TAKATA RECALL, IT'S BEEN ALMOST TWO YEARS SINCE I'VE BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE MY MUSTANG SAFELY. FIRST IT WAS A RECALL FOR THE DRIVER'S AIR BAG IN JULY 2015, THEN NOT A MONTH AFTER IT BEING REPLACED, THERE'S A RECALL ON THE PASSENGER SIDE ON JULY 1, 2016. MY WIFE REFUSES TO RIDE IN IT, SO WE HAD TO BUY ANOTHER CAR FOR HER. WE LIVE IN CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA AND WE PURCHASED THE CONVERTIBLE TO HAVE ENJOY IT DOWN HERE. I WRITTEN TO FORD AND THEY SIMPLY REPLIED THAT THEY'LL SEND ME A WRITTEN NOTICE VIA MAIL WHEN THE REPLACEMENT BAG IS AVAILABLE. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! CAN YOU DO ANYTHING TO EXPEDITE THE PROCESS? TAKATA RECALL (RECALL DATE: JUN 1, 2016) - THE PASSENGER FRONTAL AIRBAG INFLATOR COULD RUPTURE IF THE VEHICLE IS INVOLVED IN A CRASH WHERE THE SUPPLEMENTAL FRONTAL AIRBAGS ARE DESIGNED TO DEPLOY. THIS DEFECT REPORT IS IN RESPONSE TO TAKATA DIRS 16E-042, 16E-043, 16E-044. THERE IS STILL NO REMEDY!!

THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS NEEDED FOR THE RECALL REMEDY WERE STILL NOT AVAILABLE AND NO ESTIMATED TIME FOR RECEIVING THE PARTS COULD BE PROVIDED. TAKATA RECALL--DRIVER SIDE INFLATOR WAS REPAIRED JULY 2016. IN JUNE 2016 RECEIVED ADDITIONAL RECALL FOR PASSENGER AIRBAG INFLATOR. IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN A YEAR SINCE NOTIFICATION. MY VEHICLE IS IN THE PRIORITY DUE TO AGE AND I AM ZONE 1. I CONTACTED THE DEALER IN OCTOBER 2016 AND WAS ADVISED THEY EXPECTED PARTS IN JANUARY 2017. AS OF THIS DATE I HAVE HEARD NOTHING . WE ARE AT RISK FOR LIABILITY IF I CARRY A PASSENGER. IT IS NOT UNREASONABLE TO EXPECT RESOLUTION AFTER WAITING A YEAR AND HAVING A PRIORITY VEHICLE.

"TAKATA RECALL" I WAS NOTIFIED ABOUT A PASSENGER AIRBAG RECALL FOR MY MUSTANG ON JUN 1 2016 AND TO CALL MY DEALER. I CALLED THE DEALER MULTIPLE TIMES SINCE AND STILL THERE ARE NO PARTS AVAILABLE. I CANNOT LET ANYONE RIDE AS A PASSENGER FOR FEAR OF AN ACCIDENT THAT COULD ACTIVATE A POTENTIALLY DEADLY SITUATION. HELP!!!!!!

TAKATA RECALL, I RECEIVED A LETTER FOR A FACTORY RECALL FOR MY PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG OVER A YEAR AGO. I HAVE CALLED THE DEALER SHIP TWICE AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT I HAVE TO WAIT FOR FORD TO CONTACT ME WITH A SECOND LETTER. I THINK A YEAR AND A HALF IS WAY TO LONG TO BE WAITING FOR A REPLACEMENT.
TAMARA RECALL - I GOT A RECALL NOTICE MID 2016. I CALLED MY LOCAL DEALER AND WAS TOLD THEY DIDN'T HAVE REPLACEMENTS. IN THE NEXT 9 MONTHS, I SERVICED MY CAR TWICE AND WAS TOLD BOTH TIMES THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE PARTS, AND I'D GET A LETTER WHEN THEY DID. IT'S NOVEMBER 2017 AND I'VE RECEIVED NO LETTER.

I HAVE WENT BACK TO FORD DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES BUT I KEEP BEING TOLD THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PARTS TO FIX IT YET. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW AND SO WE CANNOT DRIVE THE CAR SINCE IT IS DANGEROUS FOR MY WIFE TO RIDE ON THE PASSENGER SEAT.

FORD HAS NOT HAD THE PASSENGER AIRBAG REPLACEMENT AVAILABLE SINCE THE RECALL. IT IS A DANGER TO TRANSPORT ANY PASSENGERS KNOWING THAT THEIR AIRBAG IS RECALLED AND CAN CAUSE LIFE-THREATENING INJURY. THE PASSENGER AIRBAG IS CURRENTLY DISABLED.

TAKATA RECALL. I HAVE RECEIVED NOTICES REGARDING THIS RECALL (DATED 6/1/16) THAT APPLIES TO MY VEHICLE OVER THE PAST COUPLE YEARS. WHEN I HAVE CONTACTED MY FORD DEALER, THEY HAVE SAID THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PARTS TO COMPLETE THIS RECALL. CONTACTED FORD A YEAR AFTER GETTING THE LETTER AND THEY STILL DO NOT HAVE THE PARTS, I WANT THEM TO GIVE ME A LOANED CAR TILL THEY CAN FIX MINE.
THIS COMPLAINT IS ABOUT THE RECALL PROCESS ON MY SON'S MUSTANG. FORD SENT US NOTICE LAST YEAR AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE AS THE DEALER REPEATLY TOLD THEY DON'T HAVE THE PART YET. IF THE SITUATION CAN CAUSE INJURY, I WOULD EXPECT PRIORITY TO BE PLACED ON REPLACEMENT PARTS.

TAKATA RECALL. I RECEIVED NOTICE OF RECALL ON MY FORD MUSTANG 9 TO 12 MONTHS AGO. THE DEALER TELLS ME THEY DON'T HAVE THE PART TO REPLACE THE AIRBAG. MY HUSBAND AND SON BOTH HAD THE SAME RECALL ON THEIR DODGE CARS AND THE VEHICLES WERE REPAIRED IMMEDIATELY MANY MONTHS AGO. IN THE MEAN TIME, I'M STILL WAITING FOR PARTS FOR MY CAR AND PRAYING I'M NOT IN A CAR ACCIDENT. I HAVE GREAT CONCERN FOR MY SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF MY GRANDCHILDREN, WHO FREQUENTLY TRAVEL IN MY CAR. IT SEEMS ABSOLUTELY WRONG THAT MY LIFE SEEMS TO BE A NO CONCERN TO FORD. THIS "PART ISSUE" NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED. I WAS TOLD NOT TO CONTACT THE DEALER AGAIN UNTIL I HEAR FROM FORD THAT THE PART IS AVAILABLE. TAKATA RECALL. I WAS NOTIFIED BY FORD AROUND JUNE OF 2015 ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF A DEFECTIVE AIRBAG INFLATOR ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE. IT IS ALMOST APRIL 2016, AND AS OF TODAY, FORD HAS NO IDEA WHEN SERVICE PARTS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR THE REPAIR. THIS CAR IS DRIVEN EVERY DAY AND I AM DISAPPOINTED AT THE LACK OF SPEED THAT TAKATA AND FORD SEEM TO BE PLACING ON THIS RECALL.
