E.G. NO NAVIGATION, RADIO CONTROLS, ETC.) AFTER DRIVING THE VEHICLE AND TURNING IT OFF THE NEXT TIME I START THE VEHICLE THE NAVIGATION SCREEN WORKS.
TRANSMISSION SHIFTS ROUGH AND CLUNKS. MOST NOTICEABLE GOING FROM GEARS1-3 AND FROM 4-5. WILL RANDOMLY SHIFT AND ALMOST CAUSE WHIPLASH WHEN RUNNING ON THE HIGHWAY WITH CRUISE CONTROL ON.
VEHICLE EXPERIENCED AN ENGINE STALL AFTER A 5 HOUR DRIVE (WITH REFUELING STOPS) AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS (I-85 SOUTHBOUND, BETWEEN DURHAM AND ATLANTA), TOWING A 2,000LB EMPTY TRAILER . STALL OCCURRED AFTER STOP AT THE OFF-RAMP. NO ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED, BUT MESSAGE STATING "AUTOSTART/STOP"FEATURE ERROR. CAR WOULD STALL AGAIN IMMEDIATELY AFTER RESTART. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS, ENGINE WOULD NOT STALL IF THROTTLE PRESSED TO KEEP RPM'S ABOVE IDLE. I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE REMAINING 15 MILES (OF TOTAL 350 MI TRIP). FIRST LEG OF THIS TRIP WAS TAKEN DURING THE DAY, WITH A 2,000LB LOAD TOTALLY APPROXIMATELY 4,000LB TOWED, WITH NO ISSUES. THE ABOVE STALL OCCURRED AFTER 2 HOURS OF NIGHT DRIVING.
WHILE DRIVING THROUGH PARKING LOT, TRUCK LOST POWER, TURNED ITSELF OFF, AND DISPLAYED THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE: AUTO STARTSTOP SHIFT TO P, THEN RESTART ENGINE. STILL HAD POWER STEERING, BUT WAS UNABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE UNTIL COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP AND SHIFTING TO PARK.
THE VEHICLE WILL SHIFT HARSHLY AT TIMES AND SOMETIMES WILL NOT SHIFT AT ALL. WE WERE ON FREEWAY ON RAMP AND THE TRANSMISSION JUST DIDN'T SHIFT LEAVING US BASICALLY ALMOST IN AN ACCIDENT FROM NO ACCELERATION AS WE WERE TRYING TO MERGE. THIS HAS HAPPENED MORE THAN ONCE. CAN'T REPLICATE AT DEALER.
EVEN WITH THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS ACTUATOR KNOB SET TO 'OFF', WIPERS CONTINUE TO OPERATE, AS IF ON LOWEST INTERMITTENT WIPER DELAY SETTING.
2018 F-150 WITH 5.0 LITRE V-8 ENGINE HAS LOUD AND CONCERNING KNOCKING WHEN ACCELERATING. THIS IS ESPECIALLY NOTICEABLE WHEN THE TRANSMISSION HAS RECENTLY SHIFTED INTO A NEW GEAR AND BEFORE ENGINE RPMS HAVE CLIMBED BACK UP. WHEN I PULLED OUR BOAT OUT OF THE LAKE A MONTH OR SO AGO, MY GASOLINE ENGINE SOUNDED LIKE AN OLD DIESEL ENGINE DUE TO THE KNOCK. I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE IN THE SHOP THREE TIMES FOR THIS ISSUE, AND THE TECHNICIANS HAVE CONFIRMED THE KNOCK. ON THE SECOND VISIT, FORD ENGINEERS HAD THE TECHNICIANS TAKE APART THE ENGINE AND REPLACE SOME VCT VALVES. THIS DID NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM. THE LAST TIME IT WAS IN, THE FORD ENGINEERS HAD THE TECHNICIANS DRIVE A LIKE MODEL TRUCK (2018 F-150 WITH 5.0 LITRE V-8), AND THAT TRUCK MADE THE SAME KNOCKING NOISES. FOLLOWING THAT, FORD CONCLUDED THAT THIS IS JUST "NORMAL OPERATION" OF THIS ENGINE, AND THERE IS NO CONCERN. I HAVE OWNED MANY VEHICLES, AND THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT "NORMAL OPERATION". I CONTACTED FORD COORPERATE CUSTOMER CARE, AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT THERE IS NOTHING FURTHER TO BE DONE, AND THEY NOW CONSIDER THIS ISSUE CLOSED. IN ADDITION, A QUICK SEARCH ON GOOGLE SHOWS PAGES OF COMPLAINTS OF THIS ENGINE KNOCK ISSUE. IT'S INTERESTING THAT NO PREVIOUS YEAR MODELS OF THIS 5.0L V-8 HAD THIS PROBLEM, BUT, FORD NOW CONSIDERS IT NORMAL. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME WITH THIS ISSUE.
HAD RECALL DONE FOR DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS ISSUE NOW WHEN DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS ARE ACTIVATED TAIL LIGHTS, LICENSE PLATE LIGHTS AND FRONT PARKING LIGHTS ALSO ARE ACTIVATED. DEALER CANNOT REPROGRAM TO TURN OFF TAIL LIGHTS PLATE LIGHTS AND PARKING LIGHTS. I FEEL HAVING TAIL LIGHTS ON CONSTANTLY MAY CAUSE PEOPLE BEHIND YOU TO THINK I AM BREAKING. DO NOT SEE MANY IF ANY VEHICLES WITH TAIL LIGHTS ON DURING DAY LIGHT HOURS
MY DRIVER SIDE REAR DOOR LOCK IS STUCK. YOU CANNOT OPEN IT FROM THE OUTSIDE OR INSIDE. THE LOCK ITSELF IS NOT MOVING AT ALL, EVEN WITH PULLING IT.
THIS TRUCK WAS PURCHASED NEW, FROM TEST DRIVE THRU 2 YEARS OF DRIVING 40,000 MILES I HAVE ALWAYS TURNED OFF START STOP AT EACH START UP. WHEN I FORGET TO TURN OFF IT HAS PREFORMED AS DESIGNED UNTIL LAST WEEK. NOW WHEN START/STOP IS ON AND I COME TO STOP AT RED LIGHT THAT CHANGES GREEN AS SOON AS I STOP THE VEHICLE REQUIRES ME TO GO TO PARK AND RESTART ENGINE. THE SYSTEM WORKS FINE IF RED LIGHT IS OVER 5/10 SECONDS. THIS HAPPENED ON US27 4 LANE AT STOP LIGHT SOMERSET, KY 7/20/2020. THE TRUCK HAS JUST RUN OUT OF WARRANTY 4,000 MILES FORD SERVICE REFUSED TO DELETE THE START STOP FEATURE. THIS IS A UNSAFE FEATURE THAT NOW HAS BECOME A ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN. THE REFUSAL TO DELETE AFFIRMS MY SUSPICION THIS IS A BUILT IN MONEY MAKER FOR OUT OF WARRANTY FORD JUNK.
FIRST TIME TOWING OUR 5000LB TRAILER; DROVE WITHOUT STOPPING FOR APPROXIMATELY 200 MILES ON HIGHWAY. AS PULLING OFF HIGHWAY ON EXIT RAMP THE TRUCK STALLS AS WE COME TO A STOP AND IT WILL NOT START AGAIN. GIVES A MESSAGE SOMETHING ABOUT TURNING OFF THE AUTO STOP. ONLY WAY TO GET THE TRUCK TO MOVE IS TO GIVE LOTS OF GAS AND LET OFF ON BRAKE SLOWLY AND HOPE TRUCK MOVES. NEXT TRIP WITH TRAILER WE TURNED OFF AUTO STOP FEATURE, THIS DID NOT HELP AS AGAIN THE TRUCK STALLED AS WE CAME TO A STOP AT A HIGHWAY EXIT AND WOULD NOT COME BACK ON. DEALERSHIP DISCOVERED TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN18-2249 FOR 2.7L F150 BUILT ON OR BEFORE 27-NOV-2017 "WHILE TOWING-INTERMITTENT ENGINE STALL WHEN COMING TO A STOP" SERVICE BULLETIN INSTRUCTS MECHANIC TO REPROGRAM THE PCM USING THE APPROPRIATE FORD SCAN TOOL AT THE LATEST SOFTWARE LEVEL. DEALERSHIP DID THIS REPROGRAMMING ON OUR TRUCK, BUT SINCE THEY CAN'T TEST THE TRUCK FOR A FIX, BECAUSE IT ONLY STALLS WHEN TOWING FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME, WE HAVE TO PUT OUR SAFETY AT RISK AGAIN AND DRIVE THE TRUCK TOWING OUR TRAILER AT LEAST HUNDRED MILES TO SEE IF THE STALLING HAPPENS. THIS HAS BEEN A VERY STRESSFUL SITUATION SINCE WE WERE UNSURE WHEN THE TRUCK MIGHT DECIDE TO STALL AGAIN WHILE TOWING OUR TRAILER, AS PERHAPS WHEN WE ARE MAKING A TURN. AND NOW THE ONLY WAY WE WILL KNOW IF THE STALLING IS FIXED IS TO TAKE THE TRUCK OUT ON THE HIGHWAY PULLING OUR TRAILER FOR A 100 MILE RIDE-WISH US LUCK! THERE IS DEFINITELY A PROBLEM AND IT SEEMS TO US A VERY DANGEROUS PROBLEM WITH THE FORD 2018 F150 2.7 ECO-BOOST TRUCK. PLEASE INVESTIGATE BEFORE SOME FAMILY ON A CAMPING TRIP GETS KILLED TOWING THEIR TRAILER. THANK YOU.
TAILGATE IS STUCK IN THE OPEN LOCKED POSITION AND CANNOT OPEN. I QUICK GOOGLE SEARCH SHOWS THIS IS A NATIONWIDE PROBLEM. CONTACTED FORD ABOUT IT AND ASKED IF THERE WAS GOING TO BE A RECALL AND THEY SAID TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH YOU GUYS.
apim module only works part time. When it is not working, which is 99% of the time, the radio, GPS, and other devices will not work correctly. Ford diagnostics at the dealership tell me the apim module needs replacing.
TRANSMISSION IS NOT SMOOTH WHEN SHIFTING. MAKES LOUD CLUNKING SOUNDS AND SHUDDERS.
MY HORN STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY. WHEN YOU HONK THE HORN IT SOUNDS LIKE A HIGH PITCHED SCOOTER HORN. IT IS NOT EFFECTIVE AND UNSAFE.

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT TSB`S THERE ARE FOR MY FORD F150
THE BACK GLASS ON MY 2018 F-150 EXPLODED OUTWARDS INTO THE BED OF MY TRUCK WHEN MY WIFE SHUT THE REAR RIGHT DOOR. THE REAR GLASS HAD NO DAMAGE PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT. THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW, BY ME, IN 2018. THE GLASS WAS ORIGINAL FROM THE FACTORY. THE INCIDENT HAPPENED TODAY 04 JULY, 2020. THE TEMPERATURE OUTSIDE WAS 90 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT. SOME GLASS RAINED DOWN ONTO MY INFANT SON'S CAR SEAT BASE. WE WERE VERY LUCKY THAT MY WIFE DECIDED TO PUT SOMETHING INTO THE TRUCK BEFORE WE PUT MY SONS CAR SEAT IN THERE. THE GLASS CUT MY WIFE'S HAND A LITTLE BIT. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY WITH NO KEY IN THE IGNITION.
Very bad rattle on start up from the cam phasers in the 3.5 Ecoboost. Could cause possible engine failure and most likely advanced engine wear. 10 speed automatic transmission already having rough shifts from 3-5 gear change. Clunks into reverse. These issues have been going on since I've gotten the truck, taken it to 3 different dealers and have had my coverage denied. Please note my vehicle only has 39k miles on it. The fact that ford has not recalled these trucks is truly embarrassing. The 10 speed and the 3.5 Ecoboost are notorious for issues.
TRUCK WILL STALL WHILE TOWING WHEN COMING TO A STOP AT EXIT. WILL NOT RESTART EASILY. PUT TRUCK IN PARK, CRANK TILL STARTS, REV ENGINE AND SHIFT INTO DRIVE AND KEEP RPMS UP TO DRIVE AWAY. WILL HAPPEN AGAIN AFTER STOPPING FOR GAS. WHILE TOWING , I WILL FUEL AT THE HALF TANK LEVEL. IT HAPPENS A LOT ON HOT DAYS. USUALLY AFTER ABOUT 2 HOURS + OF DRIVING . NO CODES THROWN AT ANY TIME. DEALER CAN NOT FIND ISSUE. THIS HAS HAPPENED FOR 2 YEARS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AUTOMATIC CRUISE CONTROL WOULD NOT OPERATE AS NEEDED. HE STATED THAT WHILE IN AUTOMATIC CRUISE CONTROL MODE, THE VEHICLE WOULD ACCELERATE WITHOUT WARNING WITH A STOPPED VEHICLE AHEAD OF HIM. THE CONTACT ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE DRIVER'S FRONT SEAT WOULD SLIDE BACKWARDS WITHOUT WARNING WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. THE CONTACT HAD TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO CORWIN FORD NAMPA (5707 E GATE BLVD, NAMPA, ID 83687) WHERE HE WAS INFORMED THAT THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DETECT ANY FAILURES WITH THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED THE SAME INFORMATION AS THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 11,000.
TRUCK HAS HAD TRANSMISSION ISSUES FOR LAST 800 MILES. TRUCK NOW HAS 12700. SHIFTS HARD AND SLIPS ESPECIALLY 3-4-5 GEARS. 5TH GEAR THE WORST ON SLIPPING, ALMOST AS IF I PUT THE TRUCK IN NEUTRAL, THEN IT FINDS THE GEAR AND BUCKS. DEFINITELY A HAZARD TO DRIVE. I HAVE BROUGHT IT INTO FORD 3 TIMES, THE FIRST TIME THEY APPLIED A TSB, SECOND TIME THEY SAID IT WAS NORMAL AND REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING. I CALLED FORD AND SENT IT IN FOR A SECOND OPINION THEY SAID THEY AGREE TRANSMISSION NEEDS WORK BUT REFUSE TO WORK ON IT AS THE FIRST DEALERSHIP ONLY ONE WHO CAN GET PAID FOR IT.
DRIVING HOME ON FREEWAY AND APPLIED BRAKES WHILE EXITING OFF RAMP. HEARD GRINDING. LOCATED THE LEFT REAR PASSENGER ROTOR AND PAD TORN UP. ALL OTHER PADS WITHIN SPECIFICATION AND NO OTHER ROTORS DAMAGED OR LEAKING. NO WARNING PRIOR. VEHICLE HAD 34500 MILES AT THE TIME OF INCIDENT.
TAILGATE FAILURE; UNABLE TO OPEN TAILGATE OR TAILGATE WILL OPEN BY ITSELF. HAD TO REPLACE THE TAILGATE CONTROL MODULE. THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL. THE PART HAS BEEN MODIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURER SO THEY THERE IS A FLAW IN THEIR PREVIOUS MODULE.
BETWEEN 3RD AND 4TH GEAR. ON EVERY DRIVING OCCASION, THE TRUCK "CLUNKS" AND JERKS DURING THOSE GEARS. NEARLY EVERY MORNING WHEN PULLING OUT OF THE DRIVE WAY ON MY WAY TO WORK, THE TRUCK MISSES 4TH GEAR AND LOSSES POWER. ON A MANY DRIVES, I WILL PULL THROUGH AN INTERSECTION FROM A STOP AND WILL LOSE POWER AT 4TH GEAR. IT CAS CAUSED MANY NEAR WRECKS IN THE CITY WHEN PULLING OUT ONTO HIGHER SPEED ROADS WITH THE NEED TO ACCELERATE. MY WIFE REFUSES TO RIDE IN THE TRUCK ESPECIALLY WITH THE KIDS. SHE SAYS THAT IT IS A TICKING TIME BOMB AND THAT WE ARE JUST COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS WHEN IT FAILS AND WE DIE IN A COLLISION. SHE SAID THAT I NEED TO SELL IT AND BUY A TUNDRA OR GO BACK TO RAM REBEL. THIS MISSING GEARS AND EXTREMELY ROUGH SHIFTING HAPPENS IN ANY SCENARIO; HIGHWAY-CITY ACCELERATING-DECELERATING, WARMED UP OR COLD START. I'M I CANT EVEN TOW THE BOAT BECAUSE WE HAVE TO LEAVE THE HOUSE OVER A HILL. WE ALREADY HAD A SCARE DURING TOWING BECAUSE WE LOST ALMOST ALL POWER AND STARTED ROLLING BACKWARDS. I HAD TO ACCELERATE A LOT FASTER TO TRY TO CATCH IT AND THE JERK OF IT FINDING THE GEAR CAUSED A WHIPLASH OF THE ENTIRE FAMILY. *TR

The contact stated that while driving at undisclosed speeds intermittently, the infotainment screen went black. The vehicle was taken to a dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine warning light illuminated, and the vehicle shook abnormally and then stalled. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and diagnosed with a failed camshaft. The contact was informed that the camshaft needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred. The contact stated that the vehicle had been serviced by the dealer five times within four years for the same failure and the dealer had replaced several parts of the engine and the failure continued to reoccur. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to report the failure to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 5,245.
I have been having issues with my trucks transmission, it is the Ford 10R80 ten speed transmission, It has been slamming into 6th gear so hard that it feels like I'm getting rear ended, I don't even have 50,000 miles on the tuck yet and it's been doing it since it had 29,000 miles on it. My transmission has been to multiple dealerships on six accounts as of today (1-13-22) with an appointment for a seventh time on (1-24-22). The dealerships have acknowledged the problem, and reprogrammed the computer according to their TSB but that did not fix the issue and the TCM computer had been replaced as well. I was told that since the transmission is not giving a code to their scanners, they can not fix the problem. It is potentially a safety hazard because if the transmission finally failes while driving on the main roads or highway, myself and anyone around could be severely injured or killed when the truck loses all power from the trans and stops. This issue has been happening since I purchased the used truck on 6-13-2020 and has never flashed a check engine light or warning. I have seen over many social media outlets that I am not the only one having this issue with the 10R80 transmission, and that there is even a class action lawsuit on that model transmission as well.
DRIVING THE F150 I NOTICED A POPPING NOISE WHEN TURNING. SHORTLY AFTER THE POPPING NOISE WHEN NEGOTIATING A TURN THE RACK AND PINION LOCKED UP. TRUCK WENT INTO ON COMING TRAFFIC. NOW THE POWER STEERING COMPLETELY FAILED AND A TROUBLE CODE WAS DISPLAYED. RACK AND PINION IS BAD AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. RACK AND PINION ON NATIONAL BACK ORDER THROUGH FORD MOTOR COMPANY. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer who could not identify the failure's cause. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred them to NHTSA. The approximate failure mileage was 49,000.

MY 2018 FORD F150 HAS AN ISSUE WITH THE ENGINE CAM PHASER MAKING A KNOCKING NOISE DURING STARTUP. I HAD THEM REPLACED BY MY DEALER. I HAVE HAD MY TRUCK BACK TO THE DEALER 4 TIMES DO TO OIL LEAKS AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS COMING ON. ALSO I AM HAVING WHAT LOOKS LIKE MY ENGINE OIL MIXING WITH MY COOLANT AND ALSO THE COOLANT MIXING IN MAY OIL. THE DEALER TELLS ME THIS IS NORMAL. I TRIED TO TAKE MY VEHICLE TO THREE DIFFERENT DEALERS AND THEY ALL REFUSED TO WORK ON MY TRUCK THEY SAID TAKE IT BACK TO THE DEALER THAT DID THE ORIGINAL REPAIRS. I CALLED THE DEALER THAT DID THE ORIGINAL REPAIRS AND THEY TOLD ME THEY REFUSED TO WORK ON MY TRUCK SINCE I HAD MY LLAWYER CONTACT FORDS CUSTOMER RELATIONS I HAVE REPAIR ORDERS BUT THE FILE WAS TO LARGE TO ATTACH

This vehicle won't track in a lane. it has to to be constantly held from changing lanes. At any given time it will want to turn to the right or go to the right and in 50 feet feet, it will want to do the same thing to the left. It never wants to go straight. The vehicle is a lot better since we placed it in Grapevine Ford for two weeks to repair the issues. They improved it greatly, but it's not fixed.

ON TWO OCCASIONS I HAVE BEEN STOPPED AND WAITING TO TURN LEFT ACROSS TWO LANES OF TRAFFIC ON A FOUR LANE STATE HIGHWAY. THE ENGINE AUTO STOP FEATURE SHUT THE ENGINE OFF. WHEN I LET OF THE BRAKE, THE ENGINE AUTO STARTED AND I BEGAN TO ACCELERATE. I HAD NO POWER STEERING AND NEARLY DROVE INTO A DITCH. IT SEEMS THAT THERE IS A DELAY BETWEEN WHEN THE ENGINE AUTO STARTS AND WHEN THE POWER STEERING WORKS. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AS IT IS DIFFICULT TO TURN THE WHEEL WITHOUT POWER STEERING. Whenever I try to tow a trailer, even empty, if I plug in the trailer tail lights the transmission over-heats and the transmission shifting goes wacky. It just randomly shifts gears up and down between 1st to 10th. they have rebuilt the transmission 3 times and replaced it once, but it still didn't resolve the issue.
Transmission delays switching into next gear; slips in and out of gear; slips into neutral while driving; fails to accelerate and then jerks into higher gear. All these things happen almost daily. This has been happening since I bought the truck in 2020. I took it to a transmission service provider. They noticed the delays switching into gear but no codes were displayed to help them know what to fix. No warnings were displayed. It started happening soon after I bought the truck. Now it happens almost daily. It's scary. I feel I'm not in control of the vehicle. I've read online that there is a class action lawsuit filed. I am unsure of what actions I should take.

GEAR SHIFTER WAS PLACED IN DRIVE AND VEHICLE MOVED FORWARD, GEAR SHIFTER WAS THEN PUT IN PARK. ENGINE WHIRRED AND AND VEHICLE SURGED FORWARD. VEHICLE WAS STOPPED BY BRAKES. GEAR SHIFTER WAS PUT IN REVERSE. VEHICLE DROVE BACKWARDS, GEAR SHIFTER WAS PLACED IN PARK. VEHICLE ENGINE ACCELERATED AND TRUCK STARTED TO JUMP AND ACCELERATE BACKWARDS AS THE DRIVER TRIED TO EXIT AND HIT PARKED VEHICLE BEHIND TRUCK. ONLY WAY TO STOP THE VIEHICLE WAS TO TURN ENGINE OFF AS IT WOULD NOT SHIFT INTO PARK EVEN THOUGH GEARSHIFTER WAS IN PARK POSITION THE SUDDEN ACCELERATION WAS NOT A PEDAL CONFUSION. BRAKE SKID MARKS WERE EVIDENT ON THE CONCRETE IN THE DRIVEWAY.
MY FORD F150 BEGAN TO HAVE TWO DISTINCT RATTLES AT ABOUT 1 YEAR OLD AND 15,000 MILES. ONE RATTLE HAPPENS WHEN MY FOOT COMES OFF THE GAS AND SOUNDS LIKE A FLUTTER LIKE SOMETHING IS LOOSE. THE OTHER RATTLE HAPPENS AT 1500 RPM AND SOUNDS LIKE A METAL ON METAL OR A CHAIN RATTLE. THIS HAPPENS ON PUBLIC PAVED STREETS. THE FORD DEALERSHIP VERIFIED MY CONCERN WITH BOTH NOISES AND WORKED WITH FORD WITH MORE THAN 10 ATTEMPTED REPAIRS. I HAVE THE LIST OF ATTEMPTED REPAIRS THAT I CAN SHARE BUT THEY INCLUDE CHAIN TENSIONERS REPLACEMENT, EXHAUST INSPECTION, REPROGRAM, PHASERS REPLACEMENT, TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT, AND VCT SOLENOIDS REPLACEMENT. NEITHER THE DEALERSHIP NOR FORD KNOWS WHAT IS WRONG BUT CLAIMS IT IS A "COMMON CHARACTERISTIC" AFTER OVER 35 TOTAL DAYS OF ATTEMPTING TO BE REPAIRED OVER SEVERAL MONTHS. I AM NOT THE ONLY F150 OWNER WITH THIS PROBLEM. WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE TRUCK, I DO NOT KNOW IT IS SAFE TO DRIVE. I CONTACTED BBB WHO VERIFIED THAT I AM NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE LEMON LAW AND ADVISED ME TO CONTACT YOUR ORGANIZATION TO ADDRESS MY SAFETY CONCERN. I DID NOT GET ANYTHING IN WRITING THAT SAYS THE TRUCK IS SAFE TO DRIVE AND THAT WORRIES ME.
