ALL 4 DOORS HAVE MALFUNCTIONED. THEY DO NOT LATCH, OR STAY CLOSED. THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE IN MOTION AND STATIONARY. TURNING, THE DOOR HAS OPENED AND THE BACK DOORS HAVE FROZEN AND NOT LATCHED. I HAVE VIDEO BUT THEY ARE TOO LARGE TO ATTACH. THIS TRUCK HAS BEEN AT THE DEALERSHIP 5 TIMES FOR THE SAME REPAIR, AND TO DATE THEY'VE HAD IT FOR 23 DAY. THE DRIVER SIDE FRONT DOOR WILL NOT STAY LATCHED/ CLOSED.
TAIL LIGHT ASSEMBLY LEAKS WATER CAUSING THE BULB TO BLOW. IT ACCURED TWICE IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS.
HAVE NOISE WHEN OPORATING THE VEHICLE.
DYNAMIC CRUISE CONTROL WILL RANDOMLY STOP WORKING ALL TOGETHER OR JUST STOP SEEING THE VEHICLE IN FRONT AND START TO SPEED UP. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER MULTIPLE TIMES AND EVERY TIME THEY SAY CAN'T REPRODUCE THE ISSUE. SEE ATTACHED ALERT TO MY MOBILE APP SHOWING THE MALFUNCTION.
Transmission. It slips and jumps gears, lags, doesn't engage from a stop for a few seconds, downshifts itself while driving down the highway, at parking lot speeds the engine will rev up and lurch forward. It has been inspected by a local dealership and confirmed that there is an internal problem and recommended new transmission for $7500. They have been in contact with Ford Co, as have I, making a formal complaint which Ford is not owning the problem completely. The truck has 53,000 miles on it with perfect maintenance records. Safety issue is that the truck downshifts at highway speed. Rev's and jumps in parking lots which could cause an accident or worse...strike a pedestrian. The truck lags from a stop which could be dangerous when pulling into traffic. This is a documented issue with Ford vehicles, mostly in the 3.5 eco-boost 10 speed trucks but I believe in possibly some of their others. From day 1 of ownership I noticed something odd which I made it known to the dealership when it went in for service on several occasions. The dealer could never duplicate the issue. In November 2023 the issue got very bad with all that was mentioned in the opening sentence. The dealership had confirmed that there are issues with this truck/transmission and they have a service bulletin on the issues. There are multiple Ford forums online with people who all have the same issue with this truck/transmission. There haven't been any warning lamps to indicate but as mentioned this has been a problem since the purchase and now although it's marginally drivable, the issue has become significant and dangerous. The date below was from the time I have an email documenting the issue to the dealership. As mentioned, it was an ongoing issue to lesser degree but the larger failure started in Mid November 2023. That puts me about 4-5 months outside of my 5 year warranty but inside my 60K. Regarding Documentation below: Anything of value has been on the phone.
DOOR LATCHES FREEZE PROHIBITING ENTRY TO THE VEHICLE AND/OR PROHIBITING THE DOORS TO LATCH AND STAY CLOSED. PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS WHEN DRIVING AND YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE DOOR(S) CLOSED OR IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE DOOR IS FROZEN AND YOU'RE SURPRISED WHEN THE DOOR SWINGS OPEN IN TRAFFIC. FORD HAS PERFORMED TSB SERVICE SEVERAL TIMES AND IS NOW STATING THERE IS NOTHING MORE THEY CAN DO.
TRUCK HAS 24,000 MILES GOING DOWN THE INTERSTATE TRUCK WILL JERK RIGHT OR LEFT AND STEERING GETS HARD HAVE TO KEEP VERY ALERT WHILE DRIVING NOT KNOW WHEN IT WILL JERK RIGHT OR LEFT VERY DNGEROUS
ON 01/09/2020 I PARKED MY 2018 FORD F 150 IN A PARKING LOT WHEN WE CAME BACK WE HEARD A LOUD POP AND WITHOUT ANY INFLUENCE FROM OUTSIDE OR INSIDE THE BACK WINDOW WITH THE SLIDER INSIDE SHATTERED. WE DROVE TO OUR FORD DEALER AND HE TOLD AS THAT THE GLASS BROKE WITHOUT ANY IMPACT FROM OUTSIDE AND HE IS HAPPY THAT THIS HAS NOT HAVE HAPPENED DURING DRIVING BECAUSE IT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SITUATION. WE CONTACTED FORD DIRECTLY WHO DENIED ANY RESPONSIBILITY EVEN IF THEIR ARE MULTIPLE CLAIMS REPORTED FROM OTHER FORD F 150 DRIVERS WITH THE SAME MODEL. THE DEFROSTER FOR THE WINDOW WAS USED THIS MORNING BECAUSE IT WAS FREEZING AND THE WINDOW INDICATED THAT IT BROKE BECAUSE OF TO MUCH HEAT AND STRESS IN THE GLASS WHAT IS IN MY OPINION A MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND SHOULD BE UNDER WARRANTY. I ALSO BELIEVE THAT FORD SHOULD RECALL THIS CARS BECAUSE THEY ARE A DANGER TO THEIR DRIVER AND OTHERS ON THE ROAD.
THE STEERING WHEEL IS COMING LOOSE.
I PERFORMED A WHEEL ALIGNMENT BUT THE CAR IS STILL GOING TO ONE SIDE IF I LET GO OF THE STEERING THIS VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT I DONT FEEL SAFE BECAUSE I CANT KEEP THE CAR IN A STRAIGHT LINE
I BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM THE DEALER KNOWING IT WAS INVOLVED IN A CAR CRASHED BUT STILL IS A CLEAN TITLE I HOPED THE BODY DAMAGE WAS REPAIRED TODAY I FOUND OUT THERE'S BODY OR FRAME DAMAGE BEHING THE DOOR WHEN I OPEN OR CLOSE IT IT MAKES A NOISE LIKE AN OLD RUSTY CAR,IT WAS STATIONARY WHEN I OPENED IT AND SAW THE DAMAGE
FORD F-150 2018 SUPER CREW CAB 1ST WATER LEAK INSIDE OF OUR TRUCK CAB CREATED A MILDEW SMELL DUE TO WET CARPET PADDING AND CARPETS. WATER SATURATED ELECTRICAL WIRING UNDER THE DOOR SEAL PROTECTORS ON THE RIGHT-SIDE OF THE FRONT AND REAR DOORS. FIRST NOTICED A PROBLEM DRIVING AND APPLYING THE BRAKES WE HEARD A WATER SLOSHING SOUND ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TRUCK. INDICATIONS OF WATER IN CAB AND SATURATED CARPET'S AND WIRING WENT UNNOTICED DUE TO WEATHER TECH FULL FLOOR MATS. WE CONTACTED FORD CORPORATION ONLINE AND THEY ADVISED FOR US TO TAKE IT INTO OUR DEALERSHIP TO BE ASSESSED. OUR DEALERSHIP MADE AN APPOINTMENT A WEEK OUT, SO OUR TRUCK SAT IN OUR GARAGE FOR AN ADDITIONAL WEEK. WE USED A SHOP VAC AND SUCKED OUT AS MUCH WATER AS WE COULD AND LEFT THE DOOR WINDOWS DOWN TO HELP DRY OUT THE INTERIOR. THE DEALERSHIP REMOVED AND REINSTALLED THE TRIM PANELS WITH SILICONE SEALANT ON BOTH DOORS ON THE RIGHT SIDE.
REAR TAILGATE WILL COME OPEN BY ITS SELF WHILE DRIVING
The cam phasers in the engine have a failure/malfunction and risk of engine damage and performance. No warning lamps are on for the this failure yet, only a very noticeable noise on startups. It has been to a dealership to be confirmed. This is the same known issue as the other 3.5 ecoboost F-150 engines in the 2017 -2018 years, I am not sure what made my VIN not fit the requirements. Bulletins 21B10,21N03,21N08 I believe are all related.
TRANSMISSION SHIFTS ARE DELAYED AND SOMETIMES HARSH. WHEN MAKING TURNS FROM A DEAD STOP ON PAVED STREET, THE TRANSMISSION SHUTTERS OR BUCKS (EXCESSIVE PLAY IN THE DRIVE SYSTEM, A GUMMED UP VALVE BODY, OLD TRANS FLUID OR STICKING VALVE BODY PISTONS?)
DOOR LATCH FREEZES IN COLD WEATHER, AND SO DOOR WILL NO LATCH CLOSED. YOU HAVE TO DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD HOLDING THE DOOR CLOSED OR USE BUNGEE CORDS TO HOLD THE DOOR CLOSED.
THE AUTOMATIC START/STOP FUNCTION TURNS THE TRUCK "OFF" AT A STOP. WHEN WAITING TO MAKE A LEFT TURN ACROSS TRAFFIC AND THE ENGINE HAS TURNED OFF AND THE WHEEL IS ENGAGED IN A TURNING ANGLE, THE POWER STEERING DOES NOT TURN BACK ON AS THE ENGINE TURNS BACK ON. THE RESULT IS A LOSS OF POWER STEERING THROUGH THE TURN PUTTING ME IN MULTIPLE SITUATIONS WHERE I HAVE NO POWER STEERING INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC UNTIL IT FINALLY ENGAGES APPROXIMATELY 2 SECONDS LATER. IN MULTIPLE SITUATIONS I HAVE HAD TO USE ALL OF MY STRENGTH TO TURN THE WHEEL AND THE VEHICLE WITHOUT POWER STEERING, OUT OF THE WAY OF TRAFFIC AS I AM MAKING A TURN.
THE LEFT REAR DOOR DOES NOT ALWAYS LATCH PROPERLY AND SOMETIMES WILL NOT UNLOCK. OCCASIONALLY THE REAR DOOR MUST BE SECURED BY TYING IT TO SOMETHING FROM THE INSIDE SO THAT IT DOES NOT FLY OPEN. IT HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER TWICE, TO HAVE THE MECHANISM REPLACED AND TO HAVE FORD'S DOOR SEALING RECALL COMPLETED. THE OTHER 3 DOORS WORK FINE.
AFTER STOPPING IN TRAFFIC AND WAITING TO TURN LEFT IN FRONT OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC, THE TRUCK WOULD NOT STEER AS I ACCELERATED FROM A STOP. THIS CAUSED ME TO DRIVE STRAIGHT ACROSS THE INTERSECTION INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC RATHER THAN MAKING MY PLANNED, IMMEDIATE LEFT TURN. AS THE TRUCK DROVE STRAIGHT RATHER THAN TURNING, AND AS I WAS ATTEMPTING TO FORCE THE WHEEL LEFT WITH BOTH HANDS, SUDDENLY THE STEERING FUNCTION RETURNED TO NORMAL. I NARROWLY AVOIDED AN ACCIDENT DUE TO THE UNEXPECTED LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL. I IMMEDIATELY STOPPED THE TRUCK AND CONTACTED THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT THE NEAREST FORD DEALERSHIP. A SERVICE APPOINTMENT WAS NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL THE FOLLOWING WEEK SO I DROVE THE TRUCK HOME. THE NEXT DAY (SATURDAY) A SERVICE ADVISER FROM THE FORD DEALER CALLED AND ASKED ME TO DROP THE TRUCK OFF THE FOLLOWING MONDAY AFTERNOON. I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM SINCE THE INITIAL INCIDENT. IN MY OPINION THE ISSUE MAY BE RELATED TO THE IMPROPER FUNCTION OF THE POWER STEERING AFTER THE STOP /START FUNCTION OF THE TRUCK IS ACTIVATED. THERE IS A MEASURABLE LAG BETWEEN THE ENGINE'S RE-START AND THE REACTIVATION OF THE POWER STEERING. THE TRUCK IS ALLOWED TO TRAVEL BEFORE THE POWER STEERING IS FUNCTIONING NORMALLY. I FEEL THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR DID NOT LATCH. THE CONTACT HAD TO HOLD THE DOOR CLOSED UNTIL HE ARRIVED HOME. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO HEMPSTEAD FORD LINCOLN (301 N FRANKLIN ST, HEMPSTEAD, NY 11550). THE PARTS WERE ORDERED AND THE VEHICLE WAS PLANNING TO BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,908.
DRIVERS DOOR OPENED BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY. TRIED TO SHUT IT AND IT WOULD NOT SHUT. IT APPEARS THE TRUCK HAS THE FREEZE DOOR LATCH ISSUE THAT FORD HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS. THE NHTSA SHOULD DEMAND A RECALL AND MAKE FORD FIX THE VEHICLES CORRECTLY. SO MANY PEOPLE ARE GETTING THE SERVICE PERFORMED AND IT IS NOT FIXING THE PROBLEM. IT IS DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE WHEN YOU DOOR CAN FLY OPEN AT ANYTIME.
MY F150 HAS A DEFECTIVE DOOR LATCH/DOOR. IN THE COLD IT FREEZES, YOU CANT OPEN THE DOOR OR THE DOOR WON'T CLOSE/LOCK, IT BASICALLY SWINGS OPEN. I HAVE LOOKED ON THE FORUMS WHICH I HAVE FOUND THAT THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS. FORD REPLACES THE PARTS WITH THE SAME PARTS WHICH IN SOME CASES DOESNT FIX THE ISSUE. THIS IS VERY SCARY IF YOU SOMEONE CLOSES THE DOOR THINKING IT LOCKED AND IT SWINGS OPEN WHILE YOUR DRIVING. ALSO SOMEONE CAN BE TRAPPED IN THE CAR BECAUSE THE DOOR IS FROZEN SHUT. LUCKLY I WAS HOME IN MY DRIVEWAY WHEN THIS ISSUE HAPPENED. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS AS SOMEONE CAN GET HURT.
WHEN BELOW FREEZING THE DOOR WILL NOT LATCH AFTER OPEN. VEHICLE OPERATOR NEEDS TO PHYSICALLY HOLD THE DOOR CLOSED BECAUSE DOOR WILL NOT LATCH.
MY 2018 F150 IN THE MORNINGS WON'T SHIFT RIGHT IF YOU STEP ON GAS PEDAL NOTHING HAPPENS FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THEN IT LURCHES FORWARD AND BANGS IT WILL DO THE SAME THING AT NIGHT WHEN I BACK OUT OF PARKING SPOT IN REVERSE.TO GO HOME FROM WORK. SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT IN TRANSMISSION THE TRUCK ONLY HAS 10,000 MILES ON IT.THIS IS MY 6TH FORD TRUCK NOTHING LIKE THIS HAS EVER HAPPENED BEFORE. I'M SURE THIS IS NOT NORMAL OR GOING TO FIX IT SELF.
TRANSMISSION SHIFTS VERY BAD, COLD. HESITATES, AND SHIFTS LATE.WARM, IT WILL NOT SHIFT WHEN THROTTLE IS PUSHED AFTER RELEASING THROTTLE IMMEDIATELY BEFORE REACCELERATING. LEFT FRONT DOOR FREEZES BAD IN COLD WEATHER, TWICE IN TWO DAYS NOW, TAKES 15-20 MINUTES BEFORE IT WILL STAY LATCHED. NO OTHER DOORS ARE AFFECTED. SERIOUS PROBLEM BECAUSE THE DOOR MAY OPEN WHILE DRIVING.RECALLS ON THIS PROBLEM ON OTHER YEARS. VERY DANGEROUS.
I PURCHASED THE USED 2018 FORD F150 PLATINUM AT LITHIA FORD, BOISE ID WITH 15K MILES ON IT. SINCE THE DAY I BOUGHT IT THE FRONT END HAS BEEN HARD TO KEEP ON THE ROAD. I HAVE TAKEN THIS UNIT TO THE DEALER TWICE NOW AND THEY HAVE HAD THE UNIT 40 PLUS DAYS TRYING TO REPAIR THE STEERING ISSUE. THE TRUCK WILL PULL INTO A RIGHT OR LEFT BY ITSELF AND IS VERY UNSAFE AT THE DEALERSHIP THEY VERIFIED THE COMPLAINT AND SAID THE STEERING GEAR WAS THE DEFECT AFTER HAVING THE UNIT 2 WEEKS. THEY REPLACED THE STRG GEAR AND SAID IT WAS REPAIRED. I PICKED THE UNIT UP AND DROVE IT AND IT WAS THE SAME SO I TOOK IT BACK THE NEXT DAY. THEY DROVE IT WITH ME AND AGAIN WE VERIFIED THE COMPLAINT. THE FORD TECHNICAL REP CAME OUT TO THE DEALER AND CHECKED THE TRUCK. HE ALSO VERIFIED THE COMPLAINT THE THEN SAID IT WAS THE TIRES AND WHEELS AND THEY ALL DRIVE LIKE THAT SINCE ITS A PLATINUM MODEL. HE STATED I DRIVE ONE AND IT DOES THE SAME THING. THE TIRES AND WHEELS ARE THE FACTORY OEM PARTS NOTHING HAS BEEN CHANGED OR MODIFIED. THE TRUCK IS UNSAFE AND NOT STABLE. THE SERVICE WRITER DROVE IT FOR A WEEK AND HE CONFIRMED THE DEFECT BUT SAID FORD WILL NOT MAKE ANY MORE REPAIRS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO REPAIR THE ISSUE AND SAID WE WILL CALL YOU IF THEY COME UP WITH SOMETHING. I AM FILING THIS COMPLAINT DUE TO THE SAFETY CONCERN OF MYSELF AND OTHER PEOPLE ON THE ROADWAYS. ITS DANGEROUS. I HAD ANOTHER 2018 F150 SPORT WITHOUT LANE ASSIST AND IT DROVE FINE. BOTH UNITS WERE PURCHASED FROM THE SAME DEALERSHIP.
2018 FORD F150 RAPTOR, ORDERED AND RECEIVED APRIL 1 2018. ONLY 7000 MILES. HAS BEEN INTO FORD DEALER TWICE FOR SLIPPING TRANSMISSION ISSUES, LOUD BANGING NOISE AND TRANSMISSION RATTLING AND SLIPPING. HAVE PULL OUT INTO TRAFFIC SEVERAL TIMES AND THE TRANSMISSION SLIPS AND VEHICLE JUST REVS UP. ALSO CAUSED SEVERAL ACCIDENTS. IN MOTION ON A HIGHWAY AND ALSO CITY STREET
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ALL FOUR DOOR LATCHES CEASED, CAUSING A FAILURE TO LATCH THE DOORS SECURELY. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE DOORS WOULD OPEN INADVERTENTLY WHILE DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO VERNER-CADBY FORD INC (1240 BLOOMFIELD AVE, FAIRFIELD, NJ 07004) WHERE A PLASTIC GASKET WAS INSERTED IN ALL FOUR DOORS TO FIX THE ISSUE HOWEVER, THE REPAIRS FAILED TO FIX THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT CALLED THE SAME DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NO FIX TO THE PROBLEM THE VEHICLE WAS EXPERIENCING. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE SAME DEALER FOUR TIMES FOR THE SAME FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 27,000.
I HAVE NOTICED MY TAILGATE RANDOMLY DOWN BUT NEVER THOUGHT MUCH ABOUT IT. WEDNESDAY THE 11TH OF DECEMBER 2019 I WAS TOWING A CAR HAULER TRAILER. I DROVE TO MY LOCATION AND MADE A TURN AND HEARD A CRUNCHING NOISE. IT TURNS OUT THE TAILGATE WAS DOWN AND IN A TURN IT GOT CRUNCHED BY THE TRAILER JACK. I TOOK IT TO MY FORD DEALER TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT. IT IS SCHEDULED FOR DEC 26TH. TAILGATE WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED. TAILGATE WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED.

HARD "CLUNK/THUMP" SENSATION AT LOW SPEEDS, CAUSING SEVERE "WHIP-LASH" ACTION TO OCCUPANTS OF VEHICLE. 4.)WHEN TAKING SLOW LEFT TURN UP A STEEP INCLINE THE TRUCK LUGS AND TRANSMISSION FEEL LIKE IT IS SLIPPING AND UNABLE TO DOWNSHIFT, CAUSING A SIGNIFICANT LOSS OF POWER AND MOMENTUM. 5.) ENGINE STALLS WHEN LEAVING STOP LIGHT. DASH LIGHTS COME ON SAYING" AUTO STARTSTOP SHIFT TO P, THEN RESTART ENGINE."THIS IS IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY INTERSECTION. I AM ATTACHING A PICTURE OF THE DASHBOARD ERROR. PLEASE NOTICE I AM STILL IN "D" DRIVE WHEN THIS MESSAGE CAME UP.
WHEN STARTING MY F-150 THERE'S WAS A LOUD POP I SUDDENLY TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE THEN TURNED IT ON AGAIN BUT IT DID NOT MAKE ANY ODD NOISES. WHEN PULLING OUT OF THE PARKING LOT ACCELERATION WAS ACTING UP O HEARD ANOTHER POP AND MY VEHICLE SUDDENLY WENT INTO LIMP MODE SLOWING MY VEHICLE WAY DOWN CAUSING ME TO NEARLY GET REAR ENDED. FROM THERE I MANAGED TO COAST INTO A PARKING LOT AND CALLED A TOW TRUCK. WHEN THE TOW TRUCK DROPPED OFF THE VEHICLE THE GUY AT THE DEALERSHIP SAID THAT I WAS ACTING FINE BUT THEY WOULD KEEP IT A COUPLE DAYS BUT SINCE IT ISN'T ACTING UP THERE WASN'T MUCH THEY COULD DO. THE TRUCK IS A YEAR OLD AND ONLY HAS 5.300 MILES.
F150 XLT 4X4 3.5L V6 10 SPEED AUTO 56,000 MI. WHEN STARTING TO DRIVE COLD, MODERATE ACCELERATION WILL CAUSE HESITATION AND MISSED SHIFTING FROM 3RD TO 4TH GEAR. IT'S LIKE THE CLUTCH IS FAILING OR SOMETHING? SHIFTING GEARS EXTREMELY ROUGH TO THE POINT WHERE YOU'RE JERKED AROUND. SOMETIMES, TO GET INTO GEAR, I HAVE TO TURN THE TRUCK OFF AND RE-START. As you prepare to stop or tap the brakes, the transmission shifts into a different gear, such as the "tow mode" or the "sport mode" independently. This would down shift, throwing occupants forward. I'VE NEVER HEARD OF A VEHICLE DOING THIS BEFORE. THERE IS A RATTLING SOUND ON DECELERATION, LOUDEST WHEN THE ENGINE IS COLD AND LESSONS OR MAYBE EVEN GOES AWAY AFTER WARMED UP. THE ENGINE WAS REPLACED EARLIER THIS YEAR BECAUSE OF AN OIL CONSUMPTION ISSUE. THE TRUCK HAS MEMORY POWER DRIVER'S SEAT AND POWER MIRRORS THAT SHOULD GO INTO PLACE DEPENDING ON THE KEY FOB THAT IT DETECTS. RANDOMLY BOTH SIDE MIRRORS WILL START MOVING AND POPPING BEFORE GOING BACK INTO POSITION. THIS ALWAYS OCCURS BEFORE THE VEHICLE IS STARTED. I'VE NOTICED THAT IT IS USUALLY WHEN IT DETECTS THE KEY FOB OR WHEN I USE THE FOB FOR SOME FUNCTION. THE SEAT RANDOMLY DOESN'T GO INTO THE MEMORY POSITION AT STARTUP.
