Drivers seat moved back while driving and now won't move forward I am only 4ft 8 inch tall and driving my car is very difficult I have seen a lot of other people complaining of the same thing and something needs to be done
Took car to dealer because the dash light came on what looked like airbag needed replacement.? I had had that done so they checked and told me it was a weight bar in passenger seat that was lighting up. Does that not protect person from collision and trigger airbag if u have accident.?? Would that not be a necessary fix even if cars out of warranty? They could not answer that and said I would have to pay over 750.00 to correct.. I walked out. What’s the real truth here. This car is a 2007!! Who would pay that amount..
Driver's side front seat will stop moving forward and back it has been tested said all was good it moved back on it own while driving now I am 4 ft 8 inches tall not good I was stopped at a red light
MY AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON 2 DAYS AFTER DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG WAS REPLACED. DEALER WANTED $129.50 TO TELL ME THE REASON. AFTER CHECKING I WAS TOLD IT IS SOMEWHERE IN THE WIRING IN THE PASSENGER SEAT AND IT WILL COST ME $500. TO REMOVE THE SEAT AND THE SEAT COVERS AND AN ESTIMATED $500 TO FIX THE WIRING PROBLEM. I AM [XXX] AND THAT IS A LOT OF MONEY FOR ME TO PAY. WHY IS A PROBLEM LIKE THAT MY PROBLEM AND NOT FORD MOTOR??? I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY SEVERAL PEOPLE THAT FORD HAD A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH MY MODEL 2007 FORD FUSION. AGAIN WHY IS A SAFETY PROBLEM MINE AND NOT FORD MOTOR??.[XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

After getting the Ford Airbag recall work fixed on my teenage son's vehicle, the airbag dashboard light came on (a few weeks later). Upon taking it to the dealer, they told me the car needed a new battery. I agreed to have it replaced, despite NOT having any previous battery issues. After the battery was replaced, the airbag light was still coming on. After a diagnostic, it was discovered the passenger side sensor needs repaired (over $1,000 cost to complete this work). This is absolutely ridiculous, had NO PROBLEMS until Ford replaced my airbags. I was further told not replacing this sensor means NO AIRBAGS will deploy if in an accident. Now the SAFETY of my son is in YOUR HANDS FORD!!! If nothing is wrong with the airbags themselves, just a faulty passenger sensor....the driver airbag should still work!! THIS IS UNBELIEVALBE!! All this after waiting for over THREE HOURS at the dealer!!!

In January of 2020 and again in October of 2020, I received recall notices regarding the recall of the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) per the 19S54 / 19V-904 recall notice. Once the part was available, I scheduled the work and brought my Fusion to DCH Ford of Eatontown 764. The dealership looked at the HCU and said it was not affected and not in need of replacement. Days later, I tried to drive my car and had no braking capability, save the emergency hand brake. The Fusion was towed to the dealer and it was determined that the HCU failed. It was months before an HCU was available, so the car sat with the dealer until August 2021. I have the repair records showing the part that was replaced is the 2C215 HCU Module, the exact part that is outlined in the recall notice. Ford will not consider the repair under the recall because the recall closed when the vehicle was inspected in April. Despite many emails and telephone calls, Ford is now not responding to any contact and will not consider the repair bill under the recall notification.
KAYSER FORD IN MADISON, WI WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE REPLACED DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG. I HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT THEIR PROPERLY REPLACING, PER THE SAFETY RECALL, AS TIM DOUGLAS BOASTED THAT "THEY HAVE OVER 47 AIRBAGS" IN BACK AND THIS IS NOT HOW THE RECALL SHOULD WORK. THE PART NEEDS TO BE ORDERED PER THE VIN AND RECEIVED AND PUT IN, NOT SOME RANDOM SPARE EXTRA PARTS IN BACK, PUT IN THE VEHICLE, WITHOUT KNOWING HOW LONG THEY HAVE BEEN SITTING THERE. FURTHER, THIS FORD REPLACED THE PASSENGER AIRBAG, AND PULLED ON THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE AIRBAG COMPARTMENT, CAUSING A BADLY TENTED EDGE, THAT COULD OBSTRUCT THE PASSENGER AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT OR TEAR THE BAG IF IT IS DEPLOYED, AND AFFECT THE ANGLE AND TRAJECTORY OF THE DEPLOYMENT. THIS FORD DENIED ANY RESPONSIBILITY. WHEN WE HAD IT TOWED FOR OTHER REPAIRS INCLUDING THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG, THEY NOT ONLY DID NOT PERFORM THE NECESSARY REPAIRS, BUT THEY CAUSED HARM TO OUR CAR: DAMAGE TO THE FRONT BUMPER, FAILED TO REFILL FLUIDS CORRECTLY, INCLUDING TRANSMISSION FLUID AND POWER STEERING FLUID AND DID NOT REPLACE THE FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS. THE NEW SERPENTINE BELT IS LOOSE AND MAKES A NOISE. THEY ALSO DROVE OUR CAR OVER 30 MILES, WITHOUT OUR AUTHORIZATION AND THEN LIED ON THE INVOICE CLAIMING THAT OUR CAR CAME IN AND LEFT AT THE SAME MILEAGE. FURTHER, THEY LEFT OUR CAR ON A TOW TRUCK WITH THE J HOOK HANGING FROM THE SUSPENSION AND UNDER TENSION, ALL NIGHT.
FORD ISSUED SAFETY RECALL !! S-A-F-E-T-Y RECALL AND DONT WANT TO PROBIDE A RENTAL IF ITS NOT SAFE WE THE CONSUMERS DONT FEEL SAFE OPERATING OUR VEHICLES!!! FOR GODS SAKE THE CAR IS ALREADY 14 YEARS OLD !!

This vehicle was totaled in May 2020. I had numerous and constant brake issues with this car and had much of the brake system (brake pads, rotors, and calipers I believe) replaced within a year of the accident. The accident occurred when I tried to apply the brakes, causing me to hydroplane into an oncoming car. My concern is that this could be related to the ABS recall (NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID: 19V904000). Although my vehicle does not appear to be affected by the recall, it seems very similar to the brake issues I experienced.
AS I WAS DRIVING, THE VEHICLE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED AND THE BRAKES WENT OUT. *TR
