2015 FORD FUSION. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO STEERING WHEEL SAFETY RECALL. *LD THE CONSUMER STATED THE KEYS TO THE VEHICLE WERE STOLEN AND REQUESTED INFORMATION ON HOW TO HANDLE THE SITUATION. *JS
THIS CAR HAS BEEN IN MULTIPLE TIMES FOR LOSS OF POWER AND ENGINE CUTTING OUT DURING ACCELERATION. IT HAS BECOME DANGEROUS. THIS IS THE ECOBOOST ENGINE. FORD IS NOT TELLING ALL ABOUT THE DANGERS OF THIS PROBLEM. I HAVE ALMOST BEEN KILLED SEVERAL TIMES TRYING TO ACCELERATE INTO THE ROADWAY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD FUSION HYBRID. WHEN THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL TO SHIFT FROM PARK INTO DRIVE TO START THE IGNITION, SHE WAS UNABLE TO SHIFT GEARS AND "PARKING GAUGE ENGAGED" APPEARED. THE CONTACT ALSO HEARD AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO SUNTRUP FORD KIRKWOOD (LOCATED AT 10340 MANCHESTER RD, KIRKWOOD, MO 63122, (888) 856-2335), BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEALER REPLACED THE BRAKE BOOSTER IN OCTOBER OF 2018. ON DECEMBER 18, 2019, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 58,000. *LN*JB
2015 FORD FUSION- AFTER SITTING FOR SHORT PERIODS OF TIME THE VEHICLE WILL NOT TURN ON UNTIL MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS. THE BATTERY IS GOOD. NO JUMP IS REQUIRED. VEHICLE WILL GO FROM NO POWER ON THE FIRST ATTEMPTED START TO MANAGING TO POWER ON WITHIN A COUPLE OF MINUTES. WHILE IN DRIVE, THE VEHICLE WILL NOT SWITCH GEARS APPROPRIATELY. THE ENGINE WILL REV, PULL, AND THEN SWITCH GEARS VERY ROUGHLY. THIS HAS BEEN LOOKED AT BY A LOCAL MECHANIC. THE MECHANIC COULD NOT FIND ANY PROBLEMS EVEN THOUGH IT HAS BEEN A CONSISTENT OCCURRENCE. MECHANIC STATED THAT THIS IS COMMON IN NEWER FORDS.
MY WINDSHIELD WIPER WOULD DRAG AND STICK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WINDSHIELD. I TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO GET THE DEALER TO DO SOMETHIING, BUT ALL I GOT WAS FORD KNEW ABOUT BUT DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM!! MY DRIVER'S SIDE BLADE STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF MY VIEW..I DROVE TO THE DEALERSHIP IN A RAIN/SNOW TO PROVE TO THEM THERE WAS DEFINITELY SOMETHING WRONG!! A MECHANIC CAME OUT TO LOOK AT IT AND FINALLY DECIDED IT WAS THE WIPER MOTOR. THEY ORDERED ME ONE. IT CAME IN THE NEXT DAY. I GOT AN APPOINTMENT FROM AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE REPAIR FOR SAME DAY. WHEN I ARRIVED THE SERVICE WRITER TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE VERY BUSY AND WOULDN'T GET THE CARS FIXED THAT WAS ALREADY. IT WAS FIXED THAT AFTERNOON. THEY ALWAYS HAD AN EXCUSE FOR NOT FIXING MY WIPER PROBLEM. I FEEL MY TIME IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS THEIRS. MY HUSBAND HAD JUST HAD SURGERY AND I AM THE ONLY ONE HE HAS TO TAKE CARE OF HIM. I HAD TO LEAVE HIM ALONE TO GO GET MY 2015 FUSION REPAIRED. I HOPE FORD WILL ISSUE A RECALL ON THIS WIPER PROBLEM SO I CAN GET MY $100 DEDUCTIBLE ON MY EXTENDED WARRANTY BACK. THIS HAPPENED ON APPROX 4/2018
MY 2015 FORD FUSION HAS DIFFICULTY CHANGING GEARS WHILE DRIVING, SPECIFICALLY SHIFTING FROM FIRST TO SECOND, THEN SECOND TO THIRD. ALSO, ROUGH SHIFTING FROM PARK TO REVERSE WITH MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE. THE LATEST INCIDENT WAS WHEN I MOVED THE GEAR SHIFT FROM PARK TO REVERSE AND THE CAR DID NOT SHIFT INTO GEAR. I PUT IT BACK INTO PARK, THEN INTO REVERSE AGAIN AND IT SHIFTED. I DRIVE IT HOME, VERY SLOWLY, AND HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP THE NEXT MORNING. FORD CORPORATE IS INVOLVED, AFTER FOUR MONTHS OF ME ASKING FOR A NEW TRANSMISSION, AND THEY HAVE NOT INFORMED ME OF A CONCLUSIVE DECISION ON WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO. I AM AFRAID FOR MY LIFE TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE, AND HAVE TOLD THE DEALERSHIP AND FORD CORPORATE SO MULTIPLE TIMES. THE CAR ISN'T GENERATING ANY CODES, AND THEY HAVE, SO FAR, REFUSED TO PUT A NEW TRANSMISSION AND ASSOCIATED PARTS IN THE VEHICLE. I DO NOT QUALIFY FOR THE LEMON LAWS IN MY STATE BECAUSE I AM THE SECOND OWNER OF THE VEHICLE. HOWEVER, I PURCHASED IT AS A CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED VEHICLE FROM WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A REPUTABLE DEALER. IN DEALING WITH THIS DEALERSHIP, I HAVE COME TO REALIZE THAT THE DEALER IS WORTHLESS AND SHADY. I'M WORKING WITH ANOTHER DEALER NOW, AND THEY SEEM TO BE A BIT BETTER. FORD CORPORATE IS REFUSING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ISSUES WITH THIS DEATHTRAP THEY SOLD ME, AND I'M STRUGGLING TO GET OUT OF THE CAR EVEN THOUGH IT'S BEEN IN THE SHOP FIVE TIMES NOW FOR THE SAME ISSUE. MY CAR IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY. THEY HAVE REPLACED SEVERAL ITEMS, BUT THE CAR DRIVES MORE ROUGHLY AFTER EVERY "REPAIR" ATTEMPT. I WANT OUT OF THIS DEATHTRAP, AND I WANT FORD TO GIVE ME ALL OF MY MONEY BACK THAT I PAID FOR IT. WORD TO THE WISE, DON'T EVER BUY A FORD.
AFTER WIPERS HAVE BEEN RUN FOR A FEW MINUTES THEY START TO STUTTER AND SKIP. SOMETIMES THEY STOP HALFWAY DOWN THE WINDOW AND THEN AFTER A FEW SECONDS GO TO PARK POSITION. FORD DEALER TELLS ME PROBLEM STARTED WHEN THEY CHANGED TO THE "EURO" WIPER A FEW YEARS AGO. PUTTING IN A NEW MOTOR WON'T HELP, SAME PROBLEM. THE DEALER CHANGES ALL NEW 28" WIPERS TO 26 WHEN THEY DELIVER A CAR. MINE HAD 26" AND STILL HAS THE PROBLEM.
MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO. AFTER I FILL UP MY TANK THE CAR WON'T START. I HAVE TO GIVE IT A LOT OF GAS AS I'M STARTING IT FOR IT TO START. WITHIN THE PAST WEEK IT WOULD NOT IDLE SMOOTHLY IF I WAS AT A STOP SIGN OR STOP LIGHT. I'VE NOTICED THIS HAPPENS WHEN I HAVE AROUND 1/4 TANK OF GAS. AGAIN, I'VE STARTED PUTTING MY FOOT ON THE GAS WHILE I'M STOPPED TO KEEP THE IDLE SMOOTH. I WAS ABLE TO GET AN APPOINTMENT WITH A DEALERSHIP. THEY FOUND THE PURGE VALVE ASSEMBLY TO BE DEFECTIVE. THIS DEVICE IS ON A NATIONWIDE BACK ORDER. THE PART HAS BEEN ORDERED AND THEY WILL REPLACE IT WHEN IT COMES IN, WHENEVER THAT IS. HOWEVER I'M LEFT DRIVING THE VEHICLE. YESTERDAY, I WAS DRIVING DOWN A CITY STREET AT ABOUT 35MPH WHEN THE ENGINE JUST SHUT OFF. I WAS NOT LOW ON GAS. I HAD JUST UNDER 1/2 TANK. LUCKILY THERE WAS MINIMAL TRAFFIC AND I WAS ABLE TO START IT ONLY AFTER SEVERAL TRIES AND GIVING IT A LOT OF GAS AS SOON AS I HIT START. I HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THE PART WILL COME IN. I'M CONCERNED I'LL PULL OUT INTO TRAFFIC AND THE ENGINE WILL DIE. OR I'LL BE ON THE HIGHWAY JUST DRIVING ALONG AND IT WILL DIE. IF EITHER OF THOSE OCCUR, I'M NOT SURE WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO ME OR MY KIDS.
THE BRAKES OF MY CAR WENT COMPLETELY OUT. EVEN WHILE IN 'PARK,' THE CAR WOULD MOVE. IT WAS TOWED TO LOCAL DEALERSHIP WHERE WE WERE TOLD THE BRAKE BOOSTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. LUCKILY, WHEN THIS HAPPENED, I WAS GOING AT A VERY SLOW RATE OF SPEED ON A CITY STREET AND WAS ABLE TO USE MY EMERGENCY BRAKE TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2015 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL DETACHED FROM THE STEERING COLUMN. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO A DITCH. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED MINOR BRUISES AND BACK PAIN THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INSURANCE LOT WHERE IT WAS DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 50,000.
The contact owns a 2015 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that on several occasions while in reverse(R), the back over prevention camera froze, and the screen went black. The contact stated that via an online tutorial video, she became aware that there was a wire failure in the front driver’s seat. The contact stated that on several occasions when the screen went black and or froze, the front driver’s seat was moved back and forth, and eventually the camera worked normally. Additionally, the contact stated that when the driver’s seat was moved back and forth and there were no changes, the vehicle would be driven on an incline, and the camera worked normally. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
WRENCH LIGHT IS ON ONCE I START THE CAR (STILL IN PARK) IN DRIVEWAY. AFTER DRIVING ABOUT 50 FEET AND I COME TO A COMPLETE STOP ONCE I HIT THE GAS TO ACCELERATE MY CAR DOES NOT GO FORWARD AND IF IT DOES IT WILL SLOWLY JUT FORWARD, REPEATS THIS ACTION OVER AND OVER AGAIN UNTIL CAR IS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED. ONCE CAR IS RESTARTED THE WRENCH LIGHT TURNS OFF. THIS HAS OCCURRED THREE SEPERATE TIMES ABOUT TWO TO THREE MONTHS APART EACH TIME. FORD CLAIMS THEY ARE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE IN MY VEHICLE. VERY SCARY TO TURN IN FRONT OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW IF YOUR CAR IS GOING TO ACTUALLY ACCELERATE OR NOT.
THE PASSENGERS AIR BAG WILL NOT TURN ON FOR MY 5"4 105LB WIFE WHEN SHE SITS IN THE SEAT. FORD / THE DEALER CLAIM IT MAY BREAK HER NECK; I DON'T THINK SO. SHE HAS A FUNCTIONING AIRBAG IN HER TOYOTA SAI (IN JAPAN).
MY 2015 FUSION SE GEAR WILL NOT SHIFT. IT IS STUCK AND REVERSE. TRIED TO SHIFT GEARS AND NOW THAT MY CAR IS NOT IN PARK ENGINE WILL NOT TURN ON. I JUST GOT MY CAR TWO MONTHS AGO. A RELATIVE ALSO HAD THIS PROBLEM AND WAS TOLD IT COULD BE THE SHIFT CABLE.

I LITERALLY JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR AND WITHIN 15 MIN OF DRIVING OFF THE LOT IT STALLED MULTIPLE TIMES IN THE DRIVE THRU AND THEN AGAIN WHEN PULLING ONTO THE ROAD AND ONCOMING TRAFFIC ALMOST HIT US. TERRIFYING.

THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDED NO REMEDY OTHER THAN THE DEALER REPLACING THE PART. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS HESITANT WITH A LOSS OF ENGINE POWER, STALLED, AND WOULD CRANK, BUT NOT START. IN FEBRUARY OF 2016 THE ENGINE SEEMED TO BE MIS-FIRING. TOOK TO DEALER AND DEALER PULLED FAULT CODE FOR #3 CYLINDER MIS-FIRE AND RECOMMENDED SPARK PLUG CHANGE. HAD SPARK PLUGS CHANGED AND CAR SEEMED TO BE A LITTLE BETTER. FEBRUARY 2018 THE PROBLEM GOT MUCH WORSE AND ACTUALLY STALLED FOR COOLANT TEMPERATURE BUT THE CAR HAD JUST BEEN STARTED. TOOK TO DEALER AND THEY AGAIN DIAGNOSED #3 CYLINDER MIS-FIRE. CYLINDER PRESSURE TEST FAILED. DEALER TOOK ENGINE APART AND FOUND THAT SIGNS OF OVERHEATING IN JUST THAT CYLINDER WHICH DAMAGED THE CYLINDER GASKET AND ALLOWED COOLANT TO LEAK INTO THE CYLINDER. THE CYLINDER WAS DAMAGED AND THE DEALER REQUEST ENGINE CHANGE. THERE IS A FORD RECALL VERY SIMILAR TO THIS FOR LIKE VEHICLES BUT THIS PARTICULAR MODEL IS NOT INCLUDED. THE RECALL # IS 17V209000. FORD'S RECALL # IS 17S09. THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT THE WARRANTY COMPANY WILL NOT COOPERATE WITH THE DEALERS FINDINGS AND WILL NOT PAY FOR THE REPAIR. THE ENGINE IS CURRENTLY TORN APART WITH A VERY LARGE LABOR BILL ALREADY AND NOW A NEW ENGINE IS NEEDED FOR A DEFECT IN THE WAY IT WAS BUILT. CURRENTLY WITHOUT A CAR AND A VERY LARGE REPAIR BILL THAT I CAN'T AFFORD. PLEASE LOOK INTO WHY THIS MODEL YEAR HAS NOT BEEN INCLUDED WITH THE CURRENT RECALL. PLEASE HELP! THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY AT CASTLE FORD IN MICHIGAN CITY, IN 46360. THEY HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION OF THE DIAGNOSTICS THERE.
THE CAR JERKS DURING SHIFTING ON CITY STREETS, ALL TIMES OF DAY, ALL ROAD CONDITIONS.
AT TIMES THERE IS A LOUS CLUNKING WHEN GOING FROM PARK TO DRIVE, PARK TO REVERSE, REVERSE TO DRIVE AND VICE VERSA. ALSO THERE IS SOME HARD SHIFTING WHEN ACCELERATING.
IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS MY CAR HAS SUDDENLY STOPPED WILE I'M DRIVING IT 4 TIMES, I HAVE BEEN LUCKY THAT I HAVE NOT HAD ANY ACCIDENTS, I HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING ONLINE AND THERE IS A LOT OF PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME ISSUE
DEPRESS THE ACCELERATOR AND OFTEN THE VEHICLE HAS NO POWER. SPUTTERS AND THEN THE ENGINE REVS HIGH AND TAKES OFF. OFTEN DURING DRIVING THE RPM GAUGE WILL SPIKE, LOSS OF POWER OCCURS AND THEN THE VEHICLE JERKS AND POWER IS RESTORED. DOES NOT MATTER THE LENGTH OF TIME THE VEHICLE IS DRIVEN, THESE INCIDENTS HAPPEN EVERY DAY, EVERY TIME THE VEHICLE IS DRIVEN. JUST PURCHASED THE VEHICLE ON 2-12-2018, USED WITH 46XXX MILES ON IT.
THERE IS A SHIFT LAG BETWEEN 2ND AND 3RD GEAR COLD OR HOT, ESPECIALLY WITH GRADUAL ACCELERATION. FORD REPLACED THE SHIFT SOLENOID, WITH NO IMPROVEMENT. TOOK IT BACK AND THEY SAID THEY RECEIVE AN SSM FORD TO THE EFFECT THAT IT WAS NORMAL TO HAVE THIS ISSUE.
KEY FOBS BREAK APART UNDER NORMAL USE. CAN BREAK DURING DRIVING CREATING A SERIOUS HAZARD.

THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 70,000.

DRIVER(WWII VET) HAD TO PUSH CONNECT PHONE ON THREE DIFFERENT LOCATIONS WHILE DRIVING AT INTERSTATE SPEED..PUTTING 3 LIVES IN JEPORDY..PLEASE DISMANTLE THIS FEATURE LIKE THE ADDRESS YOU CAN ENTER WHEN SEARCHING FOR A LOCATION TILL THE CAR STOPS--COMPLETELY UNSAFE AND REDICULOUS..ALSO THE CAR MAKERS HAVENT GOT IT RIGHT YET AFTER 100 YRS. ON DETERMINING THE CORRECT LOCATION OF CONTROLS--CONSISTANCY DOES PAY OFF, IT SURE DOES WHEN IT COMES TO SELLING VEHICLES BY THEM NOT BEING CONSISTANT AND YOU CRASH AND HAVE TO KEEP THEM IN BUSINESS BUYING THEIR PARTS AND REPAIR FROM THEIR COMPANY..SIGNED-PASSENGER-BACKSEAT, HAVENT DROVE SINCE 2012--AND AUTO MAKERS DON'T DESERVE IT.
The contact owns a 2015 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while reversing, the camera image was flipped and backwards, and occasionally the screen was blank. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V442000 (Back Over Prevention). The local dealer was contacted and confirmed that the VIN was not included in the recall. The contact was informed about a diagnostic test to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and confirmed there was no recall on the VIN related to the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 44,000.
TAKATA RECALL I CURRENTLY OWN A 2015 FORD FUSION SE 2.0L TURBO AS THE MILEAGE HAS INCREASED I HAVE BECOME AWARE OF A PROBLEM WITH THE PURGE VALE, AS I HAVE HAVING TROUBLING STARTING MY CAR AFTER I PUT GAS IN IT ALONG WITH STALLING. AFTER SOME RESEARCH I CAME UPON ARTICLES OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME MODEL CAR WITH THE SAME PURGE VALVE PROBLEM. I BELIEVE THIS IS A DEFECT IN THE CAR THAT HAS DANGEROUS SAFETY HAZARDS
THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME LOOSE AND HAS VERY MUCH PLAY ALMOST ABOUT TO FALL OFF. IT WOULDN'T SURPRISE ME IF IT DID.

WHEN TOW TRUCK DRIVER ARRIVED, HE NOTICED THAT THE SHIFT LINKAGE WAS DISCONNECTED FROM GEAR CHANGER. NO PART IN STOCK TO RECONNECT IT, EVEN AFTER CONTACTING DEALERSHIP. A CAR THIS NEW SHOULD NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM. ONLY NORMAL DRIVING ACTIVITY AND REGULAR MAINTENANCE.

THE POWER STEERING, BRAKING, LIGHTING AND CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEMS REMAIN FULLY FUNCTIONAL SO YOU HAVE NO CLEAR CLUE ON WHAT IS OCCURRING, HOWEVER YOU KNOW THE VEHICLE NO LONGER REMAINS OPERATIONAL AND YOU COME TO A COMPLETE STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED THE FAILURE LISTED IN THE RECALL. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
CAR ROLLS BACKWARDS WHILE IN PARK. ONLY WAY TO STOP IT IS TO ENGAGE PARKING BRAKE. EVEN TRIED TURNING THE CAR OFF AND THEN ON AGAIN AND IT STILL DOES IT.
WHEN A DOOR IS OPENED WHILE THE CAR IS STATIONARY BUT IN GEAR OR THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED WHILE ON AN INCLINE AND THE VEHICLE STOPS ON AN INCLINE, THE PARKING BRAKE ENGAGES BUT THE DASHBOARD LIGHT DOES NOT ILLUMINATE. WHEN THE PARKING BRAKE IS ON, THE BRAKE PEDAL MUST BE APPLIED AND THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ELECTRONIC SWITCH PRESSED TO DISENGAGE. THE PARKING BRAKE. THE INDICATOR LIGHT NOT ILLUMINATING INITIALLY CAUSED CONFUSION AND WORRY THAT SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO TROUBLESHOOT AND REPRODUCE THE ISSUE AT WILL.
CAR STOPPED DEAD WHILE DRIVING 65 MILES AN HOUR ON HIGHTWAY. I WAS ABLE TO GET CAR OVER TO SIDE OF ROAD AND TRIED TO START CAR IT STALLED OUT MULTIPLE TIMES ONCE STARTED ENGINE LIGHT WENT ON. BROUGHT TO DEALER WHO ONLY REPLACED BATTERY. CAR ENGINE LIGHT STILL GOING ON AND IT IS STILL STALLING. THIS IS THE 2ND TIME IN 6 MONTHS THIS HAS HAPPEND TO THIS FORD FUSION IT IS ONLY 2 YEARS OLD.
IN OCTOBER 2017 MY FUSION STALLED OUT FOUR TIMES (THREE VARIOUS DAYS AND ONE DAY 15 MINUTES BETWEEN STALLS) AND AGAIN ON NOVEMBER 4TH. EACH TIME I WAS DRIVING LESS THAN 10 MPH; FOUR TIMES ON A CITY STREET AND ONCE IN A PARKING LOT. IN EACH CASE I HAD BEEN DRIVING FOR AN HOUR OR MORE AND THEN STOPPED AND TURNED OFF THE CAR FOR A PERIOD OF TIME (1/2 HOUR OR SO). WHEN I GOT INTO THE CAR TO DRIVE AWAY THE CAR WOULD START NORMALLY AND THEN WITHIN A FEW MINUTES AFTER THE CAR WAS PUT INTO DRIVE AND MOVING IT WOULD START TO SPUTTER AND SHAKE AND THEN STALL OUT. IN EACH CASE NO ENGINE CHECK LIGHT CAME ON. I WOULD WAIT A FEW SECONDS, PRESS THE START BUTTON, THE ENGINE WOULD CRANK A FEW TIMES, AND THEN IT WOULD START. EACH TIME THIS OCCURRED I RAN A VEHICLE HEALTH REPORT AND NOTHING WAS NOTED. THE CAR WAS TAKEN TO A FORD DEALER WHERE THEY COULD NOT REPLICATE THE ISSUE. IN DOING RESEARCH, I BELIEVE THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE FUEL INJECTION THROTTLE BODY.
STEERING WHEEL HAS BECOME EXTREMELY LOOSE AND VIABLE. IT MOVES BACK AND FORTH AND SIDEWAYS. HAPPENED RATHER SUDDENLY.
THE STEERING WILL IS LOOSE AND THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT JIGGLING UP AND DOWN/ SIDE TO SIDE. THIS IS NOT A TIRE OR BRAKE ISSUES. THE STEERING WHEEL IS LOOSE AND WIGGLES EVEN WHEN THE CAR IS NOT RUNNING AND/OR IN PARK. THE CAR HAS ~38K MILES AND THIS PROBLEM STARTED ABOUT A MONTH AGO.

FRONT LEFT (DRIVER) DOOR OPENED WHILE IN MOTION, DOOR WILL NOT LATCH. THIS PREVIOUSLY HAS OCCURRED WITH THE REAR LEFT DOOR AND WAS REPAIRED BY DEALERSHIP AT MY COST.
THE STEERING WHEEL HAS COME LOOSE FROM THE STEERING COLUMN.
NOTICED THAT STEERING WHEEL WAS LOOSE WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE HOME FROM WORK FOR LUNCH AT 12:00 ON 10/27/17. ONLY WHEEL IS LOOSE- STEERING COLUMN IS LATCHED AND STATIONARY. WHEEL HAS AT LEAS 1/2" OF GIVE ON ALL SIDES.
NOTICED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL IS LOOSE.

BEFORE STARTING THE VEHICLE, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL WAS EXTREMELY LOOSE AND WOULD PHYSICALLY MOVE APPROXIMATELY 1 TO 2 INCHES IN EITHER DIRECTION. THE VEHICLE WAS IMMEDIATELY TAKEN TO THE DEALER (LAKE FORD IN LEWISTOWN, PA) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL BOLTS WERE FAULTY AND DID NOT HAVE THE PROPER TREAD TO SECURE THE STEERING WHEEL IN POSITION. THE FAILURE WAS REPAIRED BY REPLACING THE BOLTS AND APPLYING A TREAD LOCK ADHESIVE TO THE BOLTS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
STEERING WHEEL CAME LOOSE COMING OUT OF PARKING GARAGE AND ALMOST WRECKED. DEALER STATED THEY TIGHTENED THE BOLT AND HOPEFULLY IT DOESN'T COME LOOSE AGAIN. HAVE HAD THE TRANSMISSION COOLER REPLACED AT 300 MILES WHICH BROKE DOWN ON HIGHWAY. EMERGENCY BRAKE WARNING CAME ON DRIVING DOWN FREEWAY EMERGENCY BRAKE INITIATED CAUSING CAR TO STOP AND ALMOST WRECK. THE DEALER SAID THEY FIXED A SENSOR.
