TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND WENT TO THE FLOORBOARD WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT THEN RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V904000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC) HOWEVER, THE PART FOR THE RECALL REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT CALLED SEVERAL UNKNOWN DEALERS AND WAS INFORMED BY EACH THAT THE PART WAS NOT YET AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
WHEN THE ABS KICKS IN DURING A HARD BRAKE ON SLIPPERY SURFACE AFTERWARDS THE BRAKE PEDAL DEPRESSES TO THE FLOOR WHICH MAKES STOPPING VERY DIFFICULT. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED BUT UNLIKE THE OTHER TIMES MY PEDAL HAS NOT COME BACK ON WEEK # 2 OF BRAKE PEDAL GOING TO THE FLOOR. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD AND OBVIOUSLY AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH THE 09 FUSIONS. WHEN WILL WE GET A RECALL? DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO DIE BEFORE THIS IS ADDRESSED.
DRIVING THROUGH TOWN ON A SUNNY DAY WHEN THE LIGHT IN FRONT OF ME TURNED RED. I APPLIED THE BRAKES AND WENT OVER A SMALL BUMP. AFTER THE BUMP THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT STOP IN TIME AND I WAS FORCED TO ROLL THROUGH THE INTERSECTION. I WAS TERRIFIED. THANKFULLY, I DID NOT CAUSE AN ACCIDENT, BUT THE BRAKE PEDAL REMAINED SPONGY. IT FEELS LIKE IT HAS ABOUT 30% BRAKING POWER. I HAD A TOTAL BRAKE REPLACEMENT LESS THAN 1000 MILES AGO. PADS, ROTORS, BLED THE LINES, THE WHOLE 9 YARDS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD FUSION. WHEN THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO APPLY THE BRAKES AFTER DRIVING OVER A BUMP IN THE ROAD, THE BRAKE PEDAL TRAVELED TO THE FLOORBOARD. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DAVE SINCLAIR FORD INC. (7466 S LINDBERGH BLVD, ST. LOUIS, MO 63125, (314) 892-2600) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE MASTER CYLINDER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 62,500.
AFTER AN ABS BRAKING EVENT, CAUSED BY BRAKING ON A SLIPPERY SURFACE, THE BRAKE PEDAL GOES SOFT, "GOING TO THE FLOOR," AND THE AMOUNT OF FORCE REQUIRED TO STOP THE CAR INCREASES SIGNIFICANTLY.
BRAKES GO TO THE FLOOR, DURING STOPPING THE CAR WHEN: HITTING A POT HOLE WHILE TURNING AND BRAKING, ANOTHER CAR CAUSED ME TO SLID INTO A RUT WHILE BRAKING, BREAKING ON SNOW AND ICE.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD I APPLIED MY BRAKES AND THE PEDAL STARTED TO MOVE IN A NORMAL MOTION THEN VIBRATED AND WENT TO THE FLOOR. THIS ALMOST MADE ME REAR END THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME, I HAD TO SWERVE TO MISS IT. MY BRAKES HAVE BEEN SOFT EVER SINCE. UPON LOOKING ON THE INTERNET I SEE FORD KNOWS ABOUT THIS BUT STILL DOES NOTHING. THIS IS A ISSUE THAT MAKES THE CAR UNSAFE TO DRIVE AND I THINK IT SHOULD BE RECALLED.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. MARLOW FORD (1021 US-211, LURAY, VA 22835, (540) 743-5128) WAS CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REMEDY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
TAKATA RECALL - AFTER RECEIVING WRITTEN NOTICES OF THE RECALL, I APPROACHED MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP ABOUT THE REPAIR (KOONS FALLS CHURCH FORD). I'VE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES ABOUT MAKING AN APPOINTMENT AND HAVING THE PART ORDERED TO ONLY BE TOLD "THEY DON'T HAVE A RECORD OF IF". I CALLED TODAY, AFTER I WAS TOLD THE PART SHOULD HAVE ARRIVED A WEEK AGO, AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE PART AND HAD NO WAY OF KNOWING WHEN IT WOULD COME IN. AND THAT "GIVEN THAT THE COMPANY'S RECENTLY GONE OUT OF BUSINESS" I SHOULD EXPECT IT TO BE QUITE A WHILE. WHEN I MENTIONED THAT I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY OF MY VEHICLE, I WAS TOLD THAT THE RECALL ONLY IMPACTED MY PASSENGER SIDE AND TO NOT SIT THERE.
WHILE DRIVING, MY ABS ACTIVATED DUE TO SLIPPERY ROADS FROM ICE. MY BREAKS HAVE BEEN SOFT AFTER THIS INCIDENT. IT HAPPENED AROUND A MONTH AGO ALSO. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND HAS BEEN REPORTED BEFORE.
AFTER EMERGENCY STOP BRAKES BECAME SOFT, THEY WOULD PUMP UP BUT WOULD NOT STAY UP. HAD CAR REPAIRED NEW HCU VERY COSTLY (1500 DOLLARS) I SEE THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT HAS BEEN REPORTED BEFORE. FORD NEEDS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM, NOT THEIR CUSTOMERS
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IN THE PAST MONTH MY BRAKES WENT SOFT AFTER PULSATING TO A QUICK STOP (ABS I GUESS KICKED IN). I TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC THE FIRST TIME AND HE COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE BRAKE SYSTEM. AFTER HE LOOKED AT IT AND DID A FEW THINGS TO MAKE ABS LIGHT COME ON, THEY WENT BACK TO NORMAL. NOW IT'S BACK, AFTER I HAD TO BRAKE IN THE SNOW AT A LIGHT ON THE HIGHWAY. THEY ARE BACK TO BEING SPONGY AND I HAVE TO PUSH DOWN FURTHER TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP.
SEE COMPLAINT # 11155933 CAR HAS DONE THE SAME UNINTENDED ACCELERATION ON 12/12/18 AND AGAIN ON 1/11/19. ON 12/12/18 STARTING SPEED WAS 25 MPH PRIOR TO ACCELERATION. ONE 1/11/19 STARTING SPEED WAS 55 MPH PRIOR TO ACCELERATION. PROBLEM OCCURS WHEN THE GAS PEDAL IS HIT HARD TO ACCELERATE QUICKLY BUT ACCELERATION CONTINUES BEYOND WHAT IS INTENDED.
CAR WAS IN MOTION ON HIGHWAY WHEN IT STARTED ACCELERATING ON ITS ON AND EVENTUALLY STARTED LOSING POWER

SHORTLY AFTER THE DEALER'S REPAIR, THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED; HOWEVER, THE DEALER INDICATED THAT FURTHER DIAGNOSTIC TESTING WAS REQUIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
TAKATA RECALL LOCAL DEALER SAYS NO PARTS AVAILABLE I RECEIVED LETTER IN MAY 2018, REPEATED CALLS RESULT IN "NO" NOW ITS JANUARY 2019!
BRAKES GO TO FLOOR. NO LEAKS, MASTER CYLINDER IS OK, ROTORS PADS ARE NEW.
DEALER HAS INFORMED ME THAT THEY ANTILOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS) HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU) HAS FAILED. HAVING THE REPAIRS DONE AND WILL COST $1600.
WHILE SLOWING ON A HIGHWAY TO TURN ONTO A SIDE ROAD, THE VEHICLE ENCOUNTERED SLIPPERY CONDITIONS. THE ABS ENGAVED AND THE BRAKE PEDAL BECAME VERY SOFT, AND WENT ALMOST TO THE FLOOR. NEARLY ALL BRAKING ABILITY WAS LOST.
TON OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT ABS , FAILING, CAR FEELS UNSAFE TO DRIVE, MY CAR ONLY HAS 33000 MILES ON IT.
BRAKE PETAL GOES TO THE FLOOR MECHANIC CANNOT FIND ISSUES
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS APPLIED, BUT FELT SPONGY. THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESPOND AND THE BRAKE PEDAL TRAVELED TO THE FLOORBOARD WHEN DEPRESSED. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 99,900. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
WITH ANTISKID ACTIVATED TRYING TO STOP IN AN EXPEDITED MANNER FROM 30MPH BRAKES LOST ALL PRESSURE. PEDAL GOES TO THE FLOOR. WITH NORMAL BRAKING THEY WORK JUST FINE. TESTED BRAKES ON A GRAVEL ROAD AND SPEED DOES NOT MATTER. WHEN THE ANTISKID TRIES TO STOP THE CAR YOU LOOSE ALL BRAKE PRESSURE AND CAR CONTINUES TO TRAVEL FORWARD WITH NO BRAKING. EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS THE ONLY THING THAT STOPPED THE CAR. THERE IS NO BRAKE WARNING LIGHT ON AT THIS TIME OR DURING THE EVENT.
2009 FORD FUSION. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO AIRBAG SAFETY RECALL. *LD *TR
TAKATA RECALL: I HAVE BEEN ENTIRELY UNABLE TO OBTAIN SERVICE FOR THIS RECALL FOR OVER ONE YEAR. EVERY CALL TO THE DEALER IS REBUFFED WITH THE MESSAGE THAT I MUST BE A CRANK OF SOME KIND FOR WANTING THIS RECALL SERVICE TO BE DONE. AIRBAGS ARE IMPORTANT AND THEY SHOULD FIX THEM IN A REASONABLE TIME, NOT MAKE ME WAIT YEARS WITH AN UNSAFE PRODUCT.
CAR LOST BRAKING PRESSURE WHEN DRIVING IN SNOW/ICY CONDITIONS IN SECOND WEEK OF JANUARY 2018. TOOK IT TO MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED FAULTY ABS HCU, BUT SOMEHOW "RESET" THE SYSTEM WHEN WORKING TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM AND CONSEQUENTLY CHOSE NOT TO REPLACE THE UNIT. DROVE WITHOUT ANY BRAKING ISSUES UNTIL DRIVING AGAIN RECENTLY IN SNOW/ICY CONDITIONS, AND SAME PROBLEM REOCCURRED. UNPREDICTABLE, REDUCED BRAKING CONTINUING IN ALL SURFACE CONDITIONS AND SPEEDS SEVERAL DAYS AFTER PROBLEM WAS REINTRODUCED. PEDAL CAN TRAVEL NEARLY TO THE FLOOR WITH DECREASED STOPPING POWER, BUT PUMPING THE BRAKES CAN SOMETIMES TEMPORARILY REINTRODUCE NORMAL BRAKE PEDAL "TRAVEL." PROBLEM APPARENTLY KICKS IN WHEN ABS IS ACTIVATED BUT PERSISTS AFTERWARD.
AFTER AN ABS SITUATION WHEN SLOWING ON A SLICK ROADWAY THE BRAKE PEDAL DROPS NEARLY TO THE FLOOR DANGEROUSLY REDUCING BRAKING PRESSURE INCREASING STOP TIME. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND TOOK AN EXTENDED AMOUNT OF TIME TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKE PEDAL TRAVELED TO THE FLOORBOARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ABS PUMP AND BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND FOLLOWED UP BY A BRAKE FLUID FLUSH. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 144,000.
THE BRAKES SUDDENLY BECAME SOFT AND THE BRAKE PEDAL TRAVELLED ALMOST TO THE FLOOR BEFORE STOPPING THE VEHICLE. THIS OCCURRED WHILE SLOWING FOR AN INTERSECTION ON A WET ROAD. IT DIDN'T FEEL LIKE THE ABS SYSTEM ACTIVATED PROPERLY. THE BRAKES REMAINED SOFT AFTER THAT AND ARE NOT WORKING PROPERLY.
AFTER DRIVING ON SLIPPERY ROADS ON A CITY STREET, THE BRAKE PEDAL BECAME SOFT AND WE COULD NOT STOP. WE HAD TO PUMP THE BRAKES MANY TIMES. THE LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP SAYS THE ABS HCU HAS FAILED.
AFTER HITTING A PIECE OF ICE THE ABS SYSTEM KICKED IN AND DID WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSE TO DO, HOWEVER SINCE THIS HAPPEN MY BRAKE PEDAL CONTINUES TO GO'S TO THE FLOOR BARELY STOPPING MY VEHICLE, THERE ARE NO LIGHTS ON TO INDICATE ANY PROBLEM, BUT SOMETHING IS WRONG AS BRAKE PEDAL SHOULD NOT BE THAT SOFT AND GO TO THE FLOOR. I LOOKED THIS UP TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY ISSUES WITH OTHER FORD FUSIONS AND FOUND THAT IT IS A PROBLEM WITH MANY FORD FUSIONS, ISN'T THIS A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN, MY BRAKES GO TO THE FLOOR AND THERE IS NO LIGHT TO INDICATE THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE BRAKING SYSTEM WHEN OBVIOUSLY THERE IS OR MY PEDAL WOULDN'T BE GOING TO THE FLOOR.
TAKATA RECALL, NOT GETTING DONE, I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR MORE THEN 5MOS TO GET THIS RECALL DONE, 3 TIMES THE DEALER (DELACY FORD) HAS TOLD ME THEY ORDERED THE PART AND WOULD CALL ME WHEN IT COMES IN..NEVER GET A CALL, I HAVE CALLED FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH MORE BROKEN PROMISES. THEY EVEN CALLED A SECOND DEALER (BASIL FORD) AND SAID THAT DEALER WOULD CALL ME TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT, 3 WEEKS LATER, STILL NO CALL.
TAKATA RECALL I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR OVER 6 MONTHS TO GET THIS TAKATA AIRBAG FIXED. WHEN I CALL A FORD LOCATION ( LOCAL DEALERSHIP/CUSTOMER SERVICE) THEY TELL ME MY CAR HAS BEEN FIXED. I HAVE NOT TAKEN MY FUSION ANYWHERE FOR THIS RECALL FIX. I HAVE MADE OVER 30 PHONE CALLS TO FORD. THERE IS A VIN NUMBER MIX UP IN THE FORD SYSTEM. ANOTHER CAR WAS REPAIRED USING MY VIN#. MY AIRBAG HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. FORD TELLS ME THAT IT HAS. PLEASE HELP!
MY WIFE BRAKED ABRUPTLY ON THE HIGHWAY AND AFTERWARD, NOTICED THAT THE BRAKE PEDAL WOULD GO TO THE FLOOR BEFORE SHE COULD STOP. SHE SAID IT SEEMED LIKE THE PEDAL HAD LOST ALL FUNCTION.
TAKATA RECALL I RECEIVED A NOTICE OF THE TAKATA RECALL (PASSENGER FRONTAL AIRBAG INFLATOR) IN FEBRUARY 2018. IT IS ALMOST DECEMBER 2018. IF THIS IS SUCH A SAFETY ISSUE, WHY IS THE RECALL STATUS STILL LISTED AS: "RECALL INCOMPLETE, REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE"?? WHEN WILL A REMEDY BE AVAILABLE??
DURING NORMAL VEHICLE OPERATION, THE ABS RANDOMLY TURNS ON AND OFF WHILE DRIVING, SEVERELY LIMITING MY ABILITY TO SUCCESSFULLY DEPLOY THE BRAKES AND BRING THE VEHICLE TO A STOP. THIS BEGAN HAPPENING OUT OF THE BLUE 5 DAYS AGO. ROAD CONDITIONS DON'T SEEM TO BE A FACTOR. IT IS OCCURRING IN WET AND DRY CONDITIONS AND ON BOTH PAVED AND ROUGH ROADS.
DURING ACCELERATION, TYPICALLY GETTING ON A HIGHWAY, THE CAR CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE AFTER THE GAS PEDAL HAS BEEN LET OFF. PROBLEM IS MOMENTARY AND STOPPED AFTER HITTING THE BRAKE AND TAPPING THE GAS PEDAL. HAPPENED 4 TIMES IN ABOUT A MONTH AND A HALF.
BRAKE PEDAL FELL TO THE FLOOR AFTER ABS INITIATED (SKID ON ICE). REQUIRES SIGNIFICANT FORCE TO STOP VEHICLE. BRAKE FLUID IS FULL AND MASTER CYLINDER IS NOT COMPROMISED

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SHEEHY FORD LINCOLN GAITHERSBURG (901 N FREDERICK AVE, GAITHERSBURG, MD 20879, (301) 358-4443) WHERE THE MECHANICS DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE AND BLEW AIR THROUGH THE VALVES; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,182.
I HAVE BRAND NEW BRAKES AND ROTORS ON. A FEW WEEKS AGO ON A SNOWY DAY I HAD TO ENGAGE THE ABS SYSTEM. AFTER THAT I HAVE A VERY SOFT SPONGY BRAKE FEEL TO MY BRAKES. IT IS TAKING FULL ENGAGING OF BRAKES TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP NOW. I DON'T FEEL LIKE THE CAR IS SAFE.
AFTER BRAKING WHEN THE ABS WAS ACTIVATED THERE IS A LOSS OF PRESSURE IN THE CAR'S BRAKE PEDAL, WHICH FORCES THE DRIVER TO PRESS MUCH HARDER ON THE PEDAL TO BRING IT TO A STOP. THE BRAKE PEDAL GETS VERY "SOFT" AND GOES TO THE FLOOR. THIS PROBLEM DOES NOT OCCUR ALL THE TIME BUT ALWAYS OCCUR AFTER THE ABS HAS BEEN ACTIVATED . THIS HAS HAPPENED ON SEVERAL OTHER OCCASIONS BUT THIS IS THE FIRST I HAVE REPORTED IT.
I HAVE OWNED MY CAR SINCE 2009, WHEN IT WAS PURCHASED NEW. IT IS SERVICES ON REGULAR INTERVALS. RECENTLY, AND FOR THE FIRST TIME, I HAD TO AGGRESSIVELY BRAKE TO AVOID A COLLISION ON A BLIND CORNER DURING TRAVEL ON A HIGHWAY. THE ABS KICKED IN DO TO WET, SLICK ROAD CONDITIONS. SINCE THEN, MY BRAKES HAVE BEEN SOFT AND REQUIRE ME TO NEARLY FULLY DEPRESS TO SAFELY STOP. THIS IS VERY CONCERNING, AND APPEARS TO BE A COMMON RESPONSE TO ABS ACTIVATION IN THIS VEHICLE.

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 6 MONTHS FOR PARTS ON RECALL 18V046. ONLY TO BE TOLD EVERY MONTH THAT THE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. NOT SURE THIS IS THE VENUE TO COMPLAIN

THE DEALER (KEN GRODY FORD, 6211 BEACH BLVD, BUENA PARK, CA 90621, 714-521-3110) WAS CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REMEDY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT TO CALL THE DEALER. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, THE AIR BAG INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND REMAINED LIT. THE CONTACT CALLED COLLEGE STATION FORD AT 979-431-3382 (LOCATED AT 1351 EARL RUDDER FWY, COLLEGE STATION, TX 77845) AND A DIAGNOSTIC TEST WAS RECOMMENDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CALLED AND THE CONTACT ASKED FOR A SUPERVISOR, BUT THE AGENT DID NOT TRANSFER THE CALL. THE CONTACT WAS NOT CALLED BACK. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 226,000. *TT*JB
WHILE BRAKING AND MAKING A RIGHT TURN, THE BREAK PEDAL SUDDENLY LOST PRESSURE PREVENTING THE BREAKS FROM WORKING PROPERLY. I ROLLED PAST THE CORNER, THIS WAS A NEAR ACCIDENT. I LIFTED MY FOOT PUMPING THE BREAKS, IT DIDN'T CHANGE THE PRESSURE. I HAD TO PUT MY FOOT AT LEAST 80% OF THE WAY DOWN TO THE FLOOR TO STOP. THIS LASTED ABOUT 12 HOURS. I TOOK IT IN AND WAS INFORMED IT WAS A COMMON PROBLEM IN THE ABS SYSTEM AND THAT IT WILL COME AND GO. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND MAY HAVE ALREADY CAUSED ACCIDENTS BUT BECAUSE THE PROBLEM COMES AND GOES IT'S HARD TO FIND IT. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM FORD!
BRAKES FAIL AND GO TO FLOOR RANDOMLY DESPITE REPAIRING EVERY KNOWN PART ASSOCIATED WITH BRAKE FAILURE. I HAVE BEEN FORCED TO DRIVE ONTO THE ROAD SHOULDER TWICE THIS WEEK.
THERE HAS BEEN A RECALL ON MY AIRBAGS BUT THERE HASN'T BEEN A SOLUTION. IT'S BEEN A FEW YEARS AND IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO DRIVE THIS CAR ANYMORE. I EXPECT EITHER MY AIRBAGS BE FIXED IMMEDIATELY OR FUNDS TO GO TOWARDS A DIFFERENT CAR, CONSIDERING THE AIRBAGS AREN'T SAFE.
I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR THE PASSENGER SEAT AIRBAG FROM FORD IN 2017, AND ACCORDING TO THE NOTICE, ONE OF THE MANUFACTURE NEAR ME WILL CONTACT ME TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. HOWEVER I HAVEN'T HEAR ANYTHING RELATED TO THE RECALL. I EVEN CHATTED WITH ONE OF THE AGENTS OF FORD, SHE SAID THE MODEL IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE TIME. IT'S BEEN MORE THAN 10 MONTHS FROM THE CHAT NOW.
