Shift to park issue known recall issue in other GMC Acadias ... Vehicle will not lock into park and can NOT remove key anymore electrical still runs in vehicle causing the battery to drain ... Now have to force vehicle to shift into Park as best as possible but still does not fully lock into Park gear anymore ... I was shifting into Park.
The contact owned a 2010 GMC Acadia. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, white and black smoke had leaked into the interior cabin through the air vents. No warning lights illuminated. The vehicle had caught on fire under the hood. The contact pulled over to the side of the road when the vehicle was engulfed in flames. The local fire department arrived on scene and extinguished the fire. The source of the fire was unidentified. A police report was filed. The contact sought medical attention for smoke inhalation. The vehicle was towed to a local tow lot via the insurance provider. The vehicle was deemed a total loss. The local dealer was not contacted. In addition, the contact related the failure to an unknown NHTSA Campaign that was previously repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
Timing chain and gears
Check Engine Light. Faulty timing chain. Rack and pinion repairs needed. Examined by two automotive locations: LaFontaine Automotive GMC of Ann Arbor (Michigan) and Mazur's Total Automotive in Pinckney, MI
When drving at a slower speed to make a sharp turn, steering wheel almost locks up or have to use both hands to turn the wheel. As if there is no power steering in the vehicle. At times you can not turn as sharp as needed putting you in danger of being hit by another vehicle.
The contact owns a 2010 GMC Acadia. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle lost power steering functionality. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who informed the contact that the high- and low-pressure hoses, steering pump, and rack and pinion needed to be replaced. The contact called the local dealer however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified but no additional assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 145,000.
The car completely stopped while driving. Upon towing it to the shop, they stated the timing chain cause the engine to not work. This is a safety hazard due to anyone could of gotten hurt or this could have cause an accident due to I was not able to steer or do anything.
Timing chain was replaced on 11/26/2019 and failed again on 02/09/2022. Needs to be a manufacturer defect that gets fixed for free. So dangerous.
The contact owns a 2010 GMC Acadia. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start without warning. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. power train came up on a computer check witch looks like the same problem that is already on here my engine light is on as long as my abs and track control light stable light is on
2010 GMC Acadia transmission had to be replaced due to faulty wave plate. I have seen many others with this same problem. GM is aware of the issue and even issued a special warranty for 2007-2009 models. 2010 models are having this same issue. GM should stand behind their products and issue a recall. This cost us over $3000.
The same model and year has a recalled for a steering issue. But due to mine having a salvage title it is not cover. They say it is NOT a safety issue. And that is NOT true. It is to the point that I can’t hardly even turn it. It is so hard to turn the steering wheel. And it is getting worse. It is a safety issue if you can’t turn the steering wheel it can cause a wreck. Please please help me with this issue..
The contact owns a 2010 GMC Acadia. The contact stated while driving 45 mph, the vehicle began to idle rapidly and smoke was exiting the hood. The contact stated there was no warning light illuminated. The contact was able to park on the side of the road for approximately an hour before driving to her residence. The contact never saw a fire while examining the vehicle. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with needing the timing chain to be replaced along with an oil leak. The vehicle was not repaired. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.
BACK SEAT ARM REST BRACKET WELDS FAILED. NOT ENOUGH PENETRATION. WHAT ELSE DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH WELD PENETRATION ON THE SEAT FRAMES? WORKING IN AN AUTOMOTIVE SEATING FACILITY I KNOW THE IMPORTANCE.
I purchased this vehicle in Feb. 2021. Shortly after my purchase I noticed the steering would tighten up randomly when turning corners making it very difficult to steer / control the vehicle. It also does this when parking. This has happened numerous times since I purchased the vehicle. I googled the problem and found some info dated in September 16, 2014 indicating GM's Special Coverage Adjustment - Loss of Power Steering Assist indicating the special coverage covers condition described for 10 years after 1st svc date (the Carfax I received said was 2.10.2011) or 150,000 mi whichever occurs first from date vehicle originally placed in service regardless of ownership. I purchased my vehicle from a dealership on 2.03.2021 - took possession 2.06.2021. My vehicle only has 73,676 mi on it. I reached out to general motors to see if they would assist with the problem since I was not aware the issue prior to purchasing and I am the second owner. They declined and told me to contact my dealership and work with them.
all the wiring under the dash has got the installation melted off of the wiring and can't get the vehicle to start or get any power to the battery or ect and the fuse box under the dash has 50 fuses in it and out of all of them only one of them out of 50 is getting power and to me it's a fire Hazzard and i think gmc needs to do a recall on it or replace my vehicle i've got it in a garage now and that's what the mechanic has found out about is the wiring under the dash
THE TRANSMISSION SLIPS. WHEN YOU START THE VEHICLE IT SOMETIMES STARTS IN THE WRONG GEAR AND NEEDS TO BE SHUT OFF AN RESTARTED, OTHERWISE IT RUNS ON TOO MANY RPM. AT TIMES WHEN PUSHING ON THE GAS, AFTER A STOP AT A LIGHT, IT DOES NOT MOVE FOR A WHILE. WHEN IT DOES MOVE IT JERKS AND ABRUPTLY STARTS. THE RUNNING DAY HEAD LAMP OVERHEATS AND BURNS OUT THE LIGHT BULB, CAUSING IT TO EXPLODE.
VEHICLE WAS BACKED INTO A CONCRETE PORCH IN THE DRIVEWAY AT A LOW SPEED. SIDE AIRBAGS NEAR THE FRONT SEATS PARTIALLY DEPLOYED, SEPARATING THE PLASTIC AND RELEASING SMOKE/POWDER INTO VEHICLE WITHOUT DEPLOYING THE AIRBAG AND LOCKED THE SEAT BELTS SO TIGHTLY IT BROKE THE PLASTIC BASE OF THE SEAT BELTS.
I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE ON JUNE 25 ,2020 AND ON AUGUST 19,2020 IT BROKE DOWN ON THE EXPRESSWAY WHILE I WAS TRANSFERRING FROM ONE HOSPITAL TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL WITH ME I'LL 3 YEAR OLD .I REPLACED THE BATTERY AND STARTER IT STILL WOULD NOT CRANK I SENT IT TO BUICK GMC IN MORROW AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THE MOTOR WAS COMPLETELY GONE. I PAID MY CAR NOTE UP UNTIL FEBRUARY 5,2021 AND I DON'T HAVE A VEHICLE BECAUSE IT NEEDS A NEW MOTOR.
STARTED TO DRIVE TRUCK, TURNED OUT OF DRIVEWAY IN RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD, MAX SPEED IS 45 MPH AND WAS ABLE TO DRIVE AND THEN THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP 2 MILES DOWN THE CITY STREET. COULDN'T TURN LEFT OR RIGHT AND ALMOST CRASHED INTO A T INTERSECTION POWER STEERING FLUID WAS AT MAX AND NO ENGINE LIGHT OR STATUS WAS LIT.
WHEN I SLOW DOWN TO MAKE A TURN REGARDLESS IF I TURN RIGHT OR LEFT IT'S VERY HARD TO STEER. SOMETIMES IT MAKES A WHINING NOISE THAT IT'S NEVER MADE BEFORE UNTIL NOW AND AS OF THIS PAST WEEKEND ANY TIME I TRY TO TURN ITS EXTREMELY HARD. I ALMOST GOT HIT SEVERAL TIMES JUST TRYING TO GET MY CAR HOME FROM A FRIEND'S HOUSE. MY HUSBAND CHECKED THE POWER STEERING FLUID AND IT'S FULL. *TR
POWER STTERING IS LOCKING UP. HAVE CHECKED THE FLUID ITS FULL. MAKES IT VERY HARD TO STEER WHEN YOU MAKE TURNS
FIRST PROBLEM IS THAT THE POWER STEERING IS HARD TO TURN WHEN NOT MOVING OR WHILE DRIVING AT SLOWER SPEEDS AS IF THERE IS NO POWER STEERING AT ALL. SECOND PROBLEM IS THE TRANSMISSION OCCASIONALLY WILL NOT SHIFT FROM 1ST GEAR WHICH WILL CAUSE ME TO PULL OVER TO A COMPLETE STOP THEN ACCELERATE AGAIN ALLOWING IT TO SHIFT.
MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON SO I TOOK IT TO MY MECHANIC BECAUSE I NEED AN INSPECTION STICKER. FOUND OUT TODAY AFTER I TOOK IT TO A GMC DEALER THAT I NOW NEED TO REPLACE MY TIMING CHAIN. I'VE ONLY OWNED THE CAR A YEAR AND A HALF. I BOUGHT AN EXTENDED POWER TRAIN WARRANTY BUT DOUBT ITS COVERED. THIS SHOULD BE COVERED BY THE RECALL, IT SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE FOR MORE THAN JUST ME.
THE ABS AND THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON ALL OF SUDDEN WHEN I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE AND IT JUST STAYS ON. *TR
CAR WOULD NOT START AFTER PUTTING GAS IN IT. WE TOOK IT TO THE MECHANIC THAT REPLACED THE TIMING CHAIN AND HE SAID THE ENGINE WENT OUT OF TIMING CAUSED THE ENGINE TO BE OUT OF TIME, COMBUST, AND DESTROY THE ENGINE.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. TOOK IT TO CHECK THE CODES AND MECHANIC SAYS THAT MY TIMING CHAIN IN STRETCHED. THERE IS ONLY 114,XXX MILES ON IT. IT'S GOING TO COST A LOT TO GET IT FIXED.
WHILE DRIVING OR NOT THE CAR HAS A DISPLAY ON SCREEN ON ODOMETER OF PARK ASSIST OFF NO CODE COMES UP OTHER THEN THIS ON DISPLAY ON ODOMETER.

LEFT SIDE IMPACT SENSOR, DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG, PASSENGER PRESENCE MODULE, FRONT STRUTS, REAR UPPER CONTROL ARMS, FRONT BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS, STEERING GEAR... ALL AT ONCE.
TIMING CHAIN ISSUES. FAILED TENSIONER. 114,00 MILES
I NOTICED BOTH OF MY DRIVING LIGHTS HAD GONE OUT AND WENT TO REPLACE. THEY ARE THE HID HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES AND THE DRIVING LIGHT SOCKETS AND BULBS MELTED TOGETHER RESULTING IN CRACKING THAT REFLECTOR/PROJECTION IN THE ASSEMBLY.MY VIN IS NOT THE "VIN SPECIFIC" INCLUDED IN THE SPECIAL RECALL 14283, BUT I HAVE THAT EXACT ISSUE.
I HAVE HAD 2 ENGINES REPLACED IN THIS TRUCK AND NOW THE AIR CONDITIONING IS NOT WORKING AND PLUS NO POWER STEERING. THE TRUCK WILL STEER UPON SPEED. CANNOT PARALLEL PARK BECAUSE OF THIS. WHEN MAKING A TURN REGARDLESS OF LEFT OR RIGHT I HAVE TO STEP ON THE GAS IN ORDER TO STEER THE CAR.
IN 2013 GMC SENT A LETTER THAT THE ENGINE COOLANT MAY LEAK FROM THE WATER PUMP SHAFT SEAL AND RESULTS IN WATER PUMP FAILURE. THEY SAID DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE IN UNLESS YOU THINK YOU HAVE A LEAK. THEY ALSO SAID IF THIS CONDITION OCCURS WITHIN 10 YRS OF THE DATE YOUR VEHICLE WAS ORIGINALLY PLACED IN SERVICE OR 120,000 MILES THEY WILL COVER REPAIRS. HOWEVER, AT THE END IT SAYS ALL WORK HAS TO BE COMPLETED BY OCTOBER 31, 2014. BY JULY 2019 BEFORE THE 10 YRS AND THE 120,000 MY VEHICLE FAILED ON THE HIGHWAY. THE COOLANT LEAKING ON THE TRANSFER CASE/AXEL FROM THE WATER PUMP CAUSED IT TO FAIL AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THEY DID NOT HONOR REIMBURSEMENT AND MADE THE TERMS OF THEIR WARNING CONFUSING AND DIFFICULT TO PARTICIPATE IN. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHAKE AND BLACK SMOKE SPILLED OUT FROM THE HOOD.
POWER CHAIN WENT OUT WHILE TAKING A CORNER AND ALMOST PUT MY HUSBAND AND DAUGHTER IN THE DITCH, HE STOPPED AND ALMOST GOT REAR-ENDED. MULTIPLE PEOPLE HAVE TOLD ME THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE, THIS COULD HAVE CAUSED A MAJOR ACCIDENT.
I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR TO 2 DIFFERENT MECHANICS FOR MY A/C NOT BLOWING COLD AIR AND WHEN IT IS REFILLED IT BUILDS UP PRESSURE AND THEN I CAN HEAR IT ALL SPRAYING OUT FROM UNDER THE HOOD LIKE AN AIR HOSE. ALSO, MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON I HAVE BEEN TOLD IT IS MY CAMSHAFT SENSOR, I WAS TOLD BOTH OF THESE WERE RECALLED AND THE GMC DEALERSHIP WILL TAKE CARE OF ME FOR FREE, I TOOK MY CAR TO A GMC DEALERSHIP AND THEY WOULD NOT HELP ME AND SAID MY CAR DOESN'T HAVE ANY OPEN RECALLS AND IF THERE WAS THEY STILL COULD NOT HELP ME BECAUSE IT WAS OVER THE MILES REQUIRED. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE SAME YEAR AND MODEL AS MINE WITH THE SAME PROBLEMS IS GETTING THEIRS FIXED FOR FREE BUT I WAS UNABLE TO BE HELPED, I DON'T SEE HOW THIS IS FAIR I AM A SINGLE MOM RIDING AROUND IN THIS HEAT WORKING MY TAIL OFF TO DO THE BEST I CAN . WHEN TURNING LEFT OR RIGHT POWER STEERING STOPS WORKING, COMES BACK AFTER YOU COMPLETE THE TURN THIS WHEN MOVING
WHEN OPEN HATCH THE HATCH AUTOMATICALLY STARTS CLOSING AND THEN IT FALLS TO CLOSED POSITION.VEHICLE IS ALWAYS STATIONARY
THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN A PROBLEM SINCE I PURCHASED IT. UNFORTUNATELY, MY STATE DOES NOT HAVE A LEMON LAW FOR USED VEHICLES SO I HAVE BEEN STUCK WITH REPAIR AFTER REPAIR. #1 THE BATTERY. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE IN 2016 AND I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE BATTERY TWICE ALREADY. THIS VEHICLE HAS KILLED CELLS IN MULTIPLE BATTERIES. #2 THE TRANSMISSION. WHEN I INITIALLY PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE OCCASIONALLY IT WOULD NOT SMOOTHLY SHIFT INTO 3RD GEAR. I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER MULTIPLE TIMES, BUT OF COURSE THE ISSUE WOULD REPLICATE DURING THEIR TEST DRIVE SO THEY COULDN'T DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE. THE ISSUE IS THAT THE TRUCK WILL NOT SHIFT CORRECTLY, BUT THE PROBLEM NORMALLY CORRECTS IF YOU TURN THE VEHICLE OFF AND THEN TURN IT BACK ON. THE PROBLEM IS THAT YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THE TRUCK WILL NOT SHIFT GEARS. THIS IS PROBLEMATIC WHEN YOU HAVE A TODDLER IN THE VEHICLE AND NEED TO GET ON THE HIGHWAY AND ALL OF THE SUDDEN THE VEHICLE WILL NOT SHIFT IN TO 3RD GEAR, THEN YOU HAVE TO TRY TO SAFELY FIND A SHOULDER AND HOPE THAT TURNING OFF/TURNING ON THE VEHICLE WILL FIX THE ISSUE. SOMETIMES IT'S A 1X FIX; OTHER TIMES THE VEHICLE HAS TO THE RESTARTED 3X TIMES BEFORE THE VEHICLE WILL CHANGE GEARS CORRECTLY. DIAGNOSIS FROM 1 MECHANIC, SOMETHING IS STICKING IN THE TRANSMISSION AND THE ENTIRE TRANSMISSION NEEDS TO BE REPLACED #3 TIMING CHAIN. THIS IS THE MOST RECENT ISSUE. IT BEGAN WITH AN ONSET OF A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND MULTIPLE CODES ABOUT A CRANKSHAFT SENSOR, O2 SENSORS, ETC. ORIGINALLY THE MECHANIC WAS GOING TO REPLACE THE SENSORS, BUT INSISTS ON REPLACING THE TIMING CHAIN ASSEMBLY BASED ON THE INFORMATION DISCOVERED ABOUT VEHICLES USING THE SAME PARTS AND RECALLS IT'S UNFORTUNATE TO DISCOVER THAT THIS VEHICLE HASN'T HAD A RECALL ISSUED FOR ANY OF THESE ISSUES KNOWING THAT THEY POSE SAFETY RISKS FOR DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN AND THE ELDERLY.
THE VEHICLE STARTED WITH A MISS IN THE ENGINE AND TOOK IT TO OUR LOCAL GMC DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD US IT WOULD NEED A NEW ENGINE BECAUSE OF THE TIMING BELT AND BEING OUT OF TIME, SAID IT WOULD BE $5000. SO WE WANTED A SECOND OPINION AND HAD IT TOWED TO MY MECHANIC WHICH IS A ASE CERTIFIED MECHANIC AND HE SAID THE SAME THING BUT HE SAID HE COULD JUST REPLACE THE TIMING BELT AND GET IT GOING AND HE REPLACED IT BUT ITS STILL OUT OF TIME AND IT COST $3250. THE GM DEALERSHIP KNEW OF THE PROBLEM AND SAID IT WAS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THEM AND THAT THE 2009 MODEL WAS COVERED UNDER THE ENGINE RECALL BUT NOT 2010 OR NEWER EVEN THOUGH THEY KNOW ABOUT IT. HAD TO END UP BUYING ANOTHER VEHICLE AND STILL HAVE THE OTHER ONE PARKED IN THE SHED AND CANT DRIVE IT.
I OWN A 2010 GMC ACADIA. THE CODE THAT WAS BEING THROWN WAS P0008. I HAD TO HAVE THE CHAINS AND ACTUATORS REPLACED IN THE ENGINE. AFTER PAYING FOR THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS BACK ON AGAIN, SO THE VEHICLE IS BACK AT THE SHOP AGAIN. THERE IS A SERVICE BULLETIN OUT FOR 2007-2012 HOWEVER, THE EXTENDED WARRANTY IS ONLY FOR 2007-2009. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE THAT GMC NEEDS TO TAKE CARE OF. SEEMS TO ME THAT THE LEMON LAW MAY APPLY AS I AM SEEING MORE AND MORE PEOPLE HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE. MAYBE WE SHOULD CONTACT AN ATTORNEY TO GET GMC TO TAKE CARE OF THIS ISSUE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 GMC ACADIA. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESPOND WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. ADDITIONALLY, THE HEADLAMP CONNECTOR WERE REPLACED FOR OVERHEATING AND MELTING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER (BOB HOWARD BUICK GMC ADDRESS: 13300 BROADWAY EXT, OKLAHOMA CITY, OK 73114) THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED BUT NOT REPAIRED. THE DIAGNOSIS WAS FAILED HEADLAMPS THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED HOWEVER OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000. TP
AFTER I PULL INTO MY DRIVEWAY AND PUT MY CAR IN PARK AND TURN OFF THE IGNITION THE CAR GETS STUCK IN PARK AND WONT SHIFT BACK OUT FOR HOURS. ALSO WHEN I'M DRIVING THE CAR STATES THAT THE ENGINE IS IN REDUCED POWER AND THE TRACTION CONTROL IS OFF AND TO SERVICE STABILITRAK. THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE OF ALL YEARS FROM 2007 TO THE PRESENT IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED 6 DEATHS SO FAR AND STILL NO RECALL TO FIX MY CAR I DONT WANT TO END UP BEING ANOTHER DEATH IF YOU DONT FIX THIS ISSUE
BRAKE SYSTEM LIGHT CONTINUES TO COME ON. HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WHICH WAS TOLD JUST LOW ON BRAKE FLUID. FILLED AND CONTINUED TO COME ON AND WAS TOLD CAUSES THE STABILITY TRACK LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE. LOOKED IT UP ONLINE THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER COMPLAINT. WHERE DOES THIS SITUATION STAND.
TRUCK WONT CRANK! NEW BATTERY, STARTER & ALTERNATER PASSED. BOOSTED IT OFF CRANKED STRAIGHT UP, PARKED FOR A HOUR, WOULDN'T CRANK AGAIN. VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY IN A PARKING LOT.
MY ACADIA STARTED ACTING UP AND SHIFTING GEARS HARD WHEN GOING UP MOUNTAINS THEN IT STARTED NOT WANTING TO CHANGE GEARS FROM 3 TO 4 AND THE CODE RAN WAS SHIFTER STUCK ALSO ONCE GETTING IT IN THE SHOP WAS READING 3 OTHER TRANSMISSION CODES AND WAS TOLD MY TRANSMISSION WILL NEED TO BE REBUILT FOR $2800.00 I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THIS VEHICLE WHEN MADE WAS NOTORIOUS FOR TRANSMISSION ISSUES AND THAT GM WAS COVERING THE PROBLEM UP TO 100K MILES MINE NOW HAS 168K BUT I WAS NEVER TOLD AND IT DIDN'T SHOW AS A RECALL TO HAVE ANYTHING DONE ABOUT THIS. AS A SINGLE MOTHER OF 3 $2800. ISN'T EASY TO JUST COME UP WITH ESPECIALLY AFTER HAVING HAS OTHER PROBLEMS THAT HAD TO BE FIXED. WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS?
POWER STEERING GOES OUT AT LOW SPEED TURNS BOTH TURNING LEFT AND RIGHT, AND THEN COMES BACK WHEN STEERING WHEEL FORCED THROUGH THE TURN. VERY DANGEROUS. NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO AS I SEE A COMMON ISSUE. STARTED AT ABOUT 85K MILES AND NOW AT 88K. NEED TO GET SERVICED.
MY ACADIA IS THROWING P0008 CODE. IT BEGAN HAVING POWER ISSUES NOT BEING ABLE TO ACCELERATE AND PULLING UP THE SMALLEST HILLS. ALL OF THIS STARTED GOING 70MPH DOWN THE INTERSTATE. NOT A GOOD SPOT OR TIME TO DECELERATE. ALSO STARTED HAVING A VERY ROUGH IDLE. IT IS AT A GMC DEALER NOW AND AM BEING TOLD TIMING CHAIN WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACED. WAS TOLD THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM AND SHOULD REPORT IT SINCE IT IS THE SAME PROBLEM ON THE 2009 AND THOSE WERE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY }:(
