DASHBOARD ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR HAS BECOME UNGLUED AND IS NOW STICKING UP ABOVE THE AIRBAG PANEL. IT APPEARS THAT THIS COULD BE SAFETY ISSUE IF THE AIRBAG WERE TO DEPLOY. *TR
I AM FROM CALIFORNIA AND WAS DRIVING IN GLENDALE, ARIZONA AT 1:00 A.M. ON 06/30/12. THE SIGNAL I CAME TO WAS FLASHING RED. CROSS TRAFFIC HAD FLASHING YELLOW LIGHT. ASSUMING THE CROSS TRAFFIC ALSO HAD A RED FLASHING LIGHT (AS IN CALIFORNIA) I PROCEEDED THROUGH THE INTERSECTION. I WAS T-BONED BY A LARGE DELIVERY TRUCK. THE SIDE/CURTAIN AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY!! I SUSTAINED NUMEROUS INJURIES FOR WHICH I WAS HOSPITALIZED FOR 9 DAYS. NO ONE WAS IN THE CAR WITH ME, THANK GOD! A FEW DAYS AFTER THE ACCIDENT, I SPOKE WITH THE OFFICER THAT ARRIVED AT THE SCENE. HE TOLD ME THAT WHEN HE SAW THE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE TO MY CAR, HE THOUGHT HE WOULD BE "CALLING THE FATAL TEAM"....UPDATED 08-10-12 *BF FORD MOTOR COMPANY NEEDS TO DO A RECALL ON, NOT ONLY THE FUSION MODELS, BUT ON ALL OF THEIR CARS. I DO NOT TRUST FORD AND WILL NEVER OWN ONE AGAIN. I HAVE CONTACTED FORD REGARDING THIS ISSUE AND ALSO AN ATTORNEY, BUT I HATE TO THINK OF ALL THE OTHER DRIVERS OUT THERE WHO ASSUME THE AIRBAGS WORK IN THEIR CARS WHEN POSSIBLY THEY ARE DEFECTIVE. DRIVER'S SIDE INTERIOR DOOR HANDLE BROKE. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. IF I WERE NEEDING TO EXIT THE VEHICLE IN A HURRY, I COULD NOT. IF I WERE NOT ABLE TO ROLL DOWN THE POWER WINDOW, I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO OPEN THE DOOR FROM THE INSIDE. *TR
I WAS DRIVING USING CRUISE CONTROL TODAY GOING 60 MPH ON A HIGHWAY WITH MY 2007 FORD FUSION. ALL OF A SUDDEN, I FELT THE CAR JOLT. I PRESSED THE GAS, BUT NOTHING HAPPENED AS IF THE CAR WAS IN NEUTRAL. I HAD TO COAST TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. I NOTICED THAT THE WARNING LIGHT IN THE SHAPE OF A WRENCH WAS ON. I TURNED OFF THE CAR. WHEN I TURNED IT BACK ON, THE LIGHT WAS OFF AND THE CAR WORKED JUST FINE. I LOOKED UP THE DESCRIPTION OF THE LIGHT IN THE OWNER'S MANUAL AND IT SAID IT WAS RELATED TO A FAULT IN THE POWERTRAIN OR THROTTLE. I SAW WHERE SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE REPORTED THIS EXACT PROBLEM WITH 2010 MODELS OF THE FUSION. I JUST HAD TO REPORT THAT IT HAPPENED ON MY 2007 MODEL AS WELL. I WILL BE TAKING IT IN TO GET LOOKED AT. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS. I COULD HAVE WRECKED OR CAUSED AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE I COULD NOT CONTROL THE SPEED OF MY CAR AT THE TIME. SOMEONE WILL BE KILLED IF THIS PROBLEM IS NOT RESOLVED AND A RECALL ISSUED. I WAS REALLY SCARED. THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL. THE INTERIOR DRIVERS DOOR HANDLE DOES NOT OPEN THE DOOR. I HAVE TO UNLOCK THE DOOR MANUALLY & REACH TO THE EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLE TO OPEN THE DOOR. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD FUSION. THE WAS CONTACT WAS TRAVELING 15 MPH WHEN THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR FLEW OPEN INDEPENDENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE DEALER CONFIRMED THAT THE DOOR LATCH MECHANISM FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 67,927.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION BEGAN TO SHIFT GEARS VIOLENTLY WITH HESITATION. THE VEHICLE WAS MANEUVERED INTO A PARKING LOT. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN DRIVEN TO THE RESIDENCE CAUTIOUSLY AT THE REDUCED SPEED RATE OF 5 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED. THERE WAS A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN UNDER NHTSA ITEM NUMBER 10023866 (POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE TCM, PCM). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 59,570.... UPDATED 07/19/12 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT GO INTO REVERSE. THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE SHIFTED HARD FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR. ONCE HE REACHED A HIGH SPEED, THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED VERY VIOLENTLY, WHEN IT WAS TRYING TO SHIFT TO THE NEXT GEAR. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THE VALVE TRAIN BODY LOCATED INSIDE OF THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AT A COST OF $ 1,460. UPDATED 01/02/12
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FAILED AND THE VEHICLE WOULD ACCELERATE SLOWLY. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE ENGINE COULD NOT BE TURNED OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED AND THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 75,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
DASH PAD HAS SEPARATED AT EDGE OF PASSENGER AIRBAG. CAR HAS NOT BEEN IN ANY CRASHES OR ANY ABNORMAL ROUGH TREATMENT. DEALER LOOKED AT DASH AND SAID IT WAS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. THIS CAR HAS BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF, 1 OWNER CAR, SCHEDULED SERVICE DONE AT THE DEALERSHIP ONLY. THIS SEEMS TO BE A DEFECT THAT THE DEALER SHOULD FIX. *TR

THE DOOR WAS OPENED BY RELEASING THE WINDOW GLASS TO ACCESS THE EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLE OR ENGAGING THE DOOR LOCK MECHANISM FIRMLY. IN ADDITION, THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE DOOR HANDLE EXHIBITED CRACKS. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 57,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, A LOUD NOISE EMITTED FROM THE ENGINE AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO JERK VIOLENTLY. THE CONTACT MANEUVERED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE MALFUNCTION WAS CONTRIBUTED TO DEFECTIVE ENGINE CYLINDER COILS WHICH WERE IDENTIFIED AS NUMBERS FIVE AND SIX. THE CONTACT PLANNED TO NOTIFY THE MANUFACTURER OF THE PROBLEM. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,582. UPDATED 06/05/12*LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THAT FURTHER INVESTIGATION SHOWED ENGINE FAILURE DUE TO COMPUTER SENDING TOO MUCH FUEL TO THE CYLINDERS. BOTH ENGINE AND COMPUTER WERE REPLACED. THE ORIGINAL DIAGNOSIS OF COIL FAILURE WAS INCORRECT. UPDATED 06/07/12 *JS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AIR WOULD NOT BLOW OUT FROM THE VENTS WHEN THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS ACTIVATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE ENGINE BLOWER PLUG NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 87,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 92,000.

THE CONTACT WAS INJURED AND REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. WHILE DRIVING AROUND 25 TO 30 MPH ON WET ROADS IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC, I WAS BRAKING NORMALLY AND MY RIGHT FRONT TIRE WAS OVER A MAN HOLE COVER. THE ABS ENGAGED AND THE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR. THE BRAKES HAVE NEVER RETURNED TO A NORMAL FEEL. I'VE HAD THE MASTER CYLINDER REPLACED AND BRAKES BLED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS AND WAS FINALLY TOLD THAT THE ABS VALVE MODULE WAS STUCK OPEN. I WAS QUOTED OVER $1,000 BY FORD DEALERSHIP. CAN'T AFFORD IT SO I'VE LEARNED TO LIVE WITH A SPONGY BRAKE PEDAL. I JUST PRAY I DON'T NEED TO STOP SUDDENLY.
WHILE PASSING ANOTHER CAR MY CAR LOST POWER.I PRESSED THE ACCELERATOR TO THE FLOOR AND NOTHING HAPPEN. I WAS ALMOST HIT HEAD ON BY ANOTHER ON COMING CAR. MY CERTIFIED FORD MECHANIC SAID IT MAY BE MY THROTTLE AND I SHOULD REPLACE IT BUT HE COULD NOT GUARANTEE THIS WOULD SOLVE MY PROBLEM. HE SAID I WAS ONE MANY TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH THE 2007 FORD FUSION. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO HESITATE AND STALLED WITHOUT ANY WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE IGNITION COILS MALFUNCTIONED, CAUSING THE PCM TO BURN. AS A RESULT, BOTH THE IGNITION COILS, SPARK PLUGS AND PCM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 58,100.
2007 FORD FUSION. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO PROBLEMS WITH DASHBOARD AND AIRBAG ON PASSENGER SIDE OF VEHICLE. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED A YEAR AGO, THE DASHBOARD AROUND THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG BECAME UNGLUED AND IT IS NOW STICKING UP. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED IT WOULD COST $1100 TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE DASHBOARD. THE CONSUMER WAS CONCERNED THE AIR BAG MAY NOT DEPLOY IF NEEDED. *JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD FUSION. WHEN THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE PEDAL TRAVELED TO THE FLOORBOARD AND THE VEHICLE FAILED TO STOP IMMEDIATELY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER (BILL COLLINS FORD, 4220 BARDSTOWN RD, LOUISVILLE, KY) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ABS HYDRAULIC UNIT WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED APPROXIMATELY SIX YEARS LATER. THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE RECENT FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.

THE BATTERY WAS JUMP STARTED AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO OPERATE FOR A SHORT PERIOD BEFORE THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHO STATED THE BATTERY CONNECTORS WERE SEVERELY CORRODED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. INSIDE DOOR HANDLE BECAME INOPERATIVE REQUIRING WINDOW TO BE LOWERED TO OPEN DOOR FROM OUTSIDE HANDLE. DEALER INSTALLED NEW DOOR HANDLE DUE TO INTERNAL HANDLE CABLE RETAINER BREAKING. THIS PART FAILURE CREATES A VERY UNSAFE CONDITION PREVENTING A FAST EXIT FROM VEHICLE IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. *TR
I HAD PURCHASED MY 2007 FORD FUSION NEW AND HAD A FEW ODDITIES DURING THE COURSE OF OWNERSHIP. WITHIN TWO YEARS OF OWNERSHIP I HAD A BATTERY SHORT OUT. AT THREE YEARS I HAD TO HAVE A HEFTY BRAKE SERVICE DONE BECAUSE OF A CLICKING NOISE WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED. I NOTICED AT FOUR YEARS THAT WHEN I WOULD REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION AND OPEN THE DOOR, THE CAR WOULD CHIME AS IF THE KEY WAS STILL IN IT. THE DEALER HAD NO IDEA WHAT CAUSED THE CHIMING AND IT HAPPENED SPORADICALLY. THE BIGGEST ISSUE WAS IN LATE NOVEMBER OF 2011, I WAS MERGING ON TO THE HIGHWAY AND GOING TO PASS A VEHICLE; MY CAR BEGAN TO REV REALLY HIGH, BUT I WAS NOT ACCELERATING THAT MUCH. I SHIFTED TO NEUTRAL THEN BACK TO FIFTH GEAR STILL NO ACCELERATING. AT THAT MOMENT THE CHECK ENGINE CAME ON AND I NOTICED THAT THE CAR WAS DEAD AND COSTING. AFTER I STOPPED ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY, THE CAR WOULD NOT START AT ALL. HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALER, WHERE THEY SPENT TWO WEEKS OF TEARING APART MY MOTOR. THEY DETERMINED THAT A BOLT CAME LOOSE RELEASING MY TIMING BELT DESTROYING MY ENGINE. I PURCHASED AND EXTENDED WARRANTY WHICH SAVED ME $7500 IN REPLACEMENT COST. AFTER TWO MORE WEEKS I HAD THE CAR BACK. I NOTICED BELT NOISE WHEN I STARTED THE CAR AND THE ENGINE WAS LOUDER THAN THE ORIGINAL ENGINE. WITHIN A MONTH THE CAR WOULD NOT START AGAIN. THE CHIP IN THAT KEY WENT OUT, AND WHEN I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER I COMPLAINED ABOUT THE CHIMING AND THE BELTS. THEY INFORMED ME; THE KEY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED (COSTING $300 DOLLARS), MY BELTS WERE FROM THE ORIGINAL ENGINE AND NOW STRETCHED OUT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, AND THE STARTER WAS GOING OUT. THE MYSTERY OF THE CHIMING WAS FINALLY SOLVED. FORD OFFERED ME EMPLOYEE PRICING ON A NEW CAR BUT WOULD NOT BY BACK MY FUSION. THE DEALERSHIP OFFERED ME NOTHING. THIS CAR WAS PURCHASED AND EXCLUSIVELY SERVICED THERE. *TR
SINCE I BOUGHT THIS CAR, STREAKS APPEAR ON THE WINDOWS WHEN YOU OPEN AND CLOSE THEM. I ASKED THE DEALER ABOUT THIS DURING AN OIL CHANGE AND SHOWED HIM FIRST HAND HOW THE WINDOW WAS SPOTLESS AND THEN I LOWERED IT AND RAISED IT AND IT HAD VERTICAL STREAKS FROM ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER. HE TOLD ME HE HAD HEARD THIS FROM OTHER FUSION OWNERS AND UNLESS FORD ISSUED A RECALL THAT IT COULD GET COSTLY TO HAVE IT FIXED. I AVOID OPENING THE WINDOWS BECAUSE THOSE STREAKS ARE DISTRACTING ON SUNNY DAYS AND CAN GIVE THE APPEARANCE OF SOMETHING BEING THERE THAT ISN'T WHEN TURNING YOUR HEAD TO LOOK OR LOOKING THROUGH THE SIDE MIRRORS. MY DAD JUST BOUGHT A FORD F-250 AND HIS DOESN'T DO THIS SO MAYBE IT'S THE PARTS THAT FORD USES ON THIS VEHICLE THAT CAUSE THE PROBLEM. *TR
MY CAR STOPPED SHIFTING GEARS ON ME AND THE WARNING LIGHT DID NOT COME ON I TOOK IT TO DIFFERENT MECHANICS AND THEY SAID MY TRANSMISSION WAS GOING OUT AND MY CAR IS TO NEW FOR THE TRANSMISSION TO BE GOING OUT. *TR
MY TRANSMISSION WAS ACTING FUNNY AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAD COME ON EARLIER IN THE DAY BUT WENT AWAY. I TOOK MY CAR TO FORD AND WAS TOLD THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS FROM THE GAS CAP AND THEY COULDN'T GET THE PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION TO DUPLICATE. THE CAR'S RPM'S STAY UP AROUND 2000 RPM'S ON A COLD START AND THE WHEN SHIFTING GEARS THEY WILL GO UP TO AROUND 3 AND HOLD FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME BEFORE IT SHIFTS. I DROVE A MANUAL FOR 12 YEARS AND I KNOW THAT THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN WITH AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. I SHOWED THE DEALER THE TSB CONCERNING THE RPM ISSUE BUT THEY DIDN'T CARE. I STARTED RESEARCHING THE ISSUE ONLINE AND HAVE FOUND THIS IS A GROWING PROBLEM. I JUST WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVEN'T MADE THEIR VOICES HEARD OR HAVEN'T EXPERIENCED THE ISSUE YET. FORD NEEDS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION BEFORE IT GETS SOME KILLED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE STALLED SUDDENLY WHILE THE CONTACT WAS ENTERING AN INTERSECTION. A LOCAL MECHANIC REPAIRED THE COILS, SPARK PLUGS AND COMPUTER, WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO STALL. THE MANUFACTURER DENIED ANY ASSISTANCE WITH REPAIRING THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 69,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 70,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT TWO OF THE ENGINE COILS FAILED, CAUSING THE COMPUTER TO FAIL. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. AT APPROX. 85K MILES ON MY 2007 FORD FUSION, THERE WAS A NOTICEABLE ISSUE IN THE FRONT END. TODAY, FORD TELLS ME THERE ARE SEVERAL CODES IN THE COMPUTER RELATED TO TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. NO INDICATOR LIGHT HAS EVER COME ON TO LET ME KNOW I HAVE BEEN DRIVING WITH A BAD TRANSMISSION. SE V6 TRANSMISSION. WHEN PULLING INTO A DRIVEWAY TO GET RID OF A TAILGATER IN THE CITY, I BROUGHT THE CAR TO A COMPLETE STOP, THEN SHIFTED THE CAR INTO REVERSE AFTER THE OTHER CAR HAD PASSED. I TOOK MY FOOT OFF THE BRAKE AND PUT IT ON THE ACCELERATOR, BUT GOT NO RESPONSE FROM THE VEHICLE. I THOUGHT IT HAD OBEYED MY COMMAND AND SHIFTED INTO REVERSE BEFORE I RELEASED THE BRAKE. THE VEHICLE ROLLED BACKWARDS FOR ABOUT THREE SECONDS BEFORE THE TRANSMISSION ACTUALLY SHIFTED INTO REVERSE. SE V6, TIRES: WHEN I INFLATE THE TIRES TO THE PRESSURE RECOMMENDED BY FORD ON THE DOOR STICKER, THE RESULT IS RAPID TIRE WEAR ON THE OUTSIDES OF THE TIRES (UNDER INFLATED). WHEN I INFLATE THE TIRES ACCORDING TO THE TIRE MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATION ON THE SIDEWALL, THE TIRES DO NOT WEAR OUT ON THE OUTSIDE (UNDER INFLATED), NOR IN THE MIDDLE (OVER INFLATED). FORD RECOMMENDS A TIRE PRESSURE THAT IS 9 PSI LOWER THAN THE TIRE MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDS. APPARENTLY THEY DID NOT LEARN FROM FIRESTONE THAT THE TIRES CAN FAIL DUE TO OVERHEATING WHEN THEY ARE UNDER INFLATED, RESULTING IN BLOW OUTS AT FREEWAY SPEED AND DEATHS DUE TO THE RESULTING ACCIDENTS. NOR DID THEY CHANGE THEIR WAYS AS A RESULT OF DAMAGE AWARDS FOR LAWSUITS DUE TO UNDER INFLATED FIRESTONE TIRE FAILURES. PERHAPS THE DAMAGE AWARDS WERE TOO SMALL. *TR
2007 FORD FUSION--MY KEYS ARE GETTING STUCK IN THE IGNITION WHICH TO ME CAUSE A RISK OF SOMEONE STEALING YOUR CAR. THE KEY WILL NOT RELEASE AND IF THE WARRANTY OR EXTENDED WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED, FORD WILL NOT PAY TO HAVE THE CAR REPAIRED. THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN IN EXISTENCE WITH THE FOCUS & FUSION SINCE 2003 AND FORD HAS NOT ISSUED A RECALL. I HAD TO LEAVE MY CAR UNLOCKED AFTER LUNCH BECAUSE I COULD NOT GET THE KEYS OUT OF THE IGNITION. I HAVE OWNED MY FORD FUSION SEL V6 SINCE JUNE OF 2009. IN MAY OF 2011 MY AC WENT OUT WITHIN MINUTES OF BEING USED.
