TAKATA RECALL - THIS AIRBAG RECALL WAS ISSUED IN JUNE 2016 AND NO PARTS HAVE BEEN MADE AVAILABLE FOR THE REPAIR. THIS RECALL HAS EXCEEDED THE ONE YEAR TIMELINE BY TWO MONTHS AND IS NOW CONSIDERED 'NOT TIMELY'. A DAILY FINE IS RECOMMENDED UNTIL THE PARTS ARE AVAILABLE. FORD SENT ME A RECALL NOTICE BACK IN JUNE 2016 LETTING ME KNOW MY PASSENGER AIRBAG IS A TAKATA AIRBAG AND WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED. I HAVE CALLED FORD MULTIPLE TIMES OVER THE YEAR ABOUT WHEN PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE. CALLED THEM TODAY AND THEY STATE THEY ARE STILL NOT AVAILABLE AND THEY DO NOT KNOW WHEN THEY WILL BE. IT IS MID AUGUST 2017, OVER A YEAR LATER. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHEN PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE SO I CAN HAVE PASSENGERS SIT IN MY CAR WITH ME. RECALL NUMBERS ARE 16V384 OR 16S26. ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
TAKATA RECALL. I WAS NOTIFIED IN JUNE, 2016 THAT THE PASSENGER AIRBAG WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH THE FORD DEALERSHIP ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS DURING THE PAST 14 MONTHS BUT HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GET THE DEFECTIVE AIRBAG REPLACED.
TAKATA RECALL - WE WANT FORD TO GIVE US A RENTAL UNTIL A REPLACEMENT BAG CAN BE INSTALLED. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO DRIVE A CAR WITH AN AIRBAG THAT COULD SERIOUSLY INJURE OR KILL YOU. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.
TAKATA RECALL - 16V384 THIS RECALL WAS ISSUED ON JUNE 1, 2016 OR ALMOST A YEAR AND A HALF AGO. AND STILL A REMEDY IS NOT YET AVAILABLE. MY FAMILY IS AT RISK DRIVING THIS VELICLE WITHOUT THE AIRBAG BEING REPLACED. THERE IS SIMPLY NO REASON THAT FORD AND THE NHTSA CANNOT PROVIDE CONSUMER PROTECTION FOR THE PRODUCTS THAT HAVE BEEN SOLD TO LOYAL FORD CUSTOMERS.

TAKATA RECALL MY CAR HAS HAD AN ACTIVE RECALL SINCE JUNE 2016, YET FORD AND LOCAL DEALERSHIP HAVE NOT REPAIRED THE AIRBAG NOR HAVE THEY PROVIDED ANY TIMELINE FOR COMPLETING THIS WORK ON MY CAR. NOT COMPLETING THE WORK FOR WELL OVER A YEAR OR EVEN BE ABLE TO PROVIDE A DATE BY WHICH THE WORK WILL BE DONE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. I NEED FOR THIS REPAIR TO BE COMPLETED ASAP IN ORDER TO AVOID ANY RISK FOR FAILURE.

I WAS NOTIFIED IN JUNE, 2016 THAT THERE WAS A RECALL OF THE PASSENGER FRONTAL AIRBAG ON MY CAR AND IT WAS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS TO THE FRONT PASSENGER IN CASE OF A CRASH. SINCE THAT TIME I HAVE NOT ALLOWED ANYONE TO SIT IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT WHILE AWAITING CORRECTION OF THE PROBLEM. IT HAS NOW BEEN 18 MONTHS DURING WHICH I HAVE NOT HAD FULL USE OF MY CAR AND THE PASSENGER FRONT AIRBAG HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED. THIS IS EGREGIOUS!!
TAKATA RECALL FORD HAS NOW WARNED US BY MAIL THAT NO ONE SHOULD SIT IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT UNTIL THE REPAIR HAS BEEN MADE AND THAT THEY WILL BEGIN MAKING REPAIRS IN NHTSA REMEDY ORDER IN THE SPRING OF 2018. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. EXPECTING US TO NOT USE THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT IN A MUSTANG (WHICH HAS ONLY ENOUGH SEATING SPACE IN THE BACK SEAT FOR A VERY SMALL CHILD WITHOUT A CAR SEAT) IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. AND, AS WE HAVE NO IDEA WHERE WE WILL FALL IN THE REMEDY PRIORITY ORDER, IT COULD BE A VERY LONG TIME BEFORE OUR REPAIR PARTS ARE AVAILABLE TO US AND WE ARE ABLE TO SAFELY TRANSPORT MORE THAN ONE PERSON IN THIS VEHICLE. SOMETHING MORE HAS TO BE DONE. THIS HAS GONE ON FAR TOO LONG.

MY CAR WAS RECALLED FOR FAULTY AIRBAGS. THE DRIVER SIDE HAS BEEN REPLACED, HOWEVER THE PASSENGER SIDE HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED. IT HAS BEEN 18 MONTHS SINCE BRINGING THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR REPLACEMENT AIRBAGS. EVERY TIME I ASK THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE PASSENGER AIRBAG THE DEALER STATES THAT THERE ARE NONE IN STOCK.
TAKATA RECALL: MY PASSENGER AIR BAG HAS NOT BE REPLACED. DEALERSHIP HAS BEEN WAITING ON THE PART FOR 1 1/2 YEARS. THIS IS A RIDICULOUSLY LONG TIME TO WAIT AND EXCEEDINGLY UNSAFE.
WHILE DRIVING THE PAN HARD BAR BROKE CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO WOBBLE BACK AND FORTH UNCONTROLLABLY. I WAS MAKING A RIGHT HAND TURN AT A LIGHT I WAS PREVIOUSLY STOPPED AT. I HEARD A NOISE AS IF I HAD RAN OVER SOMETHING AND AFTER COMPLETING THE TURN MY CAR SOUNDED AS IF IT HAD A FLAT. I PULLED OVER AND INSPECTED THE TIRE AND SAW NOTHING. ATTEMPTING TO DRIVE OVER 10MPH RESULTED IN INTENSE WOBBLING AND UNABLE TO CONTROL VEHICLE. IF AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED THIS COULD HAVE RESULTED IN A CRASH. RESEARCHED ONLINE AND MULTIPLE OTHERS HAD SAME INCIDENT WITH UNKNOWN REASONS THE BAR BREAKS CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL.THIS BAR HOLDS BETWEEN REAR WHEELS SO VEHICLE WILL STAY STRAIGHT. I AM JUST THANKFUL I WAS AT A SLOW SPEED AND NOT DRIVING ON A FREEWAY OR HIGHER RATE OF SPEED THAT COULD HAVE RESULTED IN LOSING MY LIFE OR SOMEONE ELSE'S NOT HAVING CONTROL OF BACK PORTION OF MY VEHICLE. EVEN HAVING IT TOWED THE TOW OPERATOR SAID IT WASN'T EVEN STABLE ON BACK OF HIS TRUCK.

I TRIED TAKING IT BACK AND ALL THEY SAID WAS THAT THEY WERE GONNA CHECK IT BUT THAT THEY DIDNT DO ANYTHING TO IT.AFTER SITTING ALL DAY OUTSIDE MY LOCAL DEALER THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO CHARGE ME $$$$ FOR CHECKING IT. TAKATA RECALL -- I AM THE OWNER OF A 2006 MUSTANG GT, FOR WHICH I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE BY MAIL IN DECEMBER 2015. I PHONED THE DEALER IMMEDIATELY TO SCHEDULE THE SERVICE ON THE CAR, BUT WAS TOLD THAT PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE THAT WEEK. THE CAR WAS ESSENTIALLY OFF THE ROAD IN STORAGE THE REMAINDER OF THE WINTER. I PHONE THE DEALER ON 4/28/2016, AND WAS TOLD THAT PARTS WERE STILL NOT AVAILABLE. THEY WERE "HOPING THE PARTS WOULD BE IN, SOON." THIS IS AN UNCONSCIONABLE DELAY FOR A PROBLEM THAT COULD RESULT IN "SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH," ACCORDING TO THE RECALL NOTICE. WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THE SITUATION?
WHILE DRIVING THE 5 SPD, TAKING OFF FROM STOP SIGN THERE IS A DEAD SPOT THEN IT TAKES OFF IRRADICALLY. ONCE ON THE INTERSTATE, I TRIED TO SLOW DOWN AND FOOTFEED STUCK SO I SHIFTED DOWN AND PUMPED THE FOOTFEED/PEDAL THAT WASN'T STUCK..THE MOTOR EVENTUALLY SLOWED DOWN TO A MANAGEABLE LEVEL. IT HAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE THROTTLE PEDAL ASSEMBLY SENSOR. HAS OTHERS COMPLAINED OF THIS? IT IS A RECALL SITUATION FORD IS WILLING TO TAKE CARE OF? I AM THE 3RD OWNER. THE FIRST TWO COMPLAINED IT WAS HARD TO TAKE OFF ON A HILL. BUT THAT CAN BE AN INEXPERIENCED DRIVER PROBLEM IS WHY I BOUGHT IT.
SUDDEN ACCELERATION. HAPPENED 3-4 TIMES BEFORE. CRUISE CONTROL ON HIGHWAY. I ROLLED INTO IT (THAT IS NOT FLOORING IT) AND IT WOULD NOT STOP ACCELERATING. USED BRAKES TO CONTROL CAR, TURNED OFF IGNITION, AND STOPPED ON SHOULDER. I HAD TO WAIT WHAT SEEMED LIKE 2-3 MINUTES BEFORE IT WOULD RESTART WITHOUT RACING. TONIGHT WAS DIFFERENT. I HAD BRAKED OFF CRUISE CONTROL AS I EXITED 94E TO 65N. AS I BEGAN TO PLAN MY MERGE ONTO 65 A GUY ALONE IN THE RIGHT LANE WOULD NOT MOVE OVER, I ROLLED INTO AND THE ACCELERATION HAPPENED AGAIN. THERE WAS NO SHOULDER AT FIRST AND THE BRAKES WERE ALMOST OVERWHELMED. I TURNED OFF IGNITION AND COASTED FORWARD UNTIL I GOT A SHOULDER. ON MY SECOND RESTART IT REVED TO 3,000 RPM THEN VERY SLOWLY GOT TO A NORMAL IDLE. I STARTED DRIVING AGAIN.
CAR IS SURGING WHEN FOOT IS ON BRAKE. STALLING OUT ON HIGHWAY WHEN SLOWING DOWN ALMOST CAUSING WRECKS. I NOW HAVE TO KEEP FOOT ON BRAKE AND GAS SAME TIME.

THERE IS BUBBLING IN THE PAINT IN THE TIP OF THE HOOD WHICH I HAVE BEEN TOLD IS CORROSION ON THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR. FORD WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF IT SAYING IT IS OUT OF WARRANTY. THIS IS A MANUFACTURER'S PROBLEM AS THERE ARE MANY COMPLAINTS AND CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT PENDING.
